CBSE to compile the results of Class XII students as per a well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner
THE Government on Tuesday decided to cancel the CBSE Class XII board exams amid the continuing COVID-19 pandemic across the country with Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserting that the decision has been taken in the interest of students and the anxiety among the students, parents and teachers must be put to an end. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Modi in which it was decided that the CBSE will take steps to compile the results of Class XII students as per a well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner. With the decision coming amid a high caseload of COVID-19 cases in several States and continuing health-related apprehensions about the future, Modi said the health and safety of students are of utmost importance, and there would be no compromise on this aspect. Anxiety among students, parents and teachers must be put to an end, and students should not be forced to appear for exams in such a stressful situation, a Government statement quoted the Prime Minister as saying.
Modi further asserted that all stakeholders need to show sensitivity for the students as well as their parents and teachers. In the review meeting, officials gave a detailed presentation on the wide and extensive consultation held so far and views received from all stakeholders, including by the State Governments. “In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID-19 and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that Class XII Board Exams would not be held this year,” the statement said.
Modi said at the meeting that COVID-19 has affected the academic calendar and the issue of board examinations has been causing immense anxiety among students, parents and teachers, which must be put to an end. He said the COVID-19 situation is dynamic across the country, and that the number of cases is coming down with some States managing the situation through effective micro-containment, while some States have still opted for a lockdown. Students, parents and teachers are naturally worried about the health of the students in such a situation, he noted, asserting that students should not be forced to appear for exams in such a stressful situation.

नवी दिल्ली, 02 जून: ईपीएफओने (EPFO) त्यांचा सहा कोटींहून अधिक खातेधारकांना कोरोनाच्या दुसऱ्या लाटेच्या पार्श्वभूमिवर पुन्हा एकदा अॅडव्हान्स रक्कम काढण्याची संधी उपलब्ध केली आहे. याआधी मार्च 2020 मध्ये केंद्र सरकारने पंतप्रधान गरीब कल्याण योजनेअंतर्गत (PMGKY) विशेष तरतूद केली. त्याअंतर्गत ईपीएफ सदस्य भविष्य निर्वाह निधीच्या 75 टक्के किंवा तीन महिन्यांचे मूलभूत वेतन आणि महागाई भत्ता काढून घेऊ शकतात. तुम्ही देखील याकरता अर्ज करू शकता. ईपीएफ खातेधारक यापेक्षा कमी रकमेसाठी देखील अर्ज करू शकतात. EPFO ने केलेल्या या बदलानुसार तुम्हाला ही अॅडव्हान्सची रक्कम केवळ तीन दिवसात मिळेल.
तुम्ही पीएफ खात्यातून जी रक्कम काढाल ती नॉन रिफंडेबल असेल. अर्थात जी आगाऊ रक्कम तुम्ही काढणार आहात ती परत करण्याची आवश्यकता नाही. तुम्ही जेवढी रक्कम काढाल ती रक्कम तुमच्या पीएफ खात्यातील बॅलन्समधून वजा केली जाईल. कामगार आणि रोजगार मंत्रालयाने प्रोव्हिडंट फंड स्कीम 1952 मध्ये सुधारणा करण्यात आली होती.
दुसऱ्यांदा काढता येतील पैसे
कामगार मंत्रालयाने त्यांच्या निवेदनात असं म्हटलं आहे की, ‘कोविड -19 पँडेमिकच्या दुसऱ्या लाटेदरम्यान ग्राहकांना आधार देण्यासाठी ईपीएफओने आता आपल्या सदस्यांना नॉन-रिफंडेबल कोविड -19 आगाऊ रक्कम (COVID-19 advance) घेण्याची परवानगी दिली आहे’. ज्या सदस्यांनी गेल्यावर्षी कोविड -19 Advance लाभ घेतला आहे ते देखील आता दुसऱ्यांदा यासाठी अर्ज करू शकतात.
केवळ तीन दिवसात मिळतील पैसे
या बदलानंतर खातेधारकांना केवळ तीन दिवसात त्यांनी क्लेम केलेली रक्कम मिळणार आहे. EPFO च्या ऑनलाइन व्यवस्थेअंतर्गत पैसे काढण्याची प्रक्रिया केवळ तीन दिवसात पूर्ण केली जाईल.
आतापर्यंत EPFO ने 76.31 लाख कोव्हिड अॅडव्हान्स दावे पूर्ण केले
ईपीएफओने 76.31 लाखाहून अधिक कोव्हिड-19 अॅडव्हान्सचे दावे निकाली काढले आहेत. ज्यायोगे आजपर्यंत एकूण 18,698.15 कोटी रुपये देण्यात आले आहेत. ईपीएफ खातेधारकांसाठी COVID-19 advance एक चांगली आर्थिक मदत आहे, विशेषत: ज्यांचा पगार दरमहा 15000 किंवा त्यापेक्षा कमी आहे.

मुंबई, 02 जून: प्रसिद्ध बॉलिवूड अभिनेता सुशांत सिंह राजपूत याच्या मृत्यूला (Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case) याच महिन्यात वर्ष पूर्ण होत आहे. 14 जून रोजी त्याचा मृतदेह त्याच्याच राहत्या घरात आढळला होता. या घटनेनंतर विविध तपास संस्थांनी या प्रकरणाच्या मुळाशी जाण्यासाठी असंख्य अँगलनी या केसचा तपास केला. दरम्यान सुशांतच्या मृत्यूनंतर काही महिन्यातच यामध्ये ड्रग कनेक्शन समोर आलं होतं. नार्कोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्युरोकडून (Narcotics Control Bureau) अद्याप त्याप्रकरणी तपास सुरू आहे. याबाबतीतच एक महत्त्वाची अपडेट मुंबईतून समोर येते आहे. मुंबईतील काही भागात एनसीबीने (NCB raid in Mumbai) पुन्हा एकदा छापेमारी केली आहे.

सीबीआय आणि एनसीबी या प्रकरणाचा तपास करत आहे. पण, बराच तपास केल्यानंतरही हाती काहीच लागले नाही. अचानक त्याचा मित्र सिद्धार्थ पिठानी (Siddharth Pithani Arrested) याला हैदराबादमधून अटक करण्यात आली, त्यामुळे या प्रकरणाची दिशाच बदली आहे. आधी मुंबई पोलिसांनी या घटनेचा तपास केला. त्यानंतर राजकीय धुरळा उडाल्यानंतर हा तपास सीबीआयकडे सोपवण्यात आला. सीबीआयने मुंबईत येऊन नव्याने तपास सुरू केला. आता वर्षभरानंतर सुशांतचा रूममेट सिद्धार्थाला अटक केली आहे.
एका सोशल मीडिया अकाऊंटवर पोस्ट केल्यामुळे सिद्धार्थ एनसीबीच्या रडारवर आला होता. सुशांतच्या निधनानंतर त्याने आपले इंस्टाग्राम अकाउंट डिलीट करून टाकले होते. आता अलीकडेच त्याने नवीन अकाऊंट सुरू केले आहे.

Couple Found Dead In Kapil Nagar Under Mysterious Circumstances
A 30-year-old man was found dead in the water tank of a society in Narhe area of Pune on Monday.
The man was identified as Vitthal Ankush Vaykule, a resident of Parthavi Society in Narhe. He was found in the water tank of the same building by his flat mate. He lived in a bachelor accommodation with one other man who also works in the same pharma company.
“He was a field worker and worked as a therapy manager at the pharma company. He has left no note. At night he had gone out and since he did not come back, his friends started looking for him. In the night they could not find him but in the morning, they found him in the water tank. Drowning was found to be the reason for his death. Further investigations are on,” said assistant police inspector S Kanse of Sinhagad road police station.
पुणे: आईस्क्रीम आणण्यासाठी दुकानात गेलेल्या एका १९ वर्षीय तरूणीचा ६१ वर्षीय जेष्ठ दुकान मालकानेच विनयभंग केल्याची धक्कादायक घटना २८ मे ला रात्री दहाच्या सुमारास कर्वे रस्त्यावरील कबीर सुपर मार्केटमध्ये घडली आहे. त्यानंतर तरूणीने आत्महत्या करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे.
याप्रकरणी गौतमदास रामदास वैष्णव (वय ६१) असे गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आलेल्या दुकानमालकाचे नाव आहे. याप्रकरणी पीडित तरूणीचे आईने वारजे माळवाडी पोलीस ठाण्यात तक्रार दिली आहे.
पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, तीन दिवसांपुर्वी तरूणी कर्वे रस्त्यावरील कबीर सुपर मार्केटमध्ये आईस्क्रीम आणण्यासाठी गेली होती. त्यावेळी दुकानमालक गौतमदासने तरूणीला आईस्क्रीम देण्याच्या बहाण्याने जवळ ओढून तिचा विनयभंग केला. त्यामुळे तरूणीने आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न केल्याची घटना उघडकीस आली आहे. याप्रकरणी पीडित तरूणीच्या आईने वारजे माळवाडी पोलिस ठाण्यात तक्रार दाखल केली आहे.
Almost 10,000 children and teenagers tested positive for Covid-19 in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar district in May, of which over 96 to 97% remained asymptomatic.
However, Sachin Solat, a member of Ahmednagar’s Covid task force, said there was nothing alarming in the high number of children and teenagers testing positive. “The number was around 11.5% of the total Covid cases registered in the month in the district, which is acceptable. There is nothing unusual about it,” he was quoted as saying by Times of India.
