Flipkart co-founder and group chief executive officer (CEO) Binny Bansal on Tuesday resigned from the company with immediate effect. Flipkart is now controlled by Walmart Inc after the latter acquired 77 percent of Flipkart for $16 billion in May.
In a statement the company said that Bansal’s decision follows an independent investigation done on behalf of the Flipkart and Walmart into an allegation of serious personal misconduct. Though Bansal has strongly denied the allegations.
“Earlier today, Binny Bansal announced his resignation as CEO of Flipkart Group, effective immediately. Binny has been an important part of Flipkart since co-founding the company, but recent events risked becoming a distraction and Binny has made a decision to step down,” the company said.
Kalyan Krishnamurthy will continue to be CEO of Flipkart, which will now include Myntra and Jabong, continuing to operate as separate platforms within the Flipkart business.
नागपूर : गुवाहाटी से आंध्र प्रदेश की ओर जाने वाली मिलिट्री स्पेशल ट्रेन के 3 कोच मंगलवार तकरीबन दोपहर 1:25 पर उनके पास स्थित गुरुद्वारा के मार्ग पर पटरी से उतरे रेलवे प्रशासन की पोल खुल गई ।

नागपुर रेलवे स्टेशन के डी केबिन के पास अचानक से रेलगाड़ी के ३ डिब्बे पटरी से उतर गए। इस गाड़ी में मिलिट्री का सामान व कुछ मिलिट्री के सैनिक भी मौजूद थे। यह घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही रेलवे अधिकारी तुरंत घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे । उसके बाद रेल को वापस पटरी पर लाने के लिए कोशिश जारी है ।चूँकि गाड़ी पटरी पर नहीं है इसलिए यात्री ट्रेनों के मार्गों को कुछ समय के लिए बाधित करना पड़ा ।
नागपूर : नागपूर महापालिकेची आर्थिक स्थिती बिकट आहे. स्थायी समितीने ३२५ कोटींच्या विशेष अनुदानाची मागणी राज्य शासनाला केली होती. यातील पहिल्या टप्प्यात राज्य सरकारने १५० कोटींचा निधी मनपाला दिला. त्यानंतर १७५ कोटी याच महिन्यात प्राप्त होण्याची आशा व्यक्त केली जात आहे. त्यामुळे फक्त अनुदानावर मनपाचा कारभार चालणार काय हा प्रश्न आहे.
मनपा जकातमुळे आर्थिक उत्पन्नात मागे पडत आहे. जकात सुरू असताना महापालिकेच्या तिजोरीत दररोज निधी जमा होत होता. मात्र, जकात रद्द करुन एलबीटी लागू करण्यात आली. त्यामुळे एलबीटीपासून उत्पन्न जमा होत नसल्याने महापालिकेची आर्थिक स्थिती ही ढासळायला लागली आहे. जीएसटी लागू करताना एलबीटीच्या महसूलाचा आधार गृहित धरण्यात आला होता. जकात बंद होण्यापूर्वी तसेच एलबीटीच्या ५ वर्षांची तुलना करुन प्रत्येक वर्षी १७ टक्के वाढ करणारे अनुदान द्यावे, अशी मागणी नागपूर मनपाने केली होती. पण राज्य शासनाकडून मंजुरी मिळाली नसल्यामुळे अपेक्षित जीएसटी अनुदान मिळाले नाही.
महिन्याला ५२ कोटी जीएसटी अनुदान स्वरुपात मिळतात. ही रक्कम ९० कोटीवर गेल्यास दर महिन्याला ४० कोटींची वाढ होणार आहे. यातून अत्यावश्यक खर्चाची चिंता दूर होईल. मागणीनुसार वाढीव अनुदान मिळाल्यास महापालिकेची आर्थिक स्थिती सुधारण्याला वेळ लागणार नाही, अशी अपेक्षा मनपाकडून व्यक्त केली जात आहे.

Accordingly BOI intends to encourage all stakeholders to collectively participates in the prevention of and fight against corruption and to raise public awareness regarding the existence, cause and gravity of and the threat posed by corruption.
In order to create the awareness among the students on the ill effects of corruption, BOI has conducted Elocution & poster presentation competition for the students of DAIMSR.
