नागपूर: नागपूरचे महापौर संदीप जोशी यांच्यावर मध्यरात्री जीवघेणा हल्ला करण्यात आला. दोन अज्ञात हेल्मेटधारी हल्लेखोरांनी महापौरांच्या वाहनावर देशी कट्ट्यातून गोळ्या झाडल्या. या हल्ल्यात महापौर जोशी थोडक्यात बचावले. या हल्लेखोरांनी महापौर जोशी यांच्यावर एकूण ४ गोळ्या झाडून ते पसार झाले. ही घटना अमरावती आउटर रिग रोडवर घडली असून हल्ल्याच्या वेळी महापौर स्वत: गाडी चालवत होते. नागपुरात विधिमंडळाचे अधिवेशन सुरू असताना ही घटना घडल्याने नागपुरातील कायदा आणि सुव्यवस्थेचा प्रश्न ऐरणीवर आला आहे.
महापौर संदीप जोशी यांनी काल वर्धा मार्गावर असलेल्या जामठा येथील राष्ट्रीय कर्करोग संस्थेजवळील रसरंजन धाब्यावर त्यांच्या लग्नाच्या वाढदिवसाचा कार्यक्रम आयोजित कोला होता. हा कार्यक्रम आटोपून ते सुमारे १२ वाजण्याच्या सुमाराला आपले कुटुंबीय आणि मित्रांसह नागपूरला येत होते. त्यांच्यासोबत एकूण सात गाड्या होत्या,. त्यांचे कुटुंबीय आणि मित्रांच्या गाड्या त्यांच्या गाडीच्या पुढे होत्या. जोशी यांची फॉर्च्युनर ही गाडी सर्वांच्या मागे धावत होती. त्यांचा ताफा राष्ट्रीय कर्करोग संस्थेजवळ येताच अज्ञात हल्लेखोरांनी त्यांच्यावर बेछूट गोळीबार केला. हल्ल्यादरम्यान हल्लेखोरांनी एकूण ४ गोळ्या झाडल्या. या गोळ्या त्यांच्या गाडीच्या काचा भेदून आत शिरल्या. मात्र सुदैवाने त्याना कोणतीही ईजा झाली नाही.
६ डिसेंबरला धमकावले होते
नागपूरचे महापौर संदीप जोशी यांना ६ डिसेंबर या दिवशी धमकावण्यात आले होते. जोशी यांनी नागपूर शहरातील वाहतूक कोंडी सोडवण्यासाठी शहरातील प्रमुख मार्ग आणि बाजार परिसरातील अतिक्रमण हटवण्याचा संकल्प केला होता. त्यासाठी कारवाईही सुरू करण्यात आली होती. शिवाय नागरिकांच्या समस्या आणि तक्रारी जाणून घेण्यासाठी नागपूर शहरात अनेक ठिकाणी १०० तक्रार बॉक्स लावण्यात आले होते. यातील एका बॉक्समध्ये संदीप जोशी यांना निनावी धमकीचे पत्र आले होते. या पत्रात त्यांना आणि त्यांच्या कुटुंबीयांना जीवे मारण्याची धमकी देण्यात आली होती. जोशी यांनी याची तक्रारही दाखल केली होती.

नवी दिल्ली :उन्नाव सामुहिक बलात्कार प्रकरणी दिल्लीतील तीस हजारी न्यायालयाकडून आज दुपारी ३ वाजता निर्णय देण्यात येणार आहे. या प्रकरणात आमदार कुलदीप सिंह सेंगर प्रमुख आरोपी आहे. तो तिहार कारागृहात कैदेत आहे. कुलदीप सिंह सेंगरवर आरोप सिद्ध झाल्यास त्याला जन्मठेपेची शिक्षा होऊ शकते.
४ जून २०१७ मध्ये उन्नाव पीडितेवर सामुहिक बलात्कार करण्यात आला होता. या प्रकरणात कुलदीप सिंह सेंगरसह आणखी एक आरोपी शशि सिंहवरही आरोप लावण्यात आले आहेत. शशि सिंहवर ती पीडितेला सेंगरकडे घेऊन गेल्याचा, पीडितेचं अपहरण केल्याचा आरोप आहे. या संपूर्ण प्रकरणात ५ एफआयआर दाखल करण्यात आले आहेत. पीडितेवर सामुहिक बलात्कार केल्याची दुसरी एफआयआर दाखल करण्यात आली आहे. तर तिसरी पीडितेच्या वडिलांना मारहाण आणि त्यानंतर पोलीस कोठडीत त्यांच्या मृत्यू झाल्याबाबत दाखल आहे.
त्याशिवाय पाचवी एफआयआर यावर्षी २८ जुलै रोजी साक्ष देण्यासाठी पीडिता अलाहबाद कोर्टात जात असताना रायबरेलीमध्ये तिचा अपघात झाला होता. या अपघातात पीडितेच्या कुटुंबातील दोन महिलांचा मृत्यू झाला होता. अपघातात पीडिता आणि तिचे वकील गंभीर जखमी झाले होते. या अपघात प्रकरणांतही आमदार कुलदीप सिंग सेंगर प्रमुख आरोपी आहे. याप्रकरणी सीबीआयकडून तपास सुरु आहे.
पीडितेसोबत झालेल्या अपघातानंतर सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने (Supreme Court) CBIला ७ दिवसांत चौकशीचे आदेश दिले होते. सोबतच याची सुनावणी दिल्लीच्या तीस हजारी कोर्टाकडे सोपवण्यात आली होती.
दिल्ली: दिल्लीमध्ये काँग्रेसने मोदी सरकारविरोधात ‘देश बचाओ रॅली काढली आहे. रामलीला मैदानावर या रॅलीचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. या रॅली दरम्यान काँग्रेसच्या महासचिव प्रियांका गांधी यांनी भाजपवर जोरदार निशाणा साधला आहे. ‘मोदी सरकारमुळे चार कोटी रोजगार नष्ट झाले आहेत. भाजपच्या सहा वर्षाच्या सरकारमध्ये जीडीपीची मोठी घसरण झाली आहे. तरी सुध्दा प्रत्येक बस स्टॉपवर मोदी है तो मुमकीन है, अशा जाहिराती दिसत आहेत, अशी टीका प्रियांका गांधी यांनी केली आहे.
‘भाजप आहे तर १०० रुपये किलो कांदा शक्य आहे. भाजप आहे तर ४ कोटी रोजगार नष्ट होणे शक्य आहे. भाजप आहे तर ४५ वर्षात सर्वात जास्त बेरोजगारी शक्य आहे. भाजप आहे तर १५ हजार शेतकऱ्यांच्या आत्महत्या शक्य आहे, असा आरोप प्रियांका गांधी यांनी केला आहे. नागरिकत्व सुधारणा कायद्यावरुन प्रियांका गांधी यांनी मोदी सरकारवर हल्ला करत या कायद्यामुळे देशाला धोका असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.
ही रॅली देशाला वाचवण्यासाठी आहे. देशामध्ये महिला अत्याचार आणि बलात्काराच्या घटना वाढत चालल्या आहेत त्याला थांबवायचे आहे. प्रत्येक व्यक्तीला न्याय मिळाला पाहिजे. त्यामुळे देशातील नागरिकांनी आताच आवज उठवणे गरजेचे आहे. जर आपण आज याविरुध्द बोललो नाही तर डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकरांनी दिलेली राज्यघटना नष्ट होईल, असे प्रियांका गांधीनी सांगितले.
औरंगाबाद, 14 डिसेंबर : शिर्डीला (Shirdi) फिरण्यासाठी आणि साईंच्या दर्शनासाठी येणारे पर्यटक गायब होण्याच्या घटना काही कमी होण्याचं नाव घेत नाहीत. आतापर्यंत एका वर्षात 88 हून अधिक लोक बेपत्ता झाले आहेत. या प्रकरणात, मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाने (Bombay High Court)आता दखल घेतली आहे आणि बेपत्ता होण्यामागील मानवी तस्करी किंवा अवयव रॅकेटची चौकशी करण्याचे आदेश दिले आहेत.