Solat said these children and teenagers got infected from elders in their family. “We must remember that there are hundreds of joint families staying together in one home, where the infection can spread easily,” he said.
Maharashtra on Monday reported 15,077 new COVID-19 cases, the lowest since March 15, taking the caseload to 57,46,892, while 184 more deaths pushed the toll to 95,344, the state health department said. On March 15, the state had reported 15,051 cases as it hurtled towards a devastating second COVID-19 wave. The daily count was also a sharp drop from 18,600 infections registered on Sunday. Recoveries far exceeded new infections.
As many as 33,000 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day, pushing the number of recovered cases to 53,95,370, a statement from the health department said. The state now has 2,53,367 active cases, it said. The COVID-19 recovery rate is 93.88 per cent, while the fatality rate is 1.66 per cent, the department said. The statement said 1,93,446 more people were tested for coronavirus in Maharashtra, taking the number of samples examined so far to 3,50,55,054.
Nagpur: The journey from a Gentleman Cadet to a Lieutenant in Indian Army is the most memorable for a person who dreamt to lead on the front line for his country. Lt Pratik Barde, who became an Indian Army Officer on his very first attempt, also felt the same. Hailing from Nagpur, Pratik was inducted in the infantry of Jammu and Kashmir Rifles (JaK Rifles) after graduating in the 111th SSC course at Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, recently. “My first step to becoming the leader that I aspire to be a wonderful experience. It is a rock and roll ride but in the end it is all worth it,” said Pratik to The Hitavada. Pratik was among the 200 Gentleman Cadets (GC) and Lady Cadets (LC) who passed out this year from OTA. Pratik who is an Aeronautical Engineering graduate from Priyadarshani College of Engineering, is now eagerly waiting for his first posting.
“I never thought that such would be the transformation in me; training has made me not only confront my fears but also to overcome them. The training made me confident, given me great experiences and friends for a lifetime. It is a great feeling to know you have a buddy who is there for you and you can count on him,” said Pratik. The Lieutenant shared some experiences about his buddy who is from Kerala and also how they together completed difficult tasks including the 50 km run which they had to finish in a single day.
Pratik completed his Class 10 from Narayana Vidyalaya and Class 12 from Dinanath High School and Junior College. His father Makrand S Barde is a CTI in Central Railway and mother Sushma Barde is a teacher in Somalwar High School, Ma Umiya branch. “A GC must be physically and mentally fit and tough to cross the ‘Antim Pag’ during the passing out parade. In this one year course your ‘Drill Ustad’ will teach the every possible discipline that require in a officer,” said Pratik.
IMPLEMENTATION of a five-point programme and inculcating a sense of responsibility among people was the mainstay of various measures undertaken by Ruturaj Deshmukh, the youngest Sarpanch in Maharashtra, and his task force to rid their village in Solapur district of coronavirus. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in his virtual address to the people on Sunday had lauded Deshmukh’s contribution and appealed to all Sarpanchs in the State to draw inspiration in the battle against the pandemic while announcing “My Village Corona Free” initiative. The Ghatne village of which Deshmukh (21) is the Sarpanch has a population of 1,500.
The village had not reported any COVID-19 cases from March 2020 to April 2021. “But in the first week of April, we had two COVID-19 cases but both the patients died. This triggered panic and many people started leaving their homes to live in their farms,” he recalled on Monday. At this stage, Deshmukh said, he decided to involve all stakeholders and create awareness about fighting coronavirus. “My mantra was to be positive in outlook with confidence that we can keep our village free of coronavirus,” Deshmukh told PTI over the phone. Talking about the efforts, the Sarpanch said, he and his team framed a five-point programme involving tracing, testing, treatment, vaccination and adherence to COVID-appropriate behaviour. “Moreover, ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers were roped in who visited every house in the village to check the blood oxygen level and body temperature of its occupants,” he said.
The villagers whose blood oxygen level is found to be below 92 are shifted to either isolation centres or to COVID Care Centres in Mohol taluka, which is 4 km away from the village, he said. Simultaneously, “corona safety kits” comprising a face mask, hand sanitizer, disinfectant, and vitamin tablets, were supplied to the people. A steam machine was kept at the Gram Panchayat office which can be used by anybody in need, he added. Deshmukh said, residents who have to travel outside for work are randomly tested while outsiders coming to village are quarantined for three days and made to undergo a Rapid antigen test.
हरियाणाच्या पानीपत शहरात शिक्षक-विद्यार्थ्याच्या नात्याला काळीमा फासणारी घटना घडली आहे. एका खासगी शाळेतील शिक्षिकेने १७ वर्षीय विद्यार्थ्याला प्रेमाच्या जाळ्यात अडकवून त्याला घेऊनच फरार झाली आहे. पानीपतच्या देशराज कॉलनीतील एका खासगी शाळेत ती शिक्षिका शिकवायला होती. शिक्षिका घटस्फोटीत महिला असून ती माहेरीच राहायला होती.
विद्यार्थ्याच्या वडिलांनी जिल्हा पोलीस ठाण्यात याबाबत तक्रार नोंदवली आहे. या तक्रारीत म्हटलंय की, दरदिवशी प्रमाणे माझा मुलगा २९ मे रोजी दुपारी २ वाजता महिला शिक्षिकच्या घरी ट्यूशनसाठी गेला होता. त्यानंतर तो घरी परतलाच नाही. शिक्षिकेच्या घरच्यांनी सुरुवातीला यावर काही तास उलटल्यानंतरही काहीच केले नव्हते. त्यानंतर शिक्षिकेच्या वडिलांनी मुलगी गायब झाल्याची तक्रार नोंदवली.
शिक्षिकेच्या घरी शिकण्यासाठी गेला होता विद्यार्थी
पोलिसांनी या प्रकरणात गुन्हा नोंद केला असून सध्या शिक्षिका आणि विद्यार्थ्याचा शोध सुरू आहे. परंतु अद्याप दोघांचाही पत्ता लागला नाही. गायब झाल्यापासून दोघांनीही त्यांचे मोबाईल बंद ठेवले आहेत. पोलिसांना दिलेल्या तक्रारीत मुलाच्या वडिलांनी सांगितलं आहे की तो ११ वीच्या वर्गात होता. तर संशयित आरोपी महिला क्लास टीचर आहे.
अल्पवयीन विद्यार्थी गेल्या २ वर्षापासून शिक्षिकेच्या घरी शिक्षण घेण्यासाठी जात होता. लॉकडाऊनमध्ये शाळा बंद असल्याने विद्यार्थी दिवसातून ४-५ तास शिक्षिकेच्या घरी ट्यूशनसाठी थांबत होता. त्यानंतर २९ मे रोजी दोघंही अचानक गायब झाले. आश्चर्य म्हणजे दोघंही घरातून काहीच सामान घेऊन गेले नाहीत. केवळ शिक्षिकेच्या हातात सोन्याची अंगठी आहे.
मुंबई : पत्नीच्या संशयास्पद मृत्यूप्रकरणी मुंबईत प्रसिद्ध यूट्यूबरला बेड्या ठोकण्यात आल्या आहेत. पत्नी कोमल अगरवाल हिची हत्या पती जितेंद्रने केल्याचा आरोप कोमलच्या माहेरच्या मंडळींनी केला आहे. त्यानंतर भांडुप पोलिसांनी आरोपी पती जितेंद्र अगरवाल उर्फ जितू जान (Jeetu Jaan) याला अटक केली.
पत्नी राहत्या घरी मृतावस्थेत कोमल अगरवाल हिचा मृतदेह राहत्या घरी पंख्याला लटकलेल्या अवस्थेत सापडला होता. रुग्णालयात दाखल करण्यापूर्वीच तिला मृत घोषित करण्यात आले होते. पोलिसांनी आधी या प्रकरणी अपघाती मृत्यूची नोंद केली होती. मात्र कोमलची आई आणि बहीण यांच्या तक्रारीनंतर कलम 304 (सदोष मनुष्यवध), 306 (आत्महत्येस प्रवृत्त करणे) 323 आणि 506 अंतर्गत पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल केला.
तीन महिन्यांपूर्वीच लग्न मयत कोमल अगरवाल आणि आरोपी जितेंद्र अगरवाल उर्फ जितू जान (Jeetu Jaan) यांची अवघ्या काही महिन्यांपूर्वीच ओळख झाली होती. त्यानंतर 4 मार्चला दोघं घरातून पळून गेले. कोमलच्या कुटुंबीयांच्या मर्जीविरोधात त्यांनी लग्न केलं. मात्र जितेंद्र पत्नीला दररोज मारहाण करायचा, असा आरोप कोमलच्या आईने केला आहे. कोमलने बहीण प्रियाकडे याबाबत वाच्यता केल्याचं समजल्यावर जितेंद्रने तिला बहिणीशी फोनवर बोलण्यास मनाई केली, असाही दावा केला जात आहे. कोमल एकदा घर सोडूनही निघून गेल्याचं बोललं जातं.
कोमलच्या कुटुंबीयांचा आरोप जितेंद्र जर तिला वारंवार शारीरिक त्रास देत होता, तर त्याने तिची हत्या केल्याची शक्यता नाकारता येत नाही, असं कोमलच्या बहिणीचं म्हणणं आहे. पोलिसांनी माहिती दिल्यानंतर कोमलच्या कुटुंबीयांना तिच्या मृत्यूबद्दल समजलं होतं. त्यांनी तात्काळ तिचा मृत्यू संशयास्पद असल्याचं बोलून दाखवलं होतं.
