नागपूर : एकीकडे उन्हाचा भडाका उडालेला आहे तर दुसरीकडे लोकसभा निवडणुकीचे वातावरणदेखील तापत आहे. सर्वत्र गरमागरमीचा माहोल सुरू असतानाच घरगुती गॅस सिलिंडरचादेखील भडका उडाला आहे. गेल्या दोन महिन्यांत ४७ रुपयांची दरवाढ झाली आहे.
जानेवारी महिन्यापासून सातत्याने घरगुती गॅस सिलिंडरच्या दरामध्ये चढ-उतार दिसून आले. डिसेंबर २०१८मध्ये विनाअनुदानित गॅस सिलिंडरचे दर ८६१.८७ रुपये होते. त्यानंतर हे दर घटून जानेवारी २०१९मध्ये ७३८.४५ रुपये झाले.
फेब्रुवारीतही दर कमी होण्याची क्रम सुरू होता. पण, अचानकपणे मार्च महिन्यात दरवाढ झाली. तब्बल ४२ रुपये ५० पैशांची वाढ होत मार्चमध्ये सिलिंडरचे दर ७४७.५० रुपयांवर गेले. दरवाढीचा चढता क्रम एप्रिलमध्येही सुरू आहे. सणवार आणि लग्नसराईच्या काळात झालेली दरवाढ ग्राहकांना होरपळून टाकणारी आहे.
एप्रिल महिन्यात विनाअनुदानित गॅस सिलिंडरचे दर ७५२.८३ रुपये तर अनुदानितचे दर ५०५.०४ रुपये इतका आहे. एकूण दोन महिन्यांचा विचार करता दरामध्ये झालेली ४७ रुपयांची वाढ सामान्यांचे मासिक बजेट बिघडविणारी ठरत आहे. नवीन आर्थिक वर्षापासून गॅस सिलिंडरची दरवाढ लागू होणार आहे. करात वाढ झाल्यामुळे हे दर वाढवल्याचे तेल कंपन्यांनी सांगितले आहे.
साधारणपणे महाराष्ट्राचा विचार करता नागपुरात सिलिंडरसह सर्व इंधनांचे दर इतर शहरांपेक्षा अधिक आहेत. त्यामुळे नागपूरकर त्रस्त आहेत. अशा स्थितीत करण्यात आलेली दरवाढ नागरिकांची चिंता वाढविणारा आहे. सन २०१८मध्ये एप्रिल, सप्टेंबर आणि डिसेंबर महिना वगळता उर्वरित वर्षभर सिलिंडरचे दर सातत्याने वाढत राहिले आहेत.
Nagpur: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that unlike Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is “old and in a hurry”, he was not interested in telling lies.
Addressing a poll rally in Nagpur, the Congress leader asserted that he was in politics for the long haul and “here for another 10 to 15 years.”
“I want to build a long-standing relationship with you. I will not speak lies. Modi has grown old and is in a hurry. So he is telling lies,” Rahul said.
The Congress president said that he did not lie since lies gets exposed sooner or later, and added that his party works while the BJP “only makes hollow promises”. Polling will be held in Nagpur in the first phase on 11 April. Union minister Nitin Gadkari of the BJP is pitted against Congress’ Nana Patole in the Lok Sabha constituency .
Making a strong pitch for the ‘NYAY’ minimum income guarantee scheme of his party, Rahul said all economists have told him that the scheme to deposit Rs 72,000 every month in the bank accounts of the poor was feasible and can be implemented without hurting India’s economy.
“The ‘NYAY’ scheme is a surgical strike by Congress on poverty. Every Indian should get a minimum of Rs 12,000 every month,” he said, adding the Congress government will provide enough funds for the scheme.
Corruption, unemployment and farmers’ problems were the priority issues for elections this time, and Modi should explain what he had done to tackle them in the last five years, he said.
He reiterated his challenge to Modi to take part in a 15-minute open debate on corruption, economy and national security with him. “He (Modi) will not be able to show his face to you since he knows he can’t answer questions. This is the reality,” he said.
Unemployment in the country has reached a 45-year high, the Congress president claimed.
Hitting out at Anil Ambani, Rahul said the industrialist had no money, no expertise in defence manufacturing and all his businesses had failed. “Despite this, Anil Ambani got the biggest defence contract (under the Rafale deal). His brother saved him from going to jail,” he said.
“Why should Anil Ambani get the Rafale contract and why not somebody from Vidarbha (region where the poll rally was held),” Rahul said.
Nagpur : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results in the third week of May. Responding to Hindustan Times, CBSE’s senior public relations officer, Rama Sharma said that the board will tentatively declare the Class 10 and Class 12 results in the third week of May.
CBSE Class 12th board exams began on February 15 and concluded on April 4 while Class 10 exams began on February 21 and concluded on March 29.
Earlier on Tuesday, CBSE refuted the information circulated on Whatsapp about the re-conduct of Class 12 physics and economics examinations.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a notification saying that the information circulated on Whatsapp about the re-conduct of Class 12 physics and economics examinations is fake or not correct.
The CBSE said it has come to the board’s notice that fake information about the re-conduct of examinations of these two subjects is being circulated on Whatsapp.
“It is come to the notice of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that a fake information regarding the re-conduct of examination of subject Physics and Economics of Class XII is being circulated on whatsapp. The date of this information is 28.03.2019 which has been signed by Sh. K K Choudhury, former Controller of Examinations. This is brought to the notice of Stakeholders that the news of re-conduct of Physics and Economics of Class XII is fake. All Stakeholders and public is requested not to give any heed to the rumors like the above said one and cooperate with the CBSE in the smooth and fair conduct of examinations.”

