GoAir records best ‘On-Time-Performance’, 9th time in a row

Nagpur : GoAir, India’s fastest growing airline, has recorded the best On-Time Performance (OTP) for the 9th consecutive month. GoAir recorded 91.8% OTP according to the latest report released by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for May 2019. This achievement is the result of GoAir’s continuous focus on enhancing customer experience without compromising on service deliveries. Besides, for the month of May 2019, GoAir had the lowest cancellation rate of 0.33%.

OTP ranking assumes critical importance in today’s context when passengers are looking at reliability and trust. From various research studies it is evident that achieving better customer satisfaction is about more than airfare and flight availability. When considering an airline, travelers look for timeliness and assurance and on-time arrival is one of the major factors.

GoAir flies to 24 domestic destinations including Ahmedabad, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kochi, Kolkata, Kannur, Leh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Port Blair, Pune, Ranchi and Srinagar, and 4 international destinations, including Phuket, Malé, Muscat and Abu Dhabi.

नागपूर : विद्यार्थिनींसह तिघींवर अत्याचार

नागपूर : जिल्ह्यात विविध ठिकाणी दोन विद्यार्थ्यांसह तिघींवर अत्याचार करण्यात आला. मौद्यात सासऱ्याने सुनेचा विश्वासघात करून तिच्यावर अत्याचार केला. तिन्ही प्रकरणी पोलिसांनी अत्याचाराचा गुन्हा दाखल करून तपास सुरू केला आहे. हिंगणा भागात १४ वर्षीय विद्यार्थिनीवर युवकाने अत्याचार केल्याची घटना उघडकीस आली आहे.

विद्यार्थिनीच्या नातेवाइकाने दिलेल्या तक्रारीवरून पोलिसांनी अत्याचाराचा गुन्हा दाखल करून कुलदीप ठाकरे या युवकाला अटक केली आहे. तो मजुरी करतो. पीडित मुलगी नवव्या वर्गात शिकते. मार्च महिन्यात कुलदीपने मुलीला प्रेमाच्या जाळ्यात अडकविले. त्यानंतर तो तिच्यावर सतत अत्याचार करीत होता. याबाबत मुलीच्या नातेवाइकांना कळले. नातेवाइकाने हिंगणा पोलिसांत तक्रार दिली. पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल करून कुलदीपला अटक केली. त्याला आज, सोमवारी न्यायालयात हजर करण्यात येऊन त्याची कोठडी घेण्यात येणार आहे.

कुही येथे मार्च महिन्यापासून सतरावर्षीय विद्यार्थिनीवर अत्याचार करणाऱ्या २४ वर्षीय युवकाला अटक करण्यात आली आहे. रोशन हबीब शेख (रा. मांढळ) असे अटकेतील युवकाचे नाव आहे. मार्चपासून तो विद्यार्थिनीवर अत्याचार करीत होता.

तिसरी घटना मौदा येथे घडकीस आली. ५२ वर्षीय सासऱ्याने २१ वर्षीय नवविवाहित सुनेवर शेतात अत्याचार केला. १४ जूनला पीडित विवाहितेची प्रकृती खालावली. सासरा तिला मोटरसायकलने वैद्याकडे घेऊन जात होता. मात्र, वैद्याकडे न नेता सासऱ्याने पीडित विवाहितेला शेतात नेले. तेथे तिच्यावर अत्याचार केला. याबाबत कोणाला सांगितल्यास ठार मारण्याची धमकी दिली. त्यानंतर १६ जूनला घरी कोणी नसता सासऱ्याने सुनेवर अत्याचार केला. पीडित विवाहितेने पतीला घटनेची माहिती दिली. पतीसह मौदा पोलिस स्टेशन गाठून तक्रार दिली. पोलिसांनी अत्याचाराचा गुन्हा दाखल करून सासऱ्याला अटक केली.

नागपूर : उपराजधानी नागपूर व कळमेश्वर पोलिस स्टेशनअंतर्गत येणाऱ्या गौंडखैरी येथे युवकासह दोघांची हत्या करण्यात आली. अर्ध्या तासात घडलेल्या या दोन हत्याकांडांनी शहर व ग्रामीण पोलिसांमध्ये खळबळ उडाली आहे. पहिली घटना कळमेश्वर पोलिस स्टेशनअंतर्गत येणाऱ्या गोंडखैरी येथे रविवारी रात्री ८ वाजताच्या सुमारास उघडकीस आली.

अज्ञात मारेकऱ्याने डोक्यावर वार करून २८ वर्षीय युवकाची हत्या केली. धीरज ठग (रा. गोंडखैरी), असे मृताचे नाव आहे. कळमेश्वर पोलिसांनी खुनाचा गुन्हा दाखल करून मारेकऱ्याचा शोध सुरू केला आहे.

या हत्येनंतर गिट्टीखदानमधील व्हेटरनरी कॉलेज चौकात खुनाची दुसरी घटना रविवारी रात्री ८.३० वाजताच्या सुमारास उघडकीस आली. शिविगाळ करण्यास मनाई केल्याने चौधरी यांची चाकूने वार करून हत्या करण्यात आली.

शेरा नावाच्या गुन्हेगाराने चौधरी यांची हत्या केल्याचे पोलिसांनी सांगितले. पाच दिवसांपूर्वीच शेरा हा कारागृहातून जामिनावर बाहेर आला. उशीरात्रीपर्यंत पोलिस मारेकऱ्यांचा शोध घेत होते.

नागपूर : वापरात नसलेल्या वस्तू विकून थोडे पैसे मिळतील, हा मोह एका विद्यार्थिनीला चांगलाच महागात पडला. या विद्यार्थिनीने वापरात नसलेली बॅग दोनशे रुपयांत विक्रीसाठी ओएलएक्सलवर जाहिरात टाकली होती. दोनशे रुपये खात्यात मिळण्याऐवजी या विद्यार्थिनीच्या मैत्रिणीच्या खात्यातून भामट्याने चारच मिनिटांत २८ हजार ५१५ रुपये स्वत:च्या खात्यात वळते करून घेतले.

