नागपूर : माध्यम लोकसेवा प्रतिष्ठान या सेवाभावी संस्थेच्या वतीने येत्या २२ ते २८ डिसेंबर या कालावधीत “शिवपुत्र संभाजी” महानाट्याचे प्रयोग नागपुरात आयोजित करण्यात आल्याची माहिती प्रतिष्ठानाचे अध्यक्ष माजी आमदार मोहन मते यांनी पत्रपरिषदेत दिली.
“स्वराज्यरक्षक संभाजी” फेम अमोल कोल्हे संभाजी महाराजांच्या भूमिकेत आहेत. रेशिमबाग मैदानात उभारलेल्या भव्य सेटवर रोज सायंकाळी ५.३० ते रात्री ९.३० या वेळेत महानाटकाचे प्रयोग होणार आहे. महाराजा शंभू छत्रपती प्रॉडक्शन पुणेची निर्मिती असलेल्या महानाट्याचे लेखक व दिग्दर्शक शिवशंभू शाहीर महेंद्र महाडिक आहेत. विशेष म्हणजे हे महानाट्य नि:शुल्क असून रोज सुमारे ४० हजार लोक एकाच वेळी पाहू शकतील, असे मते यांनी सांगितले.
या महानाट्यात सुमारे २५० कलावंत असून यातील १२५ कलावंत मुंबईचे आहेत. तर उर्वरीत कलावंत स्थानिक आहे. या महानाट्याचा खर्च प्रायोजकांच्या माध्यमातून भरून काढण्यात येणार असल्याचे मते म्हणाले. महानाट्यात औरंगजेबाची भूमिका सुप्रसिद्ध कलावंत रवी पटवर्धन यांची असून संगीत चिन्मय सत्यजित यांचे असून गीते अॅड. महेंद्र महाडिक, दत्तात्रेय सोनावणे व रोहित पंडित यांची आहे. या महानाट्याला शालेय व महाविद्यालयीन युवक युवतींनी यावे यासाठी शाळा-महाविद्यालयात जाऊन मुलांना संभाजी महाराजांची माहिती देण्यात येणार असल्याचे मते यांनी सांगितले.
हत्ती, घोडे, उंटांचा वापर
या महानाट्यासाठी १३० फूटांचा भव्य रंगमंच उभारण्यात येणार आहे. ८० फूट लांब व ५५ फूट उंच किल्ल्याची प्रतिकृती आकर्षणाचे केंद्र राहाणार आहे. प्रथमच १८ फूट जहाजाचा वापर करून संभाजी महाराजांनी दिलेला जंजीऱ्याचा लढा साकारल्या जाणार आहे. संपूर्ण पूर्व विदर्भात या विषयी जागृती करण्यात येणार असून नागपुरात मतदारसंघानुसार नाट्य प्रेमींना आमंत्रित केले जाणार असल्याचे मते यांनी सांगितले. यावेळी पत्रकार परिषदेला संजय खुळे, बिजू पांडे, राजेश छाबरानी, रमण ठवकर, संजय भोसले आदी उपस्थित होते.
पेट्रोल-डिझेलच्या वाढत्या आयातीवर देशाचे परकीय चलन मोठ्या प्रमाणात खर्च होत आहे. त्यामुळे हा वाढता खर्च कमी करण्यासाठी पहिल्या टप्प्यात महाराष्ट्रातील नागपूर, चंद्रपूर वर्धा आणि गडचिरोली हे चार जिल्हे आपण लवकरच डिझेलमुक्त करून तेथे बायोडिझेल, इथेनॉलच्या वापरास प्रोत्साहन देणार असल्याची घोषणा गुरुवारी केंद्रीय वाहतूकमंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांनी केली.
महाराष्ट्र राज्य सहकारी बँकेला केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांनी भेट दिली. त्याप्रसंगी ते पत्रकारांशी बोलत होते. साखर उद्योगाला सध्या आर्थिक अडचणींचा सामना करावा लागत आहे. त्यामुळे यापुढे साखर कारखान्यांनी केवळ साखरेचे उत्पादन न करता इतरही पूरक उत्पादनांचे म्हणजे इथेनॉल, वीजनिर्मिती, शुगर फ्री साखरेचे उत्पादन करावे तरच कारखानदारी टिकेल असे मत त्यांनी व्यक्त केले. तसेच पूरक उत्पादनांसाठी राज्य बँकेने कारखान्यांना कर्ज उपलब्ध करून द्यावे असे आवाहनही गडकरी यांनी केले. ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्थेला बळकटी देण्याबरोबरच कृषीमाल सहजपणे परदेशात निर्यात करता यावा म्हणून आपण नाशिक, सांगली, सोलापूर आणि वर्धा येथे ड्रायपोर्ट तयार करणार असून ती मोठ्या बंदरांना जोडणार असल्याचेही त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले. यावेळी सहकारमंत्री सुभाष देशमुख, खासदार संजयकाका पटील, राज्य बँकेचे अध्यक्ष विद्याधर अनास्कर, प्रशासक मंडळाचे सदस्य संजय भेंडे, अविनाश महागावकर आदी उपस्थित होते.
