Nagpur: Panicky situation prevailed in Rajendra Nagar locality on Hingna Road as a drum filled with tar suddenly caught fire triggering blast sounds and leaping flames on Monday. Four labourers reportedly received burn injuries and were admitted in nearby Lata Mangeshkar hospital.
Tarring work of road is going on in Rajendra Nagar Locality on Hingna road. The tar drum was kept on the other side of the road. Suddenly, the tar drum caught fire and a thick black smoke started billowing sparking panic among students of the Central Century School, situated very close to the spot.
The school management immediately alerted police and fire brigade control room about the fiery incident. Subsequently, a fire tender from Narendra Nagar fire station rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Four labourers who were working on the tarring road reportedly received burn injuries and were admitted in Lata Mangeshkar Hospital.

Nagpur: Valour of Chhatrapati Sambhaji, who simultaneously fought with different enemies during his rule to protect the motherland, was effectively portrayed in the mega historical play ‘Shivputra Sambhaji’ being staged at Reshimbagh ground on Saturday.
Written by Mahendra Mahadik, the play told the story of Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji. Sambhaji is known in history as the protector of Hindavi swarajya which his father established. Sambhaji had put up a valiant fight against enemies like Mughals and Britishers, besides others, till his death.
The play was organized by Madhyam Lok Seva Pratishthan and Mohan Mate Vichar Parivar.
Dr Amol Kohle, in the lead role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji was a treat to watch as he portrayed the character with passion and recreated the aura that surrounded the Maratha Warrior. Ravi Patwardhan was superb in essaying the role of Aurangzeb.
Stage arrangement, lighting, music, and costumes had a deep impact on the spectators who were watching live an important part of history being recreated.
After inauguration CM Devendra Fadnavis said Chhatrapati Sambhaji will always be known in the annals of history as a learned man who had knowledge of the Vedas, Upanishads and various languages. It was Sambhaji’s relentless efforts that protected the kingdom from alien forces especially after the death of Shivaji Maharaj.

Bollywood star Anil Kapoor, who is set to celebrate his 62nd birthday today, treated his fans with a special gift – a new poster of his upcoming film with his daughter Sonam Kapoor titled Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.
The poster featuring Anil and Sonam having a father-daughter emotional moment, which could be reminiscent of their real-life as well. The upcoming film also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla.
According to reports, the film will be about father-daughter relationship in which a daughter struggles to accepts her father’s love affair. Add to that whispers also suggest that Rajkummar Rao could be playing a homosexual character in the film while Juhi Chawla may be playing Anil Kapoor’s love interest and Sonam Kapoor is playing his daughter.

नागपूर : केयर कंपनीच्या अहवालावरून बँक ऑफ महाराष्ट्रने महापालिकेला ‘ए-निगेटिव्ह’ मार्किंग दिले आहे. त्यामुळे महापालिका आर्थिक संकटात नाही, हे स्पष्ट होते. यामध्ये सुरुवातीला महापालिकेचे रेटिंग ‘बी’ दिसून येत होते. मात्र कागदपत्रांची तपासणी केल्यानंतर ‘बी ++’ ही श्रेणी मिळण्याची शक्यता वाढली. जेव्हा पूर्ण कागदपत्रांची तपासणी केली, तेव्हा महापालिकेला ‘ए-निगेटिव्ह’ रेटिंग देण्यात आले.
महापालिकेला २०० कोटींचे कर्ज हवे होते. त्यासाठी महापालिकेने बँक ऑफ महाराष्ट्रकडे कर्जाची मागणी केली. मात्र बँकेने कर्ज देण्याआधी महापालिकेला त्यांचे रेटिंग मागितले. परिणामी महापालिकेची आर्थिक परिस्थिती खराब नाही, हे निश्चित करण्यासाठी केयर कंपनीकडून महापालिकाने रेटिंग निश्चित करण्यात आले.
ए-निगेटिव्ह रेटिंग मिळाल्याने आता कर्ज घेण्यासाठी एकाचवेळी रक्कम डिपॉझिट करून ठेवण्याची गरज पडणार नाही, असे स्थायी समितीचे अध्यक्ष वीरेंद्र कुकरेजा यांनी सांगितले.

यावेळी बोलताना सुधाकर कोहळे म्हणाले, शहरातील सर्व नद्या व तलाव ही आपली संपत्ती आहे. ही स्वच्छ ठेवणे हे आपले कर्तव्य आहे. नागरिकांच्या सहकार्यानेच तलावाची स्वच्छता ही शक्य आहे. सक्करदरा तलाव हे दक्षिण नागपूरचे भूषण आहे. दक्षिण नागपुरातील हा एकमेव तलाव स्वच्छ ठेवण्यासाठी या भागातील नागरिक नेहमी जागरूक राहतात. गणेशोत्सवाच्या काळात या तलावात एकही मूर्ती विसर्जीत झाली नाही. परंतू काही काळानंतर त्याठिकाणी जलपर्णी तयार झाली आहे. त्यातील जलपर्णी व गाळ काढण्याचे काम करून हा तलाव पूर्णपणे स्वच्छ करण्यात येणार आहे. परिसरातील सौदर्यींकरण व स्वच्छता यासाठीचा 27 कोटीचा प्रस्ताव हा शासनाकडे पाठविण्यात आलेला आहे. या प्रस्तावाचा मी स्वःता पाठपुरावा करत आहे, असेही त्यांनी प्रतिपादित केले.
माजी अटलबिहारी वाजपेयी यांच्या जन्मदिनानिमित्त 22 डिसेंबर ते 25 डिसेंबर या दरम्यान अटल सेवा सप्ताह या कार्यक्रमाअंतर्गत सक्करदरा तलाव स्वच्छता अभियान राबविण्यात आले आहे. यावेळी शालेय विद्यार्थी उपस्थित होते. दररोज तीन दिवस शालेय विद्यार्थी या ठिकाणी स्वच्छेतेसंदर्भात जनजागृती करणार असल्याची माहिती आमदार सुधाकर कोहळे यांनी दिली.
PM Narendra Modi released this morning a commemorative coin worth Rs 100 in honour of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who died in August this year. The coin was released a day before Vajpayee’s 94th birth anniversary.
