But Dev Sahab felt that my character should wear shades and have a hippie look since the song is being shot around hippies as well. She should also be carefree and not really bothered with anything and be very bindaas. So, we basically collaborated to finalize this iconic look for the song.”

Mumbai : The General Assembly of the World LPG Association (WLPGA) unanimously passed a resolution to elect Mr S M Vaidya, Chairman, IndianOil, as its President during the ongoing World LPG Forum 2021 in Dubai.
Headquartered in Paris, WLPGA represents the global LPG network of 300+ members operating in more than 125 countries. The association’s primary aim is to add value to the sector by driving premium demand for LPG while promoting sound business and safety practices. The WLPGA team is supported and assisted by the Board of Directors and the Industry Council. The WLPGA Board comprises a President, a First Vice-President, a Treasurer, three Vice-Presidents and up to five other Board members. IndianOil is an ‘A’ category member of the World LP Gas Association (Criteria: Annual LPG Sales volume > 700 TMT) and also an Industry Council member.

The World Gold Council today launched a report titled ‘Bullion Trade in India’, as part of a series of in-depth analysis on the Indian gold market.
The report highlights how, with very little mining and modest levels of recycling, India is heavily reliant on bullion imports to meet its domestic demand. Indian official imports have continued to grow despite high import duty, with official imports averaging 760t since the first duty hike in 2012. The higher import duty has led to increase in unofficial imports with the east/north-east and south states acting as main channels for gold smuggling. Gold smuggling also have shifted away from sea in favour of air and land routes. The last decade witnessed an increase in doré shipments due to lower duty applicable on it.
Somasundaram PR, Regional CEO, India, World Gold Council, commented; “As the second largest global market, Indian gold demand is heavily dependent on bullion and dore’ imports. Bullion industry has developed over the last 3 decades in India with significant addition to organised refining capacity and an LBMA accredited refinery. Challenges remain, however, on dore’ sourcing and organised trading which act as barriers to a more active role for banks and bullion trade in global trading and price setting. High taxes on bullion continue to be a strong incentive for the grey markets that constantly undermine all reforms to make gold liquid and mainstream. There are significant opportunities to emerge as a global bullion trading hub through the international gold spot exchange (IIBX) with a thriving domestic bullion eco-system underpinned by globally recognised standards and infrastructure.
Key highlights of the report:
Indian official imports
• Over the five-year period 2016-2020, imports made up 86% of India’s gold supply, while recycling accounted for 13% and mining accounted for just 1%.
• Since the first duty hike in 2012, India has imported some 6,581t of gold, averaging 730t per annum.
• Higher gold imports can have a negative impact on the country’s balance of trade and have, at times, led the government to implement measures to try to curb gold imports
Gold trading volumes
• In 2020, the average daily trading volumes on futures and spot exchanges was US$69.3bn, with gold ETFs generating average trading volumes of US$3.3bn.
• India’s contribution to these was just US$1.2bn and US$3.4mn respectively.
Gold Doré imports
One important change that has taken place in India’s gold market is the growth in gold doré imports. The increase in doré imports reflects the government’s accommodative stance towards gold refining.
• In the last five years, gold doré imports made up 30% of total official gold imports.
• The duty benefits also led to a massive expansion of refining capacity in India, with the number of refineries growing from three in 2012 to 32 in 2020.
• Currently, some 25-26 refineries are active, with a combined refining capacity of 1,200- 1,400t.
• Of these, 23 refineries imported doré in 2020 and the top five refineries accounted for more than 70% of India’s doré imports.
• With lower duty on gold doré, the share of gold imports has increased from 11% in 2014 to 29% in 2020.
Official import trends
• In 2020, India imported 377t of gold bars and doré from over 30 countries – 55% of the imports came from just two countries – Switzerland (44%) and the UAE (11%)
• As doré imports have grown, refineries have become far more prominent importers, achieving a 29% share of India’s official imports in 2020.
