नागपूर: अभिनेता विद्युत जामवाल याने चीनमध्ये झालेल्या ‘जॅकी चॅन आंतरराष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार’ सोहळ्यात दोन पुरस्कारांवर नाव कोरलं आहे. विद्युतला ‘जंगली’ सिनेमासाठी सर्वोत्कृष्ट अॅक्शन सिक्वेन्स दिग्दर्शक आणि सर्वोत्कृष्ट अॅक्शन फॅमिली फिल्म असे दोन पुरस्कार मिळाले आहेत.
‘अॅक्शन चित्रपटांची दखल घेतल्या जाणाऱ्या चीनमध्ये जगातील सर्वोत्तम अॅक्शन पुरस्कार सोहळ्यात गौरव होणं ही माझ्यासाठी खूप मोठी गोष्ट आहे’, असं विद्युतनं सांगितलं. जॅकी चॅन पुरस्कार सोहळा हा अॅक्शन चित्रपटांसाठीचा ऑक्सर असल्याची भावना विद्युतनं यावेळी व्यक्त केली.
जॅकी चॅन आंतरराष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार सोहळ्यात तब्बल १५० हून अधिक सिनेमांचा समावेश होता. यात भारतीय चित्रपटाचा गौरव होणं ही देशासाठी अभिमानाची गोष्ट असल्याचंही विद्युत म्हणाला.
‘भारतात अॅक्शन चित्रपटांना चाहता वर्ग मिळणं तसं कठीण आहे. पण ‘जंगली’ सिनेमा अॅक्शनसोबतच कौटुंबिक सिनेमा असल्याने चाहत्यांनी चित्रपटाला तुफान प्रतिसाद दिला. चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शक विनीत जैन आणि प्रिती सहानी यांनी जंगली चित्रपटातून भारताला जागतिक स्तरावरील अॅक्शन चित्रपटांच्या यादीत नेऊन ठेवलं यासाठी त्यांचे मी आभार व्यक्त करतो’, असं विद्युत म्हणाला.
नागपूर : शिवसेनेचे युवासेना प्रमुख आदित्य ठाकरे यांना राज्याचे उपमुख्यमंत्रिपद देण्यास आम्ही कधीही तयार आहोत. आदित्य हे ठाकरे घराण्यातील निवडणूक लढवणारे पहिलेच असतील आणि ते सरकारमध्ये सहभागी झाल्यास आम्हाला आनंदच होईल, असे वक्तव्य मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी केले आहे. या वेळी भारतीय जनता पक्षाला अभूतपूर्व यश मिळणार असल्याचाही पुनरुच्चार त्यांनी केला.
‘महा जनादेश यात्रे’ दरम्यान बोलताना आदित्य ठाकरे यांच्याबाबत विचारलेल्या प्रश्नाचे उत्तर देताना फडणवीस यांनी हे मत व्यक्त केले आहे. यावेळी त्यांनी विविध विषयांवर आपली मते व्यक्त केली. गेल्या वेळी २०१४ मध्ये शिवसेनेच युती तोडण्याचा निर्णय घेतला होता. त्यावेळी भारतीय जनता पक्षाने १४४ जागा लढवून १२२ जागा जिंकल्या होत्या. आता अर्ध्या जागा घेऊन काही मित्रपक्षांनाही देण्याचा आमचा मानस आहे. आता आम्ही किती जागा जिंकू ते नक्की सांगता येणार नाही, मात्र यावेळचा विजय ऐतिहासिक असेल इतके नक्की, असेही फडणवीस म्हणाले.
भाजप-शिवसेना युती होणारच !
आगामी विधानसभा निवडणुकीत काहीही झाले तरी भाजप-शिवसेना युती होणारच हे स्पष्ट आहे. आम्ही मोठा पक्ष असलो तरी मित्रपक्षाला बाजूला सारायचे ही आमची नीती नाही. आम्ही समान जागांवर लढणार आहोत. या जागा १३० ते १४० इतक्या असतील. उर्वरित जागा आम्हाला मित्रपक्षांनाही द्यायच्या आहेत.
या पुढील निवणूक आम्ही केवळ विकास याच मुद्द्यावर लढवणार असल्याचे फडणवीस म्हणाले. आम्ही राज्यातल्या जनतेला चांगले सरकार दिले असून आमच्यावर विश्वास ठेवावा असे जनतेला वाटत असल्याचेही फडणवीस म्हणाले.
‘आता लावलाय हाऊसफुल्लचा बोर्ड’
मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस पुढे म्हणाले की, ‘भाजपमधील इतर पक्षांमधील नेत्यांच्या प्रवेशाला महा भरती असे म्हणणे योग्य नाही. आणि आता तर आम्ही आमच्या दरवाज्यांपुढे हाऊसफुल्लचा बोर्ड लावला आहे. मात्र असे असले तरी देखील काही व्हीआयपी नेत्यांना आम्ही पक्षप्रवेश देणार आहोत. मात्र हे नेते स्वच्छ चारित्र्यांचे असायला हवेत. तसेच त्यांनी जनतेची कामे केलेली असली पाहिजेत. येत्या काही दिवसांमध्ये आणखी काही मोठ्या नेत्यांचा प्रवेश भाजपमध्ये होणार आहे’.
नागपूर : महानिर्मितीच्या कोराडी औष्णिक विद्युत प्रकल्पात ६६० मेगावॉटचे दोन संच असलेला प्रकल्प प्रस्तावित आहे. त्यामुळे नागपुरात प्रदूषण वाढून नागरिकांच्या आरोग्याचे प्रश्न गंभीर होणार आहेत. हा मुद्दा उपस्थित करत विविध पर्यावरणवादी संघटनांनी गुरुवारी केंद्रीय वने, पर्यावरण व हवामान बदल समितीपुढे या प्रकल्पाला कडाडून विरोध दर्शवला. समितीचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. एन. पी. शुक्ला यांना याबाबत निवेदनही सादर करण्यात आले.
केंद्रीय वने, पर्यावरण व हवामान बदल समितीच्या पाच सदस्यांनी कोराडी आणि खापरखेडा प्रकल्पांची पाहणी केल्यानंतर प्रदूषण कमी करणारी एफजीडी यंत्रणा लावण्याचे निर्देश वारंवार दिल्यानंतर ती न लावण्यात आल्याने नाराजी व्यक्त केली. त्याचबरोबर प्रकल्पातून निघणाऱ्या फ्लाय अॅशचे नियोजन, प्रकल्पाच्या परिसरातील आजूबाजूच्या गावांमध्ये झालेला परिणाम याची माहिती घेण्यात आली.
समितीमध्ये यावेळी केंद्रीय समितीचे सदस्य गुरुराज कुंदरगी, डॉ. एस. के. पालीवाल, शास्त्रज्ञ डॉ. एस. के. अडप्पा, एन. सुब्रमण्यम उपस्थित होते. त्याचबरोबर विदर्भ कनेक्ट, व्ही कॅन, संघर्ष जगण्याचा जनआंदोलन चळवळ यासह इतरही पर्यावरणवादी संस्थांकडून अॅड. मुकेश समर्थ, संदेश सिंगलकर, सुधील पालीवाल, प्रा. अवंतिका लेकुरवाळे, चंद्रगुप्त समर्थ, नितीन रोंगे, गोविंद डागा, ओ.पी. मिगलानी, विपुल इंगळे यांनी हा विरोध दर्शवला. यावेळी अॅड. मुकेश समर्थ म्हणाले, कोराडी प्रकल्पात २०१० मध्ये प्रदूषण कमी करणारी एफजीडी यंत्रणा लावायला सांगितल्यावरही ती लावण्यात आली नाही.
वीजनिर्मिती जास्त असल्याने येथे प्रदूषणही जास्त आहे. येथील वीज इतरत्र पाठवली जात असल्याने वीजहानी वाढते. त्यातच नाशिकसह इतरही काही प्रकल्पात नवीन संच लावणे शक्य आहे. बंद पडलेल्या वीजनिर्मिती प्रकल्पातूनही वीजनिर्मितीचे प्रयत्न गरजेचे आहेत. कोराडीत आधीच प्रदूषण जास्त असताना नवीन प्रकल्पाने स्थिती आणखी बिघडण्याचा धोका असल्याची भीती व्यक्त केली.