चेन्नई: सध्या तरुणाईमध्ये ‘टिक टॉक’ या व्हिडीओ अॅपची मोठी क्रेझ आहे. या अॅपद्वारे अनेकजण एखादे गाणे किंवा डायलॉगवर अभिनय करुन व्हिडीओ बनवतात आणि फेसबुक, व्हॉट्सअप यांसारख्या सोशल मीडियावर पोस्ट करतात. पण गेल्या कित्येक दिवसांपासून या अॅपच्या माध्यमातून अश्लील व्हिडीओ समोर येत होते. यामुळे मद्रास हायकोर्टाने ‘टिक टॉक’ अॅपवर बंदी घालण्याचे केंद्र सरकारला आदेश दिले आहेत. त्यामुळे तरुणाईच्या गळ्यातील ताईत बनलेला ‘टिक टॉक’ आता लवकरच बंद होणार आहे.
गेल्या कित्येक दिवसांपासून ‘टिक टॉक’ या म्युझिकल व्हिडीओ अॅपने तरुणांना अक्षरश: वेड लावले आहे. या माध्यमातून अनेक तरुण-तरुणी व्हिडीओ तयार करुन सोशल मीडियावर पोस्ट करत होते. पण कित्येकदा ‘टिक टॉक’द्वारे अश्लील व्हिडीओही तयार करण्यात येतात. त्यामुळे ‘टिक टॉक’वर बंदी घालावी, अशा प्रकारची मागणी करणारी याचिका मद्रास हायकोर्टात दाखल करण्यात आली होती. या याचिकेवरील सुनावणीदरम्यान ‘टिक टॉक’ अॅपच्या डाऊनलोडिंगवर बंदी घालावी असे आदेश हायकोर्टाने केंद्र सरकारला दिले आहेत. तसंच सर्व प्रसारमाध्यमांनीही टिक टॉकवर तयार करण्यात येणार व्हिडीओ प्रदर्शित करणे टाळावे, असेही हायकोर्टाने म्हटलं आहे.
त्याशिवाय या याचिकेवरील सुनावणीदरम्यान मद्रास हायकोर्टाने केंद्र सरकारची चांगलीच कानउघडणी केली आहे. अमेरिकेत 18 वर्षाखालील मुलांसाठी चिल्ड्रेन ऑनलाईन प्रायव्हसी प्रोटेक्शन कायदा आहे. मग तसाच कायदा आपल्याकडे का तयार केला जात नाही, असा प्रश्न हायकोर्टाने उपस्थित केला आहे. तसंच लवकरात लवकर इतर देशाप्रमाणे आपल्या देशातही 18 वर्षाखालील मुलांसाठी चिल्ड्रेन ऑनलाईन प्रायव्हसी प्रोटेक्शन कायदा करावा, असे आदेश हायकोर्टाने दिले आहेत. याबाबत पुढील सुनावणी 16 एप्रिलला होणार आहे.
गेल्या महिन्यात ‘टिक टॉक’ या अॅपमुळे तमिळ संस्कृतीचे पालन होत नसल्याचे तमिळनाडू सरकारने सांगितले होते. या अॅपमुळे राज्यात कायदा व सुव्यवस्थेचा प्रश्नही निर्माण होत आहे. ज्याप्रमाणे ‘ब्ल्यू व्हेल’ या गेमिंग अॅपवर बंदी घालण्यात आली होती, तशाचप्रकारे या अॅपवरही बंदी घालावी अशी मागणी तमिळनाडू सरकारने केंद्र सरकारला केली होती.
‘टिक टॉक’ हे चीनमध्ये तयार करण्यात आलेले अॅप आहे. चीनमध्ये हे अॅप ‘डॉयइन’ नावाने प्रसिद्ध आहे. सप्टेंबर 2016 साली चीनने ‘डॉयइन’ या अॅपला चीनच्या ऑनलाईन मार्केटमध्ये लाँच केलं होत. त्यानंतर वर्षभरात ‘टिक टॉक’ या नावाने हे अॅप जगभरात लाँच झाले. 73 एमबीचे हे अप असून याचे 500 मिलियन पेक्षा जास्त युजर्स आहेत.

