A $30k per month job in Canada: Trap lured BrahMos scientist Nishant Agarwal to share sensitive data with ISI

New Delhi: Nishant Agarwal, a junior scientist working in DRDO’s Nagpur lab, who was arrested on charges of alleged spying by Uttar Pradesh ATS, was reportedly lured with a job offer of $30,000 per month in Canada.

According to a report, Agarwal was asked for ‘specimens’ of his work when he complied and shared sensitive data. The ATS, on Monday, arrested Agarwal for leaking classified information to Pakistan’s ISI. A Nagpur Court on Tuesday granted the ATS, a three-day remand of Agarwal. He may be booked under the Official Secrets Act (OSA).

According to thereport, Agarwal, a junior scientist at the BrahMos facility in Nagpur, was in touch with one Sejal Kapoor, a Canada-based woman. He would frequently chat with her on Facebook. Kapoor invited Agarwal to connect with her on LinkedIn and subsequently sent him a link so that Agarwal could talk to her seniors.

The link reportedly downloaded classified information from Agarwal’s computer. Agarwal also chatted with another woman, one ‘Neha Sharma’ on Facebook. The link to the account was traced to Pakistan.

The shooting of the film is currently being shot in Andhra Pradesh

The biopic will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi since NTR was a popular figure across India in films and political circles. Being jointly produced by Balakrishna, Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati, the film will have music by MM Keeravani.

नागपूर – येथील कोराडी परिसरात नवरात्रोत्सवानिमित्त भरणाऱ्या जत्रेत एका व्यक्तीने झाडाला फाशी घेतल्याची घटना समोर आली आहे. मृत व्यक्ती जत्रेमध्ये लागणाऱ्या सर्कसीमध्ये काम करत होता अशी माहिती मिळाली आहे. नंदू कहारे असे त्याचे नाव आहे. नागपूरच्या कोराडी येथे जगदंबा देवीचे जागृत मंदिर आहे. त्याठिकाणी नवरात्रोत्सवामित्त 9 दिवस जत्रा भरत असते. याठिकाणी भाविकांची गर्दी होत असलेल्याने येथील जत्रेला मोठे स्वरुप असते. या जत्रेमध्ये सर्कसीत काम करणाऱ्या नंदू कहारे याने आत्महत्या केल्याचे समोर आले आहे. याच परिसरातील एका झाडावर त्याचा मृतदेह लटकलेल्या अवस्थेत आढळला आहे. पोलिस या प्रकरणी तपास करत आहेत.

Nagpur : The social security cell of Nagpur Crime Branch raided a house near NIT garden in Jaripatka area and arrested a broker for indulging woman in illegal sex trade on Tuesday. The accused was identified as Vanita Mulchand Tawde, resident of Najul layout, Harijan Colony. Lured with promise of good returns, the accused used indulge girls and women into sex trade.

Followed by the tip off the social security cell, led by ACP Crime Branch Sambhaji Kadam, laid a trap and sent a decoy to the accused. The accused then provided a girl to the decoy in exchange of money. On getting signal from the decoy, the police team raided the house and arrested Vinita under relevant sections also freed a girl from her clutches.

Determined Indian Junior Men’s Hockey Team beat Japan 1-0

The Indian Junior Men’s Hockey team remained on top of their game as they registered their third successive victory at the 8th Sultan of Johor Cup 2018 as they beat Japan 1-0 in a closely-fought match.

The rain-affected India-Japan match which was stopped for a few minutes during the first quarter was intensely fought between the two teams. With Japan on the rise with both their Senior and Junior teams making good progress in the lead-up to the Tokyo Olympics, the India Colts had their task cut out.

Their attack was often challenged with good, disciplined defence structure that Japan adopted during the entire duration of play. Though India made a few chances in the opening quarter with the team winning a PC, it was denied by a good Japanese defence.

With the second quarter too ending in a stalemate with both teams at 0-0, the third quarter saw India up their attack. While two PCs were awarded to India after a Japanese infringement, it was in the second attempt that Skipper Mandeep Mor converted a well-executed PC in the 42nd minute.

Leading by only a goal, India put all their might into defence with Goalkeeper Pankaj Rajak making some excellent saves to keep his hockey team in the lead. India overcame a close shave when Japan won a PC with minutes left for the final hooter, however, the chance was missed and India held their nerves to seal the match and the winning points.

Earlier in the tournament, India Colts had won 2-1 against Malaysia and 7-1 against New Zealand.

UIDAI plans to open Aadhar Seva Kendras in 53 cities

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI)

New Delhi : Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is planning to open Aadhaar Seva Kendras’ in 53 cities across country including all the state capitals, official sources said on Tuesday.