अनेक दिवसांपासून स्वत:जवळ पडून असलेली बॅग विक्री करण्यासाठी आपल्या बहिणीच्या मोबाइलवरून विद्यार्थिनीने शुक्रवारी दुपारी फोटोसह जाहिरात अपलोड केली. त्यानंतर काही तासांतच ओएलएक्सवरून एकाने ही बॅग खरेदीची इच्छा दर्शवीत सहकाऱ्याला पाठवत असल्याचे विद्यार्थिनीला सांगितले. मात्र, ‘दोनशे रुपये पेटीएमद्वारे अथवा तुमच्या सहकाऱ्यासोबत रोखीने पाठवा, नंतरच बॅग मिळेल’, असे विद्यार्थिनीने सांगितले. यावर, ‘मी लगेच पैसे पाठवतो’, असे समोरच्याने सांगितले. मात्र, रात्री उशिरापर्यंत पैसे मिळाले नव्हते.

यानंतर शनिवारी दुपारी ४ वाजताच्या सुमारास विद्यार्थिनीला पुन्हा त्या खरेदीदाराचा फोन आला. ‘तुमच्या पेटीएमवर पैसे वळते होत नसल्याने मी ‘गूगल पे’द्वारे पैसे पाठवतो, तुम्ही नंबर द्या’, असे त्याने सांगितले. या विद्यार्थिनीकडे गूगल पे नसल्याने तिच्या मैत्रिणीने ‘माझ्या खात्यात पैसे मागवून घे’ म्हणत स्वत:च्या खात्याचे डिटेल्स खरेदीदाराला पाठविण्यास सांगितले.

नंतर या विद्यार्थिनीने मैत्रिणीचा गूगल पे भ्रमणध्वनी क्रमांक आणि क्यूआर कोड शेअर केला. मात्र, खरेदीदाराने कॉल सुरू असतानाच विविध तीन ट्रान्झेक्शनद्वारे २८ हजार ५१५ रुपये या मैत्रिणीच्या खात्यातून ‘मनीषा प्रकाश मोरे’ नावाच्या खात्यात वळवून घेतले. कॉल कट होताच खात्यात पैसे जमा झाले नसून कपात झाल्याचे दोन्ही विद्यार्थिनींच्या लक्षात आले. त्यांनी लगेच त्या खरेदीदाराला फोन केला असता ‘मला दहा मिनिटे द्या, मी पैसे पाठवतो’, असे त्याने सांगितले. मात्र, फसवणूक झाल्याचे लक्षात येताच या दोन्ही विद्यार्थिनींनी दहा मिनिटांत सीताबर्डी पोलिस ठाणे गाठले. ठाण्यातून त्या क्रमांकावर फोन केला असता त्या खरेदीदाराचा फोन ‘स्विच्ड ऑफ’ येत होता.

कमेंटचा वापर करुन दिशाभूल

– थेट खात्यातून पैशांचे देवाण-घेवाण करण्यासाठी ‘गूगल पे’मध्ये ‘What’s this for?’ हा कमेंट बॉक्स ‘व्यवहार कशासाठी आहे’, ही आठवण ठेवण्यासाठी दिला जातो. यामध्ये ‘दोनशे रुपये खात्यात जमा होणार’, असा मेसेज लिहून या खरेदीदाराने प्रत्येकी ९५०५ रुपयांचे तीन व्यवहार शनिवारी दुपारी ४.२३, ४.२४ आणि ४.२६ वाजता केले.

अशी घ्या काळजी

अनेक पेमेंट मोबाइल अॅप्लिकेशन्स रेफरल कॅश (एखाद्याने आपल्याद्वारे दुसऱ्याला ते अॅप्लिकेशन इन्स्टॉल करण्यास लावले आणि पहिला व्यवहार करण्यास लावले तर मिळणारे पैसे) देतात. यासाठी तरुणांकडून ओळखीच्या व्यक्तींना विविध अॅप्लिकेशन्सची लिंक पाठवून अॅप्लिकेशन इन्स्टॉल करण्याचा तगादा लावण्यात येते.

– यासोबतच या अॅप्लिकेशन्ससोबत बँक खातेही लिंक करण्यास सांगितले जाते. मात्र, गरज नसल्यास विनाकारण आपले बँक खाते कोणत्याही अॅप्लीकेशनसोबत लिंक करू नका.

– पेमेंट अॅप्लिकेशन वापरता येत नसल्यास व्यवहार करणे टाळा किंवा विश्वासातील व्यक्तीलाच त्यासंदर्भात विचारा.

– आपले मोबाइल क्रमांक आणि ई-मेल बँक खात्यासोबत लिंक करून बँकेद्वारे होणाऱ्या व्यवहारावर लक्ष ठेवा. कुठल्याही अनधिकृत व्यवहारांची माहिती बँक आणि पोलिसांना द्या.

– पेमेंट अॅप्लिकेशन्सवर वेळोवेळी अपडेट्स येत असतात. फिचर्स पूर्णपणे समजूनच त्याचा वापर करावा.

Nagpur : Viral Acharya was appointed as one of the four deputy governors at the central bank in December 2016 and he quit six months before his term ends.

Viral Acharya, Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has resigned, citing “unavoidable personal circumstances”. Mr Acharya, whose term was scheduled to end in February, conveyed his decision to the central bank in a letter. “Consequential action arising from his letter is under consideration of the Competent Authority,” the RBI said in a statement today. The 45-year-old’s resignation comes months after his former boss Urjit Patel stepped down as RBI Governor, amid speculation of a rift with the government. That rift had exploded when Viral Acharya, in a scathing speech just a couple of months before that, had warned of “risks of undermining the central bank’s isaiependence” as “potentially catastrophic”.

Here are 10 things to know :

Viral Acharya is returning to the New York University Stern School of Business as an Economics professor in August, the Business Standard newspaper reported.

Michael Patra, executive director at the RBI, and Sanjeev Sanyal, principal economic adviser at the Ministry of Finance, are among possible successors to Viral Acharya, it said.