मुंबई हायकोर्टाच्या औरंगाबाद (Aurangabad) खंडपीठाचे न्यायाधीश टीवी नवाडे आणि एसएम गव्हाणे यांच्या खंडपीठाने मनोज कुमार नावाच्या व्यक्तीच्या याचिकेवर सुनावणी करताना ही प्रतिक्रिया दिली. मनोज यांची पत्नी 2017मध्ये शिर्डी (Shirdi) येथून बेपत्ता झाली होती. यानंतर मनोजने आपल्या पत्नीला शोधण्याचा खूप प्रयत्न केले, परंतु त्या अद्यापही सापडल्या नाहीत.

कोर्टाने सांगितले की, पोलिसांच्या नोंदीनुसार आतापर्यंत 88 हून अधिक लोक बेपत्ता आहेत. अशा प्रकारच्या घटनांमध्ये मानवी तस्करी आणि अवयवांचे रॅकेट असू शकते असे कोर्टाने म्हटले आहे. संभाव्य शक्यता लक्षात घेता कोर्टाने अमहादनगरच्या पोलीस अधीक्षकांना तपासासाठी विशेष युनिट तयार करण्याचे आदेश दिले आहेत. महत्त्वाचे म्हणजे शिर्डी (Shirdi) हे महाराष्ट्रातील अहमदनगर जिल्ह्यात आहे. शिर्डीला साईंची नगरी म्हटलं जातं. रोज लाखो भाविक साई बाबांचं दर्शन घेण्यासाठी शिर्डीमध्ये येतात. त्यामुळे अशा घटना वेळीच थांबंवणं महत्त्वाचं आहे.
हैदराबाद, 14 डिसेंबर : तेलंगनाची राजधानी हैदराबादमध्ये पुन्हा एकदा बलात्काराची घटना घडली आहे. एका रिक्षा चालकाने 18 वर्षीय मुलीवर बलात्कार केल्याची घटना 8 डिसेंबरला घडली होती. त्याआधी दोन दिवस हैदराबाद सामूहिक बलात्कार आणि हत्याकांडातील चारही आरोपी एन्काऊंटरमध्ये ठार झाले होते. त्यानंतर झालेल्या या प्रकाराने खळबळ उडाली आहे.
याबाबत मिळालेली माहिती अशी की, पीडित मुलगी तिच्या लहान बहिणीसोबत आजीच्या घरी जात असताना हा प्रकार घ़डला होता. त्यावेळी रस्ता विसरल्यानंतर आरोपीच्या भावाने त्या दोन मुलींना पाहिलं. रिक्षाचालक असलेल्या आरोपीच्या भावाने त्या दोन्ही मुलींना घेऊन स्वत:च्या घरी पोहोचला. तेव्हा त्याच्या आईने मुलींना घरी सोडण्यासाठी लहान भावाला पाठवलं. तेव्हा त्याने मुलींना घरी घेऊन न जाता परिसरातील एका लॉजवर नेलं. लहान मुलगी झोपताच मोठ्या बहिणीवर नराधमाने बलात्कार केला. त्यानंतर रेल्वे स्थानकावर त्या दोघींना सोडून तो फरार झाला. त्यानंतर पीडित मुलीने तिच्या कुटुंबियांना फोन केला. कुटुंबियांनी पोलिसांत तक्रार दाखल केली असून पोलिसांनी दोन्ही भावांविरुद्ध गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे. फरार अरोपींचा शोध पोलीस घेत आहेत.
गेल्या महिन्यात दिशा सामूहिक बलात्कार आणि हत्याकांड प्रकरणानंतर हैदारबादसह देशभर संतापाची लाट उसळली होती. त्यानंतर पोलिसांनी चार आरोपींना ताब्यातही घेतलं. तपासासाठी घटनास्थळी आरोपींना नेले असता त्या ठिकाणी झालेल्या चकमकीत चारही आरोपी ठार झाले. त्यानंतर या चकमकीवर प्रश्नचिन्हही उपस्थित केले जात आहे. सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने चौकशीचे आदेश दिले आहेत.
आंध्र प्रदेशात शुक्रवारी दिशा विधेयक मंजूर करण्यात आलं आहे. यामध्ये महिलांबाबत घडलेल्या गुन्ह्यांची प्रकरणे 21 दिवसांत सोडवण्याचा नियम करण्यात आला आहे. तसेच यात दोषी आढळल्यास त्याला फाशी देण्याचीही तरतूद करण्यात आली आहे. या नव्या नियमाचे नाव आंध्र प्रदेश दिशा अधिनियम अपराधिक कायदा अधिनियम, 2019 असं ठेवण्यात आलं आहे.
Actor Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 2 has created quite a buzz around taking on crime against women. With Rani leading the charge as top cop Shivani Shivaji Roy, there has been much debate about who plays her arch-rival in the film. Now it is revealed who plays the villain and the name is TV actor Vishal Jethwa.
The TV actor, according to a report in Pinkvilla, says that Vishal made his debut in television with 2013’s Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, essaying the role of Akbar. The actor followed it up with roles in serials like Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Peshwa Bajirao, Chakradhari Ajaya Krishna and Ghatotkacha.
On the choice of Vishal, a source had revealed it to DNA in January this year that if Aditya Chopra chose a 21-year old to play the role against a seasoned performer like Rani, then he must have seen something in Jethwa as a filmmaker. The source was quoted as saying, “The makers have zeroed in on a young boy who will take on Rani in this much-awaited sequel. It will be a debut for this boy and everyone tells us that he is a talent to watch out for. If Adi has chosen him to be pitted against a powerful performer like Rani, one knows he must have definitely impressed the filmmaker. The role requires a menacing, blood-chilling performance and we are excited to find out who this young boy is.” It may be recalled that Tahir Raj Bhasin played Rani’s nemesis in Mardaani.
The trailer of Mardaani 2 didn’t make it clear who the villain is. However, playing a cold and merciless villain, without a face, who is constantly mocking and taunting the police, Jethwa left quite an impact. If Mardaani was about child trafficking, Mardaani 2 picks on rape by juvenile offenders.
नागपूर: नागपूर अधिवेशनात मोठी घटना घडणार आहे. यावेळेसचे नागपूर अधिवेशन ऐतिहासिक असेल. अशी प्रतिक्रिया कॅबिनेटमंत्री नितीन राऊत यांनी दिली आहे. बहुजनसमाजाचे नेते भाजपवर नाराज असल्याचं त्यांनी म्हटलं आहे. नितीन राऊत यांच्या दाव्याला तथ्य आहे. कारण महाराष्ट्र सरकारमधील ते मोठे मंत्री आहेत. त्यामुळे महाविकासआघाडीमध्य़े काय सुरु आहे हे त्यांना नक्कीच माहित आहे. नागपूर अधिवेशनात एकनाथ खडसे हे पक्ष सोडतील अशी शक्यता आहे. भूकंपाचं केंद्र आता नागपूर अधिवेशन असणार आहे.
भाजपमध्ये अनेक जण नाराज आहेत. त्यापैकी एकनाथ खडसे आणि पंकजा मुंडे ही दोन मोठी नावे आहेत. गोपीनाथ गडावर झालेल्या मेळाव्यात खडसे यांनी देखील याचे संकेत दिले होते.’ इतका अपमान होऊन पक्षात राहण्यात काय अर्थ आहे. पंकजाताई भाजपमध्येच राहतील पण माझा काय भरोसा धरु नका.’ असं देखील त्यांनी भाषक करतांना म्हटलं होतं. खडसेंनी पहिल्यांदाच नाव घेत माजी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्यावर टीका केली आहे.
‘आम्हाला पाडण्याचं पाप तुम्ही केलं. असं देखील त्यांनी म्हटलं. तुम्ही कसे ही वागलात तरी आम्ही तुमच्यासोबतच राहू असं जानकरांनी म्हटलं, मी नाही म्हणत आहे. माझ्य़ावर खोटे आरोप केले गेले हे लोकांनी मान्य केलं. पण आमचेच लोकं हे मान्य करायला तयार नाहीत.’ असा टोला देखील त्यांनी फडणवीस यांना लगावला. त्यामुळे आता नितीन राऊत यांच्या संकेतानंतर खडसे हे नेमके कोणत्या पक्षात जातात याची चर्चा सुरु झाली आहे. कारण याआधी त्यांनी मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे आणि राष्ट्रवादीचे अध्यक्ष शरद पवार यांची भेट घेतली होती.