दरम्यान, आरोपी जितेंद्र अगरवालला अटक करण्यात आली असून पोलीस अधिक तपास करत आहेत. ऑटोप्सी रिपोर्टनंतरच कोमलने स्वतः गळफास घेतला, की तिची हत्या करण्यात आली, हे स्पष्ट होणार आहे.

The rare sight will happen when the Sun, Moon and the Earth align together to form a vibrant coloured ring around the Moon as it covers the Sun. The annular solar eclipse will last for over an hour.
What is a ring of fire?
During a solar eclipse, the Moon casts a shadow on the Earth creating a visual phenomenon as it moves between the Earth and the Sun, blocking sunlight. As the Moon covers the centre of the Sun, the edges emit a glowing halo creating an illuminated ‘ring of fire’. The June 10 solar eclipse will be visible to stargazers in several countries.
During this solar eclipse, the moon will fail to completely cover the Sun as the distance between the Earth and the Moon is always changing due to the latter’s elliptical, oval orbit. This is also the reason why we witness a supermoon and why sometimes the Moon appears smaller or larger than usual.
There are three types of solar eclipses — total, partial and annular. An annular eclipse happens when the Moon is farthest from Earth. Because the Moon is farther away, it seems smaller. It does not block the Sun entirely. According to Nasa, during a solar eclipse, the Moon casts two shadows on Earth. The phenomenon happens every 18 months somewhere on Earth and unlike lunar eclipses, solar eclipses last only a few minutes.
Where to watch Ring of Fire?
The June 10 ring of fire or the annular solar eclipse will be visible from parts of Greenland, North-Eastern Canada, the North Pole and some parts of Russia. Meanwhile, Europe, North America, Asia, Arctic and Atlantic regions will witness a partial solar eclipse.
India will not be able to witness the rare cosmic phenomenon.
According to reports, the eclipse will begin in Canada, northern Ontario and on the north side of Lake Superior. The ring of fire will be visible in Canada for about three minutes, while in Greenland it will occur when the solar eclipse reaches its peak following which it will be seen in Siberia and the North Pole. While the US will miss out on the ring of fire, people on the East Coast and in the Upper Midwest will get a chance to see a partial solar eclipse just after sunrise.
Clearance has been issued to the First Batch of Sputnik V vaccine manufactured in India. The clearance came from Central Drugs Laboratory(CDL), Kasauli.
Hetero Drugs is one of the companies manufacturing Sputnik V in India. It is a Hyderabad-based Pharma company. Six companies in India are manufacturing Sputnik V.
The Indian envoy to Russia had earlier said in May that of the total Sputnik V vaccines in the world, 65-70% would be India-made.
Indian envoy to Russia, Ambassador DB Venkatesh Varma announced in a media briefing in Russia that India will be producing 850 million doses of the Sputnik V vaccine.
The envoy interacted with journalists in St Petersburg on the Sputnik V vaccine, S-400 missiles, and also the prevailing Covid situation in India.
The envoy had also said that Russia has already supplied 1,50,000 doses plus 60,000 doses to India.
The envoy further elaborated, “Sputnik will be produced in India in three phases. First, supply from Russia – fully made – which has already started. Second, RDIF will send to India in bulk. It will be ready for use but it will have to be filled in various bottles in India.”
Speaking on the Sputnik Light single-shot vaccine, Varma said, “The Russian side has also proposed Sputnik Light. The regulatory approvals for that in India are still not completed. But once those regulatory approvals are given, Sputnik Light will be one more area of cooperation between India and Russia.”
Nagpur:Maharashtra government extended the lockdown till June 15 for corporations of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, Aurangabad, Nashik, Vasai Virar, Nagpur – all civic bodies with more than one million population.
In the urban areas that are considered as separate administrative units and where the total positivity rate is less than 10 per cent and total oxygen beds occupancy is less than 40 per cent, essential shops in Nagpur will be allowed to operate from 7 am to 2 pm instead of 7 am to 11 am.
The Nagpur civic body has decide on all non-essential shops which are standalone and not inside a mall up to 2 pm, but they will be closed on weekends.
In Nagpur, new rules have been implemented by the administration from June 1.
All essential service shops will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Non-essential stand alone shops will be open Monday through Friday from 7 to 2 p.m.
The mall will be closed.
Fertilizer, seed etc. shops will be open from 7 am to 2 am all seven days.
Food, Alcohol – E-Commerce and Essentials. Home delivery of all items of service will continue until 11 p.m.
Freight will continue.
Morning walk, outdoor sports will be closed.
All government offices will be open with 25 per cent attendance.
All private offices will be closed.
It will be forbidden to walk on the road after 3 pm without good reason.

करदात्यांसाठी नवीन वेब पोर्टल सुरू करणार
आयकर विभाग पुढील महिन्यात करदात्यांसाठी नवीन वेब पोर्टल सुरू करणार आहे. नवीन पोर्टल सुरू झाल्यानंतर करदात्यांना आयकर विवरणपत्र भरण्याची प्रक्रिया सोपी आणि सुलभ होईल. 1 ते 6 जूनदरम्यान विद्यमान वेब पोर्टल सहा दिवस बंद असेल. यानंतर 7 जून रोजी नवीन ई-फायलिंग पोर्टल सुरू होईल. कर विभागाच्या प्रणाली विभागांकडून जारी केलेल्या आदेशात म्हटले आहे, ‘विद्यमान वेब पोर्टलवरून www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in नवीन वेब पोर्टल www.incometaxgov.in वर हस्तातरणाची प्रक्रिया1 जून रोजी पूर्ण होईल आणि या दिवशी नवीन वेब पोर्टल कार्यान्वित होईल.
बँक ऑफ बडोदाची नवी यंत्रणा
बँक ऑफ बडोदा आजपासून चेक पेमेंटचे नियम बदलणार आहे. बँकेच्या वतीने पॉझिटिव्ह पे कन्फर्मेशन नियम आजपासून लागू होणार आहे. फसवी चेक रक्कम लक्षात घेता पॉझिटिव्ह पे कन्फर्मेशन लागू केले जात आहे. ही यंत्रणा केवळ 50 हजार रुपयांच्या धनादेशाच्या वर लागू असेल. याचा फायदा घेण्यासाठी प्रथम बँकेकडून खातरजमा होणे आवश्यक आहे. ग्राहक बँकेला काही महत्त्वाची माहिती देईल, तरच ही सुविधा उपलब्ध होईल.
सिलिंडर किंमत
दरमहा एलपीजी सिलिंडरची किंमत बदलते. आजही यात बदल होण्याची शक्यता आहे. तेल कंपन्या एलपीजी सिलिंडरची किंमत बदलतात. त्यामुळे गॅस सिलिंडरच्या किमतीत फरक दिसू शकेल. आतापर्यंतच्या ट्रेंडप्रमाणेच सिलिंडर गॅस महाग होण्याची शक्यता आहे. सध्या दिल्ली आणि मुंबईत 14.2 किलोच्या एलपीजी सिलिंडरची किंमत ही 809 रुपये इतकी आहे.
सिंडिकेट बँकेचे आयएफएससी कोड बदलणार
कॅनरा बँकेत सिंडिकेट बँकेचे विलीनीकरण झाल्यानंतर सिंडिकेट बँकेच्या सर्व शाखांचे आयएफएससी कोडही बदलले आहेत. कॅनरा बँकेने दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, जुन्या बँकेच्या म्हणजेच सिंडिकेट बँकेच्या ग्राहकांचे जुने आयएफएससी कोड 1 जुलैपर्यंत वैध राहतील. त्यामुळे ग्राहकांनी 30 जूनपर्यंत IFSC कोड अपडेट करावे, अशी सूचना केली आहे. यानंतर नव्या आयएफएससी कोडद्वारे पैशांचा व्यवहार केला जाईल. जर आपल्याला कोणी पैसे पाठवणार असेल तर त्यांना आयएफएससी कोड बदलल्याचे आधीच कळवा, जो बँक तपशिलात बदलला जावा. अन्यथा पैसे हस्तांतरीत करणे कठीण होऊ शकते.
गुगलमध्ये मोठा बदल
आजपासून गुगलमध्ये एक मोठा बदल होणार आहे. आजपासून Google आपल्या फोटो अॅपसाठी अनलिमिटेड फोटोज अपलोड करण्याचा अॅक्सेस देणार नाही. गुगलने दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, प्रत्येक युजरला केवळ 15 जीबी स्टोरेज स्पेस देण्यात येईल, ज्यात जीमेलवरील ईमेलसह फोटो समाविष्ट आहेत. यात आपले फोटो, व्हिडिओ आणि गुगल ड्राइव्हवरील इतर फाईल्स देखील समाविष्ट असतील. हा 15GB स्पेस वापरल्यानंतर, आपल्याला अधिक स्पेस वापरण्यासाठी Google One चं सब्सक्रिप्शन खरेदी करावं लागेल. गूगल वनच्या मिनिमम सबस्क्रिप्शनच्या 100 जीबी स्टोरेज स्पेससाठी, युजरला दर महिन्याला 130 रुपये किंवा प्रतिवर्ष 1300 रुपये द्यावे लागतील.