The RBI had, in December last year, denied speculation about Viral Acharya also leaving early after Urjit Patel resigned as RBI chief.

Mr Patel stepped down as governor in December 2018 amid growing differences with the government over a range of subjects including the central bank’s autonomy. Shaktikanta Das was appointed governor shortly after Mr Patel quit.

That rift between the government and central bank had surfaced earlier in October after Viral Acharya’s candid speech warning that undermining the RBI’s independence could be “potentially catastrophic”.

“Governments that do not respect central bank independence will sooner or later incur the wrath of financial markets, ignite economic fire, and come to rue the day they undermined an important regulatory institution,” Mr Acharya had said in the speech that was widely shared on social media.

Viral Acharya, who had three of his fellow deputy governors in the audience, also thanked then RBI Governor Urjit Patel for his “suggestion to explore this theme for a speech,” in a show of unity from an institution typically known for its restraint.

Those comments were seemingly triggered over the government reportedly pressuring the central bank to release reserve cash kept in RBI coffers to boost the economy in an election year.

The opposition, which had blamed the government for Urjit Patel’s exit, accusing it of trying to destroy institutions, hit out the centre again. “Govt changes, but issues of Economic Manhandling remain! Nagpur : National Dairy Development Board’s dairy development initiative in Vidarbha and Marathwada is gradually transforming the lives of rural people as it has started impacting social issues like gender inequalities and unemployment. NDDB’s innovative efforts have given the much needed confidence to milk producers as they are getting the fair share of consumer price.

At the request of Govt of Maharashtra, NDDB and its subsidiary Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. (MDFVPL) is instrumental in safeguarding interest of the rural milk producers in Vidarbha and Marathawada. Shri Dilip Rath, Chairman, NDDB conveyed that with guidance and support from Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, the Dairy Board is ensuring transparency & fairness in milk procurement operations and providing market access to the milk producers.

Presently, milk procurement operations are being carried out in 10 districts (Amravati, Wardha, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Buldhana, Yavatmal in Vidarbha and Nanded, Osmanabad, Latur,Jalna in Marathwada). Peak milk procurement of 2,82,879 litres from 23,827 active pourers of 1190 operational milk pooling points covering 2208 villages was recorded on 7 March 2019. Women have been forthcoming to adopt dairy farming as an ancillary avocation to augment their family incomes. The current participation of women stands at 29 % in terms of pourer base.

Total payment done to milk producers till 31st May 2019 is around Rs. 427.51 crores from initiation. Currently, a monthly average of Rs. 21.65 crore is getting transferred directly to bank accounts of farmers (100% farmers covered). Presently, 13336 litres of milk per day is being sold in Nagpur.

Encouraged by the permanent and round the year marketing facilities, the milk producers have started increasing their herd sizes by buying animals utilising their own resources. Producer farmers purchased 7188 milch animals (Vidarbha – 4200 & Marathwada – 2988) till 31st May 2019. NDDB has also introduced Rathi cows on experimental basis to study their performance.

NDDB on its own implemented a pilot project in 40 villages of Wardha and Amravati districts for input activities like Ration Balancing Programme, supply of cattle feed & mineral mixture, fodder development & silage making, oat cultivation and fodder demonstration units.

NDDB Dairy Services (subsidiary of NDDB) established a mega semen station at Rahuri to produce and supply frozen semen from genetically superior bulls of various indigenous breeds of cattle and buffalo, crossbred and exotic bulls to enhance productivity of dairy animals in the country. The ISO 9001; 2015 certified semen station produced around 50 lakh semen doses during 2018-19. Vidarbha and Marathwada, is a focus area for Rahuri semen station. Around 80 AI awareness programmes were carried out wherein dairy farmers and AI workers participated. The major districts covered include, Nagpur, Yawatmal, Bhandara, Buldhana, Washim, Latur, & Parbhani. Around 2 lakh high genetic merit semen doses were made available for AI in Vidarbha and Marathwada during the year 2018-19.

NDDB Foundation for Nutrition (NFN) has been distributing 200 ml of flavoured pasteurised toned milk (fortified with vitamin A and D) under Giftmilk programme to around 11000 children studying in 37 government schools in Nagpur district of the Vidarbha region. The programme is being funded under the CSR assistance of Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. The Bhandara Milk union has been roped in as the supplier of milk. The programme schools consist of about 50% girl students and about 53% SC-ST students. Around 8 lakh units of milk have been distributed in the schools so far. Further, a proposal has been submitted to initiate the programme in Gadchiroli district of Vidarbha region.

At present, institution building activities, a transparent system of milk procurement and timely milk payment are being focussed. Once the operations attain the scale and size required for a viable and sustainable business, setting up of a producer company would be facilitated by NDDB.

गोरेवाडा तलावाच्या कार्यात पहिले यश खोलीकरणानंतर लागले पाणी; कार्य युध्दपातळीवर सुरू

नागपूर : शहरातील पाणी टंचाईचा प्रश्न लक्षात घेता नागपूर महानगरपालिकेने सुरू केलेल्या गोरेवाडा तलावाच्या खोलीकरण कार्याला रविवारी (ता.२३) पहिले यश मिळाले आहे. युध्दपातळीवर सुरू असलेल्या तलाव खोलीकरणामुळे पाणी लागले आहे.

शहरातील पाण्याच्या प्रश्नावर गांभीर्याने कार्य व्हावे यासाठी तीन दिवसापासून सुरू असलेल्या खोलीकरण कार्याकडे स्थायी समिती सभापती प्रदीप पोहाणे विशेष लक्ष देत आहेत. सदर कामाची दररोज पाहणी करून ते आढावा घेत आहेत.

रविवारी (ता.२३) करण्यात आलेल्या पाहणी दौ-यात स्थायी समिती सभापती प्रदीप पोहाणे यांच्या समवेत नागपूर सुधार प्रन्यासचे विश्वस्त भूषण शिंगणे, सर्वश्री मनोज अग्रवाल, हर्षद घाटोळे, अश्विन खवाले, किशोर रावत, सुनील गवाडे, विठ्ठल अधावे, संजय गिरहें, रेखा देने, अॅड. श्रीकांत परवटलवार आदी उपस्थित होते.

