Golfer Jyoti Randhawa to lead team of dogs to hunt problem tigress in Maharashtra

Nagpur : For the first time ever, Maharashtra forest officials have roped in Cane Corso breed of hunter dogs to track down and capture the elusive problem tigress T1 of Pandharkawda who killed two horses recently, reported the Times of India. The old Italian dog breed, developed to guard property, will be handled by Golfer Jyoti Randhawa during the hunt.

Cane Corsos are powerful and athletic dogs and have the ability to hunt wild boars. According to experts, they do not fear tigers and have a very powerful sense of smell.

The cost of one dog is Rs 6 lakh and two of them are being used to track the maneater. They are owned by a Hyderabad-based sharpshooter Nawab Ali Khan.

On Monday, the dogs were made to smell the urine of the tigers from Hyderabad zoo before entering track T1.

“After much deliberations, Cane Corso dogs were deployed in the field on Monday. Golfer and dog trainer Jyoti Randhawa from Delhi will handle these dogs in the field. More team members including Nawab’s son Asgar has also joined the operation,” AK Misra, Principal chief conservator of forest.

गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून अभिनेते नाना पाटेकर जैसलमेरमध्ये साजिद नाडियाडवाला निर्मित ‘हाऊसफुल ४’ या चित्रपटाच्या शूटिंगमध्ये व्यग्र होते. नाना सध्या तनुश्री दत्ता वादात अडकले असले तरी ‘हाऊसफुल ४’मध्ये त्यांच्या भूमिकेबद्दल चाहत्यांमध्ये उत्सुकता होती. नाना या चित्रपटात एका गझल गायकाच्या भूमिकेत दिसणार असल्याची चर्चा सुरू आहे.

‘हाउसफुल ४’ चित्रपटातील नानांची भूमिका गुलदस्त्यात ठेवण्यात आली होती. विनोदी चित्रपट असल्यानं नानांची भूमिकाही विनोदीच असणार आहे यात शंकाच नाही. यापूर्वी देखील ‘वेलकम’सारख्या चित्रपटांमध्ये नानांनी विनोदी भूमिका साकरल्या आहेत. फराह खाननं आपल्या इन्स्टाग्राम अकाऊंटवर ‘हाऊस फुल ४’ टीमचा फोटो शेअर केला आहे. यात नाना पाटेकरदेखील आहेत.

या चित्रपटाच्या शूटिंगसाठी नाना राजस्थानच्या जैसलमेरमध्ये होते. तेथील शूटिंग संपल्यानंतर नाना पाटेकर जोधपूर येथून विमानानं मुंबईत दाखल झाले. मुंबई दाखल होताच पत्रकारांनी त्यांना विमानतळावरच गाठलं. मात्र अजूनही तनुश्री वादावर पूर्णपणे बोलण्यास नानांनी नकार दिला आहे.

6 Dead, 14 Injured In Gas Pipeline Blast At Bhilai Steel Plant

Six people died and 14 were injured in a blast at the Bhilai Steel Plant in Chhattisgarh, about 30 km away from state capital Raipur.

The blast took place in a pipeline near the coke oven section at the steel plant in the town of Bhilai.

Police and a rescue team rushed to the spot after the blast was reported. The people who were injured were taken to a local hospital.

The plant is operated by the state-run Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). SAIL is India’s largest steel-maker.

On June 12, 2014, six workers at the Bhilai Steel Plant died because of an explosion in the blast furnace.

‘Beti Padhao, BJP se Beti ko bachao’ : Rahul Gandhi

Congress president Rahul Gandhi yet again attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on women’s security in the country. Along with it Gandhi alleged the Bharatiya Janata Party government looted the poor people’s money to benefit their corporate friends.

Addressing an electoral rally in Dholpur of Rajasthan, Gandhi stated that under the current Union government, women in India are not safe. Speaking about a BJP MLA from Uttar Pradesh — Kuldeep Sengar — alleged in rape case, Gandhi accused both the UP and Union government of protecting the politician. Gandhi was of the opinion that even “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” has changed to “Beti Padhao, BJP se Beti ko bachao” (teach girls, protect girls from BJP) in PM Modi’s tenure.

