नागपूर: पाणीटंचाई लक्षात घेता अंबाझरीचे पाणी या दुष्काळात पिण्यासाठी वापरण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला. हे पाणी शुद्ध करून डिफेन्स, वाडी आणि दवलामेटी या भागातील नागरिकांना देण्यात आले. मात्र, आता अंबाझरीतही केवळ गाळ शिल्लक असून महाराष्ट्र जीवन प्राधिकरणने पाणीपुरठा बंद केला आहे.
जलसंकट लक्षात घेता अंबाझरी तलावातील पाण्याचा पुन्हा पिण्यासाठी वापर करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला. डिफेन्स, वाडी आणि दवलामेटी या भागांना पाणी देण्यासाठी तीन महिन्यांचा करार करण्यात आला होता. ८ दशलक्ष घनमीटर क्षमता असलेल्या अंबाझरी तलावातील पाणी पूर्वी पिण्यासाठी वापरण्यात येत होते. दिवसाला १० एमएलडी पाणी वापरण्यात आले. हे पाणी डिफेन्ससाठी ७ एमएलडी, वाडीसाठी २ एमएलडी आणि दवलामेटीसाठी १ एमएलडी असे वापरण्यात आले. अंबाझरीच्या पाण्यामुळे १५ हजार कुटुंबांची तहान भागविण्यात आली. महिनाभरात ०.७५ दशलक्ष घनमीटर पाणी लागेल. दोन महिने पाणी वापरले तर दीड दशलक्ष घनमीटर पाणी लागेल, असे जीवन प्राधिकरण कार्यालयाकडून सांगण्यात आले होते. मात्र, आता तलावात काही पाणी दिसत असले तरी त्याखाली पूर्ण गाळ असल्याने अंबाझरीचे पाणी वापरणे शक्य नसल्याचे महाराष्ट्र जीवन प्राधिकरणाकडून सांगण्यात आले.
पम्प फसले गाळात
वाडी नगरपरिषदेचे ७ हजार ५०० ग्राहक, महाराष्ट्र जीवन प्राधिकरणाचे २२००, देवलामेटीचे २१००, डिफेन्समधील ३ हजार कुटुंबांना आतापर्यंत अंबाझरीचे पाणी वितरित करण्यात आले. मात्र, आता ज्या पाइपच्या माध्यमातून पाणी वितरित करण्यात येत होते, ते पाइप गाळात फसले असल्याने पाणी काढणे बंद झाले आहे.
वेणा धरणाचा आधार
डिफेन्स, वाडी आणि दवलामेटी या भागांना आता वेणा धरणातून पाणीपुरवठा करण्यात येत आहे. वेणा धरणाची पातळी तीन फुटांनी वाढल्याने या धरणातून आता पाणी दिले जात आहे. वेणामधून १२ मिलियन लिटर पाणी दिले जात असल्याचे महाराष्ट्र जीवन प्राधिकरणाकडून सांगण्यात आले.
नागपूर: वेस्टर्न कोलफिल्ड्स मधील कोळसा खाणीत मोठ्या प्रमाणात सुरू असलेला भ्रष्टाचार तत्काळ रोखावा आणि संबंधित अधिकारी निलंबित करून व कंत्राटदारांवर कारवाई करण्यात यावी,’ अशी मागणी खासदार कृपाल तुमाने यांनी गुरुवारी लोकसभेत केली.
कृपाल तुमाने यांनी नियम ३७७ अंतर्गत वेकोलितील भ्रष्टाचाराकडे सरकारचे लक्ष वेधले. अधिकाऱ्यांच्या संगनमताने कंपनीत कोलमाफियांची टोळी सक्रिय आहे. यावर कुणाचाही वचक नाही. काही अधिकारी माफियाच्या भूमिकेत असल्याने राष्ट्रीय संपत्तीचे नुकसान होत असून, सरकारचा महसूलही बुडत आहे. गेल्यावर्षी १४ ऑगस्ट रोजी उमरेड क्षेत्रातील खाणीत कार्यरत महिलेवर कोळसा ट्रान्सपोर्ट करणारी मेसर्स खान ट्रान्सपोर्ट कंपनीच्या कर्मचाऱ्याने बलात्कार केल्याचे प्रकरण गाजले. ही महिला दीड महिना आयसीयू व नंतर २२ दिवस व्हेंटिलेटरवर होती. यानंतर ट्रान्सपोर्ट कंपनीला काळ्या यादीत टाकण्यात आले. अल्पावधीतच मेसर्स खान ट्रान्सपोर्टची परत कंत्राटदार म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली. भ्रष्टाचाराचा ही उघड पद्धत कोणती, असा सवाल त्यांनी केला.
वेकोलिच्या अध्यक्ष व व्यवस्थापकीय संचालकांचा प्रशासनावर कोणताही वचक नाही. ट्रकमध्ये कोळसा वाहतुकीसाठी २० टनाची पावती तयार करण्यात येते आणि प्रत्यक्षात २५ टन कोळसा भरला जातो. रोज अशा शेकडो ट्रकमध्ये वाहतूक होते. ओव्हरलोडिंगकडे आरटीओदेखील लक्ष देत नाही. खाणींमध्ये परप्रांतातील चोरीचे ट्रक सर्रास वापरले जात आहेत. याकडेही वेकोलि आणि आरटीओचे लक्ष नाही. या सर्व भ्रष्टाचारासाठी संबंधित अधिकाऱ्यांना तत्काळ निलंबित करून चौकशी करण्यात यावी, अशी मागणी कृपाल तुमाने यांनी केला.
नागपूर : कर्नाटकमधील कुमारस्वामी यांचे सरकार पडल्यानंतर आज तीन दिवसांनी कर्नाटक भाजपचे प्रदेशाध्यक्ष आणि माजी मुख्यमंत्री बी. एस. येडियुरप्पा यांनी राज्यपालांची भेट घेत सरकार स्थापनेचा दावा केला. नव्या सरकारचा शपथग्रहण सोहळाआजच घेण्यात यावा अशी विनंती येडियुरप्पा यांनी राज्यपाल वजुभाई वाला यांना केली. राज्यपाल वाला यांनी येडियुरप्पांचा प्रस्ताव मंजूर केला असून आजच नव्या मुख्यमंत्र्यांचा शपथग्रहण सोहळा होणार आहे. दरम्यान, येडियुरप्पा हेच कर्नाटकचे नवे मुख्यमंत्री असतील अशी माहिती पक्षाध्यक्ष अमित शहा यांनी दिलीय. येडियुरप्पा आज संध्याकाळी ६ वाजता शपथ घेतील. आपण राज्यपालांची भेट घेऊन सत्ता स्थापनेचा दावा केला असून आज संध्याकाळी ६ वाजता मुख्यमंत्रिपदाची शपथ घेऊ, अशी माहिती येडियुरप्पा यांनी राज्यपालांच्या भेटीनंतर प्रसारमाध्यमांशी बोलताना दिली.