• With bullion banks like Nova Scotia exiting their precious metals business and many large bullion dealers (previously clients of the banks) setting up their own refineries, banks’ share of official imports shrunk from 40% in 2017 to 19% in 2020 as the business shifted to refineries.
• About two-thirds of imported gold is in the form of 995 cast kilobars or 100g bars. 999 purity bars account for much of the remaining one-third of imports.
• Over the last few years, 100g bars have gained in popularity, with increased demand from small dealers or manufacturers.
Key Import locations
• Gold officially shipped into India comes via air into 11 cities. In addition to these cities, gold is also imported in Sri City FTWZ, located in the town of Satyavedu in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
• In 2020, 84% of imports came through airports located in North and South India, with the remaining 16% coming through airports in West and East India.
Bullion banking in India
Bullion banking is a catalyst for change in India’s gold market landscape. India’s gold market faces multiple challenges, such as a lack of quality assurance, the unorganised state of the market and a lack of trust in international markets. Bullion banking is one of the key pillars to address these challenges and help establish India’s position among leading global and regional markets.
• Greater access to the bullion market for banks and other financial institutions: Banks could have greater access to the bullion market, including gold spot and derivatives trading. Banks could be encouraged to pursue product innovation and attract retail participation in the bullion market. With bullion banking, insurance companies could offer gold and gold futures products to customers
• Boosting essential policy reforms: Bullion banks can make a meaningful contribution to other gold-related reforms:
They can boost participation in the gold spot exchange by acting as clearing and trading members, and liquidity providers
They can boost participation in the gold monetisation scheme through increased mobilisation of gold from the public
They can help establish the assaying infrastructure that is a prerequisite for an organised gold market
• Increased liquidity for bullion trade: The set-up of bullion banking could increase liquidity for bullion trade through:
Inter-bank lending and borrowing in both the local and the global bullion markets
Central bank lending bullion to commercial banks and other entities.

नवी दिल्ली : भारतीय लष्कराच्या सामर्थ्याला धक्का देणारी आज (ता.०८) घटना घडली आहे. देशाचे पहिले आणि सध्याचे तिन्ही लष्करी दलाचे प्रमुख (चीफ ऑफ डिफेन्स स्टाफ) जनरल बिपीन रावत यांचे हेलिकॉप्टर अपघातात निधन झाले. या अपघातात त्यांच्या पत्नीचाही अंत झाला आहे. या दोघांसह ११ जणांचा मृत्यू झाला.
तामिळनाडू राज्यातील कोईम्बतूर आणि सुलूर दरम्यान कुन्नूर येथे हा अपघात झाला. चीफ ऑफ डिफेन्स स्टाफ (CDS) जनरल बिपिन रावत, त्यांची पत्नी मधुलिका रावत अपघातग्रस्त हवाई दलाच्या Mi17-V5 या हेलिकॉप्टरमध्ये होते.
अपघातग्रस्त हेलिकॉप्टरमध्ये एकूण नऊ जण होते.
अपघातग्रस्त हेलिकॉप्टरमध्ये सीडीएस बिपिन रावत, त्यांची पत्नी मधुलिका रावत, ब्रिगेडियर एलएस लिडर, लेफ्टनंट कर्नल हरजिंदर सिंग, एनके गुरसेवक सिंग, एनके जितेंद्र कुमार, एल/एनके विवेक कुमार, एल/एनके बी साई तेजा, हवालदार सतपाल हे हेलिकॉप्टरमध्ये होते.
सीडीएस जनरल बिपिन रावत आणि त्यांची पत्नी एका कार्यक्रमात सहभागी होऊन दिल्लीला परतत होते. त्यानंतर हवाई दलाचे Mi17-V5 हेलिकॉप्टर निलगिरीच्या जंगलात कोसळले.
