नागपूर : सेंट्रल बोर्ड ऑफ सेकंडरी एज्युकेशनने (सीबीएसई) इयत्ता दहावीचे निकाल घोषित केले आहेत. इयत्ता १२वीच्या निकालाप्रमाणेच आज इयत्ता १०वीचे निकाल घोषित करत सीबीएसईने सरप्राइझ दिले आहे. आज निकाल घोषित करण्याबाबत सीबीएसईने कोणतीही पूर्वसूचना दिली नव्हती. मात्र, आज अचानक दुपारी ३ वाजता निकाल लावणार असल्याचे वृत्त प्रसिद्ध झाले. असे असले करी सीबीएसईने २ वाजता निकाल घोषित केले. विद्यार्थी इयत्ता १०वीचा निकाल http://cbseresults.nic.in/class10/Class10th19.htm या साइटवर भेट देऊन पाहू शकतात.

विद्यार्थी सीबीएसईची अधिकृत वेबसाइट results.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in और cbse.nic.in वर निकाल पाहू शकतात. या व्यतिरिक्त विद्यार्थी मायक्रोसॉफ्ट अॅप- एसएमएस ऑर्गनायझरद्वारेही निकाल पाहू शकतात. या साठी त्यांना आपला रोल नंबर, जन्मतारीख आणि शाळेचा कोड रजिस्टर करावा लागणार आहे.
Nagpur : With the Chardham Yatra set to begin on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on Tuesday, the Uttarakhand Government has been preparing for a smooth conduct of the annual yatra to the shrines. While Gangotri and Yamunotri shrines will reopen on Tuesday, Kedarnath and Badrinath shrines will open to the pilgrims on Thursday and Friday, respectively, a Government official said on Sunday. Heavy snow from the roads leading to the four shrines nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas was cleared and efforts were underway to rebuild the damaged structures and logistics there.
“Heavy snow is still there around the Kedarnath temple premises but snow from the path leading to the shrine has been cleared,” said Mohan Lal Thapliyal, Chairman of the Temple Committee. After a large number of huts were damaged during heavy snowfall (15-20 feet) in January-February, the Government had taken up the uphill task to clear the snow at the Kedarnath premises, situated at a height of 11,755 feet in Rudraprayag district.
Most of the snow has melted and only 4-5 feet was remaining. The highway authorities were working to cover potholes and other sundry works on the roads leading to Chardham shrines. All major construction activities such as cutting work on the roads leading to the four shrines have been stopped for the convenience of pilgrims, said Thapliyal. The road leading to Yamunotri shrine was in bad shape with repair work on a vital bridge connecting the temple still underway.
Nagpur : Two persons including a 14-year-old boy was killed when a speeding Honda City Car crashed into a Maruti Ritz car at Law College Square in the wee hours of Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Anil Premdas Yadav (36) and Harsh Ganesh Yadav (14), both residents of Samadhan Nagar, near Police Line Takli while injured persons are – Mamta Yadav, Sheetal Salame and Priyanka Mhaiskar.
They were travelling in the Maruti Ritz (MH-31/EA-2029). A police officer said the impact of the collision was such that the bonnet of the Honda City car (MH-49/U-2010), in which Animesh Milind Nikhare (21), a resident of Plot No 77, Dattatreya Nagar, Sakkardara, and his four friends, were travelling in was severely mangled. The Honda City car was moving towards Futala in great speed while the Maruti Ritz came from Civil Lines area. Animesh failed to notice the Maruti Ritz and crashed the Honda City into it.
Anil and Harsh, who were sitting at the left side of the Maruti Ritz, sustained grievous injuries as the Honda City hit left side of the car. A large number of onlookers were gathered at the spot and rushed the profusely bleeding persons to the hospital where doctors declared Anil and Harsh brought dead. Condition of Mamta Yadav, Sheetal Yadav and Priyanka Mhaiskar is reportedly normal. Police said that Animesh, a Polytechnic student, was going to Futala with his friends when the accident occurred. Sitabuldi police have registered the case under Sections 279, 304 (a), 337 and 338 of Indian Penal Code.
Nagpur : Gangs of chain snatchers had a field day in city as they robbed five women of gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 2.5 lakh. A rising number of chain-snatching cases has left citizens worried as a total of seven chain-snatching incidents were reported with 72 hours and cops literally failed to identify the accused. Two chain-snatchings were reported in Sitabuldi and Mankapur area on Saturday. An old-aged woman was robbed of her gold chain worth Rs 35,000 by a bike-borne robber near Alankar Talkies square in Sitabuldi area on Saturday night.
Archana Biharilal Shrivastava (64) was heading towards Jhanshi Rani Square from Alankar Talkies square on her moped at 7.45 pm. She did not notice two motorcycle-borne miscreants following her and within seconds, her gold chain was yanked away from her and they sped away. Archana was shocked after the robbery and failed to raise an alarm. Sitabuldi police have registered the case under Section 392 of Indian Penal Code. In another case, two bike-borne robbers looted gold chain managalsutra worth Rs 15,000 of a middle-aged woman in front of her house in Mankapur area in the early hours of Saturday. The robbers came on a motorcycle and approached Yamu Sudhakar Lahane (55), a resident of Plot No. 35, Bajrang Nagar, Koradi Road, when she was sweeping the courtyard at 5.30 pm.
On the pretext of inquiring an address, the goons snatched her mangalsutra and sped away from the spot. Yamu was shocked after incident as apart from financial loss, emotionally it was very tough for any woman to recover from such incident. Mankapur police have registered the case under Sections 392 and 34 of Indian Penal Code. The police are checking CCTV footage to identify the accused. The robbers also targeted Rajlaxmi Narendra Sainani (41), a resident of Plot No. 19, Maitri Row House, Mhada Colony, Mankpuar, when she was about to board in her car at Anooj Dairy and Bakery. She told the police that the robbers came on a bike and snatched her gold chain worth Rs 22,000. Mankapur police have registered the case under Sections 392 and 34 of IPC. Rana Pratap Nagar: A bike-borne youth robbed an old-aged woman of her gold mangalsutra worth Rs 40,000 in front of her house at Trimutri Nagar on Sunday morning. Kumud Namdeorao Raut (68), a resident of Plot No. 6/A, Bhange Vihar, Trimurti Nagar, was sweeping the courtyard at 8.10 am.
The youth came on a motorcycle and snatched her mangalsutra. The woman fell on the ground in an attempt to save the mangalsutra. Before she could raise an alarm, the robber sped away from the spot. Rana Pratap Nagar police have registered the case under Section 392 of IBC Ganeshpeth: Vidya Pramod Choudhary (41) was robbed by two youths when she was going to drop her daughter to the school. The robbery took place near Gujrati Hotel in Ganeshpeth Police Station area on Sunday morning. Vidya, a resident of Flat No. 203, Wing No. 3, Rahul Complex, was heading towards Sitabudli on moped while her daughter was riding pillion at 7.25 am.