The proposed centres, meant to provide the facility of enrollment, correction or change of address faculty, will start operating from April 2019, the sources added. Currently, people have to go regional offices of UIDAI or banks for enrollment of Aadhar.

This comes after, the Supreme Court, on September 26 upheld the constitutional validity of the Aadhaar and said it would be required for utilising welfare schemes of the government.

The ruling, however, came with certain caveats with the top court mandating that the 12-digit identifier will not be required for obtaining SIM cards and opening bank accounts.

The apex court had also stated that Aadhaar will not be mandatory for school admissions, UGC, NEET and CBSE examinations. However, the linkage of Permanent Account Number (PAN) cards with Aadhaar remains compulsory.

प्लास्टिक आढळल्यास दुकानाचा परवाना रद्द – पर्यावरणमंत्री रामदास कदम

मुंबई : कोणत्याही दुकानात कॅरी बॅग, प्लास्टिकच्या वस्तू अथवा प्लास्टिक पॅकेजिंग मटेरियल आढळून आल्यास तातडीने दुकानाचा परवाना रद्द करण्याचे निर्देश पर्यावरणमंत्री रामदास कदम यांनी दिले. ते आज मंत्रालयात आयोजित प्लास्टिक बंदीसंदर्भातील आढावा बैठकीत बोलत होते. यावेळी पर्यावरण राज्यमंत्री प्रवीण पोटे-पाटील उपस्थित होते.

श्री.कदम म्हणाले, राज्यात ई-कॉमर्ससाठी लागणाऱ्या प्लास्टिक पॅकेजिंग मटेरियलला फक्त 3 महिन्याकरिता विक्री करण्यास मुभा दिली होती. ती मुदत संपल्याने दुकानदारांनी प्लास्टिक पॅकेजिंग मटेरियल ऐवजी अन्य पर्यावरणपूरक पर्यायांचा वापर करावा. गणपती उत्सवाच्या काळात थर्माकोलवर शंभर टक्के बंदी केली तसेच येणाऱ्या नवरात्र, दसरा आणि दिवाळीतही थर्माकोल आणि प्लास्टिकचा वापर टाळला पाहिजे. आतापर्यंत राज्यात 290 टन प्लास्टिक जप्त केले असून प्लास्टिक बंदीबाबत भारतात मोठ्या प्रमाणात जनजागृती होत असल्याबद्दल युनो आणि इंग्लंडने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी यांचे अभिनंदन केले आहे. केंद्रीय पर्यावरण मंत्रालयानेदेखील महाराष्ट्रात प्लास्टिक बंदी केल्याबद्दल शासनाचे अभिनंदन केले असून महाराष्ट्राप्रमाणे देशातील अन्य राज्यांनी मोहीम राबविण्याचे निर्देश दिले आहेत.

गुजरात राज्यातून मोठ्या प्रमाणात प्लास्टिक येत असल्याचे सांगून श्री.कदम म्हणाले, पोलिसांनी ट्रक जप्त करुन कारवाई केली पाहिजे. जर दुकानात प्लास्टिक आढळले तर दुकानांवर कारवाई करुन त्यांचे परवाने रद्द करण्याची शिफारस करावी. पर्यटन आणि देवस्थानच्या ठिकाणी प्लास्टिक कॅरी बॅग मोठ्या प्रमाणात वापरल्या जातात. तेथेही पोलीस आणि प्रदूषण मंडळाच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी कारवाई करावी. जिल्हा परिषद, महानगरपालिका, नगरपरिषदेने मोठ्या प्रमाणात कापडी पिशव्या तयार करुन त्या दुकानांवर आणि ग्राहकांपर्यंत पोहचवल्या पाहिजेत. लवकरच 25 लाख पिशव्या तयार होत असून त्या बाजारात उपलब्ध होतील.

यापुढे राज्यभर दौरा करुन प्लास्टिकसंदर्भात महसूल विभागनिहाय आढावा घेणार असल्याचे श्री.कदम यांनी शेवटी सांगितले. यावेळी श्री. पोटे-पाटील म्हणाले, पोलीस आणि अधिकाऱ्यांनी संयुक्तपणे प्लास्टिक गोदामे, दुकाने यावर धाडी टाकून दंड आकारावा. त्यांचे लायसेंस रद्द करावेत. दुकानांना परवानगी देणाऱ्या अधिकाऱ्यांना सूचित करावे. ज्याप्रमाणे ध्वनिप्रदूषण (डीजेबंदी) झाली त्याप्रमाणे प्लास्टिकबंदीसुद्धा शंभर टक्के झाली पाहिजे.