कॅमल वेलिंग्टन, ऊटी येथे त्यांचा व्याख्यानाचा कार्यक्रम आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. तेथे सीडीएस जनरल बिपीन रावत व्याख्यान देऊन परतत असताना अपघात झाला. कॅमल वेलिंग्टनमध्ये सशस्त्र दलाचे महाविद्यालय आहे.
बिपिन रावत यांनी 1 जानेवारी 2020 रोजी चीफ ऑफ डिफेन्स स्टाफ पद स्वीकारले. याआधी ते भारतीय लष्कराचे प्रमुख होते. रावत यांनी 31 डिसेंबर 2016 ते 31 डिसेंबर 2019 पर्यंत लष्करप्रमुख म्हणून काम पाहिले. बिपिन रावत यांना लष्करातील अत्युच्च कामगिरीसाठी विशिष्ट सेवा पदक, उत्तम युद्ध सेवा पदक, अति विशिष्ट सेवा पदक, युद्ध सेवा पदक, सेना पदक तसेच विशिष्ट सेवा पदकाने सन्मानित करण्यात आले आहे.
जनरल बिपीन रावत यांचा जन्म उत्तराखंडमधील पौरी गढवाल जिल्ह्यातील चौहान राजपूत कुटुंबात १९६३ साली झाला. त्यांचे वडील लेफ्टनंट जनरल लक्ष्मण सिंह रावत होते, जे सैन्यातून या पदावरून निवृत्त झाले. रावत यांनी 1978 मध्ये 11 व्या गोरखा रायफलच्या पाचव्या बटालियनमधून आपल्या कारकिर्दीची सुरुवात केली.
रावत यांनी डेहराडूनमधील कॅंब्रियन हॉल स्कूल, शिमला येथील सेंट एडवर्ड स्कूल आणि इंडियन मिलिटरी अकादमी, डेहराडून येथे शिक्षण घेतले, जिथे त्यांनी ‘स्वॉर्ड ऑफ ऑनर’ प्राप्त केली. ते डिफेन्स सर्व्हिसेस स्टाफ कॉलेज, वेलिंग्टन आणि फोर्ट लीव्हनवर्थ, यूएसए येथील हायर कमांड कोर्सचे पदवीधर आहेत. त्यांनी मद्रास विद्यापीठातून डिफेन्स स्टडीज, डिप्लोमा इन मॅनेजमेंट आणि डिप्लोमा इन कॉम्प्युटर स्टडीज देखील केले आहे.

तसेच मद्रास विद्यापीठातून स्ट्रॅटेजिक आणि डिफेन्स स्टडीजमध्ये एम.फिल.
राजपूत कुटुंबात जन्मलेल्या रावत यांच्या अनेक पिढ्या लष्करात.
जानेवारी 1979 मध्ये मिझोराममध्ये सैन्यात त्यांना पहिली नियुक्ती मिळाली.
नेफा परिसरात तैनात असताना त्यांनी बटालियनचे नेतृत्व केले.
त्यांनी काँगोमध्ये संयुक्त राष्ट्रांच्या शांतता सेनेचे नेतृत्वही केले.
त्यांनी 01 सप्टेंबर 2016 रोजी लष्कराचे उपप्रमुख म्हणून पदभार स्वीकारला

Nagpur: It was after a normal day filled with thrilling experiences for a 55 year old secret service cop from Yavatmal that he started feeling a pain in chest. The family consulted a local physician who gave them basic medications and asked them to shift him to a higher cardiac centre.
After the same episode next morning, the family decided to hospitalize him. “We took my father to a local hospital from where he was told to be shifted to Nagpur for better treatment at the earliest”, informed the cop’s daughter. “I did my research for the best hospital in Nagpur and arrived at the conclusion that Wockhardt Hospital is the place to be”, she added.