Speaking at an event to release the coin in the memory of Vajpayee, PM Modi said, “The mind is not ready to believe that Atal Ji is no longer with us. He was a stalwart loved and respected across all sections of society.”
“As a speaker, he was unparalleled. He is among the best orators our nation has produced,” PM Modi also said. “The party which Atalji built has become among the largest political parties. Generations of Karyakartas were fortunate to be mentored by him.”
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Minister of State for Culture Mahesh Sharma, BJP national president Amit Shah and veteran BJP leader and Vajpayee’s contemporary LK Advani were also present at the event to release a coin in the memory of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The commemorative coin features the Emblem of India on the front face. The words Satyamev Jayate are inscribed below the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in Devanagri script. Also inscribed on the coin are the words ‘Bharat‘ in Devanagri and ‘India’ in Roman script.
The coin’s value — Rs 100 — is also inscribed below the national emblem.
The reverse side of the coin features a portrait of Atal Bihari Vajapyee and his name inscribed in both Devanagari and Roman. The years 1924 and 2018 are inscribed below Vajpayee’s portrait to mark the year of his birth and death respectively.
नागपूर : नागपूर महानगरपालिका आणि कोशु-कुंग-फू-स्पोर्ट असोशिएशन यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने हनुमान नगर येथील ईश्वर देशमुख सभागृह येथे आयोजित महापौर चषक कोशु-कुंग-फू कराटे राष्ट्रीय स्पर्धेचे उद्घाटन मनपाचे क्रीडा सभापती नागेश सहारे यांच्या हस्ते झाले.यावेळी नगरसेविका लताताई काटगाये, मनपाचे क्रीडा अधिकारी नरेश सवाईथूल, क्रीडा निरीक्षक नरेश चौधरी, कोशु-कुंग-फू-स्पोर्ट असोशिएशनचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. विनोद राऊत, उपाध्यक्ष बाळासाहेब देसाई, सचिव विजय मदनकर, सुरेश चौधरी, दिलीप अलिये, मनोहर रसाळ, मयूर राऊत, रचना श्रीखंडे, जगदीश पाटील, अजय श्रीखंडे, सतीश शर्मा उपस्थित होते.दीपप्रज्वलन करून स्पर्धेचे उद्घाटन करण्यात आले. यावेळी उद्घाटनपर भाषणात बोलताना क्रीडा सभापती नागेश सहारे म्हणाले, शहरात क्रीडाविषयक वातावरण तयार व्हावे यासाठी केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांनी खासदार क्रीडा महोत्सवाचे आयोजन केले. यामुळे नागपुरात खेळविषयक चांगले वातावरण तयार झाले. मनपाच्या माध्यमातूनही अशा राष्ट्रीय स्पर्धांचे आयोजन करून राष्ट्रीय स्तरावरच्या खेळाडूंचा खेळ बघण्याची संधी क्रीडा प्रेमींना देण्यात येत आहे. कराटे स्पर्धेचा लाभ नागपूरकरांनी घ्यावा, असे आवाहन त्यांनी केले.

Nagpur : Krishnarao Ramaji Pandav (Patil), a senior Congress leader and former Mayor of Nagpur, passed away on Saturday. He was 88. Born on November 30, 1934, Pandav formed Sanmarg Education Society and established a total of 45 educational institutions across State. His political career started in the year 1969 when he was elected as corporator and became Deputy Mayor in year 1970, Chairman of Standing Committee and Education Committee of NMC in the year 1971 and 1972 respectively.
He bacame Mayor in 1973. Pandav was Member of Legislative Council (MLC) for year 1982-88 and year 1988-94. While he was President of Nagpur City District Congress Committee, he was elevated to the post of General Secretary of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee in year 1980-81.
He had close associations with former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Vasantrao Sathe and Nirmala Deshpande. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had felicitated him with ‘Jivan Gaurav Puraskar’. Pandav leaves behind sons – Girish and Kiran, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn the loss. Funeral procession will start from Flat No. 3, Sanchayati Loknath Tower, near Ramkrishna Math, Dhantoli, on Sunday at 12 noon and proceed to Radhikatai Pandav Engineering College, Umred Road. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited Pandav’s residence and expressed condolences. MLA Sudhakar Kohale and Pravin Datke also were present.
Nagpur: Waking up to the condition of Sakkardara lake which has been entirely covered with weeds giving no trace of water body, the Nagpur Municipal corporation (NMC) has finally decided to clean the lake which was once the beauty spot in the area.
NMC Will taking up the task in association with Clean Foundation, Patanjali Yog Samiti, and Sonzari Mitra Mandal to mark Atal seva saptah between December 22 and 25.
The decision related to the drive was taken in a meeting held on December 21. BJP city president and South Nagpur MLA Sudhakar Kohle, Leader of opposition Tanaji Wanave, Chairperson of Nehru Nagar zone Ria Mule, Deepraj Nilawar from Clean Foundation, Ishwar Dhurde from Sakkardara Beautification committee and others were present. Kohlw urged citizens to participate in the drive in large numbers. The drive will kick off at 9 am on December 22.
प्रत्यक्षदर्शींच्या माहितीनुसार दुचाकीवरुन २ तरुण बुट्टीबोरी वरुन नागपूरच्या दिशेने येत होते. यावेळी पुढे जाणाऱ्या बसला ओव्हर टेक करीत असताना त्यांचे अचानक संतुलन बिघडले आणि दोन्ही तरुण दुचाकीवरुन खाली पडले. मागून येणाऱ्या सविरा ट्रॅव्हल्स (एम.एच. ४० वाय. २११५) च्या खाली आल्याने एकाचा मृत्यू झाला तर दुचाकी चालविणारा तरुण जखमी असल्याची माहिती आहे.
महामार्गावर अपघात झाल्याने वाहनांच्या रांगाच लागल्या आणि काही वेळेसाठी दोन्ही बाजूची वाहतूक कोलमडली होती. घटनेची माहिती मिळताच बुट्टीबोरी पोलीस घटना स्थळी दाखल झाले आहेत. पोलिसांनी मृतदेह शवविच्छेदनासाठी पाठविले असून सविरा ट्रॅव्हल्स पोलिसांनी ताब्यात घेतली आहे. तसेच अपघाताप्रकरणी तक्रार दाखल करण्यात आली आहे.