The robbers came on a Hero Maestro moped and robbed Vidya of her gold chain. Ganeshpeth police have registered the case under Sections 392 and 34 of IPC. Acting swiftly, cops arrested two youths namely Ashish Pandey (30), a resident of Pension Nagar and son of Retd policeman Loknarayan Pandey, and Abdul Junaid (30), a resident of Mahesh Nagar, Gittikhadan.
नागपूर : डिजिटल युगामध्ये बँकेत जाऊन पैसे काढणे वा भरण्याच्या भानगडीत कुणी पडत नाही. त्यातल्या त्यात एटीएमची वाढलेली संख्या पाहता पैसे काढण्यासाठी करावी लागणारी पायपीटदेखील थांबली आहे. मात्र, चौकाचौकांत असलेले एटीएम सुरक्षित नसल्याचा मुद्दा एकदा माहितीच्या अधिकारांतर्गत केलेल्या अर्जातून पुढे आला आहे. २०१५ ते फेब्रुवारी २०१९ दरम्यान वेगवेगळ्या एटीएममधून पैसे लंपास होणे आणि इतर कारणांवरून एकूण ८३ गुन्हे दाखल करण्यात आलेले आहेत. तर १९ आरोपींना आतापर्यंत अटक झाली आहे.
‘ग्राहकांचा पैसा सर्व प्रकारे सुरक्षित ठेवण्यासाठी देशातील एटीएम सुरक्षित बनवा अन्यथा योग्य ती कारवाई केली जाईल’, अशा इशारा रिझर्व्ह बँकेने (आरबीआय) देशभरातील बँका आणि एटीएम ऑपरेटर्सना दिला आहे. पण, त्याचा काहीही उपयोग झालेला नाही. अद्यापही शहरातील सर्व एटीएम सुरक्षेच्या दृष्टीने परिपूर्ण झालेले नाहीत. या पार्श्वभूमीवर माहिती-तंत्रज्ञानांतर्गत दाखल झालेले गुन्हे, एटीएमसंबंधित गुन्हे यासंदर्भात आरटीआय कार्यकर्ते अभय कोलारकर यांनी अर्ज केला. त्यामध्ये मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, एटीएमशी संबंधित ८३ पैकी १३ गुन्हे उघड झाले आहेत. यातील १९ आरोपींना अटक करण्यात आली आहे. तर ७० गुन्ह्यांचा छडा अद्याप लागलेला नाही. एकूण गुन्ह्यांच्या माध्यमातून ४४ लाख ४५ हजार ५० इतकी रक्कम चोरीला गेली आहे. याशिवाय, आयटी अॅक्टअंतर्गत बँकेशी संबंधित गुन्ह्यांचा विचार करता १४० गुन्हे दाखल झाले आहेत. यापैकी केवळ २६ गुन्हे उघडकीस आले आहेत. त्यातून ३५ आरोपींना अटक झाली असून ६ कोटी १४ लाख ४४ हजार ९२० इतकी रक्कम चोरीला गेली आहे. याशिवाय, अन्य कलमांतर्गत दाखल झालेल्या गुन्ह्यांची संख्या ३७८ असून यातील १०७ उघडकीस आले आहेत. तर १२३ आरोपींना अटक करण्यात आली आहे.
काय म्हणते आरबीआय ?
एटीएम सुरक्षित झाल्यानंतर पुढील जून २०१९ पर्यंत त्याचे पूरक ‘सीक्युरिटी वर्जन’ही कालबद्ध पद्धतीने लागू करण्याचे आदेश आरबीआयने दिले आहेत. गेल्या काही वर्षांत अनेक एटीएम घोटाळे समोर आले आहेत. त्यात विविध प्रकारे चोरांनी एटीएममधील रक्कम लांबवल्याचे उघड झाले आहे. मात्र, एटीएम प्रणाली अद्ययावत आणि अधिक सुरक्षित करण्याचे बँकांचे काम अत्यंत धिम्या गतीने सुरू आहे. त्या पार्श्वभूमीवर, आरबीआयने बँकांना फैलावर घेतले आहे. याआधी मार्च २०१७ मध्ये आरबीआयने गोपनीय सर्क्युलर काढून ‘एटीएममध्ये सुरक्षा प्रणाली अधिक सुरक्षित करून त्याचा आढावा घ्यावा आणि उपाययोजना आखाव्यात’, असे आदेश दिले होते.

देशभरात फेब्रुवारी २०१८ पर्यंत २ कोटी ६ लाख एटीएम असल्याची नोंद आहे. त्यानुसार ‘बीआयओएस’ पासवर्ड, डिसएबलिंग यूएसबी पोर्ट, डिसएबलिंग ऑटोरन फॅसिलिटी, ऑपरेटिंग प्रणाली अद्ययावत, सुरक्षेचे उपाय, टाइम बेस अॅडमिन अॅक्सेस या बाबी असाव्यात. तसेच सर्व एटीएममध्ये अँटी-स्किमिंग आणि व्हाइटलिस्टिंग सोल्युशन असणे बंधनकारक आहे.

Nagpur : Nagpur Government Polytechnic College has received accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for its nine branches, recently. Addressing a press conference, Principal of the college Prof. C S Thorat said, “Nagpur Government Polytechnic is the first college in the State that awarded NBA accreditation for their nine branches.” The College administration fulfill the norms to get the accreditation within four months. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, Mining and Mine Surveying Engineering departments got the authorisation.
NBA in its present form came into existence as an autonomous body with effect from 2010, with the objective of assurance of quality and relevance of education, especially of the programmes in professional and technical disciplines, like Engineering and Technology, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy and Hospitality, through the mechanism of accreditation of programmes offered by technical institutions.
The College received special recognition after getting this authorisation by NBA. This will help students to get jobs in the country as well as in abroad. Dr Rajeshwari Wankhade, chief and co-ordinator of NBA Cell and S S Munde were also present during the press conference.
नागपूर : स्वायत्त असणारा निवडणूक आयोग सध्या पक्षपातीपणाने वागत असल्याचा आरोप काँग्रेस अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी यांनी केला आहे. मागील काही दिवसांपासून निवडणूक आयोगाच्या भूमिकेवरून विरोधकांकडून प्रश्नचिन्ह उपस्थित करण्यात येत होते. सत्ताधाऱ्यांबाबत निवडणूक आयोग मवाळ भूमिका घेत आहे. तर, विरोधकांबाबत कठोर भूमिका घेत असल्याचाही थेट आरोप राहुल गांधी यांनी केला.
