केंद्रीय सामाजिक न्याय मंत्रालयाच्या अंतर्गत नागपूरच्या यशवंत स्टेडीयमस्थित संयुक्त प्रादेशिक केंद्र-सी.आर.सी. (दिव्यांगजन) यांच्या मानसशास्त्र विभागाद्वारे दिव्यांग युवकांसाठी ‘युवा टॅलेंट फेस्टिव्हलचे’ आयोजन दिनांक १० मार्च, २०२१ रोजी आभासी पद्धतीने करण्यात येत आहे.
दिव्यांग युवकांचा सर्वागिण विकास होण्याच्या दृष्टीने शैक्षणिक, सामाजिक, आर्थिक बाबींसह त्यांच्या सृजनशीलतेला वाव देण्यासाठी, त्यांच्यातील न्युनगंड काढुन त्यांच्यात आत्मविश्वास निर्माण करण्यासाठी एक मंच उपलब्ध करून त्यांच्या कलेचे सादरीकरण होणे अनिवार्य आहे. त्यासाठी ‘युवा टॅलेंट फेस्टिव्हल’ सांस्कृतिक स्पर्धा महत्वाच्या ठरतात.
दिव्यांग व्यक्ती-मधील कला आणि संस्कृतीचा अर्थ ओळखणे हा या स्पर्धेचा उद्देश आहे, जो त्यांच्यासाठी एक नवा शिकण्याचा अनुभव असेल. त्यामुळे सी.आर.सी.-नागपूरद्वारा कर्ण-बधिर युवक व बौद्धिक दिव्यांग युवकांसाठी नृत्य स्पर्धा, अंध तथा दृष्टिबाधित प्रवर्गातील दिव्यांग युवकांसाठी गायन स्पर्धा तसेच कर्ण-बधिर युवक व बौद्धिक दिव्यांग, आटिज्मग्रस्त युवकांसाठी चित्रकला स्पर्धेचे आयोजन या युवा टॅलेंट फेस्टिव्हल अंतर्गत करण्यात येत आहे.स्पर्धेत प्रथम, द्वितीय तथा तृतीय स्थान पटकविणा-या सर्व दिव्यांग स्पर्धकास रोख रक्कम, स्मृतिचिन्ह, प्रमाणपत्र देऊन गौरव करण्यात येईल आणि सर्व सहभागी दिव्यांग युवकांना प्रोत्साहनपर बक्षिसे देण्यात येतील, अशी माहिती सी.आर.सी. च्या मानसशास्त्र विभागाच्या प्रमुख अपर्णा भालेराव-पिंपळकर यांनी दिली आहे.
युवा टॅलेंट फेस्टिव्हल अंतर्गत स्पर्धेत सहभागी होण्यासाठी कोणताही नोंदणी शुल्क नाही. वय वर्ष १८ ते ३५ वर्षे वयोगटातील सर्व दिव्यांग युवकांना तथा त्यांच्या पालकांना आव्हान करण्यात येते की, आपल्या कलेचा प्रकार गायन, नृत्य, चित्रकला यापैकी कोणतेही एक २ मिनिटांचा व्हिडीओ करून आपले संपुर्ण नाव शाळा , महाविद्यालय ,संपुर्ण पत्ता , वयोगट , गाव , शहराचे नावानिशी उत्तम स्थितीत [email protected] या ईमेलवर पाठवावा आणि या युवा टॅलेंट फेस्टिव्हलमध्ये सहभागी व्हावे, असे आव्हान सी.आर.सी. नागपुरचे संचालक प्रफुल्ल शिंदे, यांनी केले आहे.
राहुल गांधी यांनी आपल्या द्वेषभावनेने प्रेरित वक्तव्यातून उत्तर तसेच दक्षिण भारतातील जनतेत फूट पाडण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. त्यांच्या या वक्तव्याचा सर्वांनी एकमुखाने निषेध करायला पाहिजे, या शब्दांत केंद्रीय महिला आणि बालविकास मंत्री स्मृती इराणी यांनी त्यांच्यावर हल्ला चढवला. मी 15 वर्षे उत्तर भारताचा खासदार होतो. या काळात मला वेगळ्या पद्धतीच्या राजकारणाची सवय लागली. मात्र, केरळमध्ये आल्यावर मला वेगळा अनुभव आला. येथील लोक मुद्यांवर विश्वास ठेवतात, मुळापर्यंत जाऊन कोणत्याही गोष्टींचा विचार करतात. केरळचे लोक अतिशय बुद्धिमान राजकारण करतात, त्याच्याकडून खूप काही शिकण्यासारखे आहे, असे वक्तव्य राहुल गांधी यांनी तिरुवनंतपूरम् येथील जाहीर सभेत केले होते.
राहुल गांधी यांच्या या विधानावरून वातावरण तापले आहे. उत्तर भारतातील जनतेचा, मतरांचा त्यांनी अपमान केल्याचा आरोप करीत भाजपा नेते त्यांच्यावर तुटून पडले. आपल्या द्वेषमूलक अशा वक्तव्यातून आणि बदला घेण्याच्या राजकीय प्रवृत्तीतून राहुल गांधी यांनी अमेठीच्या मतदारांचाच अपमान केला नाही, तर देशात उत्तर भारत आणि दक्षिण भारत अशी फूट पाडण्याचाही प्रयत्न केला. त्यामुळे त्यांच्या अशा वक्तव्याचा सर्वांनीच निषेध करायला हवा. राहुल गांधी कृतघ्न आहेत, असेही त्या म्हणाल्या. फूट पाडण्याचे राजकारण करायची राहुल गांधी यांची पहिलीच वेळ नाही. याआधी त्यांनी आसाममध्ये जाऊन गुजरातच्या जनतेवर टीका केली होती. त्याचा परिणाम म्हणून गुजरातमधील मनपा निवडणुकीत काँग्रेसचा दारुण पराभव झाला, याकडे इराणी यांनी लक्ष वेधले. राहुल गांधी देशातील जनतेशी कधीपर्यंत खोटे बोलणार आहेत, अशी विचारणाही त्यांनी केली.
District Collector Ravindra Thakre has issued official order about the closure of all business establishments including restaurants/ hotels, on Saturday and Sunday. The order issued on Wednesday has cleared confusion among the shop owners, restaurants, and hotels.
On Tuesday, a discussion on restaurants and liquor bars to remain open by following all the directives related to COVID 19, was being held. The bar owners are not yet clear about their status on the weekend. They receive separate instructions from the Excise Department. The Excise Department had issued directions to close the bars at 9 pm from Monday itself, when the restrictions by the municipal and district authorities were imposed from February 25. The bar owners’ association is relying on the orders issued on February 22. In this order conditions for bars were mentioned. However, the order of February 24 does not speak about bars.
The Bar Owners’ Association and Mangal Karyalaya (Marriage Hall) Owners Association had approached the authorities demanding relaxation of norms for them. The marriage halls have been closed up to March 7. They are suffering heavy losses, as their bookings are being canceled.
Earlier they were allowed to operate with accommodation of 50 percent of their capacity. The marriage halls have suffered immensely during the last 11 months. As the situation appeared improving booking of the halls had improved. Now fresh closure has added to their problems.
The kitchen of the restaurants and hotels will be allowed to operate. Only parcel services have been allowed. Dining at the restaurants has been banned, under the new order.
NASA on Monday released first high-quality video of a spacecraft landing on Mars, a three-minute trailer showing the enormous orange and white parachute hurtling open and the red dust kicking up as rocket engines lowered the rover to the surface. The footage was so good and the images so breathtaking that members of the rover team said that they felt like they were riding along. “It gives me goose bumps every time I see it, just amazing,” said Dave Gruel, head of the entry and descent camera team.
The Perseverance rover landed last Thursday near an ancient river delta in Jezero Crater to search for signs of ancient microscopic life. After spending the weekend binge-watching the descent and landing video, the team at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, shared the video at a news conference. “These videos and these images are the stuff of our dreams,” said Al Chen, who was in charge of the landing team.
Six off-the-shelf color cameras were devoted to entry, descent and landing, looking up and down from different perspectives. All but one camera worked. The lone microphone turned on for landing failed, but NASA got some snippets of sound after touchdown: the whirring of the rover’s systems and wind gusts.