Vilas Parate, Zonal Manager (Nagpur Zone), BOI, stated, “we are celebrating this vigilance awareness week and the theme this year is ‘Corruption Free India’. We specially want the future of India i.e. Youth minds to participate in this campaign & make India corruption free.
10 students participated in poster making competition where the theme was ‘ill-effect of corruption on the society’, where Chetna Somkuwar, Nikita Gajbhiye, & Sanskruti Domde bagged 1st ,2nd Prize & 3rd prize respectively.
Even elocution competition was organized on the theme of ‘Role of Youth against Corruption’, where Kunal Mendhe, Swarup Gondhane and Pradnya Anand bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.

मुंबई : मुंबई ते नागपूरदरम्यानचा प्रस्तावित समृद्धी महामार्गाला बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांचं नाव द्या अशी मागणी शिवसेना आमदारांनी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्याकडे केली आहे. समृद्धी महामार्गाला विरोध दर्शवणाऱ्या शिवसेनेच्या आमदारांच्या या मागणीमुळे राजकीय वर्तुळात चर्चेला उधान आले आहे. शिवसेना आमदारांच्या एका शिष्टमंडळाने पत्र लिहून मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्याकडे ही मागणी केली आहे.
१० जिल्हे, ३० तालुके आणि ३५६ गावातून हा महामार्ग जाणार आहे. नागपूर, वर्धा, अमरावती, वाशीम, बुलडाणा, जालना, औरंगाबाद, अहमदनगर, नाशिक आणि ठाणे जिल्ह्यातून हा महामार्ग जाणार आहे. आता मुंबईहून नागपूरला पोचायला सरासरी १६ तास लागतात. या महामार्गामुळे तो कालावधी निम्म्यावर येणं अपेक्षित मानलं जातंय.

Akshay Kumar has signed a three-film deal with Fox Star Studios. The first film which will be jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and Cape Of Good Films is Mission Mangal. Made in collaboration with R Balki and helmed by Jagan Shakti, the shooting of Mission Mangal will commence from mid-November.
‘Mission Mangal’ also stars Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi and Nithya Menen.

अंबरनाथ : अंबरनाथ येथील प्रकाशनगर भागात एक वर्षाच्या चिमुकल्याने रॉकेल प्यायल्याने त्याचा उपचारादरम्यान मृत्यू झाला. मात्र रुग्णालयामधील डॉक्टरांच्या निष्काळजीमुळे बाळाचा मृत्यू झाल्याचा आरोप चिमुकल्याच्या कुटुंबाने केला आहे.
अंबरनाथ येथील पूर्व भागातील प्रकाश नगर भागात राहणाऱ्या अनिता शिंदे यांच्याकडे दिवाळीनिमित्त पुण्याहून त्यांची मुलगी भाग्यश्री सोनावणे ही आपल्या कुटुंबासह आली होती. मात्र रविवारी घरात खेळताना भाग्यश्रीचा एक वर्षाचा मुलगा कार्तिक सोनावने हा घरात खेळत असताना, जमिनीवर सांडलेले रॉकेल हाताद्वारे त्याच्या पोटात गेले होते. मात्र रविवार असल्याने शहरातील अनेक रुग्णालयांमध्ये डॉक्टरच उपलब्ध नव्हते. त्यामुळे अनेक रुग्णालयात उपचारासाठी नकार मिळाला होता. अखेर अंबरनाथ पश्चिम भागातील जियास या खासगी हॉस्पिटलमध्ये कार्तिक याला उपचारासाठी दाखल करण्यात आले होते. उपचारानंतर काही वेळाने कार्तिक याची प्रकृती सुधारली.
परंतु सोमवारी सकाळी कार्तिक याच्या प्रकृतीत पुन्हा बिघाड झाल्याने रुग्णालयामधील डॉक्टरांनी त्याला दुसऱ्या रुग्णालयामध्ये पुढील उपचारासाठी हलवण्यास सांगितले होते. रुग्णवाहिका बोलावली. पण थोड्याच वेळात बाळाला रुग्णवाहिकेतून पुन्हा रुग्णालयात नेण्यात आले आणि नर्सने बाळाचा मृतदेहच हाती ठेवल्याचे कार्तिकच्या आजीने सांगितले. डॉक्टरांच्या निष्काळजीमुळे उपचारादरम्यान चिमुकल्याचा मृत्यू झाल्याचा आरोप कार्तिकची आजी अनिता शिंदे यांनी केला आहे. तर रॉकेलचा मोठा अंश बाळाच्या पोटात गेल्याने त्याने उपचाराला प्रतिसाद दिला नसल्याचे रुग्णालय प्रशासनाने सांगितले.