वर्धा, नागपूर आणि बुलढाणा या तीन जिल्हा मध्यवर्ती सहकारी बँका सध्या आर्थिक अडचणीत आहेत. त्या पार्श्वभूमीवर या बँका लवकरच महाराष्ट्र राज्य सहकारी बँकेत विलीनीकरण करण्यात येणार असल्याची माहिती राज्य बँकेच्या प्रशासकीय मंडळाचे सदस्य संजय भेंडे यांनी दिली. त्यामुळे या बँकांच्या ग्राहक आणि सभासदांना मोठा दिलासा मिळणार आहे.
New Delhi : Kings XI Punjab on Thursday parted ways with local boy and India’s 2011 World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh along with eight other players that include Australia’s limited overs skipper Aaron Finch, ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction next month.
The Punjab franchise have retained only nine players, that include captain Ravichandran Ashwin, their fiery opening duo Chris Gayle and Lokesh Rahul and their bowling spearheads in Andrew Tye and Mujeen Ur Rahman. The team has meanwhile, traded Marcus Stoinis for local boy Mandeep Singh.
“We have retained all core players. We have ensured that the balance of the squad is ensured. A lot of factors came in while retaining the players,” said newly-assigned coach Mike Hesson.
Yuvraj, who managed just 65 runs at a poor average of 10.38 in the eight games last season, was bought at his base price of Rs 2 crore in the previous auction.
नागपूर : शहरातील सक्करदरा पोलीस स्टेशनच्या हद्दीत राहणाऱ्या ‘कपिल नासिरकर‘ नाव असलेल्या युवकाचा मृतदेह त्याच्या राहत्या घरी संशयास्पद अवस्थेत आढळला. या घटनमुळे परिसरात खळबळ उडाली आहे. यासंदर्भात पोलिसांनी आकस्मिक मृत्यूची नोंद केली आहे. या प्रकरणाचा तपास सुरू असून निष्कर्षानंतरच पुढील कारवाई केली जाणार आहे.
कपिल नासिरकर हा तरुण नागपूर येथे सक्करदरा पोलीस स्टेशनच्या हद्दीतील न्यू सुभेदार नगर येथे पत्नी आणि मुलीसोबत राहत होता. घरापासून जवळच असलेल्या एका पेट्रोल पंपावर तो काम करायचा. तेथे त्याला कधी दिवसा तर कधी रात्रपाळीत काम मिळत होते. कपीलची पत्नी खासगी नोकरी करत असल्याने तीदेखील दिवसभर घराबाहेरच असते. दरम्यान, कपिलची पत्नी प्रिया ही तिच्या मुलीला आईकडे सोडून सकाळीच नोकरीवर निघून गेली. परंतु प्रकृती बरी नसल्याने ती आईकडेच थांबली.
सकाळी जेव्हा ती स्वतःच्या घरी परतली तेव्हा घराचा दरवाजा आतून बंद होता. रात्रपाळीत काम केल्यामुळे कपिल आत झोपला असेल असे तिला वाटले. परंतू उशिरापर्यंत दरवाजा न उघडल्याने तिने घरमालकाला मदतीसाठी बोलाविले. दोघांनी मागच्या दरवाजातून आत प्रवेश केला. तेव्हा कपिल मृतावस्थेत पडल्याचे चित्र पाहून तिला धक्काच बसला.
सूत्रानुसार कपिलच्या मृतदेहावर आणि बिछान्यावर रक्ताचे डाग आढळून आले आहेत. त्याच्या डोक्यावर गंभीर जखमाही दिसून येत आहेत. मृतदेहाजवळ नायलॉनचा दोरदेखील आढळून आल्याने कपिलचा मृत्यू नेमका कशामुळे झाला याचे उत्तर शोधण्यासाठी पोलीस तपासासाठी फॉरेन्सिक तज्ज्ञांची मदत घेणार आहेत. दरम्यान, या घटनेसंदर्भात पुराव्यांच्या आधारावर घातपाताची शक्यता वर्तवण्यात येत आहे.

Nagpur : A team from Nagpur led by Dr Rishab Joshi brought home three awards at India Film Project for their short film ‘Wake up!’ which was screened at Nehru centre, Mumbai.
India Film Project 50-hour film-making challenge is celebrating its 8th season and is Asia’s largest content creation festival held annually in Mumbai. A total of 32,000 film-makers participated from 11 countries in the grand event.
Dr Rishab Joshi, a dentist who works at VSPM Dental College Nagpur, and son of well-known Dentist Dr Shyamkant Joshi, has a passion for photography and film-making. This is his first short film under the banner of ‘not.just.a.dentist’ films.
