राम मंदिर अयोध्येत नाही, तर काय मक्का मदीना किंवा व्हॅटिकन सिटीमध्ये बांधणार?: बाबा रामदेव यांचा सवाल

नागपुर: अयोध्यामधील ऐतिहासिक राम जन्मभूमी-बाबरी मशीद जमीन वाद प्रकरणातील ४० दिवसांच्या सुनावणीनंतर सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने आपला निर्णय राखून ठेवला आहे. हिंदू आणि मुस्लिम, दोन्ही पक्ष आपापल्या विजयाचा दावा करीत आहेत. दरम्यान, सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात अयोध्या प्रकरणावर सुनावणी सुरू असताना योगगुरू बाबा रामदेव यांनी राम मंदिराबाबत वक्तव्य करत लक्ष वेधून घेतले आहे. राम मंदिर अयोध्येत बांधले जाणार नाही, तर मग ते मक्का-मदिना किंवा व्हॅटिकन सिटीमध्ये बांधले जाणार आहे का, असा खोचक सवाल बाबा रामदेव यांनी केला आहे.

राम मंदिर निर्माण मुद्द्यावर एका खासगी वृत्त वाहिनीशी बोलताना बाबा रामदेव यांनी वरील वक्तव्य केले आहे. या मुद्द्यावर बोलताना बाबा रामदेव म्हणाले की, ‘राम मंदिर जर अयोध्या येथे बांधले जाणार नसेल, तर मग काय ते मक्का-मदीना किंवा मग काय व्हॅटिकन सिटीमध्ये बनवले आहे?. अयोध्येत तर कुणी ईसा मसीह किंवा मोहम्मद पैगंबर जन्माला आलेले नाहीत. राम या देशाची अस्मिता असून ते प्रत्येक भारतीयांचे पूर्वज आहेत. हिंदू, मुस्लीम, शीख, ईसाई असा हा मुद्दा नाही. राम मंदिर उभारले गेले पाहिजे आणि या कामात प्रत्येक भारतीयाचा सहभाग हवा आणि यातच वर्तमान आणि भविष्य सुरक्षित आहे.’

देशभरातील हजारो मंदिरे तोडली गेली, मात्र, ज्या ठिकाणी आमचे पूर्वज जन्माला आले, ती जागा तर सोडा, असेही बाबा रामदेव म्हणाले. सर्वोच्च न्यायालयामध्ये आराखडा फाडला जाण्याची घटना अत्यंत घृणास्पद असल्यातेही ते म्हणाले. आम्हाला अत्यंक चुकीचा इतिहास शिकवला गेला, असे म्हणत त्यांनी देशाचा इतिहास पुन्हा लिहिण्याबाबतच्या केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शहा यांच्या वक्तव्याचे जोरदार समर्थन केले.

खट्टर आणि फडणवीस यांच्या शिवाय कोणताही पर्याय नाही

हरयाणा राज्यात मनोहरलाल खट्टर आणि महाराष्ट्रात देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या शिवाय कोणताही मजबूत पर्याय नसल्याचे म्हणत बाबा रामदेव यांनी मनोहरलाल खट्टर आणि देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांची प्रशंसा केली. जनतेने या मजबूत नेतृत्त्वांसाठीच मतदान केले पाहिजे असेही ते पुढे म्हणाले. जम्मू आणि काश्मीर राज्यातून कलम ३७० हटवून पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी आणि केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शहा यांनी ऐतिहासिक कामगिरी केल्याचे रामदेव म्हणाले.

भारताचे सरन्यायाधीश पुढील महिन्यात १७ नोव्हेंबर या दिवशी निवृत्त होत आहेत. त्या पूर्वीच अयोध्या प्रकरणी निर्णय येऊ शकतो असे म्हटले जात आहे.

आज संध्याकाळी ५ वाजेपर्यंत अयोध्या प्रकरणावरील सुनावणी पूर्ण होईल असे सरन्यायाधीशांनी स्पष्ट केले होते. परंतु, १ तासापूर्वीच ४ वाजता ही सुनावणी पूर्ण झाली. सरन्यायाधीशांच्या अध्यक्षतेखालील घटनापीठाने संबंधित पक्षांना ‘मोल्डिंग ऑफ रिलीफ’वर आपले म्हणणे मांडण्यासाठी ३ दिवसाची अतिरिक्त वेळ दिलेला आहे.

मोबाइल व्हीलचेअर व्हॅन नागपूर — ५०० पायऱ्या सहज चढून जाता येईल अशी अत्याधुनिक खुर्ची

नागपूर – लोकसभा निवडणुकीपासून दिव्यांग मतदारांचे मतदान वाढावे यासाठी विशेष काळजी घेण्यात येत आहे. मतदान केंद्रांवर दिव्यांगांसाठी रॅम्पसह इतर व्यवस्था करण्यात येतात. तसेच त्यांना घरापासून मतदान केंद्रापर्यत ने-आण करण्याची व्यवस्थाही जिल्हा प्रशासनातर्फे करण्यात येते. उपराजधानीतील निवृत्त वैज्ञानिक प्रकाश अंधारे व त्यांचे मित्र विजयकुमार बथ्थड यांनी २१ आॅक्टोबर रोजी मतदानाच्या दिवशी दिव्यांग मतदारांना ने-आण करण्यासाठी आपल्या माेबाइल व्हीलचेअर व्हॅन दिल्याची माहिती पीडब्ल्यूडीचे दिव्यांग विभागाचे नोडल अधिकारी अभिजित राऊत यांनी “दिव्य मराठी’ला दिली. जयप्रकाशनगर येथे राहणारे निवृत्त वैज्ञानिक प्रकाश अंधारे व त्यांचे मित्र विजयकुमार बथ्थड यांनी तीन व्हॅन उपलब्ध करून दिल्या आहेत, तर रिलिफ अलाइड सर्व्हिसेसने किमान ५०० पायऱ्या सहज चढून जाता येईल अशी अत्याधुनिक खुर्ची दिली आहे. यामुळे दिव्यांग मतदारांना ने-आण करणे खूपच सोपे झाल्याचे सांगितले.

प्रकाश अंधारे हे निवृत्त वैज्ञानिक दिव्यांग आहेत. त्यांनी मारुती वॅगनआर या गाडीला माॅडिफाइड करून हवे तसे बदल करून घेतले. गाडीतील मागच्या सीट्स काढून टाकल्या. तसेच डिक्कीत सुमारे ९ फूट लांब सहज मोडता येईल (फोल्डेड) असा रॅम्प करून घेतला. गाडीत चढता उतरताना हा रॅम्प गाडीला जोडला की त्यावरून व्हीलचेअर सहज चढवता व उतरवता येते, असेही त्यांनी या वेळी सांगितले.

आधुनिकीकरणासठी अडीच लाखांचा खर्च

रॅम्प नसलेल्या ठिकाणी या रॅम्पचा उपयोग करून दिव्यांग मतदाराला नेता येते, असे अंधारे यांनी सांगितले. माॅडिफिकेशनसाठी २ ते २.५० लाख खर्च आल्याचे अंधारे यांनी सांगितले. दिव्यांग मतदारांना या आधुनिक वाहनांचा फायदा होणार आहे.

