Nagpur : Raisoni Natioanl Student Parliament Program inaugurated by the film actor Boman Irani along with the former MP Ajay sancheti and general secretary of BJP Bhupendra yadav on Friday 2019. This is 6th edition of the NSP that was organised with fervour.
While intracting with student Boman irani said,” Perform as per your desire and do it with through whills and passion, even if you get success, your work should be remained the same way you started your career.”

भांडेवाडी येथील बायोमायनिंग प्रकल्पाचे भूमिपूजन करताना मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी, पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे व अन्य मान्यवर.
नागपूर : घनकचऱ्यापैकी १० लाख मेट्रिक टन कचरा साचलेले भांडेवाडी पुढील तीन वर्षांत बायोमायनिंग प्रकल्पाच्या माध्यमातून कचरामुक्त होईल. केंद्र व राज्य शासन पुरस्कृत स्वच्छ भारत मिशन अंतर्गत साचलेल्या कचऱ्याचे बायोमायनिंग करून शास्त्रोक्त पद्धतीने विल्हेवाट लावण्यात येणार आहे. तीन वर्षानंतर या २२ हेक्टर जागेवर उद्यान, घरे किंवा कुठलाही प्रकल्प निर्माण करता येईल, असा विश्वास मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी दिला.
भांडेवाडी येथील कचऱ्यावर बायोमायनिंगच्या माध्यमातून प्रक्रिया करण्याच्या प्रकल्पाचे भूमिपूजन आणि पूर्व नागपुरातील झोपडपट्टीधारकांना मालकी हक्काचे पट्टे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस आणि केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या हस्ते करण्यात आले. यावेळी ते बोलत होते. केडीके महाविद्यलयासमोरील मार्गावर आयोजित कार्यक्रमात मंचावर मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी, ऊर्जामंत्री तथा नागपूर जिल्ह्याचे पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे, आमदार कृष्णा खोपडे, आमदार अनिल सोले, आमदार सुधाकर कोहळे, जिल्हाधिकारी अश्विन मुदगल, मनपा आयुक्त अभिजीत बांगर, नागपूर सुधार प्रन्यासच्या सभापती शीतल उगले उपस्थित होते.
पुढे बोलताना मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस म्हणाले, बायोमायनिंगमुळे भांडेवाडी येथील सुमारे २२ हेक्टर जागा कचरामुकञत होईल. अशा प्रकारचा प्रकल्प राबविणारे नागपूर हे राज्यात पहिले शहर ठरले आहे. या प्रकल्पामुळे परिसरातील प्रदूषण कमी होईल. मागील अनेक वर्षांपासून कचऱ्याच्या दुर्गंधीपासून आणि रोगाच्या प्रादुर्भावापासून परिसरातील नागरिकांची सुटका होईल. स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण जरी स्पर्धा असली तरी यामाध्यमातून नागरिकांना चांगली सवय लागावी, हाच हेतू आहे. यंदा स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षणात नागपूर शहर प्रथम यावे, असे आपणास वाटते. लोकसहभागामुळे हे शक्य आहे. आपला परिसर स्वच्छ ठेवा आणि स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षणात स्वच्छतेचे वारकरी व्हा, असे आवाहन त्यांनी यावेळी केले.
मालकी हक्काचे पट्टे वाटपासंदर्भात बोलताना मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस म्हणाले, पूर्वी प्रत्येक नेत्याने ‘गरिबी हटाव’ असा नारा दिला. परंतु, नेमके काय करायचे, हे कुणालाच समजले नाही. गरीबाला किमान जमिनीचा हक्क दिला तर तो विकास करू शकतो. आमचे सरकार येताच पट्टेवाटपातील अडचणी दूर करण्याचे ठरविले. १७ नोव्हेंबर २०१८ रोजी हा निर्णय घेतला. त्यात ज्या-ज्या त्रुट्या होत्या, त्या वेळोवेळी शासन आदेशात दुरुस्ती करून दूर केल्या. या निर्णयामुळे ग्रामीण भागात सुमारे १० लाख गरीबांना हक्काचे घर मिळणार आहे. शहरी भागातील आकडाही तेवढाच आहे. या निर्णयामुळे दुखावलेले अनेकजण खोटं सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न करतील. मात्र, त्यावर विश्वास ठेवू नका. शेवटच्या माणसापर्यंत या निर्णयाचा लाभ मिळेपर्यंत काम बंद होणार नाही, असा विश्वास त्यांनी यावेळी दिला. नागपुरात ५० हजार गरिबांसाठी घरे बांधण्याचा निर्णय घेतला असल्याचे त्यांनी यावेळी सांगितले.
आमदार कृष्णा खोपडे यांनी यावेळी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस आणि केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांचे आभार मानत पट्टेवाटपाचा निर्णय घेतल्याबद्दल जनतेच्या वतीने त्यांचे अभिनंदन केले. यामुळे गेल्या कित्येक वर्षांपासून हक्कासाठी लढणाऱ्या झोपडपट्टीवासीयांना न्याय मिळाल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले. प्रास्ताविक नासुप्रच्या सभापती शीतल उगले यांनी केले. संचालन महेंद्र राऊत यांनी केले.