Flight controllers were thrilled with the thousands of images beamed back and also with the remarkably good condition of NASA’s biggest and most capable rover yet. It will spend the next two years exploring the dry river delta and drilling into rocks that may hold evidence of life 3 billion to 4 billion years ago. The core samples will be set aside for return to Earth in a decade. NASA added 25 cameras to the USD 3 billion mission — the most ever sent to Mars. The space agency’s previous rover, 2012’s Curiosity, managed only jerky, grainy stop-motion images, mostly of terrain. Curiosity is still working. So is NASA’s Insight lander, although it’s hampered by dusty solar panels. They may have company in late spring, when China attempts to land its own rover, which went into orbit around Mars two weeks ago. Deputy project manager Matt Wallace said, he was inspired several years ago to film Perseverance’s harrowing descent when his young gymnast daughter wore a camera while performing a backflip. Some of the spacecraft systems like the sky crane used to lower the rover onto the Martian surface could not be tested on Earth. “So this is the first time we’ve had a chance as engineers to actually see what we designed,” Wallace told reporters.
Thomas Zurbuchen, NASA’s science mission chief, said that the video and also the panoramic views following touchdown “are the closest you can get to landing on Mars without putting on a pressure suit.” The images will help NASA prepare for astronaut flights to Mars in decades ahead, according to the engineers. “I know it’s been a tough year for everybody,” said imaging scientist Justin Maki, “and we’re hoping that these images will help brighten people’s days.”

नागपूर : एका सुपारी व्यापाऱ्यावर चाकूने हल्ला करून दोन लुटारूंनी कारमध्ये ठेवलेले ४ लाख ६० हजार रुपये लुटून नेले. ही घटना जबलपूर-हैदराबाद मार्गावरील पांजरी गावाजवळ घडली. या लूटमार प्रकरणी बेलतरोडी पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल केला.
सादगाव बाजार चौक, बुटीबोरी येथे राहणारे राजेश किसानसिंग चंदेल (३९) यांचा सुपारीचा व्यवसाय आहे. सुपारी खरेदी करून त्याची कटाई केल्यानंतर लहानमोठ्या पानठेल्यावर ते सुपारीची विक्री करतात. काल सोमवारी चंदेल यांनी विकलेल्या मालाची वसुली करून ४ लाख ६० हजार रुपये गोळा केले. हे पैसे सुपारी व्यापाऱ्यांना देण्यासाठी ते कारने मस्कासाथ येथे येत होते.
जबलपूर-हैदराबाद मार्गावरील पांजरी गावाजवळून जात असताना दुचाकीवर आलेल्या दोन लुटारूंनी चंदेल यांच्या कारला दगड मारला. त्यामुळे त्यांनी कार थांबविली. तोच दुचाकीच्या मागे बसलेल्या आरोपीने चंदेल यांच्यावर चाकूने वार केला. भितीपोटी चंदेल हे कार सोडून समोर असलेल्या टोल नाक्याकडे मदत मागण्यासाठी गेले. टोल नाक्यावरील कर्मचाऱ्यांना घेऊन ते कारजवळ आले.

जवळच्या व्यक्तीने दिली टीप
सुपारी व्यापारी राजेश चंदेल यांची कुणीतरी जवळच्या व्यक्तीने टीप दिली असावी. दुचाकीने कारचा पाठलाग केल्यानंतर कारमध्ये एकट्याला बघून आरोपींनी कट रचून लूटमार केली असावी. पोलिसांनी काही सीसीटीव्ही फुटेज जप्त केले असून त्या आधारे आरोपींचा शोध सुरू आहे.
नवी दिल्ली – सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने एक महत्त्वाचा निर्णय देताना म्हटलं की, हिंदू महिलेच्या माहेरच्या कुटुंबातील लोकांना तिच्या मालमत्तेचा वारसदार मानलं जाऊ शकतं. अशा नातेवाइकांना कुटुंबाच्या बाहेरची व्यक्ती म्हणता येणार नाही. हिंदू वारसा कायद्याच्या कलम 15.1 डी अंतर्गत हे येईल आणि मालमत्तेचे वारसदार ठरवता येईल.
निर्णयात सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने म्हटलं की, महिलेच्या माहेरच्या नातेवाईकांना हिंदू वारसा कायद्या, 1956 च्या कलम 15.1 डी अंतर्गत वारस म्हणता येईल. न्यायाधीश अशोक भूषण यांच्या पीठाने सांगितलं की, कलम 13.1 डी मधून स्पष्ट होतं की वडिलांच्या वारसांना वारस मानलं आहे आणि ते मालमत्तेचा ताबा घेऊ शकतात. महिलेच्या माहेरच्या असलेल्या वारसांचाही यामध्ये समावेश केला जातो तेसुद्धा मालमत्तेचे अधिकारी ठरू शकतात. अशावेळी म्हणता येणार नाही की ते कुटुंबासाठी अनोळखी आहेत किंवा महिलेच्या कुटुंबातील नाहीत.
न्यायालयाने एका प्रकरणाच्या सुनावणीवेळी हा निर्णय़ दिला. एका महिलेला तिच्या पतीची मालमत्ता मिळाली होती. पतीचा मृत्यू 1953 मध्ये झाला होता. महिलेला अपत्य नव्हतं त्यामुळे कृषी मालमत्तेचा अर्धा भाग पत्नीला मिळाला. वारसा कायदा 1956 तयार झाल्यानंतर कलम 14 नुसार पत्नी मालमत्तेची एकमेव वारस झाली. यानंतर महिलेनं मालमत्तेसाठी एक करार केला आणि मालमत्ता भावाच्या मुलांच्या नावावर केली. यानंतर तिच्या भावाच्या मुलांनी 1991 मध्ये सिव्हील कोर्टात त्यांना मिळालेल्या मालमत्तेची मालकी त्यांची असल्याची घोषणा करण्यासाठी याचिका दाखल केली. यावर महिलेनं कोणताच आक्षेप न घेता सहमती दर्शवली.
दरम्यान, न्यायालयाने मालमत्ता मालकी हक्काच्या मंजुरीसह महिलेच्या भावाच्या मुलांच्या नावावर केली. मात्र मालमत्तेच्या या हस्तांतरणाला महिलेच्या पतीच्या भावांनी विरोध केला आणि आव्हान याचिका दाखल केली. त्यांनी म्हटलं की, हिंदू विधवा तिच्या वडिलांच्या कुटुंबासह एकत्र हिंदू कुटुंब तयार करत नाही. त्यामुळे वडिलांच्या कुटुंबातील कोणाच्या नावावर ही मालमत्ता करता येत नाही. कौंटुंबिक तडजोडही त्याच लोकांसोबत करता येईल ज्यांचा मालमत्तेवर पहिल्यापासून अधिकार आहे. विधवा महिलेच्या पतीच्या नातेवाईकांनी दाखल केलेली याचिका उच्च न्यायालयाने फेटाळून लावली. त्यानंतर नातेवाईकांनी सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाचा दरवाजा ठोठावला.
सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने हिंदू वारसा कायदा, कलम 15.1 डी ची व्याख्या केली. यात म्हटलं की, हिंदू महिलेसाठी माहेरचे असलेले नातेवाईक हे अनोळखी नाहीत. तेसुद्धा कुटुंबाचा एक भाग आहेत. कायद्यात असलेल्या परिवार शब्दाचा थोडक्यात अर्थ देता येणार नाही. त्याकडे सविस्तरपणे पाहिलं पाहिजे. यात हिंदू महिलेचे नातेवाईकसुद्धा येतात. मालमत्तेचे अधिकार आधीपासून असतील आणि त्यावर निकालपत्र असेल तर नोंदणी कायद्यांतर्गत त्याची नोंद करण्याची गरज नाही.
The long shadow of COVID-19 has surfaced again to tackle the dreaded virus. A partial lockdown would be effected in entire district till March 7, wherein all educational institutions, weekly markets would be shutdown with immediate effect. Along side the administration has imposed ban on weddings, political and religious events and the cultural programmes from February 25 onwards to avoid large gathering to stem the transmission of virus.
A meeting chaired by Guardian Minister Dr Nitin Raut on Monday morning reviewed the situation on COVID-19 front wherein the current case load, rate of infection, experts’ views were taken into consideration before finalising the curbs in light of pandemic. The meeting held at Divisional Commissionerate was attended among others by Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishnan B, District Collector Ravindra Thakare, Deans of GMCH and IGGMCH, Civil Surgeon, and others.