Dr. Achyut Khandekar, Consultant- Interventional Cardiology, handled this very complex case and saved the life of this patient. “The patient’s left anterior descending artery (LAD) was 100% blocked and his two other arteries also had significant blockage. He was in cardiogenic shock and also had Complete Heart Blockage so a Temporary Pacemaker was inserted and later IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump) was also inserted”, informed Dr. Khandekar. “It was a very difficult case and we also had to delay the Angioplasty of this patient as when he was brought to us his Blood Pressure was very low and createnine was also higher than the normal levels”, he added.
Dr. Khandekar informed that after stabilizing the patient he conducted a viability scan, it was discovered that area being supplied by his culprit artery was dead and thus, Angioplasty was performed on other two arteries, ensuring a proper blood flow. It was very important to stabilize the patient before performing any procedure as otherwise; he could have suffered from kidney failure.
“We do not treat the investigations, we treat the patient”, said Dr. Achyut while also informing that for such cases, a separate personalized care plan has to be generated to save a patient’s life. In this case, the clinical team of Wockhardt came with a personalized plan of treatment for this patient and his life was saved.

National: To clamp down on the misuse and abuse of social media and promote fair use of language, the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) in Mysore has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bombinate Technologies Pvt. Ltd., the holding company of India’s multi-lingual micro-blogging platform – Koo. CIIL, which was established by the Government of India to coordinate the development of Indian languages, will work jointly with the Koo App to strengthen its content moderation policies and help users stay safe and secure online. This collaboration will work towards safeguarding users from online abuse, bullying and threats, and build a transparent and conducive ecosystem.
Through the collaboration, CIIL will create a corpus of expressions including words, phrases, abbreviations and acronyms that are considered offensive or sensitive across 22 languages of the VIII scheduled of the Constitution of India. In turn, the Koo App will share relevant data to create the corpus and provide technological support to build interfaces that will host the corpus for public access. This is a long-term collaboration for developing responsible use of Indian languages on social media and it will be valid for two years by providing users with a secure and immersive networking experience across languages.
The path-breaking exercise between CIIL and the Koo App aims to develop dictionaries of words and expressions in Indian languages that are considered offensive, disrespectful or derogatory, enabling efficient content moderation in these languages. This kind of initiative has not been implemented before in the Indian context.
Welcoming this development, Prof. Shailendra Mohan, Director, CIIL observed that enabling Indian language users to communicate on the Koo platform is, in fact, a manifestation of the right to equality and freedom of speech, which are our much-revered constitutional values. The MoU between CIIL and Koo is an effort towards ensuring that the use of social media, particularly the Koo App, comes with verbal/ textual hygiene and it is free of inappropriate language and abuse. Encouraging this initiative of Koo towards creating a pleasant and safe environment for social media posts, Prof. Mohan said that the efforts of the Koo App are worthy of appreciation. Therefore, CIIL will provide language consultancy through corpus and strengthen the hands of the Koo team in realizing the goal of achieving responsible and sanitized social media interactions.

This understanding will enhance the content moderation practice at the micro-blogging platform and assist users to curate more engaging content in their respective languages; thus consolidating Koo’s position as India’s leading multi-language social media platform.

In view of Covid-19 pandemic and urgent need of surgical intervention, rather than
waiting for Covid-19 RTPCR test; he was taken for emergency surgical management in
night itself with pre-op Rapid Antigen test for Covid-19. He underwent Tracheostomy,
Enucleation of Lt. eyeball, Frontal craniotomy with Duroplasty with fixation, closure of
Lt. Frontal orbital defect, tongue & palate reconstruction, Lt. Upper & lower eyelid
reconstruction and closure of entry & exit wound by Dr. Darshan Rewanwar, Dr. Palak
Jaiswal, Dr. Abhay Agashe and Dr. Siddharth Saoji while Dr. Neeta Deshpande provided
the necessary anesthesia. Surgery lasted for 8 hrs.
At present, he is on ventilator support with other allied treatment protocol. Once his
general condition improves and facial swelling decreases, He will further require needful
multiple surgeries for maxillofacial fractures and reconstruction.