Friday the 13th is widely considered a harbinger of bad luck, but for fans who were waiting for the trailer of Netflix’s much-awaited horror anthology Ghost Stories, it is a lucky day. The trailer of Ghost Stories was unveiled minutes ago by filmmaker Karan Johar.
Sharing the 2.18-second clip on Twitter, he wrote, “Friday the 13th would be incomplete without some chills, thrills and of course an absolute spook-fest… presenting the trailer of Ghost Stories! Coming 1st Jan! #YourFearsWillFindYou.”
Ghost Stories is an anthology of four “mind-bending stories” from the horror genre, directed by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, and Dibakar Banerjee. The quartet has earlier collaborated on Bombay Talkies and Netflix’s Lust Stories.
The trailer begins with the wedding of Mrunal Thakur and Avinash Tiwary in the segment directed by Karan Johar. As they begin getting intimate in their bedroom, the door creaks open and an unseen presence enters. While Avinash seems to be unfazed and addresses her as his “granny”, Mrunal is spooked as she cannot see anyone.
Later in the video, it is revealed that the grandmother is dead. When Mrunal says this, she is told, “Woh guzri nahi hai, sirf marr gayi hai (She has not passed away, she just died).”
Janhvi Kapoor plays a nurse named Sameera, who takes care of an elderly patient, played by Surekha Sikri, in the story helmed by Zoya Akhtar. She seems to be rattled by unexpected loud knocks on the door.
Sobhita Dhulipala plays a pregnant woman in Anurag Kashyap’s segment. A child is worried if she will continue to love him when she has her own child.
The clip also features a montage of scary visuals, including creepy dolls, a lone scarecrow and a little boy with a bloody face.
Ghost Stories will begin screaming on Netflix from January 1, 2020. Last month, Karan announced the release date with a video shared on his social media accounts. In the clip, Anurag, Zoya, Dibakar and he say that they had such a great time collaborating on Lust Stories that they “decided to go one step further” this time.
“Last year, we did Lust Stories and we had so much fun…that we decided to go one step further. We ventured into a space that none of us had been in before. So this year, we decided to do Ghost Stories. It’s about things that are not really human…monsters, supernatural,” the filmmakers said.
Ghost Stories has been produced by RSVP Movies and Flying Unicorn Entertainment and stars Mrunal Thakur, Avinash Tiwary, Janhvi Kapoor, Raghuvir Yadav, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vijay Varma and Pavel Gulati.
वर्धा: ‘बालनाट्य निर्मिती हे सर्वात कठीण काम आहे तर बालक हा जगातील सर्वात कठीण प्रेक्षक आहे’, असे उद्गार अभिनेते चिन्मय मांडलेकर यांनी वर्धा येथे गुरुवारी आयोजित सहाव्या विदर्भस्तरीय बालसाहित्य संमेलनाच्या उद्घाटनप्रसंगी काढले. ‘लहान मुलांना गोष्टी ऐकायला आणि सांगायलाही आवडतात. बालकांचे हे ऐकणे आणि सांगणे जोपर्यंत सुरू आहे, तोपर्यंत बालसाहित्य निर्मिती होतच राहील. ‘भाषा ही पहिले घरात, मग शाळेत आणि नंतर जगात बोलली जाते. मुलांना उत्तम मराठी यावी, यासाठी शाळेवर विसंबून न राहता स्वतःच्या घरापासून सुरुवात करा’, असेही ते म्हणाले. विदर्भ साहित्य संघ आणि स्कूल ऑफ स्कॉलर्स यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी यांच्या १५०व्या जयंतीवर्षानिमित्त दत्ता मेघे सभागृहात आयोजित या दोन दिवसीय संमेलनाचे उद्घाटक म्हणून ते बोलत होते.
स्थानिक विनोबा भावे व्यासपीठावर आयोजित या उद्घाटन सोहळ्याला संमेलनाध्यक्ष चंद्रकांत चन्ने यांच्यासह प्रमुख अतिथी म्हणून दत्ता मेघे अभिमत विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरू डॉ. राजीव बोरले, वि. सा. संघाचे कार्याध्यक्ष वामन तेलंग, स्वागताध्यक्ष आभा मेघे, संमेलन संयोजक संजय इंगळे तिगावकर, निमंत्रक शुभदा फडणवीस, केंद्रीय कार्यकारिणीचे सरचिटणीस विलास मानेकर, शाखा समन्वय सचिव प्रदीप दाते, अ.भा. साहित्य महामंडळाचे सदस्य डॉ. गजानन नारे, आयोजन समिती सदस्य प्राचार्य आरती चैबे, डॉ. राजेंद्र मुंढे, रंजना दाते, डॉ. गजानन कोटेवार, प्रा. शेख हाशम, प्रा. पद्माकर बाविस्कर, डॉ. स्मिता वानखेडे, मीनल रोहणकर यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती होती. यावेळी डॉ. सुनीता कावळे, हरीश इथापे, सचिन सावरकर, मोहित सहारे यांचा अतिथींच्या हस्ते सत्कार करण्यात आला. तत्पूर्वी सकाळी वर्धानगरीतून ग्रंथदिंडी काढण्यात आली. या ग्रंथदिंडीत लोक विद्यालय, राष्ट्रसंत तुकडोजी महाराज विद्यालय, केसरीमल कन्या शाळा, विकास विद्यालय, जगजीवनराम विद्यालय, स्कूल ऑफ स्कॉलर्सच्या या शाळांमधील विविध वेशभूषांमध्ये सजलेल्या व हाती ग्रंथ घेतलेल्या विद्यार्थी विद्यार्थिनींचा सहभाग होता.
दिंडीतील पालखीत भारताचे संविधान व सत्याचे प्रयोग हे ग्रंथ ठेवण्यात आले होते. छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज, महात्मा गांधी, डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या प्रतिमांना अभिवादन करीत गांधी पुतळ्याजवळ या दिंडीची सांगता झाली.
‘लहान मुलांचे बोलणे ही एक स्वतंत्र बोली असते आणि त्याचे आकलन साहित्याला नाही. त्यांच्या कल्पनांचे एक स्वतंत्र साम्राज्य असते. बालकांच्या कल्पनाशक्तीची अनुभूती मोठ्यांना येईल, तो दिवस निश्चितच महत्त्वाचा आहे. त्यासाठी मुलांना वाचण्याची क्षमता आपल्यात विकसित करावी लागेल, असे उद्गार सहाव्या विदर्भस्तरीय बालसाहित्य संमेलनाचे अध्यक्ष चंद्रकांत चन्ने यांनी काढले.
मुंबई : आज उद्धव ठाकरे आणि रश्मी ठाकरे यांच्या लग्नाचा वाढदिवस आहे. डोंबिवलीतील राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघाचे कार्यकर्ते असलेल्या पाटणकरांची मुलगी मातोश्रीचं माप ओलांडून ठाकरे झाली. तेव्हापासूनच तुमच्या सुखदुःखात पाठिशी राहीन आणि सदैव भक्कम साथ देईन, ही उद्धव ठाकरेंना दिलेली शपथ रश्मी ठाकरेंनी अत्यंत सुंदरपणे निभावली आहे. उद्धव ठाकरेंनी मुख्यमंत्री व्हावं ही तमाम शिवसैनिकांची इच्छा होतीच, पण कित्येक वर्षांपासूनचं हे रश्मी ठाकरे यांचं स्वप्न होतं.
मिर्सेस मुख्यमंत्री रश्मी ठाकरे यांनी उद्धव ठाकरेंच्या पत्नीची भूमिका निभावताना त्यांनी ठाकरेंची संस्कारी आणि मातोश्रीच्या परंपरा जपणारी सून, शिवसैनिकांच्या वहिनीसाहेब, आदित्य ठाकरेंना प्रोत्साहन देणारी आई अशा भूमिकाही चोख निभावत आहेत. ठाकरेंच्या सगळ्यात जवळचा समर्थक, राजकीय सल्लागार आणि सर्वात मोठं बलस्थान म्हणजे रश्मी ठाकरे.
सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रमात उद्धव ठाकरेंची पत्नी म्हणून त्यांची उपस्थिती असते. पण पडद्यामागे त्या शिवसेनेच्या अत्यंत सक्रिय अशा कार्यकर्त्या आहेत. मातोश्रीवर आलेल्या पाहुण्याचं स्वागत अतिशय आपुलकीने त्या करतात. माँसाहेबांसारख्याच त्या उत्तम सुगरण आहेत. शिवसैनिकांशी विशेषतः शिवसेनेच्या महिला कार्यकर्त्यांशी सातत्यानं संवाद आणि उत्तम सामाजिक आणि राजकीय नेटवर्क असल्यानं राजकीय, सामाजिक अंडरकरंटस रश्मी वहिनींपर्यंत कायम पोहोचत असतात.
रश्मी ठाकरेंचं आणखी एक वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे त्यांच्यापर्यंत आलेल्या प्रत्येक तक्रारीची, माहितीची त्या शहानिशा करतात. विशेष म्हणजे रश्मी ठाकरेंचा जेवढा तळागाळातल्या कार्यकर्त्यांशी संपर्क असतो तेवढाच त्यांचा मुंबईतल्या उच्चभ्रूंच्या पेज थ्री सर्कलमध्येही वावर असतो. त्यामुळे सगळ्या स्तरातल्या खबरी रश्मी वहिनींपर्यंत अचूक पोहोचतात.
मुळात रश्मी ठाकरेंचा राजकीय सेन्स अत्यंत चांगला आहे. ठाकरेंकडेच शिवसेनेची कमान देण्यासाठी बाळासाहेबांना राजी करण्यात रश्मी ठाकरेंची अत्यंत महत्त्वाची भूमिका होती, असं म्हणतात. त्यानंतर राज ठाकरेंच्या बंडानंतर उद्धव ठाकरे अत्यंत अस्वस्थ होते, त्यावेळी त्यांना भक्कम आधार देण्यात रश्मी ठाकरेंची महत्त्वाची भूमिका होती. ठाकरेंच्या राजकीय कारकीर्दीत विशेषतः बाळासाहेबांच्या निधनानंतर शिवसेना सांभाळण्यात उद्धव ठाकरेंना भक्कम साथ देणाऱ्या शिवसैनिक म्हणजे रश्मी ठाकरे.
१९८७ साली रश्मी ठाकरे या एलआयसीमध्ये नोकरीला लागल्या. या दरम्यान त्यांची भेट जयवंती ठाकरेंच्या सोबत झाली. मनसे अध्यक्ष राज ठाकरेंच्या जयवंती या बहिण आहेत. पुढे जयवंती यांनीच रश्मी यांची उद्धव ठाकरेंसोबत भेट करुन दिली. त्यावेळी फारसे राजकारणात सक्रीय नसलेले उद्धव ठाकरे फोटोग्राफी करायचे. पुढे या ओळखीचे रुपांतर मैत्रीत झाले. त्यानंतर १३ डिसेंबर १९८९ रोजी त्यांचा विवाह झाला.
Actor and comedy king Kapil Sharma has thanked his fans and well-wishers for their “love and blessings” as he celebrates his first wedding anniversary with wife Ginni Chatrath on Thursday. On Tuesday, they welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
Taking to Twitter, Kapil wrote: “ Today, on our first anniversary I and Ginni take an opportunity to thanks all of you for all the love & blessings you have showered on us and our little one. I can’t thank God enough for blessing us with the best gift of our life. Truly Grateful.”
After his daughter’s birth, Kapil had written on Twitter, “Blessed to have a baby girl need ur blessings to love u all Jai Mata di.”
On December 12 last year, Kapil and Ginni got married in a private ceremony in Jalandhar, Punjab. Prior to the wedding, Kapil’s family had organized a Jagran (all-nighter prayer) in Amritsar, which was attended by a host of his television friends including Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh. Ginni’s family too had organized an Akhand Path (continuous recitation of sacred texts from Sikhism) at Ginni’s residence.
In November last year, the comedian had announced his wedding with Ginni and shared a picture of his wedding invite. The invite said: “With great joy in our hearts and blessings of our parents, it gives us immense pleasure to announce that Ginni and I will embark on a new journey of love, respect and togetherness on the 12th of December, 2018.”
Kapil rose to fame with the success of his comedy show, Comedy Nights with Kapil. He successfully followed it up with The Kapil Sharma Show. However, a mid-air fight with fellow comedian Sunil Grover got him a lot of bad press and subsequently led to Sunil and Ali Asgar leaving it for good. Kapil went into depression and his work suffered badly, leading to The Kapil Sharma Show being temporarily pulled out. Kapil put on a lot of weight and his life remained in disarray.
He was, nonetheless, was able to pull himself out of the mess — towards the end of 2018, the second season of his show was launched and, in no time, was topping the TRP ratings. In mid-December, he married Ginni. Since then, his life stabilized. Speaking about it to Pinkvilla, his colleague Bharti Singh had said, “He comes on the sets cut to cut, and is always on time. We always finish the shoot on time and I always think that Ginni is very lucky and she is very sweet. She sends food not just for Kapil, but also for all of us.”
A 20-year-old, who was engrossed in playing the PUBG Mobile game, died when he mistakenly consumed a jewelry-polishing chemical instead of water while traveling on a train. According to the Agra Cantonment Government Railway Police (GRP), the deceased, identified as Saurabh Yadav, was traveling with his friend Santosh Sharma who is an ornament-dealer. Sharma had a chemical in his bag which he used to polish jewelry. The two men had a common bag and Santosh was traveling to Agra in connection with his ornament polishing business, said Vijay Singh, in-charge GRP station, Agra Cantt railway station, in a public statement. “According to Santosh, the deceased was busy playing PUBG on his mobile phone while traveling. Reportedly, he was so occupied that instead of taking out the water bottle, he mistakenly took out the bottle of chemical and drank from it without checking,” Singh said.
He added that the liquid consumed by Yadav is used in cleaning and polishing ornaments. Police added that Yadav’s health quickly became worse and he finally collapsed near Morena (between Agra and Gwalior). He was dead by the time the train reached the railway station. “The post-mortem report is awaited to get better clarity in the matter,” Singh said.
मुंबई: मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील महाविकास आघाडीच्या सरकारची आज मंत्रिमंडळ बैठक आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. या बैठकीत समृद्धी महामार्गासह इतर काही योजनांबाबत महत्त्वपूर्ण निर्णय घेण्यात आले आहेत.
मागील सरकारच्या काळात समृद्धी महामार्गाचा मुद्दा चांगलाच चर्चेत होता. माजी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांचा हा ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट म्हणूनही ओळखला जात होता. याच समृद्धी महामार्गाला अतिरिक्त 3500 कोटी रुपये निधी भागभांडवल म्हणून देण्याचा निर्णय उद्धव ठाकरे यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील महाविकास आघाडी सरकारने घेतला आहे.
मंत्रिमंडळ बैठकीतील महत्त्वाचे निर्णय
– राज्यातील दुय्यम न्यायालयातील 1 नोव्हेंबर 2005 रोजी किंवा नंतर नियुक्त झालेल्या न्यायिक अधिकाऱ्यांना जुनी निवृत्ती वेतन योजना लागू करण्यास मान्यता.
– महाराष्ट्र आकस्मिकता निधीच्या मर्यादेत वाढ करून 5 हजार 350 कोटी रुपये इतका निधी उपलब्ध करून देण्यास मान्यता.
– महाराष्ट्र समृद्धी महामार्ग प्रकल्पासाठी करण्यात आलेल्या विविध वित्तीय करारांना मुद्रांक शुल्क माफी.
– गौण खनिजाचे अवैध उत्खनन व वाहतुकीस प्रभावीपणे आळा घालण्यासाठी जिल्हाधिकारी यांनी प्राधिकृत केलेल्या कोणत्याही महसुली अधिकाऱ्यास आता अधिकार. अध्यादेशाचे अधिनियमात रुपांतर करण्यास मान्यता.
दरम्यान, महाविकास आघाडीचा शपथविधी होऊन आज 14 दिवस झाले तरीही कॅबिनेट मंत्र्यांची अवस्था बिनखात्याचे मंत्री अशी आहे. मंत्रालयात आज दुपारी कॅबिनेट बैठक झाली. मात्र सर्व खाती अजूनही स्वतः उद्धव ठाकरे हाताळत आहेत. याबाबत काँग्रेस आणि राष्ट्रवादीच्या मंत्र्यांमध्ये नाराजीचा सूरही उमटू लागला आहे.
