New Delhi : A man-eater tigress named Avni, who was allegedly responsible for the death of 13 people in the Pandharkawda forest in Maharashtra, was on Friday night killed in Yavatmal. The Maharashtra Forest Department had earlier issued shoot-at-sight orders against the tigress.
On October 16, the Bombay High Court’s Nagpur bench had sought reply about the change in the sequence of steps to be taken to address the issue as mentioned in the PCCF’s (Principal Chief Conservator of Forests) order as opposed to the CCF’s (Chief Conservator of Forests) order.
Avni was first spotted in the forests of Yavatmal in 2012 and used to live in Pandharkaoda Forest in Yavatmal district with her two nine-month-old cubs. Environment activists have said that there have been multiple human-animal conflicts in the region due to illegal cattle grazing, encroachment, and expansion of a large private cement factory. According to Maharashtra forest department Avni had killed 13 humans in the past 2 years.
The forest department had even hired controversial marksman Shafat Ali Khan. The tigress was shot by Khan’s son Asghar Ali Khan (35) around 11 pm. According to a report by ToI, the order to shoot the tigress were issued by PCCF (wildlife) AK Misra in the name of Nawab Shafath Ali Khan but he was not present at the spot when the tigress was shot.
DNA evidence had linked her to 5 of the 13 bodies.

नागपूर : केंद्रीय भुपृष्ठ व जहाज राणी मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांनी दोन वर्षांपूर्वी नागपूरच्या नागनदी येथून बोट धावणार व कोराडी, खिंडसी, अंबाझरी तलाव येथे ‘सी प्लेन’ उतरणार अशा प्रकारचे आश्वासन दिले होते. अध्यापही आश्वासनाची पुर्तता झाली नाही. तोच कोराडी, खिंडसी, अंबाझरी तलाव येथे ‘हायब्रिट एअरो बोट’ धावणार असे आणखी एक आश्वासन गडकरी यांनी नागपुरकरांना दिले.

नागपूर : कार्यालयीन गैरहजेरीची रक्कम माफ करण्यासाठी सहा हजारांची लाच स्वीकारणाऱ्या नक्षल विरोधी अभियानाच्या (एएनओ) पोलीस महानिरीक्षक कार्यायातील एका रोखपालाला एसीबीच्या पथकाने अटक केली. नंदकिशोर भाऊदास सोनकुसरे (वय ३२) असे लाचखोर कर्मचाऱ्याचे नाव आहे. या कारवाईमुळे एएनओ कार्यालय परिसरात गुरुवारी एकच खळबळ निर्माण झाली होती.
एसीबीकडे तक्रार करणारे जयवंतनगर, रामेश्वरी परिसरात राहतात. त्यांच्या आईची किडनी खराब झाल्याने गेल्या वर्षी त्यांनी आईच्या औषधोपचाराच्या निमित्ताने अर्जित रजा घेतली होती. अर्जित रजेची मुदत संपल्यानंतरही त्यांना अपरिहार्य कारणामुळे परत कर्तव्यावर हजर होणे शक्य झाले नाही. त्यामुळे ते २२२ दिवस गैरहजर राहिले. त्यातील २६ दिवसांची गैरहजेरी त्यांची परावर्तित रजेत रुपांतरित करण्यात आली. उर्वरित १९७ दिवस त्यांची रजा विनापगारी करण्यात आली. त्यांना तसे कळविण्यात आले. त्यामुळे त्यांनी यूओटीसी कॅम्पसमधील विशेष कृती दल कार्यालयातील रोखपाल नंदकिशोर सोनकुसरे यांची भेट घेतली. सोनकुसरे यांनी गैरहजर (तक्रारदार) कर्मचाऱ्याला ३७ हजार रुपये रिकव्हरी निघत असल्याचे सांगितले. ती माफ करायची असेल तर १२ हजारांची लाच द्यावी लागेल, असेही म्हटले.