दुसरीकडे वीज प्रकल्पातून निघणाऱ्या राखेचा उद्योगांसाठी वापर करण्यात येईल, त्यावर आधारित उद्योग सुरू करण्यात येईल, असे सांगण्यात येत असले तरी राखेचे अजूनही पूर्णपणे नियोजन होत नसल्याचे सुधीर पालीवाल यांनी स्पष्ट केले. उचल होणाऱ्या राखेचा कृषीसाठी नियमबाह्य वापर होऊन प्रदूषणाचा प्रश्न उपस्थित होतो. येथे प्रकल्प लावण्यापेक्षा नाशिकमध्ये तो लावावा. तेथे १०० टक्के राखेची उचल असल्याने प्रदूषण कमी होईल. त्यातच कोराडी प्रकल्पात तीन स्तरावर वृक्ष लावण्याच्या सूचनेचे महानिर्मितीने पालन केले नसल्याकडेही त्यांनी लक्ष वेधले.
संदेश सिंघलकर म्हणाले, देशातील सर्वाधिक कर्करुग्ण हे नागपुरात आढळत आहेत. त्याला हे प्रदूषणही कारणीभूत आहे. नवीन प्रकल्प झाल्यास प्रदूषणाचा स्तर वाढून शहरातील नागरिकांना जगणेच कठीण होईल, असेही त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले. समितीकडून पाहणी केल्यावर या दोन्ही विषयांवर दिल्लीतील बैठकीत चर्चा केली जाईल. त्यानंतरच हा अहवाल मंत्रालयाला सादर केला जाईल, असे आश्वासन समितीचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. एन. पी. शुक्ला यांनी पर्यावरणवाद्यांना दिले.
नागपूर : मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठाने २२ आठवड्यांचा अविकसित गर्भ पाडण्याची परवानगी विवाहित महिलेला दिली. सदर ऑपरेशनमुळे महिलेच्या जीवाला धोका नसल्याचा अहवाल मेडिकल बार्डाने दिला होता.
संबंधित गर्भवती महिला वर्धा जिल्ह्यातील निवासी आहे. वर्धा येथील सरकारी रुग्णालयात २९ जुलै रोजी करण्यात आलेल्या थ्रीडी स्कॅनमध्ये तिच्या गर्भाला हृदय व फुफ्फुसाचे विकार व शरीर सुजलेले आढळून आले. त्यामुळे तिने व तिच्या पतीने गर्भपाताचा निर्णय घेतला. परंतु, तोवर २० आठवड्यांचा गर्भ झाला होता. त्यास्थितीत न्यायालयीन आदेशाशिवाय गर्भपात करता येणार नाही, असे डॉक्टरांनी स्पष्ट केले. त्यामुळे विवाहितेने गर्भपाताची परवानगी मिळविण्यासाठी हायकोर्टात याचिका दखल केली. त्यावर सुनावणी करताना हायकोर्टाने मेडिकल बोर्डची स्थापना करण्याचा आदेश दिला होता.
त्यानुसार, मेडिकल बोर्ड स्थापन करून महिलेची तपासणी करण्यात आली. त्यात गर्भ विकारग्रस्त असल्याचे व जन्म झाल्यानंतर जगू शकणार नसल्याचे आढळून आले. त्यामुळे न्यायालयाने महिलेची याचिका मंजूर केली. याचिकाकर्तीतर्फे अॅड. स्विटी भाटिया यांनी बाजू मांडली.
नागपूर : भामरागड – गडचिरोलीच्या भामरागड परिसरात शुक्रवारपासून पावसाचा हाहा:कार सुरू असून पूर परिस्थिती निर्माण झाली आहे. पर्लकोटा नदीला पूर आल्याने भामरागडला चहुबाजूंनी पुराच्या पाण्याने वेढले आहे. दुकानांत आणि घरात पाणी शिरल्याने जनजीवन विस्कळीत झालं आहे.
पर्लकोटा नदीवरील पुलावरून पाणी वाहू लागल्याने वाहतूक बंद झाली आहे. तर आरेवाडा-लाहेरी मार्गसुद्ध बंद करण्यात आला आहे. प्रशासनाने सतर्कतेचा इशारा दिला असून पूर स्थिती असणाऱ्या भागातील नागरिकांना सुरक्षित ठिकाणी हलविण्यात आलं आहे.

Nagpur: Smartphone shipments in the premium segment (≥₹30,000 or roughly ≥US$430) grew an impressive 33% annually in India way above the single-digit overall smartphone shipment growth during Q2 2019. This growth was mainly driven by new flagship launches from OnePlus in terms of OnePlus 7 series, price cuts from Apple for its iPhone XR and aggressive promotions from Samsung for the Galaxy S10 series. The second quarter was the first-ever quarter when premium segment had the highest number of models, offering a wide variety of choice for consumers. As a result, the total shipment volumes in the premium segment reached an all-time high.
Commenting on the report, Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India said, “OnePlus focuses on offering the premium technology experience. Our user-driven product philosophy has helped us sustain our remarkable growth despite the slowdown in the industry. We are especially excited about growing the premium smartphone segment that is under-penetrated for several years with less than 5% share of the total smartphone segment”.
As more brands such as Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, and Huawei enter this segment, this segment is going to be hyper-competitive in the second half of 2019, great for consumers. Looking at the competitive landscape, the combined share of OnePlus, Samsung and Apple was 85% during the quarter down from 88% level a year ago, signaling this trend.
OnePlus saw a strong uptake of its flagship OnePlus 7-series regaining the top spot back after falling behind Samsung in Q1 2019. OnePlus captured its highest ever shipment share of 43% in this segment widening the gap with Samsung and Apple. OnePlus continues to offer premium flagship features to Indian consumers at affordable prices. Having said that, with multiple model strategy, OnePlus debuted into the ultra-premium segment (≥₹45,000 or roughly ≥US$645) with OnePlus 7 Pro and immediately captured 26% share. This ultra-premium segment is a subset of the overall premium segment and usually led by Samsung and Apple. With healthy sales of Samsung Galaxy S10-series, OnePlus 7 Pro and Apple iPhone XR the volumes in this segment almost doubled.
Samsung dropped to the second position in overall premium-segment holding 22% share with volumes declining 16% YoY. However, promotions for the S10 series remain strong. Galaxy S10 Plus was the top model for Samsung despite the availability of cheaper Galaxy S10e. This shows that India consumers are ready to pay more for a premium experience
Apple’s volumes in this segment doubled annually in Q2 2019 driven by iPhone XR thanks to the price correction in April. Apple is also doubling down on its efforts to localize local manufacturing which will help them save 20% on import duties and can potentially pass on to consumers or use it to build its retail footprint and upcoming festive season discounting/marketing.
As Indian smartphone consumers become more mature and are looking to buy their second or third smartphone, the premium segment is becoming a key battleground to acquire these premium consumers. The new brands to watch out which could disrupt with premium features with offerings lurking around (≥₹30,000 or roughly ≥US$430) price points are Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, and Asus lowering the barriers for consumers with aggressive flagship-grade offerings.
नागपूर : एका व्यक्तीला देखील दहशतवादी घोषित करून त्यांची मालमत्ता जप्त करण्याचा अधिकार सरकारी यंत्रणांना देणारे बेकायदा कृत्य प्रतिबंधक (दुरुस्ती) विधेयक २०१९ आज राज्यसभेत मंजूर झाले. मोठ्या वादविवादानंतर मंजूर झालेल्या या विधेयकाच्या बाजूनं १४७, तर विरोधात ४२ मतं पडली. दहशतवादाविरोधात कठोर भूमिका घेणाऱ्या केंद्र सरकारसाठी हे मोठं यश मानलं जात आहे.
दहशतवादाच्या विरोधात १९६७ साली यूएपीए हा कायदा करण्यात आला होता. या कायद्यात एखादी संस्था व संघटनेला दहशतवादी घोषित करण्याची तरतूद होती. कुठल्याही व्यक्तीला दहशतवादी घोषित करता येत नव्हते. दहशतवादाला चिथावणी देणारे त्याचा फायदा उचलत होते. त्यांना चाप लावण्यासाठी सरकारनं या कायद्यात दुरुस्ती करणारे विधेयक मांडले. एका व्यक्तीला दहशतवादी घोषित करण्याची तरतूद दुरुस्ती विधेयकात करण्यात आली. मागील महिन्यात लोकसभेनं त्यास मंजुरी दिली होती. मात्र, राज्यसभेत यावर वादळी चर्चा झाली.
विरोधकांनी ठरावाची सूचना मांडून हे विधेयक सिलेक्ट कमिटीकडं पाठवण्याची मागणी केली होती. ही सूचना १०४ विरुद्ध ८५ मतांनी फेटाळली गेली. त्यानंतर त्यावर मतदान होऊन विधेयक मंजूर झाले.