After discussing the situation at hand, the first decision that was taken was to revive Covid Care Centres (CCC) as daily the case load of active patients is increasing rapidly. Taking cue from first wave, administration thought it fit to be in readiness so that if there is sudden surge in cases, the CCC can prove useful. Also curbs were thought as best possible measures in current scenario before positive cases surge further and make task difficult for administration and health machinery in particular. Educational Institutes Closed: All educational institutions, schools and colleges were asked to discontinue physical classes and switch over to on-line mode of teaching as steps are being taken to minimise gatherings. While Classes from Standard IX to XII had restarted from December onwards, the middle schools had resumed just two weeks back. Colleges too had resumed the classes as course for the academic year was needed to be wrapped-up.
Administration is of view that the lesser the number people outside the lesser would be the case load. Also, coaching centres that had barely reopened were also directed to close down as ground situation is worrisome. Training centres have also been asked to switch over to on-line mode of holding classes. Shops Timing Regulated: The timings of commercial establishment in city and rural parts too has been regulated to deter citizens from crowding in markets that is giving jitters to administration. All restaurants, bars, pubs would have to wound-up their businesses by 9 pm. Also the shops and general stores and other non-essential category business also directed to adhere to new timings. Weekend Shutdown: Restaurants and dining halls also have been directed to function with 50 per cent occupancy and abide by all COVID-19 rules.
Most importantly, a sort of weekend curfew would be in place wherein all commercial establishments would remain closed as people tend to move out for outing and crowding occurs. So, barring shops in essential category including fuel pumps, milk centres, vegetable shops, newspapers, medical services all other activities would remain totally closed on Saturday and Sunday. Municipal Commissioner late in night issued a revised notification wherein all threatres plus cinema halls would remain closed on Saturday and Sunday till further orders. This decision is also going to dampen the weekend festive mood as footfalls from cinema goers were just picking-up. Earlier, Dr Raut speaking at the meeting laid stress on contact tracing while increasing the testing capacity. Expressing worry about crowding in rural and urban parts, mostly at community function, he asked senior officials to monitor the situation and take concrete action. Areas that have emerged as hotspot should be monitored and officials should not let situation slip out of control.
Also admonition should also promote ‘Mi Jababdar’ as outlined by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in his Saturday’s address to people of Maharashtra. People should be made aware about ‘Maze Arogya Mazi Jababdari’ so that self measures are taken as per COVID-19 protocols to keep oneself healthy and ensure protection of society at large. Also super spreaders should be identified quickly and SARI patients be monitored as they are more susceptible to contract COVID-19 virus. Stressing on the importance of role of medical fraternity, Dr Raut said physicians in private as well as Government should take steps to properly monitor cases of flu and advice patients accordingly. The main criteria for curbing COVID-19 are to avoid crowding, maintaining social distance and using masks and sanitizers strictly. Divisional Commissioner Dr Sanjeev Kumar directed officials to ensure that name, address and telephone number of people coming for testing is properly jotted as this is of utmost importance. Also information about people those who had in contact with one coming positive should also be with the testing centre to enable contact tracing at the earliest. Outdoor restaurants are going to feel the pinch of weekend ban as most of their business is done on these two days. For them the restrictions would be quite harsh though they have been strictly following COVID-19 norms and operating with 50% occupancy.
New hotspots of COVID-19 identified Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishnan B listed the new hotspots in city including Jaripatka, Jafar Nagar, Friends Colony, New Bidipeth, Swalambi Nagar, Khamla Sindhi Colony, Dighori, Wathoda, Laxmi Nagar, Ayodhya Nagar as case load in these residential colonies has increased drastically. At some places, entire building is having positive patients and in some homes five persons are down with COVID-19 and in such cases civic administration is sealing these places to avoid spread through contact with outsiders. Also in case people advised home quarantine are found roaming outside, then offences have been registered. Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar informed the meeting that police force has also taken steps to ensure no large gatherings takes place on streets. Joint action is initiated against marriage halls, hotels and restaurants where rules are violated.
अमरावती : खासगी लॅबकडून होणारी ॲन्टिजेन टेस्टची प्रक्रिया यापूर्वीच रद्द केली आहे. मात्र, रुग्णाच्या घरी जाऊन ॲन्टिजेन टेस्ट करून त्यांना पॉझिटिव्ह असल्याबाबत लेखी रिपोर्ट न देता तोंडी माहिती देऊन रुग्णाची बोळवण करणा-या येथील डॉ. उल्हास संगई यांच्या संगई पॅथॉलॉजी लॅबला पन्नास हजार रूपयांचा दंड ठोठावण्यात आला आहे.
जिल्हा शल्यचिकित्सक डॉ. श्यामसुंदर निकम यांच्या अहवालावरून जिल्हाधिकारी शैलेश नवाल यांनी ही कारवाई केली. याबाबत माहिती अशी की, येथील रहिवाशी राजेश विश्वेश्वर कानव व सुनंदा विश्वेश्वर कानव यांनी कोरोना चाचणी करण्याबाबत संगई पॅथॉलाजी लॅबला दूरध्वनीद्वारे विनंती केली. त्यानुसार लॅबच्या प्रतिनिधीने त्यांच्या घरी येऊन रॅपिड ॲन्टिजेन टेस्ट केली. त्यानंतर लॅबच्या प्रतिनिधीकडून या दोन्ही व्यक्ती कोरोना संक्रमित (पॉझिटिव्ह) असल्याचे व सुपर स्पेशालिटी रूग्णालय येथे दाखल होण्याबाबत तोंडी सांगण्यात आले. संगई लॅबतर्फे कानव कुटुंबाला कुठलाही लेखी रिपोर्ट देण्यात आला नाही. त्यानंतर कानव कुटुंबीय सुपर स्पेशालिटी रुग्णालय भरती होण्यासाठी गेले असता हॉस्पिटलने रिपोर्टची मागणी केली. तथापि, तसा रिपोर्ट लॅबने दिला नसल्याचे कानव यांनी सांगितले. लॅबला रॅपिड ॲन्टिजन टेस्ट थांबविण्याबाबत व अशी चाचणी करण्याची लॅबची मान्यता रद्द करत असल्याबाबत आरोग्य प्रशासनाने यापूर्वीच पत्र दिले होते. त्यानंतरही लॅबकडून ॲन्टिजन टेस्ट केली जात असून, केवळ तोंडी माहिती देऊन रुग्णाची बोळवण केली जात असल्याचे विभागीय संदर्भ रुग्णालयाला आढळून आले.
त्यावरून रुग्णालयाचे वैद्यकीय अधिकारी डॉ. रूपेश खडसे व डॉ. सोपान भोंगाडे यांनी जिल्हा प्रशासनाकडे तक्रार दाखल केली. तक्रारीच्या अनुषंगाने जिल्हा शल्यचिकित्सक डॉ. श्यामसुंदर निकम यांच्या प्राप्त अहवालावरून अमरावती येथील डॉ. उल्हास संगई यांच्या पॅथॉलॉजी लॅबोरेटरीमध्ये विनापरवानगी ॲन्टिजेन टेस्ट केली जात असल्याचे जिल्हा प्रशासनाला आढळून आले. त्यावरून जिल्हा दंडाधिकारी श्री. नवाल यांनी डॉ. संगई यांना 50 हजार रूपयांचा दंड ठोठावला आहे.
त्यानुसार या रकमेचा भरणा सात दिवसांच्या आत महापालिकेकडे करावा आणि येथून पुढे कोणत्याही प्रकारचे विधीग्राह्य नसलेले कृत्य केल्यास फौजदारी कारवाई करण्यात येईल, तसेच लॅबोरेटरी बंद करण्याची कारवाई करण्यात येईल, असा इशाराही आदेशान्वये देण्यात आला आहे.
नागपूर – गुन्हेगारी वृत्तीच्या मोबाईल शॉपी धारकाला धमकी देणे एका गुंडासाठी जीवघेणे ठरले. तो गेम करू शकतो, या भीतीमुळे आरोपीने आपल्या साथीदाराच्या मदतीने त्याची चाकूने भोसकून निर्घृण हत्या केली. रविवारी दुपारी ३ ते ४ च्या सुमारास लंडन स्ट्रीटलगतच्या झुडपीभागात ही घटना घडली. त्याचा साथीदार मात्र या हल्ल्यात बचावला. त्यानेच नंतर पोलिसांना ही माहिती दिली.
