नागपुर : नागपुर शहरात कोरोनाबाधित रुग्णांची संख्या सातत्त्याने वाढत असल्याने शहरातील प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्रातही वाढ होत आहे. सतरंजीपुरा झोनमधील प्रभाग क्रमांक ५ मधील तुलसीनगर भागात कोरोनाबाधित रुग्ण आढळून आल्याने व त्याचा प्रादुर्भाव शहरातील इतर भागात पसरू नये यासाठी सोमवारी या परिसरातील वस्त्या सील करण्याचे आदेश मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी जारी केले.
शासकीय व निमशासकीय सेवेतील अत्यावश्यक सेवेत कार्यरत असणारे अधिकारी व कर्मचारी, आवश्यक तातडीची वैद्यकीय कारणे तसेच अंत्यविधी, वैद्यकीय सेवेशी संबंधित खासगी डॉक्टर, परिचारिका, मेडिकल स्टोअर्स दुकानदार, पॅथॉलॉजिस्ट, रुग्णवाहिका, पोलिस विभागामार्फत पासधारक असलेले जीवनावश्यक वस्तूंचा पुरवठा करणारे व्यक्ती यांना या आदेशातून वगळण्यात आले आहे.

नागपूर : सलग तीन दिवस तीन मृत्यू , वैद्यकीय क्षेत्रात खळबळ उडाली. आठ दिवसांत हा चौथा मृत्यू आहे. मृतांची संख्या सात झाली आहे. विशेष म्हणजे, मृत महिलेच्या नातेवाईकांनी माहिती लपवून ठेवल्याने एका डॉक्टरसह नऊ परिचारिका व दोन अटेन्डंटवर क्वारंटाईन होण्याची वेळ आली. आज नऊ रुग्ण पॉझिटिव्ह आले. रुग्णांची संख्या ३७३ वर पोहचली आहे. समाधानाची बाब म्हणजे, आज मेडिकलमधून ४२ तर मेयोमधून तीन असे एकूण ४५ रुग्ण कोरोनामुक्त होऊन घरी परतले. बरे झालेल्यांची संख्या २७२ झाली आहे.
मेयोच्या अपघात विभागात सोमवारी सायंकाळी ५६ वर्षीय महिलेला दाखल करण्यात आले होते. रुग्णाच्या नातेवाईकांनी पत्ता हंसापुरी सांगितल्याने डॉक्टरांनी रुग्णावर संशय न घेता मेडिसीनच्या अतिदक्षता विभागात दाखल केले. महिला रुग्णाला हृदयविकाराचा त्रास होता. रुग्णाची गंभीर प्रकृती पाहता तातडीने अतिदक्षता विभागात भरती केले. येथे उपचार सुरू असताना साधारण २० मिनिटात रुग्णाचा मृत्यू झाला. मृताच्या घशातील द्रवाचे नमुने घेऊन तपासणीसाठी पाठविले असता सोमवारी सकाळी अहवाल पॉझिटिव्ह आला. यामुळे या रुग्णावर उपचार करणाऱ्या डॉक्टरसह, परिचारिका व अटेन्डंट अशा नऊ जणांना क्वारंटाईन करण्यात आले. रुग्णालय प्रशासनाकडून मृताची अधिक माहिती घेतली असता मृत महिला कंटेन्मेंट परिसर म्हणजे मोमिनपुरा येथील रहिवासी होती. मृताच्या नातेवाईकांनी हे आधीच सांगितले असते तर आज डॉक्टर, नर्सेस व अटेन्डंटला क्वारंटाईन करण्याची गरज पडली नसल्याचे सांगितले जाते.
गड्डीगोदाम येथील पुन्हा सहा रुग्ण पॉझिटिव्ह
मोमिनपुरा व सतरंजीपुरा येथील सर्वाधिक रुग्ण दिसून येत असताना आता यात गड्डीगोदाम येथील रुग्णांची भर पडत चालली आहे. रविवारी या वसाहतीतून पाच रुग्ण पॉझिटिव्ह आले असताना सोमवारी पुन्हा सहा रुग्ण मेयोच्या प्रयोगशाळेत पॉझिटिव्ह आले. या वसाहतीतील आतापर्यंत १२ रुग्णांचे निदान झाले आहे. तर मोमिनपुऱ्यातील दोन रुग्ण माफसुच्या प्रयोगशाळेत पॉझिटिव्ह आले. हे आठही रुग्ण सिम्बॉयसीस येथे क्वारंटाईन होते.
मेयोतून ३ तर मेडिकलमधून ४२ रुग्ण घरी
मेयोमधून मोमिनपुरा येथील दोन पुरुष व एका महिलेला सुटी देण्यात आली. तर मेडिकलमधून तब्बल ४२ रुग्णांना सुटी देण्यात आली. कोरोनाबाधित सुधारीत डिस्चार्ज धोरणानुसार मेडिकलने या रुग्णांना सुटी दिल्याचे सांगण्यात येते. या रुग्णांना पुढील सात दिवस सक्तीचे होम आयसोलेशन राहायचे आहे. यांच्याकडून तसे प्रतिज्ञापत्र लिहून घेण्यात आल्याची माहिती आहे.
सारीचा एक मृत्यू तर आठ नवे रुग्ण भरती
‘सिव्हिअरली अॅक्यूट रेस्पिरेटरी इलनेस’ म्हणजे ‘सारी’च्या रुग्णांना कोरोनाचा संसर्ग होण्याचा धोका सर्वाधिक असतो. आतापर्यंत सारी व कोविड पॉझिटिव्ह आलेल्या दोन रुग्णांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. यामुळे या रुग्णांची विशेष काळजी घेतली जात आहे. आज अमरावती येथून आलेल्या ७०वर्षीय महिलेचा मेडिकलमध्ये मृत्यू झाला. या शिवाय, मेडिकलमध्ये सारीचे आठ नवे रुग्ण भरती झाले. यात तीन लहान मुलांसह चार पुरूष व एक महिला आहे. सध्या १४ रुग्ण उपचार घेत आहेत.

नागपूर, ता. १८: कोरोनामुळे सुरू असलेल्या लॉकडाउन दरम्यान सुरक्षेचा उपाय म्हणून नागपूर महानगरपालिकेतर्फे विविध उपाययोजना करण्यात येत आहेत. सद्यस्थितीत शासन निर्देशांच्या अनुषंगाने काही निर्बंधामध्ये टप्प्याटप्प्याने शिथिलता देण्यात येत आहे. यासंदर्भात शासन आणि प्रशासनाने दिलेल्या सर्व दिशानिर्देशांचे पालन करणे आवश्यक आहे, अशी माहिती देताना मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी वृद्ध आणि रुग्णांच्या सुविधेच्या दृष्टीने त्यांच्या केअरटेकरसाठी प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्र वगळता अन्य ठिकाणी सेवा देण्यास कुठलेही निर्बंध आखण्यात आले नसल्याचेही स्पष्ट केले.
लॉकडाउनचा पहिला टप्पा सुरू झाला तेव्हापासून शासनाच्या दिशानिर्देशाचे पालन करत बहुतांश सोसायटी आणि घराघरांमध्ये घरकामासाठी येणा-या महिला आणि पुरूषांनाही सुरक्षेचा उपाय म्हणून नागरिकांनी तसेच सोसायट्यांनी स्वत:हून रजा दिली होती. दरम्यान लॉकडाउनचा चवथा टप्पा ३१ मे पर्यंत राज्य शासनाने वाढविला असला तरी स्थानिक प्रशासनाने काही बाबींसाठी शिथिलता आणली आहे. यात खाजगी कार्यालये आणि शासकीय कार्यालयांनाही नियम व अटींच्या अधीन राहून सुरू करण्याचे आदेश काढले. यामुळे दैनंदिन कामकाज हळुहळू पूर्वपदावर येण्याची प्रक्रिया सुरू झालेली आहे.