Nagpur: World Bank figures for 2018 show that India has fallen in Gross Domestic Product rankings and is now the seventh-largest economy. The United Kingdom and France have overtaken India.
In 2018, India’s Gross Domestic Product was $2.72 trillion, while that of the United Kingdom was $2.82 trillion and France was $2.77 trillion. The top four economies in the world were the United States, with a GDP of 20.5 trillion in 2018, followed by China ($13.6 trillion), Japan ($4.9 trillion) and Germany ($3.9 trillion).
In 2017, India had emerged as the sixth-largest economy, overtaking France. The latest GDP data from the World Bank, however, showed that India had also overtaken the United Kingdom for a short period of time, according to the Business Standard. In 2017, India’s GDP was $2.65 trillion, followed by the UK at $2.64 trillion and France at $2.59 trillion. But soon after, in 2018, the economies of the UK and France expanded, the report said.
Economists said currency fluctuations and a slowdown in growth may have led to the drop in the GDP rankings. “In 2017, the rupee appreciated against the dollar, and in 2018 it depreciated against the dollar,” Chief Economist at India Ratings Devendra Pant said. “So, it is largely due to currency fluctuation and the growth slowdown.”
These figures have come at a time when India has set itself a goal of becoming a $3-trillion economy in the current financial year and a $5-trillion economy by 2024.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in, February that India would continue to be the fastest-growing large economy, and could become the second-largest economy in the world by 2030. However, in June, former Chief Economic Adviser Arvind Subramanian published an academic paper in which he claimed India’s growth was overestimated by 2.5% points per year between 2011-’12 and 2016-’17, a period when both the United Progressive Alliance and National Democratic Alliance were in power. The claim has been refuted by the Economic Advisory Council to the prime minister.
In May, India lost its tag of the fastest-growing major economy to China after the government announced that the Gross Domestic Product growth rate had declined to 5.8% in the last quarter of the financial year 2018-’19. This was the slowest pace of growth in 17 quarters.
नागपूर : वर्धा – ‘ईव्हीएम’ विरोधात विरोधकांची मोर्चेबांधणी सुरू असताना, मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी आज याच मुद्द्यावरून विरोधकांना जोरदार चिमटा काढला. ‘ईव्हीएम’ विरोधात आंदोलन करण्याऐवजी जनतेत जावं. आम्ही ही कामं करू शकलो नाही. भविष्यात ती पूर्ण करू असं सांगितलं तरी, जनतेकडून तुम्हाला किमान सहानुभूती मिळेल, असा टोला त्यांनी लगावला. ईव्हीएमच्या मुद्द्यावर विरोधकांनी एकजूट केली तरी, काही फरक पडणार नाही, असंही ते म्हणाले.
महाजनादेश यात्रेच्या निमित्तानं मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस वर्धा येथे आले होते. त्यावेळी त्यांनी माध्यमांशी संवाद साधला. दुष्काळमुक्ती हे आमचे यापुढील ध्येय असेल. महाजनादेश यात्रेच्या माध्यमातून गेल्या ५ वर्षांत केलेली कामे जनतेला सांगत आहे, असं ते म्हणाले. यावेळी त्यांनी ईव्हीएमच्या मुद्द्यावर भूमिका घेण्यासाठी एकत्र येणाऱ्या विरोधकांवर टीकास्त्र सोडलं. ईव्हीएमवर अविश्वास दाखवणं म्हणजे जनतेवर अविश्वास दाखवण्यासारखं आहे असं सांगतानाच या मुद्यावर विरोधकांची एकजूट होऊन काही फरक पडणार नाही, असं ते म्हणाले. ईव्हीएमविरोधात आंदोलन करण्याऐवजी त्यांनी जनतेत जावं. आम्हाला कामं करता आली नाहीत, भविष्यात ती करू असं सांगितलं तरी जनतेकडून तुम्हाला सहानुभूती मिळेल, असा टोलाही त्यांनी लगावला.

जागावाटपात अडचणी निश्चित आहेत. दोघांचेही नुकसान होईल. पण एकत्र येऊन लढायचे ठरवले की, काही गोष्टी सोडाव्या लागतात, असं सांगून आगामी विधानसभा निवडणुकीत भाजप-शिवसेना युतीला अभूतपूर्व विजय मिळेल, असा विश्वासही फडणवीस यांनी व्यक्त केला.
नागपूर: महापालिकेच्या ढिसाळ नियोजनामुळे एकीकडे नाागपूरकरांना वाहतूक कोंडीचा सामना करावा लागतो, तर दुसरीकडे मनपा प्रशासनाच्या आशीर्वादाने पे अॅण्ड पार्कच्या नावावर सुरू असलेल्या अवैध वसुलीचा भुर्दंडही सोसावा लागतो. मनपाच्या वाहतूक विभागाने गुरुवारी ‘मोठी’ कारवाई करत अवैध पार्किंगवसुली स्थळावरील फक्त फलके काढून नेली. मात्र, वसुली करणाऱ्यांविरुद्ध पोलिसांमध्ये तक्रार दाखल केली नाही. त्यामुळे पार्किंगच्या वसुलीभाईंसोबत वाहतूक विभागाची मिलीभगत स्पष्ट होत आहे.
महापालिकेच्या वाहतूक विभागाला काही महिन्यांपूर्वी माहिती अधिकार कायद्याअंतर्गंत शहरातील वैध पार्किंग स्थळांबद्दलची माहिती मागण्यात आली होती. यावेळीही विभागाकडून अर्जदाराला कुठलीही पूर्वकल्पना न देता अर्ज परस्पर मनपाच्या बाजार विभागाकडे वर्ग करण्यात आला होता. यावेळी बाजार विभागांतर्गत येणाऱ्या सायकल स्टॅण्डची माहिती देण्यात आली होती. यावेळी शहरातील मोक्याच्या ठिकाणी सुरू असलेल्या पे अॅण्ड पार्क स्थळांची माहिती लपविण्यात आली होती. त्यामुळे मनपाचे वाहतूक विभाग काय लपविण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत आहे, हा चर्चेचा विषय ठरत आहे.
पोलिसांना तक्रारीची प्रतीक्षा
एकीकडे शहरात चौका-चौकांत पोलिसांकडून वाहनचालकांवर कारवाईचा धडाका लावण्यात येत असतो. यात आम्हाला नागरिकांच्या सुरक्षेची चिंता असल्याचे पोलिस सांगतात. दुसरीकडे, मनपा आणि नासुप्रच्या जागेवर ताबा करून वसुलीभाईंकडून दिवसाढवळ्या सुरू असलेली लूट या कर्तव्यदक्ष पोलिसांना दिसत नाही का, असा संतप्त सवाल नागरिक उपस्थित करत आहेत. सीताबर्डी येथील नासुप्रचे पार्किंगतळ सीताबर्डी पोलिस ठाण्यापासून हाकेच्या अंतरावर आहे. दुसरीकडे, धंतोलीतील अवैध वसुलीस्थळ धंतोली पोलिस ठाण्यापासून काहीच मीटरच्या अंतरावर आहे. तरी पोलिसांकडून या समाजकंटकांवर कारवाई करण्यात येत नसल्याने त्यांच्या भूमिकेबद्दलही नागरिकांमध्ये संशय व्यक्त करण्यात येत आहे.

नागपुर: भाजपमध्ये गेल्या काही दिवसांत इतर पक्षांतून येणाऱ्या नेत्यांचा ओघ सुरू झाला आहे. या पार्श्वभूमीवर भाजपमध्ये जागा फुल्ल झाल्यात, आता भरती नाही, असं मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी अमरावती येथे स्पष्ट केलं. आज अमरावतीतून ‘महाजनादेश’ यात्रेला सुरुवात करून भाजपनं विधानसभा निवडणुकीचा बिगुलही फुंकला.
अमरावतीच्या गुरुकुंज मोझरीतून भाजपच्या महाजनादेश यात्रेला आजपासून सुरुवात झाली. या महाजनादेश यात्रेच्या पहिल्याच सभेत मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी गेल्या पाच वर्षात भाजप-शिवसेना युती सरकारने केलेल्या कामांची जंत्री मांडतानाच काँग्रेस-राष्ट्रवादीवर जोरदार टीका केली. यावेळी देशाचे संरक्षण मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह आणि भाजपचे प्रदेशाध्यक्ष चंद्रकांत पाटीलही उपस्थित होते. महाजनादेश यात्रेच्या माध्यमातून आम्ही महाराष्ट्रातील जनतेचा आशीर्वाद मागण्यासाठी आलो आहोत. जनता दैवत आहे. जनता मालक असून आम्ही जनतेचे सेवक आहोत, असं सांगत या जनतेचा आशीर्वाद घेऊनच आम्ही गेल्या पाच वर्षात दुप्पट-तिप्पट काम करू शकलो. आमच्या सरकारने राज्यात उद्योग आणले. आघाडीने गेल्या १५ वर्षात काय काम केलं? ते त्यांनी सांगावं, असं आव्हान त्यांनी केलं.