Nagpur : For the first time, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has its credit rating assessed from an independent agency and it has got a high rating.
Virendra Kukreja, Chairman of Standing Committee of NMC, told on Friday evening that NMC had got an impressive ‘A -’ rating, which, he said, “is not achieved by many big corporate houses in the country.”
Informing the reporters about this, Kukreja said that the high credit rating had cleared the path for NMC to get Rs 200 crore loan from Bank of Maharashtra, which is the nodal agency. “We got the rating assessed through a reputed agency CARE Ratings. Initially, the agency said that the credit rating could be ‘B’. However, on our request, when the agency examined the documents and NMC’s records carefully, they have given us ‘A -’ rating. It is considered very impressive even for corporates,” he said.
Asked about NMC’s financial health, Kukreja said that credit rating indicated that the situation was ‘improving’. “We have been able to streamline the finances of NMC. Though NMC will need loan or funds for big projects at hand, I can say that most of the dues of contractors have been settled,” he stressed.
According to him, NMC had paid Rs 150 crore to contractors before Diwali, and Rs 135 crore later on. Within a fortnight, NMC will clear payments to the tune of Rs 50 crore to contractors.
“Once that is done, NMC will have cleared all the dues of contractors till the month of October 2018,” he said. The bills of Rs 27 crore only will remain to be paid as those are under process, he added. Earlier in the day, Kukreja chaired a meeting of Standing Committee. In the meeting, he said, the committee had give administrative approval to proposals worth Rs 9.25 crore, and also cleared tenders of Rs 3.01 crore.
नागपूर : दुष्काळ घोषित झालेले 151 तालुके आणि 268 महसुली मंडळांमधील नळ योजनेच्या थकीत वीजबिलांवरील दंड व्याज माफ करण्याचा निर्णय राज्य सरकारने घेतला आहे, अशी माहिती राज्याचे ऊर्जामंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी पत्रकार परिषदेत दिली.
राज्यातील नगरपालिका, नगरपंचायत, ग्रामपंचायत, महाराष्ट्र जीवन प्राधिकरणांतर्गत येणाऱ्या दुष्काळी भागांमध्ये वीजबील थकित असल्यामुळे नळ योजना बंद आहे. त्यामुळे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी नळ योजनेचे थकित दंड व्याज माफ करण्याच्या सूचना दिल्या होत्या. यावर निर्णय झाला असून आज हे दंड व्याज माफ करण्यात आले आहे, असे चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे म्हणाले. दंड व्याजाची रक्कम पाचशे कोटींच्या घरात असल्याचेही ते म्हणाले. मदत व पुनर्वसन विभाग मुद्दलाची पाच टक्के रक्कम म्हणजेच 38 कोटी 78 लाख रुपये भरणार असल्याने नळ योजना सुरू करण्याचे आदेश महावितरणला देण्यात आल्याचेही त्यांनी सांगितले.
दुष्काळी भागातील नळ पाणीपुरवठा योजनांचा खंडित वीजपुरवठा तत्काळ सुरू करण्याची कार्यवाही करावी, असे पत्र ऊर्जा विभागाने महावितरण व्यवस्थापकांना दिले आहे. यासोबतच एकूणच दुष्काळी भागाचे नोव्हेंबर 2018 ते जून 2019 या कालावधीतील आठ महिन्यांचे वीजबील टंचाई निधीतून भरण्याच्या निर्णयालाही मंजुरी देण्यात आल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.
नागपूर : माध्यम लोकसेवा प्रतिष्ठान व मोहन मते मित्र परिवार यांच्यावतीने आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या ऐतिहासिक महानाट्य ‘शिवपुत्र संभाजी‘ चा प्रयोग २२ डिसेंबरपासून रेशीमबाग मैदानावर सादर करण्यात येणार आहे. केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री राजनाथ सिंग आणि मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या उपस्थितीत महानाट्याला सुरुवात होणार आहे.
महाराजा शंभू छत्रपती प्रोडक्शन पुणे निर्मित ऐतिहासिक महानाट्य शिवपुत्र संभाजीचे प्रयोग २२ डिसेंबरपासून ते २८ डिसेंबरपर्यंत आयोजित करण्यात आले आहे. हे महानाट्य सर्वांसाठी नि:शुल्क आहे. शिवशंभू शाहीर महेंद्र महाडिक लिखित, दिग्दर्शित या महानाट्यात संभाजींच्या भूमिकेत डॉ. अमोल कोल्हे आहे. रवी पटवर्धन औरंगजेबाची भूमिका साकारत आहे. चिन्मय सत्यजीत यांनी या नाटकाला संगीत दिले असून गीत अॅड. महेंद्र महाडिक, दत्तात्रय सोनवणे, रोहित पंडित यांनी लिहिले आहे.

महानाट्यासाठी रेशीमबाग मैदानावर १३० फुटांचा भव्य रंगमंच उभारण्यात आला आहे. ८० फूट लांब व ५५ फूट उंच किल्ल्याची सरकती व फिरती हुबेहुब प्रतिकृती तयार करण्यात आली आहे. हत्ती, घोडे, उंट, बैलबंडी या नाटकात पाहायला मिळणार आहे. मराठे व मुघलांच्या तलवारीच्या खणखणात आणि तोफांच्या गडगडात व अग्नीबाणांच्या वर्षावात घनघोर रणसंग्राम, पालखी व रोज्यभिषेक सोहळा, १८ फूट जहाजाचा वापरकरून रोमांच उभे करणारी शंभूछत्रपतींची किल्ले जंजिरा मोहीम प्रेक्षकांना प्रत्यक्ष अनुभवता येणार आहे. २५० नाट्यकलावंत या महानाट्यात भूमिका साकारणार असल्याचे मोहन मते यांनी सांगितले.
नागपूर : प्रत्येक नागरिकाला मुलभूत सुविधा मिळणे हा त्यांचा हक्क आहे. या सुविधा प्रदान करताना अनेक अडथळे उद्भवतात. मात्र नागरिकांच्या सुविधेसाठी मुलभूत सुविधांमध्ये निर्माण होणारे अडथळे तातडीने दूर करा, असे निर्देश महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी दिले.