दरम्यान घरकामांना येणा-या घरगड्यांबाबत ब-याच नागरिकांमध्ये अद्यापही संभ्रमाचे वातावरण आहे. अनेक सोसायट्यांनी स्वत:हून घरगड्यांबाबत टाकलेले निर्बंध हटविले नाही. यासंदर्भात स्पष्टता आणताना मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी सांगितले की, घरकामासाठी किंवा रुग्ण, वृद्ध यांचेसाठी केअरटेकर ठेवण्याबाबत मनपा प्रशासनाने निर्बंध लावण्याबाबत कोणतेही आदेश काढलेले नाही. घरगड्यांना कामावर बोलावणे अथवा न बोलावणे हा निर्णय पूर्णपणे संबंधित घरप्रमुख किंवा सोसायट्यांचा आहे. यात फक्त एकाच बाबतीत दक्षता घ्यायची आहे की, नागपूर शहरातील प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्रातील कुठलीही व्यक्ती प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्राबाहेर घरकामास जाणार नाही. अथवा प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्राबाहेरील कुठलीही व्यक्ती प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्रात घरकामास जाउ शकणार नाही. प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्राबाहेर असलेल्या व्यक्तीला प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्राबाहेरीलच घरी अथवा सोसायटीमध्ये घरकामावर बोलविण्यास कुठलिही हरकत नाही. खबरदारीचा उपाय म्हणून कामावर येताना हात स्वच्छ धुणे, सॅनिटाईज करणे, मास्क वापरणे, सोशल डिस्टंसिंगचे पालन करणे या गोष्टी पाळणे गरजेचे आहे. मोठ्या सोसायट्यांमध्ये अनेक ज्येष्ठ नागरिक व आजारी व्यक्ती राहतात. त्यांना जीवन जगणे सुकर व्हावे व दैनंदिन जीवनात अडचण निर्माण होउ नये यासाठीही सोसायट्यांनी घरकाम करणा-या व्यक्तींना खबरदारीचे सर्व नियम पाळून सोसायटीमध्ये प्रवेश देण्यास हरकत नाही, असेही आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी सांगितले.
नागपूर, ता. १८: जनावरांची नोंदणी व परवान्यासाठी मनपाने उपविधी तयार केली आहे. या उपविधीमुळे आता जनावरे पाळण्यासाठी नागरिकांना नागपूर महानगरपालिकेची परवानगी घेणे आवश्यक राहणार आहे. महाराष्ट्र महानगरपालिका अधिनियम मधील कलम ३७६ (व्यवसाय परवाने आणि जनावरे पाळणे व काही घटकांकरिता इतर परवाने) व अनुसूची ‘ड’ मधील प्रकरण १४ मधील नियम २२ (जनावरे पाळणे व नाश करणे) या तरतुदी नुसार महापालिकेने नागपूर शहरातील जनावरांची नोंदणी व परवाने देण्याकरीता नागपूर महानगरपालिका (जनावरे पाळणे व ने-आण करणे) उपविधी-२०२० तयार करण्यात आली आहे. नवीन उपविधीनुसार जनावरांची टॅगींग करणे आवश्यक राहील.
महानगरपालिका हद्दीतील जागेत जनावरे पाळणे व ने-आण करणे इत्यादी करिता परवाना व लेखी परवानगी दिली जाईल. नागरिकांकरिता ही उपविधी https://www.nmcnagpur.gov.in/vsnmc/ या लिंकवर उपलब्ध आहे. उपविधीवर हरकती किंवा सूचना मागविण्यात आलेल्या असून सूचना व आक्षेप आनलाईन पद्धतीने नोंदविता येतील. नागरिकांकडून प्राप्त हरकती किंवा सूचना प्रशासनाद्वारे विचारा घेण्यात येतील. नागरिकांच्या या सूचनांचा समावेश करून उपविधी सभागृहासमक्ष विचारार्थ ठेवण्यात येईल व त्यानंतर शासनाकडे मंजुरीकरिता पाठविण्यात येणार आहे. शासनाच्या मंजुरीनंतर ही उपविधी राजपत्रामध्ये प्रसिद्ध करण्यात येईल व प्रसिद्धीच्या दिनांकापासून अंमलात येईल, अशी माहिती उपायुक्त तथा घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन विभाग संचालक डॉ. प्रदीप दासरवार यांनी दिली.
या उपविधी अनुसार जनावरांना पाळणे किंवा ने-आण करण्याकरिता मनपा आयुक्तांची परवानगी आवश्यक राहील. तसेच जे व्यक्ती या पूर्वीच जनावरे पाळत किंवा ने-आण करत असतील त्यांना सुध्दा उपविधी अस्तीत्वात येण्याचे तारखेपासून ९० दिवसाचा आत अर्ज करावा लागेल. अर्जदार जर मनपा देयकाचा बाबतीत थकबाकीदार असल्यास त्याला परवानगी नाकारण्यात येईल. परवानगीचा कालावधी संपण्याअगोदर नूतनीकरण करण्यास बंधनकारक राहील. तसे न झाल्यास त्याला प्रति दिवस विलंब शुल्क भरावा लागेल अन्यथा त्याचा परवाना रदद करण्यात येईल.
उपविधीच्या तरतुदीचा भंग करण्या-या व्यक्ती, संस्थेस अपराधसिध्द झाल्यानंतर शिक्षेचे प्रावधान करण्यात आला आहे. त्यानुसार संबंधित व्यक्तीला ५००० रुपये पर्यंत दंडाची शिक्षा होऊ शकेल. जर आदेशाचा भंग चालू राहील्यास प्रत्येक दिवसाकरीता १००० रुपये प्रथम सात दिवसाकरीता, ३००० रुपये पुढील सात दिवसाकरिता व ५००० रुपये त्यापुढील सात दिवसांकरिता दंड आकारणी करण्यात येईल. दंड विहीत मुदतीमध्ये न भरल्यास त्याला मालमत्ता करामध्ये समाविष्ट करुन वसूल करण्यात येईल. प्राण्यांना इतरत्र मलमूत्र विसर्जन करतांना आढळून आल्यास त्या मालकावर प्रथम गुन्ह्याकरीता ५०० रुपये, व १००० रुपये दुस-या गुन्हयाकरीता दंड आकारण्यात येऊ शकते. मनपा परवाना रद्द करणे व नागरिकांच्या आरोग्यास बाधा आणल्याप्रकरणी विभाग त्यांच्या विरुद्ध गुन्हा दाखल करु शकेल.
परवानगी प्राप्त जनावरांना टॅगींग करणे तसेच श्वान, मांजरींना मायक्रोचिपींग करणे आवश्यक राहील. याचा खर्च जनावरे मालकांना करावा लागेल. टॅगींग नसलेल्या जनावरांना मनपा ताब्यात घेऊ शकेल, असे उपविधीमध्ये प्रस्तावित करण्यात आले आहे.
जनावरांचा गोठा बांधण्याकरीता महाराष्ट्र प्रादेशिक नगर रचना अधिनियम १९६६ अंतर्गत परवानगी आवश्यक राहील. तसेच १० जनावरांपेक्षा जास्त जनावरे पाळत असल्यास महाराष्ट्र प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडळाची परवानगी आवश्यक राहिल.
India 2020 : Phishing attacks are being inspired by the Aarogya Setu app and various video calling apps, as cyber criminals are taking advantage of the COVID pandemic. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN) in its latest alert says that there has been a significant rise in phishing attacks in the name of the Aarogya Setu contact tracing app as well as video meeting apps such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet.
It turns out that scammers are impersonating the World Health Organization (WHO), HR departments and top executives of companies or any other person who you may possibly know to spread fake and reference these popular apps that suggest “Your neighbor is infected”, “See who all are infected”, “Someone who came in contact with you tested positive”, “recommendations to self-isolate” and “Guidelines to use Aarogya Setu app”.
Software technologies company Check Point recently said that they have seen 192,000 coronavirus-related cyber-attacks per week over the past three weeks, a 30% increase compared to previous weeks. They say, “in the past three weeks, almost 20,000 new coronavirus-related domains were registered and 17% of these are malicious or suspicious.”
“Threat actors are taking the interest of users related to Coronavirus and performing threats. New phishing domains are created which are centered around the subject such as “relief package”, “safety tips during corona”, “corona testing kit”, “corona vaccine”, “payment and donation during corona”. Threat actors trick users through phishing e-mails and messages based on the above subjects,” says CERT-in in the advisory.
The advisory says that we should watch out for phishing domains, spelling errors in emails, websites and unfamiliar email senders. Users should also not download or open any file received in an email or an SMS link. Also, never submit your personal information on unfamiliar websites and beware of clicking on links that offer rewards etc. It is recommended that computing devices should use firewalls and antivirus solutions to warn you in case of phishing attempts.
New Delhi :Union home minister Amit Shah on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a high-level meeting with MHA and National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) at 4pm to review the “arising cyclone situation in various parts of the country”.