महापौर नंदा जिचकार पुढे बोलताना म्हणाल्या, गेल्या दीड वर्षात महापौर चषकांतर्गत नागपुरात विविध खेळांच्या स्पर्धांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. विशेष म्हणजे महिलांसाठी राज्यस्तरावर स्पर्धांचे आयोजन नागपूर महानगरपालिकेच्या वतीने करण्यात आले. कधी नव्हे इतक्या स्पर्धा आयोजित करण्यात आल्या. टिव्ही, मोबाईल, इंटरनेटच्या युगात मैदानी खेळांना अशा स्पर्धांमुळे सुगीचे दिवस आले. अशा स्पर्धांमुळे खेळभावना वाढीस लागते आणि विद्यार्थ्यांचा मानसिक आणि बौद्धिक विकास होतो. यापुढेही अशाच स्पर्धांना नागपूर महानगरपालिकेतर्फे प्रोत्साहन देण्यात येईल, असेही त्या म्हणाल्या.
तत्पूर्वी महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांनी स्पर्धेचे विधीवत उद्घाटन केले. नागपुरात आयोजित ही स्पर्धा कदाचित सर्वात मोठे आयोजन असावे, असा गौरवोल्लेख द्रोणाचार्य अवॉर्ड विजेत्या पुर्णिमा महतो यांनी केला. प्रास्ताविकातून महाराष्ट्र धनुर्विद्या संघटनेचे सचिव प्रमोद चांदूरकर यांनी आयोजनामागील भूमिका विषद केली. नागपूर महानगरपालिकेच्या पुढाकाराने नागपुरात इतके मोठे आयोजन शक्य झाले असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.

१३ नोव्हेंबरला समारोप
नागपुरात आयोजित धनुर्विद्या स्पर्धेत देशभरातील सुमारे १३०० स्पर्धक सहभागी झालेले आहेत. स्पर्धेचे उद्घाटन ११ नोव्हेंबर रोजी झाले. समारोप १३ नोव्हेंबर रोजी सायंकाळी होईल, अशी माहिती आयोजकांनी दिली.
Nagpur : Vice chancellor SP Kane on Monday said all Nagpur University exams scheduled for November 21 would be shifted to another suitable date after it came to his knowledge that the exams were clashing with Eid- e-Milad which would be a national holiday.
The stiff stance was adopted by the officials despite state government’s list of gazette holidays including November 21 as Eid-e-Milad.
Kane said after reading about the flaw, he asked his subordinates to move the file for the reschedule. The VC said the affected xams would be held on the any of the coming Sundays so that other exams are not disturbed.
Nagpur: A woman was sold to a family in Oman. In what seems like a case of human trafficking, a 35-year-old man along with four other accomplices promised the woman a job in Oman and allegedly sold her for Rs 1.50 lakh. A case has been registered in Nagpur’s Sakkardara Police Station against all the five people
The Police has booked Nasruddin alias Raja Sheikh, Nasima, Akila, Firoz and Imtiyaz in the case. According to the Police, the financial situation of the victim was not very strong and accused Akila, on the pretext of getting her a job of a maidservant, sold her in Oman.
After the victim faced harassment in Oman, she informed her sister in Nagpur. The victim’s sister filed a complaint in Sakkardara Police station. The victim was later contacted by the Indian Embassy in Oman and is currently in their custody.
Sakkardara Police has registered a case of human trafficking against Raja Sheikh, a resident of Bhupesh Nagar, Nagpur. Police also registered a case against Nasima, Akila, Firoz, and Imtiyaz under IPC section 370, 371, 420, 34.