आमचे राजकारण विकासाचे : ना. गडकरी
यावेळी बोलताना केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी म्हणाले, आम्ही जात, पात, पंथ, धर्म बघून कधीच राजकारण केले नाही. ज्यांनी मत दिले त्यांनाही आणि ज्यांनी मत दिले नाही त्यांच्यासाठीही कार्य केले. गरीबाला धर्म, पंथ नसतो. विकासाच्या कामात कधीच भेदभाव केला नाही. आम्ही केवळ सेवा केली आणि विकासाचे राजकारण केले. मानवतेच्या दृष्टिकोनातून सेवा केली. २० हजार कोंटीचा मेट्रो प्रकल्प आकार घेत आहे. आचारसंहितेपूर्वी नागपूरचे विमानतळ आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ बनणार आहे. अंबाझरी, तेलंगखेडी, शुक्रवारी तलावातील पाण्यावर विमान उतरविण्याचे आपले स्वप्न आहे. नंदनवन परिसरात पूर्वी अंधार होता. रस्ते नव्हते. आता येथे वीजही आली. सीमेंटचे रस्ते बनले. आता या परिसरातील प्रत्येक झोपडपट्टीधारकाला जमिनीचा अधिकार बहाल करताना अभिमान वाटतो आहे. विकासाचा रथ यापुढेही वेगात धावेल, असा विश्वास त्यांनी दिला.
३५ हजार नागपूरकरांना लाभ : ना. बावनकुळे
१७ नोव्हेंबर २०१८ चा शासन आदेश हा आतापर्यंतचा सर्वोत्कृष्ट आहे. यामुळे एकट्या नागपुरातील सुमारे ३५ हजार झोपडपट्टीधारकांना मालकी हक्काचे पट्टे मिळणार आहे. मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी उपराजधानीचा दर्जा असलेल्या नागपूर शहराला रखडलेले ३५० कोटींचे विशेष अनुदान मिळवून दिले. जीएसटीची तूट भरून काढीत ४० कोटी प्रति महिना अतिरिक्त देण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. राज्य शासन प्रत्येकाच्या हिताचे निर्णय घेत आहे. स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण सुरू आहे. यात आता नागपूरला पहिल्या १० स्वच्छ शहरांच्या यादीत स्थान मिळवून देण्यासाठी आता नागरिकांनी पुढाकार घ्यावा, असे आवाहन त्यांनी यावेळी केले.
४५ जणांना प्रातिनिधिक स्वरूपात पट्टेवाटप

नागपूर : नागपूर शहर संपूर्ण देशात विकासाचे मॉडेल म्हणून पुढे येत आहे. शहरात सर्वत्र सुरू असलेल्या विकास कामांमुळे देशपातळीवर नागपूर शहराने आपली वेगळी छाप सोडली आहे. नागपूरच्या विकासावाटा दर्शविणा-या रामझुल्याच्या दुस-या टप्प्याचे शुक्रवारी (ता. १८) मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या हस्ते थाटात लोकार्पण करण्यात आले. या उडाण पुलामुळे नागपूरकरांची अनेक वर्षांची मागणी पूर्ण झाली असून या पुलामुळे रेल्वे स्टेशनलगतच्या जयस्तंभ चौकामधील वाहतूक कोंडीचा प्रश्न सुटून नागरिकांना मोठा दिलासा मिळणार आहे. शुक्रवार (ता. १८)पासून रामझुला वाहतुकीसाठी खुला करण्यात आला.

पुर्वीच्या अस्तित्वातील १०० वर्ष जुन्या कमानी पुलाऐवजी नवीन ६ पदरी नवीन रेल्वे उडाण पूल बांधण्याच्या सुधारित प्रस्तावास रेल्वे विभागाने मंजुरी प्रदान केली. त्यानुसार सुधारित प्रस्तावाप्रमाणे बांधकामासाठी ६९.६२ कोटी खर्च आला आहे. नागपूर शहर एकात्मिक योजनेमध्ये संत्रा मार्केट येथील सहा पदरी केबल स्टेड रेल्वे उडाण पुलाचे काम समाविष्ट असून यासाठी ३५० कोटी रूपये खर्चाची योजना बांधा, वापरा व हस्तांतरीत करा या तत्वावर मंजुर केली होती.
नागपूर शहर एकात्मिक रस्ते विकास योजनेच्या ५१७.३६ कोटी रकमेच्या सुधारित अंदाजपत्रकास शासनाने नुकतीच मंजुरी प्रदान केली आहे. जुना रेल्वे उडाण पूल तोडण्याचे काम अत्याधुनिक तंत्रज्ञानाचा उपयोग करून पूर्ण करण्यात आले. यामध्ये सुमारे १३० टन क्षमतेची क्रेन तसेच वायर सॉ यांचा उपयोग करून पुलाचा प्रत्येक भाग कापून वरचेवर क्रेनने काढण्यात आला. हे काम करताना खाली असणाऱ्या रेल्वे वाहतुकीवर कोणताही परिणाम होणार नाही याची दक्षता घेण्यात आली.
राज्यात अशा स्वरूपाचे केबल स्टेड उड्डाण पूल असून वांद्रे वरळी सागरी सेतू आणि संत्रा मार्केट उड्डाण पुलाचा समावेश आहे. दोन्ही पूल रस्ते विकास महामंडळाने बांधले आहेत. या कामाचे कंत्राट मे ॲफकॉन्स इन्फ्रा. लि. मुंबई यांची असून मे. राईटस् लि. नागपूर प्रकल्प सल्लागार व्यवस्थापक आहेत. पुलाची एकूण लांबी (पोचमार्गासह) ६०६.७४२ मीटर असून केबल स्टेड पुलाची लांबी २०० मीटर एवढी आहे. या कामाची सुधारित मंजूर किंमत ६९.६२ कोटी एवढी आहे.
Melbourne : Legspinner Yuzvendra Chahal took a record 6-42 to propel India to a seven-wicket win over Australia in the third one-day cricket international and a 2-1 win in the three-match series on Friday.