एक खुर्ची सव्वा लाख रुपयांची

शहरातील व्यावसायीक राजेश पारीख यांनी जिल्हा प्रशासनाच्या आवाहनावरून सुमारे ५०० पायऱ्यापर्यंत दिव्यांग मतदाराला सहज ओढून नेता येईल अशी अत्याधुनिक खुर्ची उपलब्ध करून दिली आहे. सव्वा लाख रुपयांची ही एक खूर्ची आहे. खूर्चीला रणगाड्याला असतो तसा सरकत्या चाकांचा पट्टा असतो. ही खूर्ची १२ व्होल्टच्या बॅटरीवर चालते. पायऱ्यांच्या कठड्याला सरकत्या चाकांचा पट्टा जोडला की बॅटरी सुरू करायची. त्या नंतर एक प्रशिक्षित कर्मचारी किमान ५०० पायऱ्यांपर्यत दिव्यांगाला सहज ओढू शकतो. यात कर्मचाऱ्यावर अजिबात वजन पडत नाही, अशी माहिती पारेख यांनी दिली.

Vidarbha region has great potential for exports of goods. To create awareness and to promote enterprises from Vidarbha for exporting their goods, MSME-Development Institute, Govt. Of India, Ministry of MSME organized Industrial Motivation Campaign for export promotion jointly with Nagpur First Foundation on dated 10th October 2019 at MSME-DI, Nagpur. Shri P.M.Parlewar, Director, MSME-DI Nagpur, presided over the Inaugural Session. Shri Dilip Jha, Director, M/s Glocalasia Group, Shri Rajesh Desurkar, Branch Manager, Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) Ltd, Nagpur, and Shri V.R.Sirsath, Dy. Director, MSME-DI, Nagpur were the other dignitaries on the dais.

Shri P.M.Parlewar, Director, MSME-DI, Nagpur explained, in brief, the objective behind organizing the program. As export procedure is very tedious, it is very essential to organize such programs on export management which will create more awareness on export promotion and also entrepreneurs will get acquainted with the new schemes and strategies of the Govt. for promoting exports from MSMEs. He said that Export Facilitation Cell is set up all over India to give handholding support to the MSME exporters. Similarly, all over India SEZs will be captured to promote MSMEs and exports through the Cluster development program. He said MSME-DI office want to promote maximum MSMEs from Vidarbha.

Speaking from the dais Shri Rajesh Desurkar, Branch Manager, ECGC Ltd, appreciated the efforts taken by MSME-DI Nagpur in organizing such type of awareness program which will be immensely beneficial to the entrepreneurs. He briefed about the role and policies of ECGC and said that ECGC provides a range of credit risk insurance cover to exporters against loss in export of goods and services, offers export credit insurance covers to banks and financial institutions to enable exporters to obtain better facility and also provides overseas investment to Indian companies investing in joint ventures abroad in the form of equity or loan.

Shri Aniket Jha, Joint Secretary, Nagpur First Foundation briefed about his organization which was set up in 2006 is a volunteer-driven non Government organization primarily driven by NRIs having links with Nagpur along with key stakeholders of Nagpur. The goal is to make Nagpur a global city by creating a new global development platform for individuals, organizations, and administrators of Nagpur city to realize the potential of becoming a globally recognized city for the varied resources, central positioning and unique value propositions.

Shri Rameshwar Borikar, Asstt. DGFT, O/o Jt.Director-General of Foreign Trade, Nagpur during technical session briefed about the organization which is essentially involved in the regulation and promotion of foreign trade through regulation. He explained the export promotion schemes such as MIES, SIES, and special benefits to MSMEs also.

During the technical session, Director of Global Logistic Pvt. Ltd, Shri Abhishek Jha, explained the essential procedures for performing exports. He explored the export opportunities and trade business potentials also. He also shared his export business experience with the participants.

During the technical session, Shri K.B.Irpate, Asstt. Director and co-ordinator of the program briefed about the various export promotional schemes of Ministry of MSME including International co-operation scheme and also informed more than 25 international trade fairs had been identified by MSME-Development Organization and appealed to MSMEs to participate in those International Trade fairs so that they can avail the subsidy under International Co-operation scheme. In the end, Shri Irpate proposed the vote of thanks to the dignitaries and the participants.

काँग्रेस आघाडी सरकारच्या काळात गेल्या ५० वर्षांत विकासासाठी केवळ आश्वासने मिळाली. मात्र प्रत्यक्षात शहराचा कुठेच विकास झाला नाही. गेल्या पाच वर्षांत या शहराचा सर्वागीण विकास करण्यात आला असून नागपूर शहर देशातील पहिल्या क्रमांकाचे शहर होईल, अशी ग्वाही केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांनी दिली.

दक्षिण-पश्चिम मतदारसंघातील उमेदवार मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या प्रचारार्थ गोपालनगरमध्ये आज गुरुवारी आयोजित जाहीर सभेत ते बोलत होते. या सभेला महापौर नंदा जिचकार, सत्तापक्ष नेते संदीप जोशी आदी उपस्थित होते. यावेळी गडकरी म्हणाले, शहराचा सर्वागीण विकास करताना अनेक योजना शहरात सुरू करण्यात आल्या आहेत. याचे श्रेय मुख्यमंत्री किंवा माझे नाही तर जनतेचे आहे. तुम्ही आम्हाला निवडून दिले म्हणून आम्ही हे करू शकलो. आम्ही गेल्या पाच वर्षांत कुठल्याही जाती धर्म, पंथाचा विचार केला नाही. प्रत्येक धर्माला न्याय मिळाला पाहिजे आणि त्यांचा सर्वागीण विकास झाला पाहिजे, हे ध्येय समोर ठेवत काम केले आहे. निवडणूक ही उमेदवारांची परीक्षा घेणारी असते, ज्यांनी चांगली कामे केली ते निवडून येतात. मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी राज्यासह विदर्भात आणि शहरात मोठय़ा प्रमाणात विकास कामे केली आहेत, नागपुरात मेट्रो सुरू झाली, सोबतच डबल डेकर पूल सुद्धा बनवण्यात येत आहे. २४ बाय ७ पाणीपुरवठा करणारी नागपूर महापालिका पहिली आहे. एवढेच नाही तर सांडपाणी पाणी विकण्याचा विक्रम सुद्धा नागपूरने केला आहे. ब्रॉडगेज मेट्रोची संकल्पना नागपुरात प्रथम आणली. त्यामुळे शहराला आजूबाजूचे शहर जोडले जातील. शहरात एम्स आणले असून रोज मोठय़ा प्रमाणात रुग्ण त्याचा लाभ घेत आहे. नागपूर एज्युकेशन हब बनाव,े यासाठी सिंबॉयसिस नागपुरात आणले आहे. नागपूरला देशातील पहिल्या नंबरचे शहर बनवल्या शिवाय मुख्यमंत्री आणि मी थांबणार नाही, असेही गडकरी म्हणाले.

Open category students will not suffer due to quota, says Fadnavis

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday said his government is committed to the welfare of all sections of the society and referred to a scheme in the BJP manifesto wherein students from open category would get scholarships to study abroad.

Fadnavis, addressing an election rally in his assembly constituency Nagpur South-West, said open category students will not suffer due to reservation to members of disadvantaged social groups in educational institutes.

“In our manifesto along with introducing various welfare schemes for all sections of the society, the BJP has also announced schemes for open category students who do not get any reservations,” he said.

“The open category will get the same number of seats which is used to get prior to 2018 (when Maratha quota was implemented). The number of seats will be increased and restored in various institutions (to pre-quota level).

“Hence, there will be no injustice to open category, OBC or students from any other section of the society,” said Fadnavis, who is seeking re-election from Nagpur South-West in the October 21 assembly polls.

Fadnavis said the BJP manifesto, released on Tuesday, promises to set up a financial development corporation (Arthik Vikas Mahamandal) for open category students.

“Through this corporation, open category students will also get scholarships for studying in foreign universities,” informed the chief minister.