मागील शंभर वर्षांमधे पहिल्यांदाच गोरेवाडा तलाव पूर्ण आटले. शहराला पाणी पुरवठा करणा-या तलावाची ही स्थिती भविष्यासाठी धोक्याची घंटा आहे. भविष्यात शहरातील नागरिकांना पाणी टंचाईचा सामना करावा लागू नये यासाठी तलावाचे खोलीकरण करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला. मागील तीन दिवसापासून युध्दपातळीवर तलावाच्या खोलीकरणाचे काम सुरू आहे व या कामाचा सातत्याने आढावा घेण्यात येत आहे.

पदाधिका-यांसह मनपाचे अधिकारी आणि कर्मचारी गोरेवाडा तलावाच्या खोलीकरण कार्यासाठी परिश्रम घेत आहेत. तलावाच्या खोलीकरणात लागलेले पाणी हे त्याचीच फलश्रुती आहे. तलावाचे खोलीकरण कार्याला अधिक गती मिळावी व लवकरात लवकर हे काम पूर्ण व्हावे यासाठी मनपा कटिबध्द आहे.

खोलीकरण कार्यासंदर्भात आयुक्तांशी चर्चा करण्यात आली आहे. लवकरात लवकर कार्य व्हावे यासाठी आणखी तीन ते चार पोकलेन वाढविण्याबाबत निर्देश देण्यात आले आहेत, अशी माहिती स्थायी समिती सभापती प्रदीप पोहाणे यांनी यावेळी दिली.

टैटू में बना रहे वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड

नागपुर : जब मैने तीन वर्ष पहले टैटू बनाने का काम शुरू किया तो सोचा कि टैटू बनाने का गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड बनाना है। अभी तक 24 घंटे में 400 टैटू बनाने का रिकॉर्ड दर्ज है। यह कहना है इंडिया के सेकेंड फास्टेस्ट टैटू आर्टिस्ट प्रदीप मुलानी का। जरीपटका निवासी प्रदीप टैटू बनाने का वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड बना रहे हैं।

23 जून को सुबह 9 बजे से उनका टाइम शुरू हुआ जो 24 जून को सुबह 9 बजे पूरा होगा। इन चौबीस घंटों में प्रदीप को 410 टैटू बनाने हैं। प्रदीप ने बताया कि सुबह 11.47 पर ही 272 टैटू कंपलीट कर लिए थे। मैने सागर गंधर्व, साहिल सारवन और जय बुधवानी हाथ, पीठ टैटू बनाए हैं।

इसमें कॉमिक, जियामैट्रिक टैटू शामिल है। कल सुबह 9 बजते ही चौबीस घंटे में 400 टैटू बनाने का वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड तोड़कर नया रिकॉर्ड बनने जा रहा है, जिसमें 24 घंटे में 410 टैटू बनाना है।

नागपुर : गणेशपेठ स्थित मंगलम बिल्डिंग की पांचवीं मंजिल पर रविवार को भाजपा कार्यालय के सभागृह में पदग्रहण समारोह कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया था। इस दौरान सभागृह के स्वीच बोर्ड में आग लग गई। कार्यकर्ताओं में भगदड़ सी मच गई।

कुछ महिला कार्यकर्ता और मीडियाकर्मी भीड में फंस गए। चर्चा है कि कुछ महिला कार्यकर्ता गिर पड़ीं। उन्हें दूसरी महिलाओं ने सहारा देकर उठाया और जान-बचाकर बाहर भागीं। सभागृह के अंदर धुआं भर गया था।

सभागृह में यह घटना जब हुई, तब विधायक सुधाकर देशमुख का भाषण चल रहा था। सभागृह के अंदर महिला व पुरुष कार्यकर्ता बड़ी संख्या में मौजूद थे। महिलाएं जिस जगह पर बैठी थीं, उसी जगह पर आग की यह घटना हुई। हालांकि बाद में बिजली बंद हो जाने से बड़ी अनहोनी टल गई। दमकल विभाग का एक वाहन भी घटनास्थल पर पहुंच गया था।

भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं ने अग्निरोधक सिलेंडर से फव्वारा कर आग को बुझाया। सभागृह के अंदर पीयूपी लगी है, गनीमत हुई कि पीयूपी को आग नहीं लगी। कार्यकर्ताओं ने बताया कि आग लगते ही सभी जान बचाकर भागे, सब को अपनी जान बचाने की परवाह थी।

दो बार पटाखे फूटने की आई आवाज

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों ने बताया कि सभागृह में प्रवीण दटके के भाजपा शहर अध्यक्ष चुने जाने पर पदग्रहण का कार्यक्रम शुरू था। सभागृह के अंदर पहले दो बार फटाखा फूटने जैसी आवाज आई। उसके बाद अचानक स्वीच बोर्ड में आग लग गई।

महिला कार्यकर्ताओं में नाराजगी

महिला कार्यकर्ताओं का कहना था कि बाहर निकलने के लिए जगह बहुत संकरी थी। धक्का मुक्की के बीच जैसे-तैसे बाहर निकलीं। महिला कार्यकर्ताओं ने नाराजगी जताते हुए कहा कि उनकी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था का ध्यान रखा जाना चाहिए। पुरुष तो कहीं पर भी किसी भी आकस्मिक परिस्थिति से बचकर निकल सकते हैं। कार्यक्रम के दौरान इमारत के अंदर एक ही लिफ्ट शुरू थी। घटना के बाद दूसरी लिफ्ट शुरू की गई। इस इमारत की सीढ़ियां काफी संकरी हैं, बड़ी अनहोनी हो सकती थी।