Chahal’s return was not only a career-best, beating his 5-22 against South Africa, but matched the best figures in an ODI in Australia, a record held since 2004 by his compatriot, India fast bowler Ajit Aragkar.
Chahal, who missed the first two ODIs, helped India to bowl out Australia for only 230 after captain Virat Kohli won the toss on a rainy afternoon in Melbourne.
After fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar removed both Australia openers, Chahal ran through the middle and lower order to end the innings with eight balls left in their 50 overs.
NAGPUR : State’s rural development department (RDD) is planning to boost egg production in state by replicating Amul dairy products model. The department sees a gap in demand and supply of eggs, which it feels could be bridged by boosting poultry farming in the state.
According to estimates with the department, as against a demand of 3 crore eggs per day, the production was only 75 lakh in Maharashtra. Close to 60,000 women’s self help groups (SHGs) are estimated to be engaged in poultry business across the state.
The state’s ‘yellow revolution plan’ calls for collecting production and also assuring a market for eggs. RDD would act as an aggregator which would link the farmers and buyers. There are plans for official announcement on January 23, said Aseem Gupta, secretary RDD. He was in the city to attend a seminar on food processing sector organized by Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA). The scheme will target women SHGs.
“The idea is to do away with market intermediaries so that the SHGs get right price for the produce. Poultry farming is is one of the most preferred allied agriculture activity, and a large number of SHGs are into it. Despite a huge demand, major supplies, come from neighbouring Telangana,” said Gupta.
नागपूर : नागरिकांच्या समस्या जाणून घेऊन त्या लवकरात लवकर दूर करण्याच्या दृष्टीने महापौर आपल्या दारी उपक्रमाची सुरूवात करण्यात आली आहे. त्यामुळे नागरिकांना भेडसावणाऱ्या समस्यांवर तातडीने त्वरीत कार्यवाही करा, असे निर्देश महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी विविध विभागांच्या अधिकाऱ्यांना दिले.
‘महापौर आपल्या दारी’ उपक्रमांतर्गत गुरूवारी (ता. १७) महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी हनुमान नगर झोनचा दौरा करून येथील नागरिकांच्या समस्या जाणून घेतल्या. यावेळी हनुमान नगर झोन सभापती रुपाली ठाकूर, जलप्रदाय समिती सभापती विजय झलके, नगरसेवक सतीश होले, डॉ. रवींद्र भोयर, भगवान मेंढे, नगरसेविका स्वाती आखतकर, विद्या मडावी, लीला हाथीबेड, उषा पॅलेट, शीतल कामडी, अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम जोशी, सहायक आयुक्त विजय हुमने, हनुमान नगर झोनचे सहायक आयुक्त राजू भिवगडे यांच्यासह ओसीडब्ल्यूचे कर्मचारी व संबंधित विभागांचे अधिकारी प्रामुख्याने उपस्थित होते.
महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी गुरूवारी (ता. १७) हनुमान नगर झोनमधील प्रभाग २९ व ३१ अंतर्गत म्हाळगी नगर, न्यू म्हाळगी नगर, नरसाळा, गायत्री नगर झोपडपट्टी, रेशीमबाग, बुधवार बाजार, सोमवारी क्वॉर्टर आदी ठिकाणी भेट देऊन नागरिकांच्या समस्यांचा आढावा घेतला.
प्रारंभी महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी मनपाच्या हनुमान नगर झोन कार्यालयातील विविध विभागांच्या कामाची पाहणी केली. म्हाळगी नगर येथील पाण्याच्या टाकीजवळील मार्गाची दुरवस्था झाली असल्याने या ठिकाणी रस्ता बांधकाम करण्याची मागणी नागरिकांच्या वतीने करण्यात आली. यासंबंधी आवश्यक प्रक्रिया तातडीने पूर्ण करून याबाबत कार्यवाही करण्याचे महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी निर्देशित केले. झोनमधील विविध भागांमध्ये टँकरद्वारे पिण्याचे पाणी पुरविले जाते. मात्र टाकीवर पाणी भरताना बरेच पाणी वाया जात असल्याचे यावेळी निदर्शनास आले. पाणी व्यर्थ जाऊ नये यासाठी योग्य अंमलबजावणी करण्याचे निर्देशही महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी यावेळी दिले.

म्हाळगी नगर येथील शिवाजी कॉलनीमध्ये महानगरपालिकेच्या मोकळ्या भूखंडावर अतिक्रमण करण्यात आले आहे. त्यामुळे परिसरात नेहमी असामाजिक तत्त्वांचा वावर असतो. सदर जागेवरील अतिक्रमण हटविण्याबाबतच्या कार्यवाहीचा यावेळी महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी आढावा घेतला. येथील अतिक्रमण हटविण्यासाठी पोलिस प्रशासनाची मदत घेऊन येत्या २२जानेवारीला कारवाई करण्याचे त्यांनी निर्देशित केले. अतिक्रमित जागेवर नागरिकांसाठी ‘वॉकिंग ट्रॅक’, ग्रीन जिम व सुरक्षा भिंत तयार करण्याची मागणी यावेळी परिसरातील नागरिकांनी केली. यासंबंधीचा प्रस्ताव सादर करण्याचे निर्देश महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी दिले. याच परिसरात असलेल्या विहिरीमध्ये कचरा टाकण्यात येत असल्याने विहिरीची अवस्था अत्यंत वाईट झाली आहे. या विहिरीला रंग देऊन येथील पाणी उद्यानांसाठी वापरणे तसेच विहिरीमध्ये कचरा टाकला जाऊ नये यासाठी जाळी बसविण्याचेही महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी निर्देशित केले.
