RBI to issue New 100 Rupee Note shortly

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Thursday said it would issue new Rs. 100 banknotes “shortly”. The new banknote of Rs. 100 denomination will be of the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series, the central bank said. The new banknote of Rs. 100 will be in the base colour of lavender and will have a motif of Rani Ki Vav – a heritage site located in Gujarat – on the reverse side. The existing banknotes of Rs. 100, issued by the RBI in the earlier series, will continue to be legal tender.

Here are five things to know about the new Rs. 100 banknote:

1. The dimensions of the new Rs. 100 banknote will be 66 mm x 142 mm.

2. Printing and supply of the new Rs. 100 banknote “will gradually increase”, the RBI said.

3. The note has other designs, geometric patterns aligning with the overall colour scheme, both at the obverse and reverse.

4. On the front side, also known as obverse, the new Rs. 100 banknote will have features such as a see-through register with the denominational numeral 100 in the Devnagari script.

5. On the reverse side, the Rs. 100 note will have the year of printing on the left and the Swachh Bharat logo with slogan.

राज्यातील मेगा नोकर भरतीत मराठा समाजासाठी १६ टक्के आरक्षण: मुख्यमंत्री

राज्य सरकारने भरतीसाठी घोषित केलेल्या शासकीय सेवेतील ७२ हजार पदांपैकी १६ टक्के जागा मराठा समाजासाठी आरक्षित असतील, अशी महत्त्वपूर्ण माहिती मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी विधान परिषदेत दिली.

विधान परिषदेत गुरुवारी आमदार विनायक मेटे आणि विरोधी पक्षनेते धनंजय मुंडे यांनी मराठा आरक्षणाचा मुद्दा उपस्थित केला. यावर मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी निवेदन दिले. मुख्यमंत्री म्हणाले, राज्य सरकारतर्फे केल्या जाणाऱ्या मेगा नोकर भरतीमध्ये मराठा समाजासाठी १६ टक्के जागा आरक्षित ठेवल्या जाणार आहेत. मराठा आरक्षणासंदर्भातील निर्णय सध्या हायकोर्टाच्या अखत्यारित आहे. त्यामुळे निकालानंतरच हा बॅकलॉग भरला जाईल, असे त्यांनी सांगितले.

दरम्यान, मराठा आरक्षणासाठी परळीत ३० तासापासून ठिय्या आंदोलन सुरू आहे. बीड जिल्ह्यात आणि राज्याच्या तालुक्यांमध्ये हे आंदोलन सुरू आहे. आंदोलनकर्ते हटायला तयार नाही. आंदोलनाचा वणवा पेटण्याआधी सरकारने आरक्षणाचा निर्णय घ्यावा अशी मागणी धनंजय मुंडे यांनी केली.

सरकार लवकरच ७० हजार जागांची भरती करणार आहे. आरक्षण नसेल तर या जागांच्या भरतीमध्ये आम्हाला स्थान मिळणार नाही अशी भीती मराठा समाजातील तरुणांमध्ये पसरली आहे, असे त्यांनी सभागृहात सांगितले.

CM Devendra Fadanvis launches online registration portal for lottery of MHADA flats

Devendra Fadanvis, Chief Minister, launched the portal for online registration for total 9,018 flats under Konkan Housing and Area Development Board and 1,514 flats under Nagpur Housing and Area Development Boards under Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), on Wednesday. The flats will be allotted through draw of lots, after completion of registration process.

The programme was held at Ramgiri, the official bungalow of the Chief Minister. Prakash Maheta, Housing Minister; Ravindra Vaykar, Minister of State; Sanjay Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary; Milind Mhaiskar, Vice-Chairman of MHADA; Sanjay Bhimanwar, Chief Executive Officer of Nagpur Board were present on this occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that more houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) should be included in the draw of lots. He said that plan should be prepared to construct 10 lakh affordable houses in next couple of years.

MHADA constituent Konkan Housing and Area Development Board has supported PMAY by declaring a record sale of 9,018 flats through lottery while 1,514 flats will be included in the draw of lots from Nagpur Board area. The housing units under Nagpur Housing and Area Development Board are located in Wanjra, Beltarodi, Chikhli Devsthan, and Dabha (Sandeep Dwellers Pvt Ltd or SDPL) areas in Nagpur, New Chandrapur in Chandrapur district, and Hinganghat in Wardha district. There are total 1,347 housing units for economically weaker section (EWS) category at Wanjra, Beltarodi, Chikhli Devsthan, New Chandrapur, Hinganghat, and Dabha (Sandeep Dwellers Pvt Ltd); and 77 units at Wanjra and Dabha (SDPL), and 90 units at Chikhli Devsthan and New Chandrapur.

For allotment of the houses through draw of lots, the entire process of lottery will be conducted online. Those interested in acquiring a home under the scheme will have to register online on the portal launched on Wednesday. The registration process started from 2 pm on Wednesday. The registered applicants may submit their applications online from 2 pm on Thursday (July 19). The registration may be done till 11.59 pm on August 8. The deadline for submission of applications is 11.59 pm on August 9.

2) Applicant must have a Domicile Certificate proving they’ve stayed in Maharashtra for 15 years.

3) Income proof of financial year (average monthly income excluding reimbursement)

Economically Weaker Section – Up to Rs 25000

Middle Income Group – Rs 50,001-Rs 75000

Lower-Income Group Rs 25,001 -Rs 50,000

High-Income Group – Rs 75,001 and above

4) Applicant must have pan card

How to apply

Step 1) Log on to the MHADA Lottery Scheme website.

Step 2) Register on the portal. You will need to create a username and fill basic info.

Step 3) Ensure mobile number works properly.

Step 4) Once username is created, login online. Click the scheme you need and personal details such as income group, reservation category and applicant type. Enter scheme code, etc. Shortlist your location. Give your permanent address. Mention bank details. Confirm all details.

Step 5) Pay application fee by making payment through demand draft or online through debit/credit card or NEFT/RTGS netbanking.

आयसीसी वनडे रँकिंग: कोहली चे अव्वल स्थान कायम

टीम इंडियाचा कर्णधार विराट कोहली याने आयसीसी वनडे रँकिंगमधील आपले अव्वल स्थान कायम राखत कारकीर्दीतील सर्वश्रेष्ठ ९११ अंकांची कमाई केली आहे. याबरोबरच कुलदीप यादवनं सहाव्या स्थानासह गोलंदाजांच्या यादीत १० गोलंदाजांमध्ये स्थान पटकावले आहे.

कोहली चे अव्वल स्थान कायम

Nawazuddin Siddiqui to Make Tamil Film Debut

Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming untitled feature, starring Rajinikanth, has beem the centre of speculation for quite some while now. While there was an initial mystery as to who would bag the female lead, it has now been confirmed that Simran will be starring opposite the Superstar. In a further twist, Bollywood actor and indie cinema darling Nawazuddin Siddiqui will also be playing a central role in the film.

The project would mark Nawazuddin’s debut in the Tamil-language film industry; the Hindi actor was last seen in Netflix’s Sacred Games, where his role as Mumbai gangster Ganesh Gaitonde was highly lauded.

Sun Pictures, which is backing the picture announced the same on Twitter: “We are happy to announce that for the first time, @SimranbaggaOffc and @Nawazuddin_S will be acting with Superstar Rajini in #SuperstarWithSunPictures.”

