नागपूर: धावत्या रेल्वेत बॉडी वॉर्न कॅमेऱ्यांचा वापर होणार असून प्रवासी आणि आरपीएफ जवानांच्या गैरवर्तणुकीची माहिती आता या कॅमेऱ्यात कैद होेणार आहे. दक्षिण पूर्व मध्य रेल्वे नागपूर मंडळाच्या रेल्वे सुरक्षा बल (आरपीएफ) ट्रेन स्कॉटिंगमध्ये बॉडी वॉर्न कॅमेऱ्यांचा उपयोग करीत आहेत. या कॅमेऱ्यांमुळे सुरक्षा जवान आणि प्रवाशांमध्ये होणाऱ्या संवादासह त्यांच्यातर्फे होणाऱ्या गैरवर्तणुकीची माहिती प्राप्त होणार आहे. अशा प्रकारचा प्रयोग नागपूर मंडळात पहिल्यांदा होत आहे.
रेल्वे स्टेशनवर असलेल्या सीसीटीव्ही कॅमेऱ्यांमध्ये सर्व घटना कैद होत असून धावत्या रेल्वेत कॅमेराची सुविधा उपलब्ध नसल्यामुळे दोन्ही पक्षांतर्फे होणाऱ्या गैरवर्तणुकीच्या माहिती मिळत नाही. परंतु आता जवानांच्या कॉलरवर लावण्यात आलेल्या कॅमेऱ्यात सर्व घटना कैद होणार आहे. २६ जानेवारीला आरपीएफला १० कॅमेरे मिळाले असून रेल्वेत तैनात जवानांना हे कॅमेरे वितरित करण्यात आले आहे. रेल्वेत बॉडी वॉर्न कॅमेऱ्याचा प्रयोग पश्चिम रेल्वे व राजकोट मंडळात झाला आहे. नागपुरात दपूम रेल्वे मंडळ आरपीएफने पहिल्यांदा प्रायोगिक तत्त्वावर हा प्रयोग सुरू केला आहे. कॅमेरा जवळपास ५ सेंटीमीटर लांब असून बॅटरीवर चालणारा आहे. एकदा चार्ज केल्यानंतर कॅमेरा १० तासांपर्यंत सुरू राहू शकतो. त्यातील रेकॉर्डिंग ३० दिवसांपर्यंत सुरक्षित ठेवता येते. आरोपानंतर कॅमेऱ्यातील रेकॉर्डिंग पाहून आणि ऐकून संबंधित प्रवासी आणि जवानांवर कारवाई करतांना सोपे जाईल.
नागपूर : अश्लील चित्रफीत प्रसिद्ध करण्याची धमकी देऊन एका महिलेला आठ लाखांनी लुबाडल्याचा प्रकार समोर आला आहे. याप्रकरणी गिट्टीखदान पोलीस ठाण्यात गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे.
कुमार आर. गवडी रा. मांचेरीयल, आदिलाबाद (तेलंगणा) असे आरोपीचे नाव आहे. पीडित ३६ वर्षीय फिर्यादी ही गिट्टीखदान पोलीस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीत राहते. जुलै २०१७ मध्ये फेसबुकवरून तिची आरोपीशी ओळख झाली. त्यानंतर त्यांनी एकमेकांना स्वत:चे मोबाईल क्रमांक दिले. व्हॉट्स अॅपवरून संवाद सुरू झाला. कालांतराने त्यांच्यात प्रेम निर्माण झाले. त्यानंतर काही दिवसांनी ती उपचाराकरिता हैदराबादला गेली असता तिची आरोपीशी भेट झाली. त्यावेळी आरोपीने तिला लग्नाचे आमिष दाखवले व शारीरिक संबंध प्रस्थापित केले. त्यावेळी आरोपीने तिचे अश्लील चलचित्र तयार केले. ती नागपुरात परतताच तिचे अश्लील चलचित्र फेसबुकवर टाकण्याची धमकी दिली व तिला प्रथम १४ हजार रुपये बँक खात्यात जमा करण्यास सांगितले. बदनामीच्या भीतीने तिने त्याला पैसे दिले. कालांतराने त्याची हिंमत वाढली त्यानंतर वारंवार तिच्याकडून पैसे उकळू लागला. एक दिवस तो नागपुरात आला व तिच्या घरी थांबला.
परतताना तिच्या घरातील दागिने घेऊन गेला. अश्लील चित्रफीत फेसबुकवर टाकण्याची धमकी देऊन आरोपीने तिच्याकडून आतापर्यंत ८ लाख रुपये उकळले. त्याचा त्रास असह्य़ झाल्याने तिने पोलीस ठाण्यात तक्रार दिली. पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे.
Nagpur : With a view to fight the growing menace of duplicate products being sold to hapless consumer online and through retail , and to protect the brand value of HP the leading technology brand in the country conducted raids across India with the assistance of police. These raids were conducted in cities like Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar , Bharuch, Delhi , Gurugram, Mumbai, Pune , Thane , Patna Kanpur , Chennai , Bangalore, Siliguri, Ambala , Panipat .
One such raid was conducted at a retail shop on Dhantoli locality of Nagpur with assistance of Maharashtra police. Led by policemen from Nagpur city’s Dhantoli police station a retail shop Mauli Enterprises situated at Abhyankar road was raided and duplicate hp and samsung products were seized.
Three people named Sagar Taulekar, Akash Taulekar and Shubham Phating were arrested in connection with possession and sales of duplicate hp and samsung products following an FIR which was registered against them.
The raid team comprised of law enforcement agents who identified the duplicate goods and led by officials from the Dhantoli police station.
There were a lot of complaints pertaining to questionable quality and spurious products from customers across the country who were dupe to buy this duplicate products from either retail shop or web market place. The company investigated such complaints and the same lead to many raids across the country including these in Nagpur.
नागपूर : राज्याची राजधानी आणि उपराजधानीला जोडणाऱ्या समृद्धी महामार्गाच्या कामाला आता सुरुवात झाली असून ९० टक्के भूसंपादनाची प्रक्रिया पार पडली. येत्या ३० महिन्यांत काम पूर्ण करण्याची मुदत कंत्राटदारांना देण्यात आली आहे.
नागपूर जिल्ह्यातून जाणार २८ किलोमीटरचा रस्ता
नागपूर विभागातील नागपूर आणि वर्धा जिल्ह्यातील ५५ गावांमधून हा महामार्ग जात आहे. ८९.४३ किलोमीटरच्या मार्गासाठी १ हजार ४३ हेक्टर जमिनीची आवश्यकता आहे. महाराष्ट्र समृद्धी महामार्ग नागपूर जिल्ह्यातील हिंगणा तालुक्यातून जाणार असून, या महत्त्वाकांक्षी प्रकल्पांतर्गत २१ गावांतील २८.४२ किलोमीटर लांबी राहणार आहे. सार्वजनिक बांधकाम (सार्वजनिक उपक्रम) मंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या उपस्थितीत १३ जुलै २०१७ रोजी हिंगणा तहसीलमधून भूसंपादनाची प्रक्रिया सुरू झाली. नागपूर जिल्ह्यात खासगी व सरकारी जमीन मिळून ३१६.३६ हेक्टर आर जमिनीची आवश्यकता असून यापैकी ३०१.९४ हेक्टर आर जमीन (९५.४४ टक्के) ताब्यात घेण्यात आली आहे.
