‘इंडिया मॅन्युफॅक्चरिंग एक्सलन्स’ पुरस्काराने महाराष्ट्र सन्मानित

मुंबई : मॅन्युफॅक्चरिंग कॉम्पिटिटिव्ह इंडेक्स (उत्पादन क्षमतेचे मानांकन) आणि मॅन्युफॅक्चरिंग कॉम्पिटिटिव्ह रेट (उत्पादन क्षमतेमधील क्रमांक) या घटकांमध्ये महाराष्ट्राने ‘इंडिया मॅन्युफॅक्चरिंग एक्सलन्स ॲवॉर्ड’ प्राप्त केला आहे. देशातील २९ राज्यांचे या अनुषंगाने फ्रॉस्ट ॲण्ड सॅलिव्हन कंपनीने सर्वेक्षण केले. जागतिक पातळीवर ही कंपनी मार्केट संशोधन तसेच सर्वेक्षणासाठी प्रसिद्ध आहे. राज्याने विकासात (ग्रोथ) उत्तम, नाविन्यतेत (इनोव्हेशन) उत्कृष्ट, नेतृत्वाशी संबंधित मापदंडात (लीडरशीप) सर्वोत्तम अशी कामगिरी केल्याचे या कंपनीने केलेल्या पाहणीत दिसून आले आहे.

राज्याला इंडिया मॅन्युफॅक्चरिंग एक्सलन्स हा पुरस्कार जाहीर करण्यापूर्वी या कंपनीने देशातील 29 राज्यांची आर्थिक स्थिती आणि उत्पादकता, मनुष्यबळ आणि रोजगार क्षमता, टेक्नॉलॉजी, आणि इनोव्हेशन, प्रशासकीय सुलभता, पायाभूत सुविधा आणि गुंतवणुकीची उपलब्धता आदी घटकांचा तुलनात्मक अभ्यास केला. त्यात मागील दोन वर्षांपासून महाराष्ट्र राज्य हे उल्लेखनीय कार्य करत असल्याचे आढळून आले.

फ्रॉस्ट ॲण्ड सॅलिव्हन कंपनी गेल्या पंधरा वर्षांपासून देशातील उत्कृष्ट शंभर उत्पादन संस्थेचा विविध स्तरावर अभ्यास करते. यावर्षी केलेल्या पाहणीत महाराष्ट्राने देशात प्रथम क्रमांक पटकावल्याचे गुरुवारी मुंबई येथे कंपनीच्या पुरस्कार सोहळ्यात जाहीर करण्यात आले.

फ्रॉस्ट ॲण्ड सॅलिव्हन कंपनीच्या १५ व्या वार्षिक सोहळ्यात या पुरस्काराचे वितरण करण्यात आले. राज्य शासनाच्या वतीने उद्योगमंत्री सुभाष देसाई यांनी हा पुरस्कार स्वीकारला.

आरपीएफ की अनोखी पहल, वाहन चालकों से नो हाॅर्न की अपील

नागपुर : सड़क पर बिला वजह केवल आदत के कारण हार्न बजाने के दुष्परिणामों के प्रति जनजागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए शुक्रवार को आरपीएफ, मध्य रेल नागपुर मंडल की ओर से नो-हाॅर्न की पहल की गई। आरबीआई संविधान चौक तथा मंडल रेल प्रबंधक कार्यालय के सामने किंग्स-वे चौक पर मंडल सुरक्षा आयुक्त ज्योति कुमार सतीजा, आरपीएफ नागपुर, मध्यरेल समेत बल के जवानों ने नो-हाॅर्न के बोर्ड लेकर वाहन चालकों तथा लोगों से सांकेतिक अपील की। यह पहल शहर में नागरिक समझ बढ़ाने के लिए की गई।

तभी तो होगा अपना शहर स्मार्ट

ज्योति कुमार सतीजा ने कहा स्मार्ट शहर बनने की ओर अग्रसर नागपुर में ऐसी छोटी-छोटी पहल काफी कारगर साबित होंगी। शहर स्मार्ट बनेगा तब ही हम स्मार्ट नागरिक बन सकते हैं।

विभाग का दूसरा पहलू

इस पहल से शहर के लाेगों ने आपीएफ विभाग के एक नए रूप को देखा। पहल के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में लोग फोटो और वीडियो बनाते देखे गए।

राहुरी कृषी विद्यापीठातील पदवीदान सोहळ्यात स्टेजवरच भोवळ आल्यानं त्यांच्यावर तातडीने उपचार करण्यात आले. त्यानंतर शिर्डीला रवाना होताना त्यांनी आपल्या ट्विटर हँडलवरून भोवळ आल्याचे कारण सांगितले. तसेच आपली प्रकृती आता चांगली असल्याचे कळवले.

गडकरी यांच्या या ट्वीटमुळे समर्थकांनी समाधान व्यक्त केले आहे. तसेच आपण विश्रांती घ्या, जास्त धावपळ करू नका, असे प्रेमळ सल्ले देखील ट्विटरवरून दिले आहेत.