येडियुरप्पांना बहुमत सिद्ध करावे लागणार
कर्नाटकात नवे सरकार स्थापन झाल्यानंतर सरकारपुढे खरे आव्हान बहुमत सिद्ध करण्याचे असेल. याचे कारण म्हणजे विधानसभा अध्यक्ष रमेश कुमार यांनी गुरुवारी काँग्रेसच्या तीन बंडखोर आमदारांचे कृत्य पक्षांतरबंदी कायद्यांतर्गत अयोग्य असल्याचे म्हटले आहे. त्यात अजूनही १४ बंडखोर आमदारांचे राजीनामे स्वीकारणे शिल्लक आहे. अशात सभागृहात आमदारांची संख्या २२२ इतकी आहे. बहुमतासाठी भाजपला ११२ आमदारांची आवश्यकता आहे. सद्यस्थितीत भाजपकडे १०६ आमदारांचे समर्थन आहे. यामुळे आवश्यक असेलल्या ६ आमदारांचे पाठबळ भाजप कुठून मिळवणार याकडे सर्वांच्या नजरा लागल्या आहेत.
नागपूर: भाजपच्या ‘संघटन पर्व’अंतर्गत पक्षासोबत नागरिकांना जोडण्यासाठी सुरू असलेल्या विविध अभियानात रक्षाबंधनाचे औचित्य साधून मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांना शहरातून दोन लाख राखी पाठवण्याचा निर्धार महिला मोर्चाने व्यक्त केला.
यासंदर्भात तयारीसाठी शिक्षक सहकारी बँकेच्या सभागृहात गुरुवारी ‘महिला शक्ती सन्मान’ संमेलन झाले. प्रत्येक बुथवरून शंभर राखी, अर्थात एका विधानसभा मतदारसंघातून सुमारे ३५ हजार राखी पाठवण्यात याव्या. त्यादृष्टीने नियोजन करण्याची सूचना शहर अध्यक्ष प्रवीण दटके यांनी केली. यास उपस्थिती महिला पदाधिकारी व कार्यकर्त्यांनी उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद दिला. घरोघरी जाऊन सदस्य नोंदवण्याचे आवाहन महापौर नंदा जिचकार व प्रदेश सरचिटणीस अर्चना डेहनकर यांनी केले. यावेळी आमदार सुधाकर देशमुख यांनी महिलांना पक्षाचे सदस्य केले. उपस्थितांनी मोबाइलचा टॉर्च लावून सदस्यत्व स्वीकारले.

नागपूर: ‘भीम’ हा शब्द जातीवाचक असल्याच्या कारणावरून ‘भीमसेना’ या राजकीय पक्षाची नोंदणी प्रक्रिया रद्द करण्याच्या निवडणूक आयोगाच्या निर्णयाला मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठात आव्हान देण्यात आले आहे. याप्रकरणी बुधवारी झालेल्या सुनावणीदरम्यान न्यायालयाने निवडणूक आयोगाला नोटीस बजावत आठ आठवड्यांच्या आत उत्तर सादर करण्याचे निर्देश दिले.
‘भीमसेना’ या राजकीय पक्षाने नोंदणीसाठी निवडणूक आयोगाकडे अर्ज केला होता. त्यावेळी निवडणूक आयोगाने ‘भीम’ हा शब्द जातीवाचक आहे. तो धर्म दर्शविणारा शब्द आहे. त्यामुळे पक्षाने अन्य पर्याय सुचवावे, असे सांगितले. त्यानुसार, पक्षाने भीम सेना स्वाभिमानी, भीम सेना इंडियन आदी पर्याय निवडणूक आयोगाकडे पाठवले. परंतु, पक्षाद्वारे पाठविण्यात आलेले पर्याय पोहोचण्यापूर्वी निवडणूक आयोगाने रोजी नावातील त्रुटींवर बोट ठेवत नोंदणी प्रक्रिया थांबविली.
याविरुद्ध भीमसेनेने उच्च न्यायालयात धाव घेतली आहे. सेनेने केलेल्या दाव्यानुसार, भीम हा शब्द जाती वा धर्मवाचक नाही. तो डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या नावातून घेण्यात आला आहे तसेच आजघडीला या नावाचा समावेश असलेले इतर राजकीय पक्ष अस्तित्वात आहे. यामध्ये प्रामुख्याने बहुजन भीम सेना, भीम पँथर आदींचा समावेश आहे. या सर्व राजकीय पक्षांच्या नावावर निवडणूक आयोगाने आजतागायत आक्षेप घेतलेला नाही. त्यामुळे भीमसेनेची नोंदणी प्रक्रिया सुरू करण्यास निवडणूक आयोगाने हरकत घेऊ नये. याचिकाककर्त्याचे म्हणणे ऐकून घेत न्यायालयाने निवडणूक आयोगाला आठ आठवड्यांमध्ये उत्तर सादर करण्याचे निर्देश दिले. याप्रकरणी याचिकाककर्त्यातर्फे अॅड. प्रदीप वाठोरे, तर निवडणूक आयोगातर्फे अॅड. नीरजा चौबे यांनी बाजू मांडली.

Nagpur: ANTRIX Corporation, the commercial arm of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), launched 239 satellites earning Rs 6,289 crore revenue, the Government informed the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. Replying to a question, Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh also said the Government had set up NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), which would replace the Antrix Corporation.
NSIL, under the administrative control of the Department of Space (DoS), will commercially exploit research and development work of the ISRO and other DoS units. NSIL had been set up to meet the ever-increasing demands of the Indian space program and to commercially exploit the emerging global space market, he added. It would spur Indian industries’ growth in the space sector and enable them to scale up manufacturing and production base, he said.
Presenting the Union Budget for 2019-20 earlier this month, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said India had emerged as a major space power with the technology and ability to launch satellites and other space products at low cost. NSIL would spearhead the commercialization of various space products, including launch vehicles and technologies, she said.
WITH the Chandrayaan-2 rover expected to soft-land on the lunar surface in September, a live show from ISRO has been planned on the D-Day by the National Geographic, the network said on Wednesday. India on Monday successfully launched the ambitious mission on-board its powerful rocket GSLV-MkIII-M1 from a spaceport in Sriharikota to explore the uncharted south pole of the moon. The rover’s soft landing is planned for September 7. “The live show, scheduled in September, will slowly drum up the excitement by giving the viewers deeper insights into the historic moment,” the National Geographic said in a statement.

नागपूर : उपराजधानीत अल्पवयीन गुन्हेगार सक्रिय झाले असून, वर्चस्वासाठी टोळीयुद्ध भडकले आहे. यातूनच दोन अल्पवयीन गुन्हेगारांनी साथीदारांच्या मदतीने कुख्यात गुन्हेगाराची हत्या केली. ही खळबळजनक घटना एमआयडीसीतील राजीवनगर भागात मंगळवारी रात्री घडली. एमआयडीसी पोलिसांनी सूत्रधार दोन अल्पवयीन मुलांना ताब्यात घेऊन एका मारेकऱ्याला अटक केली.