या बैठकीला पर्यावरण विभागाचे प्रधान सचिव अनिल डिग्गीकर, प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडळाचे सदस्य सचिव ई-रविंद्रन, महानगरपालिकांचे आयुक्त, उपायुक्त, जि.प.चे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी, न.प.चे मुख्याधिकारी, वरिष्ठ पोलीस अधिकारी आणि पर्यावरण व प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडळाचे अधिकारी उपस्थित होते.

नागपूर : कोराडी येथील श्री महालक्ष्मी जगदंबा मंदिर आज सर्व भाविकांसाठी खुले करण्यात आले आहे. मंदिर सर्वांसाठ़ी खुले होताच आई जगदंबेच्या दर्शनासाठ़ी असंख्य भाविकांनी गर्दी केली होती. प्रत्येकाला आई जगदंबेच्या मुखकमलाकडे पाहण्याची प्रचंड उत्सुकता दिसत होती. अतिशय प्रसन्न आणि सुंदर असे आईचे मुखकमल प्रत्येक दर्शनार्थीचे आकर्षण होते.

संपूर्ण चांदीने मढवलेल्या गाभार्‍यात आई जगदंबेची मूर्ती अधिक तेजस्वी दिसत होती. नवरात्राच्या दहा दिवसात हे तेज अधिक वाढत जाणार आहे. गाभाऱ्याचे अनेक दिवसानंतर भाविकांना दर्शन मिळाले. जगदंबेच्या मंदिर परिसरात सुरू असलेल्या सुमारे २५० कोटींच्या विकास कामांमुळे आणि गाभारा मढविण्याच्या कामासाठी सुमारे ४ महिने जगदंबेचे मंदिर भाविकांना दर्शनासाठी बंद करण्यात आले होते. तब्बल चार महिन्यांनंतर आज प्रथमच ते भाविकांसाठ़ी खुले करण्यात आले. त्यामुळे भाविकांमधील प्रचंड उत्साह आणि दर्शनासाठी लागलेली ओढ दिसत होती.

आज सकाळी मंत्रोच्चाराने देवीची पूजा करण्यात आली. सायंकाळी देवीसमोर होमहवन करण्यात आले. त्यानंतर महाआरती झाली. या महाआरतीत असंख्य भाविक महिला-पुरुष सहभागी झाले होते. मंदिराचे विश्वस्त आणि मार्गदर्शक चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांच्या आणि मंदिराच्या विश्वस्त मंडळाचे अध्यक्ष अ‍ॅड. मुकेश शर्मा यांच्या हस्ते गोंधळाच्या गजरात महाआरती करण्यात आली. गोंधळाच्या गजराने हा परिसर दुमदुमला होता. भाविकांच्या अंगात एक उत्साह संचारला असल्याचे जाणवत होते. महाआरतीच्या वेळी प्रसिध्द उद्योजक रमेश मंत्री, संस्थानचे सर्व विश्वस्त, सचिव फुलझेले व अनेक मान्यवर उपस्थित होते.

7 Dead as New Farakka Express derails near Rae Bareli In Uttar Pradesh

NEW DELHI: Seven people have died and around 30 people have been injured after a Delhi-bound train derailed in Uttar Pradesh’s Raebareli early this morning. Eight coaches of the New Farakka Express derailed near the Harchandpur railway station in Raebareli at around 6:05 am, Northern Railway Divisional Railway Manager Satish Kumar said. The train was headed to New Delhi from Malda town in West Bengal.

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams from Lucknow and Varanasi are at the site of accident to rescue passengers who may have been trapped.

A team of doctors in an accident relief medical van has been rushed to the site and emergency helpline numbers have been set up at the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya junction in Mughalsarai, officials said.

The injured passengers have been taken to nearby hospitals. All train lines on the route where the accident took place have been blocked and officials fear that the casualties may rise. Sources Railway Board Chairman Ashwani Lohani is on his way to the accident site.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences and asked the district magistrate, the superintendent of police, health authorities and the NDRF to provide all possible assistance to relief and rescue operations, an official spokesman said. He has also directed the most senior police office in the state to take all necessary action.

नागपूर : एक कोटी रुपयांसाठी एका सोळा वर्षीय तरुणाचे अपहरण करणाऱ्या टोळीच्या तीन सदस्यांना पोलिसांनी जेरबंद केले असून अपहत मुलाची सुखरूप सुटका केली.