काँग्रेस मुख्यालयात आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या पत्रकार परिषदेत राहुल गांधी यांनी भाजप आणि पंतप्रधान मोदी यांच्यावर जोरदार टीका केली. निवडणूक आयोगाच्या भूमिकेबाबत प्रश्न विचारल्यानंतर राहुल गांधी यांनी निवडणूक आयोगावर आरोप केले. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या नेतृत्वात केंद्र सरकार आल्यानंतर अनेक स्वायत्त आणि महत्त्वाच्या संस्था मोडीत काढण्याचे काम सुरू झाले असल्याचे आम्ही म्हटले होते. निवडणूक आयोगाने आपली जबाबदारी योग्य तऱ्हेने पार पाडायला हवी. पण तसे दिसत नाही. निवडणूक आयोगाचा पक्षपातीपणा हा भाजपने स्वायत्त संस्था ताब्यात घेतल्याचा परिणाम असल्याचे ते म्हणाले. निवडणूक आयोगाने भाजपला कितीही मदत केली तरी जनता भाजपला हरवणार आहे, असा दावा राहुल गांधी यांनी केला.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांना पराभूत करणे अशक्य असल्याची चर्चा पाच वर्षांपूर्वी सुरू होती. मात्र, काँग्रेसने हा समज आता मोडीत काढला आहे. मोदींना काँग्रेसनं राजकीयदृष्ट्या उद्ध्वस्त केलं असून आज तुमच्यापुढे जो दिसतोय, तो केवळ पोकळ सांगाडा आहे. आणखी १५-२० दिवसांत तोही कोसळणार असल्याचे राहुल गांधी यांनी सांगितले.

नागपूर : कुलरच्या शॉकने एका १८ वर्षीय तरुणाचा करुण अंत झाला. ही घटना कोतवाली पोलिस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीतील महालातील बडकस परिसरात शुक्रवारी सकाळी घडली.
ऋषिकेश राम आमले असे या तरुणाचे नाव आहे. त्याने यंदाच बारावीची परीक्षा दिली होती. त्याचे वडील शेतकरी असून त्याची आई गृहिणी आहे. त्याला दोन मोठ्या बहिणी असून त्यातील एक बहीण पुण्यात शिकत असून दुसरी बहीण पुण्यातच नोकरी करीत आहे.
ऋषिकेशला शुक्रवारी घरातीलच कुलरचा शॉक लागल्याने तो जागीच कोसळला. त्याच्या कुटुंबीयांनी आणि परिसरातील लोकांनी त्याला सेव्हन स्टार हॉस्पीटल येथे भरती केले. मात्र डॉक्टरांनी त्यांना तपासून मृत घोषित केले.
त्यांच्या पार्थिवावर गंगाबाई घाटावर अंत्यसंस्कार करण्यात आले. पोलिसांनी या प्रकरणी अकस्मात मृत्यूची नोंद केली आहे.
नागपूर : भारतातील बेरोजगारीचा दर एप्रिलमध्ये ७.६ टक्क्यांवर पोहोचला आहे. मार्चमध्ये हा दर ६.७ टक्के होता. बेरोजगारीचा एप्रिलमधील दर ऑक्टोबर २०१६ नंतरचा नीचांकी दर ठरला आहे. सेंटर फॉर मॉनिटरिंग इंडियन इकॉनॉमीने (सीएमआयई) ही माहिती दिली आहे.
सीएमआयईचे प्रमुख महेश व्यास यांनी सांगितले की, मार्चमध्ये बेरोजगारीच्या दराचा कल काहीसा वेगळा होता. मात्र एप्रिलमध्ये त्यात वाढ झाली आहे.
बेरोजगारीची आकडेवारी सर्वसाधारणपणे दर पाच वर्षांनी जाहीर केली जाते. मात्र यासंबंधीची माहिती डिसेंबरमध्ये फुटली होती. २०१७-१८ मध्ये गेल्या ४५ वर्षांतील सर्वाधिक बेरोजगारी नोंदवली गेली, असा दावा या आकडेवारीत केला होता. नोटाबंदीनंतर २०१८ पर्यंत एक कोटी १० लाख जणांनी रोजगार गमावले, असा दावाही सीएमआयईने केला आहे.

सार्वत्रिक निवडणूक आता अखेरच्या टप्प्यात आली असल्याने एप्रिलमधील बेरोजगारीच्या आकडेवारीवरून विरोधी पक्ष पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांना लक्ष्य करण्याची शक्यता आहे.
Nagpur : Seeking to create history with India’s second Moon mission Chandrayaan-2, space agency ISRO on Friday said that it will attempt to launch a rover in the lunar South Pole, a uncharted territory so far.
“Till date nobody has made an attempt to land a rover in the region. It has been only near the Equator (of the Moon).We will be attempting to launch the rover (of Chandrayaan 2) in lunar South Pole for the first time”, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman K Sivan said here. Earlier this week, ISRO has said all three modules of the Moon mission — Orbiter, Lander (Vikram) and Rover (Pragyan) — were getting ready for the launch scheduled in July and the lander was expected to touch down on the lunar surface in early September.
ISRO has kept the launch window for the mission onboard GSLV MK-III rocket from July 9 to July 16 with an expected Moon landing on September 6, Sivan told reporters here.
The Orbiter and Lander modules will be interfaced mechanically and stacked together as an integrated module and accommodated inside the launch vehicle. The Rover is housed inside the Lander. On ISRO’s Aditya-L1 mission, Sivan said currently scientists were exploring possibilities to study more about Sun. “To learn about Sun orbit, we will be sending Aditya-L1 during the first half of next year”, he said.
The mission is aimed at observing the solar corona, the outer layers of the Sun.
The satellite would be inserted in a halo orbit around the L1 (Lagrangian point 1) of the Sun-Earth system so that it has the advantage of continuously viewing the Sun without any occultation or eclipses.
नागपुर : शहर में जारी भीषण गर्मी का असर लोगों के स्वास्थ्य पर पड़ने लगा है। लू लगने से अभी तक 192 लोग बीमार हुए हैं। मनपा के अस्पतालों में 5 मरीज भर्ती किए गए हैं। हालांकि स्वास्थ्य विभाग लू के मरीज नहीं है। उनमे लू लगने जैसे लक्षण दिखाई दिए हैं। दूसरी तरफ मेयो और मेडिकल में लू के मरीजों के लिए कोल्ड वार्ड बनाए गए हैं, लेकिन अभी तक एक भी मरीज भर्ती नहीं किया गया है। चिकित्सक के अनुसार लू लगने से शरीर का पानी और नमक कम हो जाता है।
गर्मी के चलते पसीना बनकर पानी और नमक शरीर के बाहर उत्सर्जित होने से कमजोरी महसूस होती है। शरीर में शुष्कता बढ़ जाने पर हाथ-पैर में जलन, सिर दर्द, आंखों में जलन, शरीर में अकड़न आदि लक्षण दिखाई देते हैं। शरीर का तापमान बढ़ने से चक्कर आते हैं। समय पर उपचार नहीं मिलने पर मौत का खतरा भी बना रहता है। मरीजों का तत्काल उपचार करने के लिए मनपा के आयसोलेशन अस्पताल, इंदिरा गांधी हॉस्पिटल, शासकीय मेडिकल कॉलेज तथा मेयो अस्पताल में स्वतंत्र कोल्ड वार्ड बनाए गए हैं। वार्ड में तापमान संतुलित रखने के लिए कूलर, पीने का ठंडा पानी, शासकीय मेडिकल अस्पताल तथा मेयो अस्पताल में लू के मरीजों को नहाने के लिए शॉवर आदि सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई गई है।
हालांकि शासकीय मेडिकल और मेयो अस्पताल में अभी तक एक भी मरीज भर्ती नहीं होने की जानकारी मिली है। 5 मरीज मनपा द्वारा संचालित अस्पतालों में भर्ती हैं, जबकि 187 मरीजों का बाहृय रुग्ण विभाग में उपचार किया गया है। तापमान 45 डिग्री सेल्सियस के आसपास पहुंचने पर लू के मरीज उपचार के लिए अस्पताल पहुंच रहे हैं।
Nagpur : Director General of Police Subodh Jaiswal denied having any intelligence inputs regarding the Jambhul kheda blast in which 15 police jawans and a bus driver was killed on Wednesday, but admitted that there were some errors in the operational procedures that led to the incident. Addressing the media persons at the SP office here on Thursday evening, DGP Jaiswal who was earlier SP of Gadchiroli, informed that the Anti-Naxal Operations will continue with renewed vigour.