संदीप हिराचंद बावनकर (वय २२, रा. बहुजन कॉलनी), असे मृताचे तर गणेश ऊर्फ बऱ्या राम दांडेकर (वय २४) असे अटकेतील मारेकऱ्याचे नाव आहे. पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, संदीपविरुद्ध हत्येचे दोन व हत्येच्या प्रयत्नाचा एक गुन्हा दाखल आहे. एमआयडीसी भागात त्याचे वर्चस्व होते. तो गुन्हेगार असलेल्या अल्पवयीन मुलांवर वर्चस्व गाजवित होता. यावरून त्यांच्यात वाद सुरू होता. मंगळवारी रात्री संदीप हा साथीदारांसह परिसरात असलेल्या वाढदिवसाच्या कार्यक्रमाला गेला. यावेळी अल्पवयीन गुन्हेगारही तेथे होते. एका अल्पवयीन गुन्हेगाराने मुलीची छेड काढली. त्यामुळे संदीप व त्याच्यात वाद झाला. अल्पवयीन गुन्हेगार साथीदारांसह तेथून बाहेर गेले. वाढदिवसाचा कार्यक्रम आटोपून मध्यरात्री संदीप हा त्याच्या दोन साथीदारांसह राजीवनगर भागात उभा होता. यावेळी दोन अल्पवयीन मारेकरी व त्याचे पाच साथीदार तेथे आले. वाद मिटविण्याच्या बहाण्याने ते संदीपला टेकडीवर घेऊन गेले. टेकडीवर पोहोचताच त्यांनी संदीपला मारहाण करायला सुरुवात केली. मारहाण होत असल्याचे बघून संदीपचे साथीदार तेथून पसार झाले. मारहाणीत संदीप खाली कोसळला. एका अल्पवयीन गुन्हेगाराने त्याच्या डोक्यावर दगड घातला. यात संदीपचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला. मारेकरी पसार झाले.
दरम्यान, परिसरातील एका नागरिकाने पोलिसांना घटनेची माहिती दिली. माहिती मिळताच एमआयडीसी पोलिस स्टेशनचे वरिष्ठ पोलिस निरीक्षक भारत क्षीरसागर यांच्यासह पोलिसांचा ताफा तेथे पोहोचला. पंचनामा करून पोलिसांनी संदीपचा मृतदेह मेडिकल कॉलेज हॉस्पिटलकडे रवाना केला. खुनाचा गुन्हा दाखल करून पोलिसांनी मारेकऱ्यांचा शोध सुरू केला. एका तासात पोलिसांनी दोन अल्पवयीन मारेकऱ्यांना ताब्यात घेऊन गणेशला अटक केली. अल्पवयीन मारेकऱ्यांविरुद्ध हत्या, चोरी, लुटमार व दरोड्याचे गुन्हे दाखल आहेत.

Designed for performing high precision surgeries, the surgical system will be operated by a specialized team of trained surgeons.
Speaking about the utility of the system, Dr Anil Heroor, Senior Consultant, Surgical Oncology & HOD-Colorectal Surgery, Fortis Hospital, Mulund, said, “Use of this robotic surgical system will dramatically increase precision, visualization and dexterity with which the surgical procedures will be conducted; greatly benefitting the physicians and the patients. Mumbai : GoAir, India’s fastest growing airline, has yet again achieved the highest On-Time-Performance (OTP) amongst the scheduled domestic carriers for the 10th consecutive month in June 2019. As per data released by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), GoAir posted 86.8% OTP, the highest among scheduled domestic airlines.

नागपूर: ‘काही वेळा कठोर निर्णय घ्यावे लागतात, ते निर्णय योग्य की अयोग्य ते काळच ठरवेल, आज माझ्यासाठी आनंदाचाही दिवस आहे आणि दु:खाचाही’, असे सांगत आपण शिवसेनेत प्रवेश करत असल्याच्या वृत्तावर राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसचे मुंबई अध्यक्ष सचिन अहिर यांनी शिक्कामोर्तब केला. शिवसेनापक्षप्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे यांच्या ‘मातोश्री’ या निवासस्थानी जाण्यासाठी निघत असताना प्रसारमाध्यमांशी बोलताना अहिर यांनी हे मनोगत व्यक्त केले. पक्षप्रवेशाबाबत आपण आता पत्रकार परिषदेतच बोलू असे म्हणत त्यांनी अधिक प्रश्नांची उत्तरे टाळली.
अहिर यांचा प्रभाव असलेल्या वरळी या विधानसभा मतदारसंघातून शिवसेनेचे युवा नेते आदित्य ठाकरे हे निवडणूक लढवणार असल्याची शक्यता वर्तवण्यात येत आहे. सचिन अहिर यांच्या शिवसेनेतील पक्षप्रवेशामुळे वरळी मतदारसंघात शिवसेनेची ताकद वाढणार आहे. वरळीमधून आदित्य ठाकरे यांच्या नावाची चर्चा असल्याने स्वत: सचिन अहिर बाजूच्या भायखळा मतदार संघातून निवडणूक लढवण्यास इच्छुक असल्याचेही बोलले जात आहे.
आदित्य ठाकरे यांच्या विकासाच्या कामांच्या संकल्पनांमुळे आपण प्रभावित झालो आहोत. आता पर्यंत माझ्या भागात मी विकासकामे करत आलो आहे. या पुढील काळातही अधिक जोमाने आपण जनतेची कामे करू, असा विश्वासही अहिर यांनी व्यक्त केला.
पवार यांचे स्थान माझ्या हृदयात
मी एका विचारधारेच्या प्रवाहातून एका नव्या प्रवाहात जात आहे. याबाबत आपण राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पक्षाचे अध्यक्ष शरद पवार यांची भेट घेण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. त्यांच्याशी बोलण्याचा प्रयत्न केला, मात्र त्यांच्याशी माझ्या पक्षप्रवेशाबाबत बोलणे होऊ शकले नाही. शरद पवार यांचे स्थान माझ्या हृदयात कायम आहे, अशा शब्दात सचिन अहिर यांनी आपल्या भावना व्यक्त केल्या आहेत. माझ्या मतदारसंघातील वस्तुस्थिती आपण शरद पवार यांच्या कानावर घातलेली असल्याचेही ते म्हणाले.
नागपूर : राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसचे ज्येष्ठ नेते आणि माजी उपमुख्यमंत्री छगन भुजबळ शिवनेनेत जाणार या वृत्ताचा खुद्द भुजबळ यांनी स्पष्ट शब्दात इन्कार केला आहे. आपण शिवबंधन बांधून घेणार नसून आपल्या मनगटावर घड्याळच राहील असे सांगत शिवसेना प्रवेशाची चर्चा ही निव्वळ अफवा असल्याचे भुजबळ यांनी स्पष्ट केले आहे.
राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसचे मुंबईचे अध्यक्ष, माजी आमदार आणि माजी मंत्री सचिन अहिर आज शिवसेनेत प्रवेश करतील असे वृत्त प्रसिद्ध झाल्यानंतर छगन भुजबळ हे देखील शिवसेनेत प्रवेश करतीस अशी चर्चा रंगू लागली. अनेक वृत्तवाहिन्यांनी सूत्रांच्या हवाल्याने हे वृत्त आज सकाळपासून प्रसारित करण्यास सुरुवात केली. मात्र भुजबळांनी हे वृत्त अफवा असल्याचे म्हणत या चर्चेला पूर्णविराम दिला.