जिल्ह्यातील २० गावातून जाणार महामार्ग
समृद्धी महामार्ग नागपूर जिल्ह्याच्या २० गावामधून जाणार आहे. त्यासाठी ९० टक्के भूसंपादनाचे काम पूर्ण झाले आहे. यात शेतकऱ्यांना ५ पट पैसे देऊन त्यांच्या मर्जीनुसार जमिनीचे संपादन करण्यात आले आहे. शेतकऱ्यांनी जमिनी विकल्यानंतरही त्यांच्या जमिनीवरील पिके वाया जाऊ नयेत यासाठी पीक निघेपर्यंत शासनाने त्यांनी मुभा दिली, अशी माहिती हिंगणाचे तहसीलदार प्रताप वाघमारे यांनी दिली.
मिहानच्या मागील बाजूने महामार्गाचा शुभारंभ
हिंगणा तालुक्यातील शिवमडला हे समृद्धी महामार्गाचा झिरो पॉईंट राहणार असून येथून समृद्धी महामार्गाला सुरुवात होणार आहे. हा भाग मिहानच्या मागील असून येथून मिहान, हिंगणा तालुका, अमरावती येथील वाहने या मार्गावर प्रवेश करू शकतील.
Nagpur : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister for Road Transport and Shipping Nitin Gadkari will jointly launch India’s first Safe and Smart City Project in a function to be held on February 2 at 4 pm at Y-Point, Bhartwada, Pardi in East Nagpur.
Both the leaders will also name City Operation Centre after former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee. They will also perform bhoomipujan for Project Tendersure, Project Home Sweet Home and Amrut Abhiyan in same function.
Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Mayor Nanda Jichkar will be the guests in the function. The event is jointly organised by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), Information and Technology Corporation Limited and Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation Limited (NSSCDCL).
Recently, State Government has sanctioned Town Planning Scheme (TPS) to develop four major backward areas- Pardi-Punapur-Bharatwada-Bhandewadi of East Nagpur. The ‘smart’ city will have its special Development Control Rules (DCR) for the development.
The civic body has decided to implement the scheme by land pooling method. The ABD approach is expected to improve the lives of 1,13,000 persons of 25,000 families in East Nagpur areas. They will get good roads, water supply, covered sewerage lines, street lights, schools, hospitals, gardens, and recreational facilities.

मनपा शाळेकडे पाहण्याचा पालकांचा दृष्टीकोन आजही फारसा बदलेला नाही. आर्थिकदृष्ट्या कमकुवत पालकच मनपा शाळेमध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांना शिकवितात. आज मनपाच्या शाळांची स्थिती उत्तम स्थितीत आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांचा सर्वांगिण विकास व्हावा, हेच आमचे ध्येय आहे. आज शिक्षणासह विविध क्षेत्रामध्येही मनपा शाळेतील विद्यार्थी, विद्यार्थिनी आपला ठसा उमटवित आहेत. ‘सच विजया शिष्यवृत्ती’मुळे विद्यार्थिनींना प्रोत्साहन मिळणार असून पालकही मनपा शाळेमध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांच्या प्रवेशासाठी पुढे येतील, असेही महापौर नंदा जिचकार म्हणाल्या.
यावेळी अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम जोशी म्हणाले, मनपा शाळेतील प्रत्येक विद्यार्थ्याचा सर्वांगिण विकास करणे व आपल्या प्रत्येक विद्यार्थिनीला आत्मविश्वासाने सक्षम बनविणे हे आमचे कर्तव्य असून त्या दृष्टीने कार्य केले जात आहे. अभ्यासासोबतच प्रत्येक क्षेत्रात विद्यार्थ्यांनी आपली छाप सोडली आहे. विद्यार्थिनींच्या सक्षमीकरणासाठी उचलेलेल्या ‘सच विजया शिष्यवृत्ती’ हे स्तुत्य पाउल असून यामुळे मनपा शाळांचा दर्जा उंचावेल, असेही अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम जोशी म्हणाले.

नागपूर : स्वच्छ नागपूरच्या दिशेने नागपूर शहराने वाटचाल केली आहे. रस्त्यावर आता कुठेही कचरा टाकता येणार नाही, यासाठी नागपूर महानगरपालिकेने आधुनिक हायड्रोलिक कचरा टबाची निर्मिती केली आहे. हा कचरा टब गांधीबाग उद्यानाजवळील कचरा घराजवळ सुरू करण्यात आला.
हायड्रोलिक कचरा टबाचे उद्घाटन शुक्रवारी (ता.३१) उपमहापौर दीपराज पार्डीकर, आयुक्त अभिजित बांगर आणि ज्येष्ठ नगरसेवक दयाशंकर तिवारी यांच्या हस्ते करण्यात आले. यावेळी वैद्यकीय सेवा व आरोग्य समिती सभापती मनोज चापले, गांधीबाग झोन सभापती वंदना यंगटवार, नगरसेविका विद्या कन्हेरे, अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम जोशी, झोन सहायक आयुक्त अशोक पाटील, झोनल अधिकारी सुरेश खरे, उपअभियंता रवींद्र बुंदाडे, सुरेंद्र दुधे प्रामुख्याने उपस्थित होते.
शहरात सर्वत्र रस्त्यावर कचरा जमा केला जात आहे. यामुळे त्या भागात अस्वच्छतेचे वातावरण निर्माण होत असते. शहराचे विद्रुपीकरणही होत असते. यामुळे या कचरा टबाची निर्मिती करण्यात आली आहे. ज्येष्ठ नगरसेवक दयाशंकर तिवारी यांच्या पुढाकाराने या प्रभागात शहरातील पहिला अत्याधुनिक हायड्रोलिक कचरा टब तयार करण्यात आला आहे. दयाशंकर तिवारी यांनी स्थायी समितीच्या निधीतून या कचरा टबची निर्मिती केली आहे. हा परिसर व्यापारिक असल्यामुळे सफाई कर्मचारी कचरा संकलन करून एका ठिकाणी एकत्र करीत होते. त्या ठिकाणी रस्त्यावर कचरा दिसत होता. आता हायड्रोलिक टबच्या उदघाटन झाल्यामुळे या टबमध्ये जवळपास ५० क्युबिक मीटर कचरा अर्थात् १० गाड़ी कचरा एका वेळी संकलित करता येईल. म्हणून आता त्या ठिकाणी रस्त्यावर कचरा राहणार नाही. कचरा मोठ्या टबमध्ये हायड्रोलिक लिफ्टच्या साहाय्याने त्या टबमध्ये टाकला जाणार आहे.
यावेळी बोलताना आयुक्तांनी या अभिनव संकल्पनेची प्रशंसा केली आहे. याचे देखभाल व दुरूस्ती नियमित करण्यात यावी. दररोज कचरा हा उचलला गेला पाहिजे, अशी सूचनाही झोनल अधिकाऱ्यांना केली. महिन्यातून किमान एकदा या टबला रंगरंगोटीही करावी, असेही आयुक्त अभिजीत बांगर यांनी सांगितले. स्वच्छ नागपूर संकल्पना प्रत्यक्षात अंमलात आणण्यासाठी ही संकल्पना उपयोगाची आहे. शहरात अन्य ठिकाणीही अशा प्रकारच्या कचरा टबचे निर्माण करण्यासाठी महापालिका प्रयत्नरत आहे, असेही ते यावेळी बोलताना म्हणाले.