He said, “Mr. Modi gave the slogan ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’, but in reality a BJP MLA in UP is accused of raping a woman and is protected by the party.”

New Generation Honda CR-V Launched in India

Honda Cars India (HCI) has finally rolled out the fifth-generation CR-V SUV in the Indian market. Launched at a starting price of Rs 28.15 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Honda CRV 2018 will take head-to-head against the cars like Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq. With a generation change, the SUV receives two major upgrades including a 7-seats layout and a diesel engine.

The SUV carline is available in variants petrol CVT 2WD, diesel 2WD and diesel AWD. Price of the petrol variant is Rs 28.15 lakh and the diesel models are made available at Rs 30.65 lakh (2WD) and Rs 32.75 lakh (4WD). All prices are ex-showroom, India. 2. NEW DIESEL ENGINE

While diesel version comes with AWD (all-wheel-drive) system, the petrol model gets FWD (front-wheel-drive) only. UP ATS Gets Three-day Transit Remand of Alleged Pak Spy Nishant Agarwal

Nagpur: The Nagpur Sessions Court on Tuesday granted three-day transit remand of Brahmos engineer Nishant Agarwal to Uttar Pradesh ATS.

Agarwal was arrested on Monday on charges of spying. Agarwal, a DRDO employee, was nabbed for allegedly spying for Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence. He allegedly chatted with Pakistan-based IDs on social media, said Aseem Arun, IG UP ATS.

Agarwal’s personal computer was also seized during a raid at his residence in Nagpur. “Very sensitive info was found on his personal computer…We also found evidence of him chatting on facebook with Pakistan based IDs,” Arun was quoted as saying. Agarwal was working at the Brahmos Unit in Nagpur.

The facility where Agarwal worked makes BrahMos missile fuel. As per media reports, Agarwal had previously leaked sensitive information to the United States as well.

नागपुर : शहर के गड्डी गोदाम क्षेत्र के गोवा कॉलोनी झोपड़पटटी के पास वाले रेलवे ट्रैक के बगल में आज सबेरे अंदाजन एक ६ साल के बच्चे का शव बरामद किया गया | यह क्षेत्र सदर पुलिस थाना अंतर्गत आता है, आज सुबह अंदाजन ६ साल के बच्चे का शव रेलवे ट्रैक के बगल में ट्रेक में बिछाए हुए पत्थर (गिट्टी) में कम्बल से ढ़ाकाहुवा दिखाई दिया | बच्चे के शरीर पर कहीं भी किसी प्रकार के जख्म के निशान नहीं पाए गए है, सिर्फ उसके नाक से थोड़ी मात्रा में खून दिखाई दिया है|

प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार शव २४ घंटे पहले का होने का अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है, शहर पुलिस इस घटना को लेकर काफी गंभीर है, पुलिस के पास अभी तक किसी बच्चे की किडनैपिंग, फिरौती की शिकायत किसी थाने में दर्ज नहीं है | पुलिस ने घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर पंचनामा कर शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए हस्पताल भेजा है, घटना को लेकर कई तरह की कहानिया बनाई जा रही है, कुछ लोगो के अनुसार कल पितृ मोक्ष अमावस्या होने के वजह बच्चा किसी के नरबली का शिकार हुवा है | इस गंभीर घटना की जानकारी जुटाने में सदर पुलिस जुटी है, जिसके बाद यह पता लगेगा की सच्चाई क्या है |

‘गुगल प्लस’ बंद होणार; फेसबुक पुढं फेल

फेसबुकला टक्कर देण्यासाठी सुरू केलेली सोशल नेटवर्किंग साइट ‘गुगल प्लस’ अत्यल्प प्रतिसादामुळे बंद करत असल्याची घोषणा गुगलने केली आहे. या साइटवरून लोकांचा गोपनीय डेटा चोरीला जात असल्यामुळे गुगलने हा निर्णय घेतल्याची सर्वत्र चर्चा आहे.