आज ११ वाजता गुजरातसह समुद्रात वाहून जाणारे पाणी गोदावरी खोऱ्यात वळविणाऱ्या राज्यातील पहिल्या प्रकल्पाचे उद्घाटन नाशिक जिल्ह्यातील दिंडोरी तालुक्यातील देवसाने येथे माझ्याच हस्ते होत आहे. आपण या कार्यक्रमात गुंतलेलो असून माझ्या शिवसेना प्रवेशाबाबतच्या चर्चेच काहीएक तथ्य नाही असे भुजबळ प्रसारमाध्यमांशी बोलताना म्हणाले.
सचिन अहिर आज शिवसेनेत प्रवेश करणार याबाबतचे वृत्तही आपण टीव्हीवरच पाहिले. माझे आणि सचिन अहिर यांचे बोलणे झालेले नाही. सचिन अहिर आणि माझा मुळचा मतदारसंघ एकच आहे. यामुळेच कदाचित सचिन अहिर यांच्याबरोबर माझे नाव घेतले जात असावे, असेही भुजबळ म्हणाले.
नागपूर : राज्यातील खासगी व विना अनुदानित वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयातील एमबीबीएस अभ्यासक्रम प्रवेशामध्ये आर्थिक दुर्बल घटकांना दहा टक्के आरक्षण मिळावे, अशी मागणी करणारी रिट याचिका मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठात दाखल करण्यात आली आहे. याप्रकरणी झालेल्या सुनावणीदरम्यान न्या. रवी देशपांडे आणि न्या. विनय जोशी यांनी राज्याचे मुख्य सचिव, वैद्यकीय शिक्षण व औषध द्रव्ये विभागाचे सचिव, वैद्यकीय शिक्षण व संशोधन संचालनालय, केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय आणि केंद्रीय आरोग्य व कुटुंब कल्याण मंत्रालय यांना नोटीस बजावून यावर एक आठवड्यात उत्तर सादर करण्याचा आदेश दिला.
यश भुतडा असे याचिका करणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्याचे नाव आहे. तो अमरावतीचा रहिवासी आहे. याचिकाकर्त्याने केलेल्या दाव्यानुसार, या शैक्षणिक वर्षातील प्रवेशाकरिता राज्य सीईटी सेलने ६ जुलै २०१९ रोजी तात्पुरते सीट मॅट्रिक्स प्रसिद्ध केले आहे. त्यात खासगी व विना अनुदानित वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयांतील जागांमध्ये आर्थिक दुर्बल घटक वगळता सामाजिक व शैक्षणिक मागासवर्गासह इतर सर्वांना आरक्षण देण्यात आले आहे. त्यामुळे आर्थिक दुर्बल घटकांवर अन्याय झाला आहे. त्यामुळे वादग्रस्त सीट मॅट्रिक्स अवैध ठरवून रद्द करण्यात यावे आणि खासगी व विना अनुदानित वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयांतील एमबीबीएस अभ्यासक्रम प्रवेशामध्ये आर्थिक दुर्बल घटकांना १० टक्के आरक्षण देण्यात यावे, असे याचिकाकर्त्याचे म्हणणे आहे. न्यायालयाने याचिकाकर्त्याचे म्हणणे ऐकून घेत सर्व प्रतिवादींना नोटीस बजावली आहे. त्यानुसार एका आठवड्यात उत्तर सादर करायचे आहे.
नागपूर : शासकीय कंपनीची वीजनिर्मिती ही नेहमीसाठी कायम ठेवणे आवश्यक आहे, हे लक्षात घेता कोराडी, खापरखेडा आणि राज्यातील अन्य वीजनिर्मिती केंद्रांतील ३५ वर्षे जुने संच बदलून तेथे आधुनिक तंत्राने युक्त असे दुसरे संच बसवण्यात येतील. कोणताही जास्तीचा नवीन संच लावण्यात येत नाही तसेच संपूर्ण वीजनिर्मिती ही सांडपाण्यावर प्रक्रिया करून ते पाणी वापरण्यात येणार आहे, अशी माहिती ऊर्जामंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी विदर्भ कनेक्ट संघटनेच्या पदाधिकाऱ्यांना दिली.
नवीन १ हजार ३२० मेगावॉट वीजनिर्मिती संचांची आवश्यकता आहे काय? यासारखे प्रश्न विदर्भ कनेक्टच्या पदाधिकाऱ्यांनी उपस्थित केले होते. या सर्व प्रश्नांना ऊर्जामंत्री बावनकुळे यांनी समाधानकारक उत्तर दिले. केंद्र शासन आणि प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडळाने प्रदूषण वाढविणारे जुने संच बंद करण्याच्या सूचना दिल्या आहेत. जुन्या संचातून प्रदूषण अधिक आणि महागडी वीज निर्माण होत आहे. यासाठ़ी जुन्या संचांच्या ठिकाणी नवीन सुपरक्रिटिकल संच उभारण्यात येणार आहे. महानिर्मिती ही शासकीय कंपनी असून या कंपनीची वीजनिर्मिती सुरू ठेवली नाही तर बाजारातून वीज विकत घ्यावी लागणार आहे. अशा स्थितीत बाजारातून महाग वीज मिळेल आणि त्याचा परिणाम वीजदरांवर होईल.
महानिर्मितीच्या मालकीची गरेपालमा ही कोळसा खाण असून, या खाणीतून कोळसा खापरखेडा व कोराडीला देण्यात येणार आहे. त्यामुळे वीज अधिक स्वस्त निर्माण होईल. जुन्या संचाच्या ठिकाणी नवीन संच बसवताना लागणाऱ्या सर्व सुविधा आणि तांत्रिक व्यवस्था सध्या उपलब्ध आहेत. यासाठी वेगळी व्यवस्था करण्याची गरज नाही. वेगळी जमीन घेण्याची गरज नाही, नव्याने पारेषण लाइन टाकण्याची गरज नाही, कोळसा वाहतुकीसाठी रेल्वे लाइन टाकण्याची गरज नाही म्हणून कोराडी, खापरखेडा, चंद्रपूर येथे जुने संच बदलणे सोयीचे असल्याचे ऊर्जामंत्र्यांनी सांगितले.
जुन्या संचांच्या जागेवर येणारे संच हे एफजीडीएससीआर आणि इतर अत्याधुनिक उपकरणांचा वापर करून उभारण्यात येणार आहेत. त्यामुळे प्रदूषण होणार नाही. राखेच्या विनियोगासाठी सध्या उपलब्ध असलेल्या राख बंधाऱ्याचाच वापर करण्यात येणार आहे. या प्रकल्पासाठी लागणारी जमीन ही महानिर्मितीच्या आवारातच उपलब्ध असल्याने नवीन जागेची गरज नाही. राज्यातील ४५ लाख शेतकऱ्यांना आपण सौर ऊर्जेवर घेणार आहोत, त्यामुळे दिवसा शेतीसाठी लागणाऱ्या पारंपरिक विजेची बचत होऊन ती वीज औद्योगिक आणि वाणिज्य ग्राहकांना देता येईल. परिणामी, क्रॉस सबसिडी बंद होऊन उद्योगांना मिळणारी वीज स्वस्त होईल. सौरऊर्जेसाठी कोळसा लागणार नाही, पाणी लागणार नाही. सौरऊर्जेचे ५ हजार मेगावॉटचे प्रकल्प सुरू आहेत. या शासनाने सौरऊर्जेच्या क्षेत्रात जेवढे काम केले, तेवढे काम यापूर्वी कधीच झालेले नाही, याकडेही ऊर्जामंत्र्यांनी शिष्टमंडळाचे लक्ष वेधले.
