As the world around us changes rapidly and access to information grows exponentially, there has been a shift in the way consumers across India are viewing their lifestyle and food choices. According to a recent survey conducted between 5th – 25th March 2021 by Ipsos India, a research consulting firm, 78% respondents feel healthy snacking is important (Very important (58%) and Fairly Important (20%) amidst changing lifestyles. The quantitative survey by Ipsos India aimed to identify the changing snacking habits and preferences amongst India’s urban youth amidst the evolving modern lifestyle. Overall, the survey results showcase how increasingly younger people in India are becoming more concerned about their health and this is propelling them to change their snacking habits. The survey highlights how younger people across India, are increasingly opting for healthy and nutritious snacking options like almonds and fruits, instead of high calorie junk foods.
A total of 4,148 respondents, NCCS A men and women, between the age group of 18 to 35 years were interviewed across 12 cities in India, including, Delhi, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Hyderabad.

In continuation to this Office Press Release dated 5th July,2021, Pan India Searches were conducted at Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Noida, Guwahati and Chennai by the officers of DGGI on 13-07-2021 to apprehend the persons behind in the fraudulent refunds scam of Rs. 213.67 Crore unearthed by DGGI, Nagpur Zonal Unit in the first week of July,2021.
The coordinated Pan India searches at multiple places enabled this Zonal Unit to identify an additional eight non-existent entities in the fraudulent ITC network spread across India which had availed fraudulent ITC of Rs. 222.09 Crore.
The investigations have further revealed that it was these non-existent entities which had passed on fraudulent ITC to the 3 non-existent entities of Nagpur which had taken refunds out of the fraudulent ITC so availed by them.
The officers of DGGI, Nagpur Zonal Unit also nabbed a person from Ghaziabad who was in charge of preparation of fake invoices of this network and who was handling the Bank accounts of non-existent firms in which fraudulent refunds of Rs. 123.97 Crore were transferred and utilized. This person was arrested today and has been remanded to Judicial Custody by the Hon’ble Court till 28th July, 2021.

दोनहून अधिक मुलांना जन्माला घालणार्यांना दंड करण्याची तसेच सरकारी लाभांपासून वंचित ठेवण्याची शिफारस विधेयकात करण्यात आली होती.
राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसचा पाठिंबा?
राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पक्षाचे अध्यक्ष शरद पवार यांनी याआधीच उत्तर प्रदेशचे मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ यांच्या लोकसंख्या नियंत्रणासंबंधीच्या धोरणाला पाठिंबा दर्शविलेला आहे. त्यामुळे राज्यसभेत सादर विधेयकालाही ते पाठिंबा देतील, अशी शक्यता वर्तविली जात आहे.
Nagpur : Deepak Kapoor, Vice-Chairman, and Managing Director of Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) Ltd visited the ambitious Multimodal International Hub and Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN) project on Thursday and took stock of the situation. He asked Patanjali to start production at its Mega Food Park by December this year. He also visited the Dassault Reliance Aerospace Limited (DRAL) facility and Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) unit of Air India. Kapoor took a detailed review of development works of several prominent companies in MIHAN including Air India MRO, DRAL, Patanjali Mega Food Park, and Future Supply Chain.
He visited the Mega Food Park of Patanjali coming up in the sprawling area of 232 acres of land. More than 12 lakh sq ft of the industrial shed along with all the necessary machinery has already been installed two-three years ago.
The production was about to start but could not due to some problem. During the interaction, Kapoor asked the officials of Patanjali to start production by December 2021 and assured them co-operation and support of MADC and the Government. He said that Patanjali Mega Food Park was very important for the Vidarbha region as it would generate huge employment for the youth and business opportunities for farmers.
During a visit to the DRAL facility, Arvind Kumar, Chief Executive Officer; Jean Luc Robert, Chief Operating Officer; and David Raju welcomed Kapoor and briefed him about the entire production process of the commercial Aircraft Falcon-2000. DRAL facility is operational in more than 3 lakh sq ft area wherein assembly of Falcon-2000 is going on in full swing. DRAL plans to complete the production of the very first Falcon-2000 aircraft at the MIHAN facility and fly it from Nagpur runway by December 2022.
According to MADC, more than 90 percent of the total employees working in the DRAL facility are from the Vidarbha region. Kapoor informed DRAL officials that the occupancy certificate for the existing hangar and approval for the design of two new hangars of 1.5 lakh sq ft each, was already given to DRAL.
Satya Veer Singh, General Manager, welcomed Kapoor at Air India MRO and showed him all the state-of-the-art MRO facilities of Air India at par with a high level of International standards as per civil aviation norms. Later, Kapoor visited Future Supply Chain (FSC) where he was welcomed by Vipin Telgote, Zonal Human Resources Head of FSC. Kapoor saw all the advanced warehousing facilities at FSC including the automated sorting system and appreciated the same.
MADC to lease out 72 small industrial plots to MSMEs of Vidarbha During his visit to the MIHAN area, Deepak Kapoor also had a meeting with office-bearers of Vidarbha Industries Association including Suresh Rathi, President, and Gaurav Sarda, Secretary. Kapoor informed them that MADC was coming up with 72 small industrial plots to be leased out to MSMEs of the region. It will provide an opportunity to the budding industrialists of the region. He also said that the order had already been given to MADC officials for repairing internal roads of MIHAN, renovating the restrooms, repair the ceilings and exterior paint of the Central Facility Building. Kapoor also interacted with owners and senior officers of a few prominent hotels of Nagpur regarding the availability of 6.8 acres of land to be leased out for a five-star hotel. He heard suggestions and expectations of the hoteliers and assured to take positive and suitable decisions for the same. Kapoor took stock of all development and maintenance works being carried out in MIHAN and directed MADC officials to speed up all the works. He asked them to put in efforts for increasing revenue for the project and attract more investors to MIHAN. He specifically directed them to be people-friendly and more accessible to industry representatives and resolve their grievances with speed.

