Nagpur : Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister, spent Sunday morning at Ramgiri here watching the telecast of the episode Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’. After that, he said that the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ would provide a boost to water conservation. It was the first episode of the programme after Modi took over as Prime Minister for the second consecutive term. In the programme, Prime Minister spoke on water conservation and also referred to the letter he wrote to Sarpanch of all Gram Panchayats in the country asking them to conserve water.
Also, he mentioned that in many villages people had responded positively to his appeal and started efforts to save water. Fadnavis said that in Maharashtra also ‘Jalyukta Shivar Abhiyan’ had helped a lot in ensuring irrigation for crops and increased availability of drinking water. People had participated wholeheartedly in the initiative, resulting in effective implementation. “I am sure that people will continue supporting water conservation initiatives and respond positively to the appeal of Prime Minister,” said the Chief Minister.
नागपूर : घटस्फोटित पुरुषांसोबत लग्न करून त्यांची फसवणूक करणाऱ्या शिक्षिकेची ठगबाजी सुरू असून, या शिक्षिकेने आणखी एकाला तोतया पोलिसांच्या मदतीने गंडा घातल्याचा प्रकार समोर आला आहे. याप्रकरणी जरीपटका पोलिसांनी शिक्षिकेसह तिच्या साथीदारांविरुद्ध फसवणुकीचा गुन्हा दाखल करून तपास सुरू केला आहे.
समराला सीमा मुक्तार अहमद अन्सारी ऊर्फ समीरा फातिमा मो. तारीक अनिस, रेहला जमाल मुक्तार अहमद अन्सारी, आतिल अन्सारी, नवीन महाजन, बाबाभाई व डॉ. उज्ज्वला कलंत्री अशी गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आलेल्यांची नावे आहेत. मुद्दसर मोमीन यांनी दिलेल्या तक्रारीवरून हा गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला. समराला ऊर्फ समीराविरुद्ध यापूर्वीही मानकापूर पोलिस स्टेशनमध्ये फसवणुकीचा गुन्हा दाखल आहे. समराला अन्सारी मोमिनपुऱ्यातील इस्लामिया हायस्कूल कनिष्ठ महाविद्यालयात शिक्षिका आहे.
पोलिसांकडून मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, २०१० मध्ये समरालाचे भिवंडी येथील इमरान अन्सारीसोबत लग्न झाले होते. सतत वाद होत असल्याने तिने इमरानपासून घटस्फोट घेतला. १६ एप्रिल २०१३ मध्ये तिने यशोधरानगर येथील नजमून शाकीब यांच्याशी लग्न केले. काही दिवसांनी त्यांच्यापासूनही ‘फारकत’ घेतली. यानंतर ‘शादी डॉट कॉम’ या संकेतस्थळावर तिची ओळख मूळ औरंगाबाद येथील मुदस्सर मोमीन (वय ३८) यांच्यासोबत झाली. ते टीव्ही दुरुस्तीची कामे करतात. तिने मुद्दसर यांना नागपुरात बोलाविले. मुद्दसर यांनी सुगतनगरमध्ये भाड्याने घर घेतले. समराला व रेहला जमाल मुख्तार अहमद अन्सारी (रा. येरखेडा) या दोघींनी मुद्दसर यांना समरालाचे दुसरेच लग्न असल्याचे सांगून त्यांचा विश्वास संपादन केला. प्रत्यक्षात तिचे हे पाचवे लग्न होते.
मुद्दसर यांच्यासोबत लग्नाची बोलणी झाली. समरालाने त्यांच्याकडून एक लाख रुपये घेतले. त्यानंतर समराला ही मुद्दसर यांच्यासोबत वाद घालायला लागली. २३ एप्रिलला समराला ही मुद्दस्सर यांना आर. एस. हॉटेल घेऊन गेली. तेथे त्यांना बळजबरीने दारू पाजली. त्यांचे अश्लील छायाचित्र व व्हिडीओ काढले. याद्वारे तिने साथीदारांच्या मदतीने अत्याचाराच्या गुन्ह्यात अडकविण्याची धमकी दिली. साथीदार पोलिस असल्याची बतावणी करून तिने पुन्हा मुद्दस्सर यांच्याकडून पैसे उकळले. समराला ही फसवणूक करीत असल्याचे कळताच मुद्दस्सर यांनी जरीपटका पोलिस स्टेशन गाठून तक्रार दिली. पोलिसांनी फसवणुकीचा गुन्हा दाखल केला.
गर्भपाताचे बनावट प्रमाणपत्र, शाळेचीही फसवणूक
गर्भपात झाल्याचे बनावट प्रमाणत्र सादर करून समरालाने शाळेचीही फसवणूक केल्याची माहिती पोलिसांनी दिली. तिने कामठीतील डॉ. उज्ज्वला कलंत्री यांच्याकडून गर्भपात झाल्याचे बनावट प्रमाणपत्र तयार केले. त्यामुळे कलंत्री यांच्याविरुद्ध गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला.