नागपुर : उपराजधानी का ही नहीं बल्कि विदर्भ का प्रसिद्द “महाराजबाग प्राणी संग्रहालय” सरकार की ओर से बंद किये जाने के विरोध में शहर शिवसेना की ओर से शुक्रवार को महाराजबाग झू में आंदोलन किया गया | यह आंदोलन शिवसेना जिला प्रमुख प्रकाश जाधव के नेतृत्व में सेकड़ो कार्यकर्ताओ के साथ किया गया |

माजी खासदार व जिल्हा प्रमुख शिवसेना प्रकाश जाधव ने कहा की १२५ वर्षो पुराना भोसलेकालींन नागपुर का प्राणी संग्रहालय “महाराजबाग झू ” को बंद करने के राजनीतिक षडयंत्र के विरोध में शिवसेना सड़क पर उतरेगा | बता दे यह प्राणी संग्रहालय भोसलेकालींन तो है ही किन्तु वह नागपुर की ऐतिहासिक धरोहर भी है | जिसे देखने रोज सेकड़ो पर्यटक, प्राणी प्रेमी, बच्चे सहित कई परिवार यहाँ आते है |

पता हो की इस ऐतिहासिक प्राणी संग्रहालय की मान्यता रद्द कर दी गई है। देश भर की चिड़ियाघरों और रेस्क्यू सेंटरों की निगरानी करने वाले प्राधिकरण सीजेडए यानि दी सेंट्रल जू अथॉरिटी ने जू रूल्स-२००९ के तहत आने वाले कई नियमों और आदेशों का पालन नहीं करने के कारण मान्यता का आवेदन अस्वीकार कर दिया। इसे लेकर सीजेडए का पत्र २९ नवंबर को प्रबंधन देखने वाले पंजाबराव देशमुख कृषि विद्यापीठ को जारी किया गया था।

आंदोलन के दरम्यान कार्यकर्ताओ ने नारेबाजी कर महाराजबाग चौक पर शिवसेना युवासेना द्वारा आंदोलन कर महाराजबाग झू के कंट्रोलर डॉ पंजाबराव देशमुख कृषि विश्वविद्यालय के उपकुलपति का घेराव कर उन्हें ज्ञापन सौपा गया|

Nagpur in the list of fastest growing cities :

An Oxford Economics report has said that 17 of the 20 fastest growing cities in the world between 2019 and 2035 will be Indian, Led by Surat.

By 2035, the combined GDP of Indian cities will still be very small compared with Chinese (or, indeed, North American and European) cities. However, in terms of GDP growth, it is Indian cities that are the star performers in our forecast. Of the top 20 fastest – growing cities in the world over the period 2019 – 2035, no fewer than 17 are Indian,” the report said.

The aggregate GDP of all Asian cities will for the first time exceed the combined GDP of all North American and European cities in 2027, the report has said.

Releasing its annual Global Cities research report, Oxford Economics said that by 2035, Chinese cities alone will generate more output than all cities in either North America or Europe. The study however added that New York will still be the largest urban economy in the world in 2035.

The study found that Surat, will register fastest annual growth with an average GDP growth rate of 9.2% between 2018 – 2035, followed by Agra, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Tiruppur, Rajkot, Tiruchirapalli, Chennai and Vijaywada.

The study said that outside India, the fastest growing city in the world will be Phnom Penh –Cambodia’s capital with an average expansion of 8.1 percent.

उपराजधानीत ३ लाख ७६ हजार मुलांना गोवर-रुबेलाची लस

नागपूर : गोवर-रुबेला या गंभीर आजाराचे उच्चाटन करण्यासाठी केंद्र व राज्य सरकारने कंबर कसली आहे. राज्यभरात प्रत्येक शाळांमध्ये लसीकरण मोहीम राबविली जात आहे. उपराजधानीत गेल्या सहा दिवसांमध्ये जिल्ह्यात ३ लाख ७६ हजार बालकांना लस देण्यात आली. अशी माहिती जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांनी दिली.

शहरात आतापर्यंत १ लाख ८५ हजार मुलांना लस देण्यात आली तर नागपूर ग्रामीणमध्ये १ लाख ९१ हजार मुलांना लस देण्यात आली. लसीकरणावर लोकांचा विश्वास वाढत असल्याने विद्यार्थ्यांचा आकडाही वाढत चालला आहे. दिवसेंदिवस या मोहिमेला व्यापक प्रतिसाद मिळत आहे. मात्र शहरात अजूनही काही शाळांमधील विद्यार्थ्यांच्या पालकांमध्ये गैरसमज आहे. यासाठी मनपा आयुक्त अभिजित बांगर यांनी पुढाकार घेऊन शुक्रवारी अशा शाळांच्या मुख्यध्यापिका, नोडल अधिकारी, पालक संघटनेच्या अधिकाऱ्यांची बैठक घेणार असल्याची माहिती आहे.

प्राप्त माहितीनुसार, शहरात दहा झोनपैकी पहिल्या चार झोनमधील शाळांमध्ये उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद मिळत आहे. अनेक शाळांमध्ये १०० टक्के लसीकरणही झाले आहे. मात्र पाच ते दहा झोनमध्ये अनेक शाळांमध्ये अद्यापही लसीकरण झालेले नाही. काही शाळांमध्ये मोजकेच विद्यार्थी लसीकरणासाठी समोर आले आहे. अफवा आणि गैरसमज कसे दूर करता येईल यावर प्रशासन तोडगा काढण्याचा प्रयत्नात आहे. याचाच एक भाग म्हणून शुक्रवार ७ डिसेंबर रोजी मनपा आयुक्तांनी अशा सर्व शाळांचे मुख्याध्यापक, लसीकरणाचे नोडल अधिकारी, शाळांमधील पालक संघटना, मनपाचे अधिकारी यांची बैठक बोलावली आहे.