नागपुर : वाड़ी में जलापूर्ति नहीं होने के खिलाफ रविवार को सुबह 11 बजे बसपा के नगरसेवक नरेंद्र मेंढे के नेतृत्व में बड़ी संख्या में लोगों ने त्रिलोक नगर के पानी टंकी पर चढ़ गए। आंदोलन में महिलाओं ने भी हिस्सा लिया। सुबह से शाम तक मजीप्रा के अधिकारी मौके पर नहीं पहुंचे। अभियंता नरेश शनवारे, सुनील भंडारकर ने फोन रिसीव नहीं किया। वाड़ी पुलिस स्टेशन के पुलिस आशीष लोनकर, सुधाकर उइके, पानी टंकी पर पहुंचे।

नगरसेवक ने जब तक पानी नहीं मिलता, तब तक पानी टंकी पर ही रहने की चेतावनी दी। त्रिलोक नगर, इंद्रायणी नगर, सत्यसाईं सोसाइटी, श्रीकृष्ण नगर, धम्मकीर्ति नगर, समर्थ गजानन सोसाइटी में 8 दिन से जलसपूर्ति नहीं होने का आरोप आंदोलनकर्ताओं ने लगाया। भाजपा मंडल महामंत्री रामवलंब यादव ने कहा कि जिन्होंने नए नल कनेक्शन लिए हैं उन्हें पानी नहीं मिल रहा है, जबकि अनधिकृत लोगों को पानी मिल रहा है। टंकी पर असामाजिक तत्वों का जमावड़ा रहता है। यहां पर शराब पीकर जुआ सट्टा खेला जाता है।

Mohammed Shami claims hat-trick as India eliminate Afghanistan from World Cup

Mohammed Shami had replaced injured Bhuvneshwar Kumar in India’s playing XI against Afghanistan in Saturday’s World Cup league game and he made an impact.

With Afghanistan needing 16 runs to win in the final over, Shami produced a brilliant hat-trick, thereby becoming the second Indian after Chetan Sharma to take three in three at the World Cup.

Shami’s feat is also the 10th ever at the biggest stage of the sport. Nabi, who was Afghanistan’s last hope, was well set in the final over. He was caught by Pandya and both Aftab Alam and Mujeeb Ur Rahman were clean bowled by the 28-year-old Bengal pacer.

Sharma’s hat-trick came against New Zealand in 1987, the fourth edition of World Cup, during India’s final group game in Nagpur. Sharma’s hat-trick was also the first-ever in World Cup history.

नागपूर : रामटेक गढमंदिराच्या टेकडीचा भाग कोसळण्याची भीती

नागपूर : रामटेक गढमंदिराचे जीर्णोद्धार करण्यात आले. पण, यावेळी टेकडी परिसरात करण्यात आलेले अनेक कामे अपूर्ण स्वरुपात असल्याने मंदिर उभे असलेल्या टेकडीचा एक भाग केव्हाही कोसळू शकतो, अशी माहिती सीआयआरएसने आपल्या अहवालात दिली आहे.

रामटेक येथील ऐतिहासिक गढमंदिराच्या दुरवस्थेसंदर्भात वृत्त प्रकाशित झाल्यानंतर मुंबई हायकोर्टाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठाने स्वत: जनहित याचिका दाखल करून घेतली होती. मंदिर टेकडीवर उभे असून परिसरात मोठ्या प्रमाणात गौणखनिजांचे उत्खनन करण्यात आले. त्यामुळे मंदिराला धोका निर्माण झाला असल्याची बाब समोर आली.

त्यानंतर न्यायालयाने सार्वजनिक बांधकाम विभाग व इतर संबंधित विभागांना जीर्णोद्धार करण्याचे आदेश दिले. त्यानुसार काम हाती घेण्यात आले. टेकडीला मजबूत करण्यासाठी सार्वजनिक बांधकाम विभागाकडून अनेक कामे करण्यात आली.

पण, काही कामे अद्याापही अपूर्ण स्वरुपात आहेत. त्यामुळे मंदिराच्या टेकडीचा एक भाग केव्हाही कोसळू शकतो, असा अहवाल सीआयआरएसने उच्च न्यायालयात सादर केला. ‘न्यायालयीन मित्र’ म्हणून वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता आनंद जयस्वाल आणि नगरपरिषदेतर्फे अ‍ॅड. महेश धात्रक यांनी बाजू मांडली.

Nagpur : SNDL unearths power thefts at 25 places, fines Rs 14 lakh

Nagpur : Spanco Nagpur Discom Ltd (SNDL) conducted a special drive against power pilferage across the city and unearthed power thefts at 25 places. The SNDL imposed penalty collectively worth Rs 14 lakh on the consumers for power theft.

The drive was conducted at Kundanlal Gupta Nagar, New Mangalwari, Indira Gandhi Nagar, Vrundavan Nagar, and Noori Masjid areas of Binaki. A large number of police bandobast from Yashodhara Nagar Police Station was deployed during cracking several high consumption cases of power theft. Power thefts collectively worth three million units (MUs) was detected during the special drive. Offences were registered against the consumers under various sections of Electricity Act 2003.

A senior SNDL official informed that a total of 118 premises were checked during the drive for hook, meter, neutral cut, potential link cut, scroll button, service line tapping, terminal tapping, tariff miss used, meter referred to lab. Out of 25 power theft cases, 15 were of potential link cut, three each of service line tapping and terminal tapping and one each of hook, neutral cut, scroll button, tariff miss used and others.

“The drive would continue in the Distribution Franchise area as unauthorised power connection increasing load on the power infrastructure which resulted in the tripping of electric lines,” he said.

नागपूर : नरखेडात पूल तोडण्यावरून तणाव

नागपूर : नरखेड येथील प्रभाग क्रमांक पाच सहाला जोडणारा रंगारीपुऱ्यातील बंधारापूल तोडण्यावरुन शुक्रवारी तणाव निर्माण झाला. यावेळी संतप्त जमावाने केलेल्या दगडफेकीनंतर पोलिसांना जमाव पांगविण्यासाठी लाठीमार केला. जमावातील काहींनी नगरपालिका कार्यालय, पोलिसांची वाहने व नगराध्यक्षांच्या घरावरही दगडफेक केली.