Nagpur: Terming the PILs filed by Save Ajni Vann activists as “premature”, the Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court on Wednesday turned down the request of petitioners to stay felling of trees for the proposed Inter Modal Station (IMS) at Ajni.
The Court adjourned the hearing till the statutory process of hearing before the Tree Authority of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) was on. At this stage, the petitions are premature, observed a division bench consisting of Justice Sunil Shukre and Justice Anil Kilor.
The court advised the petitioners to raise all issues including lack of authority to NMC’s Tree Authority, during the hearing. The High Court, while hearing two separate petitions, now tagged, also refused to grant any prospective stay to the decision of Tree Authority while adjourning the matter till the issue was adjudicated by the designated officer.
When the issue of environmental clearance was raised in one petition filed by Swachha Foundation, the High Court sought to know whether it was a notified forest. NHAI Counsel Anand Parchure pointed out that land under possession of Railways was lying unused for many years due to which many trees and shrubs had grown. The High Court then sought to know the basis of several pleadings and averments made by petitioner Ajay Tiwari and Shweta Burbure and Swachha Foundation, including claim about exemption from environmental clearance granted to NHAI and Ministry of Road Transport by the Ministry of Environment and Forest and Climate Change.
When Adv Anilkumar, appearing for the petitioners, conceded that he had not annexed the communication, the High Court expressed displeasure noting that “it is a very serious issue and we cannot just go by pleadings in absence of any supporting documents.” When the petitioner claimed that recent amendment to Tree Act would take away this hearing from the purview of NMC since more than 200 trees needed to be cut and hence ought to be placed before the State Tree Authority, the High Court orally asked them to make this submission of the absence of jurisdiction and authority during the hearing before NMC’s Tree Authority during the proposed hearing.
The petitioner claimed that NHAI had proposed to fell 4,930 trees of ‘AjniVann’ for the IMS and more than 8,000 objections had been filed opposing such indiscriminate tree chopping for a project, which was not required in the middle of the city.
NMC informed the High Court that it would hear objections after processing them and a public hearing would be scheduled after which the petition might or might not survive. About exact details of species, the number of trees, and a number of trees to be translocated, the petitioners claimed that NHAI in its application had mentioned the number of trees along with details of species and stated that number had been disclosed by NMC in its public notice inviting objections and suggestions from citizens. Under Maharashtra (Urban Areas) Protection and Preservation of Trees Act, 1975, NMC is dutybound to protect the trees, the petitioners contended.
New Delhi: Twitter will not enjoy legal protection if it does not follow India’s new information technology rules, which includes clauses like appointing compliance officers based in the country, the Delhi High Court told the social media giant on Thursday.
The court also asked all interim officers appointed by Twitter to file affidavits stating they would take responsibility for the duties tasked to them.
Earlier in the day, Twitter sought eight weeks’ time to appoint a grievance officer in India, telling the Delhi High Court that it has appointed an interim chief compliance officer, who is a resident of India, two days ago.
It said an interim grievance officer will be appointed by July 11 and that an interim nodal contact person will be appointed in two weeks.
The social media giant also told the court that it will make its first compliance report public by July 11.
Twitter gave a time frame two days after the court warned that it cannot take “as long as it wants” in this country to appoint an India-based officer for it to comply with the country’s new IT rules.
Appointments for three full-time positions – a chief compliance officer, a resident grievance officer and a nodal contact person – will be made in eight weeks, Twitter said, adding it is accepting applications for these roles for which job openings have been posted.
On Tuesday, Delhi High Court gave a stern warning to the company over the appointment of a grievance office. “How long does your process take? If Twitter thinks it can take as long it wants in our country, I will not allow that,” Justice Rekha Palli had said.
Last month, Dharmendra Chatur, who was appointed as Twitter India’s interim grievance redressal officer, resigned amid the government’s clashes with the American firm over a range of issues, including its stand on the IT rules.
After Mr Chatur quit, Twitter appointed its US-based Global Legal Policy Director Jeremy Kessel as a grievance officer for India. The new rules, however, require an Indian resident for the role.
The high court on Tuesday asked Twitter why no new grievance officer was appointed after Mr. Chatur resigned.

पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, ही घटना रात्री 10 वाजेच्या सुमारास अंबाझरी पोलीस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीतील घडली. अक्षय जयपूर (Akshya Jaypur) असं मृतकचे नाव आहे. अक्षय हा गुन्हेगार होता. त्याच्यावर हत्या आणि हत्येचा प्रयत्न व इतर गंभीर गुन्हे दाखल होते. सहा महिन्याआधीच तो जेलमधून बाहेर आला होता.
बुधवारी रात्री अक्षय हा पांढराबोडी परिसरात आल्याची माहिती आरोपांना मिळाली होती. त्यानंतर चौघांनी जाऊन अक्षयला घेरले आणि बेदम मारहाण केली. त्यानंतर डोक्यात दगड घालून पळून गेले. अतिरक्तस्त्राव झाल्यामुळे अक्षयचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला.