वीजनिर्मितीसाठी सांडपाण्याचा वापर होणार असल्यामुळे शहरातून निघणारे सांडपाणी शून्य टक्क्यांवर जाईल व गोसीखुर्द प्रदूषित होणार नाही. आज नागनदीमुळे गोसीखुर्दचे पाणी प्रदूषित होत आहे. याउपरही जर शिष्टमंडळाचे समाधान होणार नाही, तोपर्यंत कोणताही निर्णय घेणार नाही, असेही ऊर्जामंत्री म्हणाले. या चर्चेत विदर्भ कनेक्टचे अध्यक्ष अॅड. मुकेश समर्थ, सुधीर पालीवाल, नितीन रोंधे, राजीव जगताप, डॉ. जेरील बानाईत, डॉ. घोष, आर्कि. परमजितसिंग आहुजा आदी सहभागी झाले होते.
Nagpur : Central Railway’s Nagpur Division plans to introduce Multiple Electrical Mainline Unit (MEMU) rake as replacement for passenger trains on its congested routes. Division has recently got eight coaches and trials for the same are expected to start soon, said a senior official. The most ideal route is Nagpur-Wardha, a distance of 75 kms, given the congestion the MEMU fits the bill as saving on time translates into additional path that is need of the hour. The rake sporting is currently stabled at Ajni Yard and same is manufactured at Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai.
Railway Board had few years back adopted a policy to withdraw conventional coaches of passenger trains and run fast moving MEMU train on those routes. For division however the problem is there is travellers on Nagpur-Wardha route on passenger train are in large number. At present 16 to 18 coach rake is plying on the route and still failing to meet the demand of commuters. Hence administration is in double mind whether to start with eight coaches MEMU in the beginning as they have doubts if it can meet the demand. Therefore decision is not yet made where to run the MEMU, as within that numbers it could ply on Nagpur-Narkher route also.
MEMU trains are norms in Mumbai suburban section and main advantage with it is that they offer faster movement and maximum reliability. As engines are in-built the need for reversal, attachment-detachment exercise stands eliminated. Owing to faster acceleration there is no limit to stoppages on the route that would cut down the travel time on Nagpur-Wardha route where maximum demand exists as of date.
At present with conventional haulage by engines, travel time to Wardha ex-Nagpur is around one and half hours while with MEMU 15 to 30 minutes times can be easily slashed off. The grey-blue combination coaches self operated doors is most ideal and could also ensure multiple services owing to savings on time front. For commuters also the faster travel time offers immense benefit and it could also spur development of housing colonies on outskirts of city.
नागपूर : नागपूर, अकोला, वाशीम, धुळे व नंदूरबार जिल्ह्यातील पंचायत समित्या तसेच जिल्हा परिषदा राज्य सरकारने बरखास्त केल्यानंतर आता निवडणूक आयोगाने निवडणुकांची तयारी सुरू केली आहे. मंगळवारी आयोगातर्फे या पाचही जिल्ह्यांच्या जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांची व्हिडीओ कॉन्फरन्स आयोजित करण्यात आली होती.
जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयांची या निवडणुकांसाठीची तयारी पूर्ण झालेली आहे की नाही, याचा आढावा या कॉन्फरन्स दरम्यान घेण्यात आला तसेच सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाच्या आदेशांनुसार, जिल्हा परिषद निवडणुकांचा कार्यक्रम जाहीर होणार असल्याच्या सूचना यावेळी संबंधित जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांना देण्यात आल्या. यावरून जिल्हा परिषदेच्या निवडणुका लवकरच लागणार असे संकेत दिसून येत आहे. त्यामुळे कधीही आचारसंहिता लागू शकते, अशी चर्चा मंगळवारी जिल्हा परिषदेच्या वर्तुळात होती.
सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाच्या दणक्यानंतर राज्य सरकारने तातडीने या जिल्हा परिषदा आणि त्याअंतर्गत येणाऱ्या पंचायत समित्यांचा कार्यकाळ संपुष्टात आणला तसेच त्या बरखास्त केल्या. या सर्वच जिल्हा परिषदांवर प्रशासक नेमण्यात आला. राज्य सरकारने तसा आदेशच काढला. नागपूर जिल्हा परिषदेला सुमारे सव्वादोन वर्षांची मुदतवाढ मिळाली होती, हे विशेष. त्यामुळे पुढील ३० दिवसांमध्ये जिल्हा परिषदांच्या निवडणूका घ्या, असे निर्देश सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने दिले आहेत. आज राज्य निवडणूक आयोगाच्या आयुक्तांनी पाचही जि. प.च्या जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांशी व्हिडीओ कॉन्फरन्सद्वारे संपर्क साधून आढावा घेतला. यावरून निवडणूक आयोग लवकरच निवडणुकीचा कार्यक्रम घोषित करणार असल्याचे संकेत आहेत.
जुन्याच सर्कल रचना कायम
आजवर या निवडणुकीसाठी तीनदा सर्कल रचना व आरक्षणाची सोडत झाली आहे. अलीकडेच मे महिन्यात ही प्रक्रिया तिसऱ्यांदा पार पडली. त्यामुळे मे महिन्यात काढण्यात आलेल्या आरक्षणानुसारच निवडणुका होण्याची शक्यता आहे.
नागपूर : गणेशपेठ मध्यवर्ती बसस्थानकाजवळील केक लिंकचे मालक ललित कारेमोरे यांना मारहाण करून त्यांच्याकडील रोख हिसकावणाऱ्या दोन लुटारुंना गणेशपेठ पोलिसांनी आर्वी येथे अटक केली. शुभम नरेश ताजने व विक्रांत मोतीलाल शेडमाके दोन्ही रा. राणी दुर्गावती चौक, असे अटकेतील लुटारुंची नावे आहेत.
२० जुलैला मोटरसायकलवर आलेल्या दोन लुटारुंनी कारेमोरे यांना मारहाण करून त्यांच्याकडील रोख रकमेची पिशवी हिसकावली व पसार झाले. याप्रकरणी गणेशपेठ पोलिसांनी जबरी चोरीचा गुन्हा दाखल केला. वरिष्ठ पोलिस निरीक्षक सुनील गांगुर्डे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली उपनिरीक्षक उल्हास राठोड, हेडकॉन्स्टेबल पंकज बोराटे, शिपाई अजय गिरडकर, चंदू ठाकरे, सुनित गुजर, शरद चांभारे, हितेश राठोड व विशाल ठाकूर यांनी लुटारुंचा शोध सुरू केला. लुटारु आर्वी येथे असल्याची माहिती पोलिसांना मिळाली. पोलिसांचे पथक आर्वी येथे गेले. सापळा रचून दोघांना अटक केली. अटकेतील लुटारुंकडून आणखीही काही गुन्हे उघडकीस येण्याची शक्यता आहे.