नीलेश राजेश नायडू (वय ३०) असे मृतकाचे नाव आहे. त्याची हत्या केल्याप्रकरणी सोनेगाव पोलिसांनी आरोपी मयूर शेरेकर, गोविंद डोंगरे, सागर बग्गा, सुजीत चांदणे आणि आशिष बांदेकर या पाच गुंडांना अटक केली.
नीलेश नायडू हा कुख्यात गुंड होता. त्याच्याविरुद्ध हत्येचा प्रयत्न, लुटमार आदी गंभीर गुन्हे दाखल होते. तो दारू पिऊन कुणासोबतही वाद घालायचा आणि बेवारससारखा मिळालेल्या त्या जागी पडून राहायचा. दोन दिवसांपूर्वी त्याने आरोपी मयूर शेरेकरच्या मोबाईल शॉपमध्ये जाऊन त्याच्याशी वाद घातला होता. त्याला जीवे मारण्याची धमकी दिली होती. मयूरही गुन्हेगारी वृत्तीचा असून त्याला नायडू काहीही करू शकतो, याची कल्पना होती. तो आपला गेम वाजविणार अशी शंका आल्याने त्याने त्याचीच हत्या करण्याचे कटकारस्थान रचले. त्यानुसार त्याने साथीदारांची जुळवाजुळव केली. सोमवारी दुपारी ३ च्या सुमारास नायडू त्याचा मित्र प्रतीक सहारेसोबत आरोपींना लंडन स्ट्रीट ( रॅडीसन ब्ल्यू चाैक ते जयताळा मार्ग) लगतच्या झुडपाकडे जाताना दिसला. त्यामुळे मयूर आणि त्याच्या साथीदारांनी चाकू, रॉड घेऊन नायडू तसेच सहरेला त्या निर्जन ठिकाणी घेरले. आरोपींचे टार्गेट नायडूच होते. त्यामुळे त्याच्यावर चाकूचे सपासप घाव घालून आणि रॉडने प्रहार करून त्याला रक्ताच्या थारोळ्यात लोळविले. प्रतीकला जुजबी मारहाण करून आरोपींनी पळवून लावले. तो गेल्यानंतर आरोपींनी नायडूला दगडानेही ठेचले. तो ठार झाल्याची खात्री पटल्यानंतर आरोपी पळून गेले.
सायंकाळी ५ च्या सुमारास या हत्येच्या गुन्ह्याची सहारेने पोलिसांना माहिती दिली. त्यानंतर सोनेगाव पोलीस घटनास्थळी धावले. दरम्यान, अतिरिक्त पोलीस आयुक्त डॉ. दिलीप झळके, उपायुक्त नुरूल हसन यांनी सोनेगावचे ठाणेदार दिलीप सागर यांना तसेच विविध पोलीस पथकांना कामी लावले. त्यांनी आरोपींची नावे मिळवून रात्री या पाचही आरोपींना अटक केली.
तीन दिवसांपूर्वीच कारागृहातून परतला
कुख्यात नायडू हा शुक्रवारी सायंकाळी कारागृहातून जामिनावर बाहेर आला. आल्याआल्याच त्याने खंडणी वसुलीसाठी दादागिरी सुरू केली. तो कुणालाही, कधीही मारू शकतो, याची कल्पना असल्याने धमकी मिळताच मयूर शेरेकरने त्यालाच यमसदनी धाडले.
Nagpur: Police have arrested two drug-peddlers in Maharashtra”s Nagpur and seized 58 grams of mephedrone drug worth Rs 10 lakh from them, an official said. The action was taken by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the crime branch on Saturday, he said.
The accused, Syed Sajjad alias Saddam Liaquat Ali and Vinek Sandekar, both 26, had been supplying drugs to several cafes and hotels in the city, he said.
“Acting on a tip-off that Syed Sajjad was bringing drugs from Mumbai, the ANC laid a trap and arrested the duo on Saturday afternoon in Wadi area of the city,” the official said.
A total of 58 grams of mephedrone, four expensive mobile phones and a car were seized from them, he said.
A local court remanded them in three-day police custody.
नागपूर : अन्न व औषध प्रशासन विभागाच्या (एफडीए) चमूने एनएनसी कंपनीचे गोदाम आणि कार्यालयावर धाड टाकून ४१ लाख रुपये किमतीची आयुर्वेदिक आणि युनानी औषधांसह स्टीकर जप्त केले. ही कारवाई शुक्रवारी सकाळी कंपनीचे बिडीपेठ येथील कार्यालय आणि नरसाळा येथील गोदामावर करण्यात आली.
एफडीएचे सहायक आयुक्त (औषधी) पुष्पहास बल्लाल यांना बिडीपेठ येथील एनएनसी मार्केटिंग प्रा.लि. कंपनीत हैदराबाद येथून विनालेबलच्या आयुर्वेदिक आणि युनानी औषधांचा स्टॉक आल्याची माहिती मिळाली. या औषधांच्या बॉटलवर बिडीपेठ येथील कार्यालयात जास्त किमतीचे लेबल लावण्यात येत असल्याचे त्यांना कळले. त्यानंतर बल्लाळ यांनी शुक्रवारी औषध निरीक्षक शहनाज ताजी, मोनिका धवड आणि स्वाती भरडे यांच्यासह चमूने कार्यालय आणि गोदामावर धाड टाकली. कंपनीचे भागीदार विजय तांदुळकर यांची चौकशी करण्यात आली. चौकशीदरम्यान लाखो रुपयांच्या औषधांची कच्ची बिले मागविल्याची माहिती उघड झाली. औषधांच्या लहानमोठ्या बॉटलवर संबंधित औषधांची माहिती आणि किमतीचे लेबल नव्हते. या बॉटलवर कार्यालयात जास्त किमतीचे लेबल लावून औषधांची विक्री करण्यात येत होती. चमूने औषधांसह लेबल आणि स्टीकर जप्त केले. अनेक औषधांच्या बॉटलवर एमआरपी ५,९९९ रुपये असल्याच्या नोंदीमुळे अधिकारीही आश्चर्यचकित झाले. देशातील मोठ्या आणि प्रसिद्ध कंपन्यांची औषधी एवढी महाग नसल्याचे तथ्य पुढे आले.
कनेक्शनची करताहेत चौकशी
औषधी हैदराबाद येथून मागविल्याची माहिती मिळाली आहे. त्यामुळे हैदराबाद कनेक्शनची चौकशी करण्यात येत आहे. अनेक औषधी लेबलविना होती. तर काही औषधांच्या लेबलवर जास्त असलेली एमआरपी आश्चर्यकारक आहे.

The registrations would close on February 28,2021. Once the registration process is closed, skill competitions will be held at district, state and regional level. Regional legs of the competitions will be organized across five zones, culminating at the national competition in Delhi.
The competitions will be organized by states and will be supported by National Skill Development Corporation, in partnership with Sector Skill Councils, Industry Partners, Corporates and Academic Organizations. The last IndiaSkills Competition held in 2018, witnessed participation of 22 states and more than 100 corporates. Over 5 lakh candidates registered for the competition.
IndiaSkills Competition 2018 helped scout 48 skill champions who along with their experts represented India at the WorldSkills International 2019, held in Kazan, Russia. India won one gold, one silver, two bronze and 15 Medallions of Excellence at the biggest competition for skills and ranked 13th among 63 countries that participated. Similarly, in 2017, India ranked 19 among 56 countries participating at the WorldSkills Competition organized in Abu Dhabi.
IndiaSkills Competitions are designed to demonstrate the highest standards of skills in India and make vocational training aspirational for the youth. Winners of IndiaSkills 2021 will get a chance to represent the country at the WorldSkills International Competition to be held in Shanghai, China in 2022.

Note for the candidates:
1. Candidates registered previously for IndiaSkills 2020 must not register again for IndiaSkills 2021 as they are already eligible to participate.
2. Any candidate registered earlier and eliminated before or at State Level Competition for IndiaSkills 2020 is not eligible for registration again for IndiaSkills 2021.
3. The eligibility criteria for the competition mandates that participants must be born on or after 1 January 1999 for all the skills apart from Mechatronics, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Water Technology and Information Network Cabling where competitors must be born on or after 1 January 1996.