वीर सावरकर हे राष्ट्रभक्त नव्हते का? कायदामंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद यांचा सवाल

नागपूर : स्वातंत्र्यवीर सावरकर व महात्मा जोतिबा फुले यांना भारतरत्न देण्याचे आश्वासन भाजपने जाहीरनाम्यात दिले आहे. तो देशाचा गौरव आहे. परंतु सावरकर यांना भारतरत्न देण्यास काँग्रेसचा विरोध आहे. हा विरोध कशासाठी, वीर सावरकर हे राष्ट्रभक्त नव्हते का? की केवळ गांधी घराण्यातच भारतरत्न दिले पाहिजे, असा सवाल केंद्रीय कायदामंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद यांनी केला.

राज्य सरकारने स्वातंत्र्यवीर सावरकर आणि महात्मा जोतिबा फुले यांना भारतरत्न मिळावा, अशी मागणी यापूर्वी केली होती आणि तसा प्रस्ताव केंद्र सरकारला पाठवला होता. भाजपच्या जाहीरनाम्यातही त्याचा समावेश आहे. काँग्रेसने सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल, डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर व मौलाना आजाद यांना भारतरत्न देण्यास उशीर केला. प्रचारात भाजप नेते अनुच्छेद ३७०चा मुद्दा मांडतात. मात्र त्यालाही आता विरोध होत आहे असा आरोप प्रसाद यांनी केला.

ओवेसींकडून समाज तोडण्याचे काम – शहनवाझ हुसेन

एमआयएम ही काँग्रेसची बी टीम असून त्यांच्या पक्षाचे प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवेसी सभांमधून समाज तोडण्याचे काम करत आहेत. विधानसभा निवडणुकीनंतर राज्यात त्यांचे अस्तित्व उरणार नाही, असे मत भाजपचे राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ते शहनवाझ हुसेन यांनी व्यक्त केले. हुसेन म्हणाले, राज्यात एमआयएमची ताकद कमी होत आहे. त्यांच्यावर समाजाचा विश्वास राहिलेला नाही.

As Sourav Ganguly prepares to take over as president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), he will find himself with plenty of battles to fight. One such possible skirmish may see him pitted against an old adversary— International Cricket Council (ICC) chief Shashank Manohar.

Global cricket is a lopsided market—Indian companies and the Indian market generate more revenue than almost all the other cricket playing nations put together.

The ICC is always trying to curb the influence that money brings. It is inevitable that the two cricket bodies are often at odds. This time, the ICC, always trying to boost revenue, and have proposed holding a World Cup every year. The BCCI has opposed it.

Led by powerful administrators, BCCI has always had the upper hand. Sourav Ganguly, however, takes over at a time when the tide has changed heavily in favor of ICC, which has introduced many measures to ensure BCCI doesn’t dictate terms in the ICC boardroom.

Ganguly and Manohar’s paths crossed before the 2004 Nagpur Test against Australia when Ganguly, then the India captain, asked for a spin-friendly wicket. India were trailing 0-1 after two matches. But Manohar, the Vidarbha association president then, backed his curator to layout a green top. The surface played into Australia’s hands and they won to go 2-0 up, achieving their “Final Frontier” by claiming their first series in India in 34 years. Ganguly had pulled out of the match due to an injury, and Rahul Dravid led in the game.

It came amidst an intense power tussle in the BCCI with the Manohar-Sharad Pawar-Raj Singh Dungarpur-IS Bindra camp pitted against Jagmohan Dalmiya, the then BCCI president. There was speculation Ganguly didn’t have his way because the venue belonged to the anti-Dalmiya camp.

Now, those battle lines have been drawn again. Many senior cricket figures in India are opposed to Manohar for his decision to resign as BCCI president and join ICC. The Board members had brought Shashank back as BCCI President with an overwhelming majority, going against N Srinivasan. They see it as abandoning the cause of the Board members who were looking up to his leadership in their resistance to the Lodha reforms.

Manohar became the first independent ICC chairman, and to his luck has found it easy to deal with the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators till now. When Ganguly’s team takes over on October 23, things are bound to change.

विदर्भाचा बालेकिल्ला कायम राखण्यासाठी काँग्रेसची धडपड

नागपूर : एकेकाळी काँग्रेसचा बालेकिल्ला म्हणून ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या विदर्भात अलीकडे काँग्रेसचा बुरूज ढासळला, परंतु काँग्रेसने पुन्हा जुने दिवस परत यावेत म्हणून विदर्भावरच लक्ष केंद्रित केले आहे. काँग्रेस नेते व पक्षाचे माजी अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी यांच्यासह इतरही प्रमुख नेते सभांच्या माध्यमातून हा प्रदेश पिंजून काढत आहेत.

आणीबाणीनंतरच्या काळात संपूर्ण देशात काँग्रेसची पीछेहाट होत असतानाच मात्र विदर्भाने पक्षाला साथ दिल्याचा इतिहास आहे. एवढेच नव्हे तर ज्या पक्षासोबत विदर्भ त्या पक्षाची राज्यात सत्ता असेही चित्र राज्याच्या राजकारणात आहे. काँग्रेसच्या राज्यातील सत्ताकाळात विदर्भाचे योगदान महत्त्वपूर्ण ठरले आहे. मात्र, गेल्या दोन दशकांत चित्र बदलले. काँग्रेसचा बालेकिल्ला आता भाजपचा गढ म्हणून ओळखला जात आहे. २०१४ च्या निवडणुकीत भाजपने या भागातील ६२ पैकी ४४ जागांवर विजय मिळवला होता. मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस आणि केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी विदर्भातील आहेत हे येथे उल्लेखनीय. या भागात अजूनही मोठय़ा प्रमाणात काँग्रेसला मानणारा मतदार मोठय़ा प्रमाणात आहे. ही बाब ओळखूनच काँग्रेसने या निवडणुकीत विदर्भावर लक्ष केंद्रित करण्याचे ठरवले आहे. माजी अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी यांच्यासह छत्तीसगडचे मुख्यमंत्री, लोकसभेतील पक्षाचे माजी नेते व महाराष्ट्राचे प्रभारी मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, प्रदेशाध्यक्ष बाळासाहेब थोरात यांच्यासह इतरही नेते विदर्भात ठिकठिकाणी सभा घेत आहेत. मंगळवारी राहुल गांधी यांच्या यवतमाळ आणि वर्धा जिल्ह्य़ात सभा झाल्या. यवतमाळ जिल्ह्य़ातील वणी येथे वामनराव कासावार आणि वर्धा जिल्ह्य़ातील आर्वी येथे अमर काळे पक्षाचे उमेदवार आहेत. मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे आणि प्रदेशाध्यक्ष बाळासाहेब थोरात यांनीही विदर्भाचा दौरा केला. येत्या दोन दिवसांत सरचिटणीस प्रियंका गांधी यांचा नागपुरात रोड शो घेण्याचे नियोजन आहे.

गेल्या वेळी दहाच जागी विजय

२०१४ च्या विधानसभेत काँग्रेसने विदर्भात ६२ पैकी दहा जागा जिंकल्या होत्या. राज्यातील सत्ता स्थापनेत विदर्भ हा घटक महत्त्वाचा राहिला आहे. राज्यात सत्तेचा स्थापनेचा मार्ग विदर्भातून सुकर झाला आहे. ज्या पक्षाला येथे सर्वाधिक जागा मिळतात, त्या पक्षाचे सरकार राज्यात स्थापन होते हा आजवरचा अनुभव आहे. त्याच दृष्टीने काँग्रेसने विदर्भावर लक्ष केंद्रित केल्याचे दिसून येत आहे.