प्रथमेश ऊर्फ दत्ता संजय गोरले (२०) रा. गोपाळ विहार, इंदिरानगर, खळगाव रोड, वाडी, नारायण सुंदरलाल पवार (३६) रा. दुनाव तारा. मुलताई, जि. बैतुल (मध्यप्रदेश) आणि दिनेश मोतीराम बारस्कर (३९) रा. टिकारी, बैतुल अशी अटक करण्यात आलेल्या आरोपींची नावे आहेत, तर गौरव सूर्यवंशी हा फरार असून शिव ऊर्फ प्रिंस चंद्रन हा आरोपी मध्यप्रदेश पोलिसांच्या ताब्यात आहे. हर्षित संतोष पाल (१७) रा. संतोषीनगर, महादेवनगर, लावा, वाडी याचे २ ऑक्टोबरच्या सायंकाळी अपहरण करण्यात आले होते. हर्षितचे वडील वाहतूक व्यावसायिक आहे. हर्षितचे अपहरण केल्यास पैसा मिळू शकेल, याची आरोपींना कल्पना होती. त्यामुळे गेल्या दोन महिन्यांपासून दत्ता हा इतर आरोपींच्या मदतीने अपहरणची योजना आखत होता. त्यासाठी त्यांने कारही चोरली. दत्ता हा हर्षितला ओळखत होता.

२ ऑक्टोबरच्या सायंकाळी त्याला लावा परिसरातील एका किराणा दुकान परिसरात त्याला भेटायला बोलावले व अविनाश गजभिये याचा पत्ता विचारण्याच्या बहाण्याने कारमध्ये बसवून त्याचे अपहरण केले. त्यानंतर नागपूरबाहेर नरखेड येथे नेऊन त्याचे हातपाय बांधले व तोंडाला पट्टी लावली. त्यानंतर इतर आरोपी त्याला मध्यप्रदेशात घेऊन गेले. त्याच रात्री आरोपींनी हर्षितचे वडील संतोष पाल (४३) यांना भ्रमणध्वनी करून मुलाचे अपहरणाची माहिती दिली व एक कोटी रुपये खंडणी मागितली. दुसऱ्या दिवशी भ्रमणध्वनी करून पैसे कुठे पोहोचवायचे हे सांगण्यात येईल, असे सांगितले.

दरम्यान, या प्रकरणाची वाडी पोलीस ठाण्यात तक्रार देण्यात आली. पोलीस चौकशीत हर्षित हा दत्ता व श्रेयश ऊर्फ बिट्ट संदीप उईके यांच्या संपर्कात असल्याचे निष्पन्न झाले. दत्ता हा बेपत्ता होता, तर बिट्टने दत्ता व त्याच्या मित्रांनी हर्षितचे अपहरण केल्याची माहिती दिली. आरोपींनी खंडणी मागताच वाडी व गुन्हे शाखेचे पोलीस आरोपींचा टॉवर लोकेशन घेऊन त्यांचा पाठलाग करू लागले.

दरम्यान, प्रिंन्स हा दिल्लीचा रहिवासी असून त्याच्याविरुद्ध यापूर्वीचे खून, खुनाचा प्रयत्न व दरोडा असे गंभीर गुन्हे दाखल असल्याचे समजले. पोलिसांनी ताबडतोब त्याचा शोध सुरू केल्यावर तो फरार असल्याचे आढळून आले. मध्यप्रदेश पोलिसांना त्याची माहिती देण्यात आली. नाकाबंदीदरम्यान मध्यप्रदेश पोलिसांनी त्याला पकडले. मात्र, उर्वरित आरोपी व हर्षित हे सापडले नाहीत. ते वारंवार भोपाळ, झांशी, ग्वाल्हेर, आग्रा असे फिरत होते. प्रथम त्यांनी पैसे भोपाळला मागितले व नंतर आग्राला पोहोचवण्यास सांगितले.

नागपूर, ता. ९ : केंद्रीय आयुर्वेदीय विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद नवी दिल्ली द्वारा संचालित क्षेत्रिय आयुर्वेदीय मातृ व शिशु स्वास्थ अनुसंधान संस्थान आणि नागपूर महानगरपालिकेच्या वतीने तिसऱ्या आयुर्वेद दिनाचे औचित्य साधून ४ नोव्हेंबर रोजी पहाटे ५.३० वाजता कस्तुरचंद पार्क येथून ‘हेल्थ रन’ (आयुर्वेदा दौड स्वास्थ की ओर) चे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. यासंदर्भातील तयारीचा आढावा मंगळवारी (ता. ९) महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी घेतला.