नागपूर : बॉलीवूडचे ‘शहंशाह’ बिग बी अमिताभ बच्चन सध्या दिग्दर्शक नागराज मंजुळे यांच्या ‘झुंड’ चित्रपटाच्या निमित्ताने राज्याची उपराजधानी नागपूरमध्ये शूटींगच्या कामात व्यस्त आहेत. त्यांनी अन्य कोणालाही आपली वेळ दिलेली नाही.

असे असताना भाजपच्या कार्यक्रमात डुप्लिकेट अमिताभ बच्चन आणून पाठ थोपटून घेण्याचा प्रयत्न भाजपचे दक्षीण नागपूरचे आमदार सुधाकर कोहळे यांनी केला आहे. भाजप आमदारांनी ‘कोहळा’ दाखवून आवळा दिला, अशी चर्चा सुरू असून आमदाराचं हसं झाल्याचं चित्र आहे.

नागपूरकरांना खऱ्याखुऱ्या अमिताभ बच्चनला भेटायचे आहे. मात्र त्यांनी चित्रपटाच्या शूटींगमुळे कोणालाही वेळ दिलेला नाही. त्यामुळे भाजपच्या सीएम चषकाच्या कार्यक्रमात अमिताभ ऐवजी डुप्लिकेट अमिताभना आणून लोकांचं लक्ष खेचून घ्यायचं असा प्रयत्न आमदार कोहळे यांनी केला. गुरुवारी सायंकाळी क्रीडा स्पर्धेचा समारोप होता. यावेळी स्पर्धेतील विजेत्यांना डुप्लिकेट बच्चनच्या हस्ते पुरस्काराचे वाटप करण्यात आले.

कोहळे यांनी डुप्लिकेट बच्चन यांच्या हस्ते कौतुक करून घेतले. मात्र झालं उलटंच ‘दुधाची तहान ताकावर’ अशी कूजबूज नागपुरात सुरू झाली. त्यांनी स्वत:ची पाठ थोपटवून घेण्याच्या प्रयत्नात स्वत:चं आणि पक्षाचं हसं करून घेतलं अशाच प्रतिक्रिया येत आहेत.

दरम्यान, कार्यक्रमाला भाजपचे आमदार सुधाकर देशमुख, आमदार अनिल सोले हे देखील उपस्थित होते.

Uttarakhand Government bans ‘Kedarnath’ movie

Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj on Friday said screening of Hindi film Kedarnath has been stopped across the state, a day after the state High Court dismissed a plea seeking to ban the movie. Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Ashok Kumar said the film has been banned in seven districts.

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat chaired a meeting on Thursday evening after a committee headed by Maharaj submitted a report and decided not to officially ban the movie. The state, however, asked district magistrates to decide on the matter depending on the situation in areas under their jurisdiction.

“Our committee has forwarded our advice to chief minister & decided that law [and] order should be reviewed,” Maharaj told. “We asked district magistrates to maintain peace [and] everyone has decided that Kedarnath movie should be banned. The movie is banned everywhere in state.”

The movie stars actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan and is set in the backdrop of the 2013 deluge that ravaged the state.

Cheteshwar Pujara becomes 12th Indian player to accomplish 5000 runs in Test

Adelaide : It was a special performance from Cheteshwar Puiara as he scored a gritty century for India on Day 1 of their first Test match against Australia in Adelaide on Thursday.

In the process, Pujara also completed 5000 runs in Test cricket with the help of 16 centuries and 19 fifties.

Pujara took 108 innings to reach the milestone – fifth-fastest by an Indian cricketer along with Rahul Dravid – and it was extra special for him as his innings got the visitors out of a tough spot after losing early wickets.

When it comes to Indian cricketers, the fastest one to reach 5000 runs in Test cricket was Sunil Gavaskar (95 innings) followed by Virender Sehwag (99), Sachin Tendulkar (103) and Virat Kohli (105).

महामेट्रो बनविणार ‘आॅल इन वन अ‍ॅप’

नागपूर : महामेट्रो नागपूरच्या माध्यमातून देशात पहिल्यांदाच एका अ‍ॅपच्या माध्यमातून नागरिकांना मल्टी मॉडेल इंटिग्रेशन किंवा फिडर सर्व्हिसेस चा लाभ घेता येणार आहे.

महामेट्रोच्या पुढाकाराने सार्वजनिक वाहतूक सेवा देणाऱ्या शासकीय व खासगी संस्थांशी चर्चा करून ही संकल्पना प्रत्यक्षात कशी राबविता येईल, यावर विचारमंथन करण्यात येत आहे. राष्ट्रीय नागरी वाहतूक धोरणाप्रमाणे (एनयूटीपी) नागपूर शहरासाठी सर्व मेट्रो स्टेशनवरून सुविधाजनक वाहतूक व्यवस्था प्रदान करणे व पर्यावरण संवर्धन करण्याच्या दिशेने महामेट्रो कार्य करीत आहे.

महामेट्रोच्या या प्रयत्नामुळे नागरिकांना केवळ एका अ‍ॅपच्या माध्यमातून मेट्रोसह सायकल, ई-रिक्षा, ई-स्कूटर, आॅटो-रिक्षा, टॅक्सी, बस व इतर सार्वजनिक वाहतूक सेवा पुरविणाºया वाहनातून प्रवास करता येणार आहे. या अ‍ॅपच्या माध्यमाने शहरातील वाहतुकीच्या विविध घटकासंबंधी महत्त्वाची माहिती सहज मिळू शकेल. तसेच यात वाहतुकीच्या या साधनांचा मार्ग, वेळापत्रक आणि नेमका प्रवास दर काय ही माहिती मिळू शकेल. जीपीएस प्रणालीच्या मदतीने जवळील वाहनांची माहिती मिळेल. कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्डच्या साहाय्याने प्रवास भाडे चुकवणे देखील शक्य होईल.