Apart from Rajinikanth and Simran, the Subbaraj-helmed feature will also star Bobby Simhaa, Sananth Reddy and Megha Akash. The film is being shot in locations as varied as Dehradun, Darjeeling and Chennai, with the last reportedly having specially-created sets, which will be the scene of the climax.

Also On Wednesday, the actor, who is otherwise not so active on social media, on Wednesday left everyone surprised after his post. The ‘Manjhi’ actor took to his Twitter account and shared a photo with a mystery woman in a foreign land. He captioned the picture as, “Ye Ladki mere ‘ रोम रोम में ‘ hai.”

राज्यात पावसाचा जोर कमी होणार, 25 जुलैनंतर खंड पडण्याचे संकेत

नागपूर : सध्या राज्यात मान्सून सक्रिय असल्यामुळे बऱ्याच भागात पावसाने हजेरी लावली आहे. परंतु १८ जुलै पासून राज्यात पावसाचा जोर कमी होण्यास सुरवात होईल, असा अंदाज हवामान तज्ज्ञांनी व्यक्त केला आहे.

23जुलैपर्यंत विदर्भ, मराठवाडा आणि मध्य-महाराष्ट्रात सार्वत्रिक व दमदार पावसाची शक्यता नसल्यामुळे काही भागातच हलका पाऊस पडेल. दरम्यान पावसाचे प्रमाण कमी होणार असल्यामुळे कमाल तापमानात वाढ होईल.

23 ते 25 जुलैमध्ये विदर्भात परत एकदा पावसाच्या प्रमाणात वाढ होण्याची काही शक्यता आहे. त्यानंतर राज्यातील बऱ्याच भागातील पावसात दीर्घकालीन खंड पडण्याचे संकेत हवामान तज्ज्ञांनी दिले आहेत. कोकण आणि मुंबई परिसरातदेखील या आठवड्यात पावसाचा जोर कमी राहील. शेतकऱ्यांनी हवामानाच्या या स्थितीनुसार शेतीचे नियोजन करावे, असे आवाहन कृषी विभागाकडून करण्यात आले आहे.

34 Marathi NMC schools closed due to lack of students

Nagpur: About 34 Marathi mediums schools run by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) were closed down due to shortage of students. This was admitted to by the state government on Wednesday to a starred query by MLC Anil Sole and others.

Minister of state for home (urban) Ranjit Patil informed that students from these schools were adjusted into nearby NMC schools, as mandated by the Right to Education (RTE). He suggested that these schools should be converted into semi-English medium schools to attract the students.

Participating in the discussions, chairman Ramraje Nimbalkar pointed out that this situation was prevalent across the state due to deteriorating quality of teachers and facilities. He stressed on enactment of a law to reverse this trend of declining enrolment ratio in these schools.

The minister also declined members allegations that closed schools were handed over to the private parties for their commercial operations. He denied the charges that these abandoned schools had become den for the antisocial elements.

“Most of these schools were operated from the rented premises and we’ve handed their possession back to their owners. In others, the NMC had started its own offices,” Patil said.

Anil Bhosle suggested to form a panel under a vice chancellor to study this declining trend and come out with measures to improve the situation. Nago Ganar sought to know whether NMC’s general body had taken the decision to close these schools.

“Today’s parents want at least the semi English mediums schools and activity-based learning. In earlier times, there used to be bilingual schools where English was used to be introduced in fifth standard and those were popular. We’ve implemented this pattern in Mumbai where about 700 schools were converted into semi-English,” Patil said.

He also accepted legislators suggestions to handover such ailing schools to managements of those who were successfully running their own institutions.

अब कोचिंग क्लासेज पर राज्य सरकार कसेगी शिकंजा

नागपूर : शिक्षा का बाजारीकरण, लूट व छात्रों से हजारों रुपए लेकर टेस्ट परीक्षाओं की तैयारी के साथ ही 11वीं 12वीं की पढ़ाई कराने का दावा कर रहे ट्यूशन क्लासेज पर अब राज्य सरकार शिकंजा कसेगी। बता दे की इस तरह की क्लासेज को रोकने के लिए बकायदा कानूनी नियम बनाए जा रहे हैं। क्लासेज पर शिकंजा कसने की कड़ी में 11वीं व 12वीं के विद्यार्थियों के लिए संबंधित कालेजों में उपस्थिति को अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है। बायोमेट्रिक प्रणाली से विद्यार्थियों की उपस्थिति दर्ज की जाएगी। अनुपस्थित रहने वाले विद्यार्थियों को परीक्षा में प्रवेश नहीं दिया जाएगा। साथ ही जिन कालेजों ने पैकेज वाले ट्यूशन अर्थात इंटीग्रेटेड क्लासेज को मान्यता दे रखी हैं, उन कॉलेजों की मान्यता भी रद्द कर दी जाएगी। यह जानकारी विधानसभा में ध्यानाकर्षण सूचना के तहत उठाए गए प्रश्नों के उत्तर में शिक्षा मंत्री विनोद तावड़े ने दी।

तावड़े ने कहा कि निजी कोचिंग क्लासेज के नाम पर शिक्षा क्षेत्र में शुरु इंटीग्रेटेड क्लासेज की व्यवस्था शिक्षा क्षेत्र को लगा कीड़ा है। इस कीड़े को रोकने के लिए राज्य सरकार पूरा प्रयास कर रही है। पराग अलवणी, नरेंद्र पवार व अन्य सदस्यों ने शिक्षा के बाजारीकरण का मामला उठाया था। सदस्यों ने कहा कि राज्य में 50 से अधिक निजी शिक्षा क्लासेज चल रहे हैं। अधिकाधिक अंक दिलाने का प्रलोभन देकर विद्यार्थियों व पालकों से लाखों रुपए की लूट की जा रही है। शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि शिक्षा के बाजारीकरण को रोकना ही होगा। इंटीग्रेटेड क्लास में प्रवेश के बाद विद्यार्थियों के पालकों की भावनात्मक लूट व ब्लैकमेलिंग होती है। इंटीग्रेटेड के बाजारीकरण को रोकने के लिए 11 वीं व 12 वीं के विद्यार्थियों की हाजिरी बायोमेट्रिक प्रणाली से चल रही है। इस संबंध में पालकों को भी जागरुक किया जा रहा है। ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में जिन कालेज ने इंटीग्रेटेड को मान्यता दी है, उन कालेज की मान्यता रद्द कर दी जाएगी।

राज्य में निजी ट्यूशन क्लासेज पर नियंत्रण के लिए अधिनियम तैयार किया जाएगा। इसके लिए शिक्षा आयुक्त की अध्यक्षता में समिति गठित की गई थी। समिति ने सरकार को रिपोर्ट दी है। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार कार्यवाही की जा रही है। शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि घरेलू क्लासेज पर यह कानून लागू नहीं रहेगा। क्लासेज पर रोक लगाने के लिए बांबे उच्च न्यायालय में जनहित याचिका दाखिल की गई थी। न्यायालय के निर्देश पर पूर्व कुलगुरु प्रा.अशोक प्रधान की अध्यक्षता में समिति नियुक्त की गई थी। पढ़ाई खर्च पूरा करने के लिए अन्य विद्यर्थियों को घर पर पढ़ा रहे विद्यार्थी पर कार्रवाई नहीं होगी। घर खर्च चलाने के लिए कई महिलाएं भी ट्यूशन पढ़ाती है, उन्हें जांच के दायरे में शामिल नहीं किया जाएगा।

Nagpur : The Valediction Ceremony for the Orientation Programme “Uttarayan 2018” for the newly promoted Assistant Commissioners of Income Tax (ACsIT) was held at National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Nagpur on Wednesday, 18 th of July, 2018. Air Vice Marshal Manavendra Singh, AVSM VrC VSM, was the Chief Guest for the function.
As many as 172 newly promoted ACsIT have completed their Orientation

Training of eight weeks at NADT and will now return to their field postings to play
their part in the administration of tax in India. At the outset, Dr P.S. Puniha, Principal Director General, NADT in his address, welcomed the Chief Guest and brought out that tax evasion is no more an individual effort but one which involves many to meet this objective .