घटनेची माहिती मिळताच अंबाझरी पोलीस घटनास्थळी दाखल झाले. घटनेचा पंचनामा केल्यानंतर मृतदेह ताब्यात घेतला. अवैध दारूविक्रीच्या वादातून प्रतिस्पर्धी टोळीने अक्षयची हत्या केल्याचे प्राथमिक माहिती तपासात पुढे आली आहे. या प्रकरणी पोलिसांनी चार आरोपींना अटक केली असून इतर आरोपीचा शोध सुरू आहे.
पोलीस मारहाणीत वाहनचालकाचा मृत्यू
तर, मद्यपी वाहन चालकांच्या दुचाकीची पोलीस वाहनाला धडक बसल्यानंतर पोलिसांनी मद्यपीला केलेल्या जबर मारहाणीत मनोज ठवकर या वाहन चालकाचा मृत्यू झाला. नागपूरच्या पारडी भागत रात्री 9 वाजताच्या सुमारास ही घटना घडली.
जखमी अवस्थेत असतांना पोलिसांनी मनोज ठवकरला भवानी हॉस्पिटलमध्ये भरती केले. मात्र डॉक्टरांनी त्याला मृत घोषित केले. त्यांनतर मृतकच्या नातेवाईकांनी व स्थानिकांनी हॉस्पिटलमध्ये जमून पोलिसांच्या विरोधात जोरात नारेबाजी केली. प्रकरण संवेदनशील असल्याने वरिष्ठ पोलीस या प्रकरणाचा तपास करत आहे. या प्रकरणी अद्याप कुणालाही अटक करण्यात आलेली नाही.
नागपूर : मद्यपी तरुणाची दुचाकी वाहनावर धडकल्यामुळे संतप्त झालेल्या पोलिसांनी त्याला बेदम मारहाण केली. त्यामुळे त्या तरुणाचा मृत्यु झाला. पारडी पोलीस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीत घडलेल्या या घटनेमुळे निर्माण झालेला तणाव मध्यरात्रीपर्यंत पारडी परिसरात प्रचंड तणाव कायम होता. त्यामुळे शहरातील अनेक वरिष्ठ पोलीस अधिकारी पारडीच्या भवानी हॉस्पिटलमध्ये पोहोचले होते.
सूत्रांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, बुधवारी रात्री ९ वाजताच्या सुमारास पारडी परिसरात मनोज ठवकर नामक तरुणाची दुचाकी पोलिसांच्या गस्ती वाहनावर धडकली. त्यामुळे संतप्त झालेल्या पोलिसांनी ठवकरला बेदम मारहाण केली. आधीच मद्य प्राशन करून असलेल्या ठवकरची प्रकृती यामुळे अस्वस्थ झाली. तो निपचित पडल्याचे पाहुन पोलीस हादरले. त्यांनी त्याला भवानी हॉस्पीटलमध्ये दाखल केले. तेथे डॉक्टरांनी ठवकरला मृत घोषित केले.
या घटनेचे वृत्त परिसरात कळताच सर्वत्र प्रचंड खळबळ उडाली. मोठ्या प्रमाणावर नागरिक आणि ठवकरचे नातेवाईक भवानी हॉस्पीटलमध्ये पोहोचले. पोलिसांच्या मारहाणीमुळे ठवकरचा मृत्यु झाल्याचा आरोप करुन त्यांनी तेथे घोषणाबाजी सुरु केली. जमाव हजाराच्या संख्येत होता. त्यामुळे प्रचंड तणाव निर्माण झाला. ही माहिती कळताच पोलीस दलातील बहुतांश वरिष्ठ पोलीस अधिकारी हॉस्पीटलमध्ये पोहोचले. त्यांनी कसेबसे जमावाला शांत करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला.
मात्र ठवकरचा मृत्यु पोलिसांच्या मारहाणीमुळे झाला त्यामुळे त्यांना तातडीने अटक करा, अशी मागणी करून जमावाने पोलिसांच्या नावाने शिमगा केला. तणाव वाढत असल्याचे पाहून आजुबाजुच्या पोलीस ठाण्यातील अतिरिक्त पोलीस ताफा तसेच शिघ्र कृती दलाचे जवान हॉस्पीटलमध्ये बोलवून घेण्यात आले. वृत्त लिहिस्तोवर कोणत्याही पोलीस अधिकाऱ्यांनी याबाबत माहिती देण्याचे टाळले होते.

‘असुर’ ही एक क्राईम थ्रिलर वेब सीरीज होती, ज्यात अरशद वारसीशिवाय अभिनेता बरुण सोबती, अमेय वाघ महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिकेत दिसले होते. या सीरीजमधून अरशदने ओटीटी विश्वात पदार्पण केले होते. जिथे 8 भागांच्या पहिल्या हंगामाची कहाणी संपली, तेथून पुढचा हंगाम सुरू होईल.
अरशदची भूमिका
‘असुर’ या वेब सीरीजमध्ये अरशद वारसी सीबीआय अधिकारी धनंजय राजपूतच्या भूमिकेत दिसला होता. या भूमिकेतून अरशदने चाहत्यांवर खोलवर छाप पाडली होती. त्याच वेळी, बरुण सोबती यांनी फॉरेन्सिक तज्ञाची भूमिका केली. अभिनेत्री रिद्धि डोगरानेही यात महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावली होती. आता नवीन सीरीजची बातमी समोर आल्यानंतर चाहते उत्सुकतेने याची वाट पाहत आहेत. हे इतके स्पष्ट आहे की, असुरच्या सीझन 2 मध्ये चाहत्यांना सस्पेन्सचा दुप्पट डोस मिळणार आहे.