‘Wake up!’, the film is about a guy from Nagpur who suffers from narcolepsy and insomnia and starts experiencing sudden changes in his life which ultimately lead to fulfillment of his wishes.
The three awards are — 5 Best film of the year, Best script of the year (Dr Rigved Joshi, also son of Dr Shyamkant Joshi), and Best actor of the year (Santosh Hirasinghani).
Entire film was shot in Nagpur at various places like Candle Light restaurant, The Dental Park, Asia Renal Care Hospital, and various streets of the city.
Nagpur: Taking serious cognisance of a series of news reports by sources on lack of conductors affecting smooth operations of Aapli Bus, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s transport department has issued termination notice to M/s Security and Intelligence Services (India) Limited for unsatisfactory and deficient performance.
To ensure smooth city bus operations, the NMC had appointed two ticketing agencies — Security and Intelligence Services (SIS) and Unity Infrastructure. SIS was supposed to provide 300 conductors, while Unity 1,200 and the two agencies together to operate 320 buses. Even the Delhi Integrated Multimodal Transit System Ltd (DIMTS), which is assigned to monitor the entire operations, had informed the NMC about the Aapli Bus service being affected due to lack of conductors.
SIS was supposed to provide fare collection personnel or conductors for 109 buses associated with Orange Depot at Hingna and was assigned to provide fare collection service on the scheduled bus services prior to a bus’s departure. However, the agency has not been able to provide adequate number of conductors thus causing loss to the tune of over Rs3 crore.
In a letter to SIS, the NMC’s transport manager Shivaji Jagtap stated that the firm grossly failed to deploy adequate number of conductors commensurate the number of the scheduled services for the past several months. Due to unavailability of SIS conductors, the NMC had to cancel 2,419 buses between January and September this year, the notice revealed. Even though default charges have been levied on SIS for such deficiencies with repeated strong advices to cure the deficiencies, the former has not taken any remedial steps to arrest the decline in the performance.
The firm has also failed to deposit statutory payments like provident fund, ESI etc pertaining to fare collection personnel thus causing grave violation of labour laws, the notice read. In view of the aforementioned circumstances and left with no other option, contract with the agency stands terminated 30 days from the date of issue of the letter on November 1.

The makers had earlier shared the poster of the movie that has given us an insight into the plot of the film. It had Emraan Hashmi’s face stitched together with exam admission cards and rupee notes.
‘Cheat India’ also featuring actress Shreya Dhanwanthary marks the debut of Emraan Hashmi in film production. It is directed by Soumik Sen and co-produced by Bhushan Kumar and Atul Kasbekar.
The film is slated to release on January 25, 2019.
Nagpur : Shanti Nagar Police booked 25 Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) activists for rioting and damaging the property at Satranjipura Zone office of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Wednesday. MNS activists were demanding cleaning up of Naik Talao and nearby areas.
According to Police, led by MNS leaders Aditya Durugkar, Durgesh Sakulkar, Praveen Waghmare, Roshan Nikhare, Ujwal Hedau, Akash Parteki and 20 others staged demonstrations and damaged the chairs at the office of Satranjipura Zone of NMC.
Following a complaint lodged by Nilkanth Tumsare (40), police registered an offence under Sections 143, 147, 149, 427, 186 of the Indian Penal Code, read with Section 3 of Damage to Public Property Act, against the agitating MNS activists.
चंद्रपूर : चंद्रपूर जिह्यातील जुनोना जंगल वाघांसाठी प्रसिद्ध आहे. येथे गुरुवारी सकाळी दोन मृतदेह आढळले होते. संध्याकाळ होता होता ट्रॅकवर आणखी एका बछड्याचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. रेल्वे मार्गावर 2 बछडे मृत पावल्याची घटना सुरुवातील समोर येताच परिसरात खळबळ उडाली. बछडय़ांचे वय 7 ते 8 महिने असल्याचा अंदाज आहे.
गुरुवारी सकाळी दोन बछड्यांची मृतदेह रेल्वे रुळावर ज्या ठिकाणी आढळले होते तिथूनच जवळपास तीनशे मीटर अंतरावर तिसऱ्या बछड्याचे मृतदेह सापडला आहे.
जुनोना जंगलातून बल्लारपूर-गोंदिया हा रेल्वे मार्ग जातो. सकाळी निघणाऱ्या बल्लारपूर-गोंदिया रेल्वेने हा अपघात झाला. सकाळी हे बछडे रेल्वे मार्गावर खेळत असावेत तेव्हा अचानक आलेल्या रेल्वेमुळे हा अपघात झाल्याची शक्यता वर्तविण्यात येत आहे.