To counter this tax evasion officers passing out need to work together in a collaborative manner as it is only through such work that success would be achieved. Highlighting the necessity of continuing and building upon the camaraderie that the officers developed during their stay at NADT he exhorted them to maintain this team spirit all through their career as it will hold them in good stead – individually and in the performance of their work.

Ms Nausheen J. Ansari, Addl. Director General (Training)-2, NADT, presented an overview of the Orientation Programme. She stated that considering the long and varied field experience of the officer trainees and their exposure to Income Tax, the training programme was so designed as to emphasise more upon imparting of knowledge of allied laws, modern accounting software, digital forensics, forensic accounting, soft skills and personality development through management modules, exposure to financial markets and techniques of investigation particularly in the areas in which the trainees had no exposure, such as International Taxation/Transfer Pricing, assessment of search cases etc.

She apprised the house that under the leadership and guidance of Pr. DG (Training.), NADT, for the first time in this batch collaborative learning received great emphasis and accordingly the collaborative learning project came into being. In this project, theofficer trainees of the Induction Batch i.e. the 71 st batch of IRS and those of the orientation programme worked together on a problem bringing youth and experience together on the same platform. This provided the opportunity for all trainees to work together in groups and to better understand one another’s strengths and how working together helps in multiplying the strength rather than merely adding on to it.

She also informed that an International Attachment is also a part of the Orientation programme to give exposure of International Tax Administration systems and best practices to the trainees, which is expected to take place in near future. At the outset, the Chief Guest, Air Vice Marshal Manavendra Sigh, AVSM VrC VSM underlined the importance of learning and state that learning never stops. He further stated that tax administration is an onerous task as it is and far greater challenges lay ahead for the tax administrators of this country as the economy grows with time.

He stated that while the armed forces guard the nation, the tax administrators do their bit in leading the nation to the path of growth and prosperity. He said that this way both these forces invest themselves in the idea called India.

He exhorted the outgoing officers to put in their best efforts to increase the narrow tax base of the country. He also advised the officers to grow into a much more taxpayer friendly workforce.The Chief Guest concluded his address by extendinghis best wishes to the officers who embark to serve the nation and exhorted them to put in their best efforts to accomplish tasksassigned by seeing them through to the very end. Ms Leena Srivastava ADG( Trg)-3 administered the Tax Administrators prayer to the Officer Trainees. Shri V. Roy Jose, Addl. Director and the Course Director of the training programme proposed the formal vote of thanks. The function concluded with National Anthem.

संतप्त मनपा कर्मचा-याने विष पिऊन केला विधान भवन समोर आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न

नागपूर : नागपूर महानगरपालिकेतील एका कर्मचा-याने विष पिऊन नागपूर विधान भवन समोर आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न केला. पोलिसांनी तत्काल त्याला ताब्यात घेतले ही घटना बुधवारी सकाळी 11.30 वाजण्याच्या सुमारास ही घटना विधान भवनासमोर घडली. मात्र सतर्क पोलिसांनी वेळीच हस्तक्षेप करत आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न करणाऱ्या कर्मचाऱ्याला ताब्यात घेतले.

प्राप्त माहिती नुसार प्रकाश बर्डे असे या मनपा कर्मचा-याचे नाव आहे. मागील काळात मनपाने 17 कर्मचा-यांना नोकरीतून काढले होते. त्या विरूद्ध या कर्मचा-यांनी न्यायालयाचे दरवाजे ठोठावले होते. मात्र न्यायालयाने कर्मचा-यांच्या बाजूने निकाल देऊनही मनपाने त्यांना कामावर रुजू करून घेतले नाही. यामुळे संतप्त कर्मचा-यांमध्ये असंतोष खदखदत होता. आपल्याला सरकार समक्ष न्याय मिळावा या हेतूने प्रकाश बर्डे याने विष पिऊन आत्महत्या करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला.

Indoco to conduct Early Detection of Oral Cancer Campaigns across India

Nagpur :- Oral Cancer is the most common form of cancer and almost 50% cancer cases are detected in the Head and Neck region. Around 80% cases are diagnosed in the advance stage, which makes it all the more difficult to treat. Oral Cancer is the No.1 cause for death amongst all types of cancers in India. It appears as a growth or sore in the mouth that does not go away. It includes cancers of the lips, tongue, cheeks, floor of the mouth, hard and soft palate, sinuses and pharynx (throat) & can be life threatening, if not diagnosed and treated early.

Indoco Remedies Limited., a research oriented Pharma Company headquartered in Mumbai, rolled out their ‘Early Detection of Oral Cancer Campaign’ on the occasion of World Head & Neck Cancer Day in Mumbai on 27th July, 2017. This campaign will be conducted throughout India with the help of healthcare specialists. Saying no to tobacco is the need of the hour to decrease the menace of oral cancers. The prime modality of treatment for oral cancers is surgery, with the advanced ones also requiring radiotherapy and chemotherapy, in addition.

It is critical to understand the early warning signs of oral cancer, and to seek medical help at the earliest. Any non-healing ulcer in the mouth, bleeding from the mouth, recent onset decrease in mouth opening, nodes/masses in neck, unexplained oral pain, change in voice, pain or difficulty in swallowing are some of the x,arning signs, which must prompt seeking medical help. This requires a dedicated and concerted effort from health care professionals, NGOs, government, social workers, and society” advised Dr. Abhishek Vaidya.

In order to increase awareness for early detection of oral cancer, Indoco Remedies, through its division, Warren NxGen, is conducting special seminars for medical practitioners. Further, these medical practitioners will actively work for early detection of oral cancer and counsel patients detected with precancerous lesions. बीएमडब्ल्यू G 310 R आणि G 310 GS या बाईक भारतात लाँच

बीएमडब्ल्यू या लक्झरी कार उत्पादन क्षेत्रातील आघाडीच्या कंपनीनं आता भारतामधल्या आकर्षक अशा मोटरबाईक क्षेत्रातही प्रवेश केला आहे. या कंपनीच्या दोन बहुप्रतिक्षित G 310 R आणि बीएमडब्लू G 310 GS या बाईक भारतीय बाजारपेठेत दाखल झाल्या आहेत. २.९९ लाखापासून या बाईकची किंमत सुरु होते. आकारमानाचा विचार करता G 310 R आणि G 310 GS या दोन्ही लहान बाईक्स आहेत. या दोन बाईक्सपैकी G 310 GS ही बाईक तुम्हाला साहसी मोहिमेमध्ये उत्तम साथ देऊ शकते.

या दोन्ही बाईक्समध्ये ३१३ सीसी सिंगल सिलिंडर लिक्वीड कूल इंजिन वापरण्यात आले आहे. या बाईकचा टॉर्क ९५०० आरपीएम आहे. बीएमडब्लू चा G 310 R टॉप स्पीड ताशी १४५ किलोमीटर आहे. त्याचेच भावंड असलेले G 310 GS ताशी वेग १४३ किलोमीटर वेग आहे. बीएमडब्लू G 310 R ची किंमत २ लाख ९९ हजार आहे तर GS ची किंमत ३ लाख ४९ हजार आहे.