नागपूर : आईने मोबाइल सोबत नेल्याने १४ वर्षीय मुलाने गळफास घेऊन आत्महत्या केली. ही घटना सोमवारी रात्री महालमधील मुंशी गल्ली भागात उघडकीस आली. क्रिष सुनील लुनावत,असे मृतकाचे नाव आहे. तो सातव्या वर्गात शिकत होता.
पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, क्रिष हा आई व बहिणीसोबत राहात होता. दोघीही खासगी काम करतात. त्याला मोबाइलवर खेळण्याचे व्यसन लागले होते. सोमवारी त्याची आई मुंबई येथे गेली. सोबत मोबाइल घेऊन गेली. बहीण कामावर गेली. आईने मोबाइल नेल्याचा विपरित परिणाम त्याच्या मनावर झाला. सायंकाळी त्याने चादरीने गळफास घेऊन आत्महत्या केली. रात्री ९ वाजताच्या सुमारास त्याची बहीण आयशा घरी आली. क्रिषला आवाज दिला. प्रतिसाद मिळाला नाही. खिडकीतून बघितले असता क्रिष गळफास लावलेला दिसला. तिने हंबरडा फोडला. शेजारी जमले.
घटनेची माहिती कोतवाली पोलिसांना देण्यात आली. माहिती मिळताच वरिष्ठ पोलिस निरीक्षक उमेश बेसरकर यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली उपनिरीक्षक पी.आर.फुलझेले सहकाऱ्यांसह तेथे पोहोचले. पंचनामा केला. याप्रकरणी कोतवाली पोलिसांनी आकस्मिक मृत्यूची नोंद करून तपास सुरू केला आहे.
Stan Lee, the creative mastermind behind the Marvel comic books, has died aged 95.
He was responsible for iconic characters including Spider-Man, X-Men, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Black Panther and The Fantastic Four.
Marvel became the world’s most popular publisher of comic books, and the basis for a long series of Hollywood blockbusters based on the characters, including The Avengers movies, in which Lee made cameo appearances.
Lee’s final years had been turbulent with a court battle between his family and a former manager.
नागपुर: मुंबई के टाटा ट्रस्ट संस्थान की ओर से नागपुर महानगर पालिका को प्राथमिक जरूरतमंदों को आला दर्जे का इलाज करवाने की सुविधाएं की जा रही है| ८ स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों को पहले चरण में सुसज्जित किया जाएगा| दूसरे चरण में १० केंद्र को यह सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी| दूसरे चरण का काम चरम सीमा पर है। अगले दो हफ्तों में यह १० केंद्र कार्यान्वित हो जाएंगे।
‘मॉडल ऑफ यूनिवर्सल प्राइमरी हेल्थ केयर इन नागपुर सिटी‘ नामक यह योजना टाटा ट्रस्ट संयुक्त तरीके से लागू करेंगे। मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने प्रसिद्ध उद्योगपति रतन टाटा की ओर से दिए गए पत्र के आधार पर राष्ट्रीय नागरिक आरोग्य अभियान के अंतर्गत यह परियोजना लागू की है।
टाटा ट्रस्ट की ओर से इस योजना को बिना किसी व्यावसायिक उद्देश्य शुरू किया जाएगा । परियोजना का संपूर्ण खर्च टाटा संस्थान द्वारा किया जाएगा । यहां आला दर्जे की आरोग्य सुविधा जरूरतमंदों को रियायती दामों पर उपलब्ध कराई गई है । इसके जरिये नागपुर महानगरपालिका के २६ स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों को सुविधा के लिए सक्षम बनाया जाएगा | पहले चरण के ८ आरोग्यकेंद्रों को सक्षम बनाया जा चुका है |

नागपुर : ‘फँड्री’ आणि ‘सैराट’ सारख्या चित्रपटांच्या अभूतपूर्व यशानंतर झी स्टुडीओज् आणि नागराज पोपटराव मंजुळे नाळ नावाचा चित्रपट प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला घेऊन येत आहेत. दर्जेदार चित्रपट आणि झी स्टुडीओज् हे समीकरण प्रेक्षकांसाठी काही नवीन नाही.