नागपूर : सदरमधील मंगळवारी बाजारात फळ-भाजी दलालाची रॉड व सत्तूरने वार करून निर्घृण हत्या करण्यात आली. ही थरारक घटना मंगळवारी रात्री ८.३० वाजताच्या सुमारास उघडकीस आली. तब्बल एक तासापर्यंत दलालाचा मृतदेह बाजारातच पडून होता. मात्रही कोणीही पोलिसांना माहिती दिली नाही. सुभाष मोहुर्ले वय २३ रा. शिवाजीनगर, महाल, असे मृताचे नाव आहे.
पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, सुभाष हा दलाल होता. भाजीविक्रेत्यांकडून पैसे घेण्यासाठी रात्री तो मंगळवारी बाजारात आला. याचदरम्यान चार युवकांनी त्याच्यावर रॉड व सत्तूरने हल्ला केला. रक्ताच्या थारोळ्यात तो खाली कोसळला. त्यानंतरही मारेकऱ्यांनी त्याच्यावर शस्त्राने वार केले व पसार झालेत. घटनेच्या एका तासानंतर सदर पोलिसांना या हत्येची माहिती मिळाली. माहिती मिळताच सदर पोलिस व गुन्हेशाखेचा ताफा तेथे पोहोचला. पंचनामा करून सदर पोलिसांनी मृतदेह मेयो हॉस्पिटलकडे रवाना केला. इमामवाड्यातील रिंकू नावाच्या युवकाने साथीदारांच्या मदतीने सुभाषची हत्या केल्याची माहिती आहे. पोलिसांचे पथक इमामवाड्यात रात्री उशिरापर्यंत रिंकू याचा शोध घेत होते. सुभाषच्या हत्येचे कारण स्पष्ट झाले नाही. सदर पोलिसांनी हत्येचा गुन्हा दाखल करून मारेकऱ्यांचा शोध सुरू केला आहे.
मामाच्या दुकानामागेच हत्या
मंगळवारी बाजार परिसरात सुभाषच्या मामाचे दुकान आहे. त्याच्या मामाच्या दुकानामागेच सुभाषची हत्या करण्यात आली. पोलिस पोहोचल्यानंतरच मामाला सुभाष याची हत्या झाल्याचे कळले. भर बाजारात हे हत्याकांड घडले. मात्र बाजारातील एकाही दुकानदाराला या घटनेबाबत अथवा मारेकऱ्याबाबत कोणतीही माहिती नसल्याने पोलिसांनीही आश्चर्य व्यक्त केले.

नागपूर : कोट्यवधी रुपयांचे कर्ज झाल्याने शहरातील बड्या औषध व्यापाऱ्याने गळफास घेऊन आत्महत्या केली. तहसीलमधील निकालस मंदिराजवळील कीर्ती अपार्टमेंटमध्ये सोमवारी सकाळी ही घटना उघडकीस आली.
विनोद चिमनदास रामानी (वय ४४) असे मृताचे नाव आहे. त्यांची निकालस मंदिर, सतरंजीपुरा व वर्धमाननगर भागात अॅपेक्स नावाने सात औषधविक्रीची दुकाने आहेत. मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, विनोद यांनी औषध व्यापाऱ्यासह चित्रपट व अन्य व्यवसायात गुंतवणूक करण्यासाठी सावकारांकडून सुमारे १० कोटी रुपयांपेक्षा अधिक कर्ज घेतले होते. दरम्यान, व्यवसायात नुकसान झाल्याने विनोद यांची आर्थिक परिस्थिती खालावली. सावकरांना कर्ज आणि व्याजाची परतफेड करण्यास ते असमर्थ ठरले. त्यामुळे गत पाच महिन्यांपासून ते तणावात होते.
शनिवारी सकाळी विनोद यांचा त्यांच्या पत्नी भावना यांच्यासोबत वाद झाला. त्यामुळे भावना या दोन अपत्यांसह माहेरी जरीपटका येथे गेल्या. त्यानंतर भावना यांनी विनोद यांच्या मोबाइलवर संपर्क साधला. मात्र, प्रतिसाद मिळाला नाही. सोमवारी सकाळी भावना या घरी परतल्या. फ्लॅटमधून दुर्गंधी येत होती. भावना यांनी नातेवाइकांना माहिती दिली. माहिती मिळताच नातेवाइक तेथे पोहोचले. नातेवाइक व शेजाऱ्यांच्या मदतीने फ्लॅटचा दरवाजा तोडण्यात आला.
फ्लॅटमध्ये जाताच विनोद हे पंख्याला गळफास लावलेले दिसले. या घटनेची माहिती तहसील पोलिसांना देण्यात आली. माहिती मिळताच तहसील पोलिसांचा ताफा तेथे पोहोचला. पंचनामा करून मृतदेह उत्तरीय तपासणीसाठी मेयो हॉस्पिटलकडे रवाना केला. विनोद यांनी शनिवारीच आत्महत्या केल्याची शक्यता पोलिसांनी वर्तविली आहे. तहसील पोलिसांनी आकस्मिक मृत्यूची नोंद करून तपास सुरू केला आहे.
सावकारांच्या धमकीमुळे होते त्रस्त !
विनोद यांना एक सावकार पैसे परत करण्यासाठी सतत त्रास देत होता. पैसे परत न केल्यास ‘तुझा जीव घेईल’, अशी धमकीही या सावकाराने विनोद यांना दिली होती. या सावकाराचे पैसे परत करण्यासाठी विनोद यांनी एक दुकान पाच कोटी रुपयांमध्ये विक्रीलाही काढले होते. सावकाराचा छळ असह्य झाल्याने विनोद यांनी आत्महत्या केल्याची चर्चा परिसरात होती.
नागपूर : डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या १२५ व्या जयंती वर्षानिमित्त अनुसूचित जाती व नवबौद्ध घटकासाठी ऐतिहासिक व सांस्कृतिकदृष्ट्या महत्त्व असलेल्या स्थळांचा विकास करण्यात येत आहे. मंजूर करण्यात आलेल्या २८ ऐतिहासिक स्थळांचा विकास करण्यासाठी आता पाऊल टाकण्यात आले. काही स्थळांच्या विकास कामांना सुरुवात झाली असल्याचे समितीचे सदस्य आणि कास्ट्राइबचे अध्यक्ष कृष्ण इंगळे यांनी सांगितले.
ऐतिसासिक वास्तूंना व सेवाभावी संस्थांना अनुदान मंजूर करण्यापूर्वी मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे व मानके ठरविण्यासाठी समिती गठित करण्यात आली होती. समाजकल्याण विभागाच्या संचालकांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली ही समिती नेमण्यात आली होती. कास्ट्राइबचे अध्यक्ष कृष्णा इंगळे या समितीत सदस्य आहेत. या समितीने २०११ ते २०१५ या काळात ४३ स्थळांना भेटी दिल्या. यापैकी २८ स्थळांच्या विकास प्राधान्याने करण्यात येत असून काही स्थळांच्या कामांना सुरुवातही झाली असल्याचे इंगळे यांनी सांगितले.