याशिवाय, तिने गणेश ऊर्फ गणपत याच्या मदतीने मेयोचे डॉ. खोब्रागडे यांच्या नावानेही प्रमाणपत्र तयार करुन घेतले. पोलिसांनी माहिती काढली असता डॉ. खोब्रागडे यांचे सात वर्षांपूर्वीच निधन झाल्याचे समोर आले. या प्रमाणपत्राच्या आधारे समरालाने पगारी रजा व वेतन घेऊन शाळेचीही फसवणूक केली.
नागपूर : राज्य सरकारने विदर्भ राज्य आंदोलन समितीला वीज प्रश्न व देयकांबाबत दिलेल्या आश्वासनाची आठवण करून देण्यासाठी १ ऑगस्टला सरकारचा निषेध म्हणून विदर्भातील शंभर तालुक्यात विजेच्या देयकाची होळी करण्यात येणार आहे. ९ ऑगस्टला (क्रांतीदिनी) राज्याचे ऊर्जामंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांच्या घरावर संविधान चौक ते कोराडी असा वीज व विदर्भ मार्च काढण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला. आमदार निवास सभागृहात समितीच्या विदर्भस्तरीय राज्य कार्यकारिणीच्या बैठकीत हा निर्णय घेण्यात आला.
बैठकीला विदर्भ आंदोलनाचे नेते अॅड. वामनराव चटप, मुख्य संयोजक राम नेवले, महिला आघाडी अध्यक्षा रंजना मामर्डे, अर्थतज्ज्ञ डॉ. श्रीनिवास खांदेवाले, प्रबीरकुमार चक्रवर्ती आदींनी मार्गदर्शन केले. यासोबतच प्रा. पुरूषोत्तम पाटील, राजेंद्र आगरकर, सुनील वडस्कर, गणेश तायडे, अॅड. सुरेश वानखेडे, अशोक पोरट्टीवार, मुकेश मासुरकर, रजनी शुक्ला, कैलास फाटे, देविदास लांजेवार, रफीक रंगरेज, मंगलमुर्ती सोनकुसरे, अरूण केदार, परशुराम सातार आदींचीही भाषणे झाली.
ऊर्जामंत्री बावनकुळे यांच्याशी झालेल्या चर्चेनंतर व त्यांनी समितीच्या तीन मागण्या लेखी स्वरूपात मान्य केल्या. पुढील दोन मागण्यांसाठी एक महिन्याचा वेळ मागितला होता. त्यामुळे ३ जूनपर्यंत समितीने आंदोलन पुढे ढकलले होते. त्याला महिना झाल्याने समितीच्या कार्यकारिणीची बैठक होऊन अनेक निर्णय घेण्यात आले. यात विदर्भातील विजेचेदर निम्मे करावे, बिलावरील स्थिर आकार म्हणजे मीटर भाडे न देण्याचा निर्णय, वहन आकार १.२८ रूपये प्रति युनीट वीज शुल्क १६ टक्के इंदन समायोजन कर आदी विदर्भातील जनतेला लुटणाऱ्या रकमेत कपात करण्याची मागणी करण्यात आली. नागपूर शहरातून एसएनडीएलला हद्दपार करावे, झोपडपट्टी, व्यापारी ते कारखानदार यांच्याकडून मोठ्या विजेची बिले देऊन होणारा खिसेकापूपणा रोखावा, याकडेही लक्ष वेधण्यात आले.
विदर्भवादी लढविणार ३२ जागा
विदर्भ राज्य आंदोलन समिती येत्या विधानसभेच्या ६२ पैकी ३२ जागा लढविणार आहे. या मतदारासंघाची चाचपणीही करण्यात आली. समिती विदर्भ निर्माण महामंचासोबत निवडणूक लढविणार आहे. त्याची तयारीही करण्यात आल्याचे सांगण्यात आले. बैठकीत दोनशेहून अधिक पदाधिकारी उपस्थित होते.
नागपूर : बंगालच्या उपसागरातील कमी दाबाचा पट्टा अधिक तीव्र झाल्याने विदर्भात पुढील चार दिवस सर्वदूर मुसळधार पावसाची शक्यता आहे. यात १ ते ३ जुलैदरम्यान भंडारा, गोंदिया, चंद्रपूर, गडचिरोली आणि यवतमाळ या जिल्ह्यांमध्ये तीव्र अतिवृष्टीचा इशारा देण्यात आला आहे. तेथील प्रशासनाने सतर्क राहावे, अशी सूचनाही देण्यात आली आहे.