पीएफ नियम
पहिल्यांदा पीएफबद्दल जाणून घेऊयात. कर्मचार्यांसाठी ही महत्त्वाची बातमी असू शकते. 1 जूनपासून पीएफच्या नियमांमध्ये काही बदल केले जात आहेत, ज्याचा थेट परिणाम कर्मचार्यांच्या जमा झालेल्या भांडवलावर होऊ शकतो. नव्या नियमानुसार, आता कंपनीला आपल्या कर्मचार्यांच्या खात्याला आधार कार्डशी लिंक करावे लागेल. हा नियम 1 जूनपासून लागू असेल. जर पीएफ खाते आधारशी जोडलेले नसेल तर कंपनीकडून पीएफमध्ये सामील होणारी रक्कम थांबू शकेल. याचा थेट परिणाम आपल्या जमा झालेल्या भांडवलावर होऊ शकतो. हे कार्य खूप सोपे आहे आणि पीएफच्या अधिकृत वेबसाईटवर जाऊन हे केले जाऊ शकते
विमानांच्या भाड्यावर परिणाम
सरकारच्या आदेशानुसार 1 जूनपासून हवाई प्रवास महागणार आहे. सरकारने कमीत कमी हवाई भाड्याची मर्यादा 16 टक्क्यांपर्यंत वाढवण्यास मान्यता दिलीय. ही वाढ 13 ते 16 टक्के असेल. याचा थेट परिणाम हवाई भाड्यावर दिसून येईल. महागड्या तिकिटांवर होणारा परिणाम कमी होईल, पण स्वस्त तिकिटे महाग होतील. हवाई भाड्यांची कमी मर्यादा वाढविण्याचा थेट परिणाम स्वस्त तिकिटावर दिसून येईल. आताच याचा परिणाम थोड्या लोकांवर दिसून येईल, कारण हवाई प्रवास थांबलेला आहे आणि त्यामध्ये प्रवाशांची संख्या नाममात्र आहे, जी सुरू आहे. आयपीएल 2021 (IPL 2021) चे उरलेले 31 सामने आता युएईमध्ये (UAE) होणार आहे. सप्टेंबर महिन्यामध्ये स्पर्धेला सुरुवात होईल, असा निर्णय शनिवारी झालेल्या बीसीसीआयच्या (BCCI) बैठकीत करण्यात आला, पण त्यानंतर आता बीसीसीआयला आणखी एक धक्का बसला आहे.
मुंबई, 31 मे : आयपीएल 2021 (IPL 2021) चे उरलेले 31 सामने आता युएईमध्ये (UAE) होणार आहे. सप्टेंबर महिन्यामध्ये स्पर्धेला सुरुवात होईल, असा निर्णय शनिवारी झालेल्या बीसीसीआयच्या (BCCI) बैठकीत करण्यात आला. 17 सप्टेंबर ते 18 ऑक्टोबर या कालावधीमध्ये आयपीएल खेळवली जाईल, अशी शक्यता आहे. खेळाडू आणि सपोर्ट स्टाफना कोरोनाची लागण झाल्यामुळे 4 मे रोजी आयपीएल स्थगित करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला होता, त्यावेळी आयपीएलचे 29 सामने झाले होते.
एकीकडे बीसीसीआयने आयपीएलचे उरलेले सामने आयोजित करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे, पण परदेशी बोर्डकडून मात्र त्यांना धक्का बसला आहे. उरलेल्या आयपीएलमध्ये इंग्लंडचे खेळाडू खेळणार नाहीत, असं इंग्लंड बोर्डाने (England Cricket Board) आधीच सांगितलं होतं, त्यानंतर आता बांगलादेश क्रिकेट बोर्डानेही (Bangladesh Cricket Board) आपले खेळाडू आयपीएल खेळणार नसल्याचं सांगितलं आहे.
‘शाकीब अल हसन आणि मुस्तफिजूर रहमान याला आता आयपीएल खेळण्यासाठी एनओसी मिळणार नाही, कारण आता पुढच्या मॅच आमच्यासाठी खूप महत्त्वाच्या आहेत,’ असं बांगलादेश क्रिकेट बोर्डाचे अध्यक्ष नजमूल हसन म्हणाले. शाकीब अल हसन (Shakib Al Hasan) आयपीएलमध्ये केकेआरकडून (KKR) खेळतो, तर मुस्तफिजूर (Mustafizur Rahaman) राजस्थानच्या टीममध्ये आहे. बांगलादेशच्या टीमचं पुढचं वेळापत्रक अतिशय व्यस्त आहे. ऑस्ट्रेलिया आणि इंग्लंड बांगलादेशच्या दौऱ्यावर येणार आहेत, यानंतर न्यूझीलंडची टीमही तिकडे जाणार आहे. हे वेळापत्रक आयपीएलसोबतच आहे.
इंग्लंड क्रिकेट बोर्डाचे डायरेक्टर ऍशले जाईल्स यांनी काहीच दिवसांपूर्वी इंग्लंडचे खेळाडू आयपीएलसाठी जाणार नाहीत, कारण टी-20 वर्ल्ड कप आणि ऍशेससाठी त्यांना फॉर्ममध्ये यायाचं आहे, असं जाईल्स यांनी सांगितलं.
विदेशी खेळाडूंच्या उपलब्धतेचा प्रश्न असला, तरी आयपीएलचं वेळापत्रक बदललं जाणार नाही, असं बीसीसीआयने स्पष्ट केलं आहे. परदेशी खेळाडू उपलब्ध व्हावेत, म्हणून बीसीसीआय वेगेवेगळ्या बोर्डांशी चर्चा करणार आहे.
आम्ही परदेशी खेळाडूंच्या मुद्द्यावर चर्चा केली आहे. आमचं पूर्ण लक्ष आयपीएलचा हा मोसम पूर्ण करणं आहे. स्पर्धा अर्ध्यातच सोडून देता येणार नाही, त्यामुळे जे खेळाडू उपलब्ध आहेत, त्यामध्येच स्पर्धा खेळवावी लागेल. परदेशी खेळाडू उपलब्ध झाले नाहीत, तरी काही फरक पडणार नाही. त्यांच्याशिवायही आयपीएलचं आयोजन करण्यात येईल, असं बीसीसीआयचे उपाध्यक्ष राजीव शुक्ला म्हणाले.
ऑस्ट्रेलियाची टीम बांगलादेशच्या दौऱ्यावर जाणार आहे. दोन्ही देशांमध्ये 5 टी-20 मॅचची सीरिज होऊ शकते. ऑक्टोबर-नोव्हेंबर महिन्यात होणाऱ्या टी-20 वर्ल्ड कपआधी ही सीरिज महत्त्वाची मानली जात आहे. त्याआधी ऑस्ट्रेलियाची टीम वेस्ट इंडिजचा दौराही करणार आहे. तसंच ऑस्ट्रेलिया आणि अफगाणिस्तान यांच्यात एक टेस्ट आणि त्यानंतर इंग्लंडविरुद्ध ऍशेस सीरिज होणार आहे, त्यामुळे ऑस्ट्रेलियन खेळाडू आयपीएलमध्ये खेळणार का नाही, याबाबत साशंकता आहे.
दुसरीकडे कॅरेबियन प्रिमीयर लीग 28 ऑगस्ट ते 19 सप्टेंबरमध्ये खेळवली जाईल, पण बीसीसीआय वेस्ट इंडिज क्रिकेट बोर्डाला सीपीएलचं 10 दिवस आधी आयोजन करण्याची विनंती करणार आहे, ज्यामुळे वेस्ट इंडिजचे खेळाडू आयपीएलमध्ये सहभागी होऊ शकतील. कायरन पोलार्ड (Kieron Pollard), क्रिस गेल (Chris Gayle), सुनिल नारायण (Sunil Narine), ड्वॅन ब्राव्हो (Dwyane Bravo) हे महत्त्वाचे खेळाडू आयपीएलमध्ये खेळतात. जर सीपीएल आधी खेळवण्यात आली नाही, तर हे खेळाडूही आयपीएलचे सुरुवातीचे सामने मुकतील.
आयपीएलचा यंदाचा मोसम खेळवला गेला नाही तर बोर्डाला 2,500 कोटी रुपयांचं नुकसान होईल, असं बीसीसीआय अध्यक्ष सौरव गांगुलीने (Sourav Ganguly) आधीच सांगितलं होतं. मागच्यावर्षी पासून कोरोना व्हायरसमुळे रणजी ट्रॉफीचा मोसमही झालेला नाही. तसंच बीसीसीआयला 700 खेळाडूंना 50 कोटी रुपये द्यायचे आहेत. आयपीएलचं आयोजन करण्यात आलं, तर या खेळाडूंना पैसे देण्यात बीसीसीआयला कोणतीच अडचण येणार नाही.

मुंबई, 01 जून : छोट्या पडद्यावर ‘ये रिश्ता क्या कहलाता है’ (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) फेम टीव्ही अभिनेता करण मेहराला (Karan mehara) अटक करण्यात आली आहे. आपल्या पत्नीला मारहाण केल्या प्रकरणी गोरेगाव पोलिसांनी सोमवारी रात्री करण मेहराला अटक केली आहे. या घटनेमुळे टीव्ही इंडस्ट्रीमध्ये खळबळ उडाली आहे.
गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून ये रिश्ता क्या कहलाता है’ फेम अभिनेता करण मेहरा आणि निशा रावल (Nisha Rawal)यांच्या नात्यात वाद निर्माण झाला होता. पण सोमवारी दोघांमध्ये वाद पुन्हा एकदा विकोपाला गेला. त्यामुळे करण आणि निशामध्ये कडाक्याचे भांडण झाले होते. या भांडणाचा राग डोक्यात धरून करणने निशाला मारहाण केल्याची माहिती समोर आली.निशा रावलने करणच्या विरोधात गोरेगाव पोलिसांत तक्रार दाखल केली होती. तिच्या तक्रारीवरून पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल केला होता. त्यानंतर करणला सोमवारी रात्रीच अटक करण्यात आली, असं वृत्त एबीपी माझा वृत्तवाहिनीने दिलं. करणला आज न्यायालयात हजर केले जाणार आहे. या प्रकरणाचा अधिक तपास पोलीस करत आहे.

तसंच शिवमनं या प्रकरणी मुंबई पोलिसांकडे कायदेशीररित्या तक्रार देखील दाखल केली आहे. पोलीस लवकरच या प्रकरणी कारवाई करतील अशी अपेक्षा त्याला आहे.
लसीकरणाच्या (Corona Vaccination) मुद्द्यावरुन सर्वोच्च न्यायालयानं (Supreme Court)पुन्हा एकदा केंद्र सरकारला फटकरालं आहे. केंद्रानं संपूर्ण परिस्थितीचा आढावा घेत देशभरात कोरोना लसीची किंमत सारखीच ठेवण्याचा सल्लाही न्यायालयानं दिला आहे.
नवी दिल्ली 01 जून : लसीकरणाच्या (Corona Vaccination) मुद्द्यावरुन सर्वोच्च न्यायालयानं (Supreme Court) पुन्हा एकदा केंद्र सरकारला फटकरालं आहे. लसीकरणासाठी कोविन अॅपवर रजिस्ट्रेशन (Online Registration for Vaccination), लशीच्या वेगवेगळ्या किमती या मुद्द्यांवरुन न्यायालयानं सरकारला सवाल केले आहेत. तसंच तुम्हाला प्रत्येक परिस्थितीची खोलात माहिती पाहिजे, असंही सर्वोच्च न्यायालयानं म्हटलं आहे. केंद्रानं संपूर्ण परिस्थितीचा आढावा घेत देशभरात कोरोना लसीची किंमत सारखीच ठेवण्याचा सल्लाही न्यायालयानं दिला आहे.
न्यायालयानं म्हटलं, की महामारीचा बदलतं स्वरुप पाहाता केंद्रानं त्यानुसार योग्य त्या उपाययोजना करणं आणि निर्णय घेणं गरजेचं आगे. तुम्ही केवळ असं म्हणू शकत नाही, की तुम्ही केंद्र आहात आणि तुम्हाला सगळं माहिती आहे. आमच्याकडेही याप्रकरणी कठोर निर्णय घेण्याचे अधिकार आहेत. सुनावणीच्या शेवटी न्यायालयानं केंद्राचं आणि परराष्ट्रमंत्र्यांचं कौतुक करत म्हटलं, की आमचा उद्देश कोणाचाही अपमान करणं किंवा कमीपणा दाखवणं नाही. परराष्ट्रमंत्री अमेरिकेत गेले आणि याविषयी चर्चा केली हे परिस्थितीचं त्यांना असलेलं गांभीर्य दर्शवतं.
केंद्राचे सॉलिसीटर जनरल तुषार मेहता यावेळी बोलताना म्हणाले, की कोरोना महामारीचा सामना करण्यासाठी पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी विविध देशांच्या प्रमुखांसोबत चर्चा करत आहेत. न्यायालयानं म्हटलं, की या सुनावणीचा उद्देश केवळ बातचीत करणं आणि इतरांचंही म्हणणं ऐकणं हा आहे. आम्ही असं काहीही म्हणत नाही, ज्याचा देशाच्या कल्याणावर परिणाम होईल. मेहता यांनी यावेळी बोलताना लसीकरणाबाबतही माहिती दिली. ते म्हणाले, की 18 वर्षावरील सर्व नागरिकांना 2021 च्या शेवटापर्यंत लस दिली जाईल. मेहता म्हणाले, की फाइजरसारख्या कंपन्यांसोबत केंद्राची बातचीत सुरू आहे. हे यशस्वी झाल्यास लवकरात लवकर संपूर्ण लसीकरण करणं शक्य होईल, असंही ते यावेळी बोलताना म्हणाले.
Indian economy grew a 1.6 per cent in the January-December quarter, data released by the National Statistical Organisation (NSO) showed on Monday. India’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth has been severely affected by coronavirus pandemic during the fiscal ended in March. The economy contracted 7.3 per cent in the financial year 2020-21. It was better than what Reserve Bank of India and the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation had forecast earlier.
The gross value added (GVA) in the March quarter stood at 3.7 per cent. For FY21, GVA declined 6.2 per cent. Only two sectors bucked the trend of negative GVA growth — Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (which rose 3.6%) and Electricity, Gas, Water Supply and other Utility Services (up 1.9%). GVA from Trade, Hotels, Transport, Communication and Broadcasting-related services recorded the sharpest decline of 18.2%, followed by Construction (-8.6%), Mining and quarrying (-8.5%) and Manufacturing (-7.2%).
India’s GDP growth witnessed a massive contraction of 24.4 per cent in the first quarter amid COVID-19 pandemic-led nationwide lockdown during the first quarter of FY21. During the July-September quarter, the GDP decline narrowed to 7.5 per cent. However, the country exited the technical recession phase when GDP growth had improved to 0.4% in the October-December quarter of 2020-21.
“The Indian economy grew at a robust pace of 1.64% in March quarter, outpacing our expectations, and driven primarily by business investment and a surge in government spending. Consumption spending also gained traction this quarter, suggesting a possible improvement in confidence. Exports also did exceptionally well. Evidently, the economy was gaining momentum before the second wave hit us,” said Rumki Majumdar, economist, Deloitte India.
The fiscal deficit reported at 9.3 per cent of GDP in 2020-21, down from revised estimate of 9.5 per cent, according to the official data.
“Indian economy is showing signs of resilience which will enable the growth trajectory to return to double digits by the third quarter. Govt will do its part in providing a enabling environment to support this recovery and add momentum to massively boost the capex cycle. Downside risks can be mitigated by targeted measures to support the MSME and core employment creating sector including real estate, retail and hospitality,” said Suraj Malik, partner, BDO India LLP.
“With a majority of the States imposing strict lockdowns in April and May, we expect the economic harm of the second wave to remain contained to the April-June quarter. This is because the current infection wave seems to have peaked and any subsequent waves may have a diminishing impact on the economy, as is seen elsewhere,” the economist from Deloitte India added.
On India’s growth in FY 22, she mentioned, “Economic activity will pick up rapidly in the second half of the FY. Factors such as falling infections, a potential increase in the pace of vaccination, and the oncoming festivals in the following months will likely boost consumer and investment spending owing to strong pent-up demand.”
कर्नाटकातील मंगळुरूमधून चोरीची एक हैराण करणारी घटना समोर आली आहे. इथे एका चोराच्या पोटातून ३५ ग्रॅम सोनं काढण्यात आलं आहे. चोराने पोलिसांपासून वाचवण्यासाठी सोन्याचे दागिने आयस्क्रीमसोबत गिळंकृत केले होते. पण तो जास्त वेळ रे लपवून ठेवू शकला नाही.
पोलीस सूत्रांनुसार, शनिवारी सकाळी चोराच्या पोटात जोरात दुखू लागलं होतं. ज्यानंतर त्याला हॉस्पिटलमध्ये दाखल करण्यात आलं. पोटात का दुखतंय याचं कारण जाणून घेण्यासाठी तिथे त्याचा एक्स-रे काढण्यात आला आणि रिपोर्टमधून समोर आलं की, चोराच्या आतड्यांमध्ये दागिने आहेत.
रविवारी डॉक्टरांनी चोराचं ऑपरेशन केलं आणि ज्यानंतर त्याच्या पोटातून अंगठी आणि कानातले दागिने काढण्यात आले. चोराच्या पोटातून काढण्यात आलेल्या दागिन्यांचं वजन ३५ ग्रॅम इतकं आहे. या दागिन्यांची बाजारातील किंमत १ लाख ७० हजार ८०० रूपये इतकी आहे.
दागिन्यांची चोरी करणाऱ्या चोराचं नाव शीबू आहे. चौकशी दरम्यान त्याने पोलिसांना सांगितलं होतं की, सोनं लपवण्यासाठी त्याने ते दागिने आयस्क्रीमसोबत गिळंकृत केले होते.
हॉस्पिटलमधून ऑपरेशननंतर चोराला न्यायालयीन कोठडीत पाठवण्यात आलं आङे. पोलीस अधिकाऱ्यांनी सांगितलं की, आरोपी विरोधात चोरीचा गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आाला असून पुढील कारवाई केली जात आहे.