नागपूर: प्रवासाला निघताना अस्वस्थ वाटतंय, किंवा घाईघाईत आरोग्याच्या काही तपासण्या राहून गेल्या अथवा अगदी सहज म्हणून आपल्याला आरोग्य तपासण्या करायच्या असतील तर ती सुविधा आता नागपूर रेल्वे स्थानकावरच उपलब्ध होणार आहे. त्यासाठी नागपूर रेल्वे स्थानकावर हेल्थ एटीएम सुरू करण्यात येणार आहे.

महसूलवाढ हे सध्या भारतीय रेल्वेने आपले लक्ष्य ठेवले आहे. आजवर प्रवासी आणि माल वाहतूक हे दोनच प्रमुख स्रोत महसूल वाढीचे होते. मात्र, अलीकडे प्रवासी भाड्याशिवाय महसूल कसा वाढवता येईल, यासाठी विशेष प्रयत्न करण्यात येत आहेत. नागपूर विभागाने तर अशा उत्पन्नाचे आतापर्यंत तब्बल १५ स्रोत शोधून काढले असून त्यासाठी संबंधितांशी करारही केले आहेत. त्याच मालेत आता हेल्थ एटीएम ही नवीन सुविधा प्रवाशांना उपलब्ध केली जाणार आहे. ही मशीन प्लॅटफॉर्म क्रमांक एकवर राहणार आहे. यात अगदी पाच मिनिटांत २१ प्रकारच्या तपासण्या करता येतील. उद्घाटनावेळी डीआरएम सोमेशकुमार व वरिष्ठ मंडळ वाणिज्य व्यवस्थापक कृष्णाथ पाटील प्रामुख्याने उपस्थित होते. ही अभिनव सुविधा सुरू होण्यात सहायक वाणिज्य व्यवस्थापक व्ही. सी. थूल, ताराप्रसाद आचार्य यांची विशेष भूमिका आहे.

WHY WE HATE works to contextualize the many instances of hate in everyday life: the violent rivalries that erupt at sports matches, the hateful rhetoric that runs rampant on social media, and the heated disagreements that flare up over political partisanship, race, religion, and social beliefs. The series follows brave individuals seeking to quell violent conflict and correct misperceptions, hears from former terrorists and architects of genocide, and allows viewers to consider lessons from some of the most brutal and enduring examples of hate throughout the world.

Among ideas explored include how group-based thinking shapes people’s perceptions and behaviors. The area that illustrates this the most is sports, where deep loyalties are based on a few different factors such as regional identity. A deep love for one team often leads to a hatred for its rival, which can spill into detesting opposing fans. As Santos explains, “…soccer fans tend to be the most tribal…not just about the soccer players that they care about, but also about the other fans. And that’s interesting because it suggests that it’s not just about the competition.” Santos goes on to draw parallels to today’s political environment: “Political partisanship is getting more and more tribal every day. The distance between us and them in this country is getting bigger, and it’s developing more of the uglier sides of tribalism.”

WHY WE HATE also highlights the personal stories of those who have lived a life of hatred, including a lifelong member of a hate group whose childhood memories “are of standing on a picket line telling people they were going to hell.” The series encounters people whose beliefs led them to commit acts of hate so severe they ended up in jail, but who managed, finally, to disengage from those ideologies.

Along the way, WHY WE HATE reveals contemporary links to ancient and evolutionary behaviors and uses science as a basis for unlocking the truth about hatred and human nature.

BLOG: प्रचाराचा ‘लुंगी’ पॅटर्न

लुंगी हा शब्द आठवला की पहिल्यांदा डोक्यात येतं ते म्हणजे शिवसेनेचं आंदोलन. मराठी भाषिकांना पाठिंबा देण्यासाठी शिवसेनेने सुरू केलेली उठाव लुंगी, बजाव पुंगी हे त्यांचं आदोलन फारचं गाजलं. मुंबईतील दक्षिण भारतीयांच्या वर्चस्वाला विरोध हा ६० च्या दशकात शिवसेनेचा मुद्दा होता. त्याचा शिवसेनेला फायदाही मिळाला आणि त्यावर शिवसेना वाढली. त्यावेळी शिवसेनेची ‘उठाव लुंगी, बजाव पुंगी’ ही दक्षिण भारतीयांविरुद्धची घोषणा मुंबईत लोकप्रिय ठरली होती. पण त्याचा इथे संबंध काय हा प्रश्न नक्कीच डोक्यात आला असेल. एकेकाळी विरोधाचं कारण ठरलेली तिच लुंगी आज प्रचाराचं साधनही ठरताना दिसतं आहे. पुढे जाण्यापूर्वी थोडं फ्लॅशबॅकमध्ये पाहिलं तर नक्कीच ६० च्या दशकातल्या लुंगीचा आणि आताच्या लुंगीचा संबंध नक्कीच जोडला जाऊ शकतो याची कल्पना येईल.

मुंबईसह संयुक्त महाराष्ट्राच्या स्थापनेनंतर मुंबई महाराष्ट्रात राहिली असली तरी मुंबईची नाळ ही महाराष्ट्रापासून वेगळी होत होती. मराठी लोकांच्यासोबतच गुजराती आणि अन्य भाषिकांची संख्याही मोठ्या प्रमाणात वाढत होती. मुंबईत अनेक उद्योगही उदयास आले असले तरी त्या उद्योगांच्या चाव्या मात्र अमराठी लोकांच्याच हाती होता. मराठी माणसाला दुय्यम स्थान मिळतंय अशी भावनाही त्या काळी जोर धरू लागली होती. व्यापारातही गुजराती, मारवाडी आणि दाक्षिणात्य लोकांना प्राधान्य मिळत असल्यानं मराठी लोकांवर अन्याय होत असल्याच्या भावनेतून शिवसेने जन्म घेतला. आपल्या व्यंगचित्रांमधून व्यक्त होणाऱ्या बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांनी आपल्या नोकरीचा राजीनामा दिला आणि ‘मार्मिक’च्या माध्यमातून मराठीच्या प्रश्नाकडे लक्ष वेधण्यास सुरूवात केली. त्यानंतर मराठी माणसाला संस्थात्मक पातळीवर एकत्र आणण्यासाठी बाळासाहेब ठाकरेंनी 1 जून 1966 रोजी शिवसेनेची स्थापना केली. मराठी माणसांना पाठिंबा देण्यासाठी दाक्षिणात्य लोकांविरोधात उठाव लुंगी, बजाव पुंगी ही मोहीम शिवसेनेने सुरू केली. 80 टक्के समाजकारण आणि 20 टक्के राजकारण हे त्या काळच्या शिवसेनेचे समिकरण होतं. आताच्या भूमिकेबाबत विचार न केलेलाच बरा. मराठी माणसाला शिवसेना आपलीशी वाटल्यानंच मराठी माणूसही शिवसेनेशी जोडला गेला आणि राज्यभर त्यांचा वेगाने विस्तारही झाला. ‘मुंबई आमची, नाही कुणाच्या बापाची’ हे समोरच्या ठणकावून सांगण्याची हिंमतही मराठी माणसाला बाळासाहेबांच्या शिवसेनेनेच दिली.