गेल्या चार दिवसांपासून विदर्भात मान्सून समाधानकारकपणे बरसण्यास सुरुवात झाली आहे. त्यामुळे शेतकऱ्यांमध्ये समाधान व्यक्त होत आहे. शनिवारी नागपुरात पावसाच्या दमदार सरींनी हजेरी लावली. शनिवारी झालेल्या मुसळधार पावसाने नागपूकरांना आनंद बहाल केला. यंदाच्या मोसमात शनिवारी पहिल्यांदा विदर्भातील सर्वच जिल्ह्यांमध्ये पावसाने दमदार हजेरी लावली. यात चंद्रपूर येथे सर्वाधिक ३६ मिलिमीटर तर वाशीम येथे सगळ्यात कमी २ मिलिमीटर पावसाची नोंद करण्यात आली. रविवारी नागपुरात दिवसभर ढगाळ वातावरण होते. मात्र फारसा पाऊस झाला नाही.
बंगालच्या उपसागरातील कमी दाबाचा पट्टा अधिक तीव्र होत चालला आहे. त्यामुळे पुढील काही दिवस चांगल्या पावसाची शक्यता आहे. ३० जूनपासून छत्तीसगड, तेलंगण, विदर्भ आणि पूर्व मध्य प्रदेश या भागांत अतिवृष्टीची शक्यता वर्तविण्यात आली आहे. या कालावधीत जिल्ह्यांमध्ये २४ तासांत २०४ मिलिमीटरहून अधिक पावसाची शक्यता वर्तविण्यात आली आहे. प्रशासनाने या काळात सतर्क राहावे, अशी सूचना देण्यात आली आहे.
नागपुर : महामेट्रो द्वारा नागपुर में मेट्रो की सेवा शुरू करने से शहर के नागरिकों को बड़े प्रमाण पर फायदा उपलब्ध हो रहा है। इसके साथ ई-साइकिल, बाइसिकल सेवा शेयरिंग बेसिस सभी मेट्रो स्टेशन पर उपलब्ध है। इससे विषम परिस्थिति उत्पन्न होने पर दिव्यांगों और वृद्धों की सुविधा के लिए नागपुर मेट्रो की ओर से इवेक्यूएशन चेयर की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई है। इवेक्यूएशन कुर्सी की विशेषता यह है कि चेयर में टायर के साथ ही स्लाइड की भी व्यवस्था है जिससे सीढ़ियों पर भी उतार चढ़ाव किया जा सकता है। नागपुर मेट्रो रेल प्रकल्प में मुख्य सुविधा और सुरक्षा के संदभ्र में कई उपक्रमों का उपयोग किया है जिसमें हिंगना मार्ग स्थित लिटिल वुड में सेफ्टी पार्क और इवेक्यूएशन चेयर की सुविधा पूरे देश के मेट्रो रेल प्रकल्प में सिर्फ नागपुर मेट्राे में ही उपलब्ध है।
सीताबर्डी स्थित एयरपोर्ट मेट्रो स्टेशन पर प्रायोगिक तौर पर चेयर की जांच के लिए मॉक ड्रीन का भी आयोजन किया गया था। जिसमें यह चेयर विषम परिस्थिति में मददगार साबित हुई है। मेट्रो स्टेशन पर बड़े पैमाने पर पार्किंग सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई गई है। सभी सुख-सुविधा का नियोजन यात्रियों की आवश्यकता को ध्यान में रखकर किया गया है। इसके साथ ही ब्रेल साइन, टैकटाइल, विशेष टिकिट काउंटर, दिव्यांगोें के लिए व्हीलचेयर, सीसीटीवी कैमेरा, बेबी केयर रूम, बैगेज स्केनर और सभी स्टेशन पर सुरक्षा रक्षक उपलब्ध है। इन सुविधाओं से मेट्रो को यात्री संख्या बढ़ाने में मदद होगी।
नागपुर : बारह वर्षीय बच्ची ने मोबाइल फोन पर यू-ट्यूब में हैंगिंग की वीडियो फिल्म देखकर फांसी लगा ली। छठीं कक्षा की इस छात्रा का नाम शिखा विनोद राठोड़ है। उसका परिवार करीब 12 साल पहले कामकाज की तलाश में उत्तर प्रदेश से नागपुर आया था। शिखा के माता-पिता बैग बनाने का काम करते हैं।
पुलिस सूत्रों के अनुसार, उत्तरप्रदेश के आगरा निवासी विनोद राठौड़ परिवार के साथ हंसापुरी में (पीपल के पेड़ के पास कदम ज्वेलर्स के पीछे) काकोते के मकान में िकराए से रहते हैं। परिवार में पत्नी, बड़ी बेटी उमा, बेटा अनिल और छोटी बेटी सपना है। शिखा उनकी तीसरी संतान थी। विनोद राठौड़ हंसापुरी में जलेबी का ठेला लगाते हैं। घर में सीट कवर और बैग सिलाई का भी काम करते हैं।
गत 29 जून को शाम करीब 4 बजे उनकी बेटी शिखा ने सीलिंग पंखे में बैग को लगाए जाने वाले बेल्ट से फांसी लगा ली। इसके पहले छोटी बहन सपना के साथ वह हैंगिंग वाला वीडियो देख रही थी। उसे छटपटाते देख सपना भागी और मां को बुला लाई। पिता बाहर गए थे। शिखा को फांसी के फंदे से उतारकर मां तुरंत मेयो अस्पताल पहुंची। बेहोशी की हालत में पड़ी शिखा की आईसीयू में मौत हो गई।
तहसील पुलिस को सूचना दी गई। उपनिरीक्षक एस. बकतवार मेयो अस्पताल पहुंचे और पूरी जानकारी हासिल की। आकस्मिक मृत्यु का मामला दर्ज किया गया है।

Nagpur : Pune- Fifteen people have died and three injured in Pune after a portion of the wall of a residential building fell on temporary shacks of labourers early this morning after heavy rain. Among the dead four children and a woman. Pune received the second highest rainfall on Friday in June since 2010.