4. The registrations are currently underway in a few states.

भंडारा : बऱ्याच प्रतीक्षेनंतर जिल्हा सामान्य रुग्णालयातील दहा बालकांच्या मृत्यू प्रकरणी 19 फेब्रुवारीच्या पहाटे दोन परिचारिकांवर भंडारा पोलीस ठाण्यात सदोष मनुष्यवधाचा गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला. तब्बल ४० दिवसानंतर या प्रकरणात गुन्हा दाखल झाला.
शुभांगी साठवणे आणि स्मिता आंबिलढुके असे गुन्हा दाखल झालेल्याचे नाव आहेत. साकोलीचे उपविभागीय अधिकारी अरुण वायकर यांनी गुरुवारी रात्री तक्रार दिली. त्यावरुन गुन्हा नोंदविण्यात आल्याची माहिती, जिल्हा पोलीस अधीक्षक वसंत जाधव यांनी दिली.
भंडारा सामान्य रुग्णालयात ९ जानेवारीच्या पहाटे लागलेल्या आगीत दहा बालकांचा जळून मृत्यू झाला होता. याप्रकरणात आतापर्यत अकस्मात मृत्यूची नोंद होती. या प्रकरणाची उच्चस्तरीय चौकशीही करण्यात आली. त्यावरून जिल्हा शल्यचिकित्सकासह सात जणांवर कारवाई करण्यात आली होती. मात्र गुन्हा दाखल झाला नव्हता. या प्रकरणात दोन्ही परिचारिकांनी अटकपूर्व जामिनासाठी भंडारा जिल्हा न्यायालयात अर्ज दाखल केला आहे. त्यावर २२ फेब्रुवारी सुनावणी होणार आहे. त्यामुळे आरोपींच्या अटकेसाठी पोलिसांना प्रतीक्षा करावी लागणार आहे.
सांगली : सांगली जिल्ह्यातील भाटशिरगांव (ता शिराळा) येथे पत्नीला वाचवायला गेलेल्या पतीसह पत्नीचा दुर्दैवी मृत्यू झालाय. शेताजवळील पाझर तलावात बुडून दोघांचा मृत्यू झालाय. अर्जुन लक्ष्मण देसाई (57) आणि सुमन अर्जून देसाई (55) अशा या शेतकरी दाम्पत्यांची नावं आहेत. ही घटना बुधवारी (17 फेब्रुवारी) घडली असून यामुळे संपूर्ण गावावर शोककळा पसरली.
या बाबत घटना स्थळावरून मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, भाटशिरगावच्या अर्जुन लक्षमन देसाई (वय ५७) यांची पाझर तलावाजवळ शेत वस्ती आहे. बुधवार दुपारी अडीच वाजण्याच्या सुमारास त्यांची पत्नी सुमन पाझर तलावात बुडत असल्याचं त्यांच्या लक्षात आलं. त्यावेळी अर्जुन देसाई यांनी पाण्यात उडी मारून पत्नी सुमन यांना वाचवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. परंतू त्यामध्ये दोघांचाही मृत्यू झाला.
ही घटना घडली तेव्हा आजूबाजूला कुणीही नव्हते. मात्र, तलावाजवळच वस्तीवर असलेला त्यांचा 7 वर्षीय नातू साकेत देसाई याने ही घटना पाहिली. त्यानंतर त्याने याबाब लोकांना सांगितलं. दुपारी 3 वाजल्यापासून तानाजी गोसावी आणि पोलीस निरीक्षक विशाल पाटील यांनी ग्रामस्थांच्या सहकार्याने शोध मोहीम राबवली. अखेर सायंकाळी साडेसहा वाजता दोघांचे मृतदेह आढळून आले. यावेळी संपूर्ण गाव हळहळलं. शिराळा उपजिल्हा रुग्णालयात शवविच्छेदन केल्यानंतर रात्री उशीरा शोकाकुल वातावरणात भाटशिरगावमध्ये अंत्यसंस्कार करण्यात आले.
नागपूर: एकतर्फी प्रेमातून युवकाने गळा दाबून तरुणीला ठार मारण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. ही थरारक घटना नवीन कामठी येथे मंगळवारी उघडकीस आली. पोलिसांनी प्राणघातक हल्ला व विनयभंगाचा गुन्हा दाखल करून युवकाला अटक केली.
निखिल प्रकाश वानखेडे रा. गंगापूर, उमरेड, असे अटकेतील युवकाचे नाव आहे. तरुणी परिचारिकेच्या अभ्यासक्रमाला आहे. ती निखिल याला ओळखते. निखिल हा तिच्यावर एकतर्फी प्रेम करायला लागला. मात्र तरुणीने त्याच्या प्रेमाचा स्वीकार केला नाही. त्यामुळे तो संतापला. मंगळवारी सकाळी निखिल तरुणीच्या घरात शिरला. ‘माझ्या प्रेमाचा स्वीकार का करीत नाही. माझ्यात काय कमी आहे’,असे तो तरुणीला म्हणाला. ‘मला शिक्षण पूर्ण करायचे आहे. मी याबाबत विचारही करू शकत नाही’,असे ती निखिल याला म्हणाली. संतप्त निखिल याने तिचा गळा दाबला. तिला मारहाण केली व फरार झाला. शेजाऱ्यांनी नवीन कामठी पोलिसांना माहिती दिली. माहिती मिळताच नवीन कामठी पोलिसांचा ताफा तेथे पोहोचला. पोलिसांनी तरुणीला हॉस्पिटलमध्ये दाखल केले. तरुणीच्या तक्रारीवरून पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल केला. शोध घेऊन निखिल याला अटक केली.
Despite the pandemic, all the 212 students enrolled in the seventh batch of the two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur have been recruited. The IIM registered 100 percent summer placement which concluded on February 13.
The average stipend in this season stood at Rs 60,953 and the highest at Rs 2.50 lakh which is higher by 12.7 percent and 108 percent respectively as against the last summer placement season, the institute informed.
This year, more than 100 recruiters across various sectors including FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), consumer durables, Edtech, E-commerce, analytics, consulting, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), oil and gas, pharmaceutical, and real estate participated in the process.
This year also witnessed participation from many first-time recruiters making double-digit offers to the students. Several organizations have hired the students for their premier internship program, the IIM said.
The current batch comes with an average work experience of 30 months, and consists of a pool of students with educational backgrounds varying from commerce, engineering, and science.
BFSI and Ed-Tech emerged as the most sought-after sectors, followed by FMCG/D and manufacturing, with more than 50 percent of the batch opting for a summer internship in these industries. The current year also witnessed participation from consulting, health and pharma, e-commerce, media and entertainment with more than 20 percent of the batch choosing profiles in these sectors. Marketing and consulting were the most sought-after profiles by the students. Apart from these, roles in analytics, finance, and operations were offered to the students, the institute informed.
SENIOR UN official Siddharth Chatterjee of India has formally taken over as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in China, a key posting of overseeing the work of 27 agencies, funds and programmes of the global organisation in the world’s most populous country. He will be UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’s senior-most UN Representative in China as the UN Resident Coordinator. Chatterjee, whose early career was in the Indian Army, was decorated for gallantry by the President of India in 1995.
He holds a master’s degree in public policy from Princeton University in the United States, and a bachelor’s degree from the National Defence Academy in India. Commenting on his new assignment, Chatterjee told PTI here: “Over the past four decades, the world has witnessed the profound economic and social transformations that have taken place in China, lifting hundreds of millions out of poverty.
“As the UN Resident Coordinator to China, I look forward to leading the UN Country Team to work with the government to preserve this hard-won progress China has made as well as share China’s vast experience to solve global development challenges and accelerate the drive to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. MAHARASHTRA Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday gave a clear warning that unless people strictly to COVID-19 protocols, they should be prepared for another bout of lockdown in view of the increasing cases in the State. For starters, he has ordered all authorities concerned to ban public processions, rallies, meetings and gatherings to avoid overcrowding, besides mandatory wearing of face masks in public. Thackeray also announced that the ‘Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Aarogya Yojana’ (MJPJAY) scheme is being extended for another two months in the State to treat COVID-19 patients at State expense.