यावेळी अशोक नायक, अविनाश शाहू, राजेश कन्हेरे, बृजभूषण शुक्ला, राजेश गौर, अशोक शुक्ला, कमलेश नायक, मनोज प्रजापती, अमोल कोल्हे, गुड्डू जयस्वाल, सतीश बगले, विनय भाके, जयंत मोटघरे , विशाल गौर, सविता उमाठे, मालती बढिये, विजय सारडा उपस्थित होते.
Nagpur : MahaMetro is trying its level best to start operation of Nagpur Metro on a stretch of 19 kms by February 28. It is planning to start routes from Khapri to Sitabuldi Munje Square and between Lokmanya Nagar and Subhash Nagar. Eight metro stations will be functional on both the routes.
Dr Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director of Maha Metro, launched a design of Nari Shakti Coach and e-cycle, e-scooters at South Airport Station on Thursday. Dr Dixit said, “We will start operation at Khapri Station, New Airport Station, South Airport Station, Airport Station, Jaiprakash Nagar Station and Sitabuldi Station on reach-I at Wardha road.”
The distance between Khapri to Sitabuldi is 13 kms. The other route between Lokmanya Nagar Hingna and Subhash Nagar will also be operational in February, he said. Total distance between these two stations is six kms. Dixit said, all the formalities like certification from Research Design Standard Organisation (RDSO) and Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) will be completed in February.
Highly placed sources informed that Union Minister for Road Transport and Shipping Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis are willing to inaugurate Nagpur Metro rail at the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March.
E-cycles, e-scooters for public
Maha Metro will provide e-cycles, e-scooters to reach Metro Station from home or work station. Dr Brijesh Dixit launched India’s first smart urban mobility solution for public. He also took a ride on e-cycle during inauguration. These pedal cycles will be available on a pay per ride model, at Rs one for 10 minutes. It is connected with GPS.
Special coach for women
The first coach of Nagpur Metro will be dedicated to women. It will be called as Naari Shakti Coach. One of three coaches of Metro Rail will be reserved for women passengers only to provide them safe journey. Dr Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director launched design of Naari Shakti Coach. “Maha Metro has provided panic button in every coach for the passengers. We are trying hard to provide all safety features,” he said.
नागपूर : उपराजधानीतील शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रुग्णालय (मेडिकल)च्या एमबीबीएस द्वितीय वर्षांची विद्यार्थिनी आणि राज्याचे गृहराज्यमंत्री रणजीत पाटील यांच्या पुतणीने बुधवारी रात्री मेडिकलच्या वसतिगृहात पॅरासिटामॉलच्या २२ गोळ्या खावून आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न केला. विद्यार्थिनीची प्रकृती अत्यवस्थ असून तज्ज्ञ डॉक्टर तिच्यावर अतिदक्षता विभागात उपचार करत आहेत.
ही १९ वर्षीय विद्यार्थिनी अकोला येथील रहिवासी आहे. मेडिकलच्या द्वितीय वर्षांत शिकत असून वसतिगृह क्रमांक दोनमध्ये राहते. एमबीबीएसच्या अभ्यासक्रमाचा ताण वाढल्यामुळे ती गेल्या वर्षभऱ्यापासून नैराश्यात होती. तिच्यावर उपचार सुरू असले तरी तिने मध्यंतरी परस्पर उपचार बंद केले होते. वसतिगृहातील विद्यार्थिनींच्या म्हणण्यानुसार, गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून ती पुन्हा तणावात दिसत होती. यातच तिने बुधवारी रात्री २२ गोळ्या खाल्ल्या. त्यानंतर अवघ्या काही मिनिटांतच ती अस्वस्थ झाली.
ही माहिती तातडीने वसतिगृहाच्या वार्डनसह मेडिकलच्या वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांना देण्यात आली. तिला मेडिकलच्या अतिदक्षता विभागात दाखल करण्यात आले. काही वेळात मेडिकलच्या अधिष्ठात्यांसह इतर विभागाच्या प्रमुखांनी अतिदक्षता विभागात धाव घेतली. तिच्या पोटातील पाणी काढण्यासह इतरही उपचार करण्यात आले.
दोन वर्षांत पाच विद्यार्थ्यांचा आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न
मेडिकलध्ये गेल्या दोन वर्षांमध्ये पाच विद्यार्थ्यांनी आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न केला आहे. त्यातील दोन जण दगावले. मार्च २०१७ मध्ये एका प्रशिक्षणार्थी विद्यार्थ्यांने झोपेच्या गोळ्या घेत आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न केला होता. त्यानंतर मे २०१७ मध्ये अशवंत खोब्रागडे याने मेडिकलमधील लायब्ररीच्या पाठीमागील बाजूस कीटकनाशक प्राशन करून आत्महत्या केली. तत्पूर्वी ऑगस्ट २०१६ मध्ये रोशन शिरसाट या विद्यार्थ्यांने वसतिगृह क्रमांक पाचमध्ये गळफास लावून आत्महत्या केली. कौटुंबिक कलहातून एका महिला निवासी डॉक्टरनेही गळा कापून आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न केला होता.
Nagpur : Rakkhosh, India’s first POV film (a film where the camera is rigged to see everyone and everyone is seen talking to the camera) will be screened in the city during Orange City International Film Festival (OCIFF) 2019 on February 10, in Nagpur.
The film- setup entirely at a mental asylum, won the Best Director Award at the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) 2019 on Wednesday.
Team Rakkhosh, consisting of producer Sayali Deshpande, creative producer Prashen Kyawal, writer and director Vinay Salian, actress Sonamoni Jayant were part of the award winning team. Deshpande accepted the award on behalf of the directors.
“When I heard the script, I knew I wanted the world to hear this story. So I decided to bankroll it,” says Sayali.
Vinay Salian, who was then supposed to be just the writer for the film, got a narration of this story called Patient No 302, by Narayan ‘Tummbbad’ Dharap, and was asked to write it. “I didn’t want to read the story and I said that I would write it first and if they didn’t like it, I would then read the book and then modify my script. Thankfully, they liked the story,” says Salian who has co directed the film along with Abhijit Kokate.
Rakkhosh, produced by Santosh and Sayali Deshpande along with Sanjay Mishra, Priyanka Bose, Tannishtha Chatterjee among others with Prashen Kyawal as the creative producer and Dinesh Poojari as the editor.
It also got full house response at Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) 2019.
Artists from South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) Nagpur participated in the Kumbh at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh and delivered two performances leaving the audience spellbound.
The local artists rendered two presentations Swarkumbh and Yugandhar Krishna at the specially allotted campus of around 3000 square feet named SCZCC Angan. Kanchan Gadkari inaugurated the event by lighting the traditional lamp. SCZCC Director Dr Dipak Khirwadkar, Director; North Central Cultural Centre; Prayagraj; Indrajeet Grover and Programme Officers Prem Tiwari and Deepak Kulkarni were prominently present on the occasion.
The female artists of Swaralii presented musical rendition. A ballet directed by Deepali Bhonge also mesmerised the audience. The other presentations at the programme included Pandwani singing (Chhattisgarh), Bonalu dance (Telangana), dhol kunitha dance (Karnataka) and Gangaur dance (Madya Pradesh).

Nagpur : Nagpur District Hard-court Tennis Association (NDHTA) is organising MSLTA-Yonex Sunrise All-India Ranking Super Series Tennis Tournament for Under-16 boys and girls from February 4 to 8 at Ram Nagar court.