Nobody will be allowed to take law in their hands, he warned. “We suffered a heavy loss of our jawans but this will not deter us from carrying out our operations. The operations will continue with full force and we are fully prepared for it. It will be ensured that such incidents do not occur again and necessary instructions have been given in this regard,” Jaiswal added.“The police will also study the jungle warfare tactics. The necessary review of the entire episode is being taken.Very shortly we will arrive at some conclusion,” he told. The issue of opening new police stations will also be considered.
The issue of discontent against a local police officer among the relatives of police jawans and others will also be studied, Jaiswal further informed while replying the querries of the journalists. This could be the handi work of Korchi and Kurkheda dalams operating in the area, Jaiswal told. The election work was done successfully despite Naxal threats, he added. Thedriver’s kinhave been given some financial help and more help will be given under various schemes. Any person who dies during the Naxal attack is a martyr and the driver of a private bus can also be termed as a martyr, Jaiswal in formed.The decision in this regard will be taken at the government level, he added.
Also present at the press conference were Rajinder Singh, Additional DG, Sharad Shelar, Special IGP, Ankush Shinde, DIG, ANO, Shailesh Balkawde, SP. Director General of Police (DGP) Subodh Jaiswal had earlier visited the incident spot and took stock of the situation. नागपूर : सेंट्रल बोर्ड ऑफ सेकंडरी एजुकेशन बोर्ड ने गुरुवार को 12वीं कक्षा की बोर्ड परीक्षा के नतीजे जारी किए। सीबीएसई ने पिछले कुछ वर्षों की तुलना में इस वर्ष जरा पहले रिजल्ट जारी करके सबको चौंका दिया। गुरवार दोपहर करीब 12 बजे जारी हुए रिजल्ट डाउनलोड़ करने में स्कूलों को जरा वक्त लगा।
दोपहर तीन बजे के करीब स्कूलों ने रिजल्ट डाउनलोड किए। इधर विद्यार्थियों ने अपने अपने स्तर पर अपने रिजल्ट देखे। स्कूलों द्वारा भेजी गई जानकारी के आधार पर शहर के जैन इंटरनेशनल स्कूल की साइंस की छात्रा श्रेयांशी शहा ने सर्वाधिक 98.4 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त किए। इसी तरह भवन्स स्कूल सिविल लाइंस के कॉमर्स शाखा के विद्यार्थी तन्मय चिंडालिया और निधि पुनियानी ने समान 97.4 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त किए। इसी तरह भवन्स स्कूल की श्रीकृष्ण नगर शाखा की ह्यूमेनिटिज की छात्रा इशा रेड्डी ने 97.2 प्रतिशत अंक हासिल करके अपनी धाक जमाई। ये विद्यार्थी अपनी अपनी शाखाओं के संभावित टॉपर्स है।
सीबीएसई द्वारा 15 फरवरी से 4 अप्रैल के बीच यह परीक्षा आयोजित की गई थी। देशभर से कुल 12 लाख 18 हजार 393 विद्यार्थियों ने परीक्षा के लिए पंजीयन कराया था। इसमें से 12 लाख 5 हजार 484 विद्यार्थियों ने 4 हजार 4627 परीक्षा केंद्रों पर यह परीक्षा दी।
जिसमें कुल 83.40 प्रतिशत यानी 10 लाख 5 हजार 427 विद्यार्थी पास हुए है। पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में 0.39 प्रतिशत अधिक विद्यार्थी पास हुए है। विभागानुसार जारी परिणामों में हर साल की तरह त्रिवेंद्रम विभाग का परिणाम सर्वाधिक 98.20 प्रतिशत रहा। इसके बाद चेन्नई का 92.93 प्रतिशत और दिल्ली विभाग का परिणाम 91.87 प्रतिशत रहा।

Nagpur : Girls outshone boys in the class 12 CBSE examination, the results of which where declared on Thursday way ahead of schedule, with Ghaziabad’s Hansika Shukla and Muzaffarnagar’s Karishma Arora sharing the top rank with 499 out of 500 marks. Girls have a pass percentage of 88.70, which is 9 percentage points more than that of boys’ 79.40 per cent. Transgenders have a pass percentage of 83.3 per cent, according to officials of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). In a first, the board announced the class 12 results for all the 10 regions within 28 days of the last date of the examination. Usually, the results are announced by third week of May.
According to the board officials, the results were announced earlier to ensure that they are available before undergraduate admission process begins in universities to avoid any hassle to students. As the results were announced, the board’s server crashed for a while, leaving parents and students restless. Rishikesh’s Gaurangi Chawala, Raebareli’s Aishwarya and Bhavya from Jind have bagged the second rank, scoring 498 out of 500 marks. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the students on clearing the exams. “Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed the CBSE Class XII examinations. My best wishes to them for their endeavours.
Kudos also to their parents and teachers for the valuable support,” he tweeted. Union HRD Minister spoke to the toppers and congratulated them on their success. “I have spoken to the toppers and congratulated them on their success. I congratulate all students who have cleared the exam and those who could not make it, they should not get demotivated and work harder for next attempts,” he said. The board’s Thiruvananthapuram region has the highest pass percentage at 98.20 followed by Chennai at 92.93 per cent and Delhi at 91.87 per cent. The pass percentage in Delhi has improved from last year’s 89 per cent. Foreign schools affiliated to the CBSE have also improved their pass percentage from 94.94 to 95.43 per cent. A total 12.05 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination and an increase of 0.39 per cent in the pass percentage has been registered.
Students from 12,441 schools had appeared for the exam at 4627 centres. Kendriya Vidyalayas have achieved the best pass percentage at 98.54 per cent followed by Navodaya Vidyalyas at 96.62 per cent. While 17,693 students scored above 95 per cent, 94,299 students scored between 90-95 per cent marks. A total of 99,207 students have been placed in compartment. Neeraj Jindal and Mehak Talwar from Delhi are among 18 students to rank third in the exams.