43 नेत्यांचा शपथविधी
आज सायंकाळी 6 वाजता होणाऱ्या शपथविधी सोहळ्यात 43 मंत्र्यांना शपथ दिली जाण्याची शक्यता आहे. सध्या मोदींच्या मंत्रिमंडळात 53 मंत्री आहे, ही संख्या वाढून 81 होणार आहे.
शपथविधी पूर्वी चार मंत्र्यांचे राजीनामे
दरम्यान, आज संध्याकाळी होणाऱ्या शपथविधीपूर्वीच चार मंत्र्यांनी राजीनामे दिले आहेत. नव्या चेहऱ्यांना संधी देण्यासाठी हे राजीनामे घेण्यात आले आहेत. राजीनामा दिलेल्या मंत्र्यांमध्ये केंद्रीय शिक्षण मंत्री निशंक, सदानंद गौडा, संतोष गंगवार आणि देबोश्री चौधरी यांचा समावेश आहे. नव्या चेहऱ्यांबद्दलही तेवढीच उत्सुकता आहे. उत्तर प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, गुजरातसह जवळपास सहा राज्यातल्या नेत्यांना मंत्रिमंडळात स्थान देण्यात येईल अशी चर्चा आहे.

Bengaluru: As the focus remained on fighting the COVID-19 towards the end of 2020, a small girl and her two brothers were waging a war silently at their home in rural Bengaluru every single day. Abandoned by their mother and brought up by their alcoholic father and grandparents, the children, who are not even 10-years-old, were allegedly being sexually abused by their own uncle. Taking advantage of grandmother’s addiction, the accused used to gift alcohol to her and make his way into their house. He would then sexually abuse the children and threaten them with dire consequences if they dared to speak up.
The children, however, did manage to share their plight with a doctor from a mobile medical unit. He approached the police and uploaded a video appeal on WhatsApp, which came to the attention of the Satyarthi Movement’s Bachpan Bachao Andolan (Save the Childhood Movement).
When we intervened in the case, we came to know about the basic problems, how it happened, and how it is an inhuman way of behaving by children’s own blood relatives, said Binu Verghese, State Coordinator, Bachpan Bachao Andolan.
A heart-to-heart conversation revealed the extent of the abuse the children were subjected to. The elder child, the girl, was not just informed of her own plight but also what her two younger brothers were subjected to.
The accused uncle was arrested within two weeks’ time. The grandmother, who used to be bribed with liquor, was also accused in this case as she was fully aware of the crime but chose to keep mum. As a result, the traumatized children were taken away from their hostile home environment to child care institutions.
While speaking to NDTV, Daranesh M.B, Project Coordinator, Open Shelter For Children, Sneha Bharathi Education Society, explained how the grandmother negated the abuse and turned a blind eye.
The uncle has done this many times. The child told nobody. She did tell her grandmother but the grandmother took no action. So, because of the fear within the family, the child didn’t tell anybody what was happening. The grandmother told her to leave it alone, that it didn’t matter and that nothing would happen. The grandmother showed no affection to the child and did not take action after the child spoke to her, he said.
In 90 percent of child sexual abuse cases, the child knows the abuser. Many such cases happen within the home, by the child’s own relatives. Shedding all inhibitions, while families need to stand by their victimized children and seek justice, the role that alert citizens can play in bringing the guilty to book is also amplified by this case.
Legendary actor Dilip Kumar passed away. He was 98. The actor was admitted to suburban Khar-based Hinduja Hospital, a non-COVID-19 facility, last week to address age-related ‘medical issues” days after being discharged from the same hospital. Dilip Kumar’s family friend Faisal Farooqui confirmed the news of his death on the actor’s official Twitter account. ‘With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him, we return,” the tweet read.
On Monday, his wife Saira Banu had confirmed that he was recovering and might soon return home.
She had also shared an update about his health on Twitter. ‘We are grateful for God’s infinite mercy on Dilip Sahib that his health is improving. We are still in hospital and request your prayers and duas so that Insha’Allah he is healthy and discharged soon. Saira Banu Khan (sic),” read her tweet via Dilip Kumar’s official handle.
The Hindi cinema veteran was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital in June following episodes of breathlessness. At the time, Kumar was diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion — a build-up of excess fluid between the layers of the pleura outside the lungs — and underwent a successful pleural aspiration procedure. He was discharged after five days.
Kumar’s career spans over five decades with hits like ‘Mughal-e-Azam”, ‘Devdas”, ‘Naya Daur”, and ‘Ram Aur Shyam”. His last big-screen appearance was in the 1998 film ‘Qila”. The thespian was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015 for his contribution to Indian cinema.
The Pakistan government also honoured him with its highest civilian honour – Nishan-e-Imtiaz – in 1997.
Nagpur: A 19-year-old man allegedly kidnapped his 17-year-old lover, filmed the act, and posted the video on his social media account before he was arrested along with his friend by Nagpur police in Maharashtra, an official said on Sunday. The accused, Sameer Khan Salim Khan, had come in contact with a 17-year-old girl through a common friend in 2019.
The duo entered into a relationship and was regularly uploading videos on TikTok application, an officer said.
Khan and the girl also had physical relations after he promised to marry her, he said quoting the FIR.
However, the relations between the two soured after Khan suspected the girl of having an affair with another youth.
On June 18, Khan forced the girl to sit on his motorcycle in Kamal Chowk area with the help of his friend Shakin Mohd Siddiqui (25), the officer said.
Khan shot the video of abduction and posted it on his Instagram account. He took the girl to Vita Bhatti area where he abused and thrashed her. The accused tried to kill the girl but she managed to escape from the spot, he said.