नागपूर महानगरपालिका मुख्यालय सिव्हील लाईन येथील डॉ. पंजाबराव देशमुख स्मृती सभागृहात सदर बैठकीचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली आयोजित बैठकीला उपमहापौर दीपराज पार्डीकर, प्रभारी आयुक्त रवींद्र ठाकरे, भाजपच्या मनपातील उपनेत्या वर्षा ठाकरे, क्रीडा समितीचे सभापती नागेश सहारे, ज्येष्ठ नगरसेवक सुनील अग्रवाल, अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम जोशी, अतिरिक्त आयुक्त अझीझ शेख, आरोग्य अधिकारी (स्वच्छता) डॉ. सुनील कांबळे, वैद्यकीय अधिकारी (मे.) डॉ. विजय जोशी, आयोजक डॉ. आर. गोविंद रेड्डी, डॉ. सविता शर्मा, डॉ. राजेश गुरु, डॉ. मितेश रामभिया उपस्थित होते.

प्रारंभी डॉ. आर. गोविंद रेड्डी यांनी ‘हेल्थ रन’ आयोजनासंदर्भातील संपूर्ण माहिती दिली. आयुर्वेदाच्या माध्यमातून आरोग्याबाबत जनजागृती करण्यासाठी ही दौड आयोजित करण्यात आली असून ‘सार्वजनिक आरोग्यात आयुष’ (AYUSH in public health) ह्या संकल्पनेवर ही दौड राहील. सुमारे पाच हजारांवर नागरिक यामध्ये सहभागी होतील. संपूर्ण नोंदणी ऑनलाईन असून पाच किलोमीटर आणि आठ किलोमीटर दौडचे यात आयोजन असेल, असेही त्यांनी सांगितले.

यासंदर्भात बोलताना महापौर नंदा जिचकार म्हणाल्या, शहरातील नागरिकांच्या आरोग्याशी नागपूर महानगरपालिकेचा अगदी जवळचा संबंध आहे. नागरिकांचे आरोग्य सुदृढ राहावे, यासाठी नागपूर महानगरपालिका सदैव प्रयत्नरत असते. त्याबाबत जनजागृतीही करीत असते. नागपूर महानगरपालिकेतर्फे राबविण्यात येणारे स्वच्छता अभियान हे लोकसहभागानेच राबविल्या जात आहे. याचाच एक भाग म्हणून आरोग्याबाबत जनजागृती करण्याच्या दृष्टीने आयोजित ‘हेल्थ रन’मध्ये नागपूर महानगरपालिका स्वत: आयोजक म्हणून भूमिका निभावत आहे. यामध्ये नागपूर महानगरपालिकेअंतर्गत असलेल्या शाळांतील विद्यार्थीही सहभागी होतील. महापालिकेची संपूर्ण यंत्रणा आयोजनाच्या यशस्वीतेकरिता कार्यरत असेल. यामध्ये शहरातील अधिकाधिक नागरिकांनी सहभागी होऊन आरोग्याबाबतचा संदेश द्यावा, असे आवाहनही त्यांनी यावेळी केले.

दिवाळीत एसटी चा प्रवास महागणार, ३१ ऑक्टोबरच्या मध्यरात्रीपासून भाडेवाढ लागू

महाराष्ट्र राज्य मार्ग परिवहन महामंडळ एसटी

दिवाळी सुट्टीच्या कालावधीत राज्य परिवहन महामंडळाने १० टक्के भाडेवाढ करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. दि. १ नोव्हेंबर ते २० नोव्हेंबर अशी २० दिवसांसाठी ही भाडेवाढ असेल. खासगी ट्रॅव्हल्सकडून दिवाळीवेळी दरवाढ केली जाते. त्या धर्तीवर राज्य परिवहन महामंडळानेही भाडेवाढ केली आहे. राज्य परिवहन महामंडळाच्या या निर्णयामुळे सर्वसामान्य प्रवाशांच्या खिशाला झळ बसणार आहे.

गत वर्षी दिवाळीच्या सुट्टीत सेवाप्रकार निहाय २०, १५ व १० टक्के अशी भाडेवाढ करण्यात आली होती. यंदा मात्र सर्व सेवा प्रकारात एकसमान अशी १० टक्के भाडेवाढ करण्यात आली आहे. ही भाडेवाढ ३१ ऑक्टोबरच्या मध्यरात्रीपासून लागू होईल, असे स्पष्ट करण्यात आले.

एस टी महामंडळाच्या परिवर्तनशील भाडेवाढ सूत्रानुसार गर्दीच्या हंगामात महसूल वाढीच्या दृष्टीने ३० टक्केपर्यंत भाडेवाढ करण्याचा अधिकार राज्य परिवहन प्राधिकरणाने उपाध्यक्ष व व्यवस्थापकीय संचालकांना दिला आहे. त्यानुसार दरवर्षी गर्दीच्या हंगामात (दिवाळी सुट्टीच्या कालावधीत) तात्पुरत्या स्वरूपाची भाडेवाढ करण्यात येते.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday pushed forward his development agenda in poll-bound Haryana. Unveiling a 64-feet-tall statue of Sir Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram at Sampla in Haryana’s Rohtak district, the PM said Chhotu Ram was a visionary, social reformer and he fought for farmer’s right and the emancipation of the backward and downtrodden.