कॅबिनेट खात्यांचे वाटप काल रात्री उशिरा जाहीर केले जाणार होते. मात्र ते केले गेलेच नाही. काँग्रेस आणि शिवसेना यांच्यात खातेवाटपाबाबत तोडगा निघाला असून राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस आणि शिवसेना यांच्यात खातेवाटपातील गाडी पुढे जात नसल्याचं म्हटलं जात आहे. किमान आज तरी कॅबिनेट खात्याच्या मंत्र्यांना कॅबिनेट बैठकीपर्यंत खातेवाटप जाहीर होणार का, याकडे सर्वांचं लक्ष लागलं होतं. मात्र खातेवाटपाबाबत अद्याप कोणताही निर्णय घेण्यात आलेला नाही.

मुंबई: मुंबई – नागपूर समृद्धी महामार्गाला शिवसेनाप्रमुख दिवंगत बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांचं नाव देण्याचा निर्णय राज्य मंत्रिमंडळाच्या बैठकीत आज घेण्यात आला. हा मार्ग ‘शिवसेनाप्रमुख बाळासाहेब ठाकरे समृद्धी महामार्ग’ म्हणून ओळखला जाईल, अशी माहिती राज्याचे मंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांनी दिली.
मुंबई – नागपूर समृद्धी महामार्गाला माजी पंतप्रधान अटलबिहारी वाजपेयी यांचे नाव देण्याचा भाजपचा विचार होता. मात्र, शिवसेनेनं बाळासाहेबांच्या नावासाठी आग्रह धरला होता. तसं पत्रच तत्कालीन सार्वजनिक बांधकाम मंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांनी मुख्यमंत्र्यांना दिलं होतं. त्यावेळी भाजप व शिवसेनेची युती असल्यानं तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्यापुढं पेच निर्माण झाला होता. मात्र, युती तुटून शिवसेनेच्या नेतृत्वाखालील आघाडी सरकार आल्यानंतर अखेर याबाबत निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.
तुलनेने मागास असलेल्या विदर्भ-मराठवाड्याच्या अर्थकारणाला गती देणारा प्रकल्प म्हणून या महामार्गाकडे पाहिले जाते. भूसंपादनाच्या वादामुळं सुरुवातीला शिवसेनेनं या प्रकल्पाला विरोध केला होता. मात्र, त्यानंतर शिवसेनेनं विरोधाची भूमिका बदलली होती.
‘मुंबई – पुणे या देशातील पहिल्यावहिल्या द्रुतगती महामार्गाची मुहूर्तमेढ बाळासाहेबांनी रोवली होती. मुंबई-पुणे प्रवास दोन तासांवर आणण्याचे बाळासाहेबांनी पाहिलेले स्वप्न सन १९९५मध्ये राज्यात युतीची सत्ता आल्यानंतर पूर्ण झाले. यात तत्कालीन सार्वजनिक बांधकाम मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांचा सिंहाचा वाटा होता. देशातील पहिल्या द्रुतगती महामार्गाचे शिल्पकार असलेले बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांच्या दूरदृष्टीचा यथोचित सन्मान व्हावा अशी शिवसेनेच्या खासदार-आमदारांची भावना होती. आजच्या निर्णयामुळं त्या भावनेचा सन्मान झाला आहे, असं एकनाथ शिंदे यांनी सांगितलं. हा महामार्ग लवकरच पूर्ण होईल, असंही ते म्हणाले.
मुंबई : एकिकडे महिला सुरक्षिततेचा मुद्दा ऐरणीवर असतानाच कलाविश्वातून या विषयाला तितक्याच संवेदनशीलपणे हाताळण्यात येत आहे. महिलांवर होणारे अत्याचार, हल्ले, ऍसिड हल्ले हे विदारक चित्र अनेक प्रयत्न करुनही मिटवता येत नाही आहे. प्रशासन, सर्वसामान्य जनता यांच्यासोबकतच मानसिकताही कुठेतरी या साऱ्याला आळा घालण्यात अपयशी ठरत आहे. याच असंख्य प्रश्नांचा आधार घेत आणि एका सत्य घटनेवर प्रकाश टाकत बॉलिवूडमध्ये एक चित्रपट साकारण्यात आला आहे.
मेघना गुलजार दिग्दर्शित या चित्रपटाचं नाव आहे ‘छपाक’ Chhapaak. अभिनेत्री दीपिका पदुकोण Deepika Padukone आणि अभिनेता Vikrant Massey विक्रांत मेसीच्या मुख्य भूमिका असणाऱ्या या चित्रपटाचा ट्रेलर नुकताच प्रदर्शित करण्यात आला आहे.
ऍसिड हल्ल्यातील पीडिता लक्ष्मी अग्रवाल यांच्या जीवनातील काही प्रसंगांवर ‘छपाक’ Chhapaak मधून प्रकाशझोत टाकण्यात आला आहे. ज्यामध्ये अभिनेता विक्रांत मेसी लक्ष्मी यांचे साथीदार आलोक दीक्षित यांच्या भूमिकेत दिसत आहे. चित्रपटाच्या ट्रेलरमधील अनेक दृश्यं ही काळजात चर्रsss करणारी आहेत. अवघ्या दोन मिनिचं आणि १९ सेकंदांचा हा ट्रेलर ऍसिड हल्ल्यातील पीडितांच्या वेदना, त्यांचा संघर्ष आणि समाजाकडून त्यांना वास्तवात मिळणारी वागणूक अशी प्रत्येक झलक समोर ठेवत आहे. त्यामुळे या चित्रपटाविषयी आतापासूनच उत्सुकता निर्माण झाली आहे. १० जानेवारी २०२० रोजी हा चित्रपट प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येणार आहे.
मुंबईत पार पडलेल्या एका कार्यक्रमात चित्रपटाचा ट्रेलर प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला आणण्यात आहे. मानवी हक्क दिवसाचं औचित्य साधत आपल्यासोबत गेल्या काही वर्षांपासून वावरणारी ही कथा आज प्रेक्षकांपुढे सादर करण्याचा आनंद दिग्दर्शिका मेघना गुलजार यांनी व्यक्त केला. शिवाय यावेळी ‘मालती’ ही व्यक्तीरेखा साकारत आपल्या झगमगाटाच्या विश्वाला दूर सारत एका वास्तववादी दुनियेचा स्वीकार केल्याबद्दल त्यांनी दीपिकाचेही आभार मानले. भावनिक आणि आर्थिकदृष्ट्या हा चित्रपट साकारणं हे अतिशय आव्हानात्मक होतं हेसुद्धा मेघना गुलजार यांनी स्पष्ट केलं.
Nagpur: A 65-year-old woman was allegedly killed and her body burnt with paddy straw by a man in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district, police said on Tuesday.
The accused, Rajesh Sontakke (22), apparently wanted to take revenge for the humiliation he was subjected to by the woman’s son, Weltur police station’s assistant inspector Anand Kaviraj said.
The incident took place on December 3 when Lilabai Suryabhan Wasnik, a resident of Kalamna area in Nagpur city, went to stock paddy straw at her farm in Dongarmouda village under Kuhi tehsil, located around 40 km from Nagpur.
A day before that, on December 2, Rajesh Sontakke’s cattle strayed into Lilabai Suryabhan Wasnik’s farm which led to a fight between her son and the accused. Lilabai Suryabhan Wasnik’s son had then slapped the accused, which angered him, the official said.
When Wasnik visited her farm on December 3, the accused, on finding her alone there, allegedly hit her on the head with a rod, killing her on the spot, he said.
He then kept the body on the paddy husk lying on the farm and set it afire, the official said.
When the woman did not return home, her family members launched a search for her.
On December 8, when her daughters went to the farm, they found a skull along with some burnt bones, he said.
They immediately informed the police, who rushed to the spot and sent the charred remains to a forensic lab for a DNA test, he said.
In the meantime, the police also received a tip-off, based on which they arrested Sontakke late Monday night.
“During interrogation, he confessed to having committed the crime,” the official said.
“After Sontakke’s cattle strayed into the farm of Lilabai, her son had a quarrel with the accused and slapped him on December 2. Angry over the humiliation faced by him, Sontakke was looking for Lilabai’s son to take revenge,” he said.
However, when Sontakke spotted Wasnik alone at her farm the next day, he allegedly killed her, the official said.