नागपूर : स्थळ डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ. रविवारी सकाळी पाऊणेसात वाजता शारजाह-नागपूर आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमान उतरले. ओमिक्रोनचे सावट घोंघावत असल्याने सारेच दहशतीमध्ये होते. सारे वातावरण चिंताग्रस्त होते. तणावाच्या वातावरणात महापालिकेच्या आरोग्य विभागातील अधिकाऱ्यांनी एक-एक करीत शंभर प्रवाशांची आरटी-पीसीआर चाचणी केली. तब्बल दीड ते दोन तास नमुने घेतले. जोपर्यंत अहवाल येत नाही, तोपर्यंत प्रवाशी विमानतळावरच थांबले होते. मनात धास्ती होती. सुदैवाने कोणीही कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह आढळून आला नाही.
आप्त स्वकीय येणार म्हणून नातेवाइकाला घेण्यासाठी एकीकडे गर्दी केली होती. मात्र, शारजा विमानातून येणाऱ्यांना विमानतळाच्या आतल्या परिसरात थांबवले होते. चाचण्या निगेटिव्ह आल्यामुळे साऱ्यांना सोडण्यात आले. मात्र, प्रवाशांचे राहण्याचे ठिकाण, संपर्क मोबाईल नंबर आदींची माहिती घेण्यात आली. यानंतरच त्यांना घरीच विलगीकरणात राहण्याची अट घालण्यात आली.
कोरोनाचा नवीन व्हेरियंट ओमिक्रॉनमुळे जगभरात चिंता वाढली आहे. दक्षिण आफ्रिकेमध्ये हा व्हेरियंट सापडला असून येथून आलेल्या काही प्रवाशांना कोरोनाची लागण झाली आहे. पण, त्यांना ओमिक्रॉनची लागण झालीय का? हे अद्याप स्पष्ट झाले नाही. पण, कोरोनाला वेळीच अटकाव घालण्यासाठी केंद्राने मार्गदर्शक सूचना जारी केल्या आहेत. पण, काही राज्यांनी त्यांच्या स्वतंत्र गाइडलाईन्स जारी केल्या असून कोणत्या राज्यात काय निर्बंध आहेत? हे आपण पाहुयात. तुम्ही कुठे फिरायला जायचा प्लॅन करत असाल तर या गाइडलाइन्स तुमच्यासाठी फायदेशीर ठरणार आहे.
तीन दिवसांनंतर पुन्हा सर्व प्रवाशांना संपर्क करण्यात येणार आहे. पुढील चाचणीत कोविड तपासणीनंतर नियमाप्रमाणे उपचार सुरू करण्यात येतील. ८ दिवसांनंतर पुन्हा सर्व शंभर प्रवाशांची आरटी-पीसीआर चाचणी केली जाणार आहे. यात कोणताही प्रवासी पॉझिटिव्ह आढळून आल्यास आमदार निवासातील कोविड सेंटरमध्ये राहावे लागणार आहे.
ओमिक्रॉनचा नवीन व्हेरियंट राज्यात आढळला. यामुळे केंद्र सरकारने जारी केलेल्या मार्गदर्शक सूचनांनुसार, महापालिकेच्या वतीने विमानतळावर चाचणीसाठी व्यवस्था केली होती. एअर अरेबियाचे शारजाह ते नागपूर विमान उतरल्यानंतर सर्वांना वेगळ्या कक्षात थांबविले होते. नागपूर ते शारजाह प्रवास करणाऱ्या ९५ प्रवाशांची चाचणी करून विमानात प्रवेश देण्यात आला. आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानातील येणाऱ्या व जाणाऱ्या प्रवाशांची विमानतळावर आरटी-पीसीआर चाचणी केली जाणार असल्याची माहिती अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम जोशी यांनी दिली आहे.