मिग-२१ हिमाचल प्रदेशात कोसळले, वैमानिकाचा मृत्यू

कांग्रा – हवाई दलाचे मिग-२१ लढाऊ विमान हिमाचल प्रदेशातील कांग्रा येथे कोसळल्याची घटना आज घटली आहे. अपघातानंतर विमानाचा वैमानिक बेपत्ता झाला होता. त्याचा मृत्यू झाल्याची माहिती समोर येत आहे.

मिग-२१ हे विमान पंजाबमधील पठाणकोट येथून निघाले असताना त्याचा नियंत्रण कक्षाशी संपर्क तुटला. त्यानंतर कांग्रा जावळीतील पट्टा जाटियान येथे दुर्घटना घडली. पोलीस घटनास्थळी पोहोचले आहेत. बेपत्ता झालेल्या वैमानिकाचा शोध घेण्यासाठी शोधमोहीम घेण्यात आली. मात्र वैमानिकाचा मृत्यू झाल्याची माहिती समोर येत आहे.

भारताचा आघाडीचा भालाफेकपटू नीरज चोप्रा ने फ्रान्सच्या सोतेविले शहरात सुरु असलेल्या जागतिक अॅथलेटिक्स चॅम्पियनशीप स्पर्धेत सुवर्णपदकाची कमाई केली आहे. ८५.१७ मी. लांब भाला फेकत नीरजने भारताला सुवर्णपदक मिळवून दिलं.

नागपूर पोलिसांनी केलि ३० लाखांची ब्राऊन शुगर जप्त

नागपूर : कळमना – कामठी मार्गावरील स्वामी विवेकानंदनगर परिसरात ब्राऊन शुगरची तस्करी करणाऱ्या एका महिलेला आणि पुरुषांला अटक करण्यात आली आहे. मुंबई तून नागपुरात तस्करी करत आणलेली ३० लाखांची ब्राऊन शुगर गुन्हे शाखेच्या अमली पदार्थ विरोधी पथकारने जप्त केली आहे. शहरात ब्राऊन शुगरची तस्करी करणाऱ्या महिला आणि पुरुषाचा सुगावा पोलिसांना लागलेला होता. ब्राऊन शुगरची तस्करी होणार आहे याची माहिती पोलिसांनी मिळताच परिसरात सापळा रचत आरोपींना अटक केली.

एक महिला आणि युवक हातात बॅग घेऊन गल्लीतून जात होते. पोलिसांना दिसताच त्यांनी दोघांनाही ताब्यात घेतले. रेवन सीताराम ढोबळे आणि चंदाबाई प्रदीपसिंग ठाकूर अशी ताब्यात घेतलेल्या दोघांची नावे आहेत. त्यांच्याकडून पोलिसांनी ५६१ ग्रॅम ब्राऊन शुगर आणि ४९० ग्रॅम इतर अमली पदार्थ जप्त केले आहेत. आंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारात या अमली पदार्थांची किंमत ३० लाख रुपये आहे. आरोपींविरोधात कळमना ठाण्यात गुन्हा नोंदविण्यात आला आहे.

नागपूर : मुंबई येथील अरबी समुद्रात बांधण्यात येणाऱ्या स्मारकात छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांचा जगातील सर्वात उंच पुतळा असेल. पुतळ्याची उंची कमी केलेली नाही. हे स्मारक पूर्ण करण्याकरिता जेवढा निधी लागेल, तेवढा राज्य शासन देईल असे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी मंगळवारी विधानसभेत सांगितले.

कांग्रेस चे जेष्ठ नेते पृथ्वीराज चव्हाण यांनी यासंदर्भात उपस्थित केलेल्या मुद्याला उत्तर देताना मुख्यमंत्री बोलत होते.

मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस यावेळी म्हणाले, केंद्रीय पर्यावरण विभागाकडे पहिल्यांदा केवळ संकल्प चित्र पाठविण्यात आले होते तो प्रस्ताव नव्हता. हा पुतळा समुद्रात उभारण्यात येणार असल्याने पुतळ्याचे डिझाईन करताना समुद्रातील वारे, लाटा यांचा विचार करून आराखडा तयार करण्यात आला आहे.

समुद्रात हवेचा दाब सहन करू शकेल, अशा पद्धतीने पुतळा व स्मारकाचा आराखडा केला जाईल. पुतळ्याची उंची जी आहे ती कायम राहील उंची कमी केली नाही, असे मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी सांगितले.

इस ओवरफ्लो का आनंद लेने के लिए शहर के सेकड़ो युवा और बुजुर्ग तालाब पर नहाने जाते है |ऐसे ही ओवरफ्लो का आनंद लेते हुवे मंगलवार को लोगो को दहशत का सामना करना पड़ा | ओवरफ्लो पॉइंट पर अचानक एक बदमाश घातक हथियार लेकर ओवरफ्लो का आनंद उठाते छात्रों के पीछे दौड़ पड़ा | वह लोगो के पीछे दौड़ते ही लोग इधर – उधर भागने लगे | लेकिन यह बदमाश बिना किसी भय के सरेआम लोगों के आनंद में खलल डाल हथियार के साथ दहशत फैलाता रहा |

यह बदमाश सब को हथियारों से डरा कर हमला करने की कोशिश करता हुआ साफ दिखाई दे रहा है | समय रहते कुछ लोगों ने उसे समझाकर हिम्मत से उसे पकड़ लिया और उसके हाथ से हथियार छीन लिया |

जानकारी के मुताबिक़ यह व्यक्ति मानसिक रूप से बीमार बताया जा रहा है | लोगो की सतर्कता से उसे शांत किया गया वरना कोई बड़ी दुर्घटना होने से कोई मना नहीं कर सकता था |

मनपा समाजकल्याण विभागाचे ‘चलो चले प्रगति की ओर’ अभियान

नागपूर : ‘उठ भगिनी जागी हो, लघुउद्योगाचा धागा हो’ असा मंत्र देत नागपूर शहरातील बचत गटांच्या महिलांना लघुउद्योगाच्या माध्यमातून प्रगती साधण्याचे आवाहन नागपूर महानगरपालिकेच्या (मनपा) महिला व बालकल्याण समितीच्या सभापती प्रगती पाटील यांनी केले.

नागपूर मनपा समाजकल्याण विभाग तसेच महिला व बालकल्याण समितीच्या वतीने शहरी महिला बचत गटातील महिलांना लघुउद्योगाकडे वळविण्याच्या दृष्टीने ‘चलो चले प्रगति की ओर’ अभियानाला सुरुवात झाली. याअंतर्गत हनुमान नगर झोनमधील महिला बचत गटांच्या सदस्यांकरिता मानेवाडा मार्गावरील मार्कंडेय सभागृहात मंगळवारी (ता. १७) कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते.