नरसाळा मार्गावर एलईडी विद्युत दिवे लावण्याची मागणी यावेळी नागरिकांच्या वतीने करण्यात आली. मे महिन्यापर्यंत संपूर्ण शहरामध्ये एलईडी विद्युत दिवे लावण्याचे लक्ष्य असून त्या अंतर्गत लवकरच एलईडी दिवे लावण्यात येणार असल्याचे महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी सांगितले. जगनाडे चौकातील गायत्री नगर झोपडपट्टी तसेच रेशीमबाग येथेही महापौरांनी दौरा करून नागरिकांच्या समस्या जाणून घेतल्या. बुधवार बाजार येथे पाण्याच्या टाकीजवळच कनक रिसोर्सेसचे डम्पिंग यार्ड असल्याने नागरिकांना त्रास सहन करावा लागतो. डम्पिंग यार्डसाठी पर्यायी जागा निर्धारित करून त्या ठिकाणी डम्पिंग यार्ड हलविणे तसेच सेफ्टी टँकरवर प्रसाधनगृहाचे बांधकाम असल्याने या ठिकाणी गडर लाईन टाकण्याबाबत लवकरात लवकर कार्यवाही करण्याचे महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी निर्देशित केले. सोमवारी क्वॉर्टर येथील मनपा शाळेच्या इमारतीचा योग्य वापर करून सुसज्ज अशी डॉ.ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम अभ्यासिका व मोफत कौशल्य विकास प्रशिक्षण केंद्र तयार करण्यात आले आहे. या अभ्यासिकेच्या निर्मितीबद्दल महापौरांनी पदाधिकाऱ्यांचे अभिनंदन करून विद्यार्थ्यांशी संवाद साधला.
नागपूर : संत्रानगरी म्हणून जागतिक स्तरावर आपले नाव लौकीक करणा-या नागपूर शहराची आपल्या नवसंकल्पनांच्या बळावर मान उंचावणा-यांची आपल्या शहरात कमी नाही. त्यांना योग्य व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध करून देउन त्यांच्या नवसंकल्पनांचा उपयोग समाजात परिवर्तन आणण्यासाठी करून देण्याची आज गरज आहे. हाच उद्देश ठेवित यंदा ‘महापौर इनोव्हेशन अवार्ड २०१९’ आयोजित करण्यात येत आहे. या उपक्रमाद्वारे नागपूर शहरामध्ये ‘इनोव्हेशन’ची चळवळ निर्माण होईल, असा विश्वास महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी व्यक्त केला.
स्मार्ट सिटी अंतर्गत महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांच्या संकल्पनेतून ‘महापौर इनोव्हेशन अवार्ड २०१९’चे आयोजन करण्यात येत आहे. या अंतर्गत ‘मेयर इनोव्हेशन काउंसिल’च्या कार्यालयाचे गुरुवारी (ता. १७) महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांच्या हस्ते उद्धाटन झाले. यावेळी महापौर बोलत होत्या.

NAGPUR : Saurabh Shah, aged around one-and-half year old, succumbed to his injuries after suffering a fall from the terrace situated on the second floor of his residence at Gangabagh pardi on Wednesday. The boy’s mother had rushed to grab him from behind as he was toppling but in vain.
Family sources claimed mother was getting her elder son Sachin, a student of KG-II, ready for tuition classes when she saw Saurabh trying to climb the low-railing of the terrace. She couldn’t save Saurabh as he fell on his side face and head after getting hit near his back on the way down on a shade.
Saurabh was rushed to a local hospital where the doctors declared him dead. Kalamna police have registered a case of accidental death.
The first look poster of Total Dhamaal has been unveiled, along with the announcement that the trailer will be launched on 21 January.
Ajay Devgn shared the poster and described it as “the wildest adventure ever”. Anil Kapoor described the film as a “ride will be full of fun and madness”.

Total Dhamaal is the third film in the comedy entertainer franchise Dhamaal. The second film was Double Dhamaal. It is directed by Inder Kumar. Initially scheduled to hit cinemas in December 2018, the release date was shifted to 22 February, and it will now release alongside Kangana Ranaut-Rajkummar Rao-starrer Mental Hai Kya.

नागपुर : महाराष्ट्र के नागपुर यूनिवर्सिटी के अपने 105 साल पुरानी दीक्षांत समारोह की परंपरा को इस बार तोड़ दिया है। यूनिवर्सिटी में इस बार छात्र अंग्रेजी गाउन नहीं बल्कि देसी परिधानों में नजर आएंगे। लड़कों के लिए जोधपुरी सूट, धोती कुर्ता या चूड़ीदार पायजामा ड्रेस निर्धारित की है। वहीं लड़कियां सफेद साड़ी में स्कार्फ लगाई हुई नजर आएंगी।
यूनिवर्सिटी का 106वां दीक्षांत समारोह शनिवार को सुरेश भट्ट ऑडिटोरियम में आयोजित किया जा रहा है। नागपुर यूनिवर्सिटी राज्य की चौथी यूनिवर्सिटी है जिसने दीक्षांत समारोह में अंग्रेजों के जमाने से चले आ रहे ड्रेस कोड को न बोल दिया है। इसके साथ ही इस बार का दीक्षांत समारोह एक बात को लेकर और खास है। वह है इसमें राज्यपाल का आना। वीसी ने बताया कि अंतिम बार 25 जुलाई 2009 को हुए दीक्षांत समारोह में राज्यपाल एससी जमीर शामिल हुए थे।
विद्यासागर राव को महाराष्ट्र का राज्यपाल बने तीन साल बीत गए लेकिन वह भी पहली बार यूनिवर्सिटी में आएंगे। यूनिवर्सिटी के एक पूर्व वीसी ने कहा कि राज्यपाल यूनिवर्सिटी के चांसलर होते हैं। उन्हें हर सीनेट मीटिंग में आना चाहिए लेकिन यूनिवर्सिटी के कार्य उनकी प्राथमिकता लिस्ट में नहीं होते हैं।
नागपूर : कळमन्यातील टायर गोदामात झालेल्या चोरीचा पर्दाफाश करीत गुन्हेशाखेच्या युनिट तीनने आंतरराज्यीय टायर चोरांच्या टोळीला अटक केली. त्यांच्याकडून सहा लाखांच्या टायरसह १६ लाखांचे साहित्य जप्त करण्यात आले.