गेल्या काही वर्षांत मराठीतील चित्रपटांनी विविध विषयांना हात घालत, अनोख्या पद्धतीने मांडणी करत मराठी चित्रपटाला एका वेगळ्या उंचीवर पोहोचवलं आहे. सुधाकर रेड्डी यक्कंटी यांनी चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शन केले असून येत्या १६ नोव्हेंबरला हा चित्रपट सर्वत्र प्रदर्शित होत आहे. सुधाकर यांनी सैराट, विहीर, देऊळ आणि वीरे दि वेडिंग सारख्या सिनेमांचे छायाचित्रीकरण केले असून नाळ मधून ते दिग्दर्शनातील पदार्पण करत आहेत. नुकताच या चित्रपटाचा ट्रेलर लाँच सोहळा पार पडला. या सोहळ्याला नागराज मंजुळे, दिग्दर्शक सुधाकर रेड्डी, देविका दफ्तरदार. दीप्ती देवी तसेच झी स्टुडिओज् चे सी.इ. ओ. शारिक पटेल, बिजनेस हेड मंगेश कुलकर्णी, कन्टेन्ट हेड अश्विनीकुमार पाटील आदी मान्यवर उपस्थित होते.
जगात सुंदर असं एकच मूल आहे आणि ते प्रत्येक आईजवळ आहे असे म्हटले जाते. अशाच एका आई आणि मुलाची गोष्ट प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येत आहे. चित्रपटाची कथा आहे लहानग्या चैतन्यची असून चैतू आठ वर्षांचा आहे. नदीच्या काठी वसलेल्या महाराष्ट्रातील एका दूरच्या खेड्यात तो राहतो. त्याचे वडील गावातील एक प्रतिष्ठित जमीनदार आहेत जे चैतूचे सगळे हट्ट पुरवतात. प्रेमळ आणि मायाळू आई त्याचे खूप लाड करते. अशा सुंदर वातावरणात वाढणाऱ्या चैतन्यच्या भावविश्वाचा अनपेक्षित प्रवास नाळच्या कथासूत्रात उलगडताना दिसेल. नाळ सारखा सिनेमा खऱ्या अर्थाने चित्रभाषेत बोलू शकतो हे पुन्हा एकदा सिद्ध होईल यात शंका नाही.
मृदगंध फिल्म्सचे वैशाली विराज लोंढे, निखिल वराडकर, नितीन प्रकाश वैद्य, प्रशांत मधुसूदन पेठे आणि सुधाकर रेड्डी तसेच नागराज मंजुळे यांनी चित्रपटाची निर्मिती केली असून झी स्टुडिओज् आणि नागराज मंजुळे यांची प्रस्तुती आहे.चित्रपटाची कथा आणि पटकथा सुधाकर रेड्डी यांची असून, संवाद नागराज मंजुळे यांचे आहेत. चित्रपटाचे संकलन संचारी दास मौलिक यांनी केलंय. सतीश पोतदार, प्रशांत देशमाने यांचे कला दिग्दर्शन या चित्रपटाला लाभले असून अद्वैत नेमलेकर यांचे पार्श्वसंगीत आहे. तसेच चित्रपटातील वेशभूषा साकारली आहे सचिन लोवाळेकर यांनी. या चित्रपटातील ‘जाऊं दे न व’ ह्या गाण्याला तीन दिवसात १० लाख व्हियुज मिळाले असून हे गाणे ए. व्ही. प्रफुल्लचंद्र यांनी संगीतबद्ध तसेच शब्दबद्ध केले आहे आणि सा रे ग म प लिटिल चॅम्प मधून अल्पावधीतच सर्वांचा लाडका झालेला जयस कुमारने हे गायले आहे. सुधाकर रेड्डी यांनी दिग्दर्शनाबरोबरच छायाचित्रणातूनही चैतूचे भावविश्व चितारले आहे. चित्रपटात नागराज मंजुळे, देविका दफ्तरदार, सेवा चव्हाण, दीप्ती देवी, ओम भुतकर आणि बालकलाकार श्रीनिवास पोकळे यांच्या महत्वाच्या भूमिका आहेत.