Addressing media persons NDHTA Treasurer Vijay Naidu and Secretary Sudhir Bhiwapurkar said the tournament will begin with qualifying round followed by the main draw. Signing for the qualifying round will held on February 1 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and for the main draw on February 3 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Qualifying round will be played on February 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The players from Maharashtra, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Chandigarh and from Nagpur are participating in the tournament. Eight players from both boys and girls categories will qualify for the main draw of 32 players.
Chirag Duhan from Haryana has been given top billing in the boy section. Heerak Vora (Gujarat) and Arjun Gohad (Maharashtra) are second and third ranked players. Similarly in the girls section Nagpur’s Sai Bhoyar has been given top billing followed by Radhika Mahajan (Maharashtra) and Ishita Jadhav (Maharashtra).
Avanee Gosavi will be the tournament supervisor. Dr Sudhir Bhiwapurkar is the tournament director whereas Vijay Naidu is the tournament secretary. The entry fee for the tournament is Rs 700 for singles and Rs 900 for doubles.
Daily allowance of Rs. 600 will be paid to the players as per AITA norms. The winners and runners-up will get the trophies. Vikram Naidu was prominently present at the press conference.
Nagpur : The National Federation of Insurance Field Workers of India (NFIFWI)-Nagpur Division will be organising ‘Insurance Ka Maha Kumbh’, a national convention for LIC advisors at Suresh Bhatt Auditorium on February 2 and 3.
Union minister for surface transport, highways and shipping Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate this two-day convention, which will be organised for the second time in the history of life insurance industry. The convention will get underway on February 2 at 10 am.
Chief convener of the ‘Mahakumbh’ Deepak Moghe said that NFIFWI will be holding a training programme for the second time. Union minister Gadkari will inaugurate the event in the presence of former MP Datta Meghe, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Nagpur Guardian Minister and Maharashtra Energy Minister, Sudhir Parve, MLA and LIC advisor, Mukeshchandra Joshi, senior divisional manager LIC. NFIFWI and Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) have completed 62 years. Gadkari will be felicitated for his efforts in solving problems of the LIC advisors, Moghe said.
Anup Gulhane, General Secretary of Nagpur Chapter informed that the two days session will be addressed by luminaries from India and abroad. For financial matters CA Aman Chugh from Mumbai, R K Shetty from Mumbai and Punjab Singh, from Patna will be training the advisors. Suresh Kumar Gaur, senior development officer from Jaipur will give tips of being successful in business to the advisors. Corporate trainer from Indore Amber Arondekar, will also share his views on the topic ‘Human Relations and LIC’. नागपूर : इन्स्टाग्रामवरून ओळख झालेल्या मित्राच्या भेटीसाठी उपराजधानीतील दहाव्या वर्गाच्या विद्यार्थिनीने घरून पळ काढला व राजस्थान गाठले. लोहमार्ग पोलिसांनी सायबर सेलच्या मदतीने मुलीचा शोध घेऊन पालकांच्या स्वाधीन केले.
अत्यंत हुशार असलेली ही विद्यार्थिनी वडिलांचा फोन हाताळायची. इन्स्टाग्रामवरून तिची राजस्थानच्या युवकासोबत ओळख झाली. त्याला भेटायचेच या निर्धाराने तिने २१ जानेवारीला घर सोडले. तिने मैत्रिणीला सोबत घेतले होते. दोघींही अजनी स्थानकावरून विनातिकीटच पुण्याला व तिथून अहमदाबादला गेल्या. त्यानंतर मैत्रीण नागपूरला परतली. इकडे मुलगी बेपत्ता असल्याने वडिलांनी सील्याताबर्डी ठाण्यात तक्रार नोंदविली. घटनेचे गांभीर्य लक्षात घेता पोलिसांनी रियाकडे असले मोबाईलचे लोकेशन घेणे सुरू केले. त्याच मोबाईलमुळे मित्राचा क्रमांक पोलिसांना मिळाला. मित्राशी संपर्क साधताच विद्यार्थिनी भेटण्यासाठी येणार असल्याची माहिती दिली. लोहमार्ग पोलिस सातत्याने त्यांच्या संपर्कात होते. मुलगी येताच माहिती देण्याची ताकीद पोलिसांनी त्याला दिली.
बेपत्ता असलेली विद्यार्थिनी एकटीच कोट्याला आणि तिथून भिलवाडा येथे पोहोचली. मित्राने लगेच लोहमार्ग पोलिसांना सूचना दिली. सहायक पोलिस निरीक्षक मुबारक शेख यांनी याबाबत स्थानिक लोहमार्ग पोलिसांशी संपर्क साधून मुलीबाबत माहिती दिली. त्याआधारे पोलिसांनी मुलीला ताब्यात घेतले. थोड्याच वेळात तिचे वडीलही तिथे पोहोचले. कागदोपत्री कारवाईनंतर मुलीला वडिलांच्या ताब्यात दिले.
Nagpur : The Central Goods and Service Tax (GST) Department, Nagpur Zone has collected Rs 8,440.45 crore as GST from April 2018 to December 2018. The Customs Duty registered a revenue collection of Rs 1,561.87 crore during the same period, informed AK Pande, principal chief commissioner GST, Central Excise and Customs, Nagpur Zone.
The net Customs revenue was Rs 235.11 crore in December last year while the Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) refund from April to December last year was at Rs 212.48 crore. In December 2018 the IGST Refund was at Rs 26.84 crore.
Nagpur Zone includes Nagpur Customs Chapter Cell, Nasik Customs Chapter Cell and Aurangabad Customs Chapter Cell. The major sectors that contributed towards revenue collection are coal, cement and automobile.
Nagpur Zone covers total 24 districts in Maharashtra including 11 districts of Nagpur Division, eight districts of Aurangabad Division and five districts of Nasik Division.
For composite assesses with a turnover of more than Rs 1.50 crore, the tax sharing formula between the State and Central governments is equal in the ratio of 50:50, while for assesses with a turnover of less than Rs 1.50 crore, the tax sharing formula ratio is 90:10, with the State Government getting a major share.
नागपूर : महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांच्या संकल्पनेतून राबविण्यात येत असलेल्या ‘मेयर इनोव्हेशन अवॉर्डस्’ अंतर्गत आयोजित ‘हॅकॉथॉन’साठी ऑनलाईन प्रवेशाच्या अंतिम मुदतीपर्यंत ५०० चमूंनी प्रवेश नोंदविला आहे. सुमारे १५०० लोकांचा सहभाग हॅकॉथॉनमध्ये असणार आहे.
१ फेब्रुवारी रोजी रेशीमबाग येथील कविवर्य सुरेश भट सभागृहात सकाळी १० वाजतापासून ‘हॅकॉथॉन’चे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. उद्घाटन केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या हस्ते होईल. राज्याचे ऊर्जामंत्री तथा नागपूर जिल्ह्याचे पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे प्रमुख अतिथी म्हणून उपस्थित राहतील. महापौर नंदा जिचकार अध्यक्षस्थानी राहतील. राष्ट्रसंत तुकडोजी महाराज नागपूर विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरु डॉ. सिद्धार्थविनायक काणे, पोलिस आयुक्त डॉ. भूषणकुमार उपाध्याय, नवी दिल्ली येथील एआयसीटीईचे सल्लागार दिलीप मालखेडे यांची यावेळी प्रमुख उपस्थिती राहील.