नागपूर : अचानक ताप आला, नक्कीच कोरोना असेल घरच्यांना सर्वांनाच वाटले. यामुळे सुरूवातील कोरोनाची ‘रॅपीड अँटिजेन’ आणि नंतर ‘आरटीपीसीआर’ चाचणी केली. परंतु दोन्ही चाचण्या ‘निगेटिव्ह’ आल्या. डॉक्टरांनी ‘सिटी स्कॅन’ही केले. तेही सामान्य होते. अखेर डेंग्यूची चाचणी केली. ती पॉझिटिव्ह आली. या दरम्यान रक्तातील प्लेटलेट कमी होऊन १५ हजारापर्यंत आल्या. परंतु डॉक्टरांनी तातडीने उपचार सुरू केले. मी सुद्धा पॉझिटिव्ह विचार करीत औषधोपचाराला समोर गेल्याने सात दिवसांत बरा होऊन रुग्णालयातून घरी परतलो.
सध्या कुठलेही आजाराची लक्षणे कोरोनाची जोडून पाहिले जात असल्याने उपचारात उशीर होत असल्याचे चित्र आहे. परंतु डॉक्टरांचा अनुभव व तातडीने आजाराचे निदान व उपचारामुळे रुग्ण बरे होत आहेत. ह्यसुनीलह्णवर उपचार करणारे किंग्जवे हॉस्पिटलचे ‘क्रिटीकल केअर फिजीशियन’ डॉ. अब्जल शेख यांनी सांगितले, सुनील जेव्हा रुग्णालयात आला तेव्हा त्याला १०२ ते १०४ दरम्यान ताप होता. सलग तीन तिवस तो तापाने फणफणत होता. त्याच्या कोरोनाच आणि सिटी स्कॅनचा रिपोर्ट निगेटिव्ह होता. यामुळे डेंग्यूसह इतर आजाराची तपासणी केली. यात डेंग्यू पॉझिटिव्ह आला. उपचाराला सुरूवात झाली. परंतु त्याचा रक्तातील प्लेटलेट अडीच लाखाहून १५ हजारावर आले होते. स्थिती गंभीर झाली होती. परंतु अनुभवाच्या बळावर केलेला औषधोपचार व सुनीलने दिलेला प्रतिसाद यामुळे पाच दिवसांतच त्याचा प्लेटलेट वाढून ५० हजारांवर गेल्या. यामुळे सात दिवसात त्याला सुटी देण्यात आली.
डेंग्यूचा प्रादूर्भाव व तिसऱ्या लाटेचा अंदाजामुळे अधिक काळजी घेण्याचे आवाहन पुढील महिने पावसाचे आहेत. पाऊस म्हटले की, जागोजागी पाणी साचून डेंग्यूला कारणीभूत असलेले ‘एडीस’ डासाचा प्रादूर्भाव. विशेष म्हणजे, सुरूवातीच्या दिवसातही उखाडा राहत असल्यान लोकांचे कुलर सुरू असतात. परिणामी या डासांच्या उत्पत्तीला मदत होते. सध्या डेंग्यूवर स्पष्ट उपचार किंवा अँटीबायोटिक किंवा अँटीव्हायरल औषध नाही. यातच कोरोनाचा तिसºया लाटेचा अंदा वर्तविला जात असल्याने अधिक काळजी घेण्याचे आवाहनही डॉ. अब्जल शेख यांनी केले आहे.
नागपूर: आपली शेतजमीन प्रकल्पात गेली. त्याचा भरीव मोबदला आणि नोकरी मिळेल, अशी त्याला आशा होती. त्यासाठी २४ वर्षांपासून तो लढत आहे. सरकारी यंत्रणेशी लढताना त्याचा अस्थिभंग झाला अन् तो दिव्यांगही झाला. मात्र त्याला पाहिजे तो मोबदला मिळाला नाही आणि नोकरीही मिळाली नाही. बधीर प्रशासनाच्या कानांवर आपली हाक जात नसल्याचे पाहून त्याने मुंबईत फोन करून चक्क मंत्रालय उडवून देण्याची धमकी दिली. त्यामुळे अवघ्या राज्यात खळबळ उडाली. तिकडे मुंबईत गुन्हा दाखल झाला; तर इकडे उमरेड पोलीस ठाण्यात सागर काशीनाथ मांढरे या शेतकऱ्याची पोलिसांनी चौकशी चालविली आहे.
नागपूर जिल्ह्यातील उमरेडपासून १० किलोमीटर अंतरावर मकरधोकडा गाव आहे. सागर काशीनाथ मांढरे यांची मकरधोकडा शिवारात वडिलोपार्जित शेतजमीन होती. या जमिनीचा सौदा काशीनाथ मांढरे यांनी तीन वेगवेगळ्या लोकांसोबत केला. दरम्यान, येथे कोळसा खंदाणीसाठी शेतजमीन अधिग्रहित करण्याची प्रक्रिया सुरू झाली. ज्यांच्या नावावर शेतीचे विक्रीपत्र होते, त्यांना सरकारने मोबदला दिला आणि प्रकल्पग्रस्त म्हणून नोकरीही दिली. या प्रकल्पात आपल्या मालकीची २७ गुंठे शेतजमीन गेल्यामुळे आपल्यालाही मोबदला मिळावा आणि प्रकल्पग्रस्त म्हणून नोकरी मिळावी, अशी १२ वीपर्यंत शिकलेल्या सागरची अपेक्षा होती. मात्र त्याला ना नोकरी मिळाली, ना मोबदला. त्यामुळे ‘सागरचा जीव तळमळला.’ त्याने आपला कायदेशीर लढा सुरू केला.
२७ गुंठे शेतजमीन घेणाऱ्या शासन आणि वेकोलीने आपल्याला (आता आपल्या मुलाला) नोकरी द्यावी म्हणून त्याने भूमी अभिलेख कार्यालयाकडे दाद मागितली. जमीन मोजणीसाठी अर्जसुद्धा केला. त्यानंतर वेकोली तहसील कार्यालय, पोलीस ठाणे, जिल्हाधिकारी, विभागीय आयुक्त तसेच मंत्रालयापर्यंत अर्ज, तक्रारी केल्या. त्या दुर्लक्षित झाल्याची भावना झाल्यानंतर आत्महत्या करण्याचाही इशारा दिला. (यावरून पोलिसांनी यापूर्वी त्याच्यावर कारवाईसुद्धा केली.) मात्र त्याला दाद मिळाली नाही. न्याय्य मागणीसाठी सरकारी अधिकारी कार्यालयाचे उंबरठे आणि स्वतःचे तारुण्य झिजविणाऱ्या सागरला काहीही हाती लागले नाही. हो, त्याला सततची पायपीट आणि तणावामुळे अस्थिभंग होऊन दिव्यांगत्व आले. त्यामुळे तो प्रचंड वैफल्यग्रस्त झाला. याच वैफल्यग्रस्ततेतून त्याने रविवारी फोन करून थेट मंत्रालयच उडवून देण्याची धमकी दिली. त्याच्या या धमकीने राज्य प्रशासन चांगलेच हादरले आहे. खडबडून जागे झालेल्या सुरक्षा यंत्रणेने सागरविरुद्ध मुंबईत गुन्हा दाखल केला; तर इकडे उमरेडमध्ये त्याची चौकशी सुरू आहे.
अशी होती शेतजमीन काशीनाथ उपासराव मांढरे यांच्या नावाने एकत्रीकरण योजनेमध्ये गट नंबर ३२६/१, आराजी १.६२ हे. आर. आणि गट नंबर ३२७/३, आराजी १.२१ हे. आर. दर्ज होती. पुनर्मोजणी योजनेत दोन्ही गट नंबर मिळून नवीन भुमापन क्र. ५९६, आराजी २.६३ हे. आर. कायम करण्यात आली. यानंतर त्यांची शेती जितेंद्र गुंगाराम झाडे (०.८१ हे. आर.), राहुल परसराम येवले (०.९७ हे. आर.) आणि भारती हरिश्चंद्र झाडे यांना ०.८५ हे. आर. विक्री केली. आता या संपूर्ण जागेवर धुरे मोक्यावर अस्तित्वात नाही. केवळ मातीचे ढिगारे या ठिकाणी दिसून येत असल्याने मोजणी करणे अशक्य असल्याचा अहवाल भूमी अभिलेख कार्यालयाने दिल्याचे समजते.
देशात कोरोनाचा कहर पाहायला मिळत असताना अनेक धक्कादायक घटना समोर येत आहेत. अशीच एक भयंकर घटना पश्चिम बंगालच्या बर्दवानमध्ये घडली आहे. एका अल्पवयीन प्रियकराने गळफास घेत आत्महत्या केली आहे. या घटनेनंतर संतप्त झालेल्या लोकांनी प्रियकराच्या मृतदेहासोबतच प्रेयसीचं लग्न लावून दिल्याचा प्रकार समोर आला आहे. या संपूर्ण घटनेचा एक व्हिडिओ देखील व्हायरल झाला आहे. व्हिडीओ व्हायरल झाल्यानंतर पोलिसांनी याप्रकरणाचा तपास सुरू केला आहे.
मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, अल्पवयीन मुलगा आणि त्याची प्रेयसी यांचे धर्म वेगवेगळे होते. दोघांचेही नातेवाईक त्यांच्या लग्नासाठी तयार होते. मात्र, मुलगा अल्पवयीन असल्याने मुलीची आई या लग्नासाठी तयार नव्हती. याच कारणावरुन मुलगा आणि मुलीमध्ये वाद झाला आणि यातूनच मुलानं आत्महत्येसारखं टोकाचं पाऊल उचललं. आत्महत्या करण्याआधी या मुलाने आपल्या प्रेयसीला आपण आत्महत्या करत असल्याचं सांगिचलं होतं. यानंतर त्यानं व्हॉट्सअॅपवर प्रेयसीला आपला फोटो देखील पाठवला आणि आत्महत्या केली. घटनेची माहिती मिळताच पोलीस घटनास्थळी दाखल झाले.