फेसबुकचा वाढता प्रतिसाद पाहता २०११मध्ये गुगलनेही सोशल नेटवर्किंग साइट सुरू करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला होता. त्यानुसार २८ जून २०११ला गुगल प्लस ही वेबसाइट सुरू करण्यात आली. या वेबसाइटला फेसबुकच्या तुलनेत अत्यल्प प्रतिसाद मिळाला. तरीसुद्धा ही साइट ७ वर्ष सुरू होती. पण यंदा मार्चमध्ये या वेबसाइटवरून ५ लाख लोकांचा गोपनीय डेटा चोरीला गेल्याचं गुगलच्या निर्दशनास आलं.

२०१५ पासून ही डेटा चोरी बेमालूमपणे सुरू होती. त्यानंतर गुगलचं सायबर सुरक्षा पथक कामाला लागलं. काही दिवसांपूर्वी सायबर सुरक्षा पथकाने आपलं कार्य चोख केलं असून आता गुगल प्लसवरचा डेटा सुरक्षित आहे असं स्पष्टीकरण गुगलने दिलं. पण नक्की डेटा कशामुळे चोरीला जात होता, या डेटा चोरीमागे कोणत्या संस्थेचा हात होता याबाबत मात्र गुगलने काहीच स्पष्टीकरण दिलं नाही. यामुळे गुगल प्लस खरोखरच सुरक्षित आहे का हा प्रश्न अनेक सायबर तज्ज्ञांनी विचारला. या सगळ्या प्रकरणाला पूर्णविराम देण्यासाठी आता गुगल प्लस बंद करण्याची घोषणा गुगलने केली आहे. गुगल प्लसवरून होणारी डेटा चोरी थांबवू न शकल्यामुळेच गुगलने हा निर्णय घेतल्याची सायबर वर्तुळात चर्चा आहे.

नागपुर : दशहरा यानी बुराई पर सत्य की विजय और इसी हिन्दू मान्यता नुसार दशहरे को देश के हर हिस्सों में रावण का दहन किया जाता है | किन्तु रावण यह खलनायक नहीं था वह कर्तव्यदक्ष और विवेकवादी राजा था ऐसा दावा बिरसा क्रान्ति दल ने कर रावण की महापूजा की है | शहर के ऊंटखाना मैदान पर यह अनोखा महापूजा का कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया था | बिरसा क्रान्ति दल पिछले कई वर्षो से “रावण महागोगो” इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन कर रही है | बिरसा क्रान्ति दल के संस्थापक अध्यक्ष दशरथ मड़ावी कहते है रावण एक समृद्ध संस्कृति का प्रतिक है इसके साथ ही रावण में अनेक अच्छे गुन थे वे एक दार्शनिक राजा थे |

बता दे नागपुर, अमरावती, यवतमाल जैसे कुछ जिलों में गोंड जनजाति की नई पीढ़ी अब खुलकर राम की जगह रावण की पूजा करते है। वे रावण को गोंड सम्राट राजा रावण भी कहते है | दरअसल, रावण का मातृ पक्ष अनार्य था, इसलिए आदिवासी समुदाय उसे अपना देवता मानते हैं। इन क्षेत्रों में दशहरे के दिन रावण की पूजा की जाती है, और रावण की जय में रैलियां भी निकाली जाती हैं। आदिवासियों में वंश परंपरा मातृसत्तात्मक होती है।

रावण की माता कैकसी जिसे निकशा या केशनी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, वह रावण के नाना सुमाली और मेरुमति की पुत्री थीं। यही वजह है कि मातृसत्तात्मक पद्धति होने से रावण को आदिवासी कुल का माना जाता है। आदिवासी में केवल गोंड ही नहीं, बल्कि माड़िया गोंड, कोरकू गोंड आदि भी रावण की पूजा करते हैं। नागपुर के गोंडवाना विकास मंडल में भी रावण की इन दिनों भव्य पूजा दशहरे के दिन की जाती है।

Jeremy Lalrinnunga wins India’s first-ever gold medal at Youth Olympics

Jeremy Lalrinnunga won the first gold medal for India at the Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina by lifting a combined weight of 274kgs in the Men’s 62kg Group A event of weightlifting on Tuesday.