हॅकॉथॉनची तयारी पूर्ण
शहरातील विविध समस्यांवर उपाय शोधण्यासाठी वेगवेगळ्या विषयांवर नवीन काहीतरी सुचविण्यासाठी आयोजित हॅकॉथॉनची तयारी पूर्ण झाली आहे. ऑनलाईन नोंदणीची अंतिम तारीख ३० जानेवारी होती. अंतिम दिवसापर्यंत ५०० चमूंनी नोंदणी केली आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांसोबतच नागरिकांनीही यात नोंदणी केली आहे. कविवर्य सुरेश भट सभागृहात चार झोन तयार करण्यात आले. सर्व सहभागी स्पर्धकांना ए, बी, सी, डी अशा चार गटात विभागण्यात येणार आहे. स्पर्धकांनी स्पर्धास्थळी आपली उपस्थिती दर्शविल्यानंतर त्यांना गट देण्यात येईल. संबंधित गटाच्या झोनमध्ये त्यांना आपल्या प्रकल्प अहवालाचे सादरीकरण करावयाचे आहे.
मार्गदर्शन आणि मनोरंजनपर कार्यक्रम
हॅकॉथॉनच्या निमित्ताने कविवर्य सुरेश भट सभागृहात येणाऱ्या सहभागी विद्यार्थी, लोकांसाठी ‘इनोव्हेटिव्ह आयडिया’ या विषयांवर तज्ज्ञांचे मार्गदर्शन आयोजित करण्यात आले आहे. यासोबतच मनोरंजनासाठी रॉक बॅण्डचेही आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. ज्या स्पर्धकांच्या मॉड्यूलचे प्रात्यक्षिक आहे, त्यांच्यासाठी स्वतंत्र दालन उपलब्ध करून देण्यात येणार आहे. या दालनात सर्व प्रात्यक्षिकांची प्रदर्शनी राहील. सकाळी ९ ते ११ या वेळेत शाळकरी विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी ‘आदर्श नागपूर’ या विषयावर चित्रकला स्पर्धेचे आयोजनही करण्यात आले आहे.
महाविद्यालयांचा उत्स्फूर्त सहभाग
मेयर इनोव्हेशन अवॉर्ड अंतर्गत आयोजित हॅकॉथॉनला महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थ्यांचा प्रतिसाद मिळावा, उपक्रम आयोजनामागील हेतू विद्यार्थ्यांना माहिती व्हावा यासाठी शहरातील विविध महाविद्यालयात विद्यार्थ्याना मार्गदर्शन करण्यात आले. सेल्फी कॉर्नर ठेवून त्यामाध्यमातूनही विद्यार्थ्यांना माहिती देण्यात आली. महाल येथील राजे रघुजी भोसले नगर भवन येथे मनपा विभागप्रमुख आणि विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी इंडक्शन कार्यक्रमही घेण्यात आला. यावेळी मनपा विभागप्रमुखांना त्यांना दैनंदिन कार्यात येणाऱ्या अडचणी आणि त्यावरील उपाय याबाबत सादरीकरण करण्यात आले. विद्यार्थ्यांनी उपस्थित केलेल्या शंकांचे निरसनही यावेळी करण्यात आले. हॅकॉथॉनपूर्व राबविण्यात आलेल्या या उपक्रमांमुळे ऑनलाईन प्रवेशाला सर्वच महाविद्यालयांनी उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद मिळाला.
नागपूर : नागपूर शहरातील सर्व निर्माणाधीन प्रकल्पांच्या कार्याचा वेग वाढवून तातडीने पूर्ण करण्यात यावे आणि प्रस्तावित प्रकल्पांची प्रशासकीय पूर्तता करून त्या कामांच्या निविदा काढण्याचे निर्देश केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांनी दिले.
शासनाच्या विविध विभागांतर्गत नागपूर शहरात सुरू असलेल्या प्रस्तावित आणि निर्माणाधीन प्रकल्पांची सद्यस्थिती जाणून घेण्यासाठी केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या निवासस्थानी बुधवारी (ता. ३०) आयोजित बैठकीत सदर निर्देश त्यांनी दिले. बैठकीला महापौर नंदा जिचकार, मनपाच्या स्थायी समितीचे सभापती वीरेंद्र कुकरेजा, बी.ओ.टी., पीपीपी प्रकल्पांच्या पाठपुराव्यासाठी नेमण्यात आलेल्या प्रकल्प विशेष समितीचे अध्यक्ष तथा ज्येष्ठ नगरसेवक प्रवीण दटके, महामेट्रोचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक ब्रिजेश दीक्षित, मनपा आयुक्त अभिजीत बांगर, जिल्हाधिकारी अश्विन मुदगल, नासुप्र सभापती शीतल उगले, सार्वजनिक बांधकाम विभागाचे मुख्य अभियंता उल्हास देबडवार उपस्थित होते.
पंतप्रधान आवास योजनेअंतर्गत सुमारे पाच हजार गाळ्यांचे बांधकाम पूर्ण झाले असून ते वाटपासाठी तयार आहेत, अशी माहिती नासुप्रच्या सभापती शीतल उगले यांनी दिली. योजनेअंतर्गत आलेल्या अर्जांची सोडत काढण्यात यावी. अपूर्ण अर्जांमधील त्रुट्या दूर करून, आवश्यक बाबींची पूर्तता करुन त्या अर्जांचाही सोडतीत समावेश करण्यात यावा, असेही निर्देश ना. नितीन गडकरी यांनी दिले.
अंबाझरी येथील खुल्या रंगमंचासाठी (ॲम्पी थिएटर) आवश्यक २३ एकर जागेपैकी साडे सात एकर जागेचा ताबा नासुप्रला मिळाला असल्याची माहिती नासुप्र सभापती शीतल उगले यांनी दिली. उर्वरीत जागेसंदर्भात जिल्हाधिकारी आणि नासुप्र सभापतींनी तातडीने विद्यापीठ कुलगुरुंशी बैठक घ्यावी व ती जागा ताब्यात घ्यावी. त्या जागेवर सुरक्षा भिंत करून शक्य तितक्या लवकर पुढील प्रक्रिया सुरू करण्याचे निर्देश दिले.
केळीबाग रोड, जुना भंडारा रोड, गड्डीगोदाम, पारडी, सोमलवाडा, रामजी पहेलवान मार्गासाठी जागा उपलब्ध करून देण्याकरिता सार्वजनिक बांधकाम विभागाला संमतीपत्र देण्याबाबतही बैठकीत चर्चा करण्यात आली. गड्डीगोदाम आणि पारडी रस्त्यांबाबतची कार्यवाही १ फेब्रुवारी रोजी, जुना भंडारा रोड, केळीबाग रोड, रामजी पहेलवान रस्त्याबाबतची कार्यवाही ६ फेब्रुवारी रोजी तर गड्डीगोदाम, सोमलवाडा रस्त्यांच्याबाबतची कार्यवाही १६ फेब्रुवारी रोजी सुरु करण्याचे निर्देश बैठकीत देण्यात आले.
केळीबाग मार्गावरील बुधवार बाजाराच्या संपूर्ण प्रक्रिया पूर्ण झाल्या आहेत. त्या कामाच्या निविदा काढून प्रत्यक्ष कार्याला सुरुवात लवकरात लवकर करण्याचे निर्देश त्यांनी दिले. सक्करदरा येथील बुधवार बाजाराचे अंतिम डिझाईन सात दिवसांत तयार करून त्याच्याही निविदा काढण्याचे निर्देश त्यांनी दिले.