दुष्काळ संपवण्यासाठी महाजनादेश द्या
आम्ही गेल्या पाच वर्षात राज्यात ३० हजार किलोमीटर रस्त्याचं जाळं विणलं. हा देशातील विक्रम आहे. दीड लाख शेतकऱ्यांना वीज जोडणी देण्याचं कामही आमच्याच सरकारनं केलं. आता मुंबई-नागपूर समृद्झी महामार्गाचं कामही सुरू आहे. शेतकऱ्यांची प्रत्येक योजना आम्ही प्रामाणिकपणे राबवली आहे. त्यामुळे आम्हाला दुष्काळ संपवण्यासाठी महाजनादेश द्या, असं आवाहन फडणवीस यांनी केलं.
नागपूर : सोलापूर – केंद्रीय रस्ते वाहतूक मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांना सोलापूर विद्यापीठाच्या जाहीर कार्यक्रमात भोवळ आल्याची माहिती समोर आली आहे. गडकरी यांना जाहीर कार्यक्रमावेळी भोवळ आल्याची ही तिसरी घटना आहे. त्यामुळे त्यांच्या प्रकृतीविषयी चिंता व्यक्त केली जात आहे.
अहिल्यादेवी होळकर सोलापूर विद्यापीठाच्या कार्यक्रमात आज नितीन गडकरी उपस्थित होते. कार्यक्रमाच्या समारोपावेळी राष्ट्रगीत सुरू असताना गडकरींना भोवळ आली आणि ते खुर्चीवर बसले. राष्ट्रगीत सुरु असल्याने त्यांनी पुन्हा उभं राहण्याचा प्रयत्न देखील केला. खुर्चीवर बसल्यानंतर त्यांना औषध देण्यात आलं व काहीवेळाने त्यांना बरं वाटलं. यावेळी मंचावर सहकार मंत्री सुभाष देशमुख आणि सोलापूर विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरू उपस्थित होते. सध्या गडकरी यांची प्रकृती स्थिर असल्याचं सांगण्यात आलं असून ते कार्यक्रम स्थळाहून रवाना झाले आहेत.
याआधी नगरमधील राहुरी येथील कृषी विद्यापीठाच्या पदवीदान सोहळ्यादरम्यान भोवळ आल्याने गडकरी यांना रुग्णालयात दाखल करण्यात आले होते. ८ डिसेंबर २०१८ रोजी राहुरीत त्यांना भोवळ आली होती. त्यावेळी तिथे उपस्थित असलेले राज्यपाल विद्यासागर राव यांनी त्यांना सावरले होते. त्यानंतर शिर्डीत २७ एप्रिल २०१९ रोजी लोकसभा निवडणूक प्रचारादरम्यान सदाशिव लोखंडे यांच्या प्रचारसभेत भाषणादरम्यान ते तीन वेळा सरबत प्यायले. मात्र तब्येत जास्त बिघडत असल्याचा अंदाज आल्यानंतर त्यांनी भाषण आटोपलं. त्यानंतर ते आपल्या जागेवर बसायला जाणार तेव्हा अचानक त्यांना भोवळ आली होती.

City reacts as Triple Talaq Bill passed by Parliament :
A historic bill in favour of Muslim women was passed by Parliament on Tuesday. The bill will make instant triple talaq among Muslim community a criminal offence.
The Muslim women (Protection of rights on marriage) Bill 2019 was passed by 99 votes in favour whereas 84 votes were against the bill.
The bill was passed in the last week by Lok Sabha. Once the President approves the bill the practice of instant triple talaq will be a criminal offence and the person will be punishable with imprisonment up to the term of three years.
According to the sources the bill will replace an ordinance which was enforced as on February 21 to the same effect.
Citizens took a sigh of relief as the long awaited bill was finally passed by Parliament. This is considered as one of the historic changes made by the parliament for the empowerment of Muslim women community.

Ashraf Ali a businessman said that “the decision which was made by the government will be helpful for the women and we support the decision. This will help the women to get justice by law”.
Kabirudin Khan District President of Welfare Party India said that “we support the bill and are against the triple talaq system although government must also look into other matters as well”.
Tahseen Mirza an advocate said that “this law is perfect and will give justice to the victims of the triple talaq system. This system is not recognized in the holy book Quran and such liability must not have been given in first place”.
Hafiz Firoz Binani said that “we did not believe in the triple talaq system from the beginning. The system cannot decide the fate of any women by saying talaq thrice. We are happy that the government took a major step against the system”.
नागपूर : राज्यातील विधानसभेच्या आगामी निवडणुकीत सन २०११ च्या जनगणनेच्या आधारे अनुसूचित जाती व जमातींसाठी मतदारसंघ आरक्षित करण्याचे आदेश निवडणूक आयोगाला द्यावेत, अशी विनंती करणारी जनहित याचिका मुंबई हायकोर्टाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठासमोर सादर करण्यात आली आहे.
सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते प्रमोद तभाने यांनी दाखल केलेल्या याचिकेवर न्या. रवी देशपांडे आणि न्या. विनय जोशी यांच्या खंडपीठासमोर सुनावणी झाली. तेव्हा हायकोर्टाने याचिकेवर सुनावणी करण्यापूर्वी याचिकाकर्त्याने तीन लाख रूपये जमा करावे, सदर रक्कम जमा केल्यास निवडणूक आयोग व इतर प्रतिवादींना नोटीस देण्यात येईल, असे स्पष्ट केले. तसेच त्या नोटीसवर आठ आठवड्यात उत्तर सादर करावे, असा आदेश देण्यात आला.
याचिकाकर्त्यानुसार, देशात दर १० वर्षांनी जनगणना होते. राज्यघटनेतील कलम ३३० नुसार निवडणुकीमध्ये मागासवर्गीयांसाठर त्यांच्या लोकसंख्येच्या टक्केवारीनुसार मतदार संघ आरक्षित ठेवणे आवश्यक आहे. राज्य विधानसभेच्या १९८४ पासूनच्या आतापर्यंत झालेल्या दहा निवडणुकीत अनुसूचित जातीला ५२ आणि अनुसूचित जमातीला २२ जागा अशा एकूण ७४ जागा कमी देण्यात आलेल्या आहेत.
सन २०११ च्या जनगणनेनुसार महाराष्ट्रात ११.८१ टक्के अनुसूचित जाती व ९.३५ टक्के अनुसूचित जमातींची लोकसंख्या आहे. त्यामुळे आगामी विधानसभा निवडणुकीमध्ये अनुसूचित जाती व अनुसूचित जमाती प्रवर्गाकरिता २०११ मधील जनणगणनेनुसार मतदार संघ आरक्षित ठेवण्यात यावेत, असे याचिकेत नमूद केले आहे. दरम्यान, हायकोर्टाने तभाने यांना तीन लाख जमा करण्याचा आदेश दिला होता. त्या आदेशाचे पालन करून रक्कम जमा करण्याची पावती सादर करण्यात आली.
त्यामुळे आता याचिकेवर निवडणूक आयोगाला आठ आठवड्यात उत्तर दाखल करावे लागणार आहे. याचिकाकर्त्यातर्फे अॅड. पवन सहारे तर, निवडणूक आयोगातर्फे अॅड. नीरजा चौबे यांनी बाजू मांडली.
नागपुर: बांबूला उष्ण व दमट हवामान मानवते. उष्ण प्रदेशात बांबूची वाढ चांगली होते. त्यामुळे जगात अस्तित्वात असलेल्या बांबूच्या पंधराशे प्रजातींपैकी १२८ एकट्या भारतात आहेत. बांबू लागवडीमुळे रोजगाराचे प्रश्न सुटणार आहेत. तसेच नागपुरच्या तापमानात चार अंशानी घट होईल, असा विश्वास महाराष्ट्र बांबू विकास मंडळाचे सदस्य आनंद फिस्के यांनी व्यक्त केला.