“To review the arising cyclone situation in various parts of the country, PM @narendramodi ji will chair a high level meeting with MHA & NDMA, today at 4pm,” Shah tweeted.
As Cyclone Amphan approached the Indian coast, its effect could be seen in West Bengal, Odisha and the southern regions early on Monday. A yellow alert has been issued in Karnataka’s Mangalore after heavy rains lashed the city, inundating some of its areas. In Telangana, the storm pushed back a bus, forcing it to hit a tree after being dragged a few meters.
According to officials, heavy rains were witnessed in parts of Coastal Karnataka, Malnad and the south interior region. The Met department has predicted rainfall for three more days.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the storm is set to intensify into a “super cyclone storm” in the next 12 hours.
“Cyclone Amphan in Bay of Bengal, intensified into an extremely severe cyclonic storm at 2:30 am today. It is expected to further intensify into a super cyclonic storm in the next 12 hours:,” IMD director general Mrutyunjaya Mohapatra said.
“It is very likely to intensify further during next six hours. It is very likely to move north-northeastwards and move fast across northwest Bay of Bengal and cross West Bengal–Bangladesh coasts between Digha (West Bengal) and Hatiya Islands (Bangladesh) during the afternoon/evening of May 20,” the IMD said.
As a result of the forecast, fishermen have been warned not to venture into south Bay of Bengal during the next 24 hours, to central Bay of Bengal on May 17 and 18 and North Bay of Bengal from May 18 to 20. Seventeen teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been deployed in Odisha and West Bengal in view of the approaching cyclone, the chief of the force said on Sunday.
NDRF Director General S N Pradhan said seven teams of the force have been deployed in West Bengal. These teams are in six districts — South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, East Midnapore, West Midnapore, Howrah and Hooghly. In Odisha, 10 teams have been deployed in seven districts — Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore and Mayurbhanj.
The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KDSMA) issued an update around 8am on Monday, saying that thunderstorm with wind speed of 40Kmph in gusts “accompanied by moderate rainfall at one or two places in Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Kannur and Kasaragod districts and Minicoy island In Lakashadweep”.
The IMD in its latest tweet said: Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘AMPHAN’ over west-central & adjoining central parts of South BoB: Cyclone Warning for West Bengal and north Odisha coasts. To intensify further as SuCS.
The effects of the cyclone could also be seen in Telangana’s Khammam too where the storm was seen pushing back a bus.
The National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC) on Saturday reviewed the preparedness for the impending cyclone and directed immediate assistance to West Bengal and Odisha.
New Delhi :The Central Board of Secondary Education is all set to announce the revised datesheet for CBSE Class 10th, 12th Board Exams scheduled to be held in July this year. The datesheet was earlier scheduled to be released on May 16 at 5pm. However, the HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal informed that the same has been deferred till Monday, May 18. The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 datesheet will be released at cbse.nic.in.
He had tweeted, “Taking some additional technical aspects into consideration before finalizing the datesheet of board exams, the CBSE datesheet of class 10th and 12th examination, which had to be held today at 5 pm, will now be announced by Monday (18-05-2020)”.
All the students are advised to visit the official website of CBSE to check the revised board Class 10 and Class 12 datesheet, as and when it is released. They can visit the website using the direct link here.
As previously informed, there will not be any CBSE Class 10 board exams for students across the nation, except for students in North-East Delhi. The students in this region have previously missed all the board exams due to the Delhi riots. They will have to take six examination – Hindi Course A, Hindi Course B, English Communication, English Language and Literature, Science and Social Science. These subjects have already been conducted pan-India.
Meanwhile, the students of CBSE Class 12 will have to take the examination for 12 remaining subjects. The students from North-East Delhi will have to appear for addition 11 subjects, the exams for which have already been conducted for other students.
The CBSE Class 12 exams for students pan-India will have to appear for Business Studies, Geography, Hindi (Elective), Hindi (Core), Home Science, Sociology, Computer Science (Old), Computer Science (New), Information Practice (Old), Information Practice (New), Information Technology and Bio-Technology.
नागपूर :विदर्भात एकीकडे ‘लॉकडाऊन’ शिथील केले जात असताना दुसरीकडे रुग्णांची संख्या वाढतच चालली आहे. रविवारी ६१ रुग्णांची नोंद झाली. यात अकोल्यात एकाच दिवशी ३७ रुग्ण व एका रुग्णाचा मृत्यू झाला. नागपुरात १५ रुग्ण व एक मृत्यू तर बुलढाणा आणि अमरावतीत प्रत्येकी ३ रुग्णांचे निदान झाले. रुग्णांची एकूण संख्या ८३५ वर पोहचली आहे. अकोल्यात रुग्णांची संख्या थांबण्याचे नाव घेत नाही आहे. रविवारी ३७ रुग्ण पॉझिटिव्ह आल्याने रुग्णांची संख्या २५७वर पोहचली आहे. यात एका ४८ वर्षीय रुग्णाचा मृत्यू आहे. मृत्यूनंतर नमुना पॉझिटिव्ह आला. या जिल्ह्यात आता पर्यंत १८ मृताची नोंद झाली असून यात एका रुग्णाने आत्महत्या केली आहे.
नागपुरातही एका ५६ वर्षीय व्यक्तीचा शनिवारी घरीच मृत्यू झाला. मृत्यूनंतर नमुना तपासला असता त्याचा अहवाल पॉझिटिव्ह आला. या मृत्यूने मृतांची संख्या ६ झाली आहे. या शिवाय, १५ नमुने पॉझिटिव्ह आल्याने रुग्णांची संख्या ३५६ वर पोहचली आहे. यातील १० रुग्णांना रुग्णालयातून सुटी देण्यात आली. आतापर्यंत २०८ रुग्ण बरे होऊन घरी परतले. अमरावती जिल्ह्यात तीन पॉझिटिव्ह रुग्णांची नोंद झाल्याने रुग्णांची संख्या १०६ वर पोहचली आहे.
विदर्भात शंभरी गाठणारा हा चवथा जिल्हा आहे. येथील मृताची संख्या १३ असून ६२ रुग्ण कोरोनामुक्त झाले आहेत. बुलढाणा जिल्ह्यात २७ एप्रिल रोजी कोरोनाबाधित रुग्णाची नोंद झाल्यानंतर सलग १९ दिवस रुग्ण आढळून आला नव्हता. येथे नोंद झालेले २४ रुग्ण कोरोनामुक्त होऊन घरी गेले. ग्रीनझोनकडे या जिल्ह्याची वाटचाल सुरू होती. मात्र शनिवारी रात्री उशीरा दोन तर रविवारी एक रुग्ण पॉझिटिव्ह आला. यामुळे येथील आरोग्य यंत्रणा पुन्हा सक्रीय झाली आहे. या जिल्ह्यात रुग्णांची संख्या २९ झाली असून एका मृत्यूची नोंद आहे. यवतमाळ जिल्ह्यात मागील सहा दिवसांत एकाही रुग्णाची नोंद नाही. येथील रुग्णांची संख्या स्थिर आहे.
नागपूर, ता. १७ :घाऊक भाजी विक्रीसाठी येत्या १९ मे पासून महात्मा फुले भाजी बाजार (कॉटन मार्केट) सुरू करण्याचे आदेश मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी रविवारी (१७ मे रोजी) जारी केले आहेत. पहाटे ४ ते सकाळी ८ या वेळेत कॉटन मार्केटमधील भाजीपाल्याची दुकाने सुरू राहतील. नागपूर बाहेरून येणा-या भाजीपाल्याच्या वाहनांना रात्री ११ ते पहाटे ४ या वेळेतच कॉटन मार्केट परिसरात येण्याची परवानगी राहिल. विशेष म्हणजे नागरिकांना किरकोळ खरेदीसाठी येथे बंदी करण्यात आली आहे.