पोलिसांनी मृतदेह शवविच्छेदनासाठी पाठवला आहे. शवविच्छेदनानंतर या मुलाचा मृतदेह गावात आणण्यात आला आणि पुन्हा एकदा वाद सुरू झाला. मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, स्थानिकांनी याप्रकरणी मुलगी आणि तिच्या आईला जबाबदार धरत दोघींना बेदम मारहाण केली. यानंतर दोघींलाही जबरदस्ती मुलाच्या मृतदेहाजवळ आणण्यात आलं. यानंतर मुलाच्या मृतदेहाकडून मुलीच्या भांगेत कुंकू भरण्यात आलं. शहरातील कांटापुकूर परिसरात हा मुलगा राहत होता. मृताच्या शेजाऱ्यांनी या मुलीला याची कल्पना होती, की मुलगा आत्महत्या करत आहे असं म्हटलं आहे.
मुलीकडे त्याच्या आईचा फोन नंबरही होता. मात्र, तरीही तिने याबाबत मुलाच्या कुटुंबीयांनी याबाबत माहिती दिली नाही. वेळेवर मुलाच्या घरच्यांना याबाबत माहिती दिल्यास त्याला वाचवता आलं असतं, असं त्यांनी म्हटलं आहे. पोलीस सध्या या प्रकरणाचा अधिक तपास करत आहेत. पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार मारहाण आणि अल्पवयीन मुलीसोबत छेडछाड केल्याची तक्रार मुलीच्या आईनंही पोलीस ठाण्यात दाखल केली आहे. आरोपींविरोधात कारवाई केली जाईल असं म्हटलं आहे. एका हिंदी वेबसाईटने याबाबतचे वृत्त दिले आहे.
कोरोनाची सद्यस्थिती आणि ग्रामीण भागातील वाढते आकडे पाहता, महाराष्ट्रातील लॉकडाऊन (Maharashtra Lockdown) 15 जूनपर्यंत वाढवण्यात आला आहे. काही नियम शिथील केले असले, तरी जिथे रुग्णसंख्या जास्त आहे, तिथे मात्र काही नियमांची काटेकोर अंमलबजावणी होणार असल्याचं मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे (CM Uddhav Thackeray) यांनी स्पष्ट केलं. मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी 30 मे रोजी राज्याला संबोधित केलं. ब्रेक दि चेनचे (Break the chain) आदेश सर्वत्र एकसारखे लागू न करता आता पालिका, जिल्हा क्षेत्रातील पॉझिटिव्हीटी दर आणि तेथील ऑक्सिजन खाटांची उपलब्धता याचा विचार करून त्यानुसार 15 जूनच्या सकाळी 7 पर्यंत निर्बंध कमी किंवा अधिक करण्यात येतील, अशी माहिती उद्धव ठाकरेंनी दिलीय.
प्रश्न १: कोविड निर्बंधांसाठी प्रशासकीय घटक (महानगरपालिका किंवा जिल्ह्याचा इतर भाग) क, ड किंवा ई यापैकी कोणत्या श्रेणीत असावे हे कोण ठरवते?
उत्तर:- हे निर्णय जिल्हा व्यवस्थापन प्रशासन (डी एम ए) घेते आणि तात्काळ त्याची घोषणा करते. यानंतर वेगवेगळ्या प्रशासकीय घटकांसाठी तिथल्या आवश्यकतेनुसार सदर मापदंड ठरवले जातील.
प्रश्न २- जर एखाद्या महानगरपालिका पालिका क्षेत्र किंवा (जिल्ह्यातील इतर भाग) येथील पॉझिटिव्हिटी दर किंवा भरलेले ऑक्सिजन बेडची संख्या याच्यात बदल होत असेल तर?
उत्तर:- सदर मार्गदर्शक तत्वे २९ मे २०२१ रोजी जाहीर केलेल्या आदेशांसाठी लागू असेल. जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्रशासन हे भरलेले ऑक्सिडेशन बेड आणि पॉझिटिव्हिटी दर याचा साप्ताहिक आढावा घेतील, बहुदा शुक्रवारी, जेणेकरून येणाऱ्या सोमवार पासून आवश्यक बदल करून त्यांची अंमलबजावणी सुरू होऊ शकेल.
पॉझिटिव्हिटी दर बदलून जिथे निर्बंधांना शिथील करावे लागणार असेल तर जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्रशासन सदर तरतूद ३० मे २०२१ रोजी दिलेल्या ‘ब्रेक द चेन आदेशाच्या अधीन राहून लागू करू शकते परंतु त्यासाठी राज्य आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरण (एसडीएमए) कडून परवानगी घ्यावी लागेल.
जर पॉझिटिव्हिटी दर आणि भरलेले ऑक्सीजन बेडची टक्केवारी अशाप्रकारे बदलत असेल की, तिथे निर्बंध जास्त कडक करण्याची आवश्यकता भासत असेल, तर जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्रशासन एसडीएमएला या संबंधी माहिती देऊन निर्बंध आणखी कठोर करू शकते.
प्रश्न ३:- ऑक्सीजन बेडची टक्केवारी काढताना व्हेंटिलेटर बेड/आय सी यु बेड यांची संख्या ही त्यात अंतर्भूत असेल का?
उत्तर:- हॉस्पिटल किंवा वैद्यकीय सुविधा असलेल्या ठिकाणी कोणतेही बेड की ज्याच्याशी ऑक्सिजन पुरवठा संलग्न असेल किंवा त्याची तरतूद असेल, त्यांना ऑक्सिजन बेड म्हणूनच गणले जाईल.
प्रश्न ४:- ३० मे २०२१रोजी प्रसिद्ध केलेल्या आदेशात समाविष्ट नसलेल्या सलून/ स्पा / जिम व इतर गैर -आवश्यक आस्थापनांबाबत काय?
उत्तर:- १२ मे २०२१ रोजी जाहीर केलेल्या ‘ब्रेक दि चेन ’ आदेश अशा ठिकाणी अंमलात असेल.
प्रश्न ५:- जिल्ह्याबाहेरील किंवा राज्यबाहेरील लोक जर एखाद्या जिल्ह्यातील ऑक्सीजन बेड वरती असतील तर त्या ऑक्सिजन बेडला ‘भरलेला’ म्हणून गृहीत धरावे का?
उत्तर:- सर्व ऑक्सिजन बेड मग ते कोणत्याही व्यक्ती त्यावर असो, त्यांना ‘भरलेले ऑक्सीजन बेड म्हणूनच गणले जाईल.
प्रश्न ६:- जीआरई, जीएमएटी, टीओईएफएल, आयईएलटीएस परीक्षांबद्दल काय?
उत्तर:- कोणत्याही परीक्षेसाठी विद्यार्थ्यांची ये-जा करताना त्यांच्यासोबत एका सज्ञान व्यक्तीस परवानगी असेल. हॉल तिकीट किंवा इतर कोणतेही दस्तावेज यांना प्रवासासाठी वैद्य गृहीत धरण्यात येईल.
प्रश्न ७:- नागरिकांच्या जिल्हाअंतर्गत प्रवासाबद्दल काय?
उत्तर:- जर सदर प्रवास एखाद्या अशा प्रशासकीय घटकासाठी किंवा घटकातून होत असेल की, जेथे २० टक्क्यांपेक्षा जास्त पॉझिटिव्ह दर आहे आणि ७५ टक्क्यांपेक्षा जास्त ऑक्सिजन बेड भरलेले आहेत, तेथे प्रवास करण्यासाठी परवानगी मिळणार नाही. फक्त कुटुंबातील मृत्यू, वैद्यकीय कारण आणि आवश्यक आणीबाणीच्या प्रसंगी सेवा देणाऱ्या व्यक्तींचा अपवाद असेल.
उपरोक्त प्रशासकीय घटकांत व्यतिरिक्त इतर ठिकाणाहून प्रवास करणाऱ्यांसाठी 12 मे 20 21 ला जाहीर केलेल्या आदेशाप्रमाणे निर्बंध /परवानगी च्या अटी-शर्ती लागू असतील. त्यात कोणतेही बदल करण्यात आलेले नाही.
ब्रेक द चेनअंतर्गत नवे नियम पुढीलप्रमाणे
> सर्व आवश्यक वस्तू व सेवांची दुकाने जी सध्या सकाळी 7 ते 11 या वेळेत सुरु आहेत, ती सकाळी 7 ते दुपारी 2 या वेळेत सुरू ठेवता येतील.
> सर्व आवश्यक गटात नसलेल्या इतर दुकानांना उघडणे आणि त्यांच्या वेळा ( केवळ एकल दुकाने. मॉल्स किंवा शॉपिंग सेन्टर्स नव्हे) याबाबतीत स्थानिक आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरण निर्णय घेईल.
> आवश्यक गटातील दुकानाच्या वेळेप्रमाणेच त्यांच्या वेळा असतील तसेच शनिवार , रविवार ती बंद राहतील. अशा भागांत आवश्यक वस्तूंच्या जोडीने आवश्यक नसलेल्या वस्तू देखील ई कॉमर्स माध्यमातून वितरीत करता येतील.