Rumoured psychopath attacks two women out for morning walk

Nagpur : In yet another horrifying act, allegedly by a rumoured psychopath, two women out for morning walk were injured when they were assaulted with knief.

The incident took place on friday morning at around 6 am near Sharda Chowk in Raghuji Nagar under Hudkeshwar Police Station.

The women in their police complaint have said that this unidentified youth was riding motorcycle and allegedly fled after attacking the duo.

Two years ago, five women were attacked in the same manner and now the fresh incident has flared up the rumours of alleged psychopath being active in the town. At that time it was said that the series of attacks on women wad the handiwork of some unidentified psychopath.

Hudkeshwar police station is trying to trace the lead from the CCTV footages in the area.

Sonchiriya teaser: Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar’s dacoit drama

The first teaser video of Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Sonchiriya is finally out and it’s intriguing.

Apart from Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar, the movie also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana. The teaser of the film opens with a voice-over by Manoj Bajpayee and shows the visuals of a village where the dacoits have taken over.

It is interesting to note that the name of Manoj Bajpayee’s character is Man Singh, he had the same name in Man Singh in Shekhar Kapoor’s Phoolan Devi biopic Bandit Queen which was also about dacoits.

The movie is directed by Abhishek Chaubey, who has earlier helmed Udta Punjab, Dedh Ishqiya and Ishqiya and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

The movie is slated for a February 2019 release.

नागपूरच्या अल्पवयीन मुलीची राजस्थानात विक्री, जबरदस्तीच्या विवाहानंतर पाशवी अत्याचार

22-Year Old Girl Raped By Two Friends On Pretext Of Marriage In Hingna

नागपूर : शहरातील १४ वर्षीय अल्पवयीन मुलीची राजस्थानात विक्री करून तिचा बालविवाह लावण्यात आल्याची संतापजनक घटना समोर आली आहे. पीडिता कळमन्यातील असून ३० हजार रुपयात तिची विक्री करण्यात आली असल्याची माहिती सुत्रांनी दिली. या प्रकरणी कळमना पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल करून सुत्रधार महिला आणि तिच्या मित्राला अटक केली आहे.

सोनाली प्रल्हाद शाहू आणि स्वप्निल नरेंद्र नंदेश्वर या दोघांवर अल्पवयीन मुलीची राजस्थानात विक्री केली होती. पीडितेला राजस्थानमध्ये काम मिळवून देण्याचे आमिष दाखवून जाळ्यात ओढले होते. राजस्थानमध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणात श्रीमंत लोक राहत असून घरकाम करणाऱ्या महिला-मुलींना हजारो रुपये पगार मिळतो, असे सांगत आरोपींनी पीडितेला फसविले. त्यानंतर २६ नोव्हेंबरच्या रात्री आरोपींनी मुलीला राजस्थानमध्ये नेले.

राजस्थानमध्ये पोहोचल्यानंतर आरोपींनी मुलीला दलालाकडे सुपूर्द करून त्याच्याकडून ३० हजार रुपये घेतले. दरम्यान, पीडितेने मोठ्या बहिणीला फोन करून शेजारी राहणाऱ्या सोनाली आणि तिच्या मित्राने राजस्थानमधील बारा जिल्ह्यात आणून विकल्याचे सांगितले. तसेच आपले लग्न एका मध्यमवयाच्या व्यक्तीशी लावून दिले असून तो रात्रंदिवस आपल्यावर पाशवी अत्याचार करत असल्याचे सांगितले.

या संपूर्ण प्रकरणाची माहिती मिळताच पीडितेच्या वडिलांनी या घटनेची माहिती पोलिसांना दिली. त्यानंतर आरोपींना अटक करून पीडितेला २ दिवसांपूर्वी नागपूरला आणण्यात आले आहे.

‘ब्लू व्हेल’ के जाल में फंसकर मानसी ने की आत्महत्या , नागपुर

नागपुर : ‘ब्लू व्हेल’ ऑन लाईन सूसाइड गेम के जाल में फंसकर जान गंवाने वाली छात्रा मानसी के कमरे के भीतर ड्राइंग बुक में सूसाइड गेम मोमो के जैसा चित्र मिला है। पीड़ित मानसी के पिता और अन्य परिजनों ने एक बार फिर मानसी की मौत ऑन लाइन गेम के चक्कर में आत्महत्या करने की बात कही है, इस मामले में पुलिस ने मानसी का मोबाइल भी जब्त किया है। मामले की के तह तक जाने के लिए अब मानसी के मोबाइल को फोरेंसिंक लैंब और साइबर सेल के पास भेजा जाएगा। मोबाइल की जांच के बाद इस मामले में चौंकाने वाले खुलासे होने की संभावना है।

नरेंद्र नगर स्थित संत साईकृपा सोसायटी निवासी मृतक मानसी जोनवाल (१७) के कमर के भीतर ड्राइंग बुक में मोमो जैसा चित्र मिला है। जो कि मानसी ने अपने हाथ से बनाया है। जानकारी के अनुसार कुछ महीने पहले मानसी ने अपने वाट्अप नंबर पर ऑन लाइन गेम के चित्र की डीपी भी रखी थी। घटना के पूर्व मानसी ने पिज्जा आर्डर किया था, जो कि उसने अपनी मां नलीनी के साथ खाया था। उस समय मानसी की पिता से फोन पर बात भी हुई थी।