मुंबई: रिझर्व्ह बँकेनं (RBI) गृहकर्ज घेणाऱ्यांना काही अंशी दिलासा देण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे. आरबीआयच्या पतधोरण आढावा समितीनं आज रेपो दरात ०.२५ टक्क्यांची कपात केली आहे. रेपो दर ६.२५ वरून ६ टक्क्यांवर आले आहेत. त्यामुळं आगामी काळात गृह, वाहन अथवा अन्य कर्जे स्वस्त होणार आहेत. तसंच ज्यांनी गृहकर्ज घेतलंय, त्यांच्या ईएमआयमध्ये घट होण्याची शक्यता आहे.
२०१९-२० या चालू आर्थिक वर्षाच्या पहिल्या द्वैमासिक पतधोरण आढावा बैठकीत समितीनं रेपो दरात ०.२५ टक्के कपात करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. समितीच्या सहापैकी पाच सदस्यांनी कपातीचं समर्थन केलं. तसंच या वर्षात आर्थिक विकास दर ७ टक्क्यांपर्यंत राहील असा अंदाज व्यक्त करण्यात आला.
नागपूर : मोठ्या प्रमाणात कर चुकविल्या प्रकरणी प्राप्तिकर विभागाने काल नागपुरातल्या धरमपेठ येथील एका बिल्डरच्या कार्यालयात छापा टाकला. या बांधकाम व्यावसायिकाने मोठ्या प्रमाणात कर चुकवला असून त्याच्याकडे बेहिशेबी मालमत्तेची कागदपत्रे असल्याचे आले असल्याची माहिती आहे. लोकसभा निवडणूकांच्या धामधुमीत कारवाई झाल्याने बिल्डरांचे धाबे दणाणले आहेत.

मुंबई : बॉलिवूड अभिनेता इरफान खानने त्याच्या गंभीर आजारावर मात केली असून तो मायदेशात परतला आहे. त्याच्या आजारामूळे तो चित्रपट सृष्टीपासून फार काळ दूर होता. ५२ वर्षीय अभिनेता इरफान मागील काही महिन्यांपासून लंडनमध्ये न्यूरो एंडोक्राइन ट्यूमर आजारावर उपचार घेत होता. त्यानंतर आज तो कर्करोगावर मात करत भारतात परतला आहे.

नागपूर : कुप्रसिद्ध गंगा जमनातील न्यू मंगळवारी येथील ‘व्हाइट हाऊस’मध्ये सुरू असलेल्या देह व्यापार अड्ड्यावर गुन्हे शाखेच्या सामाजिक सुरक्षा विभागाच्या पथकाने मंगळवारी छापा टाकला. पोलिसांनी दोन महिला दलालांना अटक करुन दोन पीडित तरुणींची सुटका केली. मंगळवारी सायंकाळी पोलिसांनी ही कारवाई केली.
हे हाऊस अत्यंत पॉश असून, येथे ग्राहकांना संपूर्ण सुविधा उपलब्ध करुन देण्यात असून मुंबई व दिल्लीतील तरुणींकडून येथे अश्लील नृत्यही करवून घेतल्या जात असल्याची माहिती सामाजिक सुरक्षा विभागाला मिळाली. पथकाने सायंकाळी सापळा रचून हाऊसमध्ये छापा टाकला. एक महिला तरुणीला घेऊन थेट गच्चीवरील पाण्याच्या टाकीमागे लपली. पोलिसांनी मुलीला ताब्यात घेतले. दोन पीडितांची सुटका करून दोघींना अटक केली. सुटका करण्यात आलेली एक तरुणी अल्पवयीन असल्याची शक्यता आहे. याप्रकरणी लकडगंज पोलिस स्टेशनमध्ये गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे.