या स्थळांचा होणार विकास
बुलडाणा जिल्ह्यातील पातुर्डा येथील बुद्धविहार व परिसराच्या नूतनीकरणासाठी ९९ लाख ९२ हजार रुपयांचा निधी मंजूर करण्यात आला आहे. या गावात डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी मुक्काम केला होता. ऐतिहासिक स्थळांचे संवर्धन व्हावे, स्मारक तयार व्हावे या उद्देशाने हे काम हाती घेण्यात आले. बुलडाणा जिल्ह्यातील चोखोबांचे गाव मेव्हणा राजा, दोन दिवस डॉ. आंबेडकर यांनी मुक्काम केलेले गडचिरोली जिल्ह्यातील दीक्षाभूमी वडसा, देसाईगंज हे ठिकाण, डॉ. बाबासाहेबांची पहिली सभा झालेले कोल्हापूर जिल्ह्यातील माणगाव, रत्नागिरी जिल्ह्यातील वणंद, ठाणे जिल्ह्यातील आंबेटेंबे या गावांसह एकूण २८ ऐतिसाहिक स्थळांवर ३३ कोटी ७८ लाख ६ हजार २४७ रुपये खर्च करण्यात येणार असल्याचे इंगळे यांनी सांगितले.
३१ जुलैला बैठक
ऐतिहासिक स्थळांचा विकास व्हावा, यासाठी येत्या ३१ जुलै रोजी बुलडाणा जिल्ह्यातील संग्रामपूर तालुक्यातील पातुर्डा येथे महत्त्वपूर्ण बैठकीचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. विकास कामांना गती मिळावी, यावर या बैठकीत भर देण्यात येणार असल्याचे इंगळे यांनी सांगितले. ४१ ऐतिहासिक स्थळांपैकी प्रलंबित असलेल्या १३ प्रस्तावांवरही या बैठकीत चर्चा होणार आहे. निधी मंजूर झाल्याने विकासकामांना गती मिळाली. समाजात नवचैतन्य निर्माण झाले असल्याचे इंगळे यांनी सांगितले.
नागपूर : नागपूर शहर आणि नागपूर शहराला पाणी पुरवठा करणाऱ्या नवेगाव खैरी क्षेत्रात पावसाने दडी मारल्याने नागपूर शहरावर पिण्याच्या पाण्याचे संकट आले आहे. यातून मार्ग काढण्यासाठी आठवड्यापूर्वी घेण्यात आलेल्या पाणी कपातीच्या निर्णयाला तूर्त एक महिना वाढविण्यात आले आहे. २२ ऑगस्टपर्यंत पाणी कपात कायम राहणार असून आठवड्यातून केवळ चार दिवसच नागपूरकरांना पिण्याचे पाणी मिळणार आहे.
पाणी कपातीचा निर्णय एक आठवड्यासाठी घेण्यात आला. ही मुदत सोमवारी (ता. २२) संपल्यानंतर छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज नवीन प्रशासकीय इमारतीतील मनपा आयुक्त कार्यालय सभागृहात पदाधिकारी आणि अधिकाऱ्यांची तातडीची बैठक बोलविण्यात आली. बैठकीला उपमहापौर दीपराज पार्डीकर, स्थायी समिती सभापती प्रदीप पोहाणे, प्रभारी आयुक्त रवींद्र ठाकरे, जलप्रदाय समितीचे सभापती पिंटू झलके, उपसभापती भगवान मेंढे, अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम जोशी, जलप्रदाय विभागाच्या कार्यकारी अभियंता श्वेता बॅनर्जी, अधीक्षक अभियंता मनोज तालेवार, कार्यकारी अभियंता मनोज गणवीर, ओसीडब्ल्यूचे सीईओ रॉय, के.एम.पी. सिंग उपस्थित होते.
सदर बैठकीत नागपूर शहरात पाणी कपात करण्यात आल्यानंतर पाणी पुरवठ्यात आलेल्या अडचणी, नागरिकांच्या तक्रारी, दूषित पाण्याची समस्या, नागरिकांची भूमिका आदींची समीक्षा करण्यात आली. प्रभारी आयुक्त रवींद्र ठाकरे आणि जलप्रदाय समितीचे सभापती पिंटू झलके यांनी मनपा जलप्रदाय विभागाच्या दहाही झोनअंतर्गत कार्य करणाऱ्या डेलिगेटस्कडून पाणी पुरवठ्यासंदर्भातील झोननिहाय स्थिती जाणून घेतली. जेथून नागरिकांच्या तक्रारी आल्या तेथे काय उपाययोजना करण्यात आली, याची माहितीही जाणून घेतली.
१२६० दशलक्ष घनमीटर पाण्याची बचत
१५ जुलैला पाणी कपातीचा निर्णय घोषित करण्यात आला. १७ जुलै, १९ जुलै आणि २१ जुलै रोजी शहरातील नागरिकांना पाणी देण्यात आले नाही. केवळ चार दिवस पाणी पुरवठा करण्यात आला. पूर्वी नवेगाव खैरी जलाशयातून सरासरी ५०० दशलक्ष घनमीटर पाण्याची उचल करण्यात येत होती. पाणी कपातीच्या निर्णयानंतर ती सरासरी ३२० दशलक्ष घनमीटर झाली. अर्थात दर दिवशी १८० दशलक्ष घनमीटर पाण्याची उचल कमी करण्यात आली. यानुसार सात दिवसात १२६० दशलक्ष घनमीटर पाण्याची बचत करण्यात आल्याची माहिती जलप्रदाय विभागाच्या कार्यकारी अभियंता श्वेता बॅनर्जी यांनी दिली.
एक महिन्यासाठी पाणी कपातीचा निर्णय कायम
लांबलेला पाऊस आणि पाणीपुरवठा करणाऱ्या जलाशयातील पाण्याची स्थिती लक्षात घेता २२ जुलैपासून २२ ऑगस्टपर्यंत आठवड्यातून केवळ चार दिवस पाणी पुरवठा करण्यात येईल. बुधवार, शुक्रवार आणि रविवार पाणी पुरवठा होणार नाही, असा निर्णय प्रभारी आयुक्त रवींद्र ठाकरे आणि जलप्रदाय समितीचे सभापती पिंटू झलके यांनी घेतला. दरम्यानच्या काळात जलाशय परिसरात जर चांगला पाऊस झाला आणि पाण्याची पातळी वाढली तर ह्या निर्णयावर पुनर्विचार करण्यात येईल, अशी माहितीही यावेळी त्यांनी दिली.
जलतरण हौद, मैदानावर पाणी वापरण्यास बंदी
शहरातील सर्व जलतरण हौद, मैदान आणि सुरू असलेल्या बांधकामात पिण्याचे पाणी वापरण्यावर बंदी घालण्याचा निर्णय या बैठकीत घेण्यात आला. संबंधित ठिकाणी संबंधित संस्थेने, मालकाने त्यांनी निर्माण केलेल्या स्त्रोतातून पाणी वापरण्यास मनपाची हरकत नाही. मात्र, शहराला जे पाणी पिण्यासाठी पुरविण्यात येते ते पाणी वापरताना आढळले तर फौजदारी कारवाई करण्यात येईल, असा इशारा यावेळी सभापती पिंटू झलके यांनी दिला.