Some locals alerted the city police about the incident on Twitter, following which crime branch officials tracked down Khan and arrested him along with Siddiqui.
A case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act, the officer added.

शैक्षणिक पात्रता : एसबीआयमध्ये ६१०० अप्रेंटिस पदांच्या भरतीसाठी पात्रता निकष जाहीर करण्यात आले आहेत. या उमेदवारांकडे कोणत्याही मान्यताप्राप्त विद्यापीठ किंवा उच्च शिक्षण संस्थेतून कोणत्याही विषयातून पदवी उत्तीर्ण असणे आवश्यक आहे.

निवड प्रक्रिया आणि स्टायपेंड : एसबीआयमध्ये अप्रेंटिससाठी उमेदवारांची निवड ऑनलाईन लेखी परीक्षा आणि स्थानिक भाषा परीक्षेच्या आधारे केली जाणार आहे. ऑनलाइन लेखी परीक्षेमध्ये जनरल/फायनांशिअल अवेअरनेस, जनरल इंग्रजी, क्वांटीटेटीव्ह एप्टीट्यूड आणि रिजनिंग एबिलिटी आणि कॉम्प्यूटर एप्टीट्यूड विषयांचे एकूण १०० प्रश्न असतील.परीक्षा १ तासाांची असेल आणि एकूण शंभर मार्कांची असेल. लेखी परीक्षेमध्ये ०.२५ निगेटीव्ह मार्किंग देखील असणार आहे. लेखी परीक्षेत पास होणाऱ्या उमेदवारांना स्थानिक भाषा परीक्षेसाठी निमंत्रित केले जाणार आहे. अंतिम निवड झाल्यानंतर नियुक्ती देण्यात आलेल्या उमेदवारांना सुरुवातीस १५ हजार रुपये दरमहा स्टायपेंड देण्यात येणार आहे.

सध्या भारतात दररोज सुमारे 50 लाख नागरिकांना लस दिली जात आहे. मात्र कोरोना लसीकरणाबाबत लोकांच्या मनात अजूनही अनेक शंका आहेत, ज्यावर केंद्र सरकारने स्पष्टीकरण दिलं आहे. या लसीच्या दोन्ही डोसमुळे या कोरोनामुळे होणाऱ्या मृत्यूचे प्रमाण 98 टक्क्यांनी कमी होते, असे केंद्र सांगते.
भारतात सध्या सध्या कोविशिल्ड, कोवॅक्सीन यासोबत स्पुतनिक ही रशियन लस लोकांना दिली जात आहे. दरम्यान सध्याच्य परिस्थितीत देशात स्पुतनिकची उपलब्धता कोवाशिल्ड, कोवॅक्सिनपेक्षा थोडी कमी आहे. तज्ज्ञांनी कोविशिल्ड आणि कोवॅक्सीन या दोन डोसची शिफारस केली आहे. तर स्पुतनिकला एकच डोस लस असं सांगण्यात आलं आहे.
कोरोनाचा प्रसार रोखण्यासाठी जगभरात इतरही अनेक लस स्थापित केल्या जात आहेत, ज्यांच्या दोन डोसची तज्ज्ञांनी शिफारस केली आहे. यावर केलेल्या अभ्यासाच्या आधारे सरकारने असं म्हटले आहे की, लसीच्या दोन्ही डोसमुळे कोविड -19 मुळे होणाऱ्या मृत्यूची शक्यता कमी होते. दोन्ही लसीच्या डोसमुळे मृत्यूची शक्यता 98 टक्क्यांनी कमी होते तर एका डोसमधून सुमारे 92 टक्के बचाव होतो.
अमरावती : धक्कादायक घटना. जीवापाड प्रेम करणाऱ्या प्रेयसीने दुसऱ्या मुलासोबत साखरपुडा केल्यामुळे प्रियकराने एका झाडाला गळफास लावून आत्महत्या केली. (Boyfriend commits suicide in Amravati) ही घटना येथील रहाटगाव जवळ एका शेतात घडली. या तरुणाने आत्महत्या पूर्वी एक चिठ्ठी लिहून ठेवल्याची माहिती पोलिसांनी दिली. दरम्यान, चिठ्ठी लिहिण्याबरोबरच आत्महत्या करत असल्याचा व्हिडिओ सुद्धा बनवून त्याने सोशल मीडियावर व्हायरल केला.
अनुभव धाकडे (33, राहणार रमाबाई आंबेडकरनगर अमरावती) असे आत्महत्या केलेल्या तरुणाचे नाव आहे. अनुभव धाकडे याचे परिसरातील एका तरुणीसोबत प्रेमसंबंध होते. तो गेल्या चार ते पाच वर्षांपासून तिला ओळख होता. तेव्हापासून नेहमी हे दोघे रहाटगावनजीक असलेला शेतात भेटत होते. त्यांनी एकमेकांनना लग्नाचे वचनही दिले होते. ते लग्न सुद्धा करणार होते. मात्र अचानक आपल्या प्रेयसीनी साखरपुडा केल्याची माहिती या युवकाला समजल्याने तो दु:खी झाला. त्यानंतर त्याने ज्याठिकाणी झाडाखाली ते रोज भेटायचे त्याच ठिकाणी त्याने झाडाला गळफास लावून आत्महत्या केली आणि आपली जीवनयात्रा कायमची संपवली. त्याने आत्महत्या पूर्वी माझ्या आत्महत्येला माझी प्रेयसी जबाबदार असल्याचे म्हटले आहे.