दोपहर करीब तीन बजे मानसी बल्ली को दूध पिलाने अपने ऊपरी माले पर स्थित कमरे में गई। उसके बाद वह नीचे नही आई। शाम करीब साढे़ पांच-पांच बजे अशोक घर पर आए। उस समय उनके कारोबार से जुडे लोग भी उनसे मिलने आए थे। इस बीच पत्नी नलीनी ने अशोक को बताया कि मानसी बहुत देर से ऊपरी माले पर स्थित कमरे में गई है, लिहाजा अशोक ने ऊपर जाकर देखा तो अंदर से कमरे का दरवाजा बंद था। आवाज देने पर भी जवाब नहीं मिलने से अनहोनी की आशंका हुई। जिसके बाद कमरे का दरवाजा तोड़ दिया गया। मानसी को फांसी पर लटका पाकर अशोक के पैरों तले से जमीन खिसक गई।

संगीत और गाना गाने में रुची रखने वाली मानसी सोशल मीडिया पर सक्रिय थी। जिसके लिए मानसी ने यू ट्यूब पर अपना चैनल भी बनाया था। इंस्टाग्राम और यू ट्यूब पर उसने खुद के गाए हुए कई गाने भी अपलोड किए थे। मानसी के मित्र परिवार की भी लंबी फहरिस्त है। इकलौती संतान होने से माता-पिता का भी मानसी से मित्रता जैसा व्यवहार था। इस कारण अपना मनपसंद काम करने और कही भी आने-जाने के लिए मानसी को कोई रोक टोक नहीं थी। इसके बावजूद मानसी द्वारा फांसी लगाना ऑन लाइन गेम की तरफ इशारा करता है।

IndiGo becomes first domestic airline to have 200 aircraft in its fleet

Mumbai: Budget carrier IndiGo on Thursday said it has become the first domestic airline to have 200 aircraft in its fleet.

Four new aircraft have joined the fleet, including town Airbus A320 ceo (VT-IKA and VT-IKB) and two A320 neo (VT IZK AND VT-IZI) taking the fleet count to 200 and number of deliveries to 226, IndiGo said in an internal communication.

With the addition of VT-IZI, IndiGo has become the first Indian airline to have two aircraft in its fleet, the largest domestic carrier said in the communication.

The Gurgaon-based no-frills carrier, which enjoys over 40 per cent of the total domestic traffic, had inducted the 100th aircraft on December 24, 2015.

“It has taken us only three years to take delivery of another 100 planes,” it added.

The airline’s fleet now comprises 123 A320ceos (current engine option), 61 A320 neos (new engine option) as well as 12 regional jets ATR.

IndiGo currently offers over 1,200 flights to 63 domestic destinations, which include 49 domestic and 14 international ones.

NMC to grant conditional nod for mobile towers

Nagpur: As per the directions of Maharashtra Government, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will grant temporary permission for regularization of mobile towers in city.

Nagpur city has around 800 mobile towers and presently, the civic body is not generating any revenue from the towers due tendency of a public interest litigation (PIL) in Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court. It is assumed that the local body will earn Rs 10 crore per annum from the regularization of the towers for one year.

Sanjay Bangale, Chairman of Estate and Project Committee directed Town Planning Department to start issuing notices to mobile companies for regularisation of the towers. Bangale, who is close to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, personally took up the agenda with State Government to generate income for NMC by regularizing mobile towers. He hoped that this will generate a good revenue for NMC.

Recently, Urban Development Department has issued notification for regularization of towers in Nagpur. As per the directions, mobile towers will have to obtain conditional permission of the civic body to collect all the documents necessary for the final permission. The civic body will give conditional permission by recovering charges of Rs 2 lakh per annum for tower erected in sanction buildings and Rs 3 lakh for tower erected in unauthorized buildings. They also have to pay 18 per cent interest per annum from the year 2014 to 2018.

Sanjay Bangale also said, if the companies failed to obtain permission in a year, then earlier permission will stand cancelled. He expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister for the decision

नागपुरात पार्किंगच्या वादातून एकाला जबर मारहाण

नागपूर : जैन मंदिरात दर्शनासाठी आलेल्या एका व्यक्तीला पार्किंगच्या वादातून जबर मारहाण झाल्याची घटना समोर आली आहे. इतवारी परिसरात गुरुवारी ही घडली. या घटनेनंतर संतप्त झालेल्या जैन बाधंवानी लकडगंज पोलीस ठाण्याला घेराव घातला होता. त्यामुळे परिसरात तणाव निर्माण झाला होता.

मनीष जैन हे सहकुटुंब जैन मंदिरात दर्शनासाठी गेले होते. त्यावेळेस कार पार्किंगच्या मुद्यावरुन त्यांचा विक्की नावाच्या व्यक्तीशी वाद झाला. शाब्दिक वादाचे रुपांतर हाणामारीत झाले. विक्कीच्या साथीदारांनी मनीषला जबर मारहाण करायला सुरुवात केली. हाणामारीत मनीषच्या नाकाचे हाड मोडले. त्यामुळे त्यांना रुग्णालयात दाखल करण्यात आले. या घटनेची माहिती जैन बांधवांना मिळताच त्यांनी आपली दुकाने आणि प्रतिष्ठापने बंद करून थेट लकडगंज पोलीस स्टेशन गाठले.