पहिल्या सुवर्ण कमळाचा मानकरी ठरलेला चित्रपट ‘श्यामची आई’ पासून ‘नाळ ’पर्यंतच्या चित्रपटांचा हा पल्ला प्रदीर्घ आहे. लहान मुलांना काहीच समजत नाही, हा गैरसमज लहान मुलांच्या प्रमुख व्यक्तिरेखा असणाऱ्या चित्रपटांच्या बाबतीत कधीच गळून पडलाय, कारण याच चित्रपटांतून मिळणारी मूल्य आणि निखळ मनोरंजन केवळ अमूल्य आहे.
Nagpur: In two incidents of house breaking reported under the jurisdiction of Pratap Nagar and Sitalbuldi police, burglars decamped with valuables to the tune of over Rs 6.5 lakh from a house and a shop respectively between Nov 9 and 11.
In first incident, 50-year-old complainant Manish Vijay Shah resident of Plot. No. 34, Ravindra Nagar, Parsodi had gone out along with his family to meet a relative between November 9 and 11. In the meantime, some anonymous miscreants broke into his house and fled with cash, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 4,74,000 kep in the almirah. The burglary came to fore when complainant returned home, only to find out the ransacked house. He rushed to Pratap Nagar police station and filed a complaint.
In another incident reported under the jurisdiction of Sitabuldi police station, the suspects broke into a cloth shop located in Modi No. 2 and looted valuables worth Rs 2,16,350.
According to complainant Sanket Mukesh Jain (32) resident of Flat No. 201,202 second floor, Vrushab Apartment, Satranjipura, Itwari he left for his home after locking the shop on November 10. When he returned the next day, he found the grill of bathroom window broken and silver idol and cash to the tune of Rs 2.16 lakh were missing from his shop. Followed by the complaint of Sanket, Sitabuldi police station have registered a case under relevant sections and started the probe.

Recently, Parent Teacher Meeting was held at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies & Research (DAIMSR) to discuss the performance of MBA students with their parents. Parents were given feedback about their ward’s performances in Formative and Summative Assessments and during classes.

It was a great interaction between the teachers and the parents for the development of their wards where they discussed both the strengths and areas of improvements. The progress report in the form of “Students Progression and Personal Data File” was shared with the parents and their suggestions were welcomed and noted.
“It was almost seven (7) years ago I attended Parent-Teacher Meet in school, Its really nice and welcoming gesture by the institute to organize such meets, which helps us to understand how the career of our wards is progressing”, was stated by one of proud parents.
During this meet the photo exhibition was organized and it was inaugurated at the hands of parents. The purpose of the exhibition was to share the objective, functioning and achievements about the different events, activities and workshops etc. organized during the semester for the overall development of the students.
“Parents actively participated and interacted with the teachers, suggestions and feedback were taken from the parents and the institute will look forward to incorporating them into the activities”, was stated by event co-coordinators Dr. Ruhi Bakhare & Prof. Amardeep Kurukwar.
The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that the progress of the students depends on the joint effort of parents and teachers.
LUCKNOW: Days after renaming the Faizabad district as Ayodhya, the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh is reportedly considering a proposal to ban the sale of liquor and meat in the entire district.
The demand to ban the sale of liquor and meat in the district has been made by local seers.
Speaking to reporters on the issue, UP government spokesperson Srikant Sharma had said on Sunday said that the state government was very much aware of the demands made by the seers in Ayodhya.
“The government will ban the sale of liquor and meat within the legal framework,” Sharma said.
Acharya Satyendra Das was also quoted that Ayodhya is a sacred place and meat and liquor was never sold in the city, adding that the proposed ban will lead to a healthier lifestyle.
“Ayodhya has been a sacred place for centuries, meat and liquor were never sold here. Now that Faizabad has been renamed as Ayodhya, the ban should be applicable to the whole district. The ban will end the impurity and pollution and evoke a feeling of purity. This ban will help people to be healthier,” Das said.
The demand has drawn support from other seers as well, one of whom, namely Dharmdas Pakshkar of Sri Hanuman Gadi Temple, has called for a ban on the sale of meat across the nation.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Iqbal Ansari, a key petitioner in the Babri Masjid case, said that the final decision will be taken by the state government itself.
However, the proposal to ban meat and alcohol in the entire Ayodhya district has received a mix response from the public as it feels the ban will directly impact owners of meat and liquor shops.