विदर्भ इकॉनॉमिक डेव्हलपमेंट कौन्सिलतर्फे ‘बांबू लागवड आणि फायदे’ विषयावर विशेष कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. त्यावेळी फिस्के यांनी बांबू लागवडीच्या फायद्यांवर सविस्तर मार्गदर्शन केले. फिस्के म्हणाले,’भारतात बांबू लागवडीला सर्वाधिक उत्तम वातावरण आहे. चीनमध्ये बांबूच्या उपयोगातून जवळपास २६ विविध प्रकारची मूल्यवर्धीत उत्पादने तयार करण्यात येतात. भारत दरवर्षी वेगवेगळ्या उपयोगांसाठी तब्बल तीन लाख कोटी रुपयांचे लाकूड आयात करण्यात येते. याला बांबू हा उत्तम पर्याय ठरू शकतो. कागद उद्योगाला बांबूचा सर्वाधिक उपयोग होऊ शकतो. बांबूपासून तयार केलेल्या इंधनावर विमानदेखील उडू शकते. एक एकर बांबूपासून सुमारे दहा हजार लिटर इंधन मिळू शकत असल्याचे संशोधनातून सिद्ध झाले आहे. बांबूमुळे भूजल पातळी वाढण्यात मदत होते. पर्जन्यमान वाढविण्यास बांबू, वड, कडुलिंब ही वृक्ष उपयोगी आहेत. त्यामुळे मोठ्या प्रमाणावर बांबू लागवड व्हायला हवी.’ कार्यक्रमाला कौन्सिलचे अध्यक्ष शिवकुमार राव, सहसचिव दिनेश नायडू आदी प्रामुख्याने उपस्थित होते.
प्रदूषण कमी करण्यास उपयुक्त
आज जगातील प्रदूषित शहरांच्या यादीमध्ये नागपूरचा समावेश आहे. एका संशोधनानुसार, कडुलिंबामुळे पंधरा वर्षांत जितके प्रदूषण कमी होते. तितक्याच प्रमाणात बांबूमुळे प्रदूषण कमी होण्यास केवळ तीन वर्षांचा काळ लागतो. बांबू लागवडीसाठी पाणी कमी लागते. आठवड्यातून केवळ दोन वेळा पाणी दिल्यास बांबूची चांगली वाढ होते. राज्याच्या महसूल वाढीमध्ये महत्त्वाची भूमिका पार पाडणाऱ्या बांबू लागवडीसाठी सरकारनेही उत्तम धोरण तयार केले आहे. बांबू लागवडीसाठी विशेष योजनादेखील तयार करण्यात आली आहे, याचा लाभ विदर्भातील शेतकऱ्यांची घ्यायला हवा, असे आवाहन यावेळी फिस्के यांनी केले.
नागपूर : उमरेड तालुक्यातील एका फार्म हाऊसमध्ये पावसात अडकलेल्या २२ जणांची एसडीआरएफच्या (राज्य आपत्ती प्रतिसाद दल) चमूने बोटीच्या साहाय्याने सुटका केली. नांद नदी आणि वडगाव जलाशयाचे पाणी फार्म हाऊसमध्ये घुसल्याने हे २२ जण मंगळवारपासून जलवेढ्यात अडकले होते.
नागपूर जिल्ह्यात सुरू असलेल्या संततधारेमुळे नांद नदी आणि वडगाव जलाशयाची पातळीत वाढ झाली. नांद नदीचे आणि वडगाव जलाशयाचे पाणी उमरेड तालुक्यातील पिपरा गावातील एका फार्म हाउसमध्ये घुसल्याने २२ जण येथे अडकले होते. राज्य आपत्ती प्रतिसाद दलाची तुकडी, महसूल प्रशासन आणि पोलिस घटनास्थळी रवाना झाले. बुधवारी सकाळी या २२ जणांना सुखरूप बाहेर काढण्यात आले असल्याचे जिल्हा प्रशासनाकडून सांगण्यात आले.

भिवापूर आणि उमरेड तालुक्यातील चार गावांना धोक्याचा इशारा देण्यात आला होता. किछलापार, चिखली या गावातील नागरिकांना दुसऱ्या ठिकाणी हलविण्यात आले. नैसर्गिक आपत्तीपासून बचाव करण्यासाठी नागरिकांनी आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन नियंत्रण कक्षाच्या १०७७ या टोल फ्री क्रमांकाशी संपर्क साधण्याचे आवाहन जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन अधिकारी अंकुश गावंडे यांनी केले.

स्कुबा डायव्हिंगचे साहित्यच नाही
पूरपरिस्थितीत कुणी खोलगट भागात अडकले असेल किंवा डोहात अडकले असेल तर त्यांना बाहेर काढण्यासाठी स्कुबा डायव्हिंगमध्ये प्रशिक्षित असलेल्यांची गरज भासते. केवळ पोहत जाऊन त्यांना बाहेर काढणे शक्य होत नाही. राज्य आपत्ती प्रतिसाद दल म्हणजे एसडीआरएफकडे स्कुबा डायव्हिंगमध्ये प्रशिक्षित मनुष्यबळ आहे, मात्र त्यांच्याकडे स्कुबा डायव्हिंगसाठी साहित्यच नसल्याने बचाव मोहीम राबविता येत नाही. स्कुबा डायव्हिंगचे साहित्य मिळावे, यासाठी मागणी करण्यात आली आहे.
१०० लाइफ जॅकेट हवे
राज्य आपत्ती प्रतिसाद दलाकडे केवळ १२ लाइफ जॅकेट आहेत. आपत्ती निवारणासाठी किमान १०० लाइफ जॅकेटची गरज आहे. याबाबतचा प्रस्ताव प्रशासनाकडे पाठविण्यात आला असल्याचे एसडीआरएफकडून सांगण्यात आले.
‘एसडीआरएफ’वर महत्त्वाची जबाबदारी
कमांडिंग ऑफिसर प्रणय अशोक यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली सहायक कमांडन्ट सुरेश कराळे यांच्या नेतृत्वात एसडीआरएफची चमू सज्ज झाली आहे. एसडीआरएफकडे चार चमू आहेत. १ प्रशासकीय आणि ३ प्रत्यक्ष कृती करणाऱ्या चमू आहेत. एका चमूमध्ये २५ जवानांचा समावेश आहे. एसडीआरएफकडे आरआरबी बोट १२ आणि ओबीएम १२ आहे. फ्लड वॉटर रेस्क्यू चमू तयार आहे. यात लाइफ बॉय, लाइफ जॅकेट, पोहण्यात तरबेज असणारे व्यक्ती, रोप आदी साहित्यानिशी ही चमू तयार असते. एनडीआरएफच्या चमूकडून इथल्या चमूला प्रशिक्षण देण्यात आले. फ्लड अॅण्ड सायक्लॉन ट्रेनिंग, स्कुबा डायव्हिंग, केमिकल फॅक्टरीत आपत्ती आली तर बचाव कसा करायचा, मोठी इमारत पडली आणि त्या इमारतीच्या मलब्यात अडकलेल्यांना बाहेर कसे काढायचे याचेही प्रशिक्षण देण्यात आले आहे. या विभागाकडे ५५ वॉकीटॉकी आणि २८ बिनतारी व्हीएचएफ संच आहेत.
नागपूर : वीज ग्राहकांना देयकाची रक्कम भरणे अधिक सोयीचे व्हावे यासाठी महावितरणकडून सुरु करण्यात आलेल्या पेमेंट वॉलेट या सुविधेसाठी महावितरणच्या नागपूर परिक्षेत्राअंतर्गत असलेल्या विदर्भातील अकराही जिल्ह्यातून तब्बल ६६८ जणांनी अर्ज केले आहेत. आवश्यक असलेल्या अटी आणि शर्तीची पूर्तता केल्यावर या व्यक्ती अथवा संस्थांना पेमेंट वॉलेटच्या माध्यमातून महावितरणकडून वीजदेयक वसुलीची परवानगी देण्यात येणार आहे.
महावितरणकडून देण्यात आलेल्या माहितीनुसार, विदर्भातून सर्वाधिक १०५ अर्ज यवतमाळ जिल्ह्यातून आले आहेत. नागपूर ग्रामीण मंडळातून ५४, शहर मंडळातून ७ तर भंडारा जिल्ह्यातून ८६, बुलडाणा जिल्ह्यातून ८४, गोंदिया जिल्ह्यातून ५६ जणांनी या महावितरणच्या पेमेंट वॉलेट साठी अर्ज केले आहेत. राज्याचे ऊर्जामंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांच्या हस्ते काही दिवसांपूर्वी राज्यातील वीज ग्राहकांसाठी पेमेंट वॉलेट या सुविधेचे उदघाटन करण्यात आले होते. महावितरण पेमेंट वॉलेट सुविधा घेणाऱ्या व्यक्तीला महावितरणकडून प्रति ग्राहक पाच रुपये कमिशन देण्यात येणार आहे. वीज ग्राहकांसाठी ही सुविधा सुरू केल्याने शहरी भागासह ग्रामीण भागातील वीज ग्राहकांना वीज देयकाची रक्कम भरण्यासाठी होणारी पायपीट वाचणार आहे. गावातील पेमेंट वॉलेट असलेल्या व्यक्तीकडून गामीण भागातील वीज ग्राहक देयकाची रक्कम भरू शकतात.