Among others bagging the third rank are Ayushi Upadhyay (Lucknow), Rubani Cheema (Haryana), Vanshika Bhagat (Meerut), Parth Saini (Solan), Ananya Goel (Meerut), Dishank Jindal (Chandigarh), Divya Agarwal (Meerut), Shreya Pandey (Haldwani), Garima Sharma (Noida), Piyush Kumar Jha (Dehradun), Ibadat Singh Bakshi (Noida), Tisha Gupta (Rajasthan) and G Khartik Balaji from Chennai. Ghaziabad’s Aishna Jain, Arpit Maheshwari and Pragya Kharkwal, have also bagged the third rank with 497 out of 500 marks. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s son Pulkit Kejriwal scored 96.4 per cent and Union Minister Smriti Irani’s son Zohr Irani secured 91 per cent marks. नागपूर : मेडिकल पीजी कोर्सची प्रवेशप्रक्रिया सुरू झाल्यानंतर राज्य सरकारने मराठा आरक्षण लागू केले आहे. त्यामुळे मेडिकल पीजीसाठी हे आरक्षण लागू करण्याचा निर्णय अवैध असल्याचा निर्वाळा मुंबई हायकोर्टाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठाने दिला. त्यामुळे खुल्या प्रवर्गातील विद्यार्थ्यांना मोठा दिलासा मिळाला असून राज्य सरकारला मात्र दणका बसला आहे.
मेडिकल पदव्युत्तर कोर्सच्या रेडिऑलॉजी, मेडिसिन, डेंटल सर्जरी यासह इतर विषयांच्या प्रवेशप्रक्रियेत मराठा आरक्षण लागू करण्याच्या निर्णयाला आव्हान देणाऱ्या याचिकांवर न्या. सुनील शुक्रे आणि न्या. पुष्पा गनेडीवाल यांच्या खंडपीठाने गुरुवारी निकाल दिला.
न्यायालयाने दिलेल्या निकालानुसार, मेडिकल पदव्युत्तरच्या डेंटलची प्रवेश प्रक्रिया १६ ऑक्टोबर २०१८ तर मेडिकल कोर्सची २ नोव्हेंबरला सुरू झाली. तर राज्य सरकारने १३ नोव्हेंबर २०१८ ला मराठा आरक्षण लागू केले. एसईबीसी कायद्यातील कलम १६ (२) अनुसार ज्या कोर्सेसची प्रवेश प्रक्रिया सुरू झाली आहे, त्यांना मराठा आरक्षण लागू होणार नाही, असे नमूद केले आहे. परंतु, कायद्यातील तरतुदींचे पालन न करताच मेडिकल पीजी कोर्सला मराठा आरक्षण पूर्वलक्षीप्रभावाने लागू करण्यात आले आहे. त्यामुळे चालू शैक्षणिक सत्रात मेडिकल पीजीच्या प्रवेश प्रक्रियेकरिता राज्य सरकारने २७ मार्च २०१९ आणि त्यानंतर जाहिर केलेली मेडिकल पीजीची प्रवेशयादी अवैध ठरते आहे, असे निकालात नमूद केले आहे. त्यामुळे राज्य सरकारने मेडिकल, डेंटल व सर्जरीकरिता मराठा आरक्षण लागू करण्यापूर्वी अस्तित्वात असलेले नियम, आरक्षणाच्या कायद्याच्या अनुषंगाने नवीन प्रवेशयादी तयार करावी, त्या प्रवेशयादीनुसार प्रक्रिया पूर्ण करावी, असा आदेश न्यायालयाने दिला आहे.
दरम्यान, राज्य सरकारने ८ मार्च रोजी मेडिकल कोर्सच्या प्रवेशाला मराठा आरक्षण लागू करण्यात येत असल्याबाबतचे पत्र संकेतस्थळावर दिले होते. त्यामुळे त्या तारखेनंतर सुरू करण्यात आलेल्या मेडिकल कोर्सच्या प्रवेशप्रक्रियेला मराठा आरक्षण लागू करण्याबाबतचा प्रश्न हा मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयात प्रलंबित असलेल्या याचिकांच्या निकालाच्या अधीन राहील, असेही न्या. शुक्रे यांनी निकाल वाचून दाखवताना स्पष्ट केले आहे. त्यामुळे मराठा आरक्षणाच्या वैधतेला आव्हान देणाऱ्या याचिकांच्या निकालावर इतर कोर्सेसला लागू केलेले आरक्षण अवलंबून राहणार आहे.
दरम्यान, राज्य सरकारतर्फे बाजू मांडताना विशेष सरकारी वकील सुनील मनोहर यांनी, विद्यार्थ्यांनी फार विलंबाने मराठा आरक्षणाला आव्हान दिल्याचा दावा केला होता. राज्य सरकारचा हा दावादेखील न्यायालयाने फेटाळून लावला आहे. २७ मार्चनंतर सीट मॅट्रिक्स घोषित झाल्यानंतर विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या आरक्षित जागा कमी झाल्याचे कळाले होते. त्यामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांनी योग्यवेळीच न्यायालयात दाद मागितली असल्याचे निकालात नमूद केले आहे. राज्य सरकारने वेबसाइटवर मराठा आरक्षण लागू होणार, इतकेच नमूद केले होते. हे आरक्षण पदवी अथवा पदव्युत्तर कोर्सला याच शैक्षणिक सत्रापासून लागू होणार, असे स्पष्टपणे नमूद केलेले नव्हते. त्यामुळे सीट मॅट्रिक्स जाहीर झाले तेव्हा ७२ जागांवरून केवळ २२ जागाच झाल्या. तेव्हा विद्यार्थ्यांनी न्यायालयात दाद मागितली आहे. राज्य सरकारने मराठा आरक्षणाला लागू करण्याबाबत संभ्रम निर्माण केला. तसेच विद्यार्थ्यांना स्पष्ट माहिती न देता अंधारात ठेवून कायदा पूर्वलक्षीप्रभावाने लागू केला आहे, असा दावा याचिकाकर्त्यांतर्फे करण्यात आला होता. हा दावा न्यायालयानेही योग्य ठरवित यंदाच्या शैक्षणिक सत्रात मेडिकल पीजीला मराठा आरक्षण लागू होणार नाही, असे स्पष्ट केले.
याचिकाकर्त्यांतर्फे अॅड. सुबोध धर्माधिकारी, अॅड. अश्विन देशपांडे यांनी तर राज्य सरकारतर्फे वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता सुनील मनोहर, अतिरिक्त सरकारी वकील केतकी जोशी यांनी बाजू मांडली.
३५० जागांचे वाटप रद्द
राज्य सरकारने मेडिकल पीजी कोर्सला १६ टक्के मराठा आरक्षण लागू केले होते. त्यामुळे राज्यात सुमारे ३५० मराठा विद्यार्थ्यांना प्रवेशयादीत स्थान देण्यात आले होते. मात्र, मुंबई हायकोर्टाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठाच्या निकालानंतर या विद्यार्थ्यांची नावे प्रवेशयादीतून काढण्याची वेळ राज्य सरकावर आली आहे. त्यास्थितीत उच्च न्यायालयाने दिलेल्या निकालाला सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात दाद मागता यावी, यासाठी निकालाला स्थगिती द्यावी, अशी विनंती राज्य सरकारतर्फे करण्यात आली. त्यावर आज, शुक्रवारी सुनावणी होण्याची शक्यता आहे.