Dramatic visuals showed several cars stuck in debris in Pune’s Kondhwa area. The wall crashed down onto tin sheds next to the apartment complex, taking down the parked cars as the ground caved in.
Rescue personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the fire department were at the site of the accident, searching for people who may be stuck. The 12 to 15-feet-high wall collapsed at around 1:45 am, an official said.
The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital. A fire brigade official said those who detailed were from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
The construction work going on barely 40 feet away from the residential building’s wall.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who announced a Rs. 5 lakh compensation for the families of those killed, tweeted. “Extremely saddened to know about loss of lives in the Kondhwa, Pune wall collapse incident. My deepest condolences to the families and prying for speedy recovery of the injured. Directed Pune Collector to conduct an in-depth enquiry.”
“Our team is investigating the reasons behind the incident. Firm action will be taken against those responsible. We will check whether proper permissions were taken and safety measures were followed,” Pune police chief K Venkatesham told reporters.
Pune saw two days of heavy rain on Thursday and Friday. The city has been seeing heavy rain since Thursday. As of last night, Pune received 73.1 millimetres of rain in 24 hours, the second highest rainfall in June since 2010.
Eight people were killed and five injured in rain-related incidents in Maharashtra on Friday.
In Mumbai, three persons were killed and five injured as the city received it first spell of heavy rain this monsoon that marked its most delayed arrival in the city in 45 years.

नागपूर : पोलिसांचा गणवेश घालून वाहनचालकांकडून वसुली करणाऱ्या तोतया पोलिसाला लकडगंज पोलिसांनी अटक केली आहे. त्याच्याकडून पोलिसांचे बनावट ओळखपत्र, रोख व मोटरसायकल जप्त करण्यात आली. दिलीप उद्धवराव टापरे (वय ३२, रा. गाडगेबाबानगर, रमणा मारोती) असे अटकेतील तोतयाचे नाव आहे.
बुधवारी दुपारी ४ वाजताच्या सुमारास गंगा-जमना वेश्यावस्ती भागात दिलीप हा पोलिसांचा गणवेश घालून वाहनचालकांकडून वसुली करीत होता. तो एकटाच कारवाई करीत असल्याने येथील नागरिकांना संशय आला. नागरिकांनी लकडगंज पोलिसांना माहिती दिली.
माहिती मिळताच लकडगंज पोलिस स्टेशनचे वरिष्ठ पोलिस निरीक्षक भानुदास पिदूरकर यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली सहायक पोलिस निरीक्षक राम बांदेकर, उपनिरीक्षक कृष्णराव कणकदळे व त्यांच्या सहकाऱ्यांनी सापळा रचून दिलीपला अटक केली.
त्याच्याकडून एमएच-डीडब्ल्यू- २६११ या क्रमांकाची मोटरसायकल, बनावट ओळखपत्र, मोबाइल व दोन हजार ६०० रुपयांची रोख जप्त केली. त्याच्याविरुद्ध तोतयागिरीचा गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला. त्याची पोलिस कोठडी घेण्यात आली आहे.
पोलिस असल्याचे सांगून केले लग्न
दिलीप हा गेल्या चार वर्षांपासून पोलिस असल्याची बतावणी करीत आहे. शरीरयष्टीमुळे तो पोलिसांसारखाच दिसतो. बी.ए. उत्तीर्ण असलेल्या दिलीपने पोलिस असल्याचे सांगूनच लग्न केले. सकाळी ९ वाजताच्या सुमारास ड्युटीवर जात असल्याचे सांगून गणवेश घालून तो घरून निघायचा.
रात्री १० वाजता परत घरी जायचा. राणी दुर्गावती चौक व गंजा-जमना भागात त्याने दारू पिऊन वाहन चालविणे, सिग्नल तोडणे व हेल्मेट न घालणाऱ्या वाहनचालकांकडून ‘वसुली’ केली, अशी माहिती पोलिसांनी दिली.