IPL 2019: जयपुर -इंडियन प्रिमियर लीगच्या बाराव्या हंगामात आपल्या तीनही सामन्यात पराभवाचा सामना करावा लागलेल्या राजस्थान रॉयल्स समोर आज रॉयल चॅलेंजर्स बंगळुरूचे आव्हान असणार आहे. दोन्ही संघ सध्या क्रमवारीत तळाच्या स्थानी असून आपल्या पहिल्या विजयासाठी दोन्ही संघ प्रयत्नशील असणार आहेत.

Nagpur : Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be conducting its 32nd Convocation on April 3,2019. In a Pre-Convocation Press Meet, Dr. P. Sivaswaroop, Regional Director informed that for the convenience of its students spread across the country, IGNOU adopted a technology mediated web based Convocation so that students need not travel to Delhi but they can receive degrees at a nearby Regional Centre Venue.
The main function will be held at IGNOU Headquarters New Delhi. Vice President of India, M. Venkiah Naidu, will be the chief guest and deliver the Convocation address. The Convocation will be held simultaneously at headquarters and 56 Regional Centres through web conference method. The Web Conference is available at www.ignou.ac.in and Live Telecast on Gyan Darshan TV Channel, which is available through many service providers including Doordarshan Free Dish.
Dr. Sivaswaroop said that the Regional Centre Nagpur is organizing this convocation at SHALOM Auditorium, Hislop College. A total of 1048 students are eligible to receive their Master Degree, Undergraduate, Diploma and PG Diploma in this Convocation. Vice Chancellor, Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur, Prof (Dr.) Vijender Kumar, will be guest of honour at Nagpur and deliver the Regional Convocation Address.
He further informed that it is glad to note that Shubham Gajanan Kawalkar of Amravati stood All India 1st in Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication (PGJMC) Program and will be receiving his Gold Medal at the Nagpur venue. It is also glad to note that a 77 years old student also will receive his MA Anthropology Degree certificate in this Convocation at Nagpur.

लहान मुलांच्या डोळ्यांमध्ये दोन प्रकारच्या कर्करोगाच्या पेशी विकसित होतात. त्यामुळे दृष्टी जाण्याची जोखीम बळावते, असे नमूद करीत डॉ. षण्मुगम म्हणाले, यातला पहिला कर्करोग हा डोळ्यांमधील पांढरा भाग क्षतीग्रस्त करतात, तर दुसऱ्या मेनॅलोमा प्रकारात डोळ्यांच्या आतील भाग नष्ट होतो. वैद्यकीयदृष्ट्या हा जनुकीय आजार असल्याने तो एका पिढीकडून दुसऱ्या पिढीकडे संक्रमित होण्याची जोखीम आहे. मात्र हा आजारच दुर्मिळ आहे. त्यातही आता अद्ययावत वैद्यकीय उपचार तंत्रामुळे लहान मुलांमधील नजीकच्या भविष्यातील हे अंधत्व टाळता येते. लहान मुलांमध्येही संगणक, मोबाइल, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक गॅझेटच्या वापराचे प्रमाण वाढल्याने लहान वयातच डोळ्यांमध्ये कोरडेपणा वाढत आहे. मात्र, सवयीवर नियंत्रण ठेवले तर ही जोखीम टाळता येते, असेही त्यांनी नमूद केले.
Nagpur : Work for the construction of the country’s first Samvidhan Preamble Park has begun in the premises of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law, conducted by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU). According to sources, bhoomipujan for some of the works will be performed in June. For the Rs 10 crore project, Rs 2.50 crore have already been released by Maharashtra Government. Part of the amount for the project will be raised through public participation.
The idea was conceptualised by Deputy Registrar (Academic) Dr Anil Hirekhan, who followed it up with Social Justice Minister Rajkumar Badole and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule to get the administrative hurdles cleared. According to Dr Hirekhan, Nagpur has Samvidhan Chowk, Deekshabhoomi. Now, it will have Samvidhan Park too. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar had embraced Buddhism in the city. Nagpur was the ideal place for country’s first Samvidhan Park. Dr Ambedkar himself was a Barrister so it was very relevant to build the Park in the premises of the Law college. The present gate of the college has been re-constructed with two beautifully decorated pillars on each side. The board will have name of the college as well as Samvidhan Preamble Park along and a photograph of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.
The path from the Amravati road inside the college would go straight to the park at the extreme corner of which will stand 7.5 feet tall statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. The park will have beautiful lawn and sitting arrangement for the public. There will be seven digital boards placed in circle around the lawn. The seven values including Justice, Equality, Liberty, Fraternity etc will be written on the boards. If one touches the board, a detail description of the values will appear on that board.
The park will have a special light effect that would make it look beautiful during night. The walls will be made made of special material which will ensure durability and cleanliness (washable). The 7.5 feet tall statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar will be the main attraction at the park. It will replace the existing bust of Dr Ambedkar. Dr Girish Gandhi, former MLC Prof Jogendra Kawade, MLC Prof Anil Sole, Prakash Gajbhiye, former MP Ajay Sancheti, MP (Rajya Sabha) Dr Vikas Mahatme, Justice Kishor Rohee, RTMNU V-C Dr S P Kane, RTMNU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole and others have been included in the committee that would monitor the project.