मोहम्मद तौसिफ ऊर्फ बाबू मोहम्मद साबिर (वय २६), के. अहमद अकील अहमद (वय ४६), खातिब अहमद रफीक अहमद (वय ४२) व मोहम्मद शाकीर मोहम्मद जुम्मा (वय ३६),अशी अटकेतील चोरट्यांची नावे आहेत. या टोळीचा प्रमुख बाबू हा आहे.
४ जानेवारीला कळमन्यातील मोहित खुराणा यांचे ट्रक टायर शोरूम व गोदाम फोडून चोरट्यांनी ४१ टायर चोरी केले होते. याप्रकरणी कळमना पोलिसांनी घरफोडीचा गुन्हा दाखल केला. गुन्हे शाखेचे उपायुक्त संभाजी कदम व सहायक पोलिस आयुक्त संजीव कांबळे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली पोलिस निरीक्षक जग्वेंद्रसिंग राजपूत, सहायक पोलिस निरीक्षक योगेश चौधरी,उपनिरीक्षक माधव शिंदे, हेडकॉन्स्टेबल रफिक खान, शैलेश पाटील, विट्ठल नासरे, अरुण धर्मे, दयाशंकर बिसांद्रे, राकेश यादव, हरीश बावने व विकास पाठक यांनी या टायर चोरीचा समांतर तपास सुरू केला.
टायर चोरी करून ट्रक भंडारा मार्गाकडे गेल्याचे निष्पन्न झाले. गुन्हे शाखा पोलिसांनी टोलनाक्यावर सीसीटीव्ही फूटेजही पाहणी केली. ट्रकचा क्रमांक मिळवला. आरटीओत तपासणी केली असता तो मोटरसायकलचा असल्याचे समोर आले. दरम्यान, खवासा येथील आरटीओच्या चेकपोस्टवर ट्रकची संपूर्ण तपासणी होत असल्याने चोरट्यांनी ट्रकला यूपी-२१-बीएन-६००३ या क्रमांची नंबरप्लेट लावली होती. तपासणीनंतर ट्रक उत्तरप्रदेशात गेला. याचदरम्यान गुन्हे शाखेचे पथक खवासा येथे गेले.
चौकशीदरम्यान ट्रकचा क्रमांक पोलिसांना मिळाला. बाबू याच्या मालकीचा ट्रक असल्याचे निष्पन्न झाले. पोलिसांचे पथक उत्तर प्रदेशात धडकले. बाबूच्या घरी छापा टाकून त्याला अटक केली. बाबूच्या माहितीवरून टोळीतील अन्य सदस्यांना अटक करण्यात आली. या टोळीने पंजाब, बिहार, राजस्थान व कन्नोज येथील टायरचे शोरूम व गोदाम फोडून चोरी केल्याचे समोर आले आहे. राजस्थानमधील एका चोरीच्या प्रकरणात या टोळीतील सदस्यांना पाच वर्षांची शिक्षा झाली होती. काही दिवसांपूर्वीच शिक्षा संपल्याने सदस्य कारागृहातून बाहेर आले होते,असे कळते.
Nagpur: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat lamented on Thursday though there was no war going on, soldiers were still dying on the borders. It was happening as “we are not doing our job properly”, he said at a function to mark silver jubilee of the Prahaar Samaaj Jagruti Sanstha in Nagpur.
He said it was time to sacrifice life for the country before India gained freedom. After Independence, one had to do it on the borders when there was a war, the RSS chief said. (But) in our country there is no war (at the moment), still people (soldiers) are getting martyred….because we are not doing our job properly,” he said.
“Otherwise, if there is no war then there is no reason why a soldier should die on the border. But it is happening,” he said, adding steps must be taken as a society to stop it and “make the country great”. He said people have to strive all the time to make one’s country great. “Everybody has to strive… this is not something for which we can give contract to somebody. (We rest easy thinking) the government will do it, police will do it, the Army will do it, but it’s not like that, entire society has to make efforts,” Bhagwat said.
Nagpur : Preparations for the two-day national convention of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Scheduled Caste Cell to be held in city from January 19, are in final leg. The two-day meet will be held at Deshpande Hall.
About 4,000 party activists including couple of Union Ministers, over 40 Members of Parliament (MP), 150 legislators, Mayors, corporators, from across the country will converge for the national meet, stated Sudhakar Kohale, MLA, and President, BJP, Nagpur city unit. He was addressing a press conference at Patrakar Club on Thursday.
Kohale said, all arrangements are almost done and national executive of Scheduled Caste Cell will be meeting at MLA Hostel on Friday at 5 pm ahead of the two-day convention to be chaired by Vinod Sonarkar, MP, National President of the cell. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the meet on January 19 at 12 noon. Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Thewarchand Gehlot, Krishna Raj, and party’s General Secretary Bhupendra Yadav will also be present at the meet. On January 20, ‘Vijayi Sankalp Sabha 2019’ will be held at Kasturchand Park at 3 pm. Chief Minister Fadnavis, Nitin Gadkari and other national leaders of BJP will address the public meet, he added.