Chhotu Ram felt the pain of the farmers and small-scale entrepreneurs and tried to solve their issues, Bhakra Dam was his concept, the PM said.

PM Modi on Tuesday also unveiled a plaque to mark the laying of foundation stone of the Rail Coach Refurbishing Karkhana in Sonepat. The PM said the rail coach factory will repair and upgrade nearly 250 coaches every year. This initiative will not only bring industrial development in Sonipat but also in entire Haryana. A rail ancillary industry will provide employment opportunity to the youth and bring an all-round development in the entire state, he said.

भारताच्या भालाफेकपटू संदीप चौधरी, जलतरणपटू सुयश जाधव आणि धावपटू रक्षिताने पॅरा-एशियाड स्पर्धेत सुवर्णपदकाची कमाई केली. यात संदीपने जागतिक विक्रमाची नोंद केली. स्पर्धेच्या दुसऱ्या दिवसअखेर भारताने तीन सुवर्ण, सहा रौप्य, सात ब्राँझ अशी एकूण ११ पदके मिळवून पदकतक्त्यात सहावे स्थान मिळवले आहे.

सोमवारी सकाळच्या सत्रात संदीपने भालाफेकमध्ये पुरुषांच्या एफ ४२-४४/६१-६४ गटातून अव्वल स्थान पटकावून भारताच्या खात्यात पहिले पदक जमा केले. मध्यमपल्ल्याची धावपटू रक्षिता (टी ११, १५०० मीटर) आणि जलतरणपटू सुयश नारायण जाधवने (एस ७, ५० मीटर बटरफ्लाय) यांनी आणखी दोन सुवर्णपदके जमा केली. संदीप चौधरीने ६०.०१ मीटर कामगिरी नोंदवली. त्याने तिसऱ्या प्रयत्नात आपली ही सर्वोत्तम कामगिरी नोंदवली. त्याने १९८०मधील चीनच्या मिंगजिए गावोचा ५९.८२ मीटरचा विक्रम मोडित काढला. संदीप चौधरी म्हणाला, ‘पॅरा-एशियाडसाठी मी उत्तम तयारी केली होती. जागतिक विक्रमासह सुवर्णयश मिळवू शकलो, याचा आनंद आहे. मला या कामगिरीवर समाधान मानायचे नाही. आता माझे लक्ष दुबईत होणाऱ्या जागतिक अजिंक्यपद स्पर्धेवर असणार आहे. या कामगिरीत माझे प्रशिक्षक आणि पॅरालिंपिक समितीचा तेवढाच वाटा आहे.’

यानंतर जलतरणमध्ये ५० मीटर बटरफ्लायमध्ये सुयश जाधवने ३२.७१ सेकंद वेळ नोंदवून सुवर्णपदकाची कमाई केली. चीनच्या हाँग यंगने (३३.५४ से.) रौप्य, तर थायलंडच्या बूनयारितने (३८.०९ से.) ब्राँझपदक मिळवले. जलतरणमध्ये भारताने चार पदकांची कमाई केली. सुयशच्या सुवर्णपदकाव्यतिरिक्त यात तीन ब्राँझपदकांचा समावेश होता. महिलांच्या १५०० मीटर धावण्याच्या शर्यतीत रक्षिताने ५ मिनिटे ४०.६४ सेकंद वेळ नोंदवून अव्वल क्रमांक पटकावला. पॅरा-पॉवरलिफ्टिंगमध्ये भारताने रौप्यपदक मिळवले, तर शूटिंगमध्ये एक रौप्य आणि एक ब्राँझपदक पटकावले.

Baba Ramdev led Patanjali Ayurveda plans to topple all global brands in the world to become the biggest FMCG company by 2025. Not only this, the yoga guru says unlike global brands, he wants to use the revenue earned from Patanjali for carrying out social work in India.

During a conference organised by FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry) Ladies Organisation in Delhi, Baba Ramdev said, “By 2025, Patanjali will be the biggest FMCG brand in the world.”

Ramdev said he wanted to spend over Rs 1 lakh crore in areas of education, health, research and development in the country. Taking a dig at multinational companies, he said global firms like HUL, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble have done nothing for India but his company wanted to spend revenue earned through Patanjali for charity work.