Jeremy Lalrinnunga put up a massive effort to scoop the gold as he lifted 150kgs in his last attempt in the clean and jerk round to record a total of 274 kgs. In the snatch round, Lalrinnunga has lifted 120kgs in his first attempt and then lifted 124kgs in the third attempt after having failed int he second.

With 124kgs after the snatch round, Lalrinnunga was already on top of the moment after which, he showed great mettle in lifting 142kgs and 150kgs in clean and jerk to win the gold medal.

This is India’s fourth medal in Buenos Aires with Shahu Tushar Mane, Mehuli Ghosh and Tababi Devi Thangjam winning silver medals in shooting and judo, respectively.

NMC to raze all illegal religious structures by November 30

Nagpur : The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) informed the Nagpur bench of Bombay on Wednesday that it is likely to raze all 1,521 illegal religious structures before November 30.

The submission was made by NMC commissioner Virendra Singh through counsel Sudhir Puranik by filing a exhaustive affidavit on its action plan, and providing details about their numbers in various zones. A division bench comprising justices Bhushan Dharmadhikari and Zaka Haq then adjourned the hearing till next week.

Earlier, two intervention pleas were filed by two temple trusts, contending that the list of illegal structures prepared by NMC was defective. However, the court refused to hear their pleas after they failed to produce sanction maps for their premises.

The government roped in senior counsel Sunil Manohar to plead its case on Wednesday. He appealed for reconsideration of HC’s July 5 orders, where it had directed deduction of Re1/day from the salaries of top officials, including chief secretary Dinesh Kumar Jain, Urban Development Department (UDD) principal secretary, and revenue and home secretaries. However, the judges said it would be possible only after the civic body makes the city free of illegal structures.

The court was hearing a plea by Dr Gajanan Zade and Manohar Khorgade, through counsel Firdos Mirza, praying for removal of encroachments, including religious structures, pandals, stages, statues and others from roads, pavements and spaces.

Singh informed that NMC had removed 54 structures earlier, and from June 22 to July 23, another 134 were removed, taking to 188 the number of structures demolished till date. Six of these were on PWD land.

The corporation also laid out an action plan to remove all such structures from the city. Some 331 of the structures are on roads and footpaths, while another 71 existed prior to May 1, 1960, and are not to be demolished in view of SC orders, while two roadside structures were pending before the corporation’s panel. Till July 23, 174 shrines had been removed and NMC planned to raze 25 per week. With, 84 shrines yet to be demolished, the task would be completed within four weeks.

Nagpur : In a jolt to the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of the assembly and Lok Sabha elections next year, its MLA Ashish Deshmukh submitted his resignation on Monday.

Deshmukh, who was representing the Katol constituency in Nagpur district, said his resignation is a mark of protest against the “anti-farmer agenda” of the Devendra Fadnavis-led government in Maharashtra.

Speculations are rife that 44-year-old Deshmukh will join the Congress. His father and ex-cabinet minister Ranjit Babu Deshmukh is still part of the grand old party.

On Sunday, Deshmukh indicated that he may take on BJP heavyweight Nitin Gadkari in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Nagpur.

Maa – The divine power

India is a country where we celebrate 20 festivals in 12 months with grandeur and joy. It’s Ganpati Pujan last month and now its Durga Pujan on the cards.

Pandals are getting ready like brides, with decorations, clothing, food and its festivity everywhere.

We welcome Maa Durga with all respect, spend thousands and lakhs of rupees on it. There is a pandal and an Idol almost in every nook and corner of the street.

One question that comes to mind everytime a pandal is decorated and the Lord is welcomed is that “Did the Lord really wish to have all these grandeur and Pandals or She just wanted pure divine spirit”?

When we perform puja and show respect to Maa Durga why can’t we show respect to women in real. We discriminate her, disrespect her, take her for granted and most of the time people literally do not want a baby girl.