A case has been filed against the accused under the Indian Penal Code Sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing the disappearance of evidence of offense), he added.
नागपुर: महाराष्ट्र के नागपुर जिले में बीते एक महीने में 14 साल की एक लड़की से कई बार रेप करने के आरोप में दो भाइयों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है. पुलिस के एक अधिकारी ने मंगलवार को बताया कि आकाश संजय कारेमोर (27) पिछले महीने लड़की को शादी का झांसा देकर गंगापुर टकलघाट गांव ले गया था, जहां उसने लड़की का रेप किया.
एमआईडीसी बूटीबोरी पुलिस थाने के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि बाद में आरोपी का भाई शुभम संजय कारेमोर (21) भी गांव पहुंच गया. जहां उसने भी कथित तौर पर नाबालिग से रेप किया. पुलिस अधिकारी ने बताया कि दोनों आरोपियों ने लड़की को गांव में अपने मामा के घर यह कहकर रखा कि लड़की अनाथ है.
लड़की के परिजनों की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने उसकी तलाश शुरू की. लड़की उन्हें गंगापुर टकलघाट गांव में मिली. पुलिस के मुताबिक लड़की के माता-पिता में तलाक हो चुका है. उसकी मां तेंभरी गांव में रहकर मजदूरी करती है. आरोपियों के खिलाफ भारतीय दंड संहिता और पोक्सो अधिनियम की संबद्ध धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है.

Cotton Trailblazers brings together key players to deliberate on the challenges facing the organic cotton sector and to look for solutions through collaborative efforts that create value for all – from farmers to consumers.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms Anita Chester, Head of Sustainable Raw Materials, C&A Foundation, said “ India continues to dominate the organic cotton production across the globe, and it has been estimated that India’s total organic fibre production will continue to grow over the next few years. This highlights the enormous potential India has in demonstrating organic transformation and effectively work together towards creating a sustainable fashion industry.”
The stakeholders unanimously agreed that organic cotton is positioned to ‘take off’ in Maharashtra. The state was a pioneer in the organic transformation; yet today, only 11 percent of India’s total organic cotton supply comes from Maharashtra. A revival in the state can benefit the farmers by reducing cultivation costs in the input phase and lead to a decrease the overall debt, as well as stimulate the soil’s natural balance.
“I have observed that the traditional practices that had been very common in the past, stopped with the introduction of BT cotton. This led to a digression to chemical farming. With the organic cotton initiative in our state, practices such as making organic compost, are emerging again and have proven to be very helpful for us as they are chemical-free and do not require any extra expenditure” says, Roopraj Wamanro Milmile, a farmer from Yavatmal.
C&A Foundation and Solidaridad Asia have already incubated various local solutions that have been a catalyst for the adoption of organic practices in the state, with an aim to reach 15,000 farmers. The organic cotton program was also complemented with additional efforts by Solidaridad Asia on addressing the water stress challenges in the region by promoting micro-irrigation and rainwater management solutions covering 30,000 farmers. Dr. Shatadru Chattopadhyay, Managing Director, Solidaridad Asia said, “We, along with our partners are creating a prosperous cotton sector by using sustainable production methods that have contributed to improved water use efficiency, worker health and safety and much-reduced water pollution levels.”
After setting the context for the day’s discussions on making a business case for organic cotton, the speakers deliberated on how local handloom enterprises can engage directly with farmers of their own state and pay them a premium price for cotton in-transition towards organic. The dialogue focused on farmers and big brands, and the business models that have the potential to scale up, along with the challenges and benefits of such business alliances. Participants shed light on policy enablers that would help strengthen the organic cotton sector. A need for traceability in the organic supply chain and importance of sustainability in the fashion industry was emphasised.
“The transformation has already begun, civil society organisations are ready to act, and farmers have taken the first steps on the route back to organic farming. Massive untapped sustainable potential is still awaiting realisation, so let’s all get started and embrace the revival of organic cotton in Maharashtra,” added Ms Chester.

India, 2019 – Kia Motors Corporation has officially opened its new Indian production facility in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. Following a USD 1.1 billion investment by Kia, the new Kia Motors India (KMI) manufacturing plant is now fully operational.
The grand opening ceremony takes place just two years after construction began in the fourth quarter of 2017. The KMI plant is the production home for Kia’s first ‘made in India’ product, the Seltos compact SUV, with other models to follow in the future.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and His Excellency, Mr. Bongkil Shin, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India. The ceremony was led by Mr. Han-Woo Park, President, and CEO of Kia Motors Corporation, Mr. Kookhyun Shim, Managing Director and CEO of Kia Motors India, and key leaders from Kia Motors India.
“We are proud to open our new production facility in Anantapur today,” said Mr. Han-Woo Park. “Now fully in operation, our new plant allows us to serve the growing Indian car market, and export models like the Seltos to markets across the world in major regions. In the longer-term, it will also become a vital part of our global production network.”
New KMI facility creates jobs and boosts global production capacity
The Anantapur production facility is capable of producing up to around 300,000 units each year, boosting Kia’s total global manufacturing volume as it entered the world’s fourth-largest new car market. The plant occupies around 23 million square feet (2.16 km2 / 536 acres) and incorporates facilities for stamping, welding, painting, and assembly. In addition to petrol and diesel variants of the Seltos, production of future electric and hybrid vehicles was put into consideration when designing the KMI plant production lines.
The plant is equipped with more than 450 robots, helping to automate the press, body and paint shops, as well as the assembly line. Additionally, the area around KMI is home to numerous supplier companies’ facilities. Kia’s presence in Anantapur has helped create over 12,000 new direct and indirect jobs across the region.
The facility also aligns with Kia’s global focus on quality, with a control center ensuring the highest manufacturing standards. The final stage of the plant’s production process was an advanced quality assessment and evaluation, carried out in tandem with suppliers to enable all parties to benefit from findings. Kia’s quality control measures ensure continuous improvements in product quality, bolstering the brand’s hard-won reputation for reliability.
Made in India: sales success for the new Kia Seltos
The first model manufactured by KMI is the new Seltos compact SUV. The Seltos, launched in India in August, was met with strong sales. A total of 40,649 units have been sold as of November 2019.
“Orders for the new ‘made in India’ Seltos started just over three months ago, and high excitement and demand for the car has already made Kia the fourth biggest car manufacturers in India by volume,” said Mr. Kookhyun Shim. “Seltos with its unique design elements and specifications localized for the Indian market has made the model an overnight success.”
Kia plans new models, digital sales and connected tech for the Indian market
Kia’s plans for the Indian new car market include the production of additional models at KMI and an expanded product portfolio. Kia will commence the production of its premium MPV model at KMI in early 2020. The brand also plans to introduce a new sub-compact SUV model to the market later that year, strengthening its Utility Vehicle brand image in India.
“We have a robust plan for India, and the launch of new models and technologies will help us maintain the positive momentum that we have enjoyed to-date,” added Mr. Kookhyun Shim. “We are excited to see how new models will be received in the Indian market in the future.”
In order to give customers a unique brand interaction experience, the brand has already introduced a bold new digital sales strategy for all models sold in India along with an online sales channel, enabling every phase of car purchase online, reducing buying time. The Draft of New RE Policy is the biggest injustice for the RE Users and RE Business entities and entire RE Industry, it is a forceful imposition of undue and unwanted clauses in the said Net Billing Policy and against the right of use of Renewable Energy Sources.
Presently in the state of Maharashtra, for Renewable Energy “Net Metering Policy” is in force and a big number of RE users are enjoying the benefits of RE Generation by installing RE Systems at their Rooftops/places. The MERC had introduced this policy sue-motto in the year 2015 to boost the Renewable Energy Generation in the state.
But now, the Maha-Discom submitted a petition to the MERC that instead of “Net Metering Policy” MERC should introduce the “Net Billing policy” and considering the petition of Maha-Discom, the MERC has proposed new regulation and Draft of the same is introduced on the internet. MERC has called for objections/suggestions on the said Draft of the new RE Policy.
Some objectionable points in the proposed new unconventional energy policy
According to the current policy, 100% return of Renewable Energy generated through the Net Metering System to domestic consumers.
According to the new proposed policy, only up to 300 units will be refunded as per the Net Metering System. The remaining usage will have to be paid at the prescribed rate.
