Nagpur : Dr. Sanjay Paithankar, renowned Physician and Cardiologist has brought glory to Nagpur city by making a distinct presence in Gulf health care sector. In just over a decade, Dr. Sanjay Paithankar has changed the concept of subsidized medical care in the UAE by setting up several cut-price but quality clinics for low-income people. His philosophy is guided by the imperative to give back to society.
A Saraswati Vidyalaya School product and a gold medalist with an MBBS and MD degree from Nagpur GMC, Dr. Paithankar has always believed that it was important to give something back to society and thus make the world a better place. Right Health, the UAE’s largest and fastest-growing value healthcare organization led by Dr. Sanjay Paithankar has impacted more than 450,000 patients and aims to touch one million lives by 2022 as it continues to expand its network of clinics, pharmacies, drug stores and laboratories across the UAE. Recently he was one of the very few selected few Indians and 1stNagpurian to be presented Gold card by UAE. The gold card gives permanent residency of the UAE to the holder.
A well-known philanthropist but very modest and humble gentleman who is always contributing for just causes in Nagpur City; Dr. Sanjay Paithankar recently paid an informal courtesy visit to Nagpur based Orange City Hospital & Research Institute (OCHRI); a unit of Ravi Nair Hospitals Private Limited(RNHPL) for wishing fellow SVian Dr. AnupMarar. For his accomplishments, Dr. Sanjay Paithankar was felicitated in traditional manner with shawl and Shreefal by Dr. Anup Marar- OCHRI Director on behalf of OCHRI family. Dr. Usha Nair, RNHPL Director presented him with a book on Nagpur and copy of Bhagwat Geetha.
Dr. Sanjay Paithankar recalled his school days with Late Shri.Ravi Nair and stated that visiting the Institute which bears the name of his class mate brought fond recollections and he complimented Nairsons Group led by Shri.Udaybhaskar Nair for having instated OCHRI in memory of Late Shri.Ravi Nair that has been envisaged not to generate profits for Nair family but to provide quality health care to needy incoming central Indians and use profits only for social causes.
He complimented Team OCHRI for nurturing values and ethics to gain such immense goodwill and prayed that OCHRI expands exponentially to cater the needs of central Indians.