या बछड्यांच्या आईचा शोध आता सुरू करण्यात आला आहे कारण जर बछड्यांचा रेल्वेच्या धडकेत मृत्यू झाला असेल तर मग वाघीणही अशाच पद्धतीने जखमी होऊ शकते किंवा मृत्यूमुखी पडू शकते असा संशय वर्तवला जातोय.
पुणे: अवनी वाघिणीच्या मृत्यूवरून केंद्रीय मंत्री मनेका गांधी आणि वनमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांच्यात पुन्हा शाब्दिक खटका उडाला आहे. मनेका गांधींनी मुख्यमंत्र्यांना पाठवलेल्या नव्या पत्रात वन खात्यावर गंभीर आरोप केलेत. यानंतर मुनगंटीवारांनी मनेका गांधींवर जोरदार पलटवार केला.
अवनी वाघीण नरभक्षक झाली होती. त्यामुळे न्यायालयाच्या निर्देशानुसारच तिचे ‘एन्काऊंटर’ करण्यात आले. यामध्ये नियमांचे कोणतेही उल्लंघन झालेले नाही. तरीही निष्कारण माझ्या राजीनाम्याची मागणी केली जात आहे. पण मी हे स्पष्टपणे सांगतो की, माझा राजीनामा मनेका गांधी नव्हे तर, भाजप अध्यक्ष अमित शहा मागू शकतात, असे मुनगंटीवार यांनी म्हटले. अवनी वाघिणीला ठार मारल्यानंतर मनेका गांधींनी वनमंत्र्यांच्या राजीनाम्याची मागणी केली होती. आता पुन्हा एकदा मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांना पत्र पाठवून गंभीर आरोप केलेत. अवनी वाघिणीच्या बछड्यांना वाचवण्यासाठी वनखाते काहीही प्रयत्न करत नाही, असा त्यांचा आरोप आहे.
Xiaomi is set to launch a new smartphone — or will there be two — soon. The company has revealed at least one of these phones is going to be a Note series phone, which is almost certain to be the Redmi Note 6 Pro that was earlier launched in global markets.
Xiaomi on Thursday tweeted that it will launch a new Note series — read Redmi Note 6 Pro — on November 22.
Xiaomi India chief Manu Jain confirmed on his Twitter feed that the new phone is indeed the Note 6 Pro. He tweeted, “Mi fans! Today’s first #Super3 announcement is here for you: Pumped up to announce that #RedmiNote6Pro is coming to India! The new Note rises on 22.11.2018.”

नागपूर : विविध कंपन्यांसाठी कोळशाची वाहतूक करणाऱ्या ट्रकचालकांचे कोळसा चोरांशी साटेलोटे असून कोळसा खाणीतून कोळसा चोरीचा प्रकार सुरू होतो. यावर निर्बंध घालण्यासाठी आता वेकोलि प्रशासनालाच कारवाई करण्याची आवश्यकता आहे. कारण, स्थानिक पोलिसांच्या आशीर्वादानेच कोळसा चोरांचे फावत आहे.
खापरखेडा, कन्हान परिसरातील कोळसा खाणींमधून मोठय़ा प्रमाणात कोळसा चोरी करण्यात येत आहे. कोळसा चोरीतून मिळणाऱ्या बक्कळ पैशांसाठी ग्रामीण भागात गुन्हेगारांच्या अनेक टोळ्या निर्माण झाल्या आहेत. परिसरातील खाणींवर वर्चस्व मिळवण्याच्या प्रयत्नात गुन्हेगारांमध्ये अनेकदा टोळीयुद्धही झाले आहेत. खापरखेडा, कन्हान व कामठी परिसरात अशा अनेक घटना घडल्या आहेत. खापरखेडा पोलीस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीत प्रामुख्याने किल्ले कोलार परिसरात गुड्ड बंगाली, उमेश पानतावणे, अरविंद भोये, कामठी परिसरात सोनू हाटे हे कोळसा चोरीतील मोठी नावे आहेत. यातील सोनू हाटे याला कुख्यात कालू हाटे व कामठी नगरपरिषदेचे उपाध्यक्ष कुख्यात रणजीत सफेलकर यांचा आशीर्वाद प्राप्त आहे.
सूत्रांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, कोळसा चोरीसाठी त्यांनी एनटीपीएस, महाजेनकोमध्ये कोळसा पुरवठा करणाऱ्या कंपन्यांच्या ट्रकचालकांशी हात मिळवणी केली. ट्रकचालकांना एका टनमागे ४०० ते ५०० रुपये दिले जातात. त्यासाठी ट्रकचालक हा रस्त्यावर काही ठिकाणी जाणीवपूर्वक कोळसा पाडतो. त्यानंतर कोळसा चोर तो कोळसा उचलतात व खुल्या बाजारात विकतात. काही महिन्यांपूर्वी शहरातील परिमंडळ-५ चे पोलीस उपायुक्त सुहास बावचे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात कामठीच्या सोनू हाटेवर कारवाई करण्यात आली होती. आता पुन्हा तो या व्यवसायात सक्रिय झाला आहे. मात्र, खापरखेडा व कामठी परिसरात इतरांवर अद्यापही कोणतीच कारवाई करण्यात आली नाही. याचे कारण स्थानिक पोलिसांचा आशीर्वाद असल्याचे सांगण्यात येते. यासंदर्भात विचारणा केली असता ग्रामीण पोलीस अधीक्षक राकेश ओला यांनी संबंधितांवर कारवाई करणार असल्याची प्रतिक्रिया दिली.