यावेळी त्या बोलत होत्या. व्यासपीठावर महिला व बालकल्याण समिती प्रगती पाटील यांच्यासह हनुमान नगर झोन सभापती रूपाली ठाकूर, प्रतोद दिव्या धुरडे, नगरसेविका मंगला खेकरे, विशाखा मोहोड, जयश्री वाडीभस्मे, कल्पना कुंभलकर, मिटकॉनचे ज्ञानेश्वर चौधरी उपस्थित होते.
पुढे बोलताना सभापती प्रगती पाटील म्हणाल्या, स्त्री संसार उत्तम सांभाळते. त्यामुळे व्यवस्थापन हा गुण उपजतच तिच्या अंगी असतो. कुठल्याही गोष्टीचे सुयोग्य व्यवस्थापन ती उत्तमरीत्या करू शकते. लघु उद्योग हा स्त्रीच्या उन्नतीचा मार्ग आहे.

महिला बचत गटाच्या माध्यमातून सामूहिकरीत्या अथवा वैयक्तिक उद्योग महिलांनी सुरू केला तर त्या व्यवसायात योग्य भरारी घेऊ शकतील, असा विश्वास त्यांनी व्यक्त केला. महिलांसाठी शासनाच्या अनेक योजना आहेत. या योजनांची त्यांना माहिती व्हावी, त्याचा लाभ कसा घ्यायचा त्याचे तंत्र माहिती व्हावे, बँकांकडून अर्थसहाय्य मिळविण्यासाठी काय करता येईल, या संपूर्ण बाबीची माहिती एकाच छताखाली व्हावी, याकरिताच सदर अभियानाचे झोननिहाय आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. महिलांनी या अभियानाचा लाभ स्वत:करिता करून घ्यावा, असे आवाहन त्यांनी यावेळी केले.

नगरसेविका विशाखा बांते यांनी यावेळी महिलांना रेशन कार्डचा उपयोग आणि त्यामाध्यमातून शासनाच्या विविध योजनांचा लाभ कसा मिळतो, त्यासाठी महिलांनी काय करायला हवे, याबाबत मार्गदर्शन केले. महिलांना लघु उद्योगाच्या कुठल्याकुठल्या संधी आहेत, याबाबत संबंधित क्षेत्रातील साधन व्यक्तींनी मार्गदर्शन केले. कार्यक्रमाचे संचालन ज्योत्स्ना देशमुख यांनी केले. कार्यक्रमाच्या यशस्वीतेकरिता समुदाय संघटक नीता गोतमारे, योगेश्वर डांगे, कविता खोब्रागडे, संगीता मोटघरे, शशी फुलझेले, सुनंदा रामटेककर, चंद्रकांता गायधने, महिला व बालकल्याण तसेच समाजकल्याण विभागाच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांनी सहकार्य केले.

विविध प्रशिक्षण संस्थांनी दिली माहिती

‘चलो चले प्रगति की ओर’ अभियानाच्या निमित्ताने आयोजित कार्यक्रम स्थळी शासनाच्या विविध योजनांच्या माध्यमातून महिलांना जे मोफत प्रशिक्षण देण्यात येते, त्याची माहिती देणाऱ्या विविध संस्थांचे स्टॉल्स लावण्यात आले होते. डाटा-टेक, सिगमा, समाधान, लावण्य या विविध संस्थांच्या स्टॉल्सला महिलांनी भेटी देऊन प्रशिक्षणाबद्दल माहिती घेतली.

५०० वर महिलांना रोजगार देण्याचा संकल्प

महिलांच्या उन्नतीसाठी सुरू करण्यात आलेल्या ‘चलो चले प्रगति की ओर’ या अभियानाच्या माध्यमातून महिलांना स्वयंरोजगारासाठी उद्युक्त करण्याचा उद्देश आहे. या माध्यमातून सुमारे ५०० वर महिलांना रोजगार देण्याचा संकल्प मनपाच्या महिला व बालकल्याण समितीच्या वतीने करण्यात आला.

गणेशोत्सव व नवरात्रोत्सव पूर्वतयारीचा आढावा

नागपुर :- यंदाचा गणेशोत्सव १३ सप्टेंबरपासून सुरू होत आहे. यावर्षी पर्यावरणपूरक गणेशोत्सव साजरा करण्यावर महानगरपालिका भर देणार असल्याची माहिती महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी दिली. मंगळवारी मनपा मुख्यालयातील डॉ.पंजाबराव देशमुख स्मृती सभागृहात गणेशोत्सव व नवरात्रोत्सव पूर्वतयारी बैठक आयोजित करण्यात आली.

यावेळी स्थायी समिती सभापती वीरेंद्र कुकरेजा, माजी महापौर प्रवीण दटके, वैद्यकीय सेवा व आरोग्य समिती सभापती मनोज चापले, ज्येष्ठ नगरसेवक सुनील अग्रवाल, उपनेते बाल्या बोरकर, उपनेत्या वर्षा ठाकरे, उपायुक्त नितीन कापडनीस, उपायुक्त जयंत दांडेगावकर, आरोग्य अधिकारी (स्वच्छता) डॉ.प्रदीप दासरवार, कार्यकारी अभियंता (जलप्रदाय) संजय गायकवाड, कार्यकारी अभियंता (विद्युत) संजय जयस्वाल, कार्यकारी अभियंता सी.जी.धकाते, कार्यकारी अभियंता राजेश भूतकर, मोती कुकरेजा, गिरीश वासनिक, कार्यकारी अभियंता (स्लम) डी.डी.जांभूळकर, मुख्य अग्निशमन अधिकारी राजेंद्र उचके, प्रामुख्याने उपस्थित होते. प्रारंभी महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी गणेशोत्सवाच्या पूर्वतयारीचा प्रशासनिक आढावा उपायुक्त जयंत दांडेगावकर यांच्यामार्फत घेतला. यावर्षी दहा झोनमधून ११२ कृत्रिम तलावाची मागणी आली आहे.

त्यापैकी काही मागील वर्षी वापरलेले आहेत, ते यावर्षीही वापरण्यायोग्य असल्याची माहिती उपायुक्त जयंत दांडेगावकर यांनी दिली. यावर्षी काही सेंट्रींग तलावांचा वापर करण्यात यावा, असे निर्देश महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी दिले. शहराबाहेर असलेल्या रिकाम्या खाणीही शोधून काढण्यात याव्या, जेणेकरून त्याचा वापर गणेशोत्सवासाठी करता येईल, असे निर्देश महापौरांनी दिले. गणेशोत्सवाच्या एकदिवसाआधी हरतालिका हा महिलांचा सण असतो, त्या सणासाठी गौर विर्सजित करण्यासाठी कृत्रिम तलावांची व्यवस्था करण्यात यावी, असे निर्देश महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी दिले. विसर्जनस्थळी निर्माल्य विसर्जित करण्यासाठी कलश ठेवण्यात यावे, संकलित केलेले निर्माल्य मनपाच्या उद्यानात कम्पोस्टिंगसाठी पाठविण्यात यावे, असे निर्देश महापौरांनी दिले.