E.g. If the monthly electricity consumption is 600 units, of which 500 units of electricity is generated per month by installing solar power installed on the Rooftop, then under the Net Metering System will have to subtract 500 units and pay only for 100 units in excess. The Bill Amount will be generally ₹ 400 / –
According to the new policy, due to the Net Billing System, 300 units will be deducted as per Net Metering Policy and the remaining 300 units will have to pay the usual rate of. 2100 /- as per New Proposed RE Policy.
That is, the current and new policies will have to be paid exactly ₹ 1700 / -.
Also, if the electricity consumption is less than the generated electricity, the remaining power units are recorded in the deposit account. Which can be used in later times
According to the new policy, if the consumption is less than the generated electricity, the remaining electricity will be paid to the customer at the prescribed rate, if purchased by the distribution company at a rate of ₹ 3.50 / unit.
According to the current policy, the power that the consumer is subjected to in any category can generate Renewable energy according to the Net Metering System.
Under the new proposed policy, the Net Metering System will not be applicable for any other category of power consumers other than the domestic consumers.
Such customers will apply the Net Billing System and in this method, the power distribution company will buy power generated from the Renewable Energy source at a rate of ₹ 3.50 / unit and the customer will have to pay the balance due by deducting such purchase from payment of electricity consumption at the prescribed rate.
For example, if a commercial customer generates 500 units of electricity from Renewable energy source equipment and gives it to the distribution company, his monthly power consumption is 500 units. He has to pay a balance of 3250 / – by subtracting ₹ 1750 from it which is purchased by a Distribution company.
RE workers from the entire state of Maharashtra have sent objections/suggestions to MERC. Hon. Union Minister, Ex Energy Minister of the State, MLAs, many other public leaders, distinguished thinkers, Engineers, persons in the society, a big number of Industrial/Social/Educational Associations have also sent their objections/suggestions to the MERC. There are about 40,000 such objections/suggestions received by the MERC.
If the proposed New RE Policy is introduced, according to the new proposal, i.e. Net Billing policy, the generation of energy generated from Renewable Energy sources will be hampered. General Citizens of the state, as well as business / industrial consumers who want to generate energy for their own use through Renewable Energy sources, will be highly de-motivated, it is also against the basic right of energy generation, and thousands of businessmen who are dealing with Renewable Energy Source equipment and millions of people who depend on such professionals will suddenly become unemployed.
Since we have now decided to adopt a democratic approach to oppose this proposed new Renewable Energy policy, from December 7th, 2019, Myself along with Mr. Amit Deotale, Director Green Life Solutions Pvt. नागपूर : कळमेश्वरमधील पाचवर्षीय चिमुकलीवर अत्याचार करून तिचा खून करण्यात आल्याच्या घटनेने संतापाची लाट उसळली असतानाच या घटनेतील नवनवे पैलू आता उघड होत आहेत. नराधम संजय पुरी हा गेल्या दोन महिन्यांपासून मुलीवर ‘वॉच’ ठेऊन होता, अशी धक्कादायक माहिती हाती आली आहे. पोलिसांच्या अटकेत असलेल्या संजयला सोमवारी न्यायालयात हजर करण्यात आले. न्यायालयाने त्याची १३ डिसेंबरपर्यंत पोलिस कोठडीत रवानगी केली.
विश्वसनीय सूत्रांकडून मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, गेल्या दोन महिन्यांपासून संजय हा मुलीच्या घराभोवती घिरट्या घालत होता. ती केव्हा-केव्हा कुठे-कुठे जाते, याची माहिती त्याने घेतली. आजोबाकडे जाताना ती एकटीच जात असल्याचेही त्याला कळले. त्यानंतर त्याने मुलीशी संपर्क वाढवायला सुरुवात केली. तो मुलीला कधी चॉकलेट तर कधी तुरीच्या शेंगा द्यायला लागला. त्यामुळे संजयची मुलीसोबत चांगली ओळख झाली. शुक्रवारी मुलगी शाळेतून घरी आली. आजोबाकडे जात असल्याचे सांगून ती घरून निघाली. सायंकाळी ५ वाजताच्या सुमारास ती आजोबाकडून परत घरी जात होती. शेतात संजयने तिला गाठले. तो दारू पिऊन होता. तुरीच्या शेंगा देण्याच्या बहाण्याने संजय हा तिला शेतात घेऊन गेला. तोंडात कापड कोंबून तिच्यावर अत्याचार केला. मुलगी आपले नाव सांगेल, अशा भीतीने संजयने दगडाने डोके ठेचून मुलीची हत्या केली. शेतातीलच झुडपात तिचा मृतदेह लपवून ठेवला. त्यानंतर तो घरी गेला. पुन्हा दारू प्यायली. रक्ताने माखलेले कपडे घरी लपवून तो शेजाऱ्याकडे गेला व रात्री परत घरी आला. जेवण करून झोपी गेला.
दरम्यान, मुलगी बेपत्ता झाल्याने नातेवाइकांनी तिचा शोध सुरू केला. कळमेश्वर पोलिसांत तक्रार दिली. पोलिसांनी अपहरणाचा गुन्हा दाखल करून मुलीचा शोध सुरू केला. रविवारी सकाळी ११ वाजताच्या सुमारास मुलीचा मृतदेह आढळून आला. या घटनेने नागरिकांमध्ये प्रचंड रोष निर्माण झाला. कळमेश्वरमध्ये तणाव निर्माण झाला. पोलिसांनी अत्याचार, खून, अॅट्रॉसिटीसह विविध कलमान्वये गुन्हा दाखल करून संजयला अटक केली. या अत्याचार व हत्याकांडाचा खटला हा जलदगती न्यायालयात चालविला जाणार आहे. त्यादृष्टीने कळमेश्वर पोलिसांनी तपासाला वेग दिला आहे. लवकरात लवकर प्रकरणाची चौकशी पूर्ण करण्यासाठी पोलिस प्रयत्नशील आहेत.

मुलीची हत्या केल्यानंतर तिचा मृतदेह कुठे लपवावा, असा विचार संजय करीत होता. शुक्रवारी रात्री मुलीला खड्ड्यात गाडण्याचा विचार त्याच्या मनात आला. सकाळी उठून मुलीला गाडण्याचा निर्णयही त्याने घेतला. मात्र, शनिवारी शेतावर गेल्याने त्याचा हा कट फसला. त्यामुळे शनिवारी रात्री त्याने मुलीचा मृतदेह गंजीत जाळण्याचाही विचार केला. परंतु, यात तो यशस्वी होऊ शकला नाही. रविवारी घटना उघडकीस येताच संजय घाबरला. तो कळमेश्वरमधून फरार होण्याची तयारी करायला लागला. घटना उघडकीस आल्यानंतर सर्वप्रथम संजयवरच पोलिसांचा संशय गेला. वेळीच पोलिसांनी अटक केल्याने संजय याचा हाही ‘प्लान’ फसला.
कळमेश्वर-ब्राह्मणी बंद
पाचवर्षीय मुलीवर अत्याचार करून तिची हत्या केल्याच्या निषेधार्थ सोमवारी कळमेश्वर-ब्राह्मणी बंदचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. या बंदला नागरिकांनी उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद दिला. त्यामुळे कळमेश्वरमधील बाजारपेठेत सोमवारी शुकशुकाट होता. शाळा व महाविद्यालयांनाही सुटी देण्यात आली होती. हत्याकांडातील आरोपीला फाशीची शिक्षा देण्यात यावी, मुलीच्या कुटुंबीयांना आर्थिक मदत देण्यात यावी, या मागणीसाठी शेकडो नागरिकांनी सोमवारी पुन्हा कळमेश्वर पोलिस स्टेशनला घेराव घालून घोषणा दिल्या.
कळमेश्वरला छावणीचे स्वरुप
सोमवारी कळमेश्वर बंदचे आवाहन करण्यात आल्यानंतर कोणतीही अनुचित घटना घडू नये, यासाठी पोलिसांचा कडेकोट बंदोबस्त तैनात करण्यात आला. कळमेश्वरला छावणीचे स्वरूप आले असून, पोलिस अधीक्षक राकेश ओला यांच्यासह सर्वच वरिष्ठ अधिकारी तेथे तळ ठोकून आहेत. सावनेर, खापा, केळवद पोलिसांसह राखीव पोलिस दलाची तुकडीही कळमेश्वरमध्ये तैनात करण्यात आली आहे.