एका टिप्परमधून २० ते २३ टन कोळशाची वाहतूक करण्यात येते. मात्र, ट्रकचालक कोळसा खाणीतील वजन काटय़ावरील कर्मचाऱ्याशी संगनमत करतात. बाहेर एका टनाकरिता ४०० ते ५०० रुपये कोळसा तस्करांकडून घेतात. त्यापैकी प्रति टन १०० रुपये वजन काटय़ावरील कर्मचाऱ्याला देतात. अशाप्रकारे ट्रकचालक एका ट्रकमध्ये चार ते पाच टन अधिकचा कोळसा भरून घेतात व तो कोळसा तस्करांपर्यंत पोहोचवतात.

Nagpur : A Nagpur court has issued a notice to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat after he was accused of violating police permission by displaying lathis during an event attended by former President Pranab Mukherjee at the Sangh’s headquarters in June.
Bhagwat has been asked to appear before the district sessions court in Nagpur on December 11. A magistrate had earlier thrown out the petition, following which the Nagpur-based petitioner and social worker moved the sessions court.
“The police had granted permission to hold the path sanchalan (parade) without any weapons. Around 700 swayamsevaks participated in the rally with lathis in their hands violating the ground for permission,” said Mohanish Jivanlal Jabalpure.

Nagpur: Pappu Advani, owner of the Advani Dhaba on Nagpur-Chandrapur Road, has been placed under arrest for his alleged involvement in the liquor smuggling racket which was behind the murder of sub-inspector Chhatrapati Chide near Nagbhid on November 8. Police have so far arrested 19 persons and rounded up a minor.
Chandrapur police, who have already managed to nab liquor mafia Shahzad Shaikh and driver of the killer vehicle Chhotu Bangali, have managed to procure the custody of the 19 accused in the case till November 20. The minor has been sent to the remand home.sources had already referred to the involvement of a dhaba on Nagpur-Chandrapur Road from where the liquor consignment had been sent. The vehicle, ferrying the consignment, had crushed PSI Chide to death at a nakabandi in an attempt to flee the spot.
Nagpur : Crime Branch team, on Wednesday, arrested two teenage boys who used to hire cameras and never returned them to their owners. Cops seized 17 cameras worth Rs 8.40 lakh from their possession. The accused have been identified as Vaibhav Vinod Harshe (19), a resident of Shanti Nagar, and Akshay Leeladhar Wanjari (19), a resident of Bele Nagar, Kalamna.
Police Inspector Jagvendrasingh Rajput informed that Piyush Naresh Shahu (20), a resident of Bajeriya, had posted an advertisement on OLX that Canon 1300D camera was available on rent. Vaibhav contacted Piyush on October 26 and took the camera on rent for ten days. He promised Piyush that he would pay him Rs 300 per day. After ten days, Piyush contacted Vaibhav but the latter’s cellphone was switched off. Piyush then went to Vaibhav’s house. Piyush saw 10-15 persons standing in front of Vaibhav’s house asking him to return their cameras.
Piyush lodged a complaint with Tehsil Police who registered a case under Sections 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code against Vaibhav and Akshay. Soon, a team of Unit III of Crime Branch started simultaneous investigation and nabbed Vaibhav and Akshay. Cops seized 17 cameras worth Rs 8.40 lakh which they had mortgaged with some persons.

मुंबई : पैशांवरून नवरा बायकोमध्ये झालेल्या भांडणात एका चिमुकल्याचा हकनाक बळी गेल्याची घटना सांताक्रुझ परिसरात घडली आहे. भांडणांमुळे वैतागलेल्या त्या महिलेने स्वत:च्या पोटच्या मुलाला विष पाजल व स्वत: देखील आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न केला. यात त्या चिमुकल्याचा मृत्यू झाला असून महिलेची प्रकृती गंभीर असल्याचे समजते.
सांताक्रुझमध्ये राहणाऱ्या रिना अहिरे (३४) हिचे तिचा पती राजेशसोबत बुधवारी रात्री कडाक्याचे भांडण झाले. त्यानंतर रिना त्यांचा पाच वर्षाचा मुलगा हर्षला घेऊन घराबाहेर पडली. तिथून ती जुहू बीचवर गेली. तिथे काही वेळ बसल्यानंतर तिने जवळच असलेल्या एका मेडिकलमधून उंदीर मारण्याचे औषध घेतले. ती ते विषारी औषध स्वत: प्यायली व त्यानंतर उरलेले तिने हर्षला पाजले.