संपूर्ण पारदर्शक असलेल्या महावितरण पेमेंट वॉलेट योजनेत सहभागी होण्यास इच्छुक असलेल्या व्यक्तींनी आधार कार्ड, पॅन कार्ड, व्यापारी असल्यास जिएसटी क्रमांक, दुकान नोंदणी क्रमांक, राहिवासी असल्याचा पुरावा, पासपोर्ट आकाराचे छायाचित्र, रद्द केलेला धनादेश आदी कागदपत्रे महावितरणच्या www.mahadiscom.in या संकेतस्थळावर असलेल्या लिंकवर अपलोड करावी लागणार आहेत. महावितरणकडे अर्ज प्राप्त झाल्यावर उपविभागीय कार्यालयाकडून पडताळणी करण्यात येणार आहे. आलेले सर्व अर्ज मुंबई मुख्य कार्यालयाकडे पाठवल्या जाणार आहेत. तेथून अर्जाला मंजुरी मिळणार आहे. अर्जदाराला सर्व माहिती त्याने नमूद केलेल्या ई-मेल आणि नोंदणी केलेल्या मोबाइलवर एसएमएसच्या माध्यमातून मिळणार आहे. यासाठी अर्जदारास महावितरणच्या कार्यालयात जाण्याची गरज नाही.
‘टॉपअप’ची सुविधा

It’s hard to keep up with the growing number of up-and-coming artists. Even the genres are changing as talent continues to create new sounds. Enter I Am Boleyn, a new female synth pop artist out of the UK. Coming hot off the release of her infectious single Limit of Love, the Lana Del Rey meets Ellie Goulding pop synth singer has made her debut on the music scene with a uniquely delicate yet modern sound.
We recently sat down with I Am Boleyn to discuss everything from being a woman in the music industry to her new single due out in June.
What was your first major break in music?
I Am Boleyn: So I was writing at Sony/ATV Music Publishing with a friend of mine in London and I put vocals on a track and he had it on any show reel and he sent the show reel out. And actually he was pitching this song, he wasn’t pitching me on it, but one of the people that he sent it out to ran a record label in the UK and then got in touch and was like, ‘I really love this girl’s voice.’ But I had done a lot of gigging and stuff. I used to play at Ronnie Scott’s in London. We had a residency there for a while which was awesome. It was a really, really great place to practice new songs and stuff. It always had a really interesting crowd of people, because people know that they’re going to hear new music. So I’d done a lot of performing particularly in London, also a little bit in New York too. It was one of those things where it’s like I’d been performing and writing, for like a couple of years and then it’s sort of interesting, like one thing with Sony/ATV that wasn’t even intentional that was the thing that started it all off.
What’s your song-writing process like?
I Am Boleyn: I write all my songs in Stockholm, Sweden with a production collective called FMLY Sthlm. They produce, mix and master all my tracks. So I spend time there writing. I think that’s why I love going to Stockholm to write because when I’m at home it’s really difficult to switch off because you’re constantly thinking about what you have to do later or whether you should see someone or whatever. But in Stockholm I literally know only the three people I write with and nobody else so I can just really zone in and focus on songs I want to write. Normally it starts with a lyric idea like a theme and I build it from there.
It’s very difficult to write a song about love. We thought about a different way of looking at love. The question Limit of Love asks is, ‘What would you find out about someone else or what is there in yourself that you’re trying to keep secret that might be the limit of the love in a relationship?’ Obviously if you want to really give yourself to someone and let them love you then you have to tell them things that maybe you’re not proud of. It’s like that last little bit of yourself that you have to give over.
What’s it like being a woman in the music industry, specifically in a synth/electronic genre that’s typically been dominated more by men than women?
I Am Boleyn: I feel very passionately about it. There’s never been a better time to be a woman. I think it’s very exciting that so many people are part of the conversation. I think that it’s really important that all women think about where they feel that they fit in that conversation. Because I think a lot of people they obviously don’t want everyone to have equal pay and you know, you want the right to go to work without being given a hard time by your boss or whatever. But I think that it’s really important that women sit and think about it and think about what feminism means to them and what being a feminist means. And because, it’s really important, especially if you’re going to have kids or if you’re in a position like a musician or an actress where you can influence what people think.
It’s tough. You know, especially in the music business because you’re trying to get people to listen to your music and stuff and you don’t want to cram your opinions down people’s throats. But I think you also don’t want to completely step back and just say, oh well I’m not going to put my personal feelings into this. I think that there’s definitely, I think there’s definitely a lot of women kind of coming up in it. I think traditionally, especially on the production side, everything is very male orientated. And so it’s really interesting to see more female DJs, more women getting into production and the more technical parts of making music, you know mixing and things. It’s definitely happening slowly, but it is happening. There are lot more women in A&R a lot more women songwriters and stuff. So yeah, it is happening.
How has it been navigating the business side of the music industry with choosing a label?
I Am Boleyn: I’m taking meetings with lots of different people, some here in the states hopefully to license some stuff too. And then some in the UK. It’s really interesting because different labels have different things to offer. You know, they have different ways of pitching their artists and dealing with their artists. I mean Polydor is really an amazing label. They have tons of artists that I really love. They’re part of Universal.
It’s a great time to be a musician because there are so many options. Like, you can go try and get a major label deal or you can do an independent label or you can just do Spotify which means that you can just do stuff yourself. I have lots of friends who are great musicians who were just like, ‘I’m just going to do the whole thing myself,’ which is kind of crazy. You can do that now.
Can you tell us about your new single coming out, “Just Friends”?
I Am Boleyn: So “Just Friends.” As the title suggests, it is about a person in a position where they have a friendship with somebody and like maybe it could be more than friends, but they’re not quite sure. Maybe they get drunk and they kiss, but they’re like, “No, no, we’re just friends! We’re just friends.” And I think that sometimes you have those romantic relationships where it’s like boom, immediately, you know that you fancy that person. And then sometimes you look at someone you’ve known for ages and you’re like, “Wow, maybe I really like you and I just didn’t kind of realize it.” So it’s about one of those feelings of like, do I cross that boundary with someone or is it better to just be friends? “Just Friends” releases June 14th!
नागपूर : ‘सीसीडी’ अर्थात ‘कॅफे कॉफी डे’चे संस्थापक व्ही. जी. सिद्धार्थ यांचा मृतदेह सापडल्यानंतर कंपनीने एस. व्ही. रंगनाथ यांची कंपनीच्या अंतरिम चेअरमनपदी नियुक्ती केली आहे. ८ ऑगस्ट या दिवशी कंपनीच्या संचालक मंडळाची बैठक होत असून या बैठकीत पुढील रणनीती ठरविण्यात येणार आहे.
रंगनाथ सध्या कंपनीचे नॉन एक्झिक्युटीव्ह स्वतंत्र संचालक आहेत. कंपनीने नितीन बागमने यांची अंतरिम मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारीपदी (सीओओ) नियुक्ती केली आहे. कंपनीच्या या नेमणुकीबाबतच्या प्रस्तावाला संचालक मंडळाची मंजुरी मिळवावी लागणार आहे.
कंपनीने मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकाऱ्याच्या नेतृत्वात एक समिती स्थापन केली असून ही समिती सीसीडीसाठीच्या नव्या संधीचा शोध घेण्याचे काम करणार आहे.
व्ही. जी. सिद्धार्थ यांच्या मागे पत्नी मालविका आणि दोन मुले आहेत. सिद्धार्थ बेपत्ता झाल्यानंतर सुमारे दोन दिवसांच्या शोधानंतर त्यांचा मृतदेह मंगळुरूतील नेत्रावती नदीत सापडला.