गणेश मंडळांच्या परवानगीसाठी प्रत्येक झोनमध्ये एक खिडकी पद्घतीने ठेवण्यात यावी, अशी सूचना महापौर प्रवीण दटके यांनी केली. धर्मादाय ट्रस्ट, अग्निशमन विभाग, एसएनडीएल, पोलिस विभाग, वाहतूक विभाग या सहा विभागांच्या परवानगीसाठी एक खिडकी योजना मनपाच्या दहाही झोनमध्ये सुरू करण्यात यावी, यासाठी महानगरपालिका प्रयत्नशील आहे. परवानगी ऑनलाईन पद्धतीने करता येईल का, याबाबतही विचार करण्यात यावा, असे निर्देश महापौरांनी दिले.याबाबत पालकमंत्र्यांशीही चर्चा करून त्यासंदर्भातील निर्णय घेण्यात येईल, असे महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी सांगितले. कृत्रिम तलावाजवळ व विसर्जन मार्गावर विद्युत व्यवस्था सुरळीत राहिल याची व्यवस्था करण्याचेही निर्देश महापौरांनी दिले. पीओपी मूर्ती विक्रेत्यांनी सर्वात आधी नोंदणी करणे गरजेचे आहे. नोंदणी करताना त्यांना शासनाच्या अटी सांगण्यात याव्यात, अशी सूचना ज्येष्ठ नगरसेवक सुनील अग्रवाल यांनी केली.
मागीलवर्षी शहरातील सक्करदरा, सोनेगाव, गांधीसागर तलावात गणेश मूर्ती विसर्जन पूर्णत: बंद होते. त्यामुळे तलावाचे सौंदर्यीकरण अबाधित राहिले. यंदाही या तलावांवर गणेश विसर्जन न करता कृत्रिम तलाव तयार करून त्यातच लोकांना मूर्ती विसर्जन करण्यासाठी विनंती करण्यात यावी. शिवाय प्रत्येक झोनमधील विसर्जन स्थळांची माहिती देण्यासाठी मागील वर्षी ‘ॲप’चे लोकार्पण करण्यात आले.

त्याचा नागरिकांसह मनपालाही खूप फायदा झाला. यंदाही ‘ॲप’च्या माध्यमातून जास्तीत जास्त लोकांपर्यंत पोहोचण्याचा प्रयत्न करा. नागरिकांची गैरसोय होऊ नये यासाठी नि:शुल्क ‘हेल्पलाईन’ नंबर जाहीर करून त्याची योग्य अंमलबजावणी करण्यात यावी, असेही महापौर श्रीमती जिचकार यांनी सांगितले.

दरवर्षी फुटाळा तलाव येथे मोठ्या मूर्तींचे विसर्जन होत असते. त्यामुळे फुटाळा तलावात प्रदूषणाचे प्रमाण वाढते. यावर्षी फुटाळा तलावावरील प्रदूषणाचे प्रमाण कमी करण्यासाठी महापालिकेद्वारे काही उपाययोजना करता येईल का, याचा विचार करावा, असे महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी सूचित केले.

तलावाला बाजूने अस्थायी स्वरुपात सभोवताल शेड टाकण्यात यावे आणि त्या ठिकाणी सुरक्षारक्षक नेमण्यात यावा, असे निर्देश श्रीमती नंदा जिचकार यांनी दिले. पर्यावरणपूरक गणेशोत्सव साजरा करण्यासाठी शहरातील मोठ्या मंडळांसोबत मंगळवारी २४ जुलैला बैठक राजे रघुजी भोसले नेताजी नगर भवन येथे आयोजित करण्यात आली आहे. या बैठकीला सामाजिक संस्था व झोन सभापती यांना आमंत्रित करण्याचे निर्देश महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी दिले. पर्यावरणपूरक गणेशोत्सव साजरा करण्यासाठी शहरातील सर्व गणेश मंडळांनी पुढाकार घ्यावा, असे आवाहन महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी केले. पर्यावरणपूरक गणोशोत्सव साजरा करण्यासाठी कोणत्याही नवीन कल्पना मंडळाकडे किंवा सामाजिक संस्थेकडे असल्यास त्यांनी सूचवाव्यात, मनपा त्या सूचनांचे स्वागत करेल, असे आवाहन महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी केले.

WhatsApp beta’s new android update might come with a sticker

WhatsApp upcoming Android update 2.18.218 might come with a Sticker pack and it has to be said that the messaging app took quite some time to incorporate stickers. Its competitors such as WeChat, Line, and Telegram already possess this feature.

According to the WaBetaInfo, the beta version of WhatsApp’s update shows two packs. These are ‘Bibimbap Friends” and “Unchi & Rollie”. While Bibimbap Friends is an animate casserole, the Unchi & Rollie is a turd and a rolling paper, respectively.

The tweet from WaBeta Info, which gives accurate rumours on WhatsApp, says that whenever there will be a WhatsApp Sticker pack, a green dot will appear on the ‘+’ button. As per the pictures, the user has an option to update and download the sticker pack.

There is no information about the date when the Sticker pack will be available.Some of the stickers show Unchie and Rollie with hearts around them, both of them giggling or saying ‘hi’. The Bibimbap shows the casserole in various expressions such as an angry one, and an excited one.Stickers, off late, have become a fun tool for people to converse or add them in their Stories.

It is high time that WhatsApp brings this feature in their app.WhatsApp has been dealing with the problem of fake news for quite sometime, therefore it has brought features to tackle this problem. फोर्ब्स नुसार सलमानपेक्षा अक्षय महागडा अभिनेता

फोर्ब्सने जगातील सर्वात महागड्या १०० सेलिब्रिटीजची यादी जाहीर केली आहे. या यादीत सलमान खान आणि अक्षय कुमारचा समावेश करण्यात आला असून महागड्या सेलिब्रिटीजच्या या यादीत अक्षयने सलमानला मागे टाकले आहे. आश्चर्यची बाब म्हणजे या यादीत किंगखान शाहरूख चा समावेश करण्यात आलेला नाही.

फोर्ब्सच्या यादीत शाहरूख खानचं नेहमीच नाव असतं. मात्र यंदा पहिल्यांदाच त्याला या यादीतून वगळण्यात आलं आहे. या यादीत अक्षयकुमार ७६ व्या स्थानी असून सलमान ८२ स्थानी आहे. २०१७ मध्ये शाहरूखला या यादीत ६५ वे स्थान मिळाले आहे.

फोर्ब्सनुसार अक्षयकुमारने या वर्षी ३.०७ अब्जची कमाई केली आहे. या वर्षी आलेल्या अक्षयच्या ‘पॅडमॅन’ आणि ‘टॉयलेट एक प्रेम कथे’ने चांगली कमाई केली होती. शिवाय २० ब्रँडमध्ये काम केल्यानेही अक्षयला चांगली मिळकत झाल्याचं फोर्ब्सने नमूद केलं आहे.

तर सलमनाने यंदा २.५७ अब्ज रुपये कमावल्याचं फोर्ब्सने स्पष्ट केलं आहे. ‘टायगर जिंदा है’मुळे सलमानच्या कमाईत वाढ झाली आहे. शिवाय त्याने जाहिरातीतूनही भरपूर पैसा कमावला असल्याचं फोर्ब्सने नमूद केलं आहे.

जगातील शंभर महागड्या सेलिब्रिटीजच्या या यादीत अमेरिकेतील बॉक्सर फ्लॉयड मेवेदरने अव्वल स्थान मिळवलं आहे. त्याने यंदा १९.४९ अब्ज रुपयांची कमाई केली आहे. तर या यादीत जॉर्ज क्लूनीने दुसरं,काइली जेनेरने तिसंर, ज्युडी शिंडलीनने चौथं तर ड्वेन जॉन्सनने पाचवं स्थान पटकावलं आहे.

“‘Hichki’ is a universal film and the response that it is getting in the overseas territories is validating that the film’s subject is an extremely relevant one. It’s really heartening that Hichki will now release in Russia. It professes the message of the fact of making your worst obstacle within you and convert it into your biggest strength by embracing it and working each day to win over it.

“It has a beautiful message that nothing is impossible and life can be beautiful even with our inherent complications. I’m really excited to see the reaction of audiences on Russia,” Malhotra said in a statement.