महापौरांनी नागपूर शहरातील नागरिकांच्या झोननिहाय समस्या जाणून घेण्यासाठी महापौर आपल्या दारी हा उपक्रम सुरू केला आहे. याअंतर्गत महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी सतरंजीपुरा झोनमधील प्रभाग क्रमांक ५, २० व २१ मधील नागरिकांशी भेट घेऊन तेथील समस्या जाणून घेतल्या. यावेळी उपमहापौर दीपराज पार्डीकर, सतरंजीपुरा झोन सभापती यशश्री नंदनवार, वैद्यकीय सेवा व आरोग्य समिती सभापती मनोज चापले, जलप्रदाय समिती सभापती विजय झलके, ज्येष्ठ नगरसेवक प्रवीण भिसीकर, संजय चावरे, संजय महाजन, रमेश पुणेकर, नगरसेविका अभिरूची राजगिरे, शकुंतला पारवे, अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम जोशी, सहायक आयुक्त विजय हुमने, प्रकाश वराडे, आरोग्य अधिकारी (स्वच्छता) डॉ. सुनील कांबळे, यांच्यासह ओसीडब्ल्यूचे कर्मचारी व संबंधित विभागाचे अधिकारी प्रामुख्याने उपस्थित होते.
बुधवारी महापौरांनी सतरंजीपुरा झोनमधील परिसर, बारसेनगर पाचपावली, शोभाखेत, ठक्करग्राम, इतवारी नगरपुरा, झाडे चौक, शांती नगर, लेंडी तलाव या परिसराला भेटी दिल्या व तेथील नागरिकांच्या समस्या जाणून घेतल्या.
बारसेनगर पाचपावली येथील भीम ज्योती बुद्ध विहारात भगवान गौतम बुद्ध व डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या प्रतिमांना माल्यार्पण अभिवादन करून महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी दौऱ्याला सुरूवात केली. बारसेनगर परिसरात नळाला रात्री ९ ते १० या वेळेत पाणी पुरवठा होत असतो. ती वेळ बदलून दिवसाला पाणी पुरवठा करण्यात यावा. तसेच रात्री परिसरात असामाजिक तत्त्वांचा वावर असल्याने रात्रीला घराबाहेर पडणाऱ्या महिलांच्या सुरक्षेसाठी परिसरात पोलिस गस्त लावणे व दादरा पुलावर दोन सीसीटीव्ही कॅमेरे लावण्याचे निर्देश यावेळी महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी दिले. बारसेनगर येथील रेल्वे रूळावरील दादरा पूल तुटल्याने नागरिकांना ये-जा करण्यासाठी त्रास सहन करावा लागतो. या ठिकाणी पादचारी पूल निर्माण करण्यासाठी आवश्यक प्रक्रिया त्वरित पूर्ण करण्याचे निर्देशही महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी यावेळी दिले.
झोनमधील पाचपावली शोभाखेत येथील कर्मवीर शिंदे उच्च प्राथमिक शाळा मागील पाच वर्षांपासून बंद पडली आहे. शाळेच्या इमारतीचा उपयोग करून नागरिकांच्या सुविधेसाठी करण्याची मागणी यावेळी परिसरातील नागरिकांच्या वतीने करण्यात आली. शाळेच्या इमारतीमधील विकास कामासंबंधीचा प्रस्ताव येत्या सोमवारी (ता. २४) होणाऱ्या पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांच्या जनसंवाद कार्यक्रमात सादर करणे. शोभाखेत पाचपावली गोंडपुरा येथील व्यायामशाळेच्या परिसरात सौंदर्यीकरण करून या ठिकाणी बिरसा मुंडा यांच्या पुतळ्याची प्रतिष्ठापना करण्याची मागणी यावेळी नागरिकांनी केली. परिसरात लालबहादूर शास्त्री उद्यानालगत मोठ्या प्रमाणात अतिक्रमण असून या ठिकाणी कचऱ्याचीही समस्या आहे. या ठिकाणचे अतिक्रमण काढून कचऱ्याची स्वच्छता करण्यात यावी, असेही महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी निर्देशित केले.
ठक्करग्राम येथे सार्वजनिक शौचालय जीर्णावस्थेत असून ते वापरण्यायोग्यही नाहीत. या जागेमध्ये समाजभवन निर्माण करण्याची मागणी नागरिकांनी केली. यासंबंधी आवश्यक प्रक्रिया पूर्ण करून प्रस्ताव सादर करण्याचे निर्देश महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी दिले.
इतवारी नगरपुरा येथील दिगंबर जैन परवार ट्रस्टच्या कार्यालयामध्येही महापौर नंदा जिचकार, उपमहापौर दीपराज पार्डीकर यांच्यासह मान्यवरांनी भेट दिली. यावेळी परिसरातील नागरिकांनी विविध समस्यांचे महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांना निवेदन सादर केले. ट्रस्टच्यावतीने सर्व मान्यवरांचे यावेळी स्वागत करण्यात आले. शांतीनगर तुळशीबाग परिसरातील रस्त्यांची अवस्था वाईट असल्याने या ठिकाणी हॉट मिक्स विभागाकडून डांबरीकरणाचा थर देण्याचेही महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी निर्देशित केले. शांतीनगर येथील उद्यानातील विहिरीमधील गाळ काढून काही दिवसांपासून तो तसाच ठेवण्यात आल्याने महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी संबंधित विभागाच्या अधिकाऱ्यांना फटकारत गाळ त्वरित हटविण्याचे निर्देश दिले.
Nagpur : Three labourers engaged in painting the railway bridge at Kanhan suffered injuries after they fell 50 feet down, on Thursday morning. The angle supporting the trio broke leading to the mishap, is the primary conclusion by the authorities.
The railway bridge over Kanhan river on Mumbai-Howrah line was being given a coat of paint. As the angle failed to sustain weight of three labourers, the trio came crashing down and sustained serious injuries.