It was held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Melbourne Australia from the March 15 to 17th, 2019.

मनपा जन्म-मृत्यू विभाग मुख्यालय व दहा झोन स्तरावरून सन २०१५ पर्यंतचे जन्म-मृत्यू दाखले सॉफ्टवेअर बंद राहणार असल्यामुळे निर्गमित होणार नाहीत.

His parents ensured that he finished school, after which he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Education (B. Ed.) Following a stint as an assistant professor, More decided to work in the soil. But while in the field, he felt the need to express the troubles farmers face. Hence was born his first novel, ‘Kingdom In Dream: The Prime Minister’. He penned it in English so he reaches a wider audience. He said all children should be taught English right from primary schools.
Pandurang Tanaji More said “inspiration” not “imposition” which produces results , that after going through the agonies of being a farmer, he realised the system had to undergo a transformation, and for that one has to enter politics. Soon on the heels of its debut show Roar of the Lion which has taken the internet by storm, Hotstar has announced the launch of its second Special ‘Criminal Justice’, a scintillating drama marking the debut of director Tigmanshu Dhulia along with Vishal Furia. The show features a powerhouse of talent from Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey to Mita Vashisht and Anupriya Goenka. The surprise package in the newly launched trailer is Jackie Shroff who makes his digital debut with the show.
‘Criminal Justice’ captures Aditya Sharma’s (Vikrant Massey) journey, as one incident completely turns around his life. 24-year-old Aditya Sharma, lives with his middle-class family in Mumbai. He is ambitious but is aware of his middle-class roots, a decent boy who drives his father’s cab to add to the family income. But life turns upside down for him when his last trip for the night ends with him being accused of the brutal murder of his female passenger. As skeletons tumble out of his closet, one begins to wonder whether Aditya Sharma is innocent or guilty of a gruesome crime?
The show is the Indian adaption of the hit BBC produced series Criminal Justice, which was also later adapted into the Emmy Award winning HBO show “The Night of”, which is set in NYC and features Riz Ahmed.
Vikrant Massey who plays the lead says, “The intensity of the character, required great preparation and research. From the nuances of Indian prisons to the life of criminals locked inside, every little detail was important. There were days when it got me emotionally drained, but that’s what all powerful stories do. नागपूर : अमरावती तसेच दक्षिण एक्स्प्रेसमधून आरपीएफने आज मद्यसाठा जप्त केला.
नागपूर रेल्वे स्थानकावर प्लॅटफॉर्म क्रमांक तीनवर उभ्या असलेल्या अमरावती एक्स्प्रेसमधून दारूच्या १०० बाटल्या जप्त करण्यात आल्या. १२१६० अमरावती एक्स्प्रेस ही गाडी प्लॅटफॉर्म क्रमांक तीनवर उभी होती. त्यावेळी या गाडीच्या जनरल कोचमध्ये आरपीएफच्या पथकाला चार बॅग बेवारस आढळल्या. त्या उघडून पाहिल्या असता त्यात मद्याच्या १६ बाटल्या आढळल्या.
दुसरी कारवाई सायंकाळी दक्षिण एक्स्प्रेसमध्ये झाली. सायंकाळी प्लॅटफॉर्म क्रमांक दोनवर १२७२२ दक्षिण एक्सप्रेस उभी होती. त्यावेळी या गाडीच्या एस ३ कोचमध्ये एक बॅग बेवारस आढळली. या बॅगमध्ये मोठा मद्यसाठा होता. हा मद्यसाठा राज्य उत्पादन शुल्क विभागाच्या सुपूर्द करण्यात आला. ही कारवाई वरिष्ठ मंडळ सुरक्षा आयुक्त आशुतोष पांडेय यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात उपनिरीक्षक जी.एस. एडले, सीताराम जाट, हेड कॉन्स्टेबल अर्जुन सामंतराय, संतोष पटेल, लाडसकर, कॉन्स्टेबल दीपक पवार, बी.बी. यादव यांनी केली.