तक्रारकर्त्याने सरळ एसीबीचे कार्यालय गाठले. तेथे तक्रार नोंदविल्यानंतर एसीबीच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी सापळा रचला. ठरल्याप्रमाणे तक्रारकर्त्यांनी सोनकुसरे यांच्याशी गुरुवारी संपर्क साधून लाचेची रक्कम एकसाथ देणे शक्य होणार नाही, असे म्हटले. सोनकुसरेने त्यांना दोन टप्प्यात रक्कम मागितली. त्यातील ६ हजारांचा पहिला टप्पा गुरुवारी दुपारी देण्याचे ठरले. तक्रारकर्ते सोनकुसरेंकडे लाचेची रक्कम घेऊन गेले. त्यांनी ती रक्कम स्वीकारताच बाजूला दबा धरून बसलेल्या एसबीच्या पथकाने सोनकुसरेच्या मुसक्या बांधल्या.
New Delhi : Editor-turned-politician MJ Akbar, who had to resign as union minister over sex harassment allegations against him, has now been accused of rape by a US-based journalist who worked with him over two decades ago. MJ Akbar has dismissed the allegations as false, his lawyer told The Washington Post, which has published the first person account of Pallavi Gogoi, an editor at the National Public Radio (NPR).
Pallavi Gogoi writes that MJ Akbar was the Editor-In-Chief at The Asian Age when she joined the newspaper as a “22-year-old star-struck journalist”.She says she was “mesmerized by his use of language and his turns of phrase” and took all the “verbal abuse” as part of the learning process. She soon became the editor of the op-ed page, but ended up paying a “very big price” for the break, she says.
Recounting the horror when she had gone to show him the op-ed page, she writes, “He applauded my effort and suddenly lunged to kiss me. I reeled. I emerged from the office, red-faced, confused, ashamed, destroyed.”
The second incident was a few months later, when during the launch of a magazine, “he called me to his room at the fancy Taj hotel (in Mumbai), again to see the layouts. When he again came close to me to kiss me, I fought him and pushed him away. He scratched my face as I ran away, tears streaming down.”
It was followed by another call from her boss, this time from a hotel in Jaipur. “even though I fought him, he was physically more powerful,” she alleges. The cycle of abuse and assertion of power continued when he “defiled me sexually, verbally, emotionally”, she adds.
Pallavi Gogoi says she had confided in her friends, who were also allegedly assaulted by the author-editor. “I was in shreds emotionally, physically, mentally.”
She wraps her piece with, “I am writing this to support the many women who have come out to tell their truth. I am writing this for my teenage daughter and son. So they know to fight back when anyone victimizes them. So they know never to victimize anyone.”
Over 20 former colleagues of MJ Akbar have come out with their versions of abuse by a powerful newsman. He sued one of them for defamation.
MJ Akbar has accused Priya Ramani, the first woman to call him out, of “intentionally putting forward malicious, fabricated and salacious” allegations to harm his reputation.
After resigning as junior foreign minister on October 17, MJ Akbar said in a statement, “Since I have decided to seek justice in a court of law in my personal capacity, I deem it appropriate to step down from office and challenge false accusations levied against me.”
Ms Ramani said she was ready to fight the defamation complaint and “truth and the absolute truth is my only defence”. Women who have spoken against Mr Akbar “have done so at great risk to personal and professional lives,” she said.
After Ms Ramani more women posted allegations against Mr Akbar. The list includes Prerna Singh Bindra, Ghazala Wahab, Shutapa Paul, Anju Bharti, Suparna Sharma, Shuma Raha, Malini Bhupta, Kanika Gahlout, Kadambari M Wade, Majlie de Puy Kamp and Ruth David.
Nagpur : Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will release around Rs 64 crore towards pending payment of the contractors. Standing Committee has taken the decision to disburse funds of Rs 150 crore received from the State Government.
Virendra Kukreja, NMC’s Standing Committee chief, while talking to mediapersons after a meeting of the committee, stated that presently, around Rs 162 crore dues of contractors are pending. The committee has decided to release 40 per cent of the total dues.
Kukreja also said that all payment would be released by Diwali. “We will spread joy of Diwali festivity among every person working with the local body,” he added.
It may be mentioned that contractors are agitating for last several weeks for their dues pending with the civic body.
Meanwhile, the Standing committee has decided to release pending dues of Rs 14.72 crore to contractors of Aapli Bus. Kukreja said, “We are releasing 100 per cent payment of Transport Department.”