सध्या ठाकरे कुटुंबातील तिसरी पिढी ही आता राजकारणात उतरली आहे. तर निवडणुकीच्या रिंगणात उतरणारे आदित्य ठाकरे हे पहिलेच ठाकरे. आदित्य ठाकरे हे वरळी विधानसभा मतदारसंघातून निवडणुकीच्या रिंगणात उतरले आहेत. यापूर्वी आदित्य ठाकरे यांनी गुजराती, उर्दू, इंग्रजी आणि अन्य भाषांमधून बॅनर्स लावल्यानं ते चर्चेत आले होते. परंतु आता पुन्हा एकदा दाक्षिणात्य पेहरावातून मतांचा जोगवा मागण्यासाठी गेल्यानं पुन्हा एकदा चर्चेत आले आहेत. एकेकाळी शिवसेनेने ज्या लुंगीला विरोध केला त्याच लुंगीचा (वेष्टी) वापर त्यांना मतांना जोगवा मागण्यासाठी करावा लागत आहे. शिवसेना प्रमुख बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांनी मराठी माणसांसाठी लुंगीचा विरोध केला आणि दाक्षिणात्य लोकांविरोधात आंदोलन उभारलं होतं. परंतु आज त्यांची तिसरी पिढी याच लुंगीचा (वेष्टी) आधार घेत निवडणुकीच्या प्रचारात फिरत असल्याचा आरोपही आता होताना दिसत आहे. दाक्षिणात्य पेहरावात फिरणारे आदित्य ठाकरे हे नेटकऱ्यांच्याही चर्चेचा विषय ठरले आहेत.

गेल्या काही वर्षांमध्ये शिवसेनेच्या भूमिकेत सातत्यानं बदल होताना दिसत आहेत. सत्तेत राहून आपल्याच मित्रपक्षाचा विरोध, जागावाटपावर घेतलेली माघार, मराठीचा मुद्दा अशा अनेक मुद्द्यांवर शिवसेनेची भूमिका बदलल्याचं आपल्याला पहायला मिळतं. त्यातच आता निवडणुकीच्या रिंगणात उतरलेल्या आदित्य ठाकरे यांनीदेखील मतांसाठी दाक्षिणात्य पोषाख परिधान करून आपल्याच ‘उठाव लुंगी बजाव पुंगी’ची आठवणं त्या निमित्तानं करून दिली. ज्या लुंगीला मराठी माणसांच्या हितासाठी बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांनी विरोध केला, तिच लुंगी आज आदित्य ठाकरेंच्या प्रचाराचं साधन ठरतेय यापेक्षा मोठं दुर्देव कोणतं असा सवाल उपस्थित होतोय. हा काळाचा महिमा तर नाही ना असं कुठेतरी आता वाटू लागलंय.

म्हणून आउटगोइंग कॉलवर शुल्क, जिओनं दिलं उत्तर

नागपूर : रिलायन्स जिओने अलिकडेच ग्राहकांच्या आउटगोइंग कॉल्सवर शुल्क लावण्यास सुरुवात केलीय. जिओ व्यतिरिक्त इतर कुठल्याही नेटवर्कवर कॉल केल्यास ६ पैसे प्रतिमिनिट इंटरकनेक्ट युजेस शुल्क (IUC) लागू करण्यात आलंय. दुसऱ्या नेटवर्क्सवर करण्यात येणाऱ्या कॉल्ससाठी कंपनीला पैसे मोजावे लागतात. यालाच IUC शुल्क म्हणतात. हा नवीन नियम १० ऑक्टोबरपासून प्रीपेड आणि पोस्टपेड ग्राहकांना लागू करण्यात आला आहे. पण १० ऑक्टोबरपूर्वी केलेल्या रिचार्जची वैधता संपल्यावरच ग्राहकांना नवे शुल्क लागू होईल, असं कंपनीने स्पष्ट केलंय.

IUC शुल्कासाठी जिओचे व्हाउचर्स

जिओने आपल्या वर्तमान प्रीपेड आणि पोस्टपेड प्लानमध्ये कुठलाही बदल केलेला नाही. कंपनीने IUC शुल्क वेगळे व्हाउचर्स सुरू केलेत. जिओ ग्राहक १० रुपये ते १०० रुपयांपर्यंत व्हाउचर्स घेऊ शकता. जिओने प्रत्येक १० रुपयांच्या व्हाउचरसोबत १ जीबी अतिरिक्त डेटा देण्याची घोषणा केलीय. यानुसार १०० रुपयांच्या हाउचरवर १० जीबी अतिरिक्त डेटा ग्राहकांना मिळणार आहे.

असे असेल जिओ ग्राहकांसाठी IUC शुल्क

आउटगोइंग कॉल्सवरील शुल्कामुळे ग्राहक नाराज होतील, अशी जिओला भीती आहे. यामुळे कंपनीने एक व्हिडिओ जारी करत ग्राहकांना समजवण्याचा प्रयत्न केलाय. IUC शुल्क हे इतर कंपन्यांच्या तुलनेत कमी आहेत, असं जिओने या व्हिडिओत म्हटलंय. आर्ध्या तासाच्या कॉलसाठी जिओच्या ग्राहकांना १.८० रुपये IUC शुल्क द्यावे लागते. तर इतर कंपन्या इतक्याच कालावधीसाठी ४५ रुपये घेतात, असं जिओने स्पष्ट केलंय.

IUC शुल्क म्हणजे नेमंक काय?

आउटगोइंक कॉल करणारा ऑपरेटर हा कॉल रिसिव्ह करणाऱ्या ऑपरेटरला शुल्क देतो. यालाच इंटरकनेक्ट युजेस शुल्क म्हणजे IUC असं म्हणतात. ट्रायने ६ पैसे प्रतिमिनिट इतके IUC शुल्क निश्चित केले आहे. उदा. जिओचा एखादा ग्राहक व्होडाफोन नंबरवर कॉल करत असेल तर जिओला ६ पैसे प्रतिमिनिट दराने व्हाोडाफोनला पैसे द्यावे लागतील.

अजित पवारांना ५७ कलमी प्रश्नावली

नागपूर: जीगाव, निम्नपेढी, रायगड आणि वाघाडी या चार सिंचन प्रकल्पांचे कंत्राटदार माजी आमदार संदीप बाजोरिया यांच्या बाजोरिया कन्स्ट्रक्शन कंपनीला अवैधरीत्या वर्कऑर्डर आणि मोबलायझेशन अॅडव्हान्स मंजूर केल्याप्रकरणी एसीबी अमरावतीने माजी उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार यांना ५७ कलमी प्रश्नावली दिली असून त्यांनी ५२ प्रश्नांची उत्तरे सादर केली आहेत. तर दोनदा याप्रकरणी त्यांची चौकशी करण्यात आली आहे, अशी माहिती एसीबी अमरावतीचे अधीक्षक श्रीकांत ढिवरे यांनी मुंबई हायकोर्टाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठासमोर सादर केली.

विदर्भातील सिंचन प्रकल्पांची सीबीआयमार्फत चौकशी करण्यात यावी, अशी विनंती करणारी जनहित याचिका जनमंच आणि अतुल जगताप यांनी हायकोर्टात सादर केली. त्यावर न्या. सुनील शुक्रे आणि न्या. मिलिंद जाधव यांच्या खंडपीठासमोर २० नोव्हेंबरपासून अंतिम सुनावणी सुरू होत आहे. तत्पूर्वी अमरावती एसीबीच्या अधीक्षकांना अजित पवार यांची आजवर झालेल्या चौकशीची माहिती हायकोर्टात सादर केली.