रेल्वे प्रशासनाने घेतलेल्या निर्णयानुसार रेल्वेगाडी क्रमांक ०१०७४ नागपूर-मुंबई विशेष रेल्वेगाडी प्रत्येक रविवारी नागपूरवरून १४ एप्रिल ते ३० जून दरम्यान दुपारी ४ वाजता सुटेल. ही गाडी वर्ध्याला सायंकाळी ५.०८, धामणगावला ६, चांदूरला ६.२३, बडनेराला ७.२८, मूर्तिजापूरला ८.०८, अकोला ८.४५, शेगाव ९.१५, मलकापूर रात्री १० वाजता आणि मुंबई छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज टर्मिनसला दुसऱ्या दिवशी सोमवारी सकाळी ८.२० वाजता पोहोचेल.
रेल्वेगाडी क्रमांक ०२०२१ मुंबई-नागपूर सुपरफास्ट विशेष रेल्वेगाडी मुंबई छत्रपती शिवाजी टर्मिनसवरून प्रत्येक रविवारी १४ एप्रिल ते ३० जून दरम्यान रात्री १२.२० वाजता सुटेल. ही गाडी अकोला सकाळी ९.३८, मूर्तिजापूरला १०.०८, बडनेरा १०.५८, चांदूर ११.२६, धामणगावला ११.३८, वर्धा १२.१५ आणि नागपूरला दुपारी २.३० वाजता पोहोचेल. दोन्ही गाड्यात एकूण १७ कोच राहतील. यात १२ स्लिपर, ३ साधारण द्वितीय आणि २ एसएलआर कोचचा समावेश आहे. प्रवाशांनी या विशेष रेल्वेगाड्यांचा लाभ घ्यावा, असे आवाहन रेल्वे प्रशासनाने केले आहे.
नागपुर : लोकसभा चुनाव के सामने नागपुर के या अजनी पुलिस स्टेशन के अंतर्गत आनेवाले शताब्दी नगर पुलिस स्टेशन जलकर खाक हो गया है। यह घटना आज (शुक्रवार) दोपहर २ से २.३० के बीच की है। जिस वजह से घटनास्थल में हलचल मच गई। यह पुलिस स्टेशन में तीन से चार बार पहले भी आग लग चुकी है। जिस वजह से यह शक पैदा हो रहा है कि, पुलिस स्टेशन जला है या जलाया गया है।
अजनी पुलिस स्टेशन के अंतर्गत आनेवाले शताब्दी नगर चौक के भाग में टेंट लगाकर अस्थायी पुलिस स्टेशन तैयार किये गए है। अजनी पुलिस स्टेशन के कर्मचारियों का कहना है कि, इस पुलिस स्टेशन में कामकाज नहीं चलता। साथ ही कोई भी कागज पत्र रखे नहीं जाते।
पुलिस चौकी में दोपहर करीब २ से २.३० बजे अचानक आग लग गई। टेंट होने की वजह से आग टेंट में चरों ओर फ़ैल गई। और सारा सामान जल गया। इस बीच, दुकानदारों को तुरंत इसकी सूचना दी गई। नरेंद्र नगर की दमकल गाड़ी से आग पर तुरंत काबू पा लिया गया। एक अन्य पुलिस चौकी सड़क पर है और यह इलाका लगातार ट्रैफिक में है। दिनदहाड़े पुलिस स्टेशन में आग लगने से यह चर्चा का विषय बन गई है। सवाल यह उठाया जा रहा है कि क्या किया जाना चाहिए और क्यों। क्योकि इससे पहले भी तीन-चार बार आग लगने की घटनाएं हो चुकी हैं। इस पर आग लगाने वाले कोई होंगे ऐसा शक व्यक्त किया जा रहा है।