Civic body will also release payment of Rs 13.67 crore to other agencies working with the NMC. The committee has also cleared the proposal to release 40 per cent payment out of total Rs 10.40 crore to the contractors of water tankers. The committee will also release payment of Rs 3 crore out of total dues of Rs 8.47 crore for JNNURM works.
Nagpur : Hudkeshwar police has rounded up two men for allegedly outraging the modesty of a minor and a 49-year-old woman in two separate incidents on Thursday.
In first incident, the accused identified as Rajesh Dinanath Shandilkar (35) lured a 4-year-old girl to his house after promising her goodies. However while he was closing the door a neighbor raised an alarm and alerted victim’s mother. Subsequently they saved victim from the clutches of the accused and approached Hudkeshwar police station.
Hudkeshwar police have booked accused Rajesh under section 354 (A) of IPC and POCSO Act 2012.
In another incident, a 49-year-old woman and her spouse were attacked and abused by her neighbor followed by a land dispute on Thursday evening.
Hudkeshwar police have booked accused Sachin Omkar Shivhare (38) under relevant sections and started the probe.
नागपूर : शिक्षक कहते हैं कि स्कूल परिसर कक्षा को साफ रखा जाना चाहिए , लेकिन वास्तव में, शहर के कुछ हिस्सों में महानगरपालिका व जिल्हा परिषद की स्कूले खुद कचराघर बन चुकी है l कचरा इन विद्यालयों के चारों ओर फैल रहा है और जिसके विपरीत परिणाम छात्रों के स्वास्थ्य पर हो रहा है।
अधिकांश छात्रों को नगरपालिका स्कूल में प्रवेश लेना चाहिए और यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कोई विशेष प्रयास नहीं किया जा रहा है कि कोई भी शिक्षा से वंचित नहीं है, लेकिन हकीकत में, नगर पालिका और कुछ जिल्हा परिषद स्कूलों की स्थिति बहुत खराब है। स्वच्छता अभियान के अंतर्गत शिक्षा विभाग दो साल पहले, स्कूल परिसर की सफाई के बाद, उस समय शहर के कुछ चयनित स्कूल साफ किए गए थे। जिसके बाद इन स्कूलों पर किसी ने ध्यान ही नहीं दिया गया |नगर निगम के कई स्कूल शहर के विभिन्न हिस्सों में मार्च करते समय खराब हो गए थे, जबकि कुछ स्कूलों में जाने वाली सड़क में मिट्टी दिखाई दे रही थी वाठोडा, पारडी, भांडेवाडी, जागनाथ बुधवारी, टेका नाका, कलमना, वर्धमाननगर, नंदनवन, डिप्टी सिग्नल, मंगलवारी, इंदिरानगर, दत्तात्रयनगर, बीडपेठ, मानेवाडा, पारडी, वैष्णवदेवीनगर जैसे इलाकों के पास नगर इन बाहरी सड़कों को आसपास के नगरपालिका स्कूलों में कचरा और मवेशी शेड बनाने के लिए तैयार किये गए है। मंगलवारी और मोमिनपुरा में एरिया में महानगर पालिका की उर्दू माध्यमिक शालाएं शुरू है l चूंकि इस विद्यालय के किनारे खुली जगह है, जहां पर अब लोगों ने कचरा करना शुरू कर दिया है। इस परिसर में रहने वाले नागरिको ने इस संबंध में जोन कार्यालय से शिकायत की। केवल आठ दिन कचरा न उठाने के कारण इससे बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य पर असर पड़ा है। जिसके बाद कोई भी स्वच्छता कर्मचारी स्कूल के पास नहीं आया l कलमना बाजार के पास नगर पालिका और जिला परिषद का एक स्कूल है, और स्कूल के बगल में ठेले खड़े रहते हैं। जिसके बगल में ही कचरा डालने के लिए कूड़ेदान लगाए गए है जिससे कचरा गिरने के बाद स्कूल परिसर में आता है l