संतप्त झालेल्या जैन बाधंवाची गर्दी पोलीस ठाणे परिसरात वाढू लागल्याने परिसरात तणाव निर्माण झाला होता. पोलिसांनी आरोपींविरुद्ध गुन्हा नोंदवून कारवाईचे आश्वासन दिल्यानंतर जैन बांधवांनी पोलीस ठाणे सोडले. ही सर्व घटना पोलिसांनी अतिशय संयमाने हाताळल्याने जैन समाजातील नागरिकांचा रोष कमी झाला.

Metro may miss even March 2019 deadline to operate on 2 routes

Nagpur : Though Maha Metro is working hard to start Nagpur Metro Rail operation on Khapri-Hingna to Munje Square, Sitabuldi by March 2019, it may miss the deadline as it does no have necessary permissions from Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) and Research and Design Standard Organisation (RDSO) yet.

Highly placed sources claimed, Dr Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director of Maha Metro has given the dead-line of February-2019 to finish all the construction work and laying of railway track of Reach-I and III. After completion of both the tracks, Maha Metro will apply to obtain permission of both the organisations. Permission from RDSO and CMRS is very important as it pertains to safety of the passengers.

The Administration of Maha Metro had already extended the dead-line to complete first phase-Reach-I and Reach-III of Nagpur Metro Rail Project by six months from November-2018.

However, the construction industry experts have predicted that construction may not be finished even by March- 2019.
Construction of pillars on both the tracks has been completed. However, the laying of viaduct across Adivasi Govari Flyover at Rani Jhansi Square to connect Hingna with Munje Square is pending. The Reach-III officers have decided to complete this work after December 15.However, in view of inordinate delay in the construction of all the stations in Reach I and III, now, Metro Rail is focussing to finish work of three stations- Airport, Jaiprakash Nagar, and Sitabuldi stations on Reach I and three stations – Lokmanya Nagar, Subhash Nagar, and Institute of Engineers Station on Reach-III, so that the operation may start by March 2019.

As per plan, the Metro Rail has station at every one km but they will start these six stations to take permission for trial run. As per information, Nagpur Metro has completed 80 percent construction of Airport Station while 75 percent of Jaiprakash Nagpur station of Reach-I has been finished. The remaining work is likely to be complete by January 2019, a senior officer informed.

On Reach-III, the Metro is working hard to complete all works of three stations including Lokmanya Nagar, Subhash Nagar, and Institution of Engineers. The work of Lokmanya Nagar station is near completion while work of other two stations is at advanced stage, Metro Officers stated. These stations will be ready by January 2019, he added.

Ekta Kapoor’s next with Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, Jabariya Jodi will hit theatres on 17 May, 2019. Producer Ekta Kapoor made the announcement via her official social media handles.

Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra started shooting for Jabariya Jodi in August. The first look of both the actors was also revealed in the same month.

Sidharth Malhotra will apparently play Abhay, a thug from Bihar who helps kidnap the grooms. This was previously pointed out the way he announced the film directed by Prashant Singh on his Instagram. Parineeti’s character’s name is Babli; details of her role are still under wraps. It was previously reported that both actors would undergo voice and diction training to get their accents right for the film.

The film was previously titled Shotgun Shaadi. It will revolve around groom kidnapping, a practice prevalent in Bihar where the grooms are forced to get married on gunpoint to avoid dowry. The actors are sharing the screen four years after Hasee Toh Phasee,which was produced by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap.

Mumbai : The BJP is considering fielding Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit-Nene from the Pune Lok Sabha constituency in the 2019 general elections, the party sources said. In June this year, BJP chief Amit Shah had met the actor at her residence in Mumbai during his party’s ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ (Contact for Support) programme and briefed her on the achievements of the Narendra Modi government.

A senior state BJP leader today told that the actress name has been shortlisted for the Pune Lok Sabha seat. “The party is seriously consid-ering giving candidature to Madhuri Dixit in the 2019 general elections. We think the Pune Lok Sabha constituency will be better for her,” he said.

“The party is in the process of finalising the list of probables for several Lok Sabha seats and Dixit’s name has been shortlisted for the Pune Lok Sabha constituency. she is being seriously considered for it,” the leader said.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had snatched the Pune Lok Sabha seat from the Congress, with Anil Shirole winning by a margin of over three lakh votes.

On the plans to field the actor, a senior BJP functionary said, “Such tactics were implemented by Narendra Modi in Gujarat when he became the chief minister for the first time. He changed all the candidates in local bodies election and the party reaped benefits of that decision.”

“As fresh faces were introduced, there was nothing to criticise them with. It left the opposition shocked and the BJP won maximum seats and retained power,” he said.

According to the leader, a similar experiment was also successfully carried out in Delhi local bodies polls in 2017, where all the sitting councillors were denied tickets. The BJP won the seats and retained the control, he said.

Nagpur : HC takes cognizance of tree felling for road on PDKV land

Nagpur : A letter highlighting civic body’s plans to fell 500 trees for constructing a temporary road from Bharat Nagar to Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran’s (MJP) office near Telangkhedi Hanuman Temple was treated as PIL by the Nagpur bench of Bombay high court. On Wednesday, a division bench comprising Justice Rav Deshpande and Justice Vinay Joshi,  the letter was send by environmental activist Jaydeep Das, appointed Kartik Shukul as amicus curiae in the case and asked him to draft a comprehensive petition.

Das’ Letter was based on a news which which highlighted MahaMetro and Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s (NMC) plans to construct a temporary road. He also dispatched his letter to Union environment minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, mayor Nanda Jichkar, MahaMetro managing director Brijesh Mishra, PDKV vice-chancellor VM Bhale and DCP (traffic) Raj Tilak Roushan. The proposed road would pass through a lush green patch on Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth’s (PDKV) land, which would involve unnecessary felling of over 500 fully grown trees.