The labourers were standing on a temporary scaffolding with a tin placed on it on. As river bed was dry, the labourers banged on stones and sand below. They were rushed to a private hospital in Kamptee. The injured are identified as Subhash Malik (23), Ranjit Mandal (23) and Rajesh Bair (22), all residents of Diamond Market, Kolkata.
Railway officials informed that Subhash sustained injury on left leg while Ranjit fell down ‘stomach first’ and sustained serious injuries while Rajesh received injuries on face with fractures. The trio was engaged by contractor Siddeshwar Haldar. Sources said, safety norms were not adhered to by the contractor. Had the labourers provided safety belt they could have saved from free fall 50 feet below.
नागपूर : नागपूर महानगरपालिका उद्यान विभागाने सुरू केलेल्या मोहिमेअंतर्गत गुरुवारी (ता. २०) लक्ष्मीनगर झोनअंतर्गत असलेल्या विविध झाडांवरील जाहिरात फलके कर्मचारी आणि स्वयंसेवकांनी काढली.
झाडांवर जाहिरात फलके लावणाऱ्या सुमारे ४४ जणांना मनपाच्या कारवाईला सामोरे जावे लागणार आहे. नागपूर महानगरपालिका आणि ग्रीन व्हिजील फाऊंडेशनने ही मोहीम हातात घेतली आहे. पहिल्या टप्प्यात धरमपेठ झोनमध्ये राबविण्यात आलेल्या मोहिमेनंतर आज गुरुवारी लक्ष्मीनगर झोनमधील झाडांवरील फलके काढण्यासाठी पुढाकार घेण्यात आला.
उद्यान विभागाचे कर्मचारी, लक्ष्मीनगर झोनचे कर्मचारी आणि ग्रीन व्हिजील फाऊंडेशनच्या स्वयंसेवकांनी लक्ष्मीनगर झोन कार्यालय ते श्रद्धानंदपेठ, माटे चौक ते प्रतापनगर चौकादरम्यान असलेल्या झाडांवरील सुमारे ४४ फलके काढलीत. झाडांवर जाहिरात फलक लावून त्यांना इजा करणे हे महाराष्ट्र प्रोटेक्शन ॲण्ड प्रिझर्व्हेशन ऑफ ट्री ॲक्ट १९७५ अंतर्गत गुन्हा आहे. अशी फलके लावणाऱ्या ४४ लोकांना नोटीस पाठविण्यात येणार असल्याचे उद्यान विभागाचे सल्लागार सुधीर माटे यांनी सांगितले.
झाडांना खिळे ठोकल्यामुळे ज्या भागातून झाडांचे अन्न आणि पाणी प्रवाहित होते त्या भागाला इजा होते. इतकेच नव्हे तर झाड सडते. त्यामुळे झाडांवर जाहिरात फलक लावू नये, असे ते म्हणाले. शहरात ज्यांनी झाडांवर अशा प्रकारची जाहिरात फलके लावलेली आहेत त्यांनी ती तातडीने काढावीत, असे आवाहन उद्यान विभागातर्फे यावेळी करण्यात आले. लक्ष्मीनगर झोनअंतर्गत राबविण्यात आलेल्या मोहिमेमध्ये उद्यान विभागाचे सल्लागार सुधीर माटे, नंदकिशोर शेंडे, गुणवंत पिंपळकर, संदीप सेलोकर, प्रणय गोंडोणे, लक्ष्मीनगर झोनचे चंद्रशेखर कांबळे, ग्रीन व्हिजील फाऊंडेशनचे संस्थापक कौस्तभ चॅटर्जी, सुरभी जैस्वाल, मेहुल कोसुरकर, कल्याणी वैद्य, बिष्णुदेव यादव, राजश्री गुप्ता सहभागी झाले होते.
नागपूर : न्यायालय परिसरातच आरोपीने वकिलावर कुऱ्हाडीने वार केल्याची धक्कादायक घटना घडली आहे. तसेच हल्ल्यानंतर आरोपीने स्वत:विष पिऊन आत्महत्या केली आहे. या घटनेत दोघेही गंभीर असून त्यांना उपचारासाठी रुग्णालयात दाखल करण्यात आले आहे. सदानंद नारनवरे असे हल्लामध्ये गंभीर जखमी झालेल्या वकिलाचे नाव आहे. तर लोकश भास्कर असे मृत हल्लेखोराचे नाव आहे.
नारनवरे हे विधी महाविद्यालयाचे निवृत्त प्राध्यापक आहेत. तर त्याच्यावर हल्ला करणारा हल्लेखोर हा देखील वकील असल्याची माहिती सूत्रांनी दिली. या प्रकरणी पोलिसांनी आरोपी विद्यार्थ्यांला अटक करून रुग्णालयात दाखल केले. मात्र, उपचारा दरम्यान आरोपीचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. जीवघेणा हल्ल्याची ही थरारक घटना आज सायंकाळी साडेपाच वाजताच्या सुमारास घडली आहे. या घटनेमध्ये वकील नारनवरे गंभीर जखमी आहेत.

Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for the upcoming ‘Men In Black International film‘ featuring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.
The trailer of the spin-off from the original Men In Black trilogy of the nineties was released on Thursday, December 20, 2018.
The movie features Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson as the new agents.
Both actors will play the new roles of Agent H and P. Hemsworth will star as Agent H in the film, while Tessa Thompson will play Agent P.
Emma Thompson will return as Agent O, while Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall and Rebecca Ferguson will also appear in the film, directed by Fast and Furious 8 director, F. Gary Gray.
The new trailer sees Hemsworth and Thompson working at the Men In Black’s London office before heading out to solve a murder case across the galaxies.
Few released details about the ‘Men in Black international’ plot show that it will be a murder-mystery and will involve a mole inside the MiB organisation.
The trailer also nods to original Men in Black stars, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, who starred in the original trilogy which began in 1997.
Nagpur : In a major development that could change city’s landscape, MahaMetro Nagpur and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for construction of ‘Metro Mall’ on Orange City Street, next to Jai Prakash Nagar Metro Station.
The MoU was signed by MahaMetro managing director Brijesh Dixit and municipal commissioner Abhijit Bangar at Metro House. Considering quality and pace of its work, MahaMetro Nagpur has already been assigned some of city’s major projects, including including development of road opposite Nagpur railway station and Futala Lake.