BJP city unit has constituted several sub-committees for the two-day meet. The inauguration function will be held at Deshpande Hall campus where a big dome has been erected. Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule and his cabinet colleague Rajkumar Badole are named as Chairman of Reception Committee.
Other local leaders also have been entrusted work for the meet, including accommodation, receiving of guests etc. Former Mayor Pravin Datke has been entrusted responsibility of the public meet scheduled on January 20. BJP SC Cell Vice-President Ashok Mendhe, Adv Dharampal Meshram, corporator, Dayashankar Tiwari and others also were present at the press conference.
नागपूर : ताडोबा अंधारी व्याघ्र प्रकल्पांमध्ये व्हीआयपी कोटय़ातून पर्यटकांना प्रवेश देण्याकरिता नियमावली तयार करण्यात आली आहे. ही नियमावली उच्च न्यायालयाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठात सादर करण्यात आली. त्यावर न्या. रवि देशपांडे आणि न्या. विनय जोशी यांनी शिक्कामोर्तब केले व ताडोबात व्हीआयपी कोटय़ाचा गैरवापर होत असल्याचा दावा करणारी याचिका निकाली काढली.
सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते अविनाश विनायक प्रभुणे यांनी ही जनहित याचिका दाखल केली होती. त्यानुसार एप्रिल ते डिसेंबर २०१५ या काळात ९०४ अतिरिक्त सफारी वाहने जंगलात शिरली. त्यापैकी ६४ वाहने अवैध होती. त्याशिवाय १ ऑक्टोबर २०१६ ते ६ नोव्हेंबर २०१६ या कालावधीमध्ये ८९४ व्हीआयपी वाहने व्याघप्रकल्पात गेली. या सात दिवसांमध्ये केवळ ३९७ वाहनांना प्रवेश देणे अपेक्षित होते. यावरून क्षमतेपेक्षा अधिक पर्यटक व वाहनांना व्याघ्रप्रकल्पात अवैधपणे प्रवेश दिला जातो, हे स्पष्ट होते. त्यामुळे वन, वन्यजीव आणि पर्यावरणाची मोठी हानी होते. या प्रकरणाची चौकशी करून संबंधितांविरुद्ध कारवाई करण्यात यावी.
तसेच सफारीसंदर्भात एनटीसीए आणि सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने घालून दिलेल्या दिशानिर्देशांचे पालन करण्यात यावे, अशी विनंती त्यांनी याचिकेत केली होती. त्यावर ४ जुलै २०१८ न्यायालयाने आठ आठवडय़ात धोरण ठरण्याचे आदेश वनविभागाला दिले होते. त्यानंतर वनविभागाला पुन्हा मुदतवाढ मिळाली. अखरे हे धोरण ठरले व नियमावली तयार करण्यात आली. ही नियमावली उच्च न्यायालयात सादर करण्यात आली. न्यायालयाने समाधान व्यक्त करून याचिका निकाली काढली. तसेच याचिकाकर्त्यांस नवीन नियमावलीला नवीन याचिकेद्वारा आव्हान देण्याची मुभा दिली. याचिकाकर्त्यांतर्फे अॅड. तुषार मंडलेकर आणि राज्य सरकारतर्फे अॅड. शिषिर उके यांनी बाजू मांडली.

Nagpur : The Maharashtra government along with the Centre will start a dedicated modern sports academy to train sportspersons from the police department so that they can compete at national and global levels, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Wednesday.
He said the state government is also committed to general welfare of the police force.
Fadnavis was speaking at the opening ceremony of ‘31st Maharashtra State Police Sports competition‘ here in Nagpur.
The state government seriously stands behind the police department and its welfare related to housing and education of their children, among other things, said Fadnavis, who also holds the Home department.
The government has taken several decisions for the benefit of police personnel and will come out with more such measures, he said.
Fadnavis said international standard sportspersons should come out from the police department and for this good training facilities will be provided to them.
“I want to assure that the state government along with the central government will start a dedicated sports academy for the police department.
“The academy will have excellent training facilities for police sportspersons,” he said.

नागपूर : स्वच्छ भारत अभियानात रेल्वेचाही समावेश असला तरी रेल्वे प्रवाशांना विदर्भ एक्स्प्रेसच्या वातानुकूलित डब्यात उष्टे अन्न आणि दुर्गंधीला सामोरे जावे लागले. नागपुरातून मुंबईकडे गाडी रवाना होण्यापूर्वीच या बाबीकडे रेल्वे प्रशासनाचे लक्ष वेधण्यात आले. मात्र, डब्याची स्वच्छता होण्यास पुलगावपर्यंत प्रवास करावा लागला.
गोंदिया ते नागपूर विदर्भ एक्स्प्रेसच्या एससी- २ बोगीमध्ये नागपुरातील काही प्रवासी चढले. त्यावेळीच डब्यातील स्वच्छतेची कल्पना प्रवाशांनी आली. त्यांनी तातडीने रेल्वे कंडक्टर यांना गाठून तक्रार केली. त्यांनी कंत्राटी सफाई कर्मचाऱ्यांना सूचना दिली. परंतु कोणीच डब्याची स्वच्छता करण्यास आला नाही. प्रवाशांच्या तक्रारीनंतर रेल्वेच्या स्वच्छता अभियानाची दुसरी बाजूही समोर आली. धामगावच्या जवळपास गाडी असताना सफाई कामगार आले. त्यांच्यावर कंडक्टर रागावले. परंतु २४ डब्यांच्या या गाडीत पाच सफाई कर्मचारी देखील नव्हते. कंत्राटदार जितेन माथूर यांच्याकडे या गाडीच्या सफाईची जबाबदारी आहे.