देशभरातील सर्व सीसीडी आउटलेट्स आज बंद
सिद्धार्थ यांच्या मृत्यूनंतर सीसीडीने देशभरातील आउटलेट्स बंद ठेवण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. सिद्धार्थ यांच्या श्रद्धांजली अर्पण करण्याच्या उद्देशाने देशभरातील सुमारे २४० शहरांमधील एकूण १७५० रिटेल आउटलेट्स आज बंद ठेवण्यात आली आहेत. कर्नाटकातील चिकमंगलुरू, हसन आणि कोडुगू या तीन कॉफी उत्पादक जिल्ह्यांमध्ये कॉफीच्या सर्व मळ्यांमधील कर्मचाऱ्यांना सुट्टी देण्यात आली आहे.
कंपनीच्या समभागांमध्ये २० टक्क्यांची घसरण
सिद्धार्थ यांच्या बेपत्ता होण्यापासूनच कंपनीच्या समभागांमध्ये सतत घसरण होत आहे. आज बीएसईमध्ये कंपनीच्या समभागांमध्ये २० टक्क्यांची घसरण होऊन तो १२३.२५ रुपयांपर्यंत पोहोचला आहे. एनएसईमध्ये देखील समभागांमध्ये २० टक्क्यांची घट झाली आहे. इथे समभागाचा भाव १२२. ७५ रुपयांवर आला आहे.
व्ही. जी. सिद्धार्थ यांनी बेंगळुरूत सन १९९६ मध्ये सीसीडीचे पहिले स्टोअर सुरू केले. सध्या ‘सीसीडी’ ही भारतातील कॉफी रेस्टॉरंटची सर्वात मोठी साखळी आहे.
नागपूर : टाटा मोटर्स अगले 18 महीने में भारत में 4 इलेक्ट्रिक कारें लॉन्च करने की तैयारी में है। इन चारों मॉडल्स में कंपनी की पॉप्युलर सब-कॉम्पैक्ट एसयूवी नेक्सॉन का इलेक्ट्रिक वर्जन यानी Nexon EV, Altroz EV, Tigor EV का पावरफुल वर्जन और एक अन्य मॉडल शामिल है। रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, कंपनी के चेयरमैन एन चंद्रशेखरन ने 74वीं ऐनुअल जनरल मीटिंग में शेयरहोडर्ल्स के साथ बातचीत में इसका खुलासा किया। खास बात यह है कि पहली बार इस बात की अधिकारिक पुष्टि हुई है कि कंपनी नेक्सॉन इलेक्ट्रिक लॉन्च करेगी।
इलेक्ट्रिक टाटा नेक्सॉन के स्पेसिफिकेशन्स की अभी काफी कम जानकारी सामने आई है। टिगोर ईवी की तरह नेक्सॉन ईवी में भी लिथियम-आयन बैटरी पैक दिए जाने की उम्मीद है। ऐसी संभावना है कि नेक्सॉन ईवी में बैटरी टेक्नॉलजी और इलेक्ट्रिक मोटर अल्ट्रॉज ईवी से लिए जाएंगे, जिसे इस साल की शुरुआत में जिनेवा मोटर शो में पेश किया गया था।
टाटा मोटर्स ने बताया था कि, अल्ट्रॉज ईवी फुल चार्ज पर 250 से 300 किलोमीटर की रेंज के साथ आएगी। कंपनी ने यह भी दावा किया है कि इलेक्ट्रिक अल्ट्रॉज को डीसी फास्ट चार्जिंग से 60 मिनट में 80 पर्सेंट चार्ज किया जा सकेगा। रिपोर्ट्स में कहा गया है कि इलेक्ट्रिक नेक्सॉन की रेंज और चार्जिंग का समय भी लगभग इन्हीं आंकड़ों के आसपास होगा।
इन दोनों इलेक्ट्रिक कारों की कीमत के बारे में अभी कोई जानकारी सामने नहीं आई है। हालांकि, टाटा मोटर्स के अधिकारियों ने पहले ही कहा है कि अल्ट्रॉज ईवी की लागत 10 लाख रुपये से ज्यादा होगी। संभावना है कि नेक्सॉन ईवी की कीमत अल्ट्राज ईवी से थोड़ी अधिक रहेगी। नेक्सॉन के पेट्रोल-डीजल वाले मॉडल के मुकाबले इसके इलेक्ट्रिक वर्जन की डिजाइन में भी कुछ बदलाव देखने को मिलेंगे।
वर्तमान में टाटा मोटर्स के पोर्टफोलियो में सिर्फ एक इलेक्ट्रिक कार टिगोर ईवी है। इसमें 16.2kWh बैटरी पैक दिया गया है। ARAI (ऑटोमोटिव रिसर्च असोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया) के अनुसार फुल चार्ज पर इस इलेक्ट्रिक कार की रेंज 140 किलोमीटर है। अपडेट यानी टिगोर ईवी का पावरफुल वर्जन फुल चार्ज होने पर 200 किलोमीटर के आसपास की रेंज के साथ आएगा।
नागपूर : उपराजधानी संत्रानगरी म्हणून प्रसिद्ध आहे. नागपुरच्या शिरपेचात आणखी तुरा रोवला जाणार आहे. शहरातील लिंबूवर्गीय फळ संशोधन संस्थेने संत्र्याच्या तीन नव्या प्रजातींचे संशोधन केले आहे. राज्यातील चारही कृषी विद्यापीठांनी या प्रजातींचा नव्या प्रजाती म्हणून स्वीकार केला आहे. यंदाच्या मोसमातील नागपूर जिल्ह्यात या प्रजातींचे पीक घेतले जाणार असल्याची माहिती संस्थेकडून मिळाली आहे.
कटर व्हॅलेन्शिया, फ्लेम ग्रेपफ्रुट आणि एनआरसीसी पुम्मेलो-५ अशी या तिन्ही प्रजातींची शास्त्रीय नावे आहेत. या तिन्ही प्रजाती बियारहित आहेत. २०१६ साली या प्रजातींवरील संशोधनास सुरुवात झाली. अद्याप या प्रजातींना बाजारात मान्यता मिळालेली नाही. ही मान्यता देण्याचा अधिकार हा लिंबूवर्गीय फळ संशोधन संस्थेला नसून तो केवळ राज्याच्या प्रजाती मान्य समितीला आहे. परंतु राज्यातील चारही कृषी विद्यापीठांनी या प्रजातींना हिरवा कंदील दिला आहे. त्यामुळे ही समितीसुद्धा लवकरच या प्रजातींना मान्यता देईल, आशी आशा संशोधन संस्थेचे संचालक एम.एस. लदानिया यांनी व्यक्त केली आहे.
लदानिया पुढे म्हणाले ‘आम्ही या मोसमासाठी या प्रजातींच्या रोपट्याची विक्री सुरू केली आहे. अद्याप आम्ही सुमारे सव्वा लाख रुपयांची रोपटी विकली आहेत. चारही कृषी विद्यापीठांनी या प्रजातींना हिरवा कंदील दिला. त्यामुळे आता या प्रजातींचा खप वाढण्याची आम्हाला आशा आहे.’ ‘यातील कटर व्हॅलेन्शिया हे फळ प्रक्रियेद्वारे तयार करण्यात येणाऱ्या उत्पादनांसाठी महत्त्वाचे मानले जाते. या फळावर सुमारे १० वर्षे संशोधन करण्यात आले. याखेरीज फ्लेम ग्रेपफ्रुट हे बियारहित फळ असल्याने अशा फळांना ग्राहकांची अधिक पसंती लाभते. तसेच हे सर्वाधिक रसाळ फळ आहे. याखेरीज एनआरसीसी पुम्मेलो-५ हे फळ अधिक गोड असून याचे वजनसुद्धा अधिक आहे,’ असेही लदानिया यांनी सांगितले.
Nagpur : State Cabinet, in its meeting held in Mumbai on Tuesday, gave nod to a proposal for extending the lease of Ambazari land to Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) from 30 years previously to 99 years now. The entire 44 acres of land of Ambazari lakeside was with Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), but the title was in the name of the State Government.
Accordingly, Revenue Department had submitted a proposal to get this land for beautification and redevelopment project. In June 2017, State Government decided to lease out 19 acres of Ambazari lakeside land to MTDC to carry out makeover of the area. In 2018, NMC handed over the possession of the said land. However, previously, the said land was to be leased out to MTDC for a period of 30 years. MTDC was supposed to pay lease at the rate of Re 1 per annum.
It was decided that the land would continue to be with NMC, and MTDC would invest Rs 9 crore in the Ambazari redevelopment project. As per the plan, MTDC would create various amenities including club house, food zone, urban huts, amusement park etc. In rest of the area, NMC would create certain amenities. All this was to be done to make Ambazari garden and lakeside a tourism destination. As per the State Cabinet decision taken on Tuesday, now the lease period has been extended to 99 years.