The crime against a women is rising alarmingly and the lavishness of the puja is multiplying. Is that mean we are showcasing all this for name and fame. Pity on us. To me, if we close our eyes and remember God and and pledge ourselves that we are not going to harm anybody in anyway that is the most powerful form of Puja.

Spirituality means humanity, respect for the fellow beings no matter who they are and what they are. You need not do anything separately to prove yourself and your spiritual side. Its “Perceptions Usha”

TCL 65X4 Android QLED AI TV announced, priced at Rs 1,09,990

TCL Electronics has announced the imminent launch of the TCL 65X4 Google-certified Android QLED TV and AI TV with Harman Kardon speakers and inbuilt Google Assistant. The 4K UHD TV will be launched in India for a retail price of Rs 1,49,990 but will be available this festive season for a special price of Rs 1,09,990 upon its launch.

The TCL 65X4 TV as the company claims will be India’s first Google-certified Android QLED TV with a 4K screen resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. The Quantum Dot QLED technology redefines on-screen viewing by replicating real-world colour volumes, while MEMC (120 Hz) enhanced with TCL’s proprietary algorithm ensures that viewers can experience every detail of fast-moving, action-packed content on both TV and multimedia signals.

The TCL 65X4 also comes with Harman Kardon speakers for powerful, high-impact sounds which will be accentuated by Dolby’s advanced DTS post-processing technology. The TV manages its performance with a 64-bit Quad-core CPU and Dual-core GPU that is also complemented by 2.5 GB RAM and 16 GB storage, allowing for seamless multitasking and reducing non-responsiveness.

A built-in Chromecast feature allows users to cast their favourite games, videos, and apps from their mobile phones in full quality – directly onto the TV. The TV offers its users a slew of entertainment apps including Jio Cinema, Netflix, YouTube, Hotstar, Voot, YuppTV and Eros Now. There’s an in-built Google Assistant, the AI-powered virtual super-assistant from Google, with Android 8.0 Oreo, allowing users to access entertainment, search for information, and control other connected devices across their home with just their voice.

TCL also expects to further disrupt the market with the launch of its S6500 AI TV series, comprising 32/43/49-inch Google-certified Android TVs equipped with Android 8.0 Oreo. The lineup will come with top-of-the-line features such as IPQ engine, HDR 10 support, micro dimming, Dolby Surround Sound, Google Chromecast, and white LED HD backlight.

Nagpur to host 18th State Mayors’ Conference on October 27

Nagpur: Nagpur will host 18th State Mayors’ Conference to be held on October 27. The conference is being held in city on the demand of Mayor Nanda Jichkar who is also Vice President of Maharashtra Mayors’ Council. Mayors across the state will attend the conference. The Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has been invited to inaugurate the event as chief guest and also provide guidance to the Mayors.

According to a letter issued by President of Maharashtra Mayors’ Council and Mayor of Brihan Mumbai Vishwanath Mahadeshwar, the 18th State Mayors’ Conference will be inaugurated at 12 noon on October 27.

नागपूर – वर्धा मार्गावर बस पलटली, २० प्रवासी सुदैवाने बचावले

नागपुर : नागपूर – वर्धा मार्गावर खडकी शिवारात राज्य परिवहन महामंडळ ची (एसटी) बस पलटी अपघातग्रस्त झाली. घटना सेलू तालुक्यातील असून खडकी शिवारातून बस जात असताना रोही जनावर अचानक बसच्या समोर आल्याने चालकाचे नियंत्रण सुटले आणि भरधाव बस रस्त्याच्या कडेला जाऊन पलटली. माहिती नुसार बसमध्ये २० च्या जवळ प्रवासी होते. सुदैवाने सर्व प्रवासी सुखरूप असून १ प्रवासी किरकोळ जखमी झ्यालयाची माहिती आहे.