महात्मा फुले भाजी बाजार (कॉटन मार्केट) शहरातील मध्यवर्ती ठिकाणी असलेला महत्त्वाचा भाजी बाजार असून येथे व्यापारी, विक्रेते, ग्राहक यांची मोठ्या प्रमाणात गर्दी होते. कोरोनाचा संसर्ग रोखण्यासाठी नागरिकांच्या सुरक्षेच्या व सार्वजनिक आरोग्याचे दृष्टीने हे मार्केट बंद करण्यात आले होते. सद्यस्थितीत लॉकडाऊन कालावधीत कोरोनाचा प्रादुर्भाव रोखण्यासाठी गर्दी टाळणे, सामाजिक अंतर पाळणे आदी नियमांची प्रभावी अंमलबजावणी करीत घाऊक विक्रीला मंगळवार दि. १९ मे, पासून दररोज पहाटे ४ ते सकाळी ८ या वेळेत परवानगी देण्यात आली आहे. लॉकडाऊन कालावधीत कॉटन मार्केटमधील विविध सेक्टर्समधील प्रत्येक दुकानदाराला आठवडयात एकच दिवस दुकान उघडून व्यवसाय करता येईल अशी व्यवस्था वेळापत्रकान्वये करण्यात आली आहे. तसेच भाजीपाला वगळता या मार्केटमधील इतर जीवनावश्यक वस्तूंची दुकाने दररोज सकाळी ९ ते सायंकाळी ७ वाजतापर्यंत सुरू राहतील.
या अटी व शर्तींचे पालन होणे आवश्यक
मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी दिलेल्या आदेशानुसार कॉटन मार्केट सुरू ठेवताना काही महत्वाच्या अटी व शर्तींचे पालन होणे आवश्यक आहे. त्यानुसार कोरोना विषाणू विषयक शासनाने निर्गमित केलेल्या आदेश व सूचनांचे पालन करणे बंधनकारक राहिल. तसेच मास्क व सॅनिटायजरचा वापर बंधनकारक राहिल. खरेदी करिता येणा-या ग्राहकांकडून सामाजिक अंतराचे पालन करून घेण्याची संपूर्ण जबाबदारी दुकानदारांची राहील, दुकानदाराला नेमून दिलेली जागा किंवा दुकानातच व्यवसाय करणे बंधनकारक राहिल, त्याला अतिरिक्त जागेचा वापर करता येणार नाही. एका दुकानदाराला भाजी विक्रीकरिता एकाच वाहनाची परवानगी राहील व सदर वाहन शहीद मैदान येथील वाहनतळावरच पार्क करावे लागेल. दुकानदारांना व सर्व संबंधितांना आपले वाहन भाजी मार्केटच्या क्षेत्रात नेता येणार नाही. सर्व घाऊक विक्रेत्यांनी त्यांना नेमून दिलेल्या जागा निर्धारित वेळेतच व्यवसाय करणे बंधनकारक राहिल. अटी व शर्तीचा उल्लंघन झाल्यास त्यांचा विरुध्द कायदेशीर कारवाई करण्यात येईल.
नवी दिल्ली : देशभरात 31 मेपर्यंत लॉकडाऊन वाढवण्याची घोषणा करण्यात आली आहे. देशभरातील लॉकडाऊन वाढविण्याचे निर्देश राष्ट्रीय आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरणाने (एनडीएमए) जारी केले आहेत. एनडीएमएने सर्व राज्यांना 31 मेपर्यंत लॉकडाऊन वाढवण्याचे निर्देश दिले आहेत. गृह मंत्रालयाने लॉकडाऊन 4.0 बाबत गाईडलाईन्स जाहीर केल्या आहेत.

– ग्रीन झोन असणाऱ्या त्याच राज्यात बस, टॅक्सी चालविण्याची परवानगी
– स्टेडियम, क्रीडा संकुल उघडणार, परंतु प्रेक्षकांना परवानगी नाही
– राज्यांच्या संमतीने आंतरराज्यीय बस सेवा सुरु करता येऊ शकते
– सामाजिक, धार्मिक आणि राजकीय कार्यक्रमांवर बंदी
– शाळा, महाविद्यालयं आणि सर्व शैक्षणिक संस्था बंदच राहणार
– रेड, ऑरेंज आणि ग्रीन झोनचा निर्णय राज्य सरकार घेईल
– लग्नसमारंभात 50हून अधिक लोक नसावेत
– अंत्यसंस्कारासाठी 20 पेक्षा जास्त लोकांना परवानगी नाही
त्या-त्या राज्यांतील कोरोना रुग्णांच्या परिस्थितीनुसार 5 झोन तयार करण्यात आले आहेत. ग्रीन झोन, ऑरेंज झोन, रेड झोन, कन्टेन्मेंट झोन आणि बफर झोन असे 5 झोन असणार आहे.
कन्टेन्मेंट झोन नसलेल्या भागात शॉपिंग मॉल वगळता इतर दुकानं सुरु करता येऊ शकतात.
मुंबई : कोरोना रुग्णांचा आकडा दिवसा गणिक वाढत आहे. त्यामुळे चिंता व्यक्त करण्यात येत आहे. राज्य सरकारने भविष्यात कोरोना विषाणू बाधितांचा आकडा वाढण्याचा धोका लक्षात घेऊन कोविड रुग्णांलयाची उभारणी करण्यावर भर दिली आहे. तसेच राज्याचे आरोग्य मंत्री राजेश टोपे यांनी पावसाळ्यात जूनमध्ये रुग्ण संख्येत वाढ होण्याची शक्यता वर्तविली आहे. त्यामुळे आरोग्य यंत्रणा अधिक सर्तक झाली आहे. दरम्यान, मुंबई आणि उपनगर ठाणे, कल्याण-डोंबिवली, बदलापूर, नवी मुंबई आदी ठिकाणी कोरोना बाधितांचा आकडा वाढत आहे. तर पनवेल, उरण या ठिकाणीही रुग्ण संख्येत झपाट्याने वाढ होत आहे.
औरंगाबाद शहरात गेल्या काही तासात ३० कोरोनाबाधित रुग्ण आढळले आहेत. असल्याने जिल्ह्यातील कोरोनाबाधितांची एकूण संख्या ८७२ झाली आहे, काल दिवसभरात कोरोनाचे ९३ रुग्ण आढळले होते. दिवसभरातली रुग्णसंख्या पाहाता कोरोनाचा मोठ्या प्रमाणात जिल्ह्यात प्रादुर्भाव होतोय. औरंगाबाद शहरात आज २३ कोरोनाबाधित रुग्णांची वाढ झाली आहे.
औरंगाबाद शहरातील आज आढळलेल्या रुग्णांचा तपशीलाप्रमाणे आहेत. या एमजीएम मेडिकल कॉलेज (३), हनुमान चौक, चिकलठाणा (१), राम नगर (३), एमआयडीसी (१), जालान नगर (१), संजय नगर, लेन नं.६ (१), सादात नगर (४), किराडपुरा (१), बजाज नगर (१), जिनसी रामनासपुरा (१), जुना मोंढा, भवानी नगर, गल्ली नं. पाच (१), जहागीरदार कॉलनी (१), आदर्श कॉलनी (१), रोशन गेट (१) यांचा समावेश आहे.तर
नागपुरात शुक्रवारी १८ कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह रुग्णांची भर पडले आहे. त्यामुळे कोरोनाबाधितांची संख्या झाली ३३६ वर गेला आहे. आतपर्यंत १९३ रुग्ण झाले कोरोनामुक्त झाले आहेत. तर पुणे जिल्ह्यात रात्री ६२ रुग्णांची वाढ झालेली दिसून येत आहे. जिल्ह्यात एकूण रुग्ण संख्या ३६२९ झाली असून एकूण मृत्यू १८६ जणांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे.
नांदेड येथे कोरोनाचे नव्याने १८ रुग्ण आढळले असून रुग्णसंख्या ८४ वर पोहोचली आहे. आज आढळलेल्या १८ पैकी १३ जण प्रवाशी आहेत. चार रुग्ण करबला आणि एक रुग्ण कुंभार गल्लीतील असून सर्व रुग्णांवर उपचार सुरू आहेत. आतापर्यंत पाच जणांचा झालाय मृत्यू झाला आहे.
जळगाव शहरात आणखी दोन कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह रूग्ण आढळले आहे. पॉझिटिव्ह आढळलेल्या रुग्णांमध्ये एका महिलेचा आणि पुरुषाचा समावेश. दोन्ही रुग्ण जळगाव शहरातील आहेत. जिल्ह्यात आतापर्यंत एकूण कोरोना बाधित रूग्णांची संख्या २३७ इतकी झाली असून त्यापैकी ३५ व्यक्ती कोरोनामुक्त तर २८ कोरोना बाधित रुग्णांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे.