ओमिक्रॉनचा संक्रमण पसरू नये यासाठी आरोग्य यंत्रणा सतर्क झाली आहे. शासनाच्या सूचनेनुसार परदेशातून येणाऱ्या प्रवाशांवर विशेष लक्ष ठेवले जात आहे. रविवारी सकाळी शारजाहून विमान आल्यानंतर विमानतळावर आरटी-पीसीआर चाचणी कक्षात पाठविण्यात आले. निगेटिव्ह अहवालानंतर प्रवाशांना गृहविलगीकरणात राहण्याची सूचना केली. महापालिकेच्या पथकाची नजर असणार आहे. हे पथक दुसऱ्या, चौथ्या व सातव्या दिवशी संबंधित प्रवाशाच्या घरी जाऊन माहिती घेणार आहे. प्रवाशांचा अहवाल पॉझिटिव्ह येताच त्यांना वैद्यकीय उपचारासाठी मेडिकल, मेयोत पाठवण्यात येईल.
Come Monday, December 6th, the day devoted to the worship of Lord Shiva, has a big entry in store for all the Lord Shiva’s devotees, in form a grand entry of the show lead, Baal Shiv, essayed by Aan Tiwari. Talking about the episode, Mouli Ganguly, essaying Mahasati Anusuya’s character shares, “Anusuya is woman of her words and has immense faith on her bhakti towards Mahadev. Even when, Tridev demand Nirvana Bhiksha, she knew that Mahadev In &TV’s latest mythological offering, Baal Shiv, will protect her dignity. She takes pran to not let the Tridev leave the ashram empty handed, so she receives them as her own children and feed them realizing that Mahadev will take away her curse of her inability to conceive a child. Her severe penance results in her being blessed to be Tridev’s mother, with Mahadev attaining the Baal Roop. So do watch this grand entry of Baal Shiv on Shiv ke paawan din Somwaar, 6th December.”

It’s an honor for me to be portraying Dr. Deepika as the character sketch brilliantly defines a progressive woman that can truly be an inspiration for many in our society. The best part is that the Deepika’s fight feels like it’s my own story and so will a lot of women, I am sure.

Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii is not like your regular drama; it’s a show that represents the woman of today who are no more letting others, or the society dictate to them what the rules are. They are the rule makers and breakers themselves. The show is an eye opener to the society on why a woman must always bury her dreams for the sake of family and why can’t men be equal stakeholders in carrying forward the familial responsibilities. Playing the character of Vikrant has been a challenging experience as the character has multiple layers to him and he’s everything that I am not. Maharashtra Governor Honorable Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari launched the logo of ‘1 OTT’, a joint venture of leading film actor Swwapnil Joshi and noted industrialist-philanthropist Narendra Firodia, on December 1, 2021. The OTT (Over The Top) platform will cater to the regional content covering all major Indian language to become truly ‘Apne Bharat Ka Apna Mobile TV’. The platform will prove the OTT of India by telecasting films and series in regional languages including Hindi, Marathi, Bengali among others.
Honourable governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari after unveiling the logo of ‘1 OTT’ at a glitterati function held at Raj Bhavan said, “I congratulate Shri Swwapnil Joshi ji, Narendra Firodia ji and his team members on the occasion of the launch of the unique platform. I wish them and the venture every success in the endeavour undertaken,” he said.
Along with the Joshi and Firodia, the OTT platform has been supported by noted name in DTL activation Vinayak Satpute, founder members Venkatesh Shrinivasan, Rajiv Jani, leading banker Satish Utekar, noted name in entertainment industry Chetan Maniar and their team members who were present for the launch.
Swwapnil Joshi, the household name with his variety of roles in the films and serials and Narendra Firodia, a noted industrialist-philanthropist, were separately planning to launch the OTT for a long period. When they came to know about each other’s plan, they decided to join hands and launch it on the larger scale and change the definition of the regional content the way it is being presented today.