नागपूर : दारू पिऊन नेहमी वाद घालणाऱ्या पतीने क्षुल्लक कारणावरून पत्नीची निर्घृण हत्या केली. ही घटना सावनेर तालुक्यातील खामगाव येथे मंगळवारी मध्यरात्री घडली. अंगद केवलदास महंत (६२) असे आरोपीचे नाव असून त्याने पत्नी करुणा अंगद महंत (५५) असे मृत महिलेचे नाव आहे.
याप्रकरणी पोलिसांनी आरोपी अंगद महंत याला अटक केली आहे. घटनेच्या दिवशी करुणा या पाणी भरण्यासाठी मध्यरात्रीदरम्यान उठल्या होत्या.
याच वेळी अंगद यांनी त्यांच्यासोबत शुल्लक कारणावरुन वाद घातला. दोघांमधील वाद वाढल्यानंतर अंगद यांनी पत्नीवर विळ्याने हल्ला चढविला. यात त्यांचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला.
नागपूर : १९९९च्या सुपर चक्रीवादळानंतरचे सर्वांत विध्वंसक असणारे फनी वादळ आज, शुक्रवारी ओडिशाच्या पूर्व किनारपट्टीवर धडकले. या वेळ चक्रीवादळाचा ताशी वेग १८५ किमी इतका होता. मात्र काही वेळानंतर त्यात वाढ होत तो २४० प्रति किमी इतका झाला आहे. ओडिशाच्या पूर्व किनारपट्टीच्या भागात पावसालाही सुरुवात झाली आहे पुरीच्या किनारपट्टीवर अनेक झाडे कोसळल्याचे वृत्त आहे. यात पुरीमधील सखीगोपाळ भागात एका व्यक्तीचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. ओडिशात ५ ते ६ तास वादळाचा परिणाम जाणवणार असल्याचे हवामान विभागाने म्हटले आहे.
या चक्रीवादळामुळे मनुष्यहानी टाळता यावी यासाठी राज्याच्या समुद्रकिनाऱ्याच्या आसपास राहणाऱ्या सुमारे लाखो नागरिकांना तेथून स्थलांतरित करण्यात आले आहे. या वादळाचा सामना करण्यासाठी राज्य व केंद्र सरकारकडून आवश्यक खबरदारी घेतली जात आहे. या संदर्भात दिलासा देणारे वृत्त म्हणजे या चक्रीवादळाचा वेग सकाळी ११ वाजल्यानंतर मंदावणार असल्याचे हवामान विभागाने स्पष्ट केले आहे.
चक्रीवादळामुळे निर्माण होणाऱ्या परिस्थितीशी दोन हात करण्यासाठी प्रशासन सज्ज झाले असून केंद्रीय गृहमंत्रालयाने १९३८ हा हेल्पलाइन क्रमांक जारी केला. या बरोबरत आंध्र प्रदेशातील विखाखापट्टणमच्या किनारपट्टीवरही जोरदार वारे वाहण्यास सुरुवात झाली आहे. दरम्यान, आज रात्री फनी चक्रीवादळ बंगालमध्ये धडकरणार असल्याचे हवामान विभागाने सांगितले आहे.
ओडिशासह आंध्र प्रदेश आणि पश्चिम बंगाल या राज्यांना ‘फनी’चा फटका बसण्याचा अंदाज व्यक्त करण्यात आला होता. ओडिशातील पुरीनजीकच्या किनारी शुक्रवारी सध्याकाळी सुमारे ताशी १७० ते १८० किमी वेगाने हे वादळ धडकण्याची शक्यता हवामान विभागाने वर्तवली होती. वादळाचा वेग ताशी २०० किमीपर्यंतही जाऊ शकतो, असे हवामानतज्ज्ञांनी म्हटले होते. वादळाचा सर्वाधिक फटका बसणाऱ्या ओडिशातील एकूण १३ जिल्ह्यांमधील सुमारे साडेअकरा लाख नागरिकांना फनीचा धोका असल्याने त्यांना सुरक्षितस्थळी हलवण्याचे काम वेगाने सुरू करण्यात आले.
दरम्यान, पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी गुरुवारी ‘फनी’च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर उच्चस्तरीय बैठक बोलावली होती. यात त्यांनी या चक्रीवादळाचा सामना करण्यासाठी करण्यात आलेल्या उपाययोजनांचा आढावा घेतला. दुसरीकडे नागरी हवाई उड्डाणमंत्री सुरेश प्रभू यांनी सर्व संबंधित विमानतळ प्राधिकरणांना दक्ष राहण्याच्या सूचना दिल्या आहेत.
‘एनडीआरएफ’ची ८१ पथके तैनात
‘फनी’च्या तडाख्याचा सामना करण्यासाठी राष्ट्रीय आपत्ती कृती दलाची (एनडीआरएफ) ८१ पथके तैनात करण्यात आली आहेत. ओडिशा, आंध्र प्रदेश आणि पश्चिम बंगालच्या किनारपट्टी भागांत जवळपास ५० पथक यापूर्वीच सज्ज करण्यात आली आहेत, तर अन्य ३१ पथकेही तैनात करण्यात आली आहेत. या पथकांमध्ये चार हजारहून अधिक विशेष कर्मचाऱ्यांचा समावेश आहे, असे ‘एनडीआरएफ’चे प्रमुख एस. एन. प्रधान यांनी सांगितले.
९५ गाड्या रद्द
‘फनी’च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर मागील दोन दिवसांत सुमारे ९५ रेल्वेगाड्या रद्द करण्यात आल्या आहेत. रद्द किंवा अन्य मार्गांवर वळवण्यात आलेल्या गाड्यांतील प्रवाशांनी निर्धारित वेळेनंतर तीन दिवसांत पैशाची मागणी केल्यास त्यांना पूर्ण परतावा दिला जाईल, असे रेल्वे प्रशासनाने म्हटले आहे. रेल्वेने बुधवारी ८१ गाड्या रद्द केल्या होत्या.
नागपूर : निवडणुकीत भाजपला फायदा करून देण्यापेक्षा मी मरण पत्करेन असे प्रतिपादन काँग्रेसच्या राष्ट्रीय सरचिटणीस आणि पूर्व उत्तर प्रदेशच्या प्रभारी प्रियंका गांधी यांनी गुरुवारी केले. रायबरेलीमध्ये एका मुलाखतीदरम्यान प्रियंका यांना विचारण्यात प्रश्नाला उत्तर देताना त्यांनी ही प्रतिक्रिया दिली.
काही जागांवर काँग्रेसच्या उमेदवारांमुळे भाजपला फायदा होईल, असे विचारताच प्रियंका म्हणाल्या, ‘काँग्रेसच्या प्रत्येक उमेदवाराला अभ्यासाअंती निवडणूक रिंगणात उतरवण्यात आले आहे. आम्ही या निवडणुकीकडे एक युद्ध म्हणून पाहत आहोत. प्रत्येक ठिकाणी आम्ही सक्षम उमेदवार दिला आहे. आमच्या उमेदवारामुळे भाजपला फायदा होईल अशी परिस्थिती कुठेही नाही किंवा आमच्यामुळे भाजपला फायदा होईल असे वातावरणही नाही. किंबहुना भाजपला फायदा होईल असा एकही उमेदवार आम्ही दिलेला नाही. भाजपला फायदा करून देण्यापेक्षा मी मरण पत्करेन.’