जालना जिल्ह्यातील कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह रुग्णांची संख्या २५वर गेली आहे. शहरातील खासगी हॉस्पिटलच्या प्रशासकीय अधिकाऱ्यासह मंठा तालुक्यातील पेवा गावच्या महिलेचा रिपोर्ट पॉझिटिव्ह आला आहे. सात रुग्णांचे रिपोर्ट निगेटिव्ह आल्याने त्यांना काल घरी सोडण्यात आले आहे. कोविड -१९ रुग्णालयात सध्या १८ रुग्णांवर उपचार सुरु आहेत.

As reported by Daily Mail, Ruffin Chaveleau, who heads Uber’s customer service, broke the news of layoffs to employees on the call.
“We are eliminating 3,500 frontline customer support roles,” Chaveleau said, telling them “your role is impacted and today will be your last working day with Uber.”
“You will remain on the payroll until the date noted in your severance package,” she added
Reason
Business is down by more than half
Explaining the reason for the sudden mass layoff, Chaveleau said, “Our rides business is down by more than half. There is not enough work for many frontline customer support employees.”
The impact is the direct result of the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, which has led to lockdowns around the world, bringing the cab-sharing business to a complete halt.

Impact
Global workforce reduced by 14%
In a regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Uber confirmed that it is laying off 3,700 or about 14% of its global workforce to reduce operating expenses in the wake of the economic uncertainty stemming from COVID-19.
“Our size will have to be rationalized based on the business needs,” Chaveleau said on the call.

Mumbai:The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday issued a notice to Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to hand over some facilities of Wankhede Stadium to the civic body for use as coronavirus COVID-19 quarantine area.
The letter, issued by Assistant Municipal Commissioner of ‘A’ ward Chanda Jadhav, asks that the “hotel / lodge / clubs / college / exhibition centres / dormitories / marriage hall / gymkhana / banquet hall” be handed over “with immediate effect”.
“The said premises will be used for emergency staff of ‘A’ Ward and quarantine the person whoever is in contact with a positive COVID-19 patient and are not symptomatic,” the letter informed.
The BMC said the use of facilities was temporary and payments for the same would be done at a later date.
The complex at Wankhede comprises BCCI office, MCA Lounge, Garware Club House apart from the main stadium.
Earlier, quarantine and isolation facilities were set up at the Worli-based National Sport Club of India’s indoor stadium.
Meanwhile, Mumbai remains the country’s worst affected city with 17,512 COVID-19 cases.

India 16th May 2020:The coronavirus case count in India has crossed the 85,000-mark with the death toll nearing 2,700. As per the Ministry of Health data, the total number of cases stood at 85,940 which includes 53,035 active cases, 30,152 cured/discharged cases, 1 migrant patient.
As the crowd of migrant still continue to struggle to return back home, the Centre on Friday asked the states to ensure that the migrant workers board the special trains and don’t have to walk back to their native places, amid the coronavirus COVID-19 lockdown, as it is running buses and over 100 ‘Shramik’ specials daily to facilitate their journey. In an official statement, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has asserted that the people need to be made aware of these arrangments and counseled by the states to not travel on foot.
Meanwhile, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar and Karnataka breached the 1,000-mark in terms of the number of people having tested positive, while testing and containment measures were ramped up in places like, Kerala, Goa and Manipur that were being seen as being mostly virus-free till a few days back.
India is now the 11th most affected nation in the world, but each one of the top-ten have one lakh or more cases. The US tops the charts with more than 14 lakh cases, followed by Russia, UK, Spain, Italy and Brazil with over 2 lakh cases each; and France, Germany, Turkey and Iran having over 1 lakh cases each.

दुहेरी उद्देश
कोरोनाचा प्रादुर्भाव होऊ नये म्हणून जनजागरण करण्यासोबतच नवनवीन कलावंताच्या सुप्त गुणांना वाव देण्याचा उद्देशही या स्पर्धेमागे असल्याचे डॉ. उपाध्याय यांनी म्हटले आहे.
नागपूर : पावसाळ्यात उद्भवणाऱ्या आपत्तींसंदर्भात दक्ष राहणे गरजेचे आहे. कोरोनामुळे नागरिकांना अनेक त्रास सहन करावे लागत आहेत. अशात लवकरच सुरू होणाऱ्या पावसाळ्यामध्ये अधिक काळजी घेणे आवश्यक आहे. नागरिकांच्या सुविधेसाठी दहाही झोनमध्ये नियंत्रण कक्ष स्थापन करण्यात करून २४ तास चमू तत्पर असायला हवी. याबाबतचा आराखडा तयार करून त्या दृष्टीने कारवाई होणे गरजेचे आहे. यासाठी मनपाच्या प्रत्येक अधिकाऱ्याने येणाऱ्या कोणत्याही आपात्कालीन परिस्थितीचा सामना करण्यासाठी सज्ज राहावे, असे निर्देश आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी शुक्रवारी दिले.
मनपाच्या छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज प्रशासकीय इमारतीतील आयुक्त कक्षामध्ये नैसर्गिक आपत्ती मान्सूनपूर्व तयारी आढावा बैठक घेण्यात आली. बैठकीत आयुक्तांनी संबंधित विभागाद्वारे करण्यात येणाºया तयारीचा आढावा घेतला. मनपा मुख्यालयातील आपात्कालीन कक्षाचे नियोजन, झोन स्तरावरील नियंत्रण कक्ष, नदी व नाले सफाई संदर्भातील कारवाई, स्ट्रॉम वॉटर ड्रेन, इमारतींचे बेसमेंट, मेनहोलवरील झाकण, जीर्ण व अतिजीर्ण घरांबाबत कार्यवाही, नदी व नाल्याच्या काठावरील अतिक्रमण, पाणी उपसण्याकरिता उपलब्ध पम्प, आपात्कालीन परिस्थितीत समाज भवन व मनपा शाळांची उपलब्धता, अग्निशमन विभागाची पूर्वतयारी या विषयांवर चर्चा करून तयारीचा यावेळी आयुक्तांनी आढावा घेतला.

आपात्कालीन परिस्थिती निर्माण झाल्यास त्या भागात कोणत्याही प्रकारे मनपाची सेवा खंडित होऊ नये याची कटाक्षाने काळजी घेणे आवश्यक आहे. सेवा खंडित झाल्यास ती तात्काळ सुरू करून पुढे अविरत सुरू राहावी यासाठी आपत्ती व्यवस्थापनचे नियोजन तयार असावे. मनपा मुख्यालयासह दहाही झोनमध्ये नियंत्रण कक्ष उभारण्यात येणार आाहे. तासाठी इन्स्टंट रिस्पॉन्स टीम तयार करण्यात यावी. याशिवाय शहरातील जीर्ण घरे व इमारतींची यादी तयार करून त्यावर शासन निर्णयाप्रमाणे कारवाई करण्यात यावी. तसेच शहराच्या नदीच्या आजूबाजूच्या खोल परिसरात असलेले अतिक्रमण काढण्याबाबतही कार्यवाही करा, असे निर्देश मुंढे यांनी दिले.
मायक्रो लेव्हल प्लॅन तयार करा
पावसाळ्यापूर्वी खोल भागातील जलवाहिनी, सिवर लाईन, ट्रंक लाईन या सर्वांची स्वच्छता होणे अत्यावश्यक आहे. शहरातून वाहणाºया नाल्यांची सविस्तर माहिती काढून जास्त पाऊस आल्यास नाल्याशी संबंधित कोणता भाग जास्त बाधित होऊ शकतो, याचा अभ्यास करून आधीच त्यावर काय उपाययोजना करता येतील, याचाही मायक्रो लेव्हल प्लॅन तयार करण्याचेही निर्देश आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी दिले.
New Delhi:The World Bank on Friday approved USD 1 billion ‘Accelerating India’s COVID-19 Social Protection Response Program’ to support the country’s efforts for providing social assistance to the poor and vulnerable households, severely impacted by the pandemic.
This takes the total commitment from the World Bank towards emergency COVID-19 response in India to USD 2 billion.
A USD 1 billion support was announced last month to support India’s health sector.
The response to the COVID-19 pandemic around the world has required governments around the world to introduce social distancing and lockdowns in unprecedented ways, said Junaid Ahmad, World Bank Country Director in India in a webinar interaction with the media.
These measures, intended to contain the spread of the virus have, however, impacted economies and jobs especially in the informal sector. India with the world’s largest lockdown has not been an exception to this trend, he said.