माथूर यांनी गेल्या सहा महिन्यांपासून कामगारांना वेतन दिले नाही. त्यामुळे अर्धे कामगार कामावर आले नाहीत. त्यामुळे गोंदिया येथून बसलेल्या प्रवाशांनी केलेली घाण रात्री आठ वाजेपर्यंत साफ करण्यात आली नव्हती. स्वच्छ भारत अभियानाच्या जाहिरात भलेही झळकत असतील, परंतु सफाई कामगारांना नियिमत वेतन मिळत नसल्याची बाब या निमित्ताने समोर आली. या डब्यातून झोनल रेल्वे युजर्स कन्सलटेटिव्ह कमिटी सदस्य सतीश यादव प्रवास देखील प्रवास करीत होते. नागपूर, वर्धा येथील एकूण नऊ सदस्य विदर्भ एक्सप्रेसने मुंबईला जात होते. त्यांनी स्वच्छतेबाबत तक्रारी केली. दुर्गंधी येत असल्याने जेवणाची इच्छा झाली नाही. तक्रारीनंतरही कित्येक तास सफाई झाली नाही. त्यामुळे रेल्वे प्रवाशांना त्रास सहन करावा लागला.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी स्वच्छता चालवला आहे. त्यासाठी कोटय़वधी रुपये खर्च करण्यात आले. तसेच रेल्वेही या अभियानात अग्रेसर असल्याची जाहिरात केली. परंतु वास्तव आज आम्ही प्रवास करत असल्याने समोर आले आहे, असे सतीश यादव म्हणाले.
NAGPUR : In a major action at the start of 2019, income tax department raided five builders in Amravati city. This covers all major realtors of the town, which is second largest in Vidarbha after Nagpur. The taxmen have acted on the basis of information that the realtors were taking substantial sum in cash from buyers.
The businessmen who have been covered in the search action are — Praveen Maloo, Subash Talda, Ashish Soni, Gopal Panpaliya and Sanjay Batra. Sources say the five controlled major part of the real estate business in Amravati apart from having undertaken joint projects. For example, Palak Creation of Batra had a joint venture with Govinda Group of Talda. All the five have had joint projects at some time or other. A couple of brokers too have been covered in the action.
The taxmen had been keeping a close watch on their activities and it was found that a substantial amount of consideration charged from the buyers was taken in cash. The taxmen have raided 20 premises belonging to these builders. The action was taken on the basis of intelligence gathered by the department on its own.
During last calender year, income tax department had sent cases related to five different assets to adjudicating authority for declaration of benami properties. The action follows after the Benami Trannsaction Act of 1988 was amended two years ago making the law more powerful. It has been learnt that out of the five properties, one is a residential flat and rest includes cash seized by police during interceptions. The process calls for giving notice to the property holder and once there is enough ground that the person does not have means to posses the asset, a case is sent to the adjudicating authority.
A decision is expected in relation to the flat soon. In rest of the cases, hearing is yet to start.
The flat is a mid-priced property, but the owner did not have resources to shell out even that much of amount for the asset. Once a property is declared benami, the income tax department can go ahead with its auction.
Over three months ago, tax sleuths had also raided Mulay Group in Aurangabad which is engaged in seed production. The investigation wing has reported that the company was booking agriculture income on which there is no tax, even as there was no land in its name. The only land it had was leasehold, taken from farmers for seed production. The seeds are purchased by the company from farmers. However, on the basis of the same land the company posted farm income in its books, said a source.
Nagpur : Radisson Blu, the five star hotel on Wardha Road in the city is bound to face penal action from the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) for serving sub-standard food to the guests.
A team of FDA officials on December 15, had collected three food samples following complaints of worms in food items by some guests. According to reports, a pharma company had organised two-day conference of its employees at Radisson Blu. On the first day, the employees complained of worms in their breakfast. The hotel administration reportedly seeking apology assured to look into the matter.
However, the episode was repeated on the second day too. The guests then lodged a complaint with the FDA in the afternoon and accordingly the FDA team reached the hotel in the evening and collected food samples.
The reports of the samples showed the paneer served at the hotel was sub-standard.
Now, the FDA will file a legal suit against Radisson Blue in the court of joint commissioner (Foods) Shashikant Kekre. According to law, the penalty can be slapped only after hearing and officials said the hotel will certainly face penal action.
Maharashtra: The fate of thousands of entertainers in Maharashtra was decided by the apex court on Thursday. The Supreme Court passed its verdict in the validity of the Maharashtra Prohibition of Obscene Dance in Hotels, Restaurants and Bar Rooms and Protection of Dignity of Women (Working therein) Act, 2016 on Thursday.
“There cannot be a total prohibition on dance bars. No licence has been granted by Maharashtra since 2005. There may be regulations but that should not amount to a total prohibition,” SC said in its verdict.
The apex court relaxed stringent conditions set by Maharashtra government for getting licences for running dance bars and upheld the time of five and half hours for dance performances.
The SC has paved the way for the opening of dance bars in Mumbai and other cities in Maharashtra, and relaxed stringent conditions imposed by the Maharashtra government for getting licences for dance bar.
The performers will be allowed on the premises of the bar and discotheques but showering of the money has been disallowed by SC. The performers can be tipped by customers though.