The CM’s stringent directives came in a high-level review meeting of the COVID-19 status in the State in which Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Health Minister Rajesh Tope, Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar, all Divisional Commissioners, Collectors, police and health officers, and members of COVID-19 Task Force and others took part. Expressing serious concern at the renewed spread of COVID-19, the CM asked the administration strictly enforce all the SOPs for coronavirus control with penal measures against those violating the norms. “Avoid overcrowding. Use face-masks, follow all protocols while in public events, gatherings, weddings, etc… It is up to you. Otherwise, be prepared for another lockdown,” Thackeray said without mincing words. Reviewing the situation district-wise, the CM said that the falling incidence of corona cases had resulted in laxity among the citizens, and they were not following the protocols but urged the administration not to become lax.
Besides, Thackeray directed that contingency zones should be set up in areas where the number of patients is increasing, a structural audit of the jumbo field hospitals be undertaken, and local bodies must disinfect all public places, toilets, bus stands, parks, etc. Other measures were also directed including performing COVID-19 tests in target areas, identifying at least 20 contacts of individual patients, and creating a health map of the State through the ‘My Family, My Responsibility’ initiative.
The authorities will also discuss with all business organizations and associations whether the SOPs are being followed and ensure their implementation, police permission would be needed for marriages, banquet/hall owners would be booked if they allowed anybody without masks, etc. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari said that the threat of COVID-19 has not gone fully and called upon people to exercise utmost vigil since nobody knows for how long the scourge will last. In a grim observation, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar rued that barely 60 per cent of suburban train commuters were not wearing face-masks, posing a risk of further spread of COVID-19 in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, as indicated by the sudden spurt in fresh cases. “Let us not push ourselves to another lockdown. It’s the people who must take the case We should not go back to square one,” she appealed.
केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षण मंडळाने (CBSE) दहावी आणि बारावीच्या परीक्षांबाबत एक परिपत्रक जारी केले आहे. हे परिपत्रक दहावी आणि बारावीच्या प्रात्यक्षिक परीक्षा (CBSE 10th 12th practical), प्रकल्पांचे काम आणि अंतर्गत मूल्यांकनाबद्दल आहे. मंडळाने सर्व संबंधित शाळांना हे परिपत्रक पाठविले आहे. या परीक्षांबाबत कोणते नियम आहेत ते जाणून घ्या.
आतापर्यंत सीबीएसई प्रात्यक्षिक परीक्षा १ जानेवारी ते ७ फेब्रुवारी या कालावधीत होत होत्या. पण यावेळी कोविडमुळे संपूर्ण सत्र उशिरा सुरू झाले. परिणामी सीबीएसई बोर्डाच्या परीक्षा मे-जूनमध्ये घेण्यात येणार आहेत. त्यामुळे प्रात्यक्षिक आणि अंतर्गत परीक्षांचा कालावधीही वाढविण्यात आला आहे. यावेळी मंडळाने सर्व शाळांना दिनांक १ मार्च २०२१ ते ११ जून २०२१ या कालावधीत दहावी आणि बारावीच्या सर्व प्रात्यक्षिक परीक्षा, प्रोजेक्ट वर्क आणि अंतर्गत मूल्यांकन पूर्ण करण्याचे निर्देश दिले आहेत.
CBSE practical, project, internal exams 2021: हे आहेत नियम –
१. या परीक्षा संपल्यानंतर शाळांनी सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांचे गुण मंडळाच्या संकेतस्थळावर दिलेल्या लिंकद्वारे अपलोड करावे लागतील. गुण अपलोड करताना विशेष काळजी घ्यावी लागेल कारण सीबीएसई त्यामध्ये सुधारणा करण्याची दुसरी संधी देणार नाही.
२. प्रत्यक्ष परीक्षा केवळ मंडळाने नियुक्त केलेल्या परीक्षकाद्वारे घेतली जाईल. जर एखाद्या शाळेने ही परीक्षा एखाद्या शिक्षकाद्वारे घेतली तर ती रद्द होईल. विद्यार्थ्यांना थिअरी परीक्षेत मिळालेल्या गुणांच्या आधारे सरासरी गुण दिले जातील. तसेच शाळेची मान्यता रद्द होईल आणि तेथील प्राचार्यांविरोधात कारवाई केली जाईल.
३. विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या शाळेत येऊन प्रात्यक्षिक परीक्षा आणि अंतर्गत मूल्यांकन द्यावे लागेल. बाह्य परीक्षक तसेच अंतर्गत परीक्षकही प्रत्येक शाळेत यासाठी उपलब्ध असतील. या परीक्षांच्या देखरेखीसाठी मंडळामार्फत निरीक्षकही नेमले जातील.
४. शाळांना १ मार्च ते ११ जून २०२१ पर्यंत अंतर्गत गुण अपलोड करावे लागतील. ११ जूननंतर यास परवानगी दिली जाणार नाही आणि ही मुदतदेखील वाढविली जाणार नाही.
५. ज्या विद्यार्थ्यांना ठरलेल्या तारखेला प्रात्यक्षिक किंवा अंतर्गत मूल्यमापन परीक्षेस उपस्थित राहता येणार नाही, त्या विद्यार्थ्यांच्या अनुपस्थितीची माहिती शाळांना संबंधित सीबीएसई रिजनल ऑफिसला द्यावी लागेल. त्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी पुन्हा परीक्षा घेतली जाऊ शकते, ज्यांच्यासाठी परीक्षकांची नेमणूक प्रादेशिक कार्यालयामार्फत केली जाईल. या पुनर्परीक्षा ११ जून २०२१ पूर्वी घेता येतील. यानंतर कोणतीही संधी मिळणार नाही.
६. या परीक्षांच्या वेळी प्रत्येक शाळेने कोविड -१९ सुरक्षाविषयक नियमांचे योग्य पालन केले पाहिजे. जर २५ विद्यार्थ्यांची तुकडी असेल तर त्यांना दोन लहान गटात विभागून परीक्षा दिली जाऊ शकते. पुढे दिलेल्या सीबीएसई नोटिस दुव्यावर क्लिक करुन तुम्ही तपशीलवार माहिती मिळवू शकता.
Nagpur: A 25-year-old man got a new lease of life after a bullet injury when the bullet stuck in his rib cage was successfully removed in a surgery performed at Wockhardt Hospital Nagpur. The man, from a small town in Madhya Pradesh, was shot by a rival in an ongoing property dispute. The bullet was stuck in his rib cage leading to a fracture and a severe wound.
Immediate surgery was suggested to save his life which was not possible to be conducted in their home town due to lack of facilities. The family, as informed by them, had heard about the high-end medical care provided in Wockhardt Hospitals so they decided to get the treatment done at the hospital. The complicated and high-risk surgery was performed by Dr. Sameet Pathak, Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon and Dr. Manoj Pahukar, Orthopaedic Surgeon along with Dr. Swanand Melag, Anesthetist.
The man had lung as well as a bone injury where the bullet was stuck for more than 24 hours inside his body before he got admitted at Wockhardt hospital. As a lot of time had already passed, it was very important to remove the bullet from the body as the longer the bullet remained inside the body, there were higher the chances of wound infection and fatality. Cardiac and orthopedic surgery was performed on the patient in the same sitting and it took only five days for him to recover and get discharged from the hospital.
“I was admitted in the hospital after I was shot on my left shoulder and a high-end surgery was advised. The way I was taken care of was very good. All the staff members- Nursing, doctors and Housekeeping staff took good care of me and I recovered only in five days”, said the victim. “I was also counseled that I can avail the benefits of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister’s fund through which I also got financial help”, he added.

Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, the Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology, Communications and Law &Justice, today held a virtual meeting with Amit Agarwal, Amazon’s Global Senior Vice President and Country Head for India. Range of issues related to digital sector were discussed during this meeting. After this meeting Amazon India has made an announcement to start manufacturing of electronics products from India. To begin with, Amazon is going to start manufacturing of Amazon Fire TV stick from India.
Speaking on the occasion Shri. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology and Law & Justice, Government of India said “India is an attractive investment destination and is poised to become a major player in the global supply chain in the electronics and IT products industry. Our Government’s decision to launch a Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme has received a tremendous response globally. We welcome Amazon’s decision to set up a manufacturing line in Chennai, as it will enhance domestic production capacities, and create jobs as well. This will further our mission of creating an AatmaNirbhar Bharat which is digitally empowered.” Minister also mentioned that it is only a beginning for Amazon’s efforts to manufacture electronics products from India for India and export markets.