Of the USD 1 billion commitment, USD 550 million will be financed by a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) the World Bank’s concessionary lending arm and USD 200 million will be a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), with a final maturity of 18.5 years including a grace period of five years.
The remaining USD 250 million will be made available after June 30, 2020.
नवी दिल्ली :केंद्रीय शिक्षण मंडळाच्या (सीबीएसई) १० आणि १२ वीच्या उरलेल्या विषयांची परीक्षा १ ते १५ जून दरम्यान होणार आहे. दरम्यान, केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षण मंडळाच्या १० वी १२ वीच्या परीक्षांच्या उत्तरपत्रिका तपासण्याचे काम जोरदार सुरु आहे.येत्या ५० दिवसात ते पूर्ण होईल, असे केंद्रीय मनुष्यबळ विकास मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक यांनी सांगितले.
शिक्षकांबरोबर एका वेबिनारमधे ते बोलत होते. त्यावेळी ते बोलत होते. सीबीएसईच्या १० आणि १२ वीच्या परीक्षांचे निकाल ५० दिवसात जाहीर होणार, असे संकेत त्यांनी यावेळी दिलेत. उत्तरपत्रिका तपासून झाल्या की ताबडतोब मंडळाच्या संकेतस्थळावर निकाल जाहीर करु, असे ते म्हणालेत.
कोरोना विषाणूबाबतची परिस्थिती सामान्य झाली की मगच शाळा उघडतील आणि शाळेत सोशल डिस्टन्सिंगचे पालन करणे बंधनकारक राहील, असेही त्यांनी एका प्रश्नाच्या उत्तरात सांगितले. यासंदर्भात NCERT चे कृतीदल विद्यापीठ अनुदान आयोगाच्या देखरेखीखाली दिशानिर्देश तयार करत आहे अशी माहिती त्यांनी दिली.
तसेच नवीन शैक्षणिक धोरण वैज्ञानिक वृत्ती आणि संशोधनाचा पाया घालणारे असेल, असे सांगत ते म्हणालेत ९ वी आणि ११ वीच्या परीक्षांमध्ये यंदा अनुत्तीर्ण झालेल्यांना पुन्हा एकदा शाळेची परीक्षा देऊन उत्तीर्ण होण्याची संधी सीबीएसईने दिली आहे. ८ वी पर्यंतच्या विद्यार्थ्यांना यापूर्वीच कुठल्याही परीक्षेशिवाय पुढच्या वर्गात पाठविण्यात आले आहे, असे त्यांनी यावेळी स्पष्ट केले.
नागपूर :नागपूर महापालिकेची आरोग्य व्यवस्था सक्षम करण्याच्या दृष्टीने महापालिकेचे दवाखाने विकसित करण्याची बाब जिल्हा प्रशासनाच्या विचाराधीन होती. या कामासाठी सुमारे १ कोटी ९० लक्ष एवढ्या निधीची आवश्यकता होती. कोविड-१९ च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर, पालकमंत्री नितीन राऊत यांनी हा निधी महापालिकेस देण्यास मंजुरी प्रदान केली आहे.
त्यामुळे आता महापालिकेचा पाचपावली दवाखाना, सदर दवाखाना, केटी नगर दवाखाना, इमामवाडा विलगीकरण केंद्र, इंदिरा गांधी रुग्णालय असे एकूण पाच दवाखाने विकसित करण्यात येणार आहे. विशेष म्हणजे, स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थेच्या दवाखान्यांना जिल्हा वार्षिक योजनेतून निधी उपलब्ध करून देण्यासाठी कोणतीही योजना अस्तित्वात नव्हती. परंतु २८ एप्रिल २०२० रोजी महाराष्ट्र शासनाच्या नियोजन विभागाने निर्गमित केलेल्या शासन निर्णयानुसार कोविड-१९ प्रादुर्भावावरील अनुज्ञेय उपाय योजनांकरिता राज्य शासन व स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थांच्या सर्व आरोग्य संस्थांकरिता सन २०२०-२१ या आर्थिक वर्षात मंजुरी देण्याची तरतूद करण्यात आली आहे. या आर्थिक मंजुरीमुळे, नागपुरातील नागरिकांना महानगरपालिकेच्या रुग्णालयात अधिक चांगल्या सुविधा उपलब्ध होण्यास मोठा हातभार लागणार आहे.
New Delhi : The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is doing everything possible to restore cricket. The BCCI wants to start an isolation camp for players, support staff and others, for which the board is looking for a safe zone. The BCCI wants someone to meet the government in a safe place, where players sitting in their homes for two months have a chance to train.
The National Cricket Academy (NCA) of Bengaluru has all the facilities for training, but there is a considerable outbreak of corona virus. In such a situation, the board’s idea is to provide a quarantine and sanitized environment for the players, coaching staff and others including catering, security and housekeeping. The BCCI is also considering other alternative locations, which would be considered ‘safe’ by the central government.
A BCCI official has told the Times of India, “The safety of the players is the priority of the board. We have to work on the logistics and see if Bengaluru is safe. If things don’t look right at all, we will be in those areas of the country.” Looking for those who are outside the containment zone. The camp will be sanitized. There is also an option to open a local stadium for senior players “
The official further added, “Players, team management and cricket operations teams are in constant touch to deal with every issue.” Everyone will be selected for the camp, from players to general staff will have to fulfill the health conditions and will not have to go out of the camp area. However, from the point of view, it is difficult to organize a camp in the near future. This may take more than a month and will depend on the exemption given by the government after 18 May.
मुंबई :अमेरिकेने चीन विरूद्ध सर्वात मोठ असं आक्रमक रुप धारण केलं आहे. अमेरिकेत वाढत्या कोरोनाच्या प्रादुर्भावाला चीनलाच जबाबदार धरलं आहे. अमेरिकेचे राष्ट्रपती डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प यांनी जगभरात कोरोना पसरल्यामुळे चीनशी सर्व संबंध तोडण्याची धमकी दिली आहे. जगभरात तीन लाख लोकांचा कोरोनामुळे मृत्यू झाला असून यामध्ये ८०,००० अमेरिकेतील नागरिकांचा समावेश आहे.
संबंध तोडण्याची दिली धमकी
ट्रम्पने फॉक्स बिझनेस न्यूजला दिलेल्या मुलाखतीत, ‘अनेक गोष्टी आहेत ज्या आम्ही करू शकतो. आम्ही सर्व संबंध तोडू शकतो.’ गेल्या अनेक दिवसांपासून राष्ट्रपती चीनच्या विरोधात कारवाई करण्यासाठी दबाव टाकत आहेत. खासदार आणि तज्ज्ञांची असं म्हणणं आहे की, चीनच्या निष्क्रियतेमुळे वुहानमधील कोरोना जगभर पसरला.
एका प्रश्नाचं उत्तर देताना ट्रम्प म्हणाले की,सध्या ते चीनी राष्ट्रपती शी चिनफिंगसोबत सध्या कोणतीच चर्चा करू इच्छित नाही. महत्वाचं म्हणजे ट्रम्प यांची चिनफिंगसोबत खूप चांगले संबंध आहे. पुढे ते म्हणतात की,चीनने त्यांना निराश केला आहे. तसेच अमेरिकेने चीनला अनेकदा कोरोनाच्या चाचणीकरता वुहानच्या प्रयोगशाळेत जाण्याची परवानगी द्यावी. मात्र त्यांनी ती नाकारली.
तसेच अमेरिका सरकारने कोरोना व्हायरसवरील वॅक्सीन शोधण्यास वैश्विक युतीचा हिस्सा न होण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. कोरोना व्हायरसशी लढण्यासाठी अमेरिका स्वतः वॅक्सीन शोधत आहे. ट्रम्प सरकारने ‘अमेरिका फस्ट’ असा दावा केला आहे. यामुळे विश्वात कोरोनाशी लढण्यासाठी वॅक्सिन तयार करण्यात अडचणी निर्माण होत आहेत.
ब्रिटन, चीन, कनाडा, तुर्की, सऊदी अरब, जपानसह अनेक देशांनी जागतिक आरोग्य संघटना, गेट्स फाऊंडेशन आणि युरोपिअन कमिशनसोबत एकत्र येऊन वॅक्सीनवर काम करण्यासाठी वर्चुअल ग्लोबल समिटचं आयोजन केलं होतं. मात्र अमेरिकेकडून कुणीही यामध्ये सहभागी झालं नाही. या समेट दरम्यान वॅक्सीनकरता ८ बिलियन डॉलर फंड जमा करण्यात आला.