The Yash Raj Films project, produced by Maneesh Sharma, is a story of an aspiring teacher played by Rani, who suffers from Tourette syndrome. The film recently received a standing ovation at the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF).

“‘Hichki’ has touched the hearts of audiences across age-groups, across countries. The film moved audiences at the Shanghai Film Festival where it was screened recently and we got a standing ovation there. It was an overwhelming reaction from a non-Hindi speaking market and now that the film is releasing in Russia, we expect audiences to feel the same emotions that people across the world are feeling after seeing the movie,” Sharma said.

खाजगी कोचिंग क्लासेस ना चाप लावणार – शिक्षणमंत्र्यांची घोषणा

खाजगी कोचिंग क्लासेस नी शिक्षणाचा बाजार मांडला असून त्यांच्यावर नियंत्रण ठेवण्यासाठी कायदा करण्याचे काम सुरू आहे. कोचिंग क्लासेस मुळे शाळांमधील उपस्थिती कमी झाली आहे. इंटिग्रेटेड कोचिंग क्लास पद्धतीला आळा घालण्यासाठी शाळांमध्ये बायोमेट्रिक हजेरी सक्तीची करण्यात येणार आहे.

इंटिग्रेटेड कोचिंग क्लास चालवणार्‍या शाळांवर कारवाई करून प्रसंगी त्यांची मान्यताही रद्द केली जाईल, अशी घोषणा शालेय शिक्षणमंत्री विनोद तावडे यांनी केली आहे.

राज्यभरात फुटलेले कोचिंग क्लासचे पेव, शाळांमधील कमी झालेली हजेरी, पालकांची होत असलेली प्रचंड लूट याविषयी भाजपच्या पराग अळवणी यांच्यासह 21 सदस्यांनी सोमवारी विधानसभेत लक्षवेधी सूचनेद्वारे चर्चा उपस्थित केली होती.

इंटिग्रेटेड क्लासेसच्या नावाखाली राज्यात नवा धंदा सुरू झाला असून शाळेत जाण्याऐवजी अशा क्लासेसना प्रवेश घेणार्‍यांच्या संख्येत वाढ होत आहे. अनेक शाळांमधून ठरावीक क्लासमध्ये प्रवेश घेण्यास विद्यार्थ्यांवर सक्ती केली जात असून पालकांची व विद्यार्थ्यांची प्रचंड लूट होत आहे. काही क्लासेसनाच आता शाळा सुरू करण्यास परवानगी दिल्याची बाब लक्षवेधीच्या माध्यमातून सभागृहासमोर आणण्यात आली. यावर बोलताना शिक्षणमंत्री विनोद तावडे यांनी खाजगी कोचिंग क्लासेस व इंटिग्रेटेड कोचिंग क्लासमुळे शिक्षण क्षेत्राचे बाजारीकरण झाले आहे, या क्षेत्राला कीड
लागल्याची कबुली दिली. हे रोखण्यासाठी इंटिगे्रटेड कोचिंग क्लास चालवणार्‍या शाळांवर कारवाई केली जाईल.

शाळांमधून बायोमेट्रिक जिओ टॅगिंगची हजेरी पद्धती सुरू करण्यात येत असल्याची माहिती तावडे यांनी दिली. त्यामुळे विद्यार्थी शाळेत त्या वर्गात हजर होता की नाही, हे कळणार असून विद्यार्थ्यांची हजेरी कमी राहिल्यास त्यांना परीक्षेला बसू दिले जाणार नाही, असेही तावडे यांनी सांगितले.

दुधाला अनुदानाची मागणी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी फेटाळली

फक्‍त 40 टक्केच सहकारी दूध संघांमार्फत संकलित होते. 60 टक्के दूध हे खासगी दूध संघांमार्फत संकलित होत आहे. जर दुधासाठी प्रतिलिटर अनुदान दिले, तर नवीन घोटाळे होतील. त्यामुळे दुधासाठी लिटरमागे अनुदान देणे शक्य नसल्याचे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी स्पष्ट केले. खा. राजू शेट्टी यांचे आंदोलन चुकीचे आहे. राज्य सरकारची चर्चेची दारे नेहमीच खुली असून, शेट्टींसोबत चर्चेची तयारी आहे, असेही ते म्हणाले.

पावसाळी अधिवेशनाच्या वृत्तसंकलनासाठी नागपूर येथे आलेल्या पत्रकारांशी ‘सुयोग’ निवासस्थानी ते म्हणाले, राज्य सरकारने दूध उत्पादकांना दिलासा देण्यासाठी दूध भुकटी निर्यातीसाठी प्रतिकिलो 50 रुपयांचे अनुदान दिले आहे. त्यामुळे दुधाचे दर हे लिटरमागे तीन रुपयांनी वाढले आहेत. मात्र, लिटरमागे अनुदान देण्यात अडचणी आहेत.

सरकारकडे खासगी दूध संघाकडून राज्यभर संकलित होणार्‍या दुधाची निश्‍चित आकडेवारी नाही. कर्नाटकमध्ये एकच दूध संघ असल्यामुळे तेथे लिटरमागे अनुदान देणे शक्य आहे. मात्र, राज्यात तशी परिस्थिती नसल्याने असे अनुदान देता येणार नाही. गुजरातमध्येही दूध भुकटीलाच अनुदान देण्यात येत असल्याचे मुख्यमंत्री म्हणाले.

राजू शेट्टी यांच्याबरोबर चर्चा करायला आम्ही तयार आहोत; पण त्यांना चर्चा करायची नाही, असे सांगतानाच या आंदोलनामुळे दूध पुरवठा खंडित होऊ नये म्हणून राज्य सरकारने आवश्यक ती काळजी घेतली आहे, असे त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.

या आंदोलनावरून विरोधकही राजकारण करीत आहेत. सरकारच्या योजनांमध्ये स्वार्थी राजकारण आणून काँग्रेस व राष्ट्रवादीच्या ताब्यातील जिल्हा बँका आणि सहकारी संस्था या कशाप्रकारे भ्रष्टाचार करतात, हे सहकारमंत्र्यांनी मागील आठवड्यातच विधानसभेत समोर आणले, असेही मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस म्हणाले.

नाणार प्रकल्पाबाबत बोलताना हा प्रकल्प व्हावा, अशी भूमिका मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी मांडली. सरकारने तीनवेळा सभागृहात आपली भूमिका स्पष्ट केली आहे. त्यामुळे समाधान होऊन कामकाज चालेल, अशी अपेक्षा बोलून दाखवितानाच केंद्रीय पेट्रोलियम मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान हे पुन्हा उद्धव ठाकरे यांची भेटीची वेळ घेतील, असे मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी सांगितले. यापूर्वी उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी प्रधान यांची भेट नाकारली होती. त्यावर याआधी वेळ मागितली होती; पण जमले नाही, असे मुख्यमंत्री म्हणाले. तसेच नाणार प्रकल्पाची जागा बदलण्याचा कोणताही प्रस्ताव नाल्याचेही त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.

मंदिरांवर कब्जा करण्याचा हेतू नाही

मंदिरांवर कब्जा करण्याचा सरकारचा कोणताही हेतू नाही. ज्या ठिकाणी लाखो भाविक दान देतात, तो पैसा समाजाच्या कामाला यावा, असा प्रयत्न आहे, असे मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी स्पष्ट केले. आपले सरकार आल्यानंतर शिर्डी संस्थानचा भ्रष्टाचार थांबला, असेही ते म्हणाले.