The Metro Mall is the first step towards development of city’s famed Orange City Street Project. Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari had recently publicly appreciated MahaMetro’s work and asked it to be a part of Orange City Street Project.
The mall, once completed, is expected to attract many commercial establishments and also other utility projects on the stretch of land adjoining it. The mall has been conceptualized by NMC and will come up on street connecting Wardha Road and Jaitala.
As per the MoU, NMC will hand over the land to Metro well in time for execution of the work. Metro would hand over the mall to NMC soon after the construction is over. The ownership of the mall would lie with the civic body.
Most importantly, the proposed mall and Jai Prakash Nagar Metro Station will be inter-connected on the third floor. The mall is proposed on 3,308.767 square metres land. The total built-up area would be 10,005.83 sq m. It will be an eight storey structure and 45 metres in height.
There will be the huge parking space in two basements where at a time visitors can keep 49 cars, 98 scooters and bicycles each The project has been titled ‘Development of Metro Mall on Plot 1 of Orange City Street Project, adjacent to Jai Prakash Nagar Metro Station, on Deposit Work Basis”.
Nagpur : To expedite the work of 700 km long Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg which is expected to be a game changer for Vidarbha and Marathwada region, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has handed over a sum of Rs 250 crore to the Maharashtra State Roads Development Corporation (MSRDC) for land acquisition of Samruddhi Mahamarg in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday.
Industries Minister Subhash Desai handed over the cheque to Public Works Minister Eknath Shinde. Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of MSRDC Radheshyam Mopalwar and Chief Accounts and Finance Officer of MIDC Ravindra Sawant were present on the occasion. MSRDC has already received all permissions required for Nagpur-Mumbai Communication Super Expressway including Environment Clearance.
Samruddhi Mahamarg has 450 under and over passes that include forest and agriculture corridors. The project cost is estimated to be Rs 46,000 crore, which includes Rs 10,000 crore for land acquisition, Rs 26,138 crore for engineering works, Rs 2,590 crore as a provision to accommodate possibility of cost escalation, Rs 6,427 crore for payment of interest on borrowings and expenditure on financial institutions etc. Already 92 per cent land acquisition is over and a total of 10,000 hectares of land in 10 districts has been acquired in last eight months. The project is divided in 16 parts through Engineering, Procurement and Construction agreement (EPC) and the Letter of Authorisation (LOA) has been issued to all 16 contractors.
Various corporations like MIDC, Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), SRA, MMRDA, and CIDCO are also contributing share capital of Rs 5500 crore for this dream project. The MIDC has already advanced an amount of Rs 1000 crore to MSRDC. MHADA has also paid its share of Rs 1,000 crore. Samruddhi Mahamarg will start from Shivmadka village in Nagpur district, and will join Mumbai-Vadodara Expressway at Wadpe in Thane district.
Major connecting points in Vidarbha include Shivmadka, Butibori, Seloo, Pulgaon, Teli, Pulgaon, Dhamangaon Railway, Nandgaon Khandeshwar, Karanja Lad, Seloo Bazar, Malegaon Jahangir, Mehkar, Bibi, Sindkhed Raja.
नागपूर : कळमना हद्दीतील नर्मदा नगरातील एका तरुणाला इंजीनिअरची नोकरी लावून देतो, असे अमिष दाखवून तिघांनी संगनमत करीत तब्बल ९० हजाराला गंडा घातल्याचा प्रकार समोर आला. भोजराज यशवंत घागरे (वय ४०) असे फसवणूक झालेल्या युवकाचे नाव आहे. भोजराज यांना अभिमन्यू राव, शकील अली, शिवम या तिघांनी इंजीनिअरची नोकरी लावून देतो, असे आमिष दाखविले. त्यासाठी त्यांनी भोजराज यांना काही माहिती मागितली. त्यानंतर या तिघांनी भोजराज यांच्याकडून एटीएमचा पीन क्रमांक काढून घेतला. काही क्षणातच त्यांना खात्यातून ८९ हजार ६४६ रुपये कमी झाल्याचा मेसेज आला. याप्रकरणी भोजराज यांनी कळमना पोलिसांत दिलेल्या तक्रारीवरून फसवणुकीचा गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे.
Nagpur : Following the illegal trade and transport of gutkha, paan masala, flavoured tobacco, flavoured betel nuts and kharra which are banned in Maharashtra, the State Government has decided to cancel the registration of vehicles used for transportation of gutkha and also rescind driving licenses of the drivers driving such vehicles with immediate effect.
The government has informed the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), police and other agencies to deal strictly with all those engaged in clandestine sale and transportation of gutkha despite ban. According to Shashikant Kekre, Joint Commissioner (Food) FDA Nagpur Division, a meeting of transporters was held at the office of FDA on Wednesday and the transporters were made aware about the decision taken by Maharashtra Government. Sale and consumption of gutkha was banned since July 2012, throughout the State.
In the last budget session of the State legislature, it was announced that sale of gutkha would be made a non-bailable offence and the punishment for the offence would be enhanced to three years, from existing six months.
Kekre said, “We have already communicated to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) to take action against the owners and drivers of the vehicles impounded by us.”
Maharashtra Government has banned production, sale, transport, storage and distribution of gutkha, paan masala and flavoured tobacco as well as betel nuts in the State with effect from July 20, 2018. Still, it was observed that these products were entering in the State with illegal transportation.
The Regional Transport Office has been authorised along with FDA to take action against the transporters. The copies of Government Resolution (GR) were distributed to the transporters, he added. Government has empowered the Transport Officers to conduct checking of vehicles transporting these banned products.
RTO can take action against the vehicles under Section 19 (1) (c) of the Motor vehicle Act 1988 and registration and driving licences of the vehicles carrying the banned items. RTO can check the vehicles on the State boundaries and if these banned products have been found in the vehicle, they can immediately cancel the registration and licence.
Also they can inform Food Safety Officers (FSO) about the seizure, informs a GR. Kekare has appealed to the citizens to inform FDA in case they find production, storage, transportation and distribution of gutkha, paan masala, flavoured tobacco, betel nuts etc. in city and in Vidarbha.