पिछले कई सालों से महानगरपालिका की स्कूलों में विद्यार्थियों की संख्या में कमी हुई है l स्थानीय नागरिकों ने कहा कि “अस्वच्छता व स्कूल की जर्जर हालत के कारण स्कूल में छात्रों की संख्या में कमी हुई है” l
महानगरपालिका की शिक्षणाधिकारी संध्या मेडपल्लीवार ने कहा कि ” परिसर की साफ़ सफाई की जिम्मेदारी वहां काम करने वाले सफाई कर्मचारियों की है | हर इलाके के नगरसेवक को यह करना चाहिये l पड़ोस के लोग स्कूल के चारों ओर कचरा डाल रहे हैं। इससे बचा जाना चाहिए। स्वास्थ्य विभाग के साथ, स्कूल जाने से सफाई के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा होगी”। हालांकि स्वच्छता को लेकर कोई भी गंभीर नहीं है यह बात इससे साफ़ जाहिर होती है l

The Union Transport, Shopping and Ganga Rejuvenation Minister Nitin Gadkari and Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri were special guests on the occasion. The 3-day conference has been organised by Institute of Urban Transport under the age is of Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

ग्रीन बस के उपयोग के बाद महानगर पालिका दिवाली के बाद बिजली से चलने वाली बसें शुरू करेंगी l हाल ही में परिवहन विभाग और अधिकारियों की बैठक आयोजित की गई थी l शहर में 2 इलेक्ट्रिक बसे पहुंचेगी और प्रयोगात्मक आधार पर कुछ दिनों तक चलेगी l
महानगर पालिका की परिवहन समिति के सभापति बंटी कुकड़े ने कहा कि ग्रीन बस शुरू करने के लिए अभी चर्चा जारी है l जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप कोई सकारात्मक निर्णय हुआ नहीं है जिसके कारण कंपनी को बसें वापस की जा रही है lदिवाली के बाद दो इलेक्ट्रिक बस शुरू करने की योजना नगर पालिका द्वारा की गई है l
नागपुर : विदर्भात आजही अनेक समस्या असून या समस्या सुटण्यासाठी वेगळ्या विदर्भाची गरज आहे. वेगळा विदर्भ राज्याबाबत १ मे १९६० ला जो निर्णय झाला, त्या निर्णयातील बऱ्याच गोष्टी पाळल्या गेल्या नाहीत. त्यामुळे विदर्भातील सिंचन अनुशेष कायम आहे. याबाबत आपण एनडीएच्या बैठकीत पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्यापुढे वेगळ्या विदर्भाची मागणी करणार आहोत, अशी माहिती केंद्रीय सामाजिक न्याय राज्यमंत्री रामदास आठवले यांनी गडचिरोली येथे दिली.
गुरुवारी आठवले गडचिरोली जिल्हा दौऱ्यावर आले होते. यावेळी त्यांनी पत्रकारांशी संवाद साधला. पुढे ते म्हणाले, वेगळ्या विदर्भाची मागणी योग्य आहे. मात्र मागणी केल्याने ती पूर्ण होणार नसून त्यासाठी आंदोलनाची गरज आहे. त्यामुळे कुणीतरी पुढाकार घेणे गरजेचे आहे. तेव्हाच विदर्भ राज्य वेगळे होईल. गडचिरोली जिल्ह्यात नक्षलवाद ही मुख्य समस्या आहे. नक्षलवाद्यांची मागणी रास्त असो अथवा नसो, हिंसक मार्गाने गरिबांच्या समस्या सुटणार नाही. त्यामुळे नक्षलवाद्यांनी अहिंसेच्या मार्गाने आंदोलन करावे. त्यांनी आत्मसमर्पण करुन विकासाच्या मुख्य प्रवाहात सहभागी व्हावे, असे आवाहनही त्यांनी यावेळी केले.
दरम्यान, त्यांनी जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयात अधिकाऱ्यांची बैठक घेऊन जिल्ह्यातील विकास कामांचा आढावा घेतला. सामाजिक न्याय विभागाच्या योजना प्रभावीपणे राबवून त्या योजनांचा थेट लाभ लाभार्थ्यांना मिळवून देण्याचे निर्देश त्यांनी या बैठकीत दिले आहेत.

The web portal www.psbloansin59minutes.com will enable ‘in principle’ approval for MSME loans within 59 minutes from SIDBI and public sector banks. The Union Government is launching the new initiative to transform the MSME credit space.