परिस्थिती नियंत्रणात आणण्यासाठी अतिरिक्त पोलिस कुमक मागविण्यात आली. सायंकाळपर्यंत हा तणाव कायम होता. पोलिस उपाधीक्षक संजय जोगदंड व पोलिस निरिक्षक मल्लीकार्जुन इंगळे यांनी वेळीच कठोर भूमिका घेतले अनर्थ टळला. नरखेडच्या मध्यभागातून मदार नदी वाहते. रंगारीपुरा व कुंभारपेठ येथील नागरिकांना रहदारीच्या सोईकरीता सुमारे २५ वर्षांपूर्वी पूल बांधण्यात आला होता.

पूल जुना झाल्याने नवीन पूल बांधण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला. त्याचे भूमिपूजनही झाले. कंत्राटदाराने वेळेत काम सुरू न केल्याने कंत्राट रद्द करण्यात आले. नवीन पुलाचे काम सुरू झाल्यानंतर जुना पूल तोडावा असा ठराव घेण्यात आला.

मात्र शुक्रवारी पहाटे साडेतीनलाच मुख्याधिकारी माधुरी मडावी या स्वतः पोकलॅण्ड यंत्रासह पुलाजवळ दाखल झाल्याने वाद निर्माण झाला. नगरपालिका उपाध्यक्ष अजय बालपांडे, आरपीआयचे राहुल गजबे पूल पाडण्यास विरोध केला. त्यामुळे तणाव आणखी वाढला.

नगरपालिका, पोलिस ठाण्यावर मोर्चा नेण्यात आला. त्यानंतर जमावाने नगराध्यक्ष अभिजित गुप्ता यांच्या घरावर व पोलिस वाहनांवर दगडफेक सुरू केली. परिस्थिती नियंत्रणात आणण्यासाठी अखेर पोलिसांनी लाठीमार करावा लागला.

तीन तलाक पर बोले रविशंकर – सियासत या इबादत नहीं, यह नारी न्याय का सवाल

नागपुर  : लोकसभा में आज एक बार में तीन तलाक को गैर कानूनी ठहराने वाला मुस्लिम महिला (विवाह अधिकार संरक्षण) विधेयक पेश किया गया. 17 वीं लोकसभा के गठन के बाद नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार के दूसरे कार्यकाल का यह पहला बिल है. केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने लोकसभा में भारी हंगामे के बीच यह बिल पेश किया. सरकार के पिछले कार्यकाल में भी तीन तलाक पर बिल लाया गया था लेकिन लोकसभा से पारित हो जाने के बाद यह बिल राज्यसभा से पास नहीं हो पाया था.

बिल पेश होने पर वोटिंग :

लोकसभा में कांग्रेस समेत विपक्षी दलों ने तीन तलाक बिल पर डिवीजन की मांग की है. सदन में लॉबी खाली कराई जा रही है और इसके बाद वोटिंग होगी. स्पीकर ने सदन में कहा कि लॉबी खाली हो गई है और अब महासचिव वोटिंग के नियम सांसदों को बता रही हैं.

यह नारी न्याय का सवाल है :

रविशंकरकानून मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने कहा कि हमने पिछली सरकार में इस बिल को लोकसभा से पारित किया था लेकिन राज्यसभा में यह बिल पेंडिंग रह गया था. उन्होंने कहा कि संविधान की प्रक्रियाओं के अनुसार हम बिल को फिर से लेकर आए हैं. जनता ने हमें कानून बनाने के लिए चुना है और कानून पर बहस अदालत में होती है और कोई लोकसभा को अदालत न बनाए. मंत्री ने कहा कि यह सवाल सियासत या इबादत का नहीं बल्कि नारी न्याय का सवाल है. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत के संविधान में कहा गया है कि किसी के साथ भेदभाव नहीं किया जा सकता, इसलिए यह संविधान के खिलाफ कतई नहीं है बल्कि उनके अधिकारों से जुड़ा हैं.

संविधान के खिलाफ ये बिल : ओवैसी

ओवैसी ने बिल का विरोध करते हुए कहा कि यह संविधान के खिलाफ है. उन्होंने कहा कि इस बिल से सिर्फ मुस्लिम पुरुषों को सजा मिलेगी, सरकार को सिर्फ मुस्लिम महिलाओं से हमदर्दी क्यों है, केरल की हिन्दू महिलाओं की चिंता सरकार क्यों नहीं कर रही है. उन्होंने कहा कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने तीन तलाक को असंवैधानिक ठहराया है. इस बिल के बाद जो पति जेल जाएंगे उनकी पत्नियों का खर्चा क्या सरकार देने के लिए तैयार है.

तीन तलाक बिल पेश :

केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने लोकसभा में तीन तलाक बिल पेश कर दिया है. इस बिल के पेश होते ही सदन में हंगामा शुरू हो गया. स्पीकर ओम बि़ड़ला ने कहा कि मंत्री सिर्फ बिल पेश करने की अनुमति मांग रहे हैं और किसी सदस्य की आपत्ति है तो फिर मैं जवाब देने के लिए तैयार हूं. इसके बाद हंगामे के बीच रविशंकर प्रसाद ने तीन तलाक बिल लोकसभा में पेश कर दिया है. कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर ने बिल का ड्राफ्ट का विरोध किया है. उन्होंने कहा कि इस बिल से मुस्लिम महिलाओं के हितों की रक्षा नहीं होगी बल्कि उनकी दिक्कतों और बढ़ जाएंगी. थरूर के बाद ओवैसी ने भी तीन तलाक बिल का विरोध किया है. स्पीकर ने कहा कि आप बिल पर चर्चा हो तब इसके खिलाफ बोलना अभी तो सिर्फ बिल सदन में रखा गया है.