यशवंत स्टेडियम येथील प्रस्तावित डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर मेमोरियलसंदर्भात सूचनांसह नवीन प्रस्ताव तयार करण्यात यावा. स्थायी समिती सभापती, जिल्हाधिकारी आणि मनपा आयुक्तांनी त्याला अंतिम स्वरूप देऊन पुढील काही दिवसांत तो राज्य शासनाकडे मंजुरीसाठी पाठविण्याचे निर्देशही ना. गडकरी यांनी दिले. नागपूर मेट्रो रेल्वेतर्फे पाटणी चौकापर्यंत बांधण्यात येणाऱ्या डबल डेकर पुलाच्या लॅण्डींगमधील तांत्रिक आणि वाहतुकीच्या दृष्टीने व्यवहार्यता तपासण्यात यावी व त्यानंतरच त्याबाबत योग्य निर्णय घेण्यात यावा, असे निर्देश ना. नितीन गडकरी यांनी दिले. अजनी पूल ते वर्धा रोडला जोडणाऱ्या कारागृह परिसरातून जाणाऱ्या रस्त्याचे लोकार्पण शक्यतो २२ फेब्रुवारी दरम्यान करण्याचे निर्देशही ना. गडकरी यांनी दिले.
विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी ‘विज्ञान केंद्र’
नागपूर महानगरपालिकेचे विद्यार्थी अपूर्व विज्ञान मेळाव्याच्या माध्यमातून अतिशय सुंदर नावीन्यपूर्ण मॉडेल तयार करतात. त्यांच्या कल्पनांना प्रोत्साहन मिळावे यासाठी मनपाच्या एखाद्या बंद अवस्थेत असलेल्या शाळेच्या जागेवर सुंदर इमारत करून विज्ञान केंद्र विकसित करण्यात यावे. जेथे विद्यार्थी येतील. दिवसभर थांबून आपल्या प्रयोगाचे मॉडेल तयार करतील. यामुळे शहरातील विद्यार्थी वैज्ञानिकांना वाव मिळेल. ज्येष्ठ नगरसेवक प्रवीण दटके यांनी सुचविल्यानुसार राहतेकर वाडी येथील शाळेच्या जागेवर ही इमारत उभारण्यासाठी १० कोटींचा प्रस्ताव तयार करण्याचे निर्देश ना. गडकरी यांनी दिले.
खेळाच्या मैदानांचा विकास
नागपूर सुधार प्रन्यास अंतर्गत खेळाच्या मैदानांचा विकास करण्याकरिता ६० कोटी रुपये मंजूर झाले आहेत. या मैदानांसाठी जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांतर्फे लाल मुरुम घेऊन त्यावर टाकण्यात यावा. नासुप्रने तयार केलेल्या कमी क्षमतेच्या सांडपाणी पुनर्प्रक्रिया प्रकल्पातील पाणी टँकरद्वारे या मैदानांवर टाकण्यात यावे. काही पाणी निर्माणाधीन इमारतींना व्यावसायिक स्वरूपात देण्यात यावे. यासाठी आवश्यक किमान १५ ते २० टँकर नासुप्रने खरेदी करावे, असेही ना. गडकरी यांनी निर्देशित केले.
Nagpur : Union Minister for Road Transport and Shipping Nitin Gadkari recently launched ‘India for Ethanol- a web portal’ to create awareness. Union Minister Gadkari while launching this web portal said, Brazil and European Countries are manufacturing flex engine to mix 10 to 100 percent ethanol to reduce dependency of petrol and diesel. He said, presently, we are mixing 10 percent ethanol in the fuel but we may increase it upto 30 percent to save around Rs seven lakh crore of the tax-payers spent every year on importing crude oil..
The web portal gave information about manufacturing of ethanol by using agriculture feedstock, and common crops such as hemp, sugarcane, potato, cassava, corn and others. This will change the economy of the distress farmers as their agriculture produce can be used for manufacturing of ethanol. Dr Hemant Jambhekar has conducted research work in manufacturing of ethanol. Ajeet Parse, convenor of India for Ethanol portal said, presently, youths are using social media effectively.
They can join hand with Gadkari’s movement to promote use of ethanol in petrol and diesel to save hard earned money of the tax payers. He has demanded to open a research centre at Nagpur for further research in this sector. The web portal will give all the information related to bio-fuel. This will also useful in creating employment for youths as well as help farmers to make them financially sound. This is a Hindi web portal and very soon it will be launched in all the regional languages, Parse added.
नागपूर : शहरातील रेल्वे स्थानकाच्या जनरल मिटिंग रुममध्ये ९ किलो ९०० ग्रॅम गांजा आढळून आला आहे. ‘आरपीएफ‘च्या विशेष गुन्हे शोध पथकाने हा गांजा जप्त केला आहे. याप्रकरणी २ आरोपींना अटक केली आहे. वसीम इस्लामउद्दीन आणि मुजफ्फर मोहम्मद अशी त्यांची नावे आहेत. महिन्याभरातील मादक पदार्थासंबंधीची ही चौथी यशस्वी कारवाई आहे.
नागपूर रेल्वे स्थानकावरून ये-जा करणाऱ्या गाड्यांमधून अनेक वेळा गांजाची तस्करी केली जात असल्याच्या घटना समोर आल्या आहेत. दक्षिण जलदगती रेल्वेमधून अनेक वेळा गांजाची मोठी तस्करी होत असल्याचे समोर आले आहे. आज नागपूर स्थानकाच्या फलाट क्रमांक 1 वरील जनरल वेटिंग रुमजवळ २ जण संशयितरित्या वावरत असल्याची माहिती आरपीएफला मिळाली होती. त्यानंतर आरपीएफच्या जवानांनी त्यांची झडती घेतली. त्यावेळी त्यांच्याकडे असलेल्या बॅगमध्ये ९ किलो ९०० ग्रॅम गांजा आढळून आला. या दोघांना आरटीओ पुणे यांनी ताब्यात घेतले. यामध्ये वसीम इस्लामउद्दीन आणि मुजफ्फर मोहम्मद यांचा समावेश आहे. दोन्ही आरोपी उत्तर प्रदेशचे राहणारे आहेत. दक्षिण जलदगती रेल्वेमधून गांजा आणला असल्याचा संशय व्यक्त केला जात आहे. पुढील तपास सुरु करण्यात आला आहे.
नागपूर : विवाहाला अनेक वर्षे उलटूनही मुलबाळ होत नसल्याने एक महिला भोंदू बाबाच्या संपर्कात आली. त्याने तिला सात लाख रुपयांनी गंडवले. भोंदूबाबाच्या आशीर्वादानेही मूल होत नसल्याने आपली फसवणूक झाल्याचे लक्षात आल्यानंतर तिने पोलिसांत तक्रार दिली. याप्रकरणी पाचपावली पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे.
मुकुश ऊर्फ टिल्लू बाबा ऊर्फ टिल्लू डागोर (६०) रा. रामनगर, पांढराबोडी आणि रजनी माहुले (३५) रा. बुद्धनगर उद्यानाजवळ अशी आरोपींची नावे असून पोलिसांनी त्यांना अटक केली आहे.