रस्त्याचा भागात उतार असल्याने बस रस्त्याच्या बाजूला जाऊन पलटी झाली होती. घटने नंतर बसमधील प्रवासी स्वत: कसेबसे खिडकीमधून बाहेर निघाले, अशी माहिती देण्यात आली. यात १ प्रवासी किरकोळ जखमी झाल्याची माहिती सिंदी रेल्वे पोलिसांकडून देण्यात आली आहे. बस क्र. एमएच ४० बीसी १७४६ नागपूर डेपोची असून धम्मपाल वामनराव कांबळे हे वाहक, तर भाऊराव वाघमारे हे बसचे चालक होते. पण बसची स्थिती पाहता मोठा अपघात झाल्याचे कळून येते. पण सुदैवाने एकच प्रवासी किरकोळ जखमी झाला आहे. पोलिसांनी घटनेची नोंद करुण गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे, पुढे तपास करीत आहे.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2018 to William D. Nordhaus and Paul Romer.

The Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences was awarded on Monday to William Nordhaus for his work on climate economics and Paul Romer for his work on the endogenous growth theory, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced.

The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences is awarded in memory of Swedish philanthropist Alfred Nobel.

A total of 79 individuals have been awarded the honour from 1969 to 2017.

वर्षाअखेर नागपुरात येणार दोन मेट्रो

नागपूर मेट्रो रेल्वेसाठी चीनची सीआरआरसी कंपनी कोच तयार करीत आहे. येत्या डिसेंबरपर्यंत दोन ट्रेन नागपुरात दाखल होणार असल्याचे महामेट्रोकडून सांगण्यात आले.

नागपूर मेट्रोसाठी सीआरआरसी कंपनीला ६९ कोच निर्मितीचे काम दिले आहे. तीन कोचेचची एक मेट्रो नागपुरातील मेट्रो मार्गावरून धावणार आहे. एकूण २३ ट्रेन तयार करण्याचे काम सुरू आहे. यापैकी दोन ट्रेन डिसेंबरपर्यंत नागपुरात दाखल होणार आहे. दोन मेट्रो ट्रेनपैकी एकाची निर्मिती झाली असून त्यात आवश्यक उपकरणे बसविण्याची प्रक्रिया सुरू आहे. सीआरआरसी तयार करत असलेले कोचेसमध्ये आधुनिक सोयी सुविधा असणार आहे. विशेषतः लहान मुलांसह महिला आणि वृद्धांसाठी आवश्यक त्या सर्व बाबींकडे अगदी बारकाईने लक्ष देण्यात आले असल्याचे महामेट्रोकडून सांगण्यात आले.

जपानहून सुटे भाग

कोचेसच्या निर्मितीसाठी विविध प्रकारचे सुमारे तीन हजार सुटे भागांची आवश्यकता असते. कोचेस मध्ये लागणारे उपकरण, बैठक सीट व इतर बाबींकडे विशेष लक्ष देण्यात आले आहे. संगणकाच्या साह्याने स्टेनलेस स्टीलचे शीट्स आवश्यक त्या आकारानुसार कापल्या जातात व रोबोटच्या मदतीने वेल्डिंगचे केले जाते. कोच तयार करण्यासाठी अंडरफ्रेम, साइड वॉल, एंड वॉल, रूफ आणि कॅब स्ट्रक्चर इत्यादी सर्व भाग जोडले जातात. कोचेस मध्ये लागणारे इन्व्हर्टर आणि इतर काही उपकरणे जपानमध्ये तयार केले असून हे उपकरणे सीआरआरसी कारखान्यात पाठविण्याची प्रक्रिया झाली आहे.

परीक्षणानंतर नागपुरात येणार

कोचेस तयार करण्याची प्रक्रिया पूर्ण होताच डालियन येथे विविध (स्थिर आणि गतिशील) चाचण्या करण्यात येईल. यात वेयिंग टेस्ट (प्रत्येक रिकाम्या कोचेसचे वजन), वाहन स्टॅटिक गेज टेस्ट (फिरत्या कोचेसच्या विविध मानकांचे परीक्षण), वॉटर लीकेज टेस्ट (पाणी कोचेस मध्ये येणार नाही यासाठी करण्यात येणारे परीक्षण), सिग्नल सिस्टीम इन्स्टॉलेशन टेस्ट ( तयार झालेल्या कोचेस मधील विविध प्रणालींची योग्य तपासणी) इत्यादी चाचण्यांचा समावेश आहे. या सर्व चाचण्या यशस्वीरित्या पूर्ण झाल्यानंतर ६ कोचेस (दोन मेट्रो ट्रेन) सीआरआरसी येथून नागपूरला आणल्या जातील. मिहान कार डेपो येथे कोचेस उतरविले जातील.