मुंबई, 14 मे :महाराष्ट्रात कोरोना संसर्ग (Coronavirus) वाढत आहे. अशातच मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे (Udhhav Thackray) सरकारने राज्यातील काही जिल्ह्यांत 31 मेपर्यंत लॉकडाऊन वाढविण्याचे संकेत दिले आहेत.
महाराष्ट्रातील मुंबई, ठाणे आणि इतर काही जिल्ह्यांमध्ये कोरोना रुग्णांची संख्या झपाट्याने वाढत आहे. महाराष्ट्र सरकारने गुरुवारी मुंबई महानगर क्षेत्र, पुणे, सोलापूर, औरंगाबाद, मालेगाव येथे 31 मेपर्यंत लॉकडाऊन वाढविण्याचा विचार व्यक्त केला आहे. हे भाग कोरोनामुळे अत्यंत प्रभावित झाले आहेत.
एका वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार गुरुवारी मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली झालेल्या बैठकीत या ठिकाणांवर प्रतिबंध वाढविण्यासदंर्भात चर्चा झाली. अधिकाऱ्यांनी सांगितले की, सरकारने 31 मेपर्यंत मुंबई एमएमआर, पुणे, सोलापूर, औरंगाबाद आणि नाशिक जिल्ह्यातील मालेगाव शहरात लॉकडाऊन वाढविण्याची शक्यता व्यक्त केली आहे. लवकरच राज्याचा विचार केंद्राला लिखित स्वरुपात दिला जाणार आहे.
17 मेपर्यंत लॉकडाऊन 3.0
त्यांनी सांगितले की राज्यातील इतर भागांमध्ये 17 मेपर्यंत लॉकडाऊन 3.0 संपण्यापूर्वी केंद्राद्वारा घोषित केल्या जाणाऱ्या दिशानिर्देशांना लागू करण्यात येईल. उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार, जल संसाधन मंत्री जयंत पाटील, शहर विकास मंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, उद्योग मंत्री सुभाष देसाई आणि इतर मंत्र्यांच्या उपस्थितीत बैठक पार पडली.
बुधवारी रात्रीपर्यंत महाराष्ट्रात कोरोनाचे 25,922 रुग्णसंख्या होती. ज्यामध्ये 975 जणांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. मुंबईत कोरोनाचे 15,747 रुग्ण असून 596 जणांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. कोरोनावर नियंत्रण आणण्यासाठी राज्य सरकारकडून पुरेपूर प्रयत्न केले जात आहे. अनेक जिल्ह्यांमध्ये कोरोना रुग्णालय आणि क्वारंटाइन सेंटर्स उभारण्यात आले आहेत. येत्या काळात रुग्णसंख्या वाढू नये असा प्रयत्न आहे. ही पूर्वतयारी असल्याचे सांगितले जात आहे.
नागपूर, ता. १४ :कोरोनाच्या संकटात कुणीही उपाशी राहू नये यासाठी मनपाच्या सेवा कार्याला अनेकांची साथ मिळत आहे. कुणी ‘कम्युनिटी किचन’मधून जेवण पुरवित आहे तर कुणी जेवणाची सामुग्री पुरवून मनपाचे हात बळकट करत आहेत. या सेवा कार्याला आता क्रीडा क्षेत्रातील व्यक्तींनीही सहकार्य दर्शविले आहे. १३०० किमीची सलग ४८ तास इनडोअर सायकलिंग करून डॉ.अमित समर्थ यांनी या उपक्रमाच्या माध्यमातून प्राप्त झालेले दोन लाख रुपये सेवा कार्यासाठी दिले आहेत. यामधील निधीचा धनादेश त्यांनी गुरूवारी (ता.१४) मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांच्याकडे सुपूर्द केला. यावेळी अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम जोशी, नगरसेविका डॉ.परिणीता फुके, मैत्री परिवार संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष प्रा.संजय भेंडे, सचिव प्रा. प्रमोद पेंडके प्रामुख्याने उपस्थित होते.
प्रो-हेल्थ फाऊंडेशनचे संस्थापक आणि माईल्स एन माईलर्स एड्युरन्स स्पोर्ट्स अकादमीचे संचालक डॉ.अमित समर्थ मनपाच्या स्वच्छ भारत अभियानाचे ब्रँड ॲम्बेसॅडर आहेत. जगातील अनेक कठीण शर्यत पूर्ण करण्याचा विक्रम त्यांच्या नावावर आहे. कोरोनाच्या संकटकाळातही त्यांनी आपल्या विक्रमी कामगिरीद्वारे साथ दिली आहे. डॉ. समर्थ यांनी ४८ तास ‘नॉनस्टॉप’ इनडोअर सायकल चालवून १३०० किमी अंतर पूर्ण केले. घरीच ‘ट्रेनर’ आणि ‘ॲप’च्या माध्यमातून ‘व्हर्च्यूअल’ पद्धतीचा उपयोग करून त्यांनी सायकल चालविली. त्यांच्या या इव्हेन्टचे फेसबुक लाइव्ह करण्यात आले. यावेळी त्यांनी कोरोनाबाबत जनजागृतीचा संदेशही दिला. या उपक्रमाच्या माध्यमातून त्यांच्याकडे दोन लाख रुपयांचा निधी जमा झाला. या निधीपैकी काही भाग त्यांनी महाराष्ट्र पोलिसांतर्फे करण्यात येत असलेल्या सेवा कार्याला दिला. मनपाच्या सेवा कार्यालाही सहकार्य करण्याची इच्छा त्यांनी नगरसेविका डॉ.परिणीता फुके यांच्याकडे व्यक्त केली व त्यांच्या माध्यमातून त्यांनी उर्वरित रक्कम मनपाच्या माध्यमातून चालविण्यात येत असलेल्या ‘कम्युनिटी किचन’साठी दिली आहे. डॉ. अमित समर्थ यांनी मैत्री परिवार, सीएजी आणि मल्हार फाउंडेशनला त्यांनी या माध्यमातून मदत केली.
मैत्री परिवाराच्या माध्यमातून दररोज पाच हजारावर ‘फूड पॅकेट्स’चे वितरण
लॉकडाउनमध्ये नागपूर शहरात कुणीही उपाशी राहू नये यासाठी गरजू, बेघरांना अन्नपुरवठ्यासाठी मनपाने पुढाकार घेताच शहरातील अनेक स्वयंसेवी संस्थांनी त्याला सहकार्य दर्शविले. मनपाच्या सहकार्याने शहरात २७ ‘कम्युनिटी किचन’ सुरू आहेत. तर ५०च्या वर स्वयंसेवी संस्था, सेवाभावी लोक नागरिकांची जेवणाची व्यवस्था करण्यासाठी कार्य करत आहेत. या सर्व कार्यामध्ये मैत्री परिवार संस्थेने घेतलेले सेवा कार्याचे व्रत आजही अविरत सुरू आहे. सर्वसामान्य, गरीब, गरजू, बेघर, निराधारांच्या मदतीसाठी संस्थेने मैत्रीचा सेतू निर्माण केला आहे.
शहरात लॉकडाउन जाहीर होताच २७ मार्चपासून मैत्री परिवार संस्थेद्वारे दररोज गरजूंपर्यंत जेवणाचे डबे पोहोचविले जात आहेत. सुरूवातीला संस्थेच्या सुरेंद्रनगर येथील छात्रावासातून हे डबे पुरविण्यात येत होते. मात्र गरजूंची वाढती संख्या लक्षात घेता कुणीही उपाशी राहू नये या हेतूने धरमपेठ येथील वझलवार लॉन येथेही एक किचन सुरू करण्यात आली. त्यानंतर अत्रे लेआउटमधील राजेश्वरी मंदिर परिसरात तिसरे किचन सुरू करण्यात आले. सुरूवातीला सुरेंद्रनगर आणि वझलवार लॉन येथील किचनमधून प्रत्येकी एक हजार तर अत्रे लेआउटमधील किचनमधून पाचशे जेवणाचे डबे तयार करून वितरीत करण्यात येत होते. आज वाढत्या गरजेनुसार ही संख्या दररोज वाढतच आहे. आजघडीला आजघडीला दररोज पाच हजारावर ‘फूड पॅकेट्स’चे वितरण केले जात आहे. या अखंड सेवाकार्यासाठी संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष प्रा. संजय भेंडे, सचिव प्रा.प्रमोद पेंडके यांच्यासह संपूर्ण चमू अहोरात्र कार्य करीत आहे. मैत्री परिवार संस्थेच्या या उपक्रमामध्ये दोनशेच्या वर स्वयंसेवक सेवा देत आहेत.