नागपुर : अन्न व औषधि प्रशासन (एफडीए) विभाग ने खाद्य पदार्थ ‘मोजरेला चीज’ की घटिया गुणवत्ता को लेकर फर्म के नामिनी को 50-50 हजार यानी कुल एक लाख रुपए का जुर्माना किया है। फर्म ने भी कबूल किया कि उन्होंने कम गुणवत्ता का खाद्य पदार्थ बेचने के लिए बनाया था।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार एफडीए के खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी अमित कुमार उपलप ने 20 जुलाई 2017 को बुटीबोरी स्थित मे. ज्यूबिलंट फूड वर्क्स लि. पर छापा मारकर खाद्य पदार्थ मोजरेला चीज जब्त किया था।
विभाग ने खाद्य पदार्थ के नमूने को जांच के लिए प्रयोगशाला भेजा था। जहां मोजरेला चीज कम गुणवत्ता का होने की बात सामने आई थी। एफडीए के सह आयुक्त शशिकांत केकरे ने मामले की सुनवाई की।विभाग की तरफ से खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी आनंद महाजन ने पक्ष रखा।
मे. ज्यूबिलंट फूड वर्क्स लि. के विक्रेता फर्म के नामिनी नवीन रविंद्रनाथ श्रीवास्तव, उत्पादक फर्म के नामिनी संजय केशव मिश्रा व मे. पराग मिल्क फुड्स लि. ने अपना-अपना पक्ष रखते हुए तय मानकों से मोजरेला चीज कम गुणवत्ता का बनाने की बात कबूल की। घटिया दर्जे का खाद्य पदार्थ स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक होता है।
एफडीए के सह आयुक्त शशिकांत केकरे ने आरोप कबूल करने पर उत्पादक फर्म के नामिनी संजय मिश्रा व मे. पराग मिल्क फूड्स लि. (आंबेगाव पुणे) पर 50-50 हजार रुपए का जुर्माना लगाया।
नागपुर : राष्ट्रसंत तुकड़ोजी महाराज नागपुर विश्वविद्यालय में एकेडमिक सेक्शन की विविध बैठकों में महज चाय पर डेढ़ लाख रुपए होने का मुद्दा गर्मा गया है। एकेडमिक विभाग के इस खर्च पर विश्वविद्यालय के ही वित्त विभाग ने आपत्ति उठाई है।
जानकारी के अनुसार विवि में बीते दिनों बोर्ड ऑफ स्टडीज की बैठकों के अलावा भी अन्य कुछ बैठकें हुईं। इसमें सदस्यों के लिए चाय-नाश्ते का प्रबंध किया गया। एकेडमिक सेक्शन ने इसका खर्च वित्त विभाग को भेजा तो वित्त विभाग की आंखें खुली की खुली रह गईं।
वित्त विभाग ने जब खर्च का विस्तृत अध्ययन किया तो पाया कि, एक बैठक में शामिल तीन व्यक्तियों को करीब 99 कप चाय और 25 कप कॉफी पिलाई गई। कुल बैठकों का ब्यौरा मिलाकर डेढ़ लाख रुपए का खर्च दर्शाया गया। इस अनाप-शनाप खर्च पर आपत्ति जताते हुए वित्त व लेखा अधिकारी राजू हिवसे ने विवि कुलगुरु डॉ. सिद्धार्थविनायक काणे को इसकी जानकारी दी।
मामले में कुलगुरु डॉ. काणे से संपर्क करने पर उन्होंने भी इस अनाप-शनाप खर्च पर आश्चर्य जताया। कुलगुरु के अनुसार विवि जल्द ही इस मामले में जांच बिठा कर दोषियों पर कार्रवाई करेगा।इस संबध में अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद ने भी कुलगुरु को ज्ञापन सौंप कर जांच की मांग की है।
विवि के सीनेट सदस्य एड. मनमोहन वाजपेयी ने कहा है कि, यह केवल एक शाखा की बैठक का खर्च सामने आया है। विवि को इस मामले की जांच करनी चाहिए। यदि इस जांच में गड़बड़ी मिलती है, तो विवि को अन्य विभागों की बैठक में होने वाले चाय-नाश्ते के खर्च की भी जांच करानी चाहिए।
बता दें कि, इसके पूर्व एनएसयूआई संगठन भी विश्वविद्यालय में अधिकारियों और बैठकों के चाय नाश्ते के अनाप-शनाप खर्च के खिलाफ आंदोलन छेड़ चुका है। अब विवि प्रशासन मामले में जांच बिठाने जा रहा है।
नागपुर : महानगरपालिका का अतिक्रमण विरोधी दस्ता शुक्रवार को नेहरू नगर जोन में पहुंचते ही अतिक्रमणकारियों में हड़कंप मच गया। चौराहों पर अतिक्रमण कर दुकान लगाने वालों में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। दस्ते ने मुस्तैदी दिखाते हुए 32 अतिक्रमणों का सफाया कर दिया। वही धरमपेठ जोन से 6 ठेले और गाड़ियों को जब्त किया गया।
जानकारी के अनुसार नेहरु नगर जोन में गुरुदेव नगर से ईश्वर नगर चौक के बीच फुटपाथ पर लगे अतिक्रमणों का सफाया किया गया। इसके बाद दस्ता हसनबाग चौक से श्रीकृष्ण नगर चौक, केडीके कॉलेज, जगनाडे चौक और गुरुदेव नगर चौक तक फुटपाथ पर लगे करीब 32 अतिक्रमणों को हटाने की कार्रवाई की गई। पश्चात दस्ता धरमपेठ जोन में हिलटॉप पर जा डटा। यहां से बड़ा पानठेला हटाने की कार्रवाई की गई।