नवी दिल्ली : महागाईने होरपळत असलेल्या सर्वसामान्य जनतेला सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील तेल कंपन्यांनी जुलै महिन्याच्या पहिल्याच दिवशी मोठा दणका दिला.घरगुती वापराच्या एलपीजी गॅस सिलिंडरच्या दरात कंपन्यांनी २५.५० रुपयांची वाढ केली. दुसरीकडे १९ किलो वजनाच्या व्यावसायिक गॅस सिलिंडरचे दरही ८४ रुपयांनी वाढविण्यात आले आहेत. ताज्या दरवाढीनंतर देशाची राजधानी दिल्लीतील घरगुती सिलिंडरचे ८३४ रुपयांवर गेले आहेत.
तेल कंपन्यांकडून गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून सातत्याने पेट्रोल आणि डिझेलच्या दरात वाढ केली जात आहे. त्यापाठोपाठ आता घरगुती आणि व्यावसायिक वापराच्या गॅस सिलिंडरचे दरही वाढविण्यात आल्याने सर्वसामान्य लोक मोठ्या प्रमाणावर प्रभावित होणार आहेत. १४.२ किलो वजनाच्या घरगुती गॅस सिलिंडरचे दिल्लीतील दर ८३४ रुपयांवर गेले असून मुंबईत हेच दर ८३४.५ रुपये, कोलकाता येथे ८६१ रुपये तर चेन्नई येथे ८५० रुपयांवर गेले आहेत.
१९ किलो वजनाच्या व्यावसायिक सिलिंडरचे दिल्लीतील दर वाढून १५५० रुपयांवर गेले आहेत. कोलकाता येथे हेच दर१६५१.१ रुपयांवर तर मुंबई आणि कोलकाता येथे हे दर क्रमशः १५०७ आणि १६८७.५ रुपयांवर गेले आहेत. जून महिन्यात घरगुती गॅस सिलिंडरच्या दरात कोणतीही वाढ करण्यात आली नव्हती. दुसरीकडे व्यावसायिक वापराच्या सिलिंडरचे दर १२३ रुपयांनी वाढविण्यात आले होते.

नवी दिल्ली : काही नवीन मार्गदर्शक तत्वांचे पालन न केल्याने ट्विटरच्या अडचणीत वाढ होत आहे. दरम्यान काल (दि. ३०) ट्विटरवर चौथा गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला. दिल्ली पोलिसांच्या सायबर सेलने चाइल्ड पोर्नोग्राफीसंबंधी हा गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे. राष्ट्रीय बाल अधिकार सुरक्षा आयोगाच्या तक्रारीवरून एफआयआर नोंदवण्यात आले आहे.
दिल्ली पोलिसांच्या सायबर सेलने ट्विटरविरूद्ध हा गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे. राष्ट्रीय बाल हक्क संरक्षण आयोगाच्या तक्रारीवरून हा गुन्हा नोंदविण्यात आला आहे. ट्विटरच्या मायक्रो-ब्लॉगिंग साईटवर मुलांच्या अश्लील सामग्री शेअर केल्या जात असल्याची तक्रार दाखल करण्यात आली आहे. एनसीपीसीआरने याबाबत सायबर सेलकडे तक्रार दाखल केली होती.
ट्विटरवर पोस्को अॅक्ट आणि आयटी कायद्यांतर्गत हा गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे. एनसीपीसीआरने लिहिलेल्या या पत्रांपैकी एक सायबर सेलला आणि दुसरे पत्र दिल्ली पोलिस आयुक्तांना देण्यात आले आहे. तसेच उत्तर प्रदेशच्या गाझियाबादमधील मुस्लिम व्यक्तीला मारहाण केल्याप्रकरणाच्या व्हिडीओचे सादरीकरण करून जातीय सौहार्द बिघडवल्याकारणी पोलिसांनी ट्विटर इंडियाच्या एमडींना कायदेशीर नोटीस पाठविली होती. भारतातील ट्विटरचे एमडी मनीष माहेश्वरी यांना ही नोटीस पाठवली होती. या प्रकरणी ट्विटरच्या एमडींनी उत्तर प्रदेशच्या लोणी पोलिस ठाण्यात हजर राहण्यास सांगितले होते.
दुबई : यंदाचा टी२० वर्ल्डकप संयुक्त अरब अमिरातीमध्ये होणार असल्याचे बीसीसीआय अध्यक्ष सौरभ गांगुली यांनी सांगितले होते. यावर आता आयसीसीने शिक्कामोर्तब केले आहे. आयसीसीने आज ही स्पर्धा १७ ऑक्टोबर पासून १४ नोव्हेंबरपर्यंत होणार आहे असे सांगितले.
आयसीसीने ‘भारतातील कोरोनाची स्थिती पाहता आयसीसीचा पुरुषांचा टी२० वर्ल्डकप २०२१ हा युएई आणि ओमानमध्ये होणार आहे.’ असे अधिकृत वक्तव्य प्रसिद्ध केले. टी२० वर्ल्डकप हा पूर्वी भारतात होणार होता. पण, कोरोनामुळे तो आता युएईमध्ये होणार आहे. यासाठी चार ठिकाणांची निवड करण्यात आली आहे. दुबई आंतरराष्ट्रीय मैदान, अबुधाबीतील शेख झायेद स्टेडियम, शारजा स्टेडियम आणि ओमान क्रिकेट अकादमी ग्राऊंड या मैदानावर टी२० वर्ल्डकप रंगणार आहे.