The decision was taken as the regular road would be closed for about a year for traffic to pave way for construction of an amphitheatre on Telangkhedi Lake.

Expressing anguish and frustration over the decision-making process of the authorities, which he termed as “naive”, the activist accused them of committing murder of 500 trees ignoring the fact that city’s green cover was already depleting. “They neither conducted any study nor came up with a feasibility report before arriving on the decision to construct the road by sacrificing trees,” he wrote in the letter.

Das, who was planning to file a PIL, claimed that the trees and the entire area were a habitat of various animals and bird species. Das clarified that an alternate route is available through Ravi Nagar which was at a distance of just 500m from the proposed road and that road could be expanded instead of disturbing the green cover by felling years old trees

He also questioned the decision to waste Rs 112 crore on the new road, which was taxpayers’ hard earned money, that too for a temporary period. Das, also honorary wildlife warden, questioned PDKV’s decision to allow the road when it has a reputation to oppose plans to acquire its land for any developmental project. He prayed to authorities to review their decision.

पावसाळ्यातील व्याघ्र पर्यटन बंदीबाबत पुनर्विचार करणार – मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस

नागपूर : पावसाळ्यात व्याघ्र प्रकल्पात असलेल्या पर्यटन बंदीबाबत पुनर्विचार करण्याची सूचना मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी केली आहे. या संदर्भातील प्रस्ताव राष्ट्रीय व्याघ्र संवर्धन प्राधिकरणाकडे पाठविण्यात यावे असेही मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी सूचित केले आहे. ज्यातील वन्यजीवांच्या प्रश्नांवर चर्चा करण्यासाठी राज्य वन्यजीव मंडळाची १४वी बैठक आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. या बैठकीदरम्यान मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी पर्यटनबंदीच्या मुद्द्याला स्पर्श केला.

यावेळी वित्तमंत्री तथा वनमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार, समिती सदस्य आमदार बंटी भांगडिया, आमदार प्रभुदास भिलावेकर, मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालयाचे अपर मुख्य सचिव प्रवीणसिंह परदेशी, वन सचिव विकास खारगे यांच्यासह राज्य वन्यजीव मंडळाचे सदस्य, विविध विभागांचे वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित होते. मानव-वन्यजीव संघर्ष कमी करण्यासाठी राज्याचे स्वतंत्र धोरण निश्चित केले जावे. या धोरणाचा मसुदा तयार करण्यासाठी समितीची स्थापना केली जावी. व्याघ्र प्रकल्पात पूर्णपणे इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनांचा वापर व्हावा व त्यासाठी प्रोत्साहन देण्यात यावे. प्रत्येक व्याघ्र प्रकल्पात वाघांचा मागोवा ठेवण्यासाठी व पुढील मानव आणि वन्यजीव संघर्षावर नियंत्रण ठेवण्याकरिता प्रशिक्षित हत्तींची गरज आहे. अशा हत्तीची स्वतंत्र पथके तैनात केली जावीत, असेही ते म्हणाले.

चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यात होणाऱ्या राज्य तसेच राष्ट्रीय महामार्गांचे काम करतांना वन्यजीवांचे कॉरिडॉर अडचणीत येऊ नयेत यासाठी लागणारा निधी राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग प्राधिकरणाकडे मागावा. तो कमी पडल्यास राज्य सरकारकडून उर्वरित निधी उपलब्ध करून दिला जाईल, असे वनमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांनी यावेळी सांगितले. उमरेड कऱ्हांडला अभयारण्याचा विस्तार करताना तिथे असलेल्या गावांच्या पुनर्वसनाकडेही लक्ष देण्याच्या सूचनाही त्यांनी दिली. वन्यजीवांचे कॉरिडॉर्स जपण्याची आवश्यकता आणि स्थानिकांच्या सुरक्षिततेचा विचार करण्याची गरज या बैठकीत उपस्थित सदस्यांनी व्यक्त केली. गडचिरोलीसारख्या समृद्ध नैसर्गिक अधिवासात वाघांची संख्या वाढविण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करण्याची अपेक्षाही या बैठकीत मांडण्यात आली.

अवनि हत्या: नियमों की धज्जियां उड़ाकर किया गया बाघिन का शिकार

नागपुर : बाघिन अवनि की हत्या की जांच कर रही दो सदस्यीय राष्ट्रीय बाघ संरक्षण प्राधिकरण (एनटीसीए) समिति की अंतिम रिपोर्ट में कई चौंकाने वाले तथ्य सामने आए हैं।

यह हैदराबाद के रहने वाले शार्पशूटर और अवनि की हत्या के आरोपी असगर अली खान के उस दावे को खारिज करती है, जिसमें उसने कहा था कि उसने सेल्फ डिफेंस में गोली चलाई थी। 2 नवंबर को बोराती में अवनि को गोली मार दी गई थी।

अवनि के शिकार की जांच के लिए दो सदस्यीय इस कमिटी का गठन 8 नवंबर को किया गया था। कमिटी में रिटायर्ड मुख्य वन संरक्षक ओपी कालेर और एनजीओ वाइल्डलाइफ ट्रस्ट इंडिया के सदस्य जोस लूइस भी शामिल थे। कमिटी को उन परिस्थितियों का पता लगाने का काम सौंपा गया था, जिन परिस्थितियों में अवनि को मारा गया था। कमिटी ने बीते 27 नवंबर को अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंप दी थी।