> दुपारी 3 नंतर मात्र वैद्यकीय किंवा इतर आणीबाणीच्या प्रसंगांव्यतिरिक्त येण्या-जाण्यावर निर्बंध असतील. कोरोनाविषयक कामे करणाऱ्या कार्यालयांव्यतिरिक्त इतर सर्व शासकीय कार्यालये ही 25 टक्के कर्मचारी उपस्थितीनिशी सुरू राहतील. संबंधित विभाग प्रमुखास यापेक्षाही जादा उपस्थिती हवी असेल तर संबंधित आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकारी त्यास परवानगी देईल.
>कृषीविषयक दुकाने आठवड्याच्या कामाच्या दिवसांना दुपारी 2 पर्यंत सुरू राहू शकतील. येणारा पावसाळा आणि पेरणीच्या तयारीसाठी स्थानिक आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकारी या दुकानाच्या वेळा वाढवू शकते किंवा शनिवार, रविवार सुरू ठेवण्यास परवानगी देऊ शकते.
>जिल्ह्यांच्या सीमा पूर्णपणे बंद करण्यात येतील आणि कुणाही व्यक्तीला जिल्ह्याच्या आत बाहेर करण्यास परवानगी राहणार नाही. केवळ कुटुंबातील मृत्यू, वैद्यकीय कारण आणि आवश्यक, आणीबाणीच्या कोविड प्रसंगीची सेवा देणाऱ्या व्यक्तींचा अपवाद असेल.
>तसेच 12 मेच्या आदेशाप्रमाणे दंडही आकारण्यात येईल. आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकारी यांनी निश्चित केलेल्या वेळेनुसार होम डिलिव्हरी सुरूच राहतील.
> कोणत्याही वाहनातून महाराष्ट्र राज्यामध्ये दाखल होणाऱ्या प्रत्येक व्यक्तीकडे RT-PCR निगेटिव्ह चाचणी अहवाल असणे अनिवार्य आहे. हा अहवाल राज्यामध्ये प्रवेश करण्याच्या जास्तीत जास्त 48 तास अगोदर केलेल्या चाचणीचा असावा.
> यापूर्वी 18 एप्रिल आणि 1 मे 2021 रोजी जाहीर केलेल्या निर्बंधांमध्ये महाराष्ट्रात दाखल होणाऱ्या संवेदशील भागातील व्यक्तींसाठी असलेले नियम आता देशाच्या कोणत्याही भागातून महाराष्ट्रामध्ये दाखल होणाऱ्या व्यक्तींसाठी लागू राहतील.
> मालवाहतूक करणाऱ्यांकरिता एका वाहनांमध्ये फक्त दोन व्यक्ती (चालक आणि क्लिनर/हेल्पर) यांना प्रवास करण्याची मुभा असेल. जर हे मालवाहक महाराष्ट्राच्या बाहेरून येत असतील तर त्यातील दोघांना RT-PCR निगेटिव्ह चाचणी अहवाल द्यावा लागेल आणि हा अहवाल राज्यात दाखल होण्याच्या जास्तीत जास्त 48 तासापूर्वीचा असावा. हा अहवाल सात दिवसांकरिता वैध राहील.
> स्थानिक आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्रशासन (डीएमए) हे ग्रामीण बाजारपेठ आणि कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समित्यांच्या कामावर सनियंत्रण ठेवतील आणि कोरोना निर्बंधांचे काटेकोर पालन केले जात आहे की नाही यावर लक्ष ठेवतील. जर ‘डीएमए’ला असे आढळले की, अशा काही ठिकाणी व्यवस्था करणे व शिस्तीचे पालन होत नाहीये, तर त्या त्या ठिकाणच्या ग्रामीण बाजारपेठा आणि कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समित्यांचे कामकाज बंद करण्याचा निर्णय किंवा अधिक निर्बंध लावण्याचा निर्णय घेतला जाईल.

Metro Services on Kamptee Road and Central Avenue Soon
Maha Metro Nagpur is all geared up for regularizing its services in the Covid-19 restrictions unlock phase. A number of steps have been taken to prevent spread of this pandemic to ensure that the commuters and Maha Metro officials and employees remain safe and secure. While all such precautions would continue to be taken, a series of other important measures for passengers are also being taken.
These steps are being taken to promise a safe and secure ride for the commuters. As part of these measures, the metro trains would be disinfected regularly. All metro stations would be frequently sanitized. While sanitizing metro stations, emphasis would be on areas which are occupied or mostly used. The crew control room, baby care rooms, and station control room are some such areas with high footfall.
All such areas and rooms would be frequently sanitized. The sanitization activity will be as per norms and procedures. The metro staff would wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks and hand gloves. The union and state government and other statutory authorities have time and again issued directives regarding steps to be taken for arresting spread of Covid.
These advisories by the government and the authorities would be communicated to the commuters. The same have already been told to Maha Metro employees. Regular announcements will be made on public address systems, both at stations and trains, about Covid-19 awareness. Standees and information boards would be put up at metro stations for passengers’ information and perusal.
Maha Metro staff regularly sanitizes all the touch points in the trains and stations. While the agency encourages digital fare transactions, its staff sanitizes the currency notes paid by passengers using ultra-violet rays. These notes are kept separately.
The Maha Metro staff has been sensitized regarding these measures and told to follow all the steps religiously to imbibe confidence in the mind of the commuters. Higher authorities would monitor execution of all these measures to ensure safe and secure ride to all the Maha Metro commuters.
India reports 1,52,734 new COVID-19 cases, lowest in 50 days, 2,38,022 discharges and 3,128 deaths in last 24 hrs, as per health ministry.
Active caseload further declines to 20,26,092 after cases decreased by 88,416 in last 24 hours, the ministry said.
Recovery rate increases to 91.60 per cent. The weekly positivity rate is currently at 9.04 per cent and daily positivity rate at 9.07 per cent, less than 10 per cent for seven consecutive days, it said.

Nagpur: The crime branch of Nagpur police has arrested two person for allegedly printing fake currency notes, an official said on Sunday.
The accused learnt printing of currency by watching tutorials on YouTube, he said.
The accused, Nilesh Kadbe (24), a history-sheeter, and Maruf Khan alias Rafique Khan (24) had managed to circulate fake currency with the face value of Rs. 2 lakh in the market so far, he said.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided Kadbe”s house in Ekta Nagar locality on Saturday. Police had seized a computer, two printers, besides fake currency notes of Rs.100 denomination.
Kadbe used to purchase food, liquor, electronic gadgets etc. using fake currency. He had also purchased items from e-tailers, the official said.
To avoid risk, he used to print fake notes of Rs.100 and Rs.50 denominations as circulating fake currency of Rs.500 in the market is risky.
A case has been registered under the Indian Penal Code.
A minor boy died by suicide in Hyderabad on Friday after marrying a 20-year-old woman, who also attempted to kill herself, and failing to get their family’s approval of the relationship.
The couple had reportedly secretly married and were staying in a rented room in the city’s Yousufguda area. They took the extreme step in an inebriated state. But the woman survived and the boy, 17, succumbed to death.
Neelima and the boy had met on Facebook and were in a relationship for the last three months. However, as their parents refused their proposal to get married, the couple left home.
On Friday night, they decided to hang themselves following a fight with each other. But, as her hook broke, Neelima fell down, while her minor partner breathed his last. She had then rushed outside to inform the neighbours, who alerted the police without touching the dead body.
“The couple got married a month ago in a temple, but their parents were against their decision. So, they were residing in a rented room. The couple had a fight about the same in a drunken state and decided to kill themselves,” the news report quoted I Chandrashekhar, sub-inspector with the local Jubilee Hills Police Station, as saying.
The Maharashtra government on Sunday extended the Covid-induced lockdown in the state till June 15. The government said all districts showing a substantial decline in Covid-19 cases will see some relaxations.
The relaxations have been announced for areas with a positivity rate equal to or less than 10 per cent and with occupancy of oxygen beds less than 40 per cent.
Here are the revised lockdown guidelines.
Relaxations where Covid cases are low
All essential shops that are currently allowed to operate between 7 am and 11 am may be allowed to operate between 7 am and 2 pm.
Decision regarding opening of non-essential shops (standalone shops and not inside shopping centers/malls) with a time limit may be taken by the respective disaster management authorities (DMA). However, if these shops are allowed to function, their opening time shall not be beyond that allowed for essential shops. These shops shall also not be allowed to open on weekends.
Delivery of non-essential items along with essential items through e-Commerce may be allowed in eligible districts.
Post 3 pm, there shall be restrictions on movement except for medical and other emergencies, or for home deliveries allowed under the order dated May 12, 2021.
All government offices, except those directly involved in Covid-19 work in the said districts can function with 25 per cent attendance. Respective disaster management authorities may allow more than this percentage of attendance on the request of the concerned Head of Department.
For central and state government establishments in Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai areas, these permissions shall be granted by Chief Secretary of State of Maharashtra.
Agriculture sector Agriculture-related shops may remain open till 2 pm on weekdays. However, the respective DMA may extend this timing on weekdays or may allow for some period on weekends, taking into consideration the requirements of sowing season and in view of the impending monsoon.
Restrictions where Covid-19 cases are high
In case of areas where the positivity rate is more than 20 per cent or where occupancy of the oxygen beds available is more than 75 per cent, restrictions imposed on May 12 will be in place in addition to some new rules.