औषध प्यायल्यामुळे हर्षला त्रास होऊ लागल्यानंतर रिनाला तिची चूक लक्षात आली. त्यानंतर ती हर्षला कूपर रुग्णालयात नेले मात्र तेथे त्याचा उपचारादरम्यान मृत्यू झाला. याप्रकरणी डॉक्टरांनी पोलिसांना कळविल्यानंतर पोलिसांनी रिना विरोधात गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे. मात्र रिनावर देखील अद्याप उपचार सुरू असल्याने तिला अटक करण्यात आलेली नाही. पोलिसांनी याविषयी रिनाच्या नवऱ्याला कळविल्यानंतर त्याला जबर धक्का बसला आहे.
नागपुर : मेडीट्रिना इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ मेडिकल साइंसेस सटे पेड़ों को बिना इजाजत काटने के मामले में नागपुर महानगरपालिका ने मेडीट्रिना को नोटिस जारी किया । पेड़ों की कटाई के दौरान ही मनपा द्वारा कार्रवाई करने से कटाई रोक दी गई ।
बता दे कि मेडीट्रिना परिसर के पास तकरीबन 16 पेड़ मौजूद है जिनमें से 4 पेड़ों की कटाई की जा रही थी जिसको देखते हुए एक जागरूक नागरिक ने इसकी शिकायत ग्रीन विजन फाउंडेशन को की ।इसके बाद संस्था के कोऑर्डिनेटर ने मनपा विभाग के उद्यान विभाग को इसकी जानकारी दी ।उद्यान विभाग के सलाहकार सुधीर माटे व सुधीर नागमोटे ने घटनास्थल पर पहुँच कर पेड़ की कटाई रुकवा दी ।
गौरतलब है कि नियम अनुसार पेड़ काटने के लिए अनुमति लेना आवश्यक है । अर्बन ट्री एक्ट के अनुसार इसके लिए नागपुर मनपा से इसकी इजाजत ली जानी चाहिए | इसके अनुसार एक पेड़ काटने के बदले 5 पौधे लगाना होगा और ₹5500 का जुर्माना भरना होगा ।
Delhi : One of the most celebrated two-wheeler brands in the country, Jawa Motorcycles is officially back in business, 22 years after the last product was rolled out by the manufacturer. The company has unveiled its first all-new offering for the Indian market, The Jawa, which is priced at ₹ 1.64 lakh while the other model, Jawa 42 is priced at ₹ 1.55 lakh. Jawa also showcased a factory-custom bobber model called the Jawa Perak, which is priced at ₹ 1.89 lakh (All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The Jawa Perak will be made available for sale at a later date.
Unsurprisingly, the first modern Jawa motorcycle is called Jawa, and it pays homage to the first ever Jawa motorcycle, which was called just Jawa as well. The Jawa is a 300 cc retro-styled cruiser, taking the fight straight to Royal Enfield’s 350 cc range. The Jawa 300 takes you back to the original bikes from the 1970-80s that ruled the Indian roads, albeit the new bike gets a modern heart and mechanical parts.
The Jawa brand has been brought to life by Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group, which owns 60 per cent stake in the venture. The remaining holding belongs to entrepreneur Anupam Thareja and Boman Irani, son of Rustom Irani, the founder of Ideal Jawa.
Unlike the original though, this one offers a better build, more power and lower centre of gravity. The round headlamp, fenders and bulbous fuel tank, all look period correct, while the small details including the chain guard, seat, add to the old-school look.
Mechanically, this is a modern motorcycle underneath. The bike uses a 293 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is tuned to produce 27 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine on the Jawa is BS VI ready and has a future ready catalytic convertor as well. The bike uses telescopic forks up front and gas-charged twin shock absorbers at the rear. The Jawa 300 gets a 280 mm disc brake at the front and a 153 mm drum brake set-up at the rear. As a result, the bike only offers single-channel ABS as part of the braking setup. The bike weighs 170 kg and the seat height is 765 mm, which is one of the lowest in class. The Jawa has a wheelbase of 1,369 mm and fuel tank capacity of 14 litres. The Jawa Perak uses the same engine as the Jawa and the Jawa 42, but has a bigger bore, displacing 332 cc and it makes 30 bhp and 31 Nm of peak torque.
The Jawa gets 3 colours which are Black, Grey and Maroon while the Jawa 42 will have six colours which are Halley’ Teal, Galactic Green, Starlight Blue Lumos Lime, Nebula Blue and finally Comet Red.