नागपुर : उपराजधानी में पिछले कई दिनों से नागराज मंजुले निर्देशित फिल्म ‘झुंड’ की शूटिंग की जा रही है l जिसमे अभिताभ बच्चन मुख्या किरदार निभा रहे है जिसके लिए शूटिंग के दौरान बारिश का सीन शूट करने के बाद बिग बी बीमार हो गए। पता हो अभिताभ बच्चन सोमवार ३ दिसंबर को फिल्म की शूटिंग करने के लिए शहर में पहुंचे थे। शूटिंग मोहन नगर स्थित सेंट जॉन स्कूल में चल रही थी। इस बीच शहर में हुई बारिश तथा ठंड से अमिताभ बच्चन बीमार हो गए और वे वापस मुंबई चले गए हैं।
जानकारी मिली है कि बिग बी २२ दिसंबर को शहर में वापस आएंगे और शेड्यूल के अनुसार बूटीबोरी में शूटिंग करेंगे। बिग बी इसके पहले १९७० में फिल्म ‘परवाना’ की शूटिंग नागपुर में कर चुके हैं। फिल्म ‘झुंड’ के लिए बिग बी द्वारा बारिश के बीच भागते हुए भी एक सीन मोहन नगर स्थित सेंट जॉन स्कूल के सेट पर शूट किया गया था। इस शूट में बिग बी बारिश के पानी से भीगे नजर आ रहे हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि इस सीन के शूट के बाद ही बिग बी बीमार पड़ गए और उन्हें वापस मुंबई जाना पड़ा।
बिग बी का वैसे तो कई बार शहर में आना-जाना हुआ है, लेकिन फिल्म की शूटिंग के लिए वे दूसरी बार नागपुर में आए हैं। इसके पहले १९७० में ‘परवाना’ फिल्म की शूटिंग के लिए बिग बी का उपराजधानी में आना हुआ था, तभी उन्होंने कहा था कि शहर में बहुत सारे ऐसे स्थान हैं, जहां पर फिल्मों की शूटिंग की जा सकती है। ‘झुंड’ की शूटिंग के पहले उन्होंने शूटिंग स्थल का मुआयना किया था। उन्होंने मोहन नगर स्थित सेंट जॉन स्कूल को महत्वपूर्ण सीन्स के लिए चुना।
फिल्म झुंड की शूटिंग शहर के विभिन्न स्थानों पर की जा रही है। सबसे पहले धोबी नगर, मेकोसबाग, सेंट जॉन स्कूल, गोधनी, कामठी के बाद अब अगली शूटिंग का प्लान बूटीबोरी बताया जा रहा है। शहर में इसके अलावा भी कई फिल्मों की शूटिंग की जा रही है। बहुत सारे ऐसे स्थल हैं, जहां पर निर्देशकों को शूटिंग करना पसंद आ रहा है।
नागपूर : नागपूर महानगरपालिका शिक्षण विभागातर्फे दरवर्षी आयोजित शिक्षण सप्ताह विद्यार्थ्यांचा उत्साह वाढविणारा ठरत आहे. क्रीडा स्पर्धांमुळे शारीरिक व्यायाम आणि सांस्कृतिक स्पर्धांमुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमधील कलागुणांना व्यासपीठ मिळत आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सर्वांगीण विकासाकरिता शिक्षण सप्ताह पोषक ठरत असल्याचे प्रतिपादन महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी केले.
मनपाच्या शिक्षण विभागातर्फे १४ ते २२ डिसेंबरदरम्यान आयोजित शिक्षण सप्ताहाअंतर्गत केंद्रीय स्पर्धांचे उद्घाटन बुधवारी (ता. १९) यशवंत स्टेडियम येथे सकाळी पार पडले. याप्रसंगी त्या बोलत होत्या. यावेळी मंचावर शिक्षण समितीचे सभापती प्रा. दिलीप दिवे, क्रीडा समितीचे सभापती नागेश सहारे, उपायुक्त राजेश मोहिते, शिक्षणाधिकारी संध्या मेडपल्लीवार, सहायक शिक्षणाधिकारी राजेंद्र सुके, कुसूम चापलेकर, क्रीडा अधिकारी नरेश सवाईथूल, क्रीटा निरीक्षक नरेश चौधरी उपस्थित होते.
महापौर नंदा जिचकार पुढे बोलताना म्हणाल्या, मनपा शाळांचा शिक्षणाचा दर्जा उंचवावा यासाठी गेल्या काही वर्षांपासून विविध स्तरावर प्रयत्न केले जात आहेत. शिक्षण सप्ताह हा त्या प्रयत्नांचाच एक भाग आहे. यंदाचे आयोजन हे आगळेवेगळे असून संपूर्ण शिक्षण विभाग अभिनंदनास पात्र असल्याचे सांगत सहभागी खेळाडूंना त्यांनी शुभेच्छा दिल्या.
शिक्षण समितीचे सभापती प्रा. दिलीप दिवे यांनी शिक्षण सप्ताहाच्या सुंदर आयोजनाबाबत शिक्षण विभागाचे अभिनंदन केले. शिक्षण आणि क्रीडा क्षेत्रात मनपाच्या शाळांची प्रगती होत असून मागील वर्षांपासून पटसंख्या वाढत आहे. बदलत्या काळानुसार मनपाच्या शाळाही बदलत असल्याचा उल्लेख करीत मनपाच्या शाळांतून शिक्षण घेण्याचे आवाहन त्यांनी यावेळी केले. क्रीडा समितीचे सभापती नागेश सहारे यांनीही सर्व क्रीडा शिक्षकांचे अभिनंदन केले. झोनस्तरावरील स्पर्धेचे यशस्वी आयोजन बघता मनपा शाळा आयोजनात कुठेही कमी पडत नसल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.