सर्व सरकारी कार्यालयांना पत्र
नागपूर शहरात असलेल्या विविध सरकारी कार्यालयात, शासकीय संस्थांमध्ये मनपातर्फे पाणी पुरविण्यात येते. मात्र अनेक ठिकाणी पाण्याचे लिकेजेस आहेत. अशा संस्थांना, कार्यालयांना मनपातर्फे पत्र देऊन तेथील पाणी पुरवठा करणाऱ्या पाईप, नळाची दुरुस्ती तातडीने करण्याची विनंती करण्यात आली आहे. शहरातील शैक्षणिक संस्था, मंगल कार्यालये, हॉटेल्स, हॉस्पीटल्स आदी ठिकाणचे पाईप, नळसुद्धा तपासण्याचे निर्देश यावेळी प्रभारी आयुक्त रवींद्र ठाकरे आणि सभापती पिंटू झलके यांनी दिले.
बैठकीतील निर्देश आणि महत्त्वाचे निर्णय
– शहरातील सर्व मंगल कार्यालय, मोठ्या संस्था, हॉटेल्स, हॉस्पीटल्स यांचे कनेक्शन चेक करण्याचे निर्देश
– अवैधरीत्या टुल्लु पंप वापऱणाऱ्यांवर कडक कारवाईचे निर्देश
– जलतरण तलाव, मैदान आणि बांधकामात पिण्याचे पाणी वापरण्यावर बंदी
– तसे आढळल्यास फौजदारी कारवाई
– पाणी पुरवठा ज्या दिवशी बंद राहील त्या दिवशी नॉन-नेटवर्क एरियामध्ये टँकर मिळणार नाही
नागपूर : मनपाच्या अतिक्रमणविरोधी पथकाने सोमवारी कारवाई करीत शहरातील अनधिकृत ११ प्रार्थनास्थळे पाडले, तर महाल झोनमधील इतवारी शहीद चौकातील एक जीर्ण घर तोडण्यास सुरुवात केली. न्यायालयाने दिलेल्या निर्देशांनुसार शहरातील अनधिकृत प्रार्थनास्थळांवरील कारवाईने आता वेग घेतला आहे.
आज पाडण्यात आलेल्या अनधिकृत प्रार्थनास्थळांमध्ये राहुलनगरातील हनुमान मंदिर, अंबिकानगरातील नाग मंदिर, एफसीआय गोडाऊनजवळील गोसाई महाराज मंदिर, प्रेमनगर, सुळे महिला शाळेमागील शिव मंदिर व हनुमान मंदिर, परसोडी गावठाण येथील हनुमान मंदिर, आयटी पार्क भिंतीलगतचे शिवमंदिर, जयताळा येथील शिव मंदिर, चुनाभट्टी ओट्याजवळील नाग शिव मंदिर, अजनी रेल्वे कंपाऊंडजवळील हनुमान मंदिर, आदी मंदिरांचा समावेश आहे. कारवाईत लक्ष्मीनगर झोनचे सहायक आयुक्त राजू भिवगडे यांच्या उपस्थितीत नागपूर तहसिलदार कार्यालयातील अधिकारी सुनील साळवे, नायब तहसिलदार योगीता यादव, मंडळ अधिकारी राजेश देठे आदी उपस्थित होते.
दुसऱ्या पथकाने इतवारी शहीद चौकातील रितेश श्रीकृष्णराव पाटील यांचे जीर्ण घर पाडण्याची कारवाई करण्यात आली. १८ जुलै, २०१९ रोजी हे घर पाडण्याची नोटीस बजावण्यात आली होती. परंतु, घर पाडण्याची कारवाई करण्यात न आल्याने मनपाच्या पथकाने ही कारवाई केली. आजच्या कारवाईत इमारतीच्या दुसऱ्या माळ्यायावरील टिनाचे छत व समोरील भागाची व मागील बाजूच्या भिंती पाडण्यात आल्या. सहायक आयुक्त(प्रवर्तन) अशोक पाटील, प्रवर्तन निरीक्षक संजय कांबळे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात पथकाने ही कारवाई केली.
नागपूर : रात्री उशिरापर्यंत सुरू असलेला डीजे बंद करण्यास सांगितल्याने २५ युवकांनी पोलिसांना धक्काबुक्की करून त्यांच्यावर तूफान दगडफेक केली. यात पाच पोलिस कर्मचारी जखमी झाले. ही खळबळजनक घटना महालमधील नाईक रोडवर रविवारी रात्री ११ वाजताच्या सुमारास घडली. या घटनेने परिसरात मोठा तणाव निर्माण झाला होता. पोलिसांनी गैरकायद्याची मंडळी जमवून हल्ला करणे तसेच शासकीय कामात अडथळा निर्माण केल्याचा गुन्हा दाखल करून एका हल्लेखोराला अटक केली.
निखिल प्रकाश मडावी (वय २७, रा. तेलीपुरा, सिरसपेठ) असे अटकेतील हल्लेखोराचे नाव आहे. सूत्रधार साहिल भोसले (वय २०), हिमांशू भोसले व त्याचे २२ साथीदार फरार आहेत. साहिल व हिमांशूवर यापूर्वीही मारहाणीचे गुन्हे दाखल आहेत.
पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, रविवारी साहिलचा वाढदिवस होता. यासाठी त्याने घरी मित्रांसाठी पार्टी आयोजित केली. पार्टीत डीजे वाजविण्यात येत होता. रात्री ११ वाजतापर्यंत डीजे सुरू असल्याने एका नागरिकाने पोलिस नियंत्रण कक्षाकडे तक्रार केली. कक्षाने कोतवाली पोलिसांना नाईक रोडवर जाण्यास सांगितले. पोलिस शिपाई दिनेश भागवत गजभिये हे तेथे गेले. त्यांनी साहिलला डीजे बंद करण्यास सांगितला. साहिल, हिमांशू व त्याच्या साथीदारांनी दिनेश यांना धक्काबुक्की करून शिवीगाळ सुरू केली. दिनेश यांनी बिनतारी संदेश यंत्रणेद्वारे या घटनेची माहिती नियंत्रण कक्षाला दिली. याबाबत कळताच पोलिस उपनिरीक्षक ए. एस. टोपले यांच्यासह पोलिसांचा ताफा तेथे पोहोचला.
साहिल, हिमांशू व त्याच्या साथीदारांनी टोपले व त्यांच्या सहकाऱ्यांनाही शिवीगाळ करीत धक्काबुक्की केली. टोपले यांनी नियंत्रण कक्षाला माहिती देत अतिरिक्त पोलिसांचा ताफा मागविला. अतिरिक्त ताफा पोहोचण्यापूर्वी साहिल व त्याच्या साथीदारांनी पोलिसांवर तूफान दगडपेक केली. यात दिनेश, टोपले यांच्यासह पाचजण जखमी झाले. पोलिसांचा अतिरिक्त ताफा तेथे पोहोचताच हल्लेखोर पसार झाले. मात्र, पोलिसांनी निखिल याला पकडले. पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल करून हिमांशू, साहिल व त्याच्या साथीदारांचा शोध सुरू केला आहे.