नागपुर : देश का सबसे बड़ा सरकारी बैंक एसबीआई अपने ग्राहकों को बेहतर सर्विस देने के लिए लगातार कदम उठाता रहता है. कुछ महीनों पहले ही बैंक ने एक खास सर्विस की शुरुआत की है. इस सर्विस के तहत अगर ग्राहक अपना ATM कार्ड किसी वजह से घर पर भूल जाते हैं तो बिना टेंशन कैश निकाल सकते हैं. SBI की ओर से सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो शेयर कर इस सुविधा के बारे में विस्‍तार से समझाया गया है. आइए जानते हैं कि आखिर कैसे बिना एटीएम कार्ड के भी कैश निकाला जा सकता है.

दरअसल, एसबीआई के YONO ऐप पर “योनो कैश” नाम से एक सुविधा दी जाती है. इसके तहत ग्राहक बिना कार्ड इस्तेमाल के एसबीआई के “योनो कैश” एटीएम से पैसे निकाल सकते हैं. हालांकि इस सुविधा का लाभ उठाने के लिए आपके फोन में एसबीआई के YONO ऐप का इन्‍स्‍टॉल होना अनिवार्य है.

कैसे उठाएं फायदा ?

इसके लिए सबसे पहले YONO ऐप ओपन कर आपको ‘योनो कैश’ सेलेक्ट करना होगा. इसके बाद उतनी नकदी राशि को एंटर करें जितने की आपको जरूरत है. अगले स्‍टेप में आपको 6 डिजिट का ट्रांजेक्शन पिन का चयन करना है. इस पिन की जरूरत एटीएम से पैसे निकालते वक्‍त पड़ेगी. इसके अलावा मोबाइल पर एक मैसेज आएगा, जिसमें एक ट्रांजेक्शन नंबर होगा.

अब आगे क्‍या ? 

अब आपको स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के एटीएम पर जाना होगा. इसके बाद एटीएम मशीन के स्‍क्रीन पर ‘योना कैश’ विकल्प चुनना है. फिर मैसेज के जरिए मिले ट्रांजेक्शन नंबर को एंटर करें.

इसके बाद निकासी राशि टाइप कर ‘योनो ऐप’ में सेलेक्ट 6 डिजिट का पिन एंटर करना है. पिन डालने के बाद आपको कैश मिल जाएगा.

ग्राहक को पिन और ट्रांजेक्‍शन नंबर दोनों की मदद से जल्‍द कैश निकाल लेना होगा वर्ना 1 घंटे के भीतर यह नंबर अवैध हो जाएंगे.

2017 में ऐप हुआ था लॉन्‍च

बता दें कि एसबीआई ने योनो ऐप को नवंबर 2017 में पेश किया गया था. फरवरी, 2019 तक योनो को 1.80 करोड़ से अधिक बार डाउनलोड किया जा चुका है और इसके 70 लाख से अधिक सक्रिय यूजर्स हैं. वहीं एसबीआई के अभी 42 करोड़ ग्राहक हैं.

नागपूर : तडीपार असतानाही मोक्कातील आरोपीच्या मदतीने घरफोड्या करणाऱ्या दोन गुन्हेगारांसह चौघांना बेलतरोडी पोलिसांनी सापळा रचून अटक केली. सनी सुरेंद्र चव्हाण (वय २०,रा. वाल्मिकीनगर), प्रशांत सुभाषराव कांबळे (वय २८,रा. बारासिग्नल), स्टीफन रॉबिनसन लाल (वय १९,रा.इंदिरानगर) व सनी राजा तांबे (वय १९, रा. बारासिग्नल),अशी अटकेतील घरफोड्यांची नावे आहेत.

सनीला दोन वर्षांसाठी शहर व जिल्ह्यातून तडीपार करण्यात आले आहे. तर, प्रशांत कांबळे हा मोक्कातील आरोपी असून सध्या तो जामिनावर आहे. १३ जूनला सप्तगिरीनगर येथील राजदीप देविदास उताने यांच्याकडे घरफोडी झाली.

याप्रकरणी बेलतरोडी पोलिसांनी घरफोडीचा गुन्हा दाखल केला. बेलतरोडी पोलिस स्टेशनचे वरिष्ठ पोलिस निरीक्षक विजय तलवारे, निरीक्षक दिलीप साळुंखे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली वीरेंद्र केदारे, हेडकॉन्स्टेबल अविनाश ठाकरे, शिपाई विजय श्रीवास, गोपाल देशमुख, मिलिंद पटले, रितेश ढेंगे, प्रशांत सोनुलकर, नितीन बावणे, कुणाल लांडगे, दिनेश खेडकर, कमलेश गणेर, सुखदेव वटाने, निश्चय बढिये, दीपक तऱ्हेकर, राहुल धोटे यांनी गुप्त माहितीच्या आधारे आधी प्रशांतला व त्याने दिलेल्या माहितीच्या आधारे अन्य तिघांना अटक केली. पोलिसांनी त्यांच्याकडून मोटरसायकल, चाकू व अन्य साहित्य जप्त केले.

२० वर्षीय नवविवाहितेवर सामूहिक अत्याचार

नागपूर : रस्त्याने जात असलेल्या २० वर्षीय नविवाहितेचे अपहरण करून तिच्यावर दोन विद्यार्थ्यांनी सामूहिक अत्याचार केला. ही खळबळजनक घटना देवलापारमध्ये दोन दिवसांपूर्वी घडली. देवलापार पोलिसांनी सामूहिक अत्याचाराचा गुन्हा दाखल करून दोन विद्यार्थ्यांना अटक केली आहे.

आकाश केशव सलामे (वय १९) व शुभम ज्ञानराव धुर्वे (वय १८, दोन्ही रा. दुयापार), अशी अटकेतील विद्यार्थ्यांची नावे आहेत. आकाश हा बीए प्रथम वर्षाला शिकतो. शुभम हा नुकताच बारावी पास झाला. पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, पीडित विवाहितेचे वर्षभरापूर्वी लग्न झाले. ती माहेरी आली होती.