Nagpur : Rising fuel prices have led to increase in safari charges at Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. Bowing to pressure from Gypsy driver association, Tadoba administration has raised the Gypsy charges by Rs 500 per trip. Now, tourists will have to pay Rs 2,700 per trip for hiring a Gypsy against earlier charges of Rs 2,200 per trip.
The new rates came into effect from Thursday.
Field director, TATR, NR Pravin confirmed the fare hike but maintained that it is applicable only for safari in core area of the tiger reserve.
Tadoba, famous for regular tiger sighting, is one of the costliest tiger safaris in the country. A total of 60 vehicles are allowed from six gates inside TATR in two trips every day. There is additional quota of 18 vehicles under Tatkal head.
Tourists have to pay Rs 4,000 per Gypsy for booking safari 120 to 60 days in advance on weekdays and Rs 8,000 per vehicle on Saturday and Sunday.
Similarly, for bookings less than 60 days in advance, tourists are charged Rs 1,000 per vehicle and Rs 2,000 per vehicle on weekend. Tatkal charges are Rs 4,000 per vehicle for all days. Apart from this, tourists need to pay Rs 2,700 as Gypsy fare and Rs 350 for the guide.

Nagpur : Recently, a Free Hearing Assessment Camp was held at Orange City Hospital and Research Institute(OCHRI), Nagpur for the benefit of needy children having hearing deficit. Large number of patients from central India took the benefit of this camp. Ms. Neelu Somani, renowned Cochlear Implant Audiologist assisted by Mr. Chandrashekhar Borkar, ASM, RESOUND and Mr. Ashish Dhapke, ASM, COCHLEAR rendered their expert services in this camp. At the outset, camp was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Anup Marar- OCHRI Director. Dr. Deepak Dongre- OCHRI Medical Superintendent was coordinator of the camp.

An early hearing evaluation can lessen the chances of having complications with even speech loss in a hearing impaired child. राज्य स्वास्थ्य निगरानी अधिकारी के मुताबिक राज्य में अब तक स्वाइन फ्लू के कारण 302 लोगों की मौत हो गई है। राज्य के स्वास्थ्य निगरानी अधिकारी प्रदीप अवते ने बुधवार को एएनआई को बताया कि स्वाइन फ्लू से प्रभावित 325 लोगों को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। “इस साल राज्य में स्वाइन फ्लू की वजह से 302 मौतों की सूचना मिली है”। उन्होंने कहा कि 325 लोग अभी भी विभिन्न अस्पतालों में हैं, जिनमें से 22-23 गंभीर स्थिति में हैं और उन्हें वेंटिलेटर पर रखा गया है। “उन्होंने कहा कि 2375 लोग जनवरी से अक्टूबर तक फ्लू विषाणु से प्रभावित हुए है”।
“हालांकि, इस साल स्वाइन फ्लू की वजह से मौतें काफी कम हो गई हैं। 2017 में लगभग 700 लोगों की मौत हो गई थी, लेकिन इस साल मौत की संख्या 302 तक पहुंच गई है। इस साल जुलाई, अगस्त और सितंबर में मामले बढ़े है”
संक्रमणीय बीमारियों के निवारक उपायों और इलाज की व्याख्या करते हुए उन्होंने बताया कि ” मधुमेह व उच्च रक्तचाप