दरम्यान, विदर्भातील गोसेखुर्द आणि जीगाव प्रकल्पांच्या गैरप्रकारांमध्ये तत्कालीन उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार यांचा थेट सहभाग असून त्यांच्याच्या स्वाक्षरीने अनेक कंत्राटदारांना वर्कऑर्डर आणि मोबलायझेशन अॅडव्हान्स मंजूर करण्यात आल्याचे शपथपत्र एसीबीचे महासंचालक संजय बर्वे यांनी हायकोर्टात सादर केली होती. परंतु, त्यानतंर एसीबीने अजित पवार यांच्यावर नेमकी काय कारवाई केली, त्याबाबत कोणतीही माहिती सादर करण्यात आली नाही. तत्पूर्वी राज्य सरकार व एसीबीला आवश्यक असणारी माहिती रेकॉर्डवर सादर करण्याचा आदेश देण्यात आला होता. अजित पवार यांनी नियमबाह्यरीत्या गोसेखुर्द प्रकल्पाच्या कामात सुमारे १८२.९६३० कोटी आणि जीगावच्या कंत्राटदाराला १२.११ कोटींचा मोबलायझेशन अॅडव्हान्स मंजूर केल्याची माहिती महासंचालक संजय बर्वे यांनी कोर्टाला दिली होती. त्यानुषंगाने १६ जुलै २०१९ रोजी अजित पवार यांची अतिरिक्त अधीक्षकांनी चौकशी केली. त्यात पवार यांनी मोबलायझेशन अॅडव्हान्स कशाप्रकारे मंजूर केले, त्याची माहिती दिली असल्याचे शपथपत्रात नमूद केले आहे. याशिवाय, ५७ कलमी प्रश्नावली पवार यांना देण्यात आली आहे. त्यात विविध प्रकल्पांच्या गैरप्रकारांबाबत विचारणा केली आहे. अजित पवार यांनी १६ सप्टेंबर २०१९ रोजी ५२ प्रश्नांची उत्तरे सादर केली. तर पाच प्रश्नांची उत्तरे माहिती अधिकारात सरकारकडून माहिती प्राप्त केल्यानंतर देण्यात येईल, असे नमूद केले आहे.

दरम्यान, निम्नपेढी प्रकरणात पाच जणांविरुद्ध गुन्हे दाखल करण्यात आले असून, प्राप्तिकर विभागाच्या आयुक्तांना संबंधित कंत्राटदाराच्या प्राप्तिकरची माहिती मागवण्यात आली आहे.

गुन्हा दाखल करण्याची परवानगी द्या!

लोअर पेढी प्रकरणातील निविदा प्रक्रिया या कायदेशीर असल्याचा अहवाल जलसंपदा विभागाने देत क्लीनचिट दिली होती. परंतु, याप्रकरणात गैरप्रकार झाला असल्याने गुन्हा दाखल करण्याची परवानगी द्यावी, अशी विनंती एसीबीने जलसंपदा विभागाकडे केली आहे.

ऑनलाइन स्वस्त, ऑफलाइन का महाग?

नागपूर: अॅमेझॉन, फ्लिपकार्ट आदी ऑनलाइन कॉमर्स पोर्टलवरील वेगवेगळ्या उत्पादनांवर भरमसाठ सवलत मिळत आहे. एकीकडे ऑनलाइन खरेदी स्वस्त पडत असताना दुसरीकडे ऑफलाइन (प्रत्यक्ष) खरेदीमध्ये ग्राहकांना वस्तू महागड्या मिळत आहेत. ग्राहकांवर होणाऱ्या या अन्यायाविरुद्ध अखिल भारतीय किरकोळ व्यापारी महासंघाने (कॅट) आवाज उठवला आहे. ऑनलाइनप्रमाणेच ऑफलाइन खरेदी करताना सवलत का दिल्या जात नाहीत, असा सवाल उपस्थित करणारे पत्र देशभरातील ब्रॅण्ड्सना पाठविण्यात आले आहे.

ई-कॉमर्स पॉलिसीअंतर्गत दोनप्रकारे ऑनलाइन व्यापार होतो. त्यामध्ये इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मॉल आणि इन्व्हेंटरी मॉडेल या दोघांचा समावेश आहे. इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मॉलमध्ये अॅमेझॉन, फ्लिपकार्ट यांसारख्या कंपन्या देशभरातील व्यापाऱ्यांना त्यांची उत्पादने विकण्यासाठी ऑनलाइन व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध करून देतात. तर इन्व्हेंटरी मॉडेल या दुसऱ्या प्रकारामध्ये अॅमेझॉन, फ्लिपकार्ट आदी कंपन्या स्वत: उत्पादनांची विक्री करू शकतात. परंतु, भारतात अद्याप इन्व्हेंटरी मॉडेलला परवानगी नाही. त्यामुळे ई-कॉमर्स कंपन्या स्वत:हून स्वत:च्या उत्पादनांची विक्री करू शकत नाहीत. त्यासाठी सरकारने ‘प्रेसनोट-३’ नावाखाली नियमावली तयार केली आहे. त्यानंतरही दिवाळी सणानिमित्त ई-कॉमर्स कंपन्यांद्वारे मोठ्या प्रमाणात सवलती देण्यात येत आहेत. उत्पादनांवर चाळीस ते सत्तर टक्के सवलत दिल्यामुळे ऑफलाइन बाजाराला खीळ बसली आहे. याबाबत कॅटने वारंवार तक्रार केली. तक्रारींची दखल घेत वाणिज्यमंत्री पीयूष गोयल यांनी बैठक बोलाविली. ज्यात अॅमेझॉन, फ्लिपकार्ट या कंपन्यांचे प्रतिनिधी सहभागी झाले होते. बैठकीमध्ये दोन्ही कंपन्यांनी उत्पादनांवर भरमसाठ सवलत देत नसल्याचे स्पष्ट केले. tweपोर्टलद्वारे कुठल्याही प्रकारची सवलत देण्यात येत नाही, असे सांगत ब्रॅण्ड्स त्यांच्या उत्पादनांवर सवलत देत असल्याचा दावा केला. त्यामुळे कॅटने देशभरातील ब्रॅण्ड्सशी पत्रव्यवहार केला आहे. त्यात ऑनलाइनप्रमाणेच ऑफलइन सवलत का देण्यात येत नाही, असा सवाल उपस्थित केला आहे. आज ग्राहक पूर्णत: डिजिटल झालेला नाही. सर्व ग्राहक ऑनलाइन खरेदी करत नाही. अशास्थितीत एकाच कंपनीचे उत्पादन ऑनलाइनवर स्वस्त दरात आणि ऑफलाइन बाजारात तुलनेने महागडे विकले जात आहे. ग्राहकांवरील हा अन्याय दूर व्हायला हवा, अशी मागणी करण्यात आल्याची माहिती कॅटचे राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष बी. सी. भरतिया यांनी दिली.

ब्रॅण्ड्सची बैठक लवकरच

कॅटने या मुद्द्याला गंभीरतेने घेत सरकारशी देखील पत्रव्यवहार केला आहे. त्यानुसार लवकरच देशभरातील ब्रॅण्ड्सची बैठक बोलाविण्याची मागणी पुढे आली आहे. त्यामध्ये ऑनलाइन खरेदीवर मिळणाऱ्या सवलतींवर स्पष्टीकरण मागण्यात येणार आहे. ई-कॉमर्स कंपन्यांनी सवलत देत असल्याचे नाकारल्यामुळे ब्रॅण्ड्सच्या उत्तराकडे सात कोटी किरकोळ व्यापाऱ्यांचे लक्ष लागलेले आहे.