पोषण माह अभियान : महाराष्ट्राला १४ पुरस्कार

केंद्रीय महिला व बाल विकास मंत्रालयाच्यावतीने देशभर राबविण्यात आलेल्या ‘पोषण माह’ कार्यक्रमामध्ये उत्कृष्ट कार्यासाठी महाराष्ट्राला एकूण १४ राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार जाहीर झाले आहेत. यात सर्वाधिक ५ पुरस्कार एकट्या कोल्हापूर जिल्ह्याने पटकाविले आहेत. दिल्लीत १० ऑक्टोबर रोजी या पुरस्कारांचे वितरण होणार आहे.

केंद्रीय महिला व बाल विकास मंत्रालयाच्या पोषण अभियान विभागाच्यावतीने देशभरातील ३६ जिल्हे व केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांमध्ये ‘सप्टेंबर २०१८’ हा पोषण महिना म्हणून साजरा करण्यात आला. यात अगदी गाव पातळीपासून पोषण अभियानाबाबत जागरूकता कार्यक्रम राबविण्यात आले. या कार्यक्रमांची नोंद पोषण अभियानाच्या संकेतस्थळावर करण्यात आली. तसेच या कार्यक्रमाच्या अंमलबजावणीत उत्कृष्ट कार्यासाठी क्षेत्रिय स्तरावर वैयक्तिक आणि जिल्हा स्तरावर सांघिक असे पुरस्कार जाहीर झाले असून महाराष्ट्राला एकूण १४ पुरस्कार जाहीर झाले आहेत. विशेष म्हणजे यात एकट्या कोल्हापूर जिल्ह्यातील ५ महिलांना वैयक्तिक पुरस्कार जाहीर झाले आहेत.

Nagpur : For the first time ever, Maharashtra forest officials have roped in Cane Corso breed of hunter dogs to track down and capture the elusive problem tigress T1 of Pandharkawda who killed two horses recently, reported the Times of India. The old Italian dog breed, developed to guard property, will be handled by Golfer Jyoti Randhawa during the hunt.

Cane Corsos are powerful and athletic dogs and have the ability to hunt wild boars. According to experts, they do not fear tigers and have a very powerful sense of smell.

The cost of one dog is Rs 6 lakh and two of them are being used to track the maneater. They are owned by a Hyderabad-based sharpshooter Nawab Ali Khan.

On Monday, the dogs were made to smell the urine of the tigers from Hyderabad zoo before entering track T1.

“After much deliberations, Cane Corso dogs were deployed in the field on Monday. Golfer and dog trainer Jyoti Randhawa from Delhi will handle these dogs in the field. More team members including Nawab’s son Asgar has also joined the operation,” AK Misra, Principal chief conservator of forest.

गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून अभिनेते नाना पाटेकर जैसलमेरमध्ये साजिद नाडियाडवाला निर्मित ‘हाऊसफुल ४’ या चित्रपटाच्या शूटिंगमध्ये व्यग्र होते. नाना सध्या तनुश्री दत्ता वादात अडकले असले तरी ‘हाऊसफुल ४’मध्ये त्यांच्या भूमिकेबद्दल चाहत्यांमध्ये उत्सुकता होती. नाना या चित्रपटात एका गझल गायकाच्या भूमिकेत दिसणार असल्याची चर्चा सुरू आहे.

‘हाउसफुल ४’ चित्रपटातील नानांची भूमिका गुलदस्त्यात ठेवण्यात आली होती. विनोदी चित्रपट असल्यानं नानांची भूमिकाही विनोदीच असणार आहे यात शंकाच नाही. यापूर्वी देखील ‘वेलकम’सारख्या चित्रपटांमध्ये नानांनी विनोदी भूमिका साकरल्या आहेत. फराह खाननं आपल्या इन्स्टाग्राम अकाऊंटवर ‘हाऊस फुल ४’ टीमचा फोटो शेअर केला आहे. यात नाना पाटेकरदेखील आहेत.

या चित्रपटाच्या शूटिंगसाठी नाना राजस्थानच्या जैसलमेरमध्ये होते. तेथील शूटिंग संपल्यानंतर नाना पाटेकर जोधपूर येथून विमानानं मुंबईत दाखल झाले. मुंबई दाखल होताच पत्रकारांनी त्यांना विमानतळावरच गाठलं. मात्र अजूनही तनुश्री वादावर पूर्णपणे बोलण्यास नानांनी नकार दिला आहे.

6 Dead, 14 Injured In Gas Pipeline Blast At Bhilai Steel Plant

Six people died and 14 were injured in a blast at the Bhilai Steel Plant in Chhattisgarh, about 30 km away from state capital Raipur.

The blast took place in a pipeline near the coke oven section at the steel plant in the town of Bhilai.

Police and a rescue team rushed to the spot after the blast was reported. The people who were injured were taken to a local hospital.

The plant is operated by the state-run Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). SAIL is India’s largest steel-maker.