‘नागरिकांचा सन्मान म्हणजे राष्ट्रवाद’
‘देशावर आणि नागरिकांवर प्रेम करणे, त्यांचा सन्माण राखणे हा राष्ट्रवादाचा खरा अर्थ आहे. परंतु, भाजप कोणत्याच गोष्टीत हा सन्मान राखताना दिसत नाही,’ अशी टीका प्रियंका यांनी अन्य एका वृत्तसंस्थेला दिलेल्या मुलाखतीत केली. ‘मी प्रचारासाठी जिथे जिथे फिरले, तिथे नागरिकांमध्ये सरकारविरोधात असंतोष दिसून आला. देशातील नागरिक पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांना २३ मे रोजी निवडणूक निकालातून योग्य तो संदेश देईल. कोणीही नागरिकांचा आवाज, त्यांची विचारसरणी दाबत असेल, तर त्याचे परिणामही भोगावे लागतील’, असे त्या यावेळी म्हणाल्या.
निवडणूक प्रचाराच्या धामधुमीत प्रियंका यांनी गुरुवारी रायबरेलीतील कुचरिया गावातील गारूड्यांच्या वस्तीला भेट देऊन त्यांच्याशी चर्चा केली. इतकेच नव्हे, तर गारूड्यांच्या टोपलीतून एक साप हातात पकडून त्या काही वेळ त्याच्याशी खेळत राहिल्या.
Nagpur : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited Gadchiroli on Thursday afternoon and paid condolences to the jawans who were killed in a landmine blast triggered by the Naxalites near village Jambhulkheda in Kurkheda taluka on May 1. The CM laid wreaths on the mortal remains of jawans and also met their kin and consoled them. He assured all possible help by the State Government to the jawans’ families.
Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir, Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister of State for Home Seepak Kesarkar, District Incharge Minister Ambrishrao Atram, Gadchiroli MP Ashok Nete, ZP President Yogita Bhandekar, MLAs Dr Deorao Holi, Krishna Gajbhe, Director General of Police Subodh Jaiswal, Rajendra Singh, Additional DG, Ankush Shinde, DIG, ANO, Shekhar Singh, District Collector, Shailesh Balkawde, SP, also paid condolences by laying wreaths on the mortal remains of the jawans. The CM later held a meeting of the senior police officers and took details of the incident. The dead bodies of jawans were then sent to their native places for the funeral.
The body of a jawan from Beed district will be flown to Pune and then will be taken to his native place Patoda, it was informed. The landmine blast triggered by the Naxalites near village Jambhulkheda in Kurkheda taluka killed 16 persons, including 15 policemen of the Quick Response Team (QRT) of the District Police and a bus driver on Wednesday morning. The village is located at just 6 kms away from the taluka place of Kurkheda and always remains busy with hundreds of vehicles plying on it throughout the day.
According to reports, these jawans were going for the Anti-Naxal operations in the area in a vehicle at around 11.30 pm. When the vehicle reached near village Jambhulkheda, it was blown up a powerful landmine blast which was planted under a culvert on the road. The blast was so powerful that the vehicle was broken into small pieces and thrown in various directions in the area. The bodies of jawans and their belongings were also scattered in the area. The entire traffic on Kurkheda-Korchi highway had come to a standstill due to the incident.
As per the order of senior officer, the police jawans were heading towards village Dadapur where 27 vehicles of a private contractor were burnt down by the Naxalites on April 30 night. The Naxalites had already planned an ambush. Police reinforcement was dispatched to the area following the incident and they launched the Anti-Naxal Operations.
This is one of the deadliest attacks of the Maoists on the police party in the district in which 16 policemen lost their lives. The jawans who were killed were Sahudas Madavi, a resident of Chikhli (Kurkheda), Pramod Bhoyar, Desaiganj, Raju Gaikwad, Mehkar (Buldana), Kishor Bobate, Armori, Santosh Chavan, Bramhanwada (Hingoli), Sarjerao Kharde, Aland (Buldana), Dayaram Sahare, Dighori (Bhandara), Bhupesh Walode, Lakhni (Bhandara), Arif Sheikh, Patoda (Beed), Yogaji Halami Mohgaon, (Kurkheda), Puranshaha Duga, Bhakrondi (Armori), Laxman Kodape, Yengalkheda (Kurkheda), Amrut Bhadae, Chinchghat (Nagpur), Agraman Rahate, Taroda (Yavatmal) and Nitin Ghodmare, Kumbahali (Bhandara).
नागपूर : गडचिरोली जिल्ह्यात पूल, रस्ते बांधणीची कामं बंद करा, अशी धमकी नक्षलवाद्यांनी केंद्र आणि राज्य सरकारला दिली आहे. सुरक्षा दलाच्या जवानांवर हल्ला केल्यानंतरच्या दुसऱ्याच दिवशी उत्तर गडचिरोलीत नक्षलवाद्यांनी ठिकठिकाणी पोस्टर्स लावले आहेत. त्यातून सरकारला धमकी देण्यात आली आहे.
बुधवारी दुपारी सी-६० कमांडोजची एक जीप भुसूरुंग स्फोट करून नक्षलवाद्यांनी उडवून दिली होती. या स्फोटात एकूण १६ जवान ठार झाले होते. यानंतर लगेचच दुसऱ्या दिवशी गडचिरोलीत ठिकठिकाणी धमकीचे पोस्टर्स लावण्यात आले आहेत. गडचिरोलीत रस्ते व पूल बांधणं बंद करा, असं या पोस्टर्समधून सांगण्यात आलं आहे.
भांडवलदारांची चमचेगिरी करणाऱ्यांचे मनसूबे पूर्ण होऊ देणार नाही, असा मजकूर या पोस्टर्सवर लिहिण्यात आला आहे. तसंच, काही दिवसांपूर्वी सुरक्षा दलाने गडचिरोलीत ४० नक्षलवाद्यांना कंठस्नान घातले होते. त्यानंतर २६ एप्रिल २०१९ ला रामको नारकोटी हिचा सुरक्षा दलाने खात्मा केला होता. या दोन्ही घटनांचा निषेध नक्षलवाद्यांनी केला आहे. तर पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी, मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्यावर टीकाही करण्यात आली आहे.
स्थानिक पोलीस आयुक्त आणि इतर वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांनी आज घटनास्थळाला भेट दिली आहे. या भ्याड हल्ल्याचा मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, वनमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांनी निषेध केला आहे.
Nagpur : Once again baring their violent face after a long gap, Naxalites burnt down as many as 36 vehicles belonging to a private contractor at village Dadapur in Kurkheda taluka on Tuesday night. According to reports, more than 150 Naxalites armed with weapons entered the village, which is around 15 kilometers from the taluka headquarters of Kurkheda in north Gadchiroli, and set the vehicles on fire after breaking their diesel tanks.