नागपूर,ता.१४: कोरोनामुळे लॉकडाउन वाढविण्यात आले आहे. चौथ्या लॉकडाउनमध्ये शहरामध्ये अनेक बाबतीत काही अंशी शिथिलता प्रदान करण्यात आली आहे. मात्र या आदेशात ‘कन्टेमेंट झोन’ आणि ‘कन्टेमेंट एरिया’मध्ये देण्यात आलेल्या सुविधांमध्ये विरोधाभास दिसून आहे. त्यामुळे या आदेशाचे पुनर्विलोकन करून त्यामध्ये सुधारणा करण्यात यावी, अशी मागणी मनपाचे विधी समिती सभापती ॲड.धर्मपाल मेश्राम यांनी पत्राद्वारे मनपा आयुक्त आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांना केली आहे.
नागपूर शहरात अत्यावश्यक सेवा वगळता अन्य सेवा व आस्थापना सुरू करण्याबाबत बुधवारी (ता.१४) मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी आदेश जारी केले. या आदेशानुसार ऑनलाईन मद्यविक्री, बांधकाम, आयटी कार्यासाठी आवश्यक हार्डवेअर आणि पॅकेजिंग साहित्याचे उत्पादन, इलेक्ट्रिक सामुग्रीची दुकाने, हार्डवेअर आणि बिल्डिंग मटेरिअल, ऑटो स्पेअर्स आणि रिपेअर शॉप, टायर शॉप, ऑईल आणि लुब्रिकेन्ट्स शॉप, ऑप्टिकल, स्टेशनरी आणि होजियारी शॉप, ई-कॉमर्स (जीवनावश्यक वस्तू, औषधी आणि उपकरणे यासह १५ टक्के उपस्थितीत खासगी कार्यालये तसेच ३३ टक्के उपस्थितीत सर्व शासकीय कार्यालय सुरू करण्याचे नमूद करण्यात आले आहे.
आदेशामध्ये प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्रामध्ये ऑनलाईन मद्यविक्री सुरू राहणार नसल्याचे स्पष्ट करण्यात आले आहे. शहरात ज्या भागातील कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह रुग्ण आढळतो तो संपूर्ण परिसर प्रतिबंधित करून सील करण्यात येतो. या भागात कुणालाही बाहेर निघण्यास व आत येण्यास परवानगी नाही. त्यामुळे या भागात म्हणजे ‘कन्टेमेंट एरिया’मध्ये ऑनलाईन मद्यविक्री वगळता अन्य अत्यावश्यक सेवा देण्याची परवानगी देण्यात आली आहे. रुग्ण आढळलेला ठराविक परिसर वगळता अन्य ठिकाणी मात्र ही सेवा दिली जाईल, असे या आदेशावरून निदर्शनास येत आहे.
मात्र याउलट १५ टक्के उपस्थितीत खाजगी कार्यालय सुरू करण्याला ‘कन्टेमेंट झोन’मध्ये परवानगी नाकारण्यात आली आहे. शहरात चार ‘कन्टेमेंट झोन’ घोषित करण्यात आले आहेत. नव्या आदेशानुसार या चार झोनमध्ये कोणतेही खाजगी कार्यालय सुरू होणार नाहीत. एकीकडे ठराविक छोटासा परिसर वगळता अन्य ठिकाणी ऑनलाईन मद्यविक्रीला परवानगी देण्यात येत आहे. तर दुसरीकडे संपूर्ण झोनमध्येच खाजगी कार्यालये बंदच ठेवण्यात येत आहेत. हा विरोधाभास असून यामुळे सर्वसामान्य खाजगी नोकरदारांची वाताहत होणार आहे. त्यामुळे या आदेशाचे पुनर्विलोकन करून त्यात सुधारणा करण्यात यावी, अशीही मागणी विधी समिती सभापती ॲड. धर्मपाल मेश्राम यांनी आयुक्तांना पत्राद्वारे केली आहे.

Amid the rising coronavirus COVID-19 cases across the world, World Health Organisation (WHO) executive director Michael J Ryan on Wednesday (May 13) said the coronavirus may never go away and it could become just another virus like HIV infection.
“This virus just may become another endemic virus in our communities and this virus may never go away. HIV has not gone away,” Dr Ryan was quoted as saying by CNN.
“I am not comparing the two diseases but I think it is important that we are realistic. I do not think anyone can predict when or if this disease will disappear,” Ryan added.
The WHO official asserted that easing of coronavirus lockdowns while the number of fresh cases are increasing with each passing day could lead to the renewed massive transmission of the virus and force the governments to impose another lockdown to curb the spread of highly contagious viral disease.
“If you can get the day-to-day number to the lowest possible level and get as much virus out of the community as possible, then when you open, you will tend to have less transmission or much less risk. If you reopen in the presence of a high degree of virus transmission, then that transmission may accelerate,” Ryan was quoted as saying by Sputnik.
Referring to the incidences of attacks on ethnic minorities in certain countries over COVID-19, Ryan said that coronavirus is bringing the “best in us and also some of the worst in us.”
On the issue of vaccine, he added, “we may have a shot at eliminating this virus but that vaccine will have to be available, it will have to be highly effective, it will have to be made available to everyone and we’ll have to use it.”
The coronavirus pandemic has now infected close to 44 lakh people globally with taking more than 2.95 lakh lives by Wednesday (May 13, 2020) evening.
According to the Worldometers website, there are around 43,97,000 coronavirus confirmed cases in the world at the time of filing this report. Over 2,95,870 people have died due to the virus that was first reported in December 2019 in China.
India 2020: The Aarogya Setu app could become the key facilitator for travel in India, as the Government of India is working on whether the app can be used to facilitate interstate travel. This comes just after the Indian Railways made it mandatory for all passengers on trains to have the government’s Aarogya Setu app installed on their phones. Government sources told that for interstate travel and movement, the Aarogya Setu app could be used for self-certification, following which the e-pass will be confirmed.
It is believed that once the lockdown is over in individual states, there may be a centralized e-pass which will be issued after self-validation using the Aarogya Setu app. However, it is not confirmed yet whether this will include all types of personal travel or will focus instead on modes of transport such as trains and interstate buses. It is also not confirmed yet how movement of commercial goods will be impacted by this.
Government sources also say that strict legal provisions could also be in place, which would mean false or incorrect declarations on the Aarogya Setu app could land individuals in jail. It is believed that the Government will discuss the plans with all stakeholders soon.
Ahead of the special train services which started earlier this week, the Indian Railways made it mandatory for all passengers to have verified their declarations on the Aarogya Setu app before boarding. “Indian Railways is going to start few passenger train services. It is mandatory for passengers to download Aarogya Setu app in their mobile phones, before commencing their journey,” the Indian Railways had said in a tweet at the time. Tickets can only be booked via the IRCTC website. It is also mandatory to use the Aarogya Setu app if you live in or travel to the city of Noida, where being outdoors without the app installed on your phone, is a crime. It is expected that airlines will also make it mandatory for passengers to self-certify via the Aarogya Setu app before they board a flight.
Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given the first hints that the Aarogya Setu app could be used to facilitate travel within the country.
India, May 2020 :In a significant development, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday (May 14) instructed that no classified information shall be handled through e-office, which means classified files shall not be processed in e-office during work from home.
It is learnt that the state-run National Informatics Centre (NIC) would evaluate the existing security protocol for remote access of classified file/ information in consultation with MHA and propose suitable guidelines and standard operating procedures for handling classified information in e-office. Till the time classified files shall be processed on standalone computers only.
Notably, about 75 Ministries/ Departments are actively using e -office platform currently and 57 Ministries/ Departments have achieved more than 80% of their work in e-office.
The officers to whom official laptops are provided shall ensure that they do the official work in official device only, MHA instructed.
NIC shall ensure that their devices are well protected against malware and malicious websites. The officers who are working on their personal computers/laptops have been asked to ensure installing regular updates, running antivirus scans, blocking malicious sites, etc with the help of NIC to ensure safety of their device against information theft.
Officers who are working from home shall be available on phone as per requirements and directions of their officers.