इसके बाद सिविल लाइंस मुख्यालय के सामने मट्ठा, पानी पूरी के 5 ठेले और 1 टाटा एस गाड़ी को जब्त किया गया। चौंकाने वाली बात यह है कि, यहां हर बार कार्रवाई के बाद भी उसी जगह दूसरे ठेले लग जाते हैं। कई बार कार्रवाई करने के बाद भी मनपा इसका स्थायी समाधान अब तक नहीं निकाल सकी है। कार्रवाई सहायक आयुक्त अशोक पाटिल, निरीक्षक संजय कांबले के नेतृत्व में की गई।

Nagpur : Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court has dismissed a petition opposing mining of iron ore from Surjagarh hills in Naxal-infested Gadchiroli district. The High Court upheld the decision of Maharashtra Government to mine the world-class iron ore deposits from Surjagarh hills. A division bench consisting of Justice Ravi Deshpande and Justice Vinay Joshi after a detailed hearing of petition filed by Kisan Patruji Barsagade and Sarita Lalsu Pungati, dismissed the same and found no infirmity and illegality in the decision taken by State Government.
From past several years, successive governments tried to rope in the private players to mine the iron ore deposits, but due to stiff opposition by naxalites and their violent tactics against officers of private companies, efforts yielded little results. The State and Centre Government leased the hill to M/s Lloyd Steels on May 3, 2007. Infact, a senior officer of company was brutally murdered by anti-national Naxalites to terrorise anybody trying to mine the iron ore deposits. The Naxals also tried to whip up the passion and instigate local populace against the project by raising different bogeys.
According to petitioners, the Surjagarh hills are integral part of tribal culture and thousands of tribals of Gadchiroli district are dependent on natural resources of this area and mining activity will deprive them from livelihood and also displace them from their native place. Since this is a scheduled area, the tribal land, forest and hillock can not be leased to any private individual, company, the petitioner claimed while alleging that lease was handed over in utter violation of the norms and decision was against the interest of tribals. The respondent authorities strongly countered this argument and stated that lease was entrusted only after scrupulously following the due process. The iron ore deposits and processing industry will promote industries and bring some prosperity to this tribal district and will generate thousands of jobs for the people, it was pointed out while assuring that interest of tribal population would be protected. The High Court found no merit in the petition and dismissed the same after hearing all the parties.
नागपूर : पदाचा गैरवापर करून मिळकतीपेक्षा नऊ लाखांपेक्षा अधिकची ‘माया’ जमविणाऱ्या सावनेर पंचायत समितीचे ग्रामसेवक रमेश पुंडलिकराव बन्नगरे यांच्याविरुद्ध लाच लुचपत प्रतिबंधक विभागाने अपसंपदेचा गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे.
बन्नगरे यांनी १९८६ ते २०१३ या कालावधीत भ्रष्टाचार करून अपसंपदा जमविल्याची तक्रार लाचलुचपत प्रतिबंधक विभागाकडे करण्यात आली. लाचलुचपत प्रतिबंधक विभागाने वर्धा कार्यालयामार्फत बन्नगरे यांची चौकशी सुरू केली.
चौकशीदरम्यान या कालावधीत बन्नगरे यांनी मिळकतीपेक्षा ४१.८९ टक्के अधिक अर्थात नऊ लाख १९ हजार ५४६ रुपयांची मालमत्ता जमविल्याचे स्पष्ट झाले. त्यानंतर बन्नगरे यांच्याविरुद्ध कारंजा घाडगे पोलिस स्टेशनमध्ये अपसंपदेचा गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला.
एसीबीचे अधीक्षक श्रीकांत धिवरे, अतिरिक्त अधीक्षक राजेश दुद्धलवार यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली उपअधीक्षक गजानन विखे, निरीक्षक सुहास चौधरी, शिपाई रोशन निंबाळकर, प्रशांत वैद्य, सागर भोसले, प्रदीप कुचनकर, अर्पणा गिरजापुरे या प्रकरणाचा तपास करीत आहेत.
नागपूर : मराठा समाजाला शिक्षणात १३ टक्के आणि नोकरीत १२ टक्के आरक्षण मिळाल्याचा आनंद आहे. या आरक्षणात विदर्भातील कुणबी समाजाचा समावेश करण्यात यावा, अशी मागणी विधानसभेतील विरोधी पक्षनेते विजय वडेट्टीवार यांनी सभागृहात केली. आरक्षणाच्या मुद्द्यावर घेण्यात आलेल्या अभिनंदन ठरावावर ते बोलत होते.