Mohammed Shahzad, who owns a meat shop, called the demand “wrong and unjustified.”
“This is my only source of income and if there is a ban on the sale of meat and eggs, how will we earn anything? We have families to provide for. It was fine until the rule was limited only till Ayodhya, now just because they have changed the name, doesn’t mean it shall be applicable in the whole district. There are around 200-250 meat shops here, if put a ban on the sale, they should provide us with a job,” he explained.
While Shahzad was against the ban, there are few shopkeepers who supported the ban. Sushil Jaiswal, a liquor shop owner, said that he supports the ban as what is right shall be done. Speaking about the losses that would be incurred, Jaiswal said, “People will find something else to earn money.”
Faizabad district was renamed Ayodhya on November 6 by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Deepotsav event.
The decision to rechristen Faizabad district as Ayodhya has not gone down well with many of its residents, who believe it is an “unnecessary step” taken for “political” reasons and will eventually “erase the identity” of the historical town.
Another section, however, welcomed the Uttar Pradesh government’s move, saying it endorses the legacy of ancient Ayodhya and will enhance its “glory”.
नागपुर : प्रधानमंत्री मोदी द्वारा चलाए गए स्वच्छ भारत अभियान की ओर एक अनूठी पहल केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी द्वारा शहर में शुरू की गई । शहर के सभी पब्लिक टॉयलेट्स में जैविक पाउडर का उपयोग कर बदबू दूर करने का अभियान शहर में पिछले 2 हफ़्तों से शुरू किया गया है।
आमतौर पर गंदगी होने के कारण नागरिक पब्लिक टॉयलेट का इस्तेमाल करने से बचते हैं । इसका हल निकालने के लिए केंद्रीय भूतल परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने ‘स्वच्छालय अपनाओ स्वच्छ भारत बनाओ‘ अभियान चलाने का निर्णय लिया है। जिसके अंतर्गत जैविक पाउडर उपयोग कर पब्लिक टॉयलेट की बदबू दूर की जा सकेंगी । जैविक पाउडर का उपयोग कर बदबू दूर करने का है यह देश का पहला प्रयोग है ।
केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने कहा ” नागपुर शहर के नागरिक होने के तौर पर यह हमारी जिम्मेदारी है कि हमें पब्लिक टॉयलेट को साफ रखना चाहिए जिससे लोग उपयोग कर सकें । प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा चलाए गए स्वच्छ भारत अभियान में एक छोटा सा प्रयास है। यह शहर के सभी टॉयलेट से बदबू मुक्त करने का प्रयास है। यह मिशन धीरे-धीरे राज्य व देशभर में चलाया जाएगा ।
बताया जा रहा है कि स्वच्छता के लिए उपयोग किए जाने वाले जैविक पाउडर से बाल से बनाया गया है । 900 रुपए प्रति किलो की दर से यह पाउडर देश में उपलब्ध है । इस पाउडर का निर्माण प्राकृतिक पद्धति से किया गया है । यह स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक भी नहीं है|

The trailer is impressive with picturesque locales of Uttarakhand and powerful visuals of the tragedy as water comes gushing down from all sides, destroying everything that comes in its way. Sara reminds us of her mother Amrita Singh as she graces the silver screen for the first time while Sushant is effortless in his act as the tragedy takes the centerstage in the gripping trailer.
The film has however, been long delayed due to various production hassles. The film that was originally scheduled to release in June this year, will now hit the theatres on December 7.