On June 12, 2014, six workers at the Bhilai Steel Plant died because of an explosion in the blast furnace.

Addressing an electoral rally in Dholpur of Rajasthan, Gandhi stated that under the current Union government, women in India are not safe. Speaking about a BJP MLA from Uttar Pradesh — Kuldeep Sengar — alleged in rape case, Gandhi accused both the UP and Union government of protecting the politician. Gandhi was of the opinion that even “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” has changed to “Beti Padhao, BJP se Beti ko bachao” (teach girls, protect girls from BJP) in PM Modi’s tenure.

He said, “Mr. Modi gave the slogan ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’, but in reality a BJP MLA in UP is accused of raping a woman and is protected by the party.”

Honda Cars India (HCI) has finally rolled out the fifth-generation CR-V SUV in the Indian market. Powering the 2018 CRV diesel model is a newly-developed 1.6L, four-cylinder turbocharged i-DTEC motor that’s good enough for 120bhp at 4,000rpm and 300Nm of torque at 2,000rpm. The petrol variant derives power from a 2.0L unit producing 154bhp at 6,500rpm and 189Nm of torque at 4,300rpm.

3. FUEL ECONOMICAL
While diesel version comes with AWD (all-wheel-drive) system, the petrol model gets FWD (front-wheel-drive) only. Both the powertrain are available with a CVT (petrol) and a 9-speed automatic gearbox (diesel) with paddle shifters. Mileage of the new Honda CRV 2018 petrol stands at 14.4kmpl (ARAI-certified). The diesel version delivers 19.5kmpl with 2WD and 18.3kmpl with 4WD drivetrain system.

Nagpur: The Nagpur Sessions Court on Tuesday granted three-day transit remand of Brahmos engineer Nishant Agarwal to Uttar Pradesh ATS.

Agarwal was arrested on Monday on charges of spying. Agarwal, a DRDO employee, was nabbed for allegedly spying for Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence. He allegedly chatted with Pakistan-based IDs on social media, said Aseem Arun, IG UP ATS.

Agarwal’s personal computer was also seized during a raid at his residence in Nagpur. “Very sensitive info was found on his personal computer…We also found evidence of him chatting on facebook with Pakistan based IDs,” Arun was quoted as saying. Agarwal was working at the Brahmos Unit in Nagpur.

The facility where Agarwal worked makes BrahMos missile fuel. As per media reports, Agarwal had previously leaked sensitive information to the United States as well.

One of the much-awaited films this year, ‘Namaste England’ featuring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra is gearing up for his big release on October 19, 2018. The stars are busy promoting the venture across different cities and this is creating the right kind of buzz ahead of the movie release.

To keep the fans happy and generate enough curiosity, the makers have released a second trailer of ‘Namaste England’ as well. It shows how Arjun crosses all barriers and travels to London just to get his ‘love’ Parineeti Chopra.

‘Namaste England’ features Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Seal in lead roles. It is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 19, 2018.

Arjun and Parineeti have also been roped in for another project, titled ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’. The film is directed by Dibakar Banerjee and is scheduled to be released in March 2019.

नागपुर : शहर के गड्डी गोदाम क्षेत्र के गोवा कॉलोनी झोपड़पटटी के पास वाले रेलवे ट्रैक के बगल में आज सबेरे अंदाजन एक ६ साल के बच्चे का शव बरामद किया गया | यह क्षेत्र सदर पुलिस थाना अंतर्गत आता है, आज सुबह अंदाजन ६ साल के बच्चे का शव रेलवे ट्रैक के बगल में ट्रेक में बिछाए हुए पत्थर (गिट्टी) में कम्बल से ढ़ाकाहुवा दिखाई दिया | बच्चे के शरीर पर कहीं भी किसी प्रकार के जख्म के निशान नहीं पाए गए है, सिर्फ उसके नाक से थोड़ी मात्रा में खून दिखाई दिया है|

प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार शव २४ घंटे पहले का होने का अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है, शहर पुलिस इस घटना को लेकर काफी गंभीर है, पुलिस के पास अभी तक किसी बच्चे की किडनैपिंग, फिरौती की शिकायत किसी थाने में दर्ज नहीं है | पुलिस ने घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर पंचनामा कर शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए हस्पताल भेजा है, घटना को लेकर कई तरह की कहानिया बनाई जा रही है, कुछ लोगो के अनुसार कल पितृ मोक्ष अमावस्या होने के वजह बच्चा किसी के नरबली का शिकार हुवा है | इस गंभीर घटना की जानकारी जुटाने में सदर पुलिस जुटी है, जिसके बाद यह पता लगेगा की सच्चाई क्या है |