वैद्यकीय व दंत अभ्यासक्रमांच्या प्रवेशासाठी घेण्यात येणाऱ्या राष्ट्रीय पात्रता प्रवेश परीक्षेच्या (नीट) विश्वासार्हतेबद्दल आता प्रश्नचिन्ह निर्माण झाले आहे. गेल्या वर्षी फिजिक्स, केमिस्ट्री आणि बायोलॉजी (पीसीएम) विषयांमध्ये ‘शून्य’ गुण मिळवलेल्या ११० विद्यार्थ्यांनाही खासगी महाविद्यालयांमध्ये एमबीबीएसला प्रवेश मिळाल्याचे उघड झाले आहे.

इतकेच नव्हे तर पीसीएममध्ये एक आकडी गुण मिळवलेले ४०० विद्यार्थीही खासगी महाविद्यालयात एमबीबीएसला दाखल आहेत. हे प्रवेश पैशांच्या जोरावर झाल्याचे सांगितले जाते.

२०१७ मध्ये ‘नीट’ परीक्षेत ७२० पैकी १५० गुण मिळवलेल्या देशभरातील १९९० विद्यार्थ्यांना एमबीबीएस अभ्यासक्रमाला प्रवेश मिळाला. त्यातील ५३० विद्यार्थी हे फिजिक्स आणि केमिस्ट्री विषयात १० पेक्षा कमी गुण किंवा अगदी शून्य गूण मिळालेले आहेत. ५३० पैकी ५०७ विद्यार्थ्यांना खाजगी महाविद्यालयांमध्ये प्रवेश मिळाला आहे असे वृत्त एका इंग्रजी नियतकालिकाने दिले आहे. ‘नीट’ परीक्षेसाठी फिजिक्स, केमिस्ट्री आणि बायोलॉजी (पीसीएम) या विषयांसाठी स्वतंत्र कट-ऑफ ठेवण्यात आलेला नाही.

प्रत्येक पेपरमध्ये किमान किती गुण असावेत याचाही उल्लेख नाही. जे विद्यार्थी वार्षिक किमान १७ लाख रुपये शुल्क भरू शकतात असे विद्यार्थी मोजके गुण मिळवूनही खाजगी महाविद्यालयांमध्ये प्रवेश मिळवू शकले आहेत. या वृत्तामध्ये एक उदाहरणही देण्यात आले आहे. एका विद्यार्थ्यांला फिजिक्समध्ये २, केमिस्ट्रीमध्ये ४ आणि बायोलॉजी विषयात १३९ गुण मिळाले. तरीसुध्दा त्याला वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयात प्रवेश मिळाला. गेल्यावर्षी ६.१ लाख विद्यार्थी ‘नीट’ परीक्षेत उत्तीर्ण झाले.

एमसीआयच्या सुधारित अधिसूचनेने घातला घोळ
पीसीएममध्ये ५० टक्के गुण असलेला विद्यार्थीच वैद्यकीय किंवा दंत अभ्यासक्रमाला प्रवेशासाठी पात्र ठरू शकतो असा निकष होता. परंतु नगण्य गुण मिळवूनही शेकडो विद्यार्थ्यांना एमबीबीएसला प्रवेश मिळाला यामागचे कारण मेडिकल कौन्सिल ऑफ इंडियाने (एमसीआय) काढलेली सुधारीत अधिसूचना आहे. त्यात पीसीएममध्ये किमान ५० टक्के गुण अनिवार्य नसल्याचे म्हटले आहे. या अधिसूचनेत एमसीआयने तातडीने बदल केला पाहिजे असा सल्ला शिक्षणतज्ञांनी दिला आहे.

ज्येष्ठ अभिनेत्री रिटा भादुरी काळाच्या पडद्याआड

ज्येष्ठ अभिनेत्री रिटा भादुरी यांच्या निधनाने संपूर्ण कलाविश्वात शोककळा पसरली आहे. अल्पशा आजाराने रिटा यांचे निधन झाल्याची माहिती अभिनेते शिशिर शर्मा यांनी दिली आहे. त्या ६२ वर्षांच्या होत्या. टेलिव्हिजन आणि चित्रपट विश्वातील लोकप्रिय अभिनेत्री म्हणून रिटा यांची ओळख होती.

‘निमकी मुखिया’ या मालिकेत त्यांनी साकारलेली इमरती देवीची भूमिका विशेष गाजली.

गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून त्या आजारी होत्या. मूत्रपिंडाची समस्या असल्याने त्यांना डायलिसिसवर ठेवण्यात आले होते. आरोग्याची समस्या असतानाही त्या नियमित शूटिंगला जात आणि शूटिंगदरम्यान मिळालेल्या वेळेत सेटवरच आराम करत होत्या.

‘वृद्धापकाळात होणाऱ्या आजारांच्या भीतीने काम सोडून देणे मला पटत नाही. सतत काम करणे आणि अभिनयात व्यस्त राहणे मला आवडते. आजाराविषयी सतत विचार करण्यापेक्षा स्वत:ला कामात व्यस्त ठेवणे मला महत्त्वाचे वाटते,’ असे त्यांनी एका मुलाखतीत म्हटले होते. रिटा यांच्या पार्थिवावर मंगळवारी दुपारी मुंबईतील अंधेरी येथील स्मशानभूमीत अंत्यसंस्कार होणार आहे.

‘साराभाई वर्सेस साराभाई’, ‘अमानत’, ‘एक नई पहचान’, ‘बायबल की कहानियाँ’ यांसारख्या लोकप्रिय मालिकांमध्ये त्यांनी भूमिका साकारल्या होत्या. तर ‘सावन को आने दो’, ‘राजा’, ‘विरासत’ अशा बऱ्याच चित्रपटांमध्ये त्यांनी दमदार भूमिका साकारल्या होत्या.

Essel plant to generate power from waste in Maharashtra

New Delhi: Essel Infraprojects Ltd (EIL) will construct Maharashtra’s first Waste to Energy (WtE) plant with a capacity of 800 tonnes of waste in, it was announced on Monday.

Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, besides other dignitaries were present at the groundbreaking ceremony for the plant performed here this afternoon.

This will be EIL’s first in the state fter implementing similar WtEs in Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), Ranchi and Amritsar, and the Nagpur project is scheduled to be operational within two years, said Essel Group Chairman Subhash Chandra.

For the purpose, the EIL has set up a subsidiary – the Nagpur Solid Waste Processing & Management Pvt. Ltd, to develop the project with an investment of Rs 219 crores.

Besides the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will contribute Rs 70 crore as viability gap funding to execute the project under the Swwachh Bharat Mission.

Once operational, it will treat 80 tonnes of the total 1,100 tonnes wastes generated in Nagpur city, Chandra said.

The NSWPMPL will also operate and maintain the plant for 13 years and the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will pay a tipping charge of Rs 225 per tonnes to be increased by 4.5 percent annually.

The NSWPMPL will generate its revenues from the Maharashtra State Electric Distribution Company Ltd and recover its investments.

The Essel Infraprojects ltd. will also operate existing landfill site, develop two more and operate and maintain them for 13 years, ensuring mitigation of fires, air, and ground water pollution.

According to the recent Swachh Sarvekshan Survey, 2018, of the 500 top Indian cities on the basis of cleanliness and other aspects, Nagpur ranked 55 out of the total 434 cities surveyed.
