No one should collect funds for Vaccination: Divisional Commissioner

Date:

Nagpur: As we know the Union Government and the State Government are offering free coronavirus preventive vaccination at various centres. In view of this, divisional commissioner Sanjeev Kumar appealed that the local self-governing bodies or any other private organisations should not collect funds for vaccination.

As per the guidelines of the Central Government, free vaccines are being given to people above 45 years and about 18 years who have done registration on Cowin app. No fee is charged at the centre authorized by the government. No one should collect funds for vaccination. Various registered organisations, social organisations; private and registered establishments are extending necessary medical aid. The NGOs have taken a large scale initiative for this. No fund should be collected for vaccination or to purchase vaccines.