राष्ट्रीय स्तरावर विविध क्रीडा प्रकारात आपल्या यशाची पताका रोवणाऱ्या मनपा शाळांतील विद्यार्थ्यांचा त्यांनी यावेळी शाब्दिक गौरव केला आणि केंद्रीय स्पर्धेत पोहचलेल्या संघांना आणि खेळाडूंना त्यांनी शुभेच्छा दिल्या. तत्पूर्वी महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांच्या हस्ते मैदानांचे पूजन करुन स्पर्धेचे उद्घाटन करण्यात आले. केंद्रीय स्पर्धा १९ ते २१ डिसेंबर दरम्यान चालणार असून समारोप २२ डिसेंबर रोजी सकाळी १० वाजता कविवर्य सुरेश भट सभागृहात आयोजित करण्यात आला असल्याची माहिती क्रीडा अधिकारी नरेश सवाईथूल यांनी यावेळी दिली. बुधवारी सांघिक खेळांतर्गत फुटबॉल, लंगडी, रस्साखेच, कबड्डी या स्पर्धा झाल्या. गुरुवार २० डिसेंबर रोजी धावणे, लांब उडी, गोळाफेक, थाळीफेक, तिहेरी उडी या मैदानी स्पर्धा होतील तर शुक्रवार २१ डिसेंबर रोजी नाटक, नृत्य या सांस्कृतिक स्पर्धांसोबतच वक्तृत्व स्पर्धा आणि बुद्धिबळ स्पर्धा होतील.
Indian Space Research Organization ISRO has launched the GSAT-7A military satellite from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh today and this marks the 35th successful launch of a communication satellite from the Indian space agency. The GSAT-7A has been launched on board the GSLV-F-11 and will be used by the Indian Air Force for better connectivity and range for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
ISRO’s GSAT-7A military communication satellite will also boost to warfare capabilities of the Indian Air Force (IAF) while enhancing the abilities to operate globally, as well. This also means that GSLV-F-11/GSAT-7A mission will help IAF in reducing its dependency on ground-based control stations and make some improvements in the area of satellite-controlled unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Nagpur : Veteran theatre artist and film actor Rajit Kapur inaugurated the second season of expressions Film Festival at St Ursula Girls’ High School with the help of Milind Patil Creative Head of Pin Drop Sound and Shailesh Narwade.
Present on the dais were actor Rajit Kapur, veteran theatre artist of Nagpur Ganesh Naidu, Principal of St Ursula Girls’ High School Rachana Singh, Sponsor Inu Majumdar, Kartik Shende of Vithoba Group, Sudatta Ramteke, Rajesh Batra, Sandeep Gujar, Jagdish Palia of UCN, Milind Patil and Shailesh Narwade.
Ganesh Naidu was feted and conferred with the coveted ‘eXpressions-Prize for Genius’ award. Speaking after the felicitation, Naidu, who was introduced by RJ Abhay, spoke of his one principle which he followed in life and continues to do so – to be honest, do well and do the best in life. नागपूर – देशभरातील अल्पसंख्याक विद्यार्थ्यांची व्यवस्थापन शुल्क शिष्यवृत्ती रखडली होती. मात्र, मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठाने आज थेट विद्यार्थ्यांच्या खात्यात ही शिष्यवृत्ती जमा करण्याचे आदेश दिल्यामुळे देशभरातील विद्यार्थ्यांना दिलासा मिळणार आहे.
अल्पसंख्याक विद्यार्थ्यांची शिष्यवृत्ती बॅंक खात्यात जमा करण्याच्या निर्णयावर दीड महिन्यापासून उच्च न्यायालयाने स्थगिती दिली होती. आज न्यायालयाने व्यवस्थापन शुल्क विद्यार्थ्यांच्या बॅंक खात्यात जमा करण्याचे आदेश दिले, तरीही शिक्षण शुल्काच्या स्वरुपातील शिष्यवृत्ती देण्यावर मात्र स्थगिती कायम आहे. अनेक शैक्षणिक संस्थांनी बोगस विद्यार्थी दाखवून राज्य सरकारकडून मोठ्या प्रमाणात शिष्यवृत्ती लाटल्याचे उघडकीस आले होते.
त्यानंतर राज्य सरकारने शिष्यवृत्ती थेट विद्यार्थ्यांच्या बॅंक खात्यात जमा करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. हा निर्णय सर्वसामान्य शाळा व महाविद्यालयांमधील विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी अनेक वर्षांपासून राबवण्यात येत आहे. आता राज्य सरकारने अल्पसंख्याक शाळा व महाविद्यालयांना लागू केला. त्याला शिक्षण संस्थांनी विरोध केला व राज्य सरकारकडे निवेदन सादर केले होते. त्यानंतरही सरकारचा निर्णय कायम असल्याने उच्च न्यायालयात याचिका दाखल करण्यात आली होती. उच्च न्यायालयाने सरकारच्या निर्णयावर शिक्कामोर्तब केले.
पण, शिक्षण संस्थांनी वर्षानुवर्षे शाळांना अनुदान मिळत नाही. शिवाय विद्यार्थीही शिक्षण शुल्क भरत नाही. अशावेळी शाळा चालवायच्या कशा, असा प्रश्ना उपस्थित केला. त्यावर न्यायालयाने विद्यार्थ्यांच्या बॅंक खात्यात शिष्यवृत्ती जमा झाल्यानंतर शिक्षण शुल्क शाळा व महाविद्यालयात जमा करावे आणि त्यासंदर्भात राज्य सरकारने अधिसूचना प्रसिद्ध करून विद्यार्थ्यांना आदेश द्यावे, असे म्हटले होते.
पण, अद्यापही राज्य सरकारने विद्यार्थ्यांना कोणतेच निर्देश दिले नाही. त्यामुळे अकोला येथील शाहबाबू एज्युकेशन सोसायटी आणि अन्य संस्थांनी उच्च न्यायालयात अवमान याचिका दाखल केली. यावर शिक्षण शुल्काची रक्कम संस्थांना मिळायला हवी. पण, विद्यार्थ्यांना मिळणारी शिक्षण व्यवस्थापन शिष्यवृत्ती दिली जाऊ शकते, असे न्यायालयाने म्हटले. त्यामुळे केंद्र व राज्य सरकारने विद्यार्थ्यांच्या खात्यात शिक्षण व्यवस्थापन शुल्काची रक्कम जमा करावी, असे आदेश दिले. न्या. रवि देशपांडे आणि न्या. विनय जोशी यांच्यासमक्ष सुनावणी झाली.