मुंबई: देशातील सर्वात मोठी सरकारी बँक असलेल्या SBI स्टेट बँक ऑफ इंडियाने सोमवारी सर्व प्रकारच्या कर्जांसाठी मार्जिनल कॉस्ट बेस्ड लेंडिंग रेट कमी केला आहे. 10 बेसिस पॉइंट कमी केली आहे. नवे दर मंगळवारपासून लागू होणार आहेत. यानंतर कार आणि इतर एमसीएलआर लिंक्ड कर्जे स्वस्त होतील.
सध्याच्या चालू आर्थिक वर्षात एसबीआयने एमसीएलआरने सलग 8 व्यांदा कपात केली आहे. SBI ने त्यांच्या वक्तव्यात सांगितलं की, फंडात कमी झालेल्या खर्चाचा फायदा ग्राहकांना देण्यासाठी आम्ही एमसीएलआरमध्ये 0.10 टक्के कपात करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.
आता SBI मध्ये एमसीएलआर वार्षिक 7.90 टक्के इतका होईल. जो आतापर्यंत 8 टक्के आहे. SBI ने सांगितलं की गृहकर्ज आणि वाहन कर्जाच्या मार्केट शेअरमधील 25 टक्के भागावर त्यांची पकड आहे. रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने गेल्याच आठवड्यात रेपो रेट कायम ठेवल्याचं सांगितलं होतं.
एमसीएलआरमध्ये कपात केल्याने व्याजदर कमी होतात. मात्र यामुळे सर्व कर्ज घेणाऱ्यांचे कर्ज कमी होणार नाही. नव्याने कर्ज घेणाऱ्यांना याचा फायदा होणार आहे. तर जुनी कर्जे असलेल्यांना थोडावेळ वाट पहावी लागेल.
नागपूर: शहराला विद्रुप करणाऱ्यांवर कारवाई सुरूच असून, रविवारी रस्त्यांवर थुंकणाऱ्यासह उघड्यावर लघवी करणारेही अलगद अडकले. घरानजीकच्या परिसरात कचरा फेकणारेही मोठ्या प्रमाणात पथकाच्या हातात लागले. एकूण ३७ उपद्रवींवर पथकाने कारवाई करीत त्यांच्याकडून ५८०० रुपयांचा दंड ‘ऑन द स्पॉट’ वसूल केला. गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून होत असलेल्या या कारवाईमुळे शहर अस्वच्छ करणाऱ्यांमध्ये चांगलीच धडकी भरली आहे.
संविधान चौक, सीताबर्डी नागपूर येथे कारवाईनंतर शनिवारला मोठी कारवाई उपद्रव शोध पथकाने हाती घेतली होती. यात मोरभवन, गांधीपुतळा आणि धरमपेठ, मंगळवारी झोन कार्यालयात उपद्रव शोध पथकाने पाळत ठेवली. त्यावेळी ही कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे.
धरमपेठ झोनच्या उपद्रव शोध पथकाकडून मोरभवन परिसरातील उपद्रवींवर कारवाई करण्यात आली. मोरभवन परिसरात थुंकणाऱ्या ४ व परिसरात कचरा टाकणाऱ्या १३ अशा एकूण १७ जणांवर कारवाई करून २१०० रुपये दंड वसूल करण्यात आले. मंगळवारी झोनच्या पथकाकडून गांधीपुतळा चौकात थुंकणाऱ्या ७, उघड्यावर लघवी करणारा १, परिसर अस्वच्छ करणारा १ आणि परिसरात कचरा टाकणाऱ्या ४ अशा एकूण १३ उपद्रवींवर कारवाई करीत २७०० रुपये दंड वसूल करण्यात आले. याशिवाय उपद्रव शोध पथकाकडून सिव्हिल लाइन्स येथील मनपा मुख्यालय परिसरातही कारवाई करण्यात आली.
मनपा मुख्यालय परिसरातील थुंकणाऱ्या ३ व परिसरात कचरा टाकणाऱ्या ४ अशा एकूण ७ जणांकडून १ हजार रुपयांचा दंड वसूल करण्यात आला. तिन्ही कारवायांमध्ये थुंकणाऱ्या एकूण १४, उघड्यावर लघवी करणारा १, परिसर अस्वच्छ करणारा १, परिसरात कचरा टाकणाऱ्या एकूण २१ अशा तिन्ही ठिकाणच्या एकूण ३७ उपद्रवींवर एकाच दिवशी कारवाई करण्यात आली. स्वच्छ भारतचे नोडल अधिकारी डॉ. प्रदीप दासरवार, उपद्रव शोध पथक प्रमुख वीरसेन तांबे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात धरमपेठ व मंगळवारी झोन पथकाकडून तीन वेगवेगळ्या ठिकाणी कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे.
नागपूर : नागपूर जिल्ह्यातील कळमेश्वर तालुक्यातील लिंगा येथे एका सहा वर्षीय मुलीचा मृतदेह दगडाने ठेचलेल्या अवस्थेत रविवारी आढळून आला. हैदराबाद येथील महिलेवर अत्याचार करून तिचा खून झाल्याच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर देशभर संताप व्यक्त हाेत असताना नागपूर मध्ये ही घटना घडल्याने नागरिकांमध्ये राेष व्यक्त केला जात आहे. पोलिसांनी या मुलीचा मृतदेह शवविच्छेदनासाठी नागपूर येथील मेडिकल कॉलेजला पाठवला आहे. त्याचा अहवाल आल्यानंतरच मुलीवर अत्याचार झाला की नाही हे सांगता येईल, अशी माहिती ग्रामीणचे जिल्हा पोलिस अधीक्षक राकेश आला यांनी दिली.
नीलम शांताराम धुर्वे (६) असे मृत चिमुकलीचे नाव होते. या प्रकरणी पोलिसांनी एका संशयिताला ताब्यात घेतले आहे. लिंगा या गावापासून जवळ पीडित मुलीच्या आजीचे घर आहे. मुलगी नेहमी आपल्या आजीकडे जायची. शुक्रवारी नेहमीप्रमाणे मुलगी सकाळी घरून निघाली. ती आजीकडे गेली असेल असे समजून घरच्यांनी शोध घेतला नाही.
आजीकडे गेल्याची शंका
मुलीचे वडील शांताराम यांनी सांगितले की, ‘नीलम शुक्रवारपासून बेपत्ता होती. ती आजीकडे गेली असावी, असा आमचा समज होता. मात्र, शनिवारी ती आजीकडेही नसल्याचे लक्षात आल्यावर आम्ही पोलिसांकडे तक्रार दिली. काल मी स्वतः पोलिसांसोबत मुलीचा शोध घेत होतो.’ दरम्यान, शनिवारी सकाळी सात वाजेच्या सुमारास गावाजवळील पाेलिसांना शेतात या मुलीचा मृतदेह आढळून आला. या घटनेची माहिती वाऱ्यासारखी पसरताच ग्रामस्थांत संतापाची लाट उसळली. पोलिसांनी घटनास्थळी पोहोचून मुलीचा मृतदेह ताब्यात घेतला व मेडिकलमध्ये शवविच्छेदनासाठी पाठवला. या घटनेमुळे गावात संतापाची लाट आहे. कोणतीही अनुचित घटना घडू नये म्हणून पोलिस लक्ष ठेवून आहेत.तसेच या भागात पाेलिस बंदाेबस्तही वाढवण्यात आला हाेता.
पोलिस ठाण्यावर मोर्चा; सीआयडी चाैकशीची मागणी
माझ्या मुलीला मारणाऱ्या आरोपीला अतिशय कठोर शिक्षा व्हावी, अशी मागणी मृत मुलीचे वडील शांताराम यांनी केली. कळमेश्वर परिसरात या घटनेचे संतप्त पडसाद उमटले आहेत. कळमेश्वर व आसपासच्या गावातील लोकांनी रविवारी सायंकाळी कळमेश्वर पोलिस ठाण्यावर मोर्चा नेऊन हैदराबाद येथील घटनेप्रमाणे आरोपीचे एन्काउंटर करण्यात यावे, अशी मागणी केली आहे. तसेच या घटनेचा सीआयडी तपास करण्यात यावा, अशीही काही नागरिकांनी मागणी केली आहे.