पीडित ३२ वर्षीय महिलेचे दोन लग्न झाले. पहिल्या पतीपासून तिला मूलबाळ काहीच नव्हते. २०१२ मध्ये पहिल्या पतीचा मृत्यू झाला. २०१३ मध्ये तिने दुसरे लग्न केले. या दोघांचे लग्न होऊ न दोन वर्षे झाली तरीही तिला मूलबाळ नव्हते. त्यामुळे ती त्रस्त होती. तिच्या परिचयातील रजनी माहुले हिने तिला एका बाबाकडे चलण्याचा आग्रह केला. महिलेने ही माहिती आपल्या पतीला दिली. त्यानेही यासाठी परवानगी दिली. रजनीने पीडित महिलेची टिल्लू बाबासोबत भेट करून दिली. त्यावेळी बाबाने मूल होईल, पण त्यासाठी पूजा करावी लागेल आणि खर्चही खूप येईल असे सांगितले. महिला पूजेसाठी तयार झाली. दोन वर्षे बाबाने तिला औषधे दिली. परंतु, तिला काहीच फायदा झाला नाही. त्यामुळे टिल्लू बाबाने तिच्या घरी पूजा करण्याचे ठरवले. अनेकदा पूजा करण्यात आली. प्रत्येक पूजेच्या वेळी दोघेही महिलेकडून ४० ते ५० हजार उकळत. अशाप्रकारे एकूण सात लाख रुपये उकळले. आपली फसगत झाल्याचे लक्षात येताच महिलेने पैसे परत मागितले असता टिल्लू बाबाने तिला भीती दाखवली. त्यामुळे महिलेने पाचपावली पोलीस ठाण्यात तक्रार दिली.

A painting of Narendra Modi at a railway station holding a bag was picked up for Rs 5 lakh during the two-day physical auction of the gifts received by the prime minister since he took the charge of office.
A painting, with a reserve price of Rs 50,000 was painted by Nagpur-based artist Bijay Biswaal, and it received the highest bids at the auction.

Around 270 of the the 1,900 items were sold during the last day of the physical auction. The e-auction of the remaining gifts will continue till January 31 on the portal www.pmmementos.gov.in
After the e-auction ends, the total amount raised will be used for ‘Namami Gange’, a Central government project to clean the Ganga river.
Biswaal, a self-taught artist, said that he is on top of the as his painting received the highest bid.
“I made the painting as the return gift to the prime minister after he praised me for over a minute in his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat‘, especially for the painting I made on Railways,’ Biswaal said.
Biswal also said that he is a great fan of Modi and would like to meet him again. He has also made a few more paintings of the Prime Minister.
नागपूर : नागपूरच्या दक्षिण-पश्चिम भागातील बारासिग्नल या दलितबहुल वस्तीतील सौंदर्यीकरण केलेली विहीर ‘गांधीजींची विहीर’ या नावाने आेळखली जाते. महात्मा गांधीजींनी ९० वर्षांपूर्वी देशभरात राबवलेल्या अस्पृश्यता निवारणाच्या कार्याची साक्ष देत ही विहीर आजही चांगल्या स्थितीत आहे. आता घरोघरी नळ आल्याने मागील काही वर्षांत विहिरीतील पाण्याचा वापर बंद झाला आहे. मात्र, आजही या वस्तीतील दलित बांधवांमध्ये या विहिरीबद्दल जिव्हाळ्याची भावना आहे.
सन १९३३ मध्ये सेवाग्रामला जाण्यापूर्वी राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी नागपुरात आले होते. अचानक त्यांनी तत्कालीन दक्षिण नागपूरच्या बारासिग्नल या दलित वस्तीला भेट दिली. त्या वेळी त्यांच्यासमवेत काँग्रेसचे ज्येष्ठ नेते डॉ. पट्टाभी सीतारामय्या, स्थानिक अनुयायी पूनमचंद रांका, बॅरिस्टर अभ्यंकर ही मंडळी होती. तेथील लाेकांशी स्वच्छतेबाबत चर्चा करीत असताना त्यांना एक धक्कादायक बाब समजली. पिण्याच्या पाण्यासाठी लाेकांना चक्क नाल्याचे पाणी वापरावे लागत हाेते. पिण्यासाठीचे पाणी हे लाेक उकळून पीत तर अंघोळ किंवा इतर कामांसाठी त्याच अशुद्ध पाण्याचा वापर सुरू होता. या प्रकारामुळे व्यथित झालेल्या गांधीजींनी वस्तीत विहीर तयार करण्याचा विचार बोलून दाखवला. स्थानिक अनुयायांसह स्वातंत्र्यसैनिक बजरंग ठेकेदार, जंगलुजी बढेल आणि तत्कालीन नागपूर म्युनिसिपल कमिटीने प्रतिसाद देत विहिरीच्या खोदकामासाठी पुढाकार घेतला. पैशासाठीही अनेकांनी हातभार लावला. रांका आणि अभ्यंकर कुटुंबातील महिलांनी तर आपल्या सोन्याच्या चार बांगड्या काढून दिल्या. अशा सर्वांच्या सहकार्याने विहिरीचे काम पूर्ण झाले. त्यानंतर ८ नोव्हेंबर १९३३ रोजी गांधीजी पुन्हा नागपुरात आल्यावर त्यांच्याच हस्ते विहिरीचे उद््घाटन पार पडले.
या विहिरीच्या जीर्णोद्धारासाठी प्रयत्न करणारे माजी आमदार भोला बढेल सांगतात, उद्घाटन करताना गांधीजींनी स्वत: विहिरीतील पाणी वस्तीतील काही बांधवांना पाजले, असे आमचे पूर्वज सांगतात. त्यानंतर गांधीजींनी अनेकदा या वस्तीला भेट दिली. वस्तीतील साफसफाईचे कार्य स्वत:च्या हस्ते केले. गांधीजी या वस्तीतील मुलांना स्वत: अंघोळ घालून स्वच्छता आणि आरोग्याचा सातत्याने संदेश देत…’
मध्यंतरी या विहिरीच्या जीर्णोद्धाराचा विषय पुढे आला. विहिरीचे ऐतिहासिक महत्त्व लक्षात घेऊन तिचे संवर्धन, डागडुजी, सौंदर्यीकरण आवश्यक होते. तत्कालीन आमदार भोला बढेल यांनी त्यासाठी पुढाकार घेतला. तत्कालीन खासदार सुनील दत्त, उत्तर प्रदेशचे तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री कल्याणसिंह यांना त्यांनी नागपुरात विहिरीचे दर्शन घडवले. १९९६ मध्ये तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर जोशी, पालकमंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या उपस्थितीत विहिरीच्या सौदर्यीकरणाच्या कामाला सुरुवात झाली. काम पूर्ण झाल्यावर मुख्यमंत्री जोशी पुन्हा उद््घाटनासाठी आले होते. या विहिरीचे सौंदर्यीकरण आजही बऱ्याच प्रमाणात शाबूत आहे.
विहिरीबद्दल आजही स्थान : माजी आमदार भाेला बढेल
वस्तीत नळ आल्याने मागील काही वर्षांपासून विहिरीतील पाण्याचा वापर बंद झाला आहे. मात्र विहिरीची नियमित साफसफाई होते. गांधी जयंती, पुण्यतिथी, स्वातंत्र्य दिन आणि प्रजासत्ताक दिनाला विहिरीजवळ कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन केले जाते. ही विहीर गांधीजींनी स्वत: आमच्या समाजासाठी बांधली. आज अस्पृश्यतेचा कलंक हद्दपार झाला असला तरी आमच्या पूर्वजांनी सोसलेल्या हालअपेष्टांची आठवण या विहिरीच्या निमित्ताने होते. त्यामुळेच आम्हाला या विहिरीबद्दल विशेष आस्था वाटते.. असे माजी आमदार भोला बढेल सांगतात.