Tata Motors announces countrywide customer dialogue programme and service campaigns

Mumbai, October 2019: Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle player, is set to organize the Grahak Samvaad campaign, exclusively for Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle customers between 10th to 21st of October. Grahak Samvaad will be followed by celebrations of “National Customer Care Day” on 23rd October. धरणं भरण्यापेक्षा स्वयंपाक केलेला बरा; उद्धव ठाकरेंचा शरद पवारांना टोला

नागपूर: सरकार आल्यानंतर १० रुपयांत जेवण देण्याच्या शिवसेनेच्या घोषणेची खिल्ली उडवणाऱ्या राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसचे अध्यक्ष शरद पवार यांना शिवसेना पक्षप्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी जोरदार प्रत्युत्तर दिलं आहे. तुम्ही तुमच्या पुतण्याला आवरा. धरणं भरण्यापेक्षा स्वयंपाक केलेला कधीही बरा, असं उद्धव ठाकरे परांडा येथील प्रचारसभेत म्हणाले.

पुन्हा आमचं सरकार आल्यानंतर गोरगरिब जनतेला १० रुपयांत जेवणाची थाळी देऊ असं आश्वासन देणाऱ्या शिवसेना पक्षप्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे यांच्यावर शरद पवार यांनी बार्शी येथील सभेत निशाणा साधला होता. शिवसेनेची झुणका-भाकर योजना कधी बंद झाली ते कळलंच नाही आणि ते आता थाळी देणार आहेत. तुम्हाला राज्य चालवायचं आहे, स्वयंपाक करायचा आहे, असा टोला पवार यांनी लगावला होता. पवारांच्या या टोल्याला उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी परांडा येथील सभेत प्रतिटोला लगावला आहे. शरद पवार, तुम्ही पुतण्याचा आवरा. धरणं भरण्यापेक्षा स्वयंपाक केलेला कधीही बरा, असं ते म्हणाले. यावेळी अजित पवारांनाही त्यांनी लक्ष्य केलं. अजित पवारांच्या डोळ्यांमध्ये अश्रू आले. दुष्काळाच्या वेळेला तुमचे अश्रू कुठे होते? दगडाला सुद्धा पाझर फुटतो ऐकलं होतं. त्यामुळं अजित पवार यांना सुद्धा अश्रू फुटतात हे कळल्यावर बरे वाटले, असा टोला त्यांनी हाणला.

‘स्वयंपाकासाठी तुमच्या धरणातलं पाणी नको’

शिवसेना पक्षप्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे यांची सोलापुरातील बार्शीमध्येही प्रचारसभा झाली. या सभेत त्यांनी पुन्हा शरद पवार यांच्यावर निशाणा साधला. जनतेसाठी स्वयंपाक करायचा आहे. पण त्या स्वयंपाकासाठी तुमच्या धरणातील पाणी नको, अशा शब्दांत त्यांनी पवारांची खिल्ली उडवली.

उद्धव यांच्या भाषणातील ठळक मुद्दे:

>> पवार साहेबांबद्दल मला आदर आहे. भरपूर मेहनत घेत आहेत; पण हीच मेहनत त्यांनी योग्य दिशेने केली असती; तर आज महाराष्ट्राची अशी दुर्दशा झाली नसती.

>> पवारसाहेब असं म्हणत आहेत की हे सरकार घालवल्याशिवाय मी स्वस्थ बसणार नाही. तुम्ही काहीही केलं तरी हे सरकार जाणार नाही. आम्ही तुम्हाला स्वस्थ बसू देणार नाही.

>> शरद पवार स्वतःच्या पक्षाच्या वसंतदादा पाटलांच्या पाठीवर वार करून मुख्यमंत्री झाले. हा त्यांचा कामाचा अनुभव आहे.

>> ‘शोले’ चित्रपटातील आसरनीसारखे ‘आधे इधर जाओ, आधे उधर जाओ’ अशी अवस्था त्यांची झालेली आहे.

>> शहरातील लोकांसाठी मुख्यमंत्री सडक योजना चालू आहे. पण विरोधक काही काम केलं तरी टीका करतात.

शिष्यवृत्ती घोटाळ्याची ईडीकडून दखल

नागपूर: राज्यातील इंजिनीअरिंग व इतर कोर्सेसच्या कॉलेजेसमध्ये झालेल्या शिष्यवृत्ती घोटाळ्याची सक्तवसुली संचालनालय (ईडी) मार्फत चौकशी करण्यात येणार आहे, अशी माहिती अधिकृत सूत्रांनी दिली.

राज्यातील कॉलेजेसने बोगस विद्यार्थी प्रवेशाच्या आधारे राज्य व केंद्र सरकारकडून मोठ्या प्रमाणावर शिष्यवृत्ती लाटली. त्याप्रकरणी चौकशी करण्यासाठी राज्य सरकारने विशेष तपास पथकाची स्थापना केली होती. परंतु, गेल्या दोन वर्षांत याप्रकरणात कोणतीही कारवाई झालेली नाही. त्यामुळे आता ईडीने या घोटाळ्याची दखल घेतली असून त्याची चौकशी करण्यात येणार आहे.

ईडीने मनिलॉंडरिंग प्रतिबंधक कायद्यांतर्गत कॉलेजेसवर कारवाई करण्याची तयारी केली आहे. ईडीचे सहायक संचालक गोपाल गाडे यांनी सामाज कल्याण विभागाकडून कॉलेजेसला देण्यात आलेल्या शिष्यवृत्तीची माहिती मागितली आहे. कॉलेजेसने बोगस विद्यार्थी प्रवेश दाखवून शिष्यवृत्तीचा मोठ्या प्रमाणावर आर्थिक लाभ लाटला असल्याचा दावा करण्यात येत आहे. यापैकी बहुतांश कॉलेजेस हे राजकीय नेत्यांची आहेत. राजकीय नेत्यांनी समाज कल्याण विभागातील अधिकाऱ्यांना हाताशी धरून हा घोटाळा केल्याचा दावा करण्यात येत आहे. दरम्यान, एसआयटीने २०१० ते २०१७ या कालावधीतील जिल्हानिहाय कॉलेजेसमध्ये देण्यात आलेल्या शिष्यवृत्ती वाटपाची चौकशी केली होती. त्यात नर्सिंग, व्होकेशनल, टेक्निकल आणि दुरस्थ शिक्षण पद्धतीच्या कोर्सेसचा समावेश होता. त्यामुळे ईडीने आता त्या सात वर्षात किती प्रवेश झालेत, किती विद्यार्थ्यांनी शिष्यवृत्तीची मागणी केली, तसेच किती विद्यार्थ्यांना शिष्यवृत्ती मंजूर झाली, त्याची माहिती मागितली आहे. सदर माहितीचे विश्लेषण केल्यानंतर ईडीकडून येत्या काळात थेट मोठी कारवाई होण्याची शक्यता वर्तवण्यात येत आहे.

नागपूर: नागपूर महानगरपालिकेच्या उपद्रव शोध पथकाद्वारे सार्वजनिक ठिकाणी थुंकणे व उघड्यावर लघवी करणा-या २३८४ जणांवर कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे. दहाही झोनमधील पथकाद्वारे ११ डिसेंबर २०१७ ते १० ऑक्टोबर २०१९ दरम्यान ही कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे. विशेष म्हणजे, सिव्‍हील लाईन्स येथील मनपा मुख्यालय परिसरातही उपद्रव शोध पथकाद्वारे उघड्यावर लघवी व थुंकणा-या ११० जणांवर कारवाई करुन दंड वसूल करण्यात आला आहे.