किया इन तीन कानूनों का उल्लंघन
रिपोर्ट में सामने आया है कि किस तरह आरोपी असगर ने एक साथ तीन-तीन कानूनों का उल्लंघन किया था। असगर ने अवनि के शिकार में आर्म्स ऐक्ट 1958 की धारा 3 (1), इंडियन वेटेरिनरी काउंसिल ऐक्ट 1984, द वाइल्डलाइफ प्रोटेक्शन ऐक्ट 1972 के साथ एनटीसीए के स्टैंडर्ड ऑपरेटिंग प्रोसीजर्स का भी उल्लंघन किया गया था।

‘दोषियों के खिलाफ दर्ज होगी एफआईआर’

एनटीसीए की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, फॉरेस्टर मुखबिर शेख को सिर्फ अवनि की पहचान करने का काम दिया गया था, ना कि उस पर डार्ट चलाने का। रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, ‘हैरानी की बात है कि मुखबिर ने डार्ट में रखी 56 घंटे पुरानी दवा को अवनि पर इस्तेमाल किया, जबकि डार्ट में दवा को 24 घंटे से ज्यादा नहीं रखा जा सकता था।’ महाराष्ट्र स्टेट वेटेरिनरी काउंसिल के सदस्य डॉ. अजय पोहरकर ने कहा, ‘हम इन सभी नियमों के उल्लंघन को लेकर एक एफआईआर दर्ज कराएंगे। हम रिपोर्ट की कॉपी का इंतजार कर रहे हैं।

PM Modi, President Kovind pay tributes to BR Ambedkar on 62nd death anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu paid tributes to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on his 62nd death anniversary on Thursday.

Modi, Kovind and Naidu also paid floral tributes to Ambedkar at a function in Parliament House Lawns in Delhi. Tributes were also paid by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and several other MPs to the architect of the Indian Constitution.

The prime minister took to Twitter and said, “India bows to Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas (death anniversary).”

The vice president also took to social media and said, “The nation is ever grateful to the architect of the Constitution. His wisdom will continue to guide us at all times.”

“He championed the cause of marginalised and strove for creating a casteless society. We will be paying a real tribute to Baba Sahebji by establishing a truly egalitarian society and by upholding values and ethics in public life,” Naidu said.

He also shared a link of the audio highlighting the works and contribution of Ambedkar, who died on December 6, 1956 in Delhi.

नागपुर : न जाने कितने युवाओ और बच्चो ने ‘ब्लू व्हेल’ खतरनाक गेम के जाल में फंसकर अपनी जान गवा दी | उसी खतरनाक गेम में शहर की एक छात्रा ने फंसकर आत्महत्या करने का सनसनीखेज खुलासा हुवा है | आत्महत्या करने का कारण लगा था की मनचाहा कालेज नहीं मिलने से परेशान छात्रा ने आत्महत्या की होगी लेकिन अब इस हादसे ने नया मोड़ लिया है |

खतरनाक ‘ब्लू व्हेल’ के जाल में फंसकर मंगलवार को शहर की एक छात्रा ने आत्महत्या कर ली। इस घटना के बाद ‘ब्लू व्हेल’ से जुड़ा डर अभिभावकों को फिर सताने लगा है। बताया जा रहा है आत्महत्या करने वाली छात्रा की कलाई पर “कट हियर टू एक्जिट” लिखा था।

नरेंद्र नगर स्थित साईकृपा नगर स्थित अशोक जोनवाल की बेटी मानसी ने फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली थी । मानसी के पिता ने बताया कि उनकी बेटी ब्लू व्हेल, मॉम जैसे खतरनाक खेल में कैसे फंस गई, उन्हें पता ही नहीं चला। आशंका है कि पिछले तीन महीने से वो इस गेम की शिकार होना शुरु हो गई थी। अशोक बताते हैं कि एक बार मानसी ने अपने मोबाइल पर गेम की डीपी भी रखी थी, जो उनकी भतीजी ने देख ली। किन्तु इसके बाद मानसी ने अपना वॉट्सएप बंद कर दिया था, जिसके बाद शायद वो चोरी-छुपे गेम खेलती रही होगी।

प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार अशोक की लेक्चरर पत्नी नलीनी की तबियत ठीक नहीं रहती थी। इस कारण मानसी ने घर की पूरी जिम्मेदारी संभाल ली थी। वो स्वभाव से मिलनसार थी, लेकिन कभी वह अपने मोबाइल फोन को हाथ लगाने नहीं देती थी। एक-दो बार पिता अशोक ने मोबाइल लेने की कोशिश की, लेकिन मानसी ने उन्हें रोक दिया था । आत्महत्या के बाद मानसी के परिजनों ने उसकी कलाई देखी तो उसकी कलाई पर लिखा था “कट हियर टू एक्जिट”। इसके साथ ही कलाई पर पुराने ब्लेड़ के निशान भी दिखे थे।

अंदेशा है कि इससे पहले भी मानसी ने आत्महत्या की कोशिश की होगी। मानसी के पिता अशोक जोनवाल का कहना है कि वे सभी अभिभावकों से अपील करते हैं कि वे अपने बच्चों पर पूरा ध्यान दें। ‘मैंने ऑन लाइन गेम के चक्कर में अपनी बेटी को खो दिया, लेकिन आप बच्चों पर नजर रखें, कहीं वो कुछ ऐसा तो नहीं कर रहे जिससे आपकी जिन्दगी बच्चों को खोने के दर्द से भर जाए।