Nagpur : The Maharashtra Electricity Generation Company Limited (Mahagenco) has decided to hike the honorarium of its skilled trainees by Rs 6000 per month. The decision was taken by Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule following the demand raised by the skilled trainees. Over 1500 trainees will be benefited with this decision.
Mahagenco absorbs the eligible project-affected persons as skilled trainees. At present, the ITI skilled trainees get Rs 8000 per month for the first three years and Rs 10,000 per month thereafter. They get an annual hike of Rs 500.
The hike has been given following the demand by the ITI passed trainees to pay them honorarium on the lines of minimum wages paid to different contractual labourers in Mahagenco. The skilled trainees who have completed five year of service are paid Rs 10,000 per month and will now get honorarium of Rs 16,000 per month.
There are total 235 trainees who have completed more than five years of service. The total number of trainees completing more than two years of service and less than 5 years are 759 while those in the service for two years are 518. Mahagenco was spending Rs 1.33 crore towards their honorarium which would now be Rs 2.23 crore.
नागपूर : रेल्वेत नोकरीचे आमिष दाखवून बंटी-बबलीसह चार जणांनी बेरोजगार युवकाची साडेअकरा लाखांनी फसवणूक केली. याप्रकरणी गणेशपेठ पोलिसांनी बंटी-बबलीसह चौघांविरुद्ध गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे.
निकिता मेश्राम, सुमित मेश्राम, राज यादव, धीर खुराण,अशी गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आलेल्यांची नावे आहेत. २०१५ मध्ये निखिल दत्तूजी ठाकरे (वय २८ ,रा. राजेश्वरनगर,गोधनी) याची निकिता व सुमितसोबत ओळख झाली. ‘भारतीय रेल्वेत टीसीची पदे रिक्त असून, तुला नोकरी लावून देतो,’ असे आमिष दोघांनी त्याला दाखविले. त्याच्याकडून वेळोवेळी अकरा लाख ५० हजार रुपये घेतले. त्यानंतर निकिताने त्याची धीर खुराणासोबत ओळख करून दिली. मार्च २०१६ मध्ये धीरने निखिलला दिल्ली येथे बोलाविले. यावेळी निखिल याची अन्य पाच बेरोजगार युवकांसोबत ओळख झाली. त्यांनाही नोकरी लावून देण्याच्या बहाण्याने दिल्ली येथे बोलाविण्यात आले होते. राज यादव याच्याकडे काम सोपविले आहे. तो काम करून देईल, तुम्ही ८ सप्टेंबर २०१६मध्ये पुन्हा दिल्लीला या, असे खुराणा याने निखिल याला सांगितले. यावेळी खुराणा याने निखिल व अन्य युवकांकडून शैक्षणिक प्रमाणपत्र घेतले. सप्टेंबर महिन्यात निखिल याला बोलाविणे आले नाही. त्याने राज याच्या मोबाइलवर संपर्क साधला. मोबाइल बंद होता. अखेर निखिल याने गणेशपेठ पोलिस स्टेशन गाठून तक्रार दिली. पोलिसांनी फसवणुकीचा गुन्हा दाखल करून तपास सुरू केला आहे.
Nagpur : Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Tuesday resolved to takeover all properties of Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) within city limits. This includes its buildings, sprawling Naivedyam Hall, gardens, play grounds, swimming pool complex, seven street schemes and 889 undeveloped layouts.
The civic body has also resolved to demand remaining amount from development charges from the Trust. The NMC has also sought financial assistance of Rs 500 crore from the State Government. The special general body of NMC passed this important decision in a meeting held on Tuesday at Town Hall, Mahal. Mayor Nanda Jichkar presided over the meeting.
The resolution was passed as per the directions of State Government. Maharashtra Government had declared to abolish NIT as two-planning authority with overlapping jurisdictions were creating hurdles in the planning of the orange city. After Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court granted stay to scrapping of the Trust, the State Government has directed NIT to transfer its assets to NMC.
The general body passed a resolution to take over 889 layouts of NMC’s jurisdiction. Participating in debate, Ruling Party leader Sandip Joshi said, State Government is working to keep NIT away from the city limits and transfer all powers to elected body. However, it will take time due to technical glitch and High Court stay. He said, “We also seek remaining development funds from NIT and also need financial assistance from the State Government. We will amend proposal to take over all the projects of the Trust, seven street schemes and other assets.”
Senior Congress corporator Praful Gudadhe Patil criticised ruling party for not dissolving NIT. After dissolution, the transfer of properties will not be required as it would automatically follow, he added. Senior BJP corporator Avinash Thakre said, the NMC should take possession of all the properties of the Trust. Standing Committee Chairman Virendra Kukreja said, “We will demand transfer of funds from NIT as well seek financial assistance of Rs 500 crore from the State Government.” Former Mayor Pravin Datke said, “NIT should transfer all its properties including open spaces, public utility land, Naivedyam Hall, swimming tank and other buildings.” Mohd Jamal, Sandeep Sahare, Balya Borkar, Dr Ravindra Bhoyar, Jagdish Gwalbanshi, Kamlesh Choudhari also participated in the debate.
Shiv Sena leader Kishor Kumeria sought to know the actual amount is with the NIT. He alleged that NIT had spent all the amount deposited by the plot holders. After marathon discussion, Mayor directed administration to take decision as suggested by the members and send a proposal to the State Government for its nod.
नागपूर : तब्बल ३४ वर्षांनंतर अखिल भारतीय मराठी नाट्य संमेलनाचे नागपुरात २२ ते २५ फेब्रुवारीदरम्यान आयोजन करण्यात येणार आहे. या संमेलनासाठीच्या ‘लोगो’चे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या हस्ते सोमवारी अनावरण करण्यात आले. अनेक वर्षांनंतर नागपुरात होणारे हे संमेलन निश्चित दर्जेदार ठरेल, असा ठाम विश्वास मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी दिला.
आजवर देशविदेशात अनेक नाट्य संमेलने झालेली आहेत. पण नागपूरकरांसाठी बऱ्याच कालावधीनंतर हे संमेलनात होणार असल्यामुळे नाट्यकर्मींमध्ये उत्साह आहे. या संमेलनासाठी नाट्य परिषदेच्या नागपूर शाखेने बराव पाठपुरावा केल्यानंतर हे संमेलनात नागपुरात होत आहे. संमेलनाचे अध्यक्षपद विदर्भाचेच ज्येष्ठ रंगकर्मी प्रेमानंद गज्वी भूषविणार असून उद्घाटनही विदर्भाचे ज्येष्ठ नाटककार महेश एलकुंचवार यांच्या हस्ते होणार आहे. केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी हे संमेलनाध्यक्ष असून मुख्यमंत्री प्रमुख मार्गदर्शक आहेत.

Similarly, the meeting of workers from West Vidarbha will be held at Dnyneshwar Sanskrutik Sabhagriha, Amravati on February 14. BJP has betrayed the people of Vidarbha on the statehood demand, he said.
Dr Khandewale said the Vidarbha Nirman Mahamanch will have to contest the forthcoming elections ensuring defeat of Congress and the BJP. A strategy on the lines of Telangana will have to be formulated to achieve the goal, he said. Similarly, massive public awareness is also necessary, he stressed.