जरी वर्ल्डकप युएईमध्ये होत असला तरी या वर्ल्डकपचे आयोजकपद बीसीसीआयकडेच राहणार आहे. आयसीसीचे प्रभारी सीईओ गिओफ अलार्डेस यांनी सांगितले की ‘आयसीसी पुरुष टी२० वर्ल्डकप सुरक्षित आणि पूर्णत्वास नेणे ही आमची प्राथमिकता आहे. आम्ही हा वर्ल्डकप भारतात आयोजित करु शकत नाही याबाबत निराशा आहे. आम्हाला अनेक संघांची स्पर्धा बायो सिक्युर वातावरणात यशस्वी आयोजित करुन दाखवलेल्या देशाची गरत होती.’
दरम्यान, बीसीसीआयचे अध्यक्ष सौरभ गांगुली यांनी ‘बीसीसीआय टी२० वर्ल्डकप युएई आणि ओमानमध्ये आयोजिक करणार आहे. आम्ही जर हा भारतात आयोजित करु शकलो असतो तर आनंद झाला असता. पण, भारतात कोरोनामुळे अनिश्चिततेचे वातावरण आहे. ही जागतिक अजिंक्यपद स्पर्धा महत्वाची आहे. बीसीसीआय यापुढेही युएई आणि ओमानमध्ये स्पर्धा आयोजित करणार आहे.’ अशी प्रतिक्रिया दिली.

All have been taken into custody and further investigation is on, during the initial investigation, it has been found that out of 12 women, 5-6 women were actresses working in Bollywood and South Indian films.’ Well, talking about the actress, Heena Panchal is a well-known actress in Marathi and Hindi cinema. देशव्यापी कोरोना विरोधी लसीकरण अभियानांतर्गत आणखी एका लसीला समाविष्ठ करण्यात आले आहे. अमेरिकन कंपनी मॉर्डनाच्या लसीला भारतात आपत्कालीन वापरात मंजूरी देण्यात आली आहे. मॉर्डना लसीला फायझर पूर्वीच मंजुरी मिळाली आहे. स्पुटनिक प्रमाणे मॉर्डना लसीचा पुरवठा देखील तूर्त विदेशातून केला जाईल. पंरतू, येत्या काळात देशांतर्गतच या लसीचे उत्पादन घेतले जाईल. प्राप्त माहितीनूसार दोन दिवसांपूर्वी मॉर्डना लसीकरिता औषध निर्माती कंपनी सिपला कडून अर्ज सादर करण्यात आला होता. अर्जाच्या माध्यमातून लसीच्या परीक्षणासंबंधी सर्व कागदपत्रांची पूर्तता करण्यात आली होती.
जागतिक आरोग्य संघटनेच्या डब्ल्यूएचओ यादीत समाविष्ठ असल्याने मॉर्डना वर भारतात चाचणी करण्याची आवश्यकता नाही. अशात पहिल्याच बैठकीत ड्रग कंट्रोलर जनरल ऑफ इंडिया यांनी सिपला कंपनीचा अर्ज मंजूर करीत देशात चौथ्या लसीच्या रूपात मॉर्डना ला आपत्कालीन वापरात परवानगी दिली.
पुढील महिन्यात मॉर्डना लसीची पहिली खेप भारतात येईल. यानंतर हिमाचल प्रदेशातील कसोली येथील केंद्रीय प्रयोगशाळेत लसीच्या पहिली बॅचची तपासणी केली जाईल. तदनंतर १०० लोकांच्या लसीकरणाचा अभ्यास केल्यानंतर लस रूग्णालयात उपलब्ध करवून देण्यात येईल. या प्रक्रियेला जवळपास महिन्याभरांचा वेळ लागू शकते. जुलै महिन्याच्या अखेरपर्यंत लस लसीकरण केंद्रावर उपलब्ध होईल. ड्रग कंट्रोलर जनरल ऑफ इंडियाच्या विशेषतज्ञ कार्य समितीच्या (एसईसी) एका वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्याने दिलेल्या माहितीनूसार मॉर्डना लसीच्या उत्पादनासंबंधी औषधी निर्मात्या कंपन्यांसोबत चर्चा केली जात आहे. सिपला कंपनी मॉर्डना लसीसंबंधी सर्व बाबींवर लक्ष ठेवेल, असी माहिती वरिष्ठांकडून देण्यात आली आहे.
मुंबई : राज्य सरकारने गणेशोत्सवासाठी मार्गदर्शक तत्वे जाहीर केली आहेत. यामध्ये सार्वजनिक गणेशमूर्तीसाठी ४ फूट तर घरगुती गणेश मूर्तीसाठी २ फुटांची मर्यादा घालून देण्यात आली आहे. दरम्यान, गणेशमूर्तीच्या उंचीबाबत राज्य सरकारने मर्यादा घालून देऊ नये, अशी मागणी मूर्तीकार आणि सार्वजनिक गणेशोत्सव मंडळांकडून केली जात आहे.
गेल्यावर्षी गणेशोत्सव साधेपणाने साजरा करताना ४ फुटापर्यंत गणेशमूर्तीची उंची असावी, अशाप्रकारच्या सूचना राज्य सरकारकडून देण्यात आल्या होत्या. मात्र, यंदा अशी मूर्तींच्या उंचीबाबत मर्यादा घालू नये, अशी विनंती केली जात आहे. त्यामुळे गणेश मूर्तीकार आणि मंडळांनी यंदा गणेशमूर्तीच्या उंचीवर बंधने नकोत, अशी भूमिका घेतल्याने राज्य सरकारच्या या निर्णयाचे काय पडसाद उमटतात, याकडे सर्वांच्या नजरा लागल्या आहेत.