Besides vehicles like trucks, tractors and road rollers, the outlaws also burnt down two generators and two office-sheds of the contractor. All these vehicles were parked near the camp set up by the contractor for the construction of road. Presently the construction of Purada-Malewada-Yerkad National Highway No. 136 has been going on for the last few days. A company from Durg (Chhattisgarh) Amar Infrastructure Limited was doing this work, it was reported.

केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) अभी थोड़ी देर में परिणाम घोषित करेगा। cbse 2019: अभी अभी सूचना मिली है कि 12वीं का परिणाम घोषित होने वाला है। आपको बता दें कि आज सुबह तक परिणामों के जारी होने की सही तारीख से संबंधित कोई पुष्टि नहीं हुई थी। इससे पहले, बोर्ड के एक अधिकारी ने कहा था कि सीबीएसई बोर्ड परीक्षा परिणाम मई के तीसरे सप्ताह में जारी किया जाएगा।
CBSE 10वीं बोर्ड परीक्षा 2019 के लिए लगभग 18.19 लाख छात्र उपस्थित हुए हैं। CBSE कक्षा 10वीं बोर्ड की परीक्षाएं 21 फरवरी से 29 मार्च के बीच आयोजित की गई थीं। अंतिम वर्ष के लिए कुल उत्तीर्ण प्रतिशत 87.60 प्रतिशत था। इसके साथ ही, CBSE कक्षा 12 बोर्ड परीक्षा 2019 के लिए लगभग 13 लाख उम्मीदवार उपस्थित हुए हैं।

Masood Azhar is the leader of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), which carried out a suicide bombing in February killing 40 troops in Indian-administered Kashmir. The UN move comes after China dropped its objection to the listing. India hailed it as a diplomatic victory. Masood Azhar will be subject to an assets freeze and a travel ban.

Nagpur : With heatwave intensifying in several parts of the country, United State’s El Dorado Weather has released a list of 10 hottest cities in the World on Tuesday. Among them, Bramhapuri, Chandrapur, Nagpur and Wardha of Vidarbha placed in the list with maximum temperature of above 45 degree Celsius. Bramhapuri recorded 47 degree Celsius while Chandrapur, Nagpur and Wardha experienced 46.4, 46.3 and 45.9 degree Celsius respectively on Tuesday. Matam region of Senegal was the hottest place in the world with 47.4 degree Celsius while Uttar Pradesh’s Banda was second in the list with 47.2 degree Celsius. Banda was hottest in the country and Bramhapuri second in the country.
According to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), “Severe heatwave conditions very likely to occur at isolated places over Akola, Amravati, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Washim, Yavatmal and Wardha districts of Vidarbha in next 24 hours.” The citizens are facing hardships due to hot weather along with heatwaves prevailed in the district. The situation leads people to feel the mercury impact four per cent higher as compared to original weather condition. The weather condition is turning hot from 8.30 am onwards in the city every day. Now, the situation seems that the weather will turn hotter in the month of May. Generally, the temperature touches 45 degrees Celsius in May every year.
But this time, it touched in April itself. Citizens preferred to stay at homes to avoid the summer scorch. The temperature also impacted city roads which are adorning a deserted look during day time. Shortage of water in city dams is adding to inconvenience of everyone to get potable water on daily basis.
Many places are dependent on tanker services to get water. IMD also issued advisory to avoid heat during day time for next few days. Local Government and private hospitals are also prepared to handle sunstroke cases in the city. Many hospitals increased beds in their wards also. As per the heat action plan of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), the authority provided water filters, green cloths and taking other precautions in the administrative buildings, hospitals, public places and schools.
Nagpur : Budget carrier IndiGoNSE 1.17 % was forced to ground one of its Airbus A320 Neos at the Nagpur airport after the pilot made a hard-landing on arrival from Kochi on Sunday, according to sources at the airline and at the airport.
A senior Nagpur airport official confirmed to PTI the grounding of the IndiGo plane since April 28. But the airline, in a statement claimed that the said aircraft is back in operations, without disclosing since when, though.
“IndiGo was forced to ground one of its A320 Neo planes, VT-IZS, on April 28 when the pilot made a hard-landing at the Nagpur airport. The aircraft landed on the nosewheel instead of the rear wheels, which was a grave safety risk,” the source said. The hard-landing also resulted in damages to the plane, he added.
A senior DGCA official said the aviation regulator is looking into the incident, adding both the pilots have been grounded pending a probe.
An airline spokesperson however admitted that it s flight had a “suspected” hard-landing. “On April 28, an A320 Neo (VT-IZS) the pilot reported a suspected hard-landing while landing at Nagpur. The aircraft was inspected satisfactorily,” IndiGo said in the statement.
“The aircraft is back into operations,” IndiGo claimed, even though the plane is on ground since day of the incident on April 28, as per a global flight tracking website Flightradar24, the screenshot of which was shared with the airline.

नागपूर : लोकसभा निवडणुकीचे चार टप्पे पार पडले असून अजून तीन टप्पे बाकी आहे. या चार टप्प्यांमध्ये निवडणूक आयोगाने तब्बल तीन हजार कोटींचा काळा पैसा जप्त केला आहे. मत मिळवण्यासाठी पैसे आणि दारुच्या वाटपाचे प्रमाण तसूभर ही कमी झाले नसून त्याच्यात वाढच झाली असल्याचेही स्पष्ट झाले आहे.
भारतातील पहिल्या निवडणुकीपासूनच मतांसाठी मागच्या दाराने पैशांचा आणि दारुचे वाटप केले जातो. या खर्चाचा कोणताही हिशोब दिला जात नाही. हा साराच पैसा काळा पैसा असतो. यामुळेच या अवैध पैसे वाटपावर निवडणूक आयोगाची करडी नजर असते. यावर्षी हे प्रकार कमी करण्यासाठी निवडणूक आयोगाने कठोर पावलं उचलली होती. पण त्याचा काहीच परिणाम झालेला नाही. देशभर सर्वत्रच काळ्या पैशाचा सुळसुळाट आहे. आतापर्यंत ३००० कोटी रुपयांचा काळा पैसा निवडणूक आयोगाने जप्त केला आहे. अजून निवडणुकांचे तीन टप्पे बाकी आहेत. यावेळी १०,००० कोटी रुपये जप्त केले जातील असा अंदाज निवडणूक आयोगाने वर्तवला आहे. एका स्वयंसेवी संस्थेच्या सर्वेक्षणानुसार एकूण काळा पैशाचा आकडा यंदा १ लाख कोटीचा आकडा पार करेल. हा अंदाज खरा ठरल्यास २०१९ची लोकसभा निवडणूक सर्वात महागडी निवडणूक ठरेल.
यावेळी तपास यंत्रणा आणि निवडणूक आयोगामध्ये खटकेही उडत आहेत. तपास यंत्रणांनी निष्पक्ष कारवाई करावी असा सल्लाच निवडणूक आयोगाने तपास यंत्रणांना दिला आहे. आतापर्यंत तपास यंत्रणांनी मध्यप्रदेशात काँग्रेसच्या नेत्यांच्या घरावर तर तामिळनाडूत डीएमके नेत्यांच्या घरावर छापे मारले आहेत.