Jawa motorcycles will be available across the company’s independent new dealerships pan India. 105 dealerships will be coming in soon across the country and the deliveries will begin early next year. The Jawa motorcycles will be made at the company’s Pithampur plant in Madhya Pradesh. Bookings for the Jawa and the Jawa 42 are open at Jawa’s website.
नागपूर : सुरक्षेच्या दृष्टिकोनातून नागपूर रेल्वे स्थानकावरील अनेक मार्गांवर प्रवेश बंदी करण्याचा निर्णय रेल्वे प्रशासनाने घेतला आहे. स्थानकाच्या आत प्रवेश करण्यासाठी अनेक मार्ग असल्याने गैरप्रकारांमध्ये वाढ झाली होती. या पार्श्वभूमीवर रेल्वे प्रशासनाने ‘वन एंट्री वन एक्झिट सिस्टम’ सुरू केली आहे.
नागपूर रेल्वेस्थानक हे मध्यभारतातील सर्वात महत्वाचे रेल्वेस्थानक आहे. देशाच्या मध्यस्थानी असल्यामुळे शेकडो गाड्या नागपूर मार्गेच देशाच्या कानाकोपऱ्यात प्रवास करतात. गेल्या काही वर्षांमध्ये नागपूर रेल्वे स्थानकात गैरप्रकारांमुळे प्रवाशांच्या सुरक्षेसंदर्भात गंभीर प्रश्चचिन्ह निर्माण होत आहे. एवढेच नाही तर रेल्वेतून दारू, गांजासह अमली प्रदार्थांची तस्करी देखील वाढल्या आहेत.
वाढत्या गुन्हेगारी घटना थांबवण्यासाठी रेल्वे स्टेशनच्या आत आणि बाहेर जाणाऱ्या अन्य मार्गांना बंद करून केवळ वन एंट्री वन एक्झिट सिस्टम लागू करण्यासाठी मध्य रेल्वेचे मंडळ सुरक्षा आयुक्त ज्योती कुमार सतीजा हे प्रयत्न करीत होते. अखेर त्यांच्या प्रयत्नांना यश आले असून मंडळ रेल्वे प्रबंधक महेंद्र उप्पल यांनी आरक्षण काउंटरच्या शेजारी असलेले एमसीओ गेट बंद केले आहे. शेकडो प्रवासी मुख्य मार्गाने न जाता एमसीओ गेट मधूनच रेल्वे स्थानकात प्रवेश करत असत. त्यामुळे या मार्गे येणाऱया सामानाची तपासणी होत नव्हती. मात्र, आता एमसीओ गेटवर कुलूप लावण्याने गैरप्रकारांना आळा बसण्यास मदत होणार आहे.
Mahindra Electric has just launched the Mahindra Treo range of electric three-wheelers in India at a starting price of Rs 1.36 lakh for the Treo Yaari soft top e-rickshaw, while the Treo electric three-wheeler is priced at Rs 2.22 lakh (Both prices, ex-Bengaluru). The Treo electric vehicle (EV) comes powered by a lithium-ion battery pack. The range consists of two variants, Treo and Treo Yaari, each with hard or flex canopy soft-top options. The Treo can seat a driver plus three passengers like any conventionally-fuelled auto rickshaw, while Treo Yaari seats a driver plus four. Mahindra claims that with ranges per charge between 85 and 130km, the Treo will offer a low running cost of 50 paise per km, with the potential to save up to 20 per cent more compared to an LPG-powered auto rickshaw.
The Treo features a zero maintenance, lithium-ion battery that has a battery life of more than 5 years. This doubles the mean life of previously used lead acid batteries.
The Mahindra Treo with a 7.37kWh lithium-ion battery has a claimed range of 170km per charge (130km typical driving range). The battery charges to full in 3 hours 50 min. The Treo sports a single 5.4kW eletric motor powering its rear wheels, with 30Nm of torque. The Treo has claimed top speed of 45kmph.
The Mahindra Treo Yaari, meanwhile, features a smaller 3.69kWh lithium-ion battery with a claimed range of 120km per charge (85km typical driving range). This battery, ehich charges in 2 hours 30 min, powers a 2kW motor with a peak torque of 17.5Nm. The top speed on the Treo Yaari is 24.5kmph (claimed).
Mahindra is offering a 50,000km or 24-month warranty on the Treo, while the Treo Yaari will have a 30,000km or 18-month warranty. In terms of features, both models receive windscreen and wiping system, spare wheel and three driving modes – low, medium, and high.
The Mahindra Treo also features the option of adding a telematics unit and GPS. This feature could come in handy for fleet operators and other bodies to monitor the location of each Treo and manage them more effectively.