“I was thinking about starting the OTT for the last two years as I was looking to do something different to grow as an artist. We wanted to give a good OTT platform to the people. In the meantime, I discussed the venture with Narendra Firodia with whom I share very good relations for the last few years. When a learnt about his plans to launch OTT for regional languages content, we decided merge both the ventures,” said Swwapnil Joshi.
“Not only the regional languages in India, but even foreign language content can be added in future on the platform. We have a very good team of leading people from this field intending to form a global entity. We are happy to launch it today. We are looking forward for out of the box entertainment for the people across demographies,” Joshi said.
Narendra Firodia said, “The lockdown saw the launch of many OTT platforms catering to various genres of the content. India is a huge market for the contents on OTT and it has been proven in the last two years. Since the regional languages were not getting the due participation on these platforms, we decided to launch ‘1 OTT’ for the content in Indian languages. The platform will benefit the contents from all the Indian languages. We are aiming at giving quality content in Indian languages to our viewers and that way it will be India’s OTT.”

नागपूर : शनिवारी रात्री नागपूर शहराला हादरवून सोडणाऱ्या देवकाबाई बोबडे यांच्या हत्याकांडाचा उलगडा करण्यात नागपूर पोलिसांना यश आले आहे. मीतेश पाचभाई असे या आरोपीचे नाव असून तो मृत देवकाबाई बोबडे यांचा नातू आहे. त्यानेच ही हत्या केली असून पैशांसाठी ही हत्या केली असल्याचे प्राथमिक तपासात पुढे येत आहे.
शनिवारी दिवशी सायंकाळ च्या वेळी नंदनवन पोलीस स्टेशन हद्दीत शहराला हादरून टाकणारी घटना घडली. 78 वर्षीय निवृत्त डाक्टर देवकी बोबडे यांची खुर्चीला हातपाय बांधून गळा चिरून हत्या करण्यात आली आहे. पोलिसांनी या घटनेचा तांत्रिक पद्धतीने तपास केला असता हत्या करणारा घरचाच असल्याचं पुढे आलं आहे. ही महिला ज्या घरात राहायची त्याच घरी त्यांची मुलगी आणि जावई राहतात त्यांच्याच मुलाने हे दुष्कृत्य केले आहे. आरोपी नातू हा इंजिनिअरिंगचे शिक्षण घेत होता व त्याला पैशांची गरज होती.
त्याने आजी ला पैसे मागितले मात्र आजी ने पैसे देण्यास नकार दिल्याने त्याने निर्दयीपणे आजीची हत्या केली असल्याचं पोलिसांच्या प्राथमिक तपासात निष्पन्न झाले आहे. मात्र, पोलीस यात आणखी काही निष्पन्न होते का? याचा सुद्धा तपास करत आहे. या हत्येच्या घटनेने परिसर हादरला असून शहरात हळहळ माजली आहे. पण, पैश्याच्या हव्यासापोटी किंवा गरजे पोटी ज्या आजी च्या अंगाखांद्यावर खेळला, वाढला त्याच नातवाने तिची निर्दयीपणे हत्या केली. त्यामुळे आता नेमका विश्वास ठेवायचा कोणावर असा प्रश्न उपस्थित व्हायला लागला आहे.

Dr. Anup Marar- OCHRI Director stated that futuristic visionary outlook of
OCHRI management ensures best possible symbiosis of advancements and
expertise under one roof in public interest. In this new unit; The iDose is
an award-winning technology that helps personalize image quality based on
patient needs at low dose and the 70 kV scan mode – the first in a system of
its kind – helps take patient care to a new level by offering low-dose
scanning of smaller patients, and allowing for protection of
radiation-sensitive organs, he conveyed.
Dr. Usha Nair- RNHPL Managing Director stated that value based care is key
to retain goodwill. Keeping up with the ever-changing world of technology is
essential in health care and OCHRI is committed to it. Health care service
providers should not ignore the technological advances happening around them
and should keep abreast with new technology, she added.
