DAIMSR Conducted Avhaan 2018

Nagpur : Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies And Research (DAIMSR) had successfully conducted another remarkable event named Aavhaan on 29th September 2018. It was the event began with 27years of luminous history and annual workshop, aimed at contemporary issues related to management. The students participated in the event and acquired knowledge on diverse areas and subject which addresses a unique theme every year.

The event started with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony by Director of the institute Dr. Sudhir Fulzele, Assoicate director Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni, Dean Academics Dr. Ashutosh Paturkar, IQAC Incharge Dr. Mujahid Siddqui with honorable guests Dr. Radhabinod Barman (keynote speaker) first guest speaker Dr. G Ananthapadmanabhan 2nd Guest Speaker Dr. Sanjay Kumar and last Guest Speaker Dr. Neeran Gautam.

The event primed up in inviting the honorable chief guest on the dais to give their valuable messages. Dr. Radhabinod Barman (keynote speaker), Former executive director in Reserve Bank of india, holds a Master’s degree in Statistics and PhD in industrial economics. He threw light on the inclusive growth of economy in agriculture sector. He further added on in taking banking to masses through technology deployment. After Dr. Radhabinod Barman, Dr. G Anathpadmanabhan (MA in Economics and PhD from Mumbai, worked under Dr. Manmohan Singh, served as an executive member IBA. Second guest speaker of the day took over the dais and delivered the lecture on development of the rural sector of India and also threw light on the ways to deal with various barriers limiting the rural development of the country. With examples he also mentioned various measures that can be undertaken to reduce migration from rural areas to urban areas. After the encouraging delivery of Dr. G Ananthpadmanabhan, Dr. Sanjay Kumar (Director personnel with Western Coal seas ltd, subsidiary of Coal India ltd, BSC, MBA in HR management, PhD in management). Third guest speaker was gave insight on the areas related to skill development of our country. He spoke about the importance of skill development and also gave information about how skill development can be carried out in our country. This was followed by another interesting lecture of Dr. Neeran Gautam (MBA from Netherland and PhD in Management logistics Netherland).

Who with some real life example and humorous experiences informed the audience about the importance of culture in building a successful business. He also mentioned about how culture attribute can help in betterment of not just one individual but also overall organization growth and development. He also focused in providing opportunities to the rural area resident and how it is important to provide them with such opportunities and resources they are familiar and used to.

After their expert sessions, Miss Shivani Paranjpe and Mr Ameya Bhide proposed a Vote of thanks. Prof. Sushant Waghmare along with students core committee members Rohit Kadao, Anushka Parmar, Shubham Shinde, Pranay Likhar, Aditya Kathane & others work very hard for the successful execution of the event.
