RMC issues a ‘Yellow Alert for Nagpur and nearby districts on the 23rd, 24th of July

Nagpur: After a short pause, the intense hailstorm and monsoon showers that continue to leave an ash trail of destruction are expected to be back in the Second Capital of the State as the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has issued a yellow alert for the next two days beginning on July 23rd.

“Thunderstorm that includes lightning, as well as squally winds, are likely to happen in remote areas,” reads the prediction of RMC. RMC issued a Yellow Alert for Nagpur district on July 23 and 24th.

Alongside Nagpur, RMC has issued Yellow Alert for Wardha, Bhandara, Gondia, Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Buldhana, and Washim. However, there is the RMC has issued an Orange Alert has been issued for Chandrapur and Gadchiroli forecasting heavy rain within these areas.