MTDC had conveyed to the Government that the project would give a boost to tourism and create employment opportunities. Since the last State Cabinet decision, MTDC had invited expression of interest from the entities interested in the project to develop, operate, and maintain Ambazari garden and lakeside. The estimated cost of the project, which is to be executed on public-private partnership basis, is worked out to be between Rs 75 crore and Rs 100 crore. NMC will continue to operate the garden till the operator takes over possession of Ambazari land.
Nagpur : The scholarship issue in Maharashtra has no end it seems. Though Government took a lot of efforts, took several measures, introduced Direct Benefit Transfer but it failed to resolve the pendency issue. To add to the woes of colleges and students, now National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) mapper is creating problems.
This has become a big hurdle in deposition of scholarship amount into the accounts of students. Students get registered themselves for receipt of scholarship benefits. Aadhaar seeding is necessitated for receiving Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT) provided by various Government schemes. Customer (here the student) visits the bank branch where he or she is holding an account and submit the duly filled consent form. The bank officials after verifying the details and documents provided (as may be required) and authenticity of the customer based on the signature will accept Aadhaar seeding consent form and provide an acknowledgment to the customer.
The branch will then link the Aadhaar number to the customer’s account and also in NPCI mapper. Once this activity is completed, the Aadhaar number is reflected in NPCI mapper. Bank then verifies the completeness of the consent form, checking the documentation and authenticating the customer’s signature. After the officials are satisfied with the documentation they carry out the activities that include linking the Aadhaar number to the bank account (in CBS), updating NPCI mapper. Here the students are facing problems.
As per the students and colleges, NCPI mapper is not getting updated due to which the amount is not getting deposited in the accounts of students. Bank has clearly said that in case of failure in updating any Aadhaar number/s then necessary corrective action has to be taken and CBS also should be updated accordingly. Branches are expected to understand that if Aadhaar number is not updated in NPCI mapper the action is purely lies with the bank only.
The customer should not be told that NPCI has not updated the Aadhaar number. According to some students, the banks are not responding and Social Justice Department has no solution with it. This has created a lot of problems. Colleges have complained, they have already facing severe problem of financial crunch. Now, the NCPI mapper has added to their problems. Government still has not paid full amount of scholarship till now. This time Government has deposited the amount but problem in NCPI is not allowing the same to be transferred to students’ accounts.

शहरात सोमवारपासूनच संततधार सुरू आहे. रात्री काही तास चांगला पाऊस झाला. तर, मंगळवारी सकाळपासूनच संततधार सुरू आहे. यामुळे शहराच्या बाह्यभागातील अनेक वस्त्यांमध्ये पाणी साचले. ते वस्त्यांपर्यंत शिरले. कळमना भागातील नेताजीनगर, पुनापूर, भरतवाडा, पारडी रोड आदी भागांतील वस्त्यांमध्ये पाणी शिरले. उत्तर नागपुरातील यशोधरानगर, विनोबा भावेनगर, कामगार कॉलनी, कुशीनगर, नारी, नारा, कस्तुरबानगर आदी भागांतील वस्त्याही जलमय झाल्या होत्या. मध्यनागपुरातील डोबीनगर, खदान आदी परिसरात पाणी साचले होते. पश्चिम नागपुरातील गिट्टीखदान, बोरगाव, पलोटी शाळेच्या मागील परिसर, झिंगाबाई टाकळी, मानकापूर भागातील नाल्याशेजारील वस्त्या, पांढराबोडी, सरायकरनगर या भागातही पाणी शिरले होते. दक्षिण पश्चिममधील सोनेगाव परिसर, टाकळीसीम, जयताळा, भामटी यासह इतरही भागात पाणी शिरल्याच्या तक्रारी आल्या. दक्षिण नागपुरातील चंद्रमणीनगर, चिंचमलातपुरेनगर, ओंकारनगर, टोळी, बजरंगनगर, जंबुदीपनगर, महालक्ष्मीनगर, अंबिकानगर आदी भागांमध्येही असाच संततधार पाऊस आल्यास पाणी शिरण्याची शक्यता बळावली आहे. याच मतदारसंघातील मोठा ताजबाग, गौसीया कॉलनी, बिडीपेठ, भांडे प्लॉट आदी परिसरातही पाणी शिरण्याची शक्यता असल्याने नागरिक सतर्क झाले आहे. यासोबतच पूर्व नागपुरातील वाठोडा, दिघोरी परिसरातही संपूर्ण परिसर पाणीमय झाला आहे. भांडेवाडी व परिसरातील वस्त्यांमध्ये दूरवर नजर टाकल्यावर सर्वत्र पाणीच पाणी दिसते. पूर्व नागपुरात स्मार्ट सिटीमुळे सुरू असलेल्या कामांमुळे वस्त्यांमध्ये पाणी शिरत आहे. शहरातही सिमेंट रस्त्यांच्या सदोष कामांमुळे वस्त्यांमध्येही पाणी शिरत असल्याचे चित्र होते
लाकडीपूल भागात मोठे झाड वाकले

अग्निशमन दलाला सूचना केली. त्यानंतर अग्निशमन दलाचे पथक तातडीने पोहोचले. पोलिसांनाही माहिती दिल्यानंतर पथक पोहोचले. त्यानंतर या मार्गावरील वाहतूक रोखून धरत झाडांच्या फांद्या तोडण्यात आल्या. दरम्यान, शहरातील अनेक मुख्य मार्गाशेजारी असलेल्या झाडांच्या फांद्याही पाऊस व वाऱ्याने वाकलेल्या आहेत. पाऊस सुरू असताना वाहन चालविताना वाहनचालकांना प्रचंड त्रास होतो.
नागपूर: राष्ट्रसंत तुकडोजी महाराज नागपूर विद्यापीठातील चहापाण्याच्या खर्चाचा घोटाळा बाहेर येताच विद्यापीठातील विविध विभागांकडून आगाऊ रक्कम मागणीला अचानक ब्रेक लागला आहे. गेल्या महिनाभरात कोणत्याच विभागाने चहाखर्चासाठी पैसे मागितले नसल्याची माहिती वित्त विभागातील अधिकाऱ्यांनी दिली.
अभ्यास मंडळातील तीन सदस्यांनी एका दिवसात ९९ कप चहा व २५ कप कॉफी घेतल्याचे वृत्त आले होते. त्याची दखल घेत कुलगुरू डॉ. सिद्धार्थविनायक काणे यांनी चौकशी समिती स्थापन केली. चौकशी समितीने पहिल्याच बैठकीत विद्याशाखा विभागातील गेल्या काही महिन्यात झालेल्या बैठकांचे ५० देयके सादर करण्याचे आदेश संबंधित अधिकाऱ्यांना दिलेत. त्या देयकांमुळे आता नेमका किती आगाऊ देण्यात आला आणि त्यापैकी किती खर्च झाला ते स्पष्ट होणार आहे.
दरम्यान, चहापाण्याच्या खर्चाच्या चौकशीचे आदेश दिल्याचे कळताच विद्यापीठातील इतर विभागदेखील हादरले आहेत. तसेच वित्त विभागानेदेखील प्रत्येक विभागाला आजवर घेतलेला अॅडव्हान्स आणि त्यातून झालेल्या खर्चाचे देयकासह तपशील सादर करण्याचा आदेश दिला. अॅडव्हान्स रक्कमेच्या खर्चाचे हिशेब सादर न केल्यास नवा अॅडव्हान्स देण्यात येणार नाही, असेही अंतर्गत आदेश देण्यात आले आहेत. त्यामुळे अनेक विभागांचे धाबे दणाणले आहेत.
विद्यापीठात परीक्षा, विद्याशाखा, सामान्य प्रशासन, गोपनीय विभाग कार्यरत आहेत. तिथे विविध समित्यांच्या बैठकी आणि सभादेखील होत असतात. वित्त विभागाकडून देण्यात आलेल्या रक्कमेचा गैरवापर होत असल्याचे निदर्शनास आले आहे, अशी माहिती वित्त विभागातील अधिकाऱ्याने दिली. त्यामुळेच आता विभागांकडून घेण्यात आलेले रक्कमेचे हिशेब सादर होईस्तोवर नवीन रक्कम देण्यात येणार नाही, असा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे. परिणामी, गेल्या महिनाभरात कोणत्याच विभागाने बैठकांच्या नियोजनासाठी पैसे मागितले नसून त्यामुळे खर्चावर एकप्रकारचे नियंत्रणच आले आहे, असेही त्या अधिकाऱ्याने नमूद केले.