सरकार और भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक(आरबीआई) के बीच चल रहे संघर्ष सभी गलत कारणों से सुर्खियां बना रहे हैं । हालांकि कई लोगों का मानना है कि 19 नवंबर को बोर्ड मीटिंग में संघर्ष खत्म होने की संभावना है , यदि सरकार और आरबीआई अपने आपसी समझ से समझौता कर अपने आपसी मतभेद सुलझा ले ।
नॉर्थ ब्लॉक और बैंकिंग रेगुलेटर के बीच मतभेद यह मतभेद तब जाहिर हुआ जब पहली बार आरबीआई ने अपनी वेबसाइट पर असंतोष नोट प्रकाशित किया जिसमें एक अलग भुगतान नियामक की स्थापना में सरकार के साथ असहमति व्यक्त की गई ।
आरबीआई के डिप्टी गवर्नर विरल आचार्य ने देश के केंद्रीय बैंक में स्वायत्तता की आवश्यकता को एक मजबूत मामला बना दिया था जिसके बाद सोशल मीडिया पर उनके भाषण को व्यापक किया गया था । सूत्रों के अनुसार बताया गया कि सरकार के अधिकारी आरबीआई के साथ हुआ मतभेद को सार्वजनिक तौर पर जाहिर होने से सरकार परेशान है । अब सभी की नजरे 19 नवंबर को होने वाली आरबीआई की बोर्ड मीटिंग पर जमी हुई है ।
गौरतलब है कि 18 सदस्य बोर्ड में न केवल केंद्रीय बैंकर और सरकारी अधिकारी होते हैं बल्कि उद्योगपति अथशास्त्री और अन्य कार्यकर्ताओं का भी समावेश होगा।

Dorsey, who arrived in India on his maiden visit last week, also met the Dalai Lama over the weekend, calling him an “amazing teacher”.
“Thank you for not actually pulling out my nose ring, despite a lot of painful effort,” he tweeted after meeting the Dalai Lama.
Dorsey was also expected to meet Union IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in the wake of the growing criticism over Twitter’s role in the spread of misinformation and fake news as India faces Assembly polls in five states ahead of the general elections next year.

Nagpur : The bhoomipujan ceremony of 10th Agrovision was performed at Reshimbagh ground on November 11 at the hands of Nanda Jichkar, Mayor of Nagpur. The 10th Agrovision, Central India’s largest agriculture exhibition, workshops and conference will be organised at Reshimbagh ground from November 23 to November 26.
“From last nine years, we are getting good response from farmers and all the people related to farming community. We hope the same grand response this year too. In the 10th Agrovision more than 400 companies have confirmed their participation,” said Ravi Boratkar, Organising Secretary of Agrovision.
This year farmers can attend various workshops on different topics. Besides this, stalls of agriculture related machinery’s, implements, seeds, fertilisers and pesticides, advance farming technology, banks, Government departments etc., will be on display, Boratkar said.
The exhibition is spread over an area of 50,000 square metre and includes domes for indoor stalls consisting of 10,250 square metres, open hanger for large size machines, three halls for workshops, 2,000 square metre pavillion for live stock display.

नागपूर : महानगरपालिकेला लवकरच नवीन आयुक्त मिळणार, अशी माहिती मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी दिली आहे. मुख्यमंत्र्याचे शासकीय निवासस्थान असलेल्या रामगिरीवर आयोजित अनौपचारिक चर्चेत ते बोलत होते. मागील २ महिन्यांपासून नागपूर महानगरपालिकेला पूर्णवेळ आयुक्त नाही.
महापालिकेला पूर्णवेळ आयुक्त नसल्याचा परिणाम विकासकामांवर होताना दिसतोय. तत्कालीन जिल्हाधिकारी सचिन कुर्वे यांची नियुक्ती नागपूरच्या आयुक्तपदी झाली. तर तत्कालीन महामनगरपालिका आयुक्त अश्विन मुदगल यांची बदली नागपूरच्या जिल्हाधिकारी पदी करण्यात आली होती.
त्यानंतर अश्विन मुदगल यांच्या जागी कडक शिस्तीचे अधिकारी अशी ओळख असलेले वीरेंद्र सिंग यांच्याकडे पदभार सोपवण्यात आला होता. मात्र, सिंग यांच्या आईच्या निधनामुळे ते गेल्या २ महिन्यांपासून सुट्टीवरच आहेत. त्यामुळे अतिरिक्त आयुक्त असलेले रवींद्र ठाकरे यांच्याकडे आयुक्तपदाची जबाबदारी सोपवण्यात आली आहे. महानगरपालिकेला पूर्णवेळ आयुक्त मिळावा, अशी मागणी जोर धरायला लागली होती. या संदर्भात पत्रकारांनी मुख्यमंत्र्यांना विचारलेल्या प्रश्नावर त्यांनी लवकरच नवीन आयुक्त देणार, असे स्पष्ट केले आहे.