वडेट्टीवार म्हणाले, ‘मराठा समाजाला आरक्षण देण्याचा पाया आघाडी सरकारच्या काळात घातला गेला. चंद्रपूरसारख्या जिल्ह्यात मराठा कुणबी समाज मोठ्या संख्येने आहे. त्यांना ओबीसी कोट्यातून आरक्षण देण्यात येते. आता उच्च न्यायालयाने कुणबी समाजाच्या आरक्षणाला धक्का न लावता स्वतंत्र आरक्षण लागू केले आहे. त्यामुळे विदर्भातील मराठा कुणबी समाजाला ओबीसीऐवजी नव्या मराठा आरक्षण कोट्यातून आरक्षण देण्यात यावे.’
एसबीसी घटकाला मेडिकलच्या दोन टक्के आरक्षण देण्यास उच्च न्यायालयाचा विरोध किंवा बंधन नाही. त्यामुळे एसबीसी घटकाला मेडिकलमध्ये दोन टक्के आरक्षण देण्याचा निर्णय शासनाने घ्यावा, अशी मागणीही त्यांनी केली. यावर मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस यांनी विरोधी पक्षनेत्यांनी दिलेली माहिती तपासण्यात येईल, अशी ग्वाही दिली.
In a major move towards resolving the water crisis caused due to construction of Chourai dam on Pench river in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra Cabinet gave nod to a proposal for Kanhan diversion project. As per the project, estimated cost of which is Rs 2,864 crore, 10 thousand million cubic feet (TMC) water from Kanhan river will be diverted to Totladoh reservoir on Pench river.
The decision was taken following the demand of farmers from Nagpur and Bhandara districts and also Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). Due to construction of Chourai dam, the yield in Totladoh reservoir reduced drastically. This affected the water availability for irrigation purposes, as well as for quenching the drinking water need of the city of Nagpur. Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Guardian Minister of Nagpur district, and MLAs from Nagpur and Bhandara districts had raised the issue in meetings with Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister; and Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister. They had also urged Fadnavis and Gadkari to find a solution in the larger interest of the farmers and people of Nagpur city.
As per the estimates, due to construction of Chourai dam, water availability in Totladoh reservoir reduced by 614 million cubic metres (MM3). In accordance with inter-State water use agreement dating back to the year 1964, Maharashtra should have got 1,840 MM3 water in past 40 years. However, Maharashtra got only 1,294 MM3 water. In terms of TMC, Maharashtra got 42.7 TMC previously. But, since construction of Chourai dam, water availability in Totladoh reservoir reduced to only 27 TMC. Considering the situation, a committee was constituted to examine the case in 2016.
Following the report of the committee, the Chief Minister had directed Water Resources Department to chalk out short-term and long-term plans. After completion of works proposed in long-term plan, 118 MM3 additional water will be available. Still, as per the population growth projections till the year 2025, water demand for Nagpur city also will increase to 250-300 MM3. Hence, the proposal for long-pending Jamghat irrigation project was explored. But, it was found to be ‘not feasible’ owing to cost involved in acquisition of forest land. Finally, it was decided to construct a diversion barrage near village Lohghogari and then divert the water through a tunnel from Kanhan river to Totladoh reservoir.
Nagpur : Maharashtra Government has decided to grant land titles in their names to widows of farmers who committed suicides. Besides, it has asked nine different departments to initiate measures to facilitate welfare of women members of the families of farmers who ended their lives due to agrarian distress.
The Government has issued the directives after accepting the recommendations of Maharashtra State Commission for Women. The Commission had submitted its report and recommendations to the Government after conducting a workshop at Nagpur and Aurangabad some time ago. During the workshop, the issues concerning socio-economic security of women in families of dead farmers were discussed. The widows of farmers had narrated difficulties they faced due to land titles not being in their names, marriage of daughters, financial problems in the wake of ailments in family, livelihood challenges, challenges posed by loan repayment, red tapism in getting aid under various schemes etc.
State Government considered the report and accepted the recommendations. Accordingly, it has now asked nine departments to initiate various measures. Revenue and Forest Department has been asked to issue land titles in the names of widows of farmers. For the purpose, a special succession registration camp will be conducted under ‘Rajaswa Abhiyan’. This is an important step as many farmers’ widows do not get housing unit under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana as the land titles are not in their names.
Woman and Child Development Department has been asked to take steps to accord priority to farmer’s widow in getting share in property. Other steps include providing financial assistance and solemnising of marriage of daughter(s) in mass marriage ceremony, according priority to helping family members of deceased farmers in getting benefits of welfare schemes, training the officials to enable them in sensitive handling of the issues concerning farmers’ widows, and setting up of special assistance cell for farmers’ widows at district level to redress their grievances and guide them about different welfare schemes.