Amazon will commence its manufacturing efforts with contract manufacturer Cloud Network Technology, a subsidiary of Foxconn in Chennai and start production later this year. The device manufacturing program will be able to produce hundreds of thousands of Fire TV Stick devices every year, catering to the demands of customers in India. Amazon will continuously evaluate scaling capacity to additional marketplaces/cities depending on the domestic demand.

नागपूर : पत्नीचे अनैतिक संबंध असून, सतत प्रियकराशी बोलते, अशा संशयाचे भूत डोक्यात शिरलेल्या पतीने पत्नीचा लाकडी दांड्याने मारून खून केला. ही थरारक घटना घटना पारडी पोलिस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीत मॉ उमिया एमआयडीसी येथे उघडकीस आली. ज्योती ललित मार्कंडे (२३) असे मृत विवाहितेचे नाव असून ललित मार्कंडे (२६) असे आरोपी पतीचे नाव आहे.
नेहमीप्रमाणेच सोमवारी रात्री ११ वाजता ललित आणि ज्योती यांनी इतर नातेवाईकांसोबत जेवण केले. त्यानंतर दोघेही दुसऱ्या बाजूला झोपायला गेले. मात्र, ललित हा ज्योतीवर संशय घेत असल्याने त्यांच्यात कुरबूर सुरूच होती. रात्रीच्या वेळी ज्योती ही झोपेत असताना ललित लाकडी दांड्याने डोक्यावर वार करून ठार केले आणि पळून गेला. सकाळ झाली तरीही ती झोपेतून न उठल्याने एक नातेवाईक त्यांच्याकडे गेला असता ज्योती ही रक्ताच्या थारोळ्यात पडून होती. ललित तेथे नव्हता.
याची माहिती पारडी पोलिसांना देण्यात आली. माहिती मिळताच पारडीचे वरिष्ठ पोलिस निरीक्षक सुनील गांगुर्डे सहकाऱ्यांसह घटनास्थळी दाखल झाले. पोलिसांनी लगेच शोधमोहीम राबवून गावाला पळून जाण्याच्या तयारीत असलेल्या ललीतला पोलिसांनी पकडले. याप्रकरणी पारडी पोलिसांनी खुनाचा गुन्हा नोंदवून ललीतला अटक केली आहे.
जबलपूरला पळून जाणार होता
पत्नीचा खून केल्यानंतर ललीत घरातून पळून गेला. तो जबलपूरला जाण्याच्या तयारीत होता. त्याने घरातील सर्व पैसे घेतले आणि हायवे हायलाईफ फॅमिली रेस्ट्रॉरेंट, उमरेड रोडवर गेला. तेथे वाहनाची वाट पाहत असतानाच पोलिसांनी मोबाईल लोकेशन काढले. त्यावरून त्याला शहर सोडून जाण्यापूर्वीच अटक केली.
तीन महिन्यांपूर्वीच झाले होते लग्न
तीन महिन्यांपूर्वी ललीत आणि ज्योतीचे लग्न झाले होते. ज्योती ही नागपुरातील रहिवासी होती. लग्नानंतर तो ज्योतीला घेऊन आरामशीन येथे आला होता. काही दिवस चांगले गेले. त्यानंतर तो ज्योतीच्या चारित्र्यावर संशय घेऊ लागला. ज्योती फोनवरून कुणाशीतरी रात्री उशिरापर्यंत तसेच अनेकदा ललीतच्या चोरून बोलत होती. त्यामुळे त्याचा संशय आणखीनच बळावला होता. त्यावरून त्यांच्यात कुरबूर सुरू होती. पती-पत्नीचा वाद असल्याने इतर नातेवाइकांनी त्यांच्याकडे लक्ष दिले नव्हते.
नागपूर : पती दारुडा आहे, मावा खातो, तंबाखू खातो म्हणून घटस्फोट मागणारी प्रकरणे आजवर अनेक पाहिली असतील पण पत्नी मावा खाते म्हणून घटस्फोटाचा केलेला अर्ज मुंबई हायकोर्टाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठाने फेटाळला आहे. व्यसन गंभीर असले तरी या कारणाने घटस्फोट मंजूर करता येत नसल्याचे खंडपीठाने नमूद केले.
नागपूरमधील संदीप आणि सुनीता या दाम्पत्याच्या घटस्फोटाच्या प्रकरणात नागपूर खंडपीठासमोर सुनावणी झाली. यावेळी न्यायमूर्ती अतुल चांदूरकर आणि पुष्पा गनेडीवाला यांनी हा निर्णय दिला. न्यायमूर्ती गनेडीवाला यांनी बाललैंगिक शोषणाबाबत दिलेल्या दोन वादग्रस्त निकालांमुळे त्या चर्चेत आल्या.
नागपूरचे रहिवासी असलेल्या या दाम्पत्याचा १५ जून २००३ रोजी विवाह झाला होता. सुनीता घरातील दैनंदिन कामे करीत नाही, क्षुल्लक कारणावरून वाद घालते, न सांगता माहेरी जाऊन एक-एक महिना राहते, आपल्याला रोज डबा करून देत नाही, असे आरोप संदीपने केले होते. तसेच तिला मावा खाण्याचे व्यसन आहे. त्यामुळे तिच्या पोटाच्या आजारावर उपचार करण्यासाठी महागडा खर्च करावा लागला, असा दावाही शंकरने घटस्फोटासाठी केलेल्या याचिकेत केला होता. मात्र हे कारण घटस्फोटासाठी पुरेसे नाही, असे मत खंडपीठाने व्यक्त केले. या दाम्पत्याला दोन मुले असून त्यांच्यासाठी एकत्र राहणे हिताचे आहे, असेही निकालात नमूद केले आहे.
Exploiting the spin-friendly conditions, a dominant Indian cricket team thumped England by 317 runs in the second Test to level the four-match series 1-1, at MA Chidambaram Stadium on Tuesday.
India bundled out England for 164 in its second innings with more than four sessions to spare in the match.
The victory was crucial for India in the context of the World Test Championship as they need to win the series at least with a 2-1 margin or better to make the cut for the title clash against New Zealand.
India had lost the opening Test at the same venue by a massive 227-run margin.
The Test series will now move to Ahmedabad where the third Test, which will be a day/night affair with pink ball, begins on February 24.
In pursuit of an improbable 482-run target on a difficult pitch, England began at the overnight score of 53 for three but their batsmen struggled to counter the spin challenge posed by the home bowlers.

नागपूर : शहरात कोरोनाचा प्रादुर्भाव पुन्हा वाढत आहे. ९ नवीन हॉट स्पॉट निर्माण झाल्याने मनपा प्रशासनाची झोप उडाली आहे. कोविड नियंत्रणासाठी बाधितांचा सर्वे करण्यासोबतच स्क्रिनिंग व बाधितांना उपचारासाठी पाठविले जात आहे. अशा परिस्थितीत मंगल कार्यालय , लॉन, सभागृहात विना अनुमती समारंभ आयोजित केल्यास व नियमाचे उल्लघन केल्यास सील करण्याचा इशारा मनपा आयुक्त राधाकृसन बी. यांनी दिला होता. असे असतानाही विना अनुमती विवाह समारंभ आयोजनाला परवानगी दिल्या प्रकरणी सोमवारी नरेंद्र नगर येथील तुकाराम सभागृहाचे संचालक व विवाह समारंभ आयोजक यांना मनपाच्या उपद्रव शोध पथकाने प्रत्येकी ५ हजारांचा दंड आकारला.

नागपूर : देशातील 30 टक्के वाहन परवाने हे बोगस आहेत. हा धक्कादायक खुलासा नागपुरात खुद्द केंद्रीय दळण वळण मंत्री नितीन गडकरी ह्यांनी केलाय. मात्र, त्याचबरोबर आपले अधिकारी आणि इंजिनियर्स ह्यांना ह्या बोगस लायसन्स, रस्त्यावरचे मृत्यू ह्याला जवाबदार धरले आहे. गडकरी हे रस्ता सुरक्षा अभियानाच्या एका कार्यक्रमात बोलत होते. ह्या कार्यक्रमाला अभिनेता मकरंद अनासपुरेही उपस्थित होते.
केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी हे त्यांच्या रोखठोक बोलण्यासाठी प्रसिद्ध आहेत. नागपुरात एका कार्यक्रमात बोलताना त्यांनी आपल्याच विभागाच्या अधिकाऱ्यांना धारेवर धरले. वाहन परवाना घ्यायला सर्वात सोपा देश भारत आहे. आरटीओ ऑफिसर्सची माफी मागतो. पण, गांधीजी दिसले की मारा ठप्पा. सांगायला लाज वाटते पण 30% लायसन्स बोगस असल्याचा दावा गडकरी यांनी केलाय. आपला मुलगा किंवा मुलगी मरेपर्यंत लोक सुधारत नाही. मी स्वतः कधीही सरकारी गाडी वापरत नाही. कुठल्याही पदावर जाऊ देत कारण सुरक्षा महत्वाची आहे. यासाठी मी नियम बदलले आहे.
रस्ते अपघातासाठी इंजिनियर्स जबाबदार
गरीब माणसालाही सुरक्षा हवी का म्हणून एअर बॅग्स फक्त मोठ्या गाड्यांना? सर्व गाड्यांना एअर बग्स हव्या, असे मत गडकरी यांनी व्यक्त केलं. ह्यावेळी पैसे मिळाले की आरटीओ अधिकारी लायसन्स देतात अशी टीकाही त्यांनी आपल्याच व्यवस्थेवर केली आहे. तर रस्त्यावरच्या अपघाताला गडकरींनी आपल्याच इंजिनियर्सला जबाबदार धरले आहे. रोड इंजिनियरिंग महत्वाचे आहे. अर्ध्या रस्त्यावरच्या मृत्यूंना तर ह्यांचे इंजिनियर जबाबदार आहे. ह्यांचा डी पी आर, ह्यांचे लोक इतके फ्रॉड आणि बोगस आहेत. मी आता 12000 कोटी रुपये खर्च करून ब्लॅक स्पॉट्स ठीक केले आहे. पुणे-कोल्हापूर रस्त्यावर जयसिंगपूर येथे 150 लोकांना रस्ता वाकडा असल्यामुळे जीव गमवावा लागला. पण, कोणी काही केले नाही. तो मी ठीक केला आता कोणी तिथे पडत नाही, अशी आठवण गडकरी यांनी सांगितली.
नव्या आठवड्याची झोकाने सुरुवात करत सेन्सेक्स आणि निफ्टीने आपली विक्रमी घोडदौड कायम ठेवली आहे. आज सोमवारी सकाळी बाजार सुरु होताच सेन्सेक्स ५०० अंकांनी वधारला आणि तो ५२००० अंकांच्या पातळीवर गेला आहे. पहिल्यांदाचा सेन्सेक्सने ही विक्रमी पातळी गाठली आहे. या तेजीत गुंतवणूकदारांची मालमत्ता किमान एक लाख कोटींनी वाढली आहे.
आजच्या सत्रात बँका, वित्त संस्था, एफएमसीजी, ऑटो या शेअरला चांगली मागणी आहे. सेन्सेक्सने सकाळी ९.३० वाजता ५२०४०.०० अंकांची विक्रमी पातळी गाठली. निफ्टीने १३२ अंकांची झेप घेत १५३०० अंकांपुढे गेला आहे.
अमेरिकेकडून आर्थिक पॅकेज वाढवण्याची शक्यता आहे. तशा प्रकारच्या हालचाली वॉशिंग्टनमधून होत आहेत. त्यातच जगभरात करोना रोखण्यासाठीची लसीकरण मोहीम वेगाने सुरु आहे. दुसरीकडे कच्च्या तेलाचा भाव झपाट्याने वाढत असून इंधन मागणीत सुधारणा झाली आहे. हे सर्व संकेत अर्थव्यवस्था सावरत असल्याचे असून त्यामुळेच उदयोन्मुख बाजारपेठांमध्ये गुंतवणूकदारांनी जोरदार गुंतवणूक केली असल्याचे शेअर बाजार विश्लेषकांचे म्हणणे आहे. आशियाचा विचार करता जपान निक्केई १.३ टक्क्यांनी वधारला आहे. तर ऑस्ट्रेलियातील शेअर बाजारात १ टक्क्यांची वाढ झाली आहे.
आजच्या सत्रात सेन्सेक्समधील ३० पैकी २५ शेअर तेजीत आहेत. त्यात इंडसइंड बँक, एचडीएफसी, आयसीआयसीआय बँक, एचडीएफसी, कोटक बँक, मारुती, एसबीआय, ऍक्सिस बँक, टायटन, अल्ट्राटेक सिमेंट, एचयूएल या शेअरमध्ये वाढ झाली आहे. तर एचसीएल टेक, टीसीएस, महिंद्रा अँड महिंद्रा, टेक महिंद्रा आणि ओएनजीसी या शेअरमध्ये घसरण झाली आहे.
New Delhi: The automatic toll plaza payment system FASTag will become mandatory from today midnight, the center said on Sunday in a statement. Those who don’t install FASTag in their vehicles or have a tag that does not work will have to pay twice the fee for the category of the vehicle they are driving. To ensure a smooth transition to the FASTag system, the government said all fee lanes in toll plazas on National Highways will be able to read the tags.
“Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has decided that all lanes in the fee plazas on National Highways shall be declared as FASTag lane of the fee plaza w.e.f midnight of 15th/16th February 2021.Therefore, as per NH Fee Rules 2008, any vehicle not fitted with FASTag or vehicle without valid, functional FASTag entering into the FASTag lane of the fee plaza shall pay a fee equivalent to two times of the fee applicable to that category,” the government’s Press Information Bureau said in a statement on Sunday.
The government said the complete migration to FASTag will help promote fee payment through digital mode, reduce waiting time and fuel consumption, and provide for a seamless passage through fee plazas.
The Transport Ministry had mandated FASTag in “M and N” categories of vehicles. “M” category stands for a vehicle with at least four wheels used for carrying passengers. And category “N” stands for a vehicle with four wheels used for carrying goods as well as passengers.
Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Sunday said deadline for using FASTag would not be extended and vehicle owners should immediately use the e-payment facility.
FASTag was introduced in 2016. Mr Gadkari said the government had extended the FASTag registration date limit several times before, and now it would not be extended anymore.
केंद्रीय प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडळाने बेकारेज मेकर्स कोक, पेप्सी आणि बाटलीबंद पाणी निर्मिती करणारी कंपनी बिस्लेरी यांना प्लॅस्टिक कचरा विल्हेवाट लावण्याविषयी आाणि संकलनाविषयी माहिती न दिल्याबद्दल दंड ठोठावला आहे. प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडळाने भारी दंड आकारला असून संबंधित कंपन्यांना त्याच्या नोटिसा पाठविल्या आहेत. एका इंग्रजी वृत्तपत्राने दिलेल्या वृत्तानुसार, बिस्लेरी कंपनीला 10.7575 कोटी, पेप्सीको इंडिया होल्डिंग्ज आणि हिंदुस्तान कोका-कोला बेव्हरेज यांना 7.7 कोटी आणि 60.66 कोटी रुपयांचा दंड ठोठावला आहे.
कोक, पेप्सी आणि बिस्लेरी व्यतिरिक्त योगगुरू बाबा रामदेव यांची कंपनी पतंजलीलाही प्लॅस्टिक कचरा विल्हेवाट लावण्याविषयी आाणि संकलनाविषयी माहिती न दिल्याबद्दल दंड ठोठावला आहे. पतंजलीला 1 कोटी आणि टाटा कंझ्युमर प्रॉडक्ट्स लिमिटेड आणि पेप्सीको यांच्या संयुक्त उद्यम नौरिस्को बेव्हरेज यांना 85.9 लाख रुपये दंड ठोठावला आहे.बिस्लेरीचा प्लॅस्टिक कचरा सुमारे 21500 टन झाला असून या कंपनीला प्रति टन 5000 रुपये दंड आकारण्यात आला आहे. पेप्सीकोचा कचरा 11,194 टन होता.
15 दिवसांत दंड भरण्याचे आदेश
विशेष म्हणजे, प्लॅस्टिक कचर्याबाबत एक्सटेंडेड प्रोड्यूसर रिस्पांसिबिलिटी अशी एक पॉलिसी आहे. ज्याच्या आधारे प्लॅस्टिक कंपन्यांना उत्पादनाची विल्हेवाट लावण्याची जबाबदारी स्वीकारावी लागते. या सर्व कंपन्यांना ठोठावण्यात आलेला दंड 15 दिवसांत भरावा लागेल, असे सीपीसीबीने म्हटले आहे.