Nagpur : The stolen ornaments worth Rs 62,000 at a senior retired cops’ house were found in a bag at his residence itself, the Sitabuldi police said. Suspecting involvement of a servant in the incident, who had quit the job and returned to his native village in West Bengal, a police team had left for West Bengal to nab him. However, now the team will have to return empty handed.
Some three days, back, retired director general of police (DGP) Prabil Kumar Chakraborty, a resident of Zenda Square, Dharampeth had lodged a complaint of robbery of some gold and silver ornaments from the worship place of his house. The police then registered an offence and suspected involvement of one of the servants Dipak Das, who had quit the job three days before the incident.
A team of Sitabuldi police was sent to West Bengal, who contacted Dipak and enquired about the incident. Dipak reportedly denied of having any role in it and further volunteered to accompany the police to Nagpur to help them in the investigations.
Meanwhile, Chakraborty noticed a bag containing the ornaments on the fourth floor of his house. He then informed the Sitabuldi police. It is not known whether the bag was kept unknowingly or somebody kept it fearing police action.
Nagpur : The State Transport Authority (STA) has allowed Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s transport department to hike city bus fares by 25% and it may be implemented anytime this month.
“The new fares will come into effect after the final approval of RTA,” NMC’s traffic manager (transport department) Sukir Sontakke told.
The NMC has already submitted the proposal to the Regional Transport Office which has forwarded it to Regional Transport Authority headed by district collector Ashwin Mudgal. “As soon as we get the nod, the existing bus fares in 25 different slabs will be revised,” Sontakke said.
The NMC had approached the STA after the RTA partly rejected its proposal to raise fares in October last year.
As the proposed fares for Aapli bus were much higher than the maximum rates prescribed for urban transport service by the state government, the RTA had asked the NMC to get clearance from the STA based in Mumbai.
Sources in the transport department said the STA gave its nod citing a new notification by the state’s home department issued on March 31, 2018. However, the RTO in Nagpur was not aware of the revised notification and they referred the NMC’s proposal to revise fare with the old notification.
Nagpur : The second World Orange Festival will be held in the city from January 18 to 21st in the city. The festival, while offering its famed oranges to the world, will also showcase and brand the exquisite fruit in order to boost its export.
Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the festival while Union minister for road transport, highways and shipping, Nitin Gadkari will preside over the programme.
Union minister of State Hansraj Ahir, revenue minister Chandrakant Patil, finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, energy minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule and tourism minister Jaikumar Rawal will be the chief guests of the programme which will be attended by MPs and MLAs of the region.
Agricultural experts and scientists from various countries will participate in the workshops and guide farmers. Events under the festival will be held at Reshimbaug ground, South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) and Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Hall.

Recollecting the incident, she mentioned that all the procedures went smoothly at his office and once she was escorted to his office by a staff member, she was selected by a ‘friendly’ Bhushan Kumar.
She further accuses Bhushan of blackmailing her and saying he wouldn’t let her survive in the city if she opened up about the incident to anyone and being dropped off the movie for rejecting Bhushan’s offer. She even narrated the tale of how some of the girls she knew, had a scar in their life since powerful people like Bhushan used them and never offered them a film.
Bhushan has denied all the allegations against him by issuing a statement.

Sena MP from Amravati Anand Adsul announced this here on Wednesday after party’s Vidarbha in-charge Gajanan Kirtikar held a review meeting to assess the situation in all 10 Lok Sabha and 62 assembly constituencies in Vidarbha.
Asked if the party has decided to go it alone, without traditional ally BJP, Kirtikar told that a final call will be taken by Thackeray, implying that the decision could hinge on the number of seats offered by the BJP in parliamentary and state polls. Adsul also said a firm proposal for renewing the alliance was awaited from the BJP.
In 2014, the Sena and BJP were in pre-poll alliance for Lok Sabha elections, but fell apart later and fought assembly elections separately. Riding on the Modi wave that was at its peak then, Sena had managed to win four Lok Sabha seats — Amravati, Buldhana, Yavatmal-Washim and Ramtek in Vidarbha. But in keeping with its aggressive stand of not playing second fiddle to the BJP, Sena seems set to take advantage of starting an early campaign so that it could retain those four seats.

Nagpur : A two-day national convention of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Scheduled Caste (SC) wing will be held in the city on January 19 and 20th. Around 6000 representatives will attend the convention while one lakh people will be present at a public rally to be held on January 20.
The convention will be held in the presence of BJP national president Amit Shah, which will spread the message across the country, said national spokesperson of BJP Dr. Vijay Sonkar Shastri. He was addressing a press conference. MLA Bhai Girkar, president, BJP SC Morcha; Subhash Pardhi, State chief spokesman Madhav Bhandari and Keshav Upadhye were also present at the press conference.

Nagpur : A consortium of banks led by State Bank of India has agreed to provide finance for Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ pet Nagpur-Mumbai ‘Samruddhi Corridor’ expressway project, a top official said on Wednesday.
SBI has agreed to lend the highest amount, Rs 8,500 crore, said Bhushan Gagrani, principal secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office.
“Other lenders include Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of Maharashtra as well as the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India,” he said.
The estimated cost of the project, being constructed by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, is around Rs 50,000 crore, of which around Rs 26,000 crore are required for the construction of the expressway.
“We were falling short of Rs 3,000-4,000 crore to reach the target of Rs 26,000 crore. The consortium of banks has agreed to share that shortfall too. It has solved the major issue of financial support,” Gagrani said.
He added that banks believe in the financial viability of the project. Almost 95 per cent of the land acquisition is complete, Gagrani added.
Acquisition in some stretches in Amravati and Aurangabad regions is yet to be done.
The corridor will have 25 toll plazas, and the toll will be collected for 40 years.