गणेशोत्सव साजरा करण्याबाबत मार्गदर्शक सूचना
♦गणेशोत्सवाबाबत परवानगी घेणे अपेक्षित.
♦ कोरोना संसर्ग पाहून गणेशोत्सव साधेपणाने साजरा करावा.
♦ सांस्कृतिक उपक्रमाऐवजी आरोग्य कार्यक्रम राबवावेत
♦ सार्वजनिक गणेशमूर्ती ४ फूट आणि घरगुती गणेश मूर्तीची उंची २ फूट असावी
♦ विसर्जन कृञिम तलावात करावे, शक्यतो शाडूच्या मातीची मूर्ती ठेवावी.
♦ नागरिक देतील ती वर्गणी स्वीकारावी.
♦ शक्यतो मंडप परिसरात होणारी गर्दी टाळावी.
♦आरती, भजन, किर्तन या दरम्यान होणारी गर्दी टाळावी.
♦ नागरिकांची गर्दी होऊ नये या अनुषंगाने गणपतीचे दर्शन ऑनलाईन पद्धतीने ठेवावे.
♦ गणपती मंडपात निर्जंतुकीकरण आणि थर्मल स्क्रिनिंगची पर्याप्त व्यवस्था करण्यात यावी.
नवी दिल्ली : देशांतर्गत बनवण्यात येणा-या कोव्हॅक्सिन तसेच कोव्हिशील्ड या दोन्ही लसी कोरोना संसर्गासंबंधी चिंता वाढवणा-या डेल्टा व्हेरियंटवर प्रभावी असल्याची दिलासादायक माहिती भारतीय वैद्यकीय संशोधन परिषदेकडून (आयसीएमआर) देण्यात आली आहे. या दोन्ही लसी कोरोना संसर्गाच्या अल्फा, बीटा, गामा तसेच डेल्टा व्हेरियंटवर प्रभावी असल्याचा दावा सरकारकडून करण्यात आला आहे.
कोरोनाच्या डेल्टा प्लस व्हेरियंटवर प्रयोगशाळेत चाचण्या केल्या जात आहे. या चाचण्यांचे अहवाल येत्या ७ ते १० दिवसांमध्ये येतील,असे केंद्र सरकारकडून सांगण्यात आले आहे. देशात डेल्टा प्लस व्हेरियंटने चिंता वाढवली आहे. तुर्त या व्हेरियंटने ग्रस्त रूग्णांची संख्या कमी असली तरी संख्या दररोज वाढत आहे.
जगभरातून समोर येत असलेल्या माहितीनूसार विविध लसींची कोरोना संसर्गाच्या नवीन व्हेरियंटला निष्प्रभावी करण्याची क्षमता घटत चालली आहे. पंरतु, कोव्हॅक्सिन डेल्टा व्हेरियंटवरही प्रभावी आहे.या व्हेरियंटमध्ये संसर्गाविरोधात लढताना प्रतिपिंडाची निर्मीती थोड्या प्रमाणात होत असल्याचे आयसीएमआरचे महासंचालक बलराम भार्गव यांनी दिली. कोव्हीशील्ड लस घेसणा-यांमध्ये देखील या व्हेरियंट विरोधात प्रतीपिंड तयार होत असल्याचे दिसून आले आहे. सोबत या लसी अल्फा, बीटा, गामा आणि डेल्टा व्हेरियंटला निष्क्रिय करण्यात यशस्वी ठरत असल्याचे भार्गव म्हणाले.
कोरोना विषाणूचा डेल्टा प्लस व्हेरियंट आतापर्यंत जगातील १२ देशांमध्ये आढळला आहे. देशात १२ राज्यांमध्ये या व्हेरियंटनेग्रस्त ५१ रूग्ण आढळले आहेत. पंरतु, या व्हेरियंटने संसर्ग वेगाने पसरत असल्याचे अद्याप दिसून आलेले नाही. ऑक्टोबर २०२० मध्ये पहिल्यांदा महाराष्ट्रात डेल्टा व्हेरियंट आढळला होता. महाराष्ट्रात आढळलेल्या एकूण कोरोनाबाधितांपैकी ६०% रूग्ण या व्हेरियंटने ग्रस्त असल्याचे फेब्रुवारीत दिसून आले होते. हा व्हेरियंट जगातील ८५ देशांमध्ये आतापर्यंत आढळला आहे.
नागपूर : म्युकरमायकोसिसवर प्रभावी असलेले ‘अॅम्फोटेरिसिन बी लायपोसोमल’ या इंजेक्शनमुळे मेडिकलमधील रुग्णांना ‘रिअॅक्शन’ आली आहे. मेडिकल प्रशासनाने या इंजेक्शनच्या वापरावर बंदी आणली आहे. विशेष म्हणजे, औरंगाबाद येथील मेडिकलमध्येही असाच प्रकार घडल्याने त्या ‘बॅच’च्याही इंजेक्शनवर बंदी आणली आहे.
प्राप्त माहितीनुसार, २३ जून रोजी ‘एलबीडी १४८’ या बॅच क्रमांकाचे ‘लायका लॅबोटरीज्’चे ‘अॅम्फोटेरिसिन बी’चा मोठा साठा मेडिकलला मिळाला. परंतु इंजेक्शन दिल्यानंतर रुग्णांना थंडी वाजून ताप, मळमळणे आदी लक्षणे दिसून आलीत. २५ तारखेला पुन्हा याच इंजेक्शनचा नवा स्टॉक आला असतानाही रुग्णांना तीच लक्षणे दिसून येताच मेडिकल प्रशासनाने २६ तारखेला इंजेक्शन वापरावर बंदी आणली.