के मरीजों के लिए यह काफी खतरनाक साबित हो सकता है “l “मधुमेह या उच्च रक्तचाप से पीड़ित लोगों को तुरंत डॉक्टरों से परामर्श लेना चाहिए यदि वे कुछ असामान्य खांसी या ठंड विकसित करते हैं क्योंकि उनके स्वास्थ्य की संभावना दूसरों की तुलना में अधिक होती है। यदि बीमारी का पता दो दिन के भीतर लग जाए तो मरीज जल्द ही स्वस्थ हो सकता है l
डॉ अवते ने यह भी सलाह दी कि जिन लोगों को ठंड और खांसी हो, उन्हें सार्वजनिक स्थानों से दूर रहना चाहिए और चिकित्सक से परामर्श करने के बाद दवाई लेनी चाहिए। “जो लोग ठंड और खांसी से पीड़ित हैं उन्हें किसी भी सार्वजनिक स्थान पर नहीं जाना चाहिए। उन्हें सिनेमाघरों में जाने से बचना चाहिए। स्वाइन फ्लू से पीड़ित केवल 5-6 प्रतिशत लोगों को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया जाता है, बाकी घर पर दवाओं से इलाज किया जाता है। हालांकि, किसी भी दवा लेने से पहले डॉक्टरों से परामर्श लें,” यह सलाह डॉ अवते ने दी।

कतर एयरवेज क्यूआर 541 उड़ान पर 100 लोग मौजूद थे जब यह घटना नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर हुई। सभी यात्रियों को सुरक्षित तरीके से प्लेन से निकाल लिया गया और साथ ही इस दुर्घटना में किसी के हताहत न होने की भी जानकारी प्राप्त हुई है | हालांकि विमान को नुकसान होने की खबर है |
एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया (एएआई) के एक अधिकारी ने कहा कि करीब 2.30 बजे, जब यात्री विमान पर चढ़ रहे थे, लैंडिंग गियर के पास, एक पानी टैंकर ने दोहा बाउंड वाले हिस्से से टकराया ।
विमान की तुरंत ही लैंडिंग कर पूरी तरीके से जांच की गई थी और यात्रियों को सुरक्षित रूप से डी-बोर्ड किया गया था। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि दुर्घटना में किसी को कोई भी चोट नहीं पहुंची है। उन्होंने कहा, “उड़ान के सभी 103 यात्रियों को पास के होटल में आवास मुहैया कराया गया है। वे कल (शुक्रवार) दोहा को 3 बजे उड़ान भरेंगे”।
प्रारंभिक निरीक्षण से पता चलता है कि पानी के टैंकर में तकनीकी मुद्दे थे, ब्रेक ठीक से काम नहीं कर रहा था, एएआई अधिकारी ने कहा प्रारंभिक निरीक्षण से पता चलता है कि पानी के टैंकर में तकनीकी खराबी थी, ब्रेक ठीक से काम नहीं कर रहा था। इस बीच, डीजीसीए के एक स्रोत ने कहा कि घटना में एक जांच शुरू की गई है। उन्होंने कहा, “हम पूछताछ रिपोर्ट के आधार पर सुधारात्मक उपाय करेंगे।”
गुवाहाटी : पती मेल्यावर रडली नाही म्हणून पत्नीला आसाममधील एका कोर्टाने जन्मठेपेची शिक्षा दिल्याची धक्कादायक घटना समोर आली आहे. मुख्य म्हणजे सत्र न्यायालयाचा निर्णय आसाम उच्च न्यायालयने कायम ठेवला होता. अखेर सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात या महिलेला न्याय मिळाला आहे.
संबंधित महिलेच्या पतीला कसलाही आजार नव्हता. त्याचा आकस्मिक मृत्यू झाला. ज्या दिवशी मृत्यू झाला, त्या रात्री आरोपी महिला पतीच्या सोबतच होती. मात्र, पतीच्या मृत्यूनंतर तिनं एक टिपूसही गाळला नाही, असं साक्षीदारांनी कोर्टात सांगितलं. परिस्थितीजन्य पुराव्यांचा आधार घेत सत्र न्यायालयाने महिलेला दोषी ठरवून जन्मठेपेची शिक्षा सुनावली. याविरुद्ध तिनं उच्च न्यायालायात दाद मागितली होती. उच्च न्यायालयानेही सत्र न्यायालयाचाच निकाल कायम ठेवला. अखेर तिनं सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात धाव घेतली.
सर्वोच्च न्यायालयानं दोन्ही बाजू ऐकून घेतल्या. त्यानंतर तिला निर्दोष मुक्त करण्यात आलं. केवळ परिस्थितीजन्य पुरावे आणि आरोपी रडली नाही म्हणून तिला दोषी ठरवणं योग्य नाही, असं मत खंडपीठानं नमूद केलं. न्यायमूर्ती आर. एफ. नरीमन व न्या. नवीन सिन्हा यांनी हा निकाल दिला.