नागपुर : देशभर में जहां अयोध्या राम मंदिर के निर्माण की चर्चा जारी है वहीं राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ ने भी इस मुद्दे को महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दा बताते हुए सामने आ गई है। विश्व हिंदू परिषद के कहने पर संघ ने 25 नवंबर को ‘हुंकार सभा‘ का आयोजन किया है।
खास बात यह है कि राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ चाहता है कि इस रैली में आने वाले लोगों की संख्या ज्यादा हो जिसके लिए संघ ने भाजपा को एक लाख लोगों की भीड़ इस रैली में जुटाने के लिए टारगेट दिया है। इसी सिलसिले में भाजपा के सभी विदर्भ के विधायकों की बैठक 17 नवंबर को रेशम बाग स्थित स्मृति भवन में की गई थी ।
गौरतलब है कि पिछले शनिवार को स्मृति भवन में सभी संघ परिवार संगठनों की बैठक की गई थी । इस बैठक में फैसला लिया गया कि राम मंदिर बनाने के लिए पूरे देश में ऐसी सभाओं का आयोजन किया जाएगा ।नागपुर के साथ साथ अयोध्या और बेंगलुरु में भी हुंकार रैली का आयोजन किया जाएगा ।
नागपुर : मेडिकल कॉलेज के नेत्र विभाग के ऑपरेशन थिएटर में गटर का पानी घुसा जिसके कारण कई मरीजों के ऑपरेशन को स्थगित कर दिया गया। ख़ास बात यह है कि मुख्यमंत्री के चुनाव क्षेत्र के कुछ मरीजों को यहां सर्जरी के लिए भर्ती करवाया गया था लेकिन ऑपरेशन थिएटर में पानी घुसने के कारण गुरुवार को होने वाली सर्जरी स्थगित कर दी गई।
मेडिकल के चांसलर डॉक्टर अभिमन्यु निसवाडे ने कहा कि , “मेडिकल स्थित नेत्र विभाग में सभी सर्जरी के होने के बाद अॉपरेशन थिएटर पानी में डूब गया था जिसके तुरंत बाद प्रशासन को और पीडब्लूडी विभाग को इसकी जानकारी दी गई। पीडब्ल्यूडी की मदद से इसे सही भी कर दिया जाएगा। जिसके बाद गुरुवार को अगर कोई समस्या हुई तो पूरे सिस्टमैटिक तरीके ऑपरेशन कहीं और करने की व्यवस्था की जाएगी जिससे किसी मरीज को कोई परेशानी नहीं होगी l”
लेकिन मेडिकल की देखभाल और रखरखाव की जवाबदारी पीडब्लूडी विभाग की है। मेडिकल के वरिष्ठ डॉक्टरों ने शिकायत करते हुए कहा कि कई बार हॉस्पिटल की अच्छी टाइल्स बदल दी जाती है पर मरीजों से संबंधित काम करने की शिकायत करने पर देर तक इंतजार करना पड़ता है। प्रशासन ने कहा गटर लाइन साफ करवाने की जिम्मेदारी पीडब्ल्यूडी विभाग की है लेकिन उनके इस मामले को नजरअंदाज करने के कारण यह घटना घटी है |
नागपूर : चंद्रपूर गोंदिया रेल्वेमार्गावर आज (ता. 15) सकाळी वाघाचे सहा महिने वयाचे दोन बछडे रेल्वेखाली येऊन मृत्युमुखी पडले. अवनीचा विषय ताजा असतानाच ही मोठी घटना घडल्याने वनविभागात मोठी खळबळ उडाली आहे.
चंद्रपूरजवळील वनविकास महामंडळच्या लोहारा जंगलातून गोंदियाकडे जाणारा रेल्वेमार्ग आहे. अतिशय घनदाट असे हे जंगल असून, वन्यजीव इथे विपुल प्रमाणात आहेत. वाघिणीपासून लांबवर खेळत असलेले हे बछडे रुळावर आले आणि त्याचवेळी आलेल्या भरधाव रेल्वेगाडीनं त्यांना उडवले. ही घटना रात्री घडली की सकाळी, याची माहिती वनविभागाकडे नाही. हे दोन्ही बछडे मादी असून, सहा महिने ते एक वर्षादरम्यान त्यांचं वय आहे. घटनेची माहिती मिळताच वरिष्ठ अधिकारी घटनास्थळी दाखल झाले.
चंद्रपूर ते मूलदरम्यानचा संपूर्ण मार्गच घनदाट जंगलातून गेला असल्याने यापूर्वीही वन्यजीवांचा बळी गेला आहे. त्यामुळे रेल्वे विभागाला इथून गाड्यांची गती कमी ठेवून भोंगा वाजवत जाण्यास सांगितले गेले आहे. मात्र, या सूचना पाळल्या जात नाहीत, असे वन्यजीव अभ्यासकांचे म्हणणं आहे.
ही घटना एक अपघात असला तरी अवनी प्रकरणामुळे वादात सापडलेल्या वनविभागाला मोठा धक्का देणारी आहे.