नागपूर : पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदींना राम मंदिर उभारण्यात काहीच रस नाही, असा आरोप विश्व हिंदू परिषदेचे माजी अध्यक्ष प्रवीण तोगडिया यांनी केला आहे. ते नागपूरमधील एका कार्यक्रमात बोलत होते. राम मंदिर उभारण्यात भाजप नाहीतर मोदी खरा अडथळा आहेत.

मोदींनी सत्तेत येण्यापुर्वी राम मंदिर उभारण्याचं आश्वासन दिलं होतं. सत्तेत आल्यावर मात्र त्यांना त्याचा विसर पडला आहे, अशी टीका तोगडिया यांनी केली आहे. एससी, एसटी अशा प्रश्नांवर मोदी संसदेत निर्णय घेतात. राम मंदिराचा विषय आल्यावर तो न्यायप्रविष्ठ असल्याचं सांगून मोदी यातून काढता पाय घेतात, असा आरोपही त्यांनी यावेळी केला आहे.

महाराष्ट्रात हुक्काबंदीची अधिसूचना जारी !

मुंबई : महाराष्ट्र सरकारने हुक्का पार्लरवर बंदी लागू केली आहे. तसेच याबाबतची अधिसूचना सुद्धा राज्याच्या गृहविभागाने जारी केली आहे. सिगरेट आणि तंबाखू उत्पादनसंबंधी अधिनियम २००३ कायद्याचे उल्लंघन केल्यास एक लाख रुपये दंड आणि ३ वर्षांच्या शिक्षेची तरतूद यामध्ये करण्यात आली आहे.

हुक्का पार्लर बंदी लागू करणारं गुजरात नंतरच महाराष्ट्र हे दुसरं राज्य आहे. डिसेंबर २०१७ रोजी झालेल्या नागपूर अधिवेशनात भाजपचे मुंबईतील आमदार मंगलप्रभात लोढा यांनी विधीमंडळात हुक्का पार्लर बंदी विधेयकाचा प्रस्ताव मांडला होता. दरम्यान, यावर्षी म्हणजे एप्रिलमध्ये २०१८ मध्ये हे विधेयक विधीमंडळात पारित करण्यात आलं. अखेर राष्ट्रपतींनी मंजुरी दिल्यानंतर महाराष्ट्र सरकारने ही अधिसूचना जारी केली आहे.

यापूर्वीच्या घटनांचा आढावा घेतल्यास लोअर परळ येथे कमला मिलमध्ये डिसेंबर २०१७ मध्ये हे अग्नितांडव झालं होत, त्यात हुक्का पार्लरमुळे आग लागून १४ लोकांचा बळी गेला होता. त्यानंतर खडबडून जाग आलेल्या महाराष्ट्र सरकारने ही बंदी लागू करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला होता.

Breaking: Maharashtra ATS arrested ISI agent from BrahMos missile unit Nagpur

Nagpur: A suspected ISI agent was arrested on Monday from BrahMos missile unit in Maharashtra’s Nagpur for allegedly leaking technical secrets to Pakistan. The agent was nabbed in a joint operation led by teams of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra ATS (Anti-Terrorism Squad)

The accused has been identified as Nishant Agrawal, who is said to be working at Brahmos Aerospace unit since four years. He has been booked under the Official Secrets Act. Police said it is investigating the matter further.

The agent was held on charges of data collection and leakage, while other details are being ascertained. An investigation is underway.

Last month,the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) had arrested a BSF jawan from Noida on the charge of sharing vital information with Pakistan ISI agents.