In several cases, Maharashtra State Commission for Women had noted, the marriages of daughters of farmers got broken at an early stage. In such cases, Employment and Self-Employment Department and Woman and Child Development Department will extend help to such women in getting benefits of Government schemes and offer employment/self-employment opportunities as well as associate them with women’s self-help groups.
School Education Department has been directed to frame a special policy to resolve the issues regarding education and payment of fees for the children in the family of farmers who have committed suicide. The said policy must be implemented in right earnest, state the directives issued by V M Nandekar, Desk Officer, Revenue and Forest Department. Public Health Department will come up with measures including issuance of Health Card to ease the financial pressure on the family of deceased farmers.
Employment Guarantee Scheme Department has been directed to implement Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme on priority in the districts affected by suicides of farmers, and also to offer jobs under the scheme to families of deceased farmers. In Vidarbha, six districts are considered to be in the ‘affected’ category. These include Yavatmal, Washim, Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, and Wardha. However, farmers in other districts of the region also have committed suicides.
Rural Development Department has been asked to give priority to farmers’ widows in Gharkul Yojana for housing units. Also, the Government has directed Agriculture Department to explore if ‘Kisan Mitra Helpline’, an initiative being implemented by some of the States, can be started in Maharashtra for the families of deceased farmers. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has been asked to extent the benefits of Food Security Scheme to the affected families.

नागपूर : गेल्या काही वर्षांपासून संपूर्ण राज्य पेटविणाऱ्या मराठा आरक्षणाच्या मुद्द्याला अखेर गुरुवारी उच्च न्यायालयाने संरक्षण प्रदान केले. टिकणार की नाही, अशा चर्चांमध्ये राहिलेला हा प्रश्न निकाली लागला आणि नागपूरसह राज्यभरातील मराठा बांधवांनी एकच जल्लोष केला. महालातील छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज चौकात विविध संघटना आणि मराठा समाजबांधवानी दिवसभर फटाके फोडून आणि पेढे वाटून आरक्षणाच्या शुभेच्छा दिल्या. त्याचवेळी मराठा मोर्चांमध्ये शहीद झालेल्या ४३ बांधवांना श्रद्धांजली अर्पण करण्यात आली.

Nagpur : Gold which was oscillating between Rs 32,000 and Rs 32,900 has coolly crossed the all-time mark of Rs 35,300 mark (GST) and 34,400 (without GST). According to Kishore Dharashivkar, President of Nagpur Sarafa Association the reason for the high price of the yellow metal was due to strain relation between US and Iraq besides Rupee getting weaker against dollar.
“The war like situation arising between America and Iraq seems to be the main reason adding extra glitter to the price of the gold in the international and domestic market,” he said. Rajesh Rokde, Secretary of the Nagpur Sarafa Association said, “Apart from international situation, gold is getting costly due to frenzied buying by the local designers and manufacturers. Manufacturers purchase gold in four months in advance for jewellery and get readied for the wedding and festival seasons. Even the jewellers exhibition scheduled to be held in month of August has also increased the buying of the gold. These jewellers will showcase their latest designs in the event.”
He said, people who have arranged marriage of their children in the month of November and December are placing orders for the jewellery. Some are also purchasing in advance in anticipation that prices of gold will increase during the marriage season. Rokde predicted that the prices may even go further. “If the international condition did not alter, gold may even touch Rs 40,000 mark during Diwali festival,” Rokde said. Pradip Kothari said, “There is very little chance of gold prices coming down. They will be high during the festival and marriage seasons.”

शिक्षक सहकारी बँकेचे थकित कर्जदार मे. रेवती कन्स्ट्रक्शन अॅण्ड डेव्हलपर्स, भागीदार दीपक निलावार, रेखा निलावार, अमित, प्रियंका, सुमित या निलावार कुटुंबातील सदस्यांच्या मालकीची स्थावर मालमत्ता गहाण ठेवून बँकेकडून ओव्हर ड्राफ्ट कर्ज घेतले होते. कर्जाची परतफेड नियमित न केल्याने हे खाते थकित होऊन एनपीए झाले. कर्जाची वसुली करण्यासाठी बँकेकडून वारंवार नोटीस पाठविण्यात आली होती.
नोटीस देऊनही कर्जाची रक्कम न भरल्याने बँकेने सिक्युरिटायझेशन अॅक्ट २००२ अंतर्गत नोटीस दिली. ६० दिवसांची मुदत पूर्ण होऊनही कर्जाची रक्कम न भरल्याने गहाण मालमत्तेचा ताबा घेण्याची प्रक्रिया सुरू झाली. प्रत्यक्ष ताबा मिळविण्यासाठी अतिरिक्त जिल्हादंडाधिकारी यांच्या कार्यालयात अर्ज करण्यात आला. यावर सुनावणी होऊन गहाण संपत्तीचा ताबा घेण्याचे आदेश देण्यात आले.