मंगळवारी सायंकाळी ती मैत्रिणीकडे गेली. मैत्रिणीला भेटून ती पायी घरी जात होती. याचवेळी आकाश, शुभम व अन्य एक अल्पवयीन मुलगा ट्रिपलसीट मोटरसायकलने जात होते. विवाहिता एकटी असल्याचे बघून शुभमने अल्पवयीन मुलाला घरी पाठविले. त्यानंतर दोघांनी विवाहितेचे तोंड दाबून तिला बळजबरीने नदीजवळ घेऊन गेले. तिच्यावर अत्याचार केला. विवाहिता बेशुद्ध झाली.

काही वेळाने ती शुद्धीवर आली व घरी गेली. तिने नातेइकांना घटनेची माहिती दिली. नातेवाइकासह विवाहितेने देवलापार पोलिस ठाणे गाठत तक्रार दिली. पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल केला. या प्रकरणाचा तपास रामटेकच्या उपविभागीय पोलिस अधिकारी नयन आलुरकर यांच्याकडे सोपिवण्यात आला. आलुरकर यांनी दोघांना अटक केली. अटकेतील विद्यार्थ्यांची २४ जूनपर्यंत पोलिस कोठडी घेण्यात आली आहे.

नागपुर : शहर में पानी की समस्या पर गुरुवार 20 जून को मनपा की आमसभा में विपक्ष और सत्तापक्ष दोनों ने स्थगन प्रस्ताव रखा। स्थगन प्रस्ताव प्रश्नकाल के पहले सुनने के मामले पर जमकर बहस हुई। सत्तापक्ष नेता ने कहा कि दिसंबर माह में पानी की सभा की रिपोर्ट 6 माह भी ना देने पर नाराजगी व्यक्त करते हुए निर्णय लिया गया कि उक्त कार्रवाई की रिपोर्ट 28 जून तक नहीं आई तो मामले का जिम्मेदार मनपा आयुक्त को माना जाएगा और विभाग प्रमुख सहित संबंधित अधिकारियों पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी। इस पर कार्यकारी महापौर ने सूचना को मंजूरी दे दी।

आमसभा में पानी के विषय पर स्थगन प्रस्ताव के चलते शुरुआत से ही हंगामा खड़ा हो गया। कांग्रेस नगरसेवक प्रफुल्ल गुड़धे और भाजपा नगरसेवक धर्मपाल मेश्राम ने पानी की समस्या को लेकर स्थगन प्रस्ताव रखा। विपक्ष के सवालों पर जवाब देते हुए सत्तापक्ष नेता संदीप जोशी ने कहा कि मुझे प्रशासन पर तीव्र नाराजगी है कि दिसंबर माह की कार्रवाई की रिपोर्ट अब तक नहीं दी गई यह बहुत ही गलत बात है। यदि मामले की रिपोर्ट 28 जून तक नहीं दी तो मामले का जिम्मेदार मनपा आयुक्त अभिजीत बांगर को माना जाएगा और विभाग प्रमुख व संबंधित अधिकारियों पर तत्काल निलंबन की कार्रवाई की जाएगी। इन पर कार्रवाई करने की अधिकारी हमारे पास है।

नगरसेवक गुड़धे आपत्ति दर्ज करवाते हुए कहा था कि 6 माह पूर्व दिसंबर में भी पानी के विषय को लेकर सभा हुई थी लेकिन हैरानी की बात यह है कि अब तक उसकी रिपोर्ट नहीं आई ऐसे में चर्चा करने से कोई अर्थ नहीं निकलने वाला है। जवाब देना होगा कि कार्रवाई की रिपोर्ट क्यों नहीं दी गई। पानी का संकट शहर में गहराया हुआ है और आचार संहिता खत्म हुए करीब एक माह हो चुका है लेकिन उसके बाद भी सत्तापक्ष गंभीर नहीं है।

पालकमंत्री ने बयान दिया कि पानी की कमी नहीं है। मीडिया विपक्ष पर सवाल खड़े कर रही है, मैं पूछता हूं कि यदि कोई आंदोलन नहीं करेगा तो क्या पानी की कमी नहीं मानी जाएगी। चर्चा में संदीप सहारे, नितीन साठवणे, जितेन्द्र घोड़ेस्वर, कमलेश चौधरी आदि नगरसेवकों ने हिस्सा लिया।

ओसीडब्ल्यू पर हो एफआईआर

विपक्ष नेता तानाजी वनवे ने कहा कि नागरिकों को गंदा पानी देने वाली बांटने वाली ऑरेंज सिटी वॉटर (ओसीडब्ल्यू) पर एफआईआर किया जाए। पानी की टंकी से लाखों लीटर पानी फैलता रहता है, पानी का लीकेज अब तक ओसीडब्ल्यू बंद नहीं कर पाई है।

विपक्ष नेता पर कांग्रेस नगरसेवक ने उठाई उंगली

कांग्रेस नगरसेवक हरीश ग्वालबंशी ने कहा कि विपक्ष नेता का काम सत्तापक्ष को आईना दिखाने का होता है लेकिन हमें समझ ही नहीं आता कि विपक्ष नेता किसकी तरफ है या फिर वह सत्तापक्ष से मिले हुए है। तालाबों के रखरखाव पर जमकर प्रशासन को घेरा और गोरेवाड़ा में रास्ता ना मिलने के कारण जेसीबी खड़ी होने पर जनता के पैसे का दुउर्पयोग होने का आरोप लगाया। सवालों पर जलप्रदाय कार्यकारी अभियंता श्वेता बनर्जी ने बताया कि वह पहले 730 एमएलडी पानी देते थे और अभी 670 से 680 एमएलडी पानी सप्लाई कर रहे है अब तक सिर्फ 40 एमएलडी पानी की कटौती की गई है।

महापौर पर फेंके पर्चे

पानी के विषय पर चर्चा का मौका ना देने से नाराज निर्दलीय नगरसेविका आभा पांडे गुस्सा में आकर गैलरी में पहुंच गई और महापौर के ऊपर पर्चे फेंक दिए। वह बोली की दादागिरी चल रही है कोई सुनने के लिए तैयार नहीं है। मैं ऐसी सभा का बहिष्कार करती हूं।