मनपा आयुक्त अभिजीत बांगर, अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम जोशी यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात उपद्रव शोध पथकाचे स्कॉड लिडर विरसेन तांबे यांच्या नेतृत्वात पथकाद्वारे कारवाई सुरू आहे. नियमांचे उल्लंघन करुन शहर विद्रुप करणा-यांवर कारवाई करण्यासाठी नागपूर महानगरपालिकेतर्फे उपद्रव शोध पथक तैनात करण्यात आले आहे. झोन स्तरावर पथकाची नेमणूक करण्यात आली असून पथकामध्ये ८७ जणांचा समावेश आहे.

उपद्रव शोध पथकाद्वारे ११ डिसेंबर २०१७ ते १० ऑक्टोबर २०१९ या कालावधीत सार्वजनिक ठिकाणी थुंकणा-या १०५२ जणांवर कारवाई करुन ९५ हजार ८०० रुपये दंड वसूल केला तर उघड्यावर लघवी करणा-या १३३२ जणांकडून २ लाख ९ हजार ७०० रुपये दंड वसूल करण्यात आला आहे. दोन्ही कारवाईमध्ये एकूण २३८४ जणांकडून ३ लाख ५ हजार ५०० रुपये दंड वसूल करण्यात आला आहे.

हनुमान नगर, लक्ष्मीनगर व गांधीबाग झोनमध्ये सर्वाधिक कारवाई

उपद्रव शोध पथकाद्वारे सार्वजनिक ठिकाणी थुंकण्याबाबत सर्वाधिक कारवाई हनुमान नगर झोनमध्ये तर उघड्यावर लघवी करण्याबाबत लक्ष्मीनगर व गांधीबाग झोनमध्ये सर्वाधिक कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे. हनुमान नगर झोनमध्ये सार्वजनिक ठिकाणी थुंकणा-या सर्वाधिक २८९ जणांवर कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे. यापाठोपाठ लक्ष्मीनगर झोनमध्ये १५९, गांधीबाग झोनमध्ये ११७, धरमपेठ झोनमधील ११५, आसीनगर झोनमध्ये ९५, लकडगंज झोनमधील ९१, धंतोली झोनमध्ये ८७, मंगळवारी झोनमधील ६२, नेहरु नगर झोनमधील २७ व सतरंजीपुरा झोनमधील १० जणांवर कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे.

लक्ष्मीनगर व गांधीबाग झोनमध्ये उघड्यावर लघवी करणा-या प्रत्येकी २५५ जणांवर कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे. या पाठोपाठ धंतोली झोनमध्ये २१०, मंगळवारी झोनमध्ये १४९, धरमपेठ व लकडगंज झोनमध्ये प्रत्येकी ११४, आसीनगर झोनमध्ये १०८, हनुमान नगर झोनमध्ये ७१, नेहरू नगर झोनमध्ये ४५ व सतरंजीपुरा झोनमध्ये ११ जणांवर कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे. झोनस्तरावर तैनात उपद्रव शोध पथकाकडून ही कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे.

ALT Flap Allo-transplantation saves post Viper snake bite leg defect

One 30 years old Male was recently brought to Orange City Hospital & Research Institute- a unit for Ravi Nair Hospitals Private Limited at 1.30 am in night in emergency with alleged history of Snakebite on Left foot. As per history given by him, while working in MSEB office at Saleragaon, Samudrapur, Viper snake bite on his left foot around 8.30 pm. He received First aid treatment at PHC, Girad. As Viper venom is very dangerous, it causes immediate swelling and pain in Lt. Leg and later gangrene in Lt. Foot. Being aware of the critical care readiness at OCHRI; his colleagues rushed him here. He was admitted under the care of Dr. Rajesh Atal- Critical Care Physician and Dr. Gaurav Jannawar- Plastic Surgeon. Therapeutic dose of Anti snake venom (ASV) was immediately started with other supportive treatment as per protocol. After thorough investigations, he was diagnosed as Vasculotoxic (Viper) snake bite with Left Lower Limb Cellulitis with gangrene with Acute Kidney Injury.

The patient had a large post snake bite Gangrene and cellulitis defect over Lt. Ankle. A successful tissue allotransplantation using free ALT flap and serial debridement & dressing was carried out by Dr. Gaurav Jannawar, while Dr. Neeta Deshpande and Dr. Anita Pande- Anaesthetists provided necessary anesthesia.

Dr. Gaurav Jannawar informed that “Conventional dressings would take months to heal and skin grafting would have caused late development of contracture. Hence state of art tissue Allo- transplant using thigh flap with microvascular anastomosis helped in speedy recovery in this patient. Early surgical intervention by removing the local bite area prevented the spread of gangrene in Lt. Foot.

Dr. Rajesh Atal said that “Early medical management with ASV helped patients in early stabilization.” Snake bites often occur in remote locations far from medical centers, and anti-venoms are expensive, require refrigeration, and demand significant expertise to administer and manage, he further added.

Udaybhaskar Nair- NAIRSONS Chairman stated that such lifesaving acts by TEAM OCHRI justifies commencement of OCHRI in memory of his late brother Ravi Nair not to earn profits for Nair family but only to save lives.

The patient has now been successfully treated and discharged. Nagpur based OCHRI is among the few critical care centers which has anti-snake venom (ASV) treatment available 24×7 along with hospital stationed round the clock trained group of Critical care specialists for rendering timely treatment. ASV is the medically recommended line of treatment for snake bites and if administered at the earliest can effectively save life.

Maharashtra Election 2019: Congress, NCP Work For Their Families, We For India, Says BJP Chief Amit Shah

NAGPUR: Union Home Minister and BJP chief Amit Shah on Friday said the Congress and NCP work for their respective families, while the BJP and Shiv Sena have only the country’s interest in their mind.

Addressing a poll rally in Buldhana district of Maharashtra, Mr. Shah lambasted the opposition for opposing scrapping of Article 370 of the Constitution, which accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

“The people of Maharashtra have a choice to make. The Congress and NCP work for the welfare of their respective families, whereas the BJP and Shiv Sena have only the country’s interest in their mind,” Mr. Shah said.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first decision after winning a historic mandate for a second term in May was to scrap Articles 370 and 35A, which were impediments incomplete integration of Jammu and Kashmir with India.

“No PM ever dared to touch this issue. But, Modiji did it. Today Kashmir is an integral part of the country. “Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said rivers of blood will flow in the Valley if the decision (scrapping Article 370) was taken and voted against the decision in Parliament. But, not a drop of blood has been shed,” the BJP chief said.

The home minister said for the BJP, the country’s security is more important than vote-bank politics.

“Why is the opposition asking what is the connection of Article 370 with Maharashtra politics? The entire country wanted Kashmir to be a part of India and Modiji fulfilled that wish,” Mr. Shah said.

The assembly polls in Maharashtra, which has a 288- member assembly, will take place on October 21. The ruling BJP -Sena is seeking a second term in office.

The ‘Heart Space’, a collaborative hub at the centre of the new Jaguar Design Studio, will bring together the diverse and creative 280-strong team as it designs future generations of Jaguars.

Surrounding the Heart Space are bespoke working environments for the Interior, Exterior and Colour and Materials teams, plus Design Visualisation and Design Technical disciplines.

Jaguar Design is made up of designers from across the globe and from a range of industry backgrounds, including fashion, watch-making, sports and gaming. Being drawn from such different spheres of design helps the team deliver its ‘Jaguar’ interpretation of Britishness using contemporary materials and processes. Those processes utilise industry-leading technology, including custom-made clay modelling machines allowing 20 models to be worked on at once, virtual reality (VR) systems and an 11-m K digital display wall known as ‘The Electric’. The floor area of the new Jaguar Design Studio measures over 12 000m2 – an increase of around 33% of the total previous studio spaces based in Whitley.