Dr. Nishikant Lokhande-Radiologist Incharge highlighted that people should
understand that a single full-body CT scan gives a total radiation dose of
about 12 mSv and a simple chest CT scan equals to 100-200 x-rays. If need
outweighs the risks, then only CT scan should be ideally done. To minimize
radiation to incoming needy patients especially children, OCHRI went with
this new unit. He advised the citizens to keep track of the CT scans done in
their life time and keep their clinicians abreast about it.

A doctor by education, this Aurangabad born actor, Smita Dongre is now seen on India’s First Rural Entertainment Channel, Azaad has launched its 4th Original, Lovepantii. Created by Mahesh Pandey Productions, Lovepantii airs at 8 PM, every Monday to Saturday, only on Azaad. The promos are the talk of the town for their uniqueness and interesting character portrayals. The name is even more captivating – Lovepantii. The show is slated to be one the most entertaining youth-centric drama on Indian television.
The lead character, Arjun has been taught to live within parameters set by his father. Even his dreams have been tailored by his parents and he has accepted his life accordingly. The story of Lovepantii is about how this common boy rises to the occasion when he gets an idea that he is in love.
Here’s getting to know a key character, Devi Singh enacted by the veteran actor, Smita Dongre. The actress belongs to Aurangabad, Maharashtra. She is from a theatre background and been working since 15years in the film industry. She loves him and respects him for changing her life for the better and hence has become a devoted mother completely. Even when Kedarnath decided to raise Ranjana, the daughter of Kedarnath’s younger brother, as his own, she could not refuse him. Devi is just concerned about her own daughter. She worries that Ranjana’s extrovert behavior should not rub off of on her daughter, Suman, hence, she wants Suman to get married at the earliest. She loves Ranjana too, but subconsciously, Ranjana will always be Prakash and Sumitra’s daughter to her.
What made you say yes for this show?
I was very happy when I got a call for this show as a part of the primary cast because in COVID, many people lost their jobs and many were searching for work. I directly got a call for such a wonderful character from Mahesh Pandey Productions. I knew that Mahesh ji is very good writer and he will definitely give justice to every character so I was very excited. I sent my audition. And got positive response from the channel too. I’m thankful to Azaad’s team and Mahesh ji for giving me this opportunity to entertain rural audiences.
How did you prepare for the role?
I mentally prepared myself as a Devi, who is a mother as well as a Thakurain, and has her own beliefs about society and family, especially about girls and daughters. I prepared myself for it by trying to understand the character’s mindset.
If there is one thing you would like to change about your character in the show, what would it be?
Actually, I personally dislike any comparison between males and females and am against male dominance but in some situations, we need to understand the differences. I’m not for male dominance but as Devi, I go with the writer’s vision.
What was your first reaction when you were finalized for the show?
I am a very positive person and a strong believer of Karma. I was very happy when I got the confirmation call and felt blessed because, as I mentioned there are so many in such a worse situation. We have all gone a rough patch where there are many yet jobless with no extra source of income in our industry and are suffering. That I got such a wonderful project, I’m thankful to God, Azaad and especially Mahesh Pandey ji who believed that I’m capable to enact this character and also thank my family for their support.
How do you’ll deal with creative differences on the set while shooting?
There are no creative differences. Our entire team is like a family so we always have a proper discussion if we have any doubts and our creative team explains everything to us very well.
Tell us more about before becoming an actor?
As all of you know I’m a doctor by education. I completed my medical and started my own clinic. That time some of my friends joined our industry and they knew that I was very active in cultural programs like drama, singing, etc, in college and so they approached me for auditions and thats how my acting journey began.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I was never in rat race. Acting is my passion and my family is my priority and responsibility, so, I always worked to balanc both. I worked for my satisfaction and I never compare myself with anyone. I’m pursuing my own path so definitely in next five years also, I’ll be at some different and better destination but for sure, I’m not in rat race.