रेलवे की ई-टिकट बिक्री के लिए लाइसेंस प्राप्त करने के बाद और फिर उसी लाइसेंस को बचाने के बाद, सैकड़ों नकली ‘उपयोगकर्ता आईडी’ बनाए गए और राज्य में अवैध टिकट बिक्री के प्रकरण सामने आए है।
पिछले साल नागपुर और आसपास के शहरों में 18 स्थानों का इस जांच आयोजन किया गया था और टिकटों का काला बाजार गिरफ्तार किया गया था। इस मामले के बाद ईटिकट की बिक्री में पारदर्शिता के सारे दावे झूठे साबित हुए है|
मध्य रेलवे के नागपुर रेलवे सुरक्षा विभाग ने फर्जी आईडी के द्वारा टिकट बनाने के गोरखधंधे को सबसे पहले उजागर किया है | जिसके बाद इस प्रकरण की जानकारी रेलवे मंडल व आरपीएफ को दी गई | जिसके कारण देशभर में इस मामले को लेकर कारवाई जारी है| इस प्रक्रिया को किसी विशेष प्रकार के सॉफ़्टवेयर की सहायता से टिकट खरीदने के लिए आवश्यक सभी जानकारी खरीदने और टिकट की बिक्री के लिए वेबसाइट खोलने के तुरंत बाद टिकट खरीदने का मामला सामने आया है। इसी व्यक्ति के लिए अलग-अलग नामों के साथ एक नकली उपयोगकर्ता आईडी बनाता है।ऑनलाइन प्रमाणिक टिकट खरीदने के बाद भी खरीददार को टिकट प्राप्त नहीं होता था जिससे उसे वेटिंग लिस्ट में टिकट खरीदना पडता था | फर्जी आईडी के जरिये टिकट

नागपुर, चंद्रपुर और वर्धा में आरपीएफ द्वारा की गई कार्रवाई में, एक एजेंट के पास 200 से 300 नकली आईडी थीं। इसके अलावा, सैकड़ों हजारों को जब्त कर लिया गया है। इस साल के दौरान, देश में 18 स्थान थे, जिनमें से अधिकतर आईआरसीटी अधिकृत एजेंटों ने ऐसा काम किया था। ई-टिकट बिक्री के लिए उनके पास भारतीय रेलवे खानपान और पर्यटन निगम (आईआरसीटीसी) का लाइसेंस था। आईआरसीटीसी के एजेंट के रूप में प्राप्त
आईडी द्वारा विशिष्ट अवधि के लिए विशिष्ट टिकट बुक किए जा सकते हैं जिनमे 300 नकली आईडी थीं। इसके अलावा, सैकड़ों हजारों को जब्त कर लिया गया है। यह सॉफ्टवेयर इसलिए विकसित किया गया था ताकि नकली आईडी कम समय में अधिक टिकटों के लिए बुक की जा सके। टिकट बिक्री केंद्र होने के कारण यह एजेंट अधिकृत होता है |
फर्जी आईडी द्वारा खरीदा गया टिकट अमान्य होता है। खोजे गए सभी टिकट रद्द कर दिए गए थे। नियमानुसार टिकट निरीक्षक के साथ उपयोगकर्ता आईडी की जांच के बाद, कई लोगों को यात्रा के दौरान जुर्माना देना पड़ता था। वरिष्ठ रेलवे डिवीजनल सिक्योरिटी कमिशनर ज्योतिकुमार सीताजा ने कहा कि रेलवे को मामलों को संभालने के लिए साइबर कोशिकाओं को बनाना चाहिए।
ऑनलाइन रेलवे टिकट खरीदने के लिए नाम, आयु, पता और अन्य जानकारी भरने की आवश्यकता है। ब्लैक मार्केटर्स ने इसके लिए एक सॉफ्टवेयर समाधान विकसित किया है। वे नकली ‘उपयोगकर्ता आईडी’ बनाते हैं और सॉफ्टवेयर की मदद से पहले से ही सभी जानकारी रखते हैं। आईआरसीटीसी की बिक्री के लिए खुली जानकारी के आधार पर टिकट खरीदे जाते हैं। यह एक प्रक्रिया जिसके द्वारा प्रमाणिक टिकट खरीदने की अधिक संभावना की पुष्टि की जाती है|
Rahul Dravid became the fifth Indian to be inducted in the ICC Hall of Fame on Thursday as Sunil Gavaskar presented him with the momento prior to the start of the fifth One-Day International between India and West Indies.