महेंद्रसिंह धोनी विजय हजारे चषकात खेळण्याची शक्यता

वेस्ट इंडिजविरुद्ध वन-डे मालिकेआधी महेंद्रसिंह धोनी झारखंडकडून विजय हजारे चषकात खेळण्याची शक्यता आहे. आशिया चषकात भारतीय संघाने विजय मिळवल्यानंतर आगामी मालिकेसाठी धोनी सरावाच्या दृष्टीकोनातून विजय हजारे चषकात खेळू शकतो. असं घडल्यास 2017 सालानंतर धोनी पहिल्यांदा या स्पर्धेत खेळेल.

झारखंड सध्या क गटात पहिल्या स्थानावर आहे. 11 ऑक्टोबर रोजी झारखंड सेनादलाविरुद्ध आपला अखेरचा साखळी सामना खेळेल. यानंतर 14 ऑक्टोबरपासून स्पर्धेची बाद फेरी सुरु होणार आहे. आशिया चषकानंतर धोनी झारखंडकडून साखळी सामन्यात खेळणार होता, मात्र त्याला खेळता आलं नाही. मुंबई मिररच्या वृत्तानुसार बाद फेरीच्या सामन्यांमध्ये धोनी झारखंडकडून खेळण्याची शक्यता आहे.

Hookah parlour raided at Chill Out Cafe in Nandanvan

Nagpur : Even as Maharashtra government followed the Gujarat’s structure and banned hookah in the state, the menace is far from over, at least in Nagpur. Close on the heels of this ban, yet another hookah joint was raided at Chill Out Cafe and Restaurant in Hiwri Nagar under Nandanvan.

City’s crime branch sleuths have also booked five persons under the relevant act. It may be mentioned that after the amendment in the act, there is a provision of fine of Rs 1 lakh and imprisonment of up to three years for violations.
During the raid, accused who have been booked are owners — Rohit Naharkar (23), a resident of Gangabai ghat; Harshad Kiran kumar Shahu (20), a resident of Plot No. 103, New Prashant Nagar, Hiwri Nagar; and waiters — Harshad Arvind Badule (20), Suraj Dilip Patne (19) and Nilesh Anil Sambare (22). The cops seized eight hookah pots, flavoured tobacco, DVR and other material collectively worth Rs 24,000.

DCP Detection Sambhaji Kadam said that now the police will double attack on such spots and gear to put an end to the hookah parlours.

OnePlus 6T available for pre-orders via Amazon India; Users offered free Type-C earphones

OnePlus 6T has been made available for pre-orders via Amazon India. This has been spotted by MySmartPrice and Android Pure, who have reported that the upcoming OnePlus flagship can be booked online until October 30. Also, shoppers can receive benefits like free type-C earphones, as well as Amazon Pay balance with the offer.

In a tweet from October 7, OnePlus India had tweeted that the company would give an ‘exciting announcement’ regarding the upcoming flagship. A Twitter user replied with a screenshot of the pre-booking deal from the Amazon India app.

As per the latest reports, OnePlus 6T was spotted through the platform’s ‘Today’s Deals’ section, under the ‘All Deals’ segment. If consumers choose to book the phone through Amazon.in, they would be eligible benefits like cashback worth Rs 500 in the form of Amazon Pay balance. In addition, consumers could also receive type-C earphones, and these will be OnePlus’ new type-C Bullets earphones.

The upcoming OnePlus phone, which is being promoted through teaser videos, is expected to launch globally on October 17. OnePlus 6T price in India is expected to be Rs. 36999. The Amazon India ‘Notify Me’ page for OnePlus 6T has been live since late last month. The phone will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, with a waterdrop style notch and a screen aspect ratio of 19:9.

The display is expected to offer Corning Gorilla Glass protection, as it houses the in-display fingerprint scanner, that enables the ‘Screen Unlock’ feature. OnePlus 6T will be based on Android 9 Pie, and will run the Snapdragon 845 processor. The battery backup of this OnePlus flagship is rumoured to be 3700mAh battery, and it will support the company’s DashCharge technology.
