नागपूर : शहराचा पालकमंत्री या नात्याने जनता आणि शासन यांच्यातील सेतू म्हणून काम करण्याची जबाबदारी आहे. त्यादृष्टीने शहरातील नागरिकांना भेडसावणा-या समस्या ऐकून घेउन त्यावर योग्य निर्णय घेण्यासाठी ‘जनसंवाद’ होत आहे. केंद्र व राज्य सरकारने नागरिकांच्या सुविधांसाठी अनेक महत्वपूर्ण योजना आणल्या आहेत. या योजनांचा प्रत्येक लाभार्थ्याला लाभ मिळावा यासाठी सदैव प्रयत्नरत आहोत. या योजना नागरिकांना मिळाव्यात यासाठी नागरिकांपर्यंत पोहोचणे महत्वाचे आहे. नियमानुसार असणारी सर्व कामे करण्यास सरकार सदैव कटिबद्ध आहे. ‘जनसंवाद’मध्ये प्रत्येक नागरिकाने मांडलेल्या तक्रारीवर योग्य निर्णय होणारच, अशी ग्वाही पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी दिली.
नागपूर शहरातील जनतेशी थेट संवाद साधण्यासाठी, त्यांच्या समस्या व अडचणी जाणून घेण्यासाठी जिल्ह्याचे पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी महापालिका झोननिहाय जनसंवाद कार्यक्रमाचे नियोजन केले आहे. याच नियोजनांतर्गत सोमवारी (ता. ७) गांधीबाग झोनमध्ये ‘जनसंवाद’ केला. यावेळी ते बोलत होते.
मंचावर महापौर नंदा जिचकार, आमदार कृष्णा खोपडे, गिरीश व्यास, उपमहापौर दीपराज पार्डीकर, स्थायी समिती सभापती वीरेंद्र कुकरेजा, गांधीबाग झोन सभापती वंदना येंगटवार, आरोग्य समिती सभापती मनोज चापले, ज्येष्ठ नगरसेवक प्रवीण दटके, दयाशंकर तिवारी, नगरसेवक ॲड. संजय बालपांडे, जुल्फेकार भुट्टो, राजेश घोडपागे, मो. इरफान अंसारी, नगरसेविका श्रद्धा पाठक, सुमेधा देशपांडे, विद्या कन्हेरे, सरला नाईक, आशा उईके, नेहा वाघमारे, सैयदा बेगम अंसारी, अपर आयुक्त रवींद्र ठाकरे, राम जोशी, सहायक आयुक्त अशोक पाटील यांच्यासह विविध विभागांचे विभागप्रमुख व विविध शासकीय कार्यालय, तसेच ओसीडब्ल्यू, एसएनडीएलचे पदाधिकारी उपस्थित होते.
प्रारंभी अपर आयुक्त रवींद्र ठाकरे यांनी गांधीबाग झोनमधून १७२ तक्रारी प्राप्त झाल्याची माहिती दिली. या सर्व तक्रारी पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी ऐकून घेतल्या. संबंधित अधिका-यांकडून तक्रारींवर करण्यात आलेल्या कारवाई संबंधी माहिती मागवून त्यावर तात्काळ कार्यवाही करण्याचे निर्देश यावेळी पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी दिले.
नागरिकांच्या मुलभूत समस्या सोडविण्यासाठी शासन निधीची कमतरता पडू देणार नाही. मात्र अधिका-यांनी कामात कुचराई न करता नागरिकांच्या समस्या प्राधान्याने सोडवावे, असेही त्यांनी निर्देशित केले. पट्टे वाटपासंदर्भातच्या तक्रारींवर पालकमंत्र्यांनी शासनाची सकारात्मक भूमिका स्पष्ट केली. शासनाने १७ नोव्हेंबर २०१८ रोजी काढलेल्या आदेशानुसार यातील अडचण पूर्णपणे दूर झाली आहे. झुडपी जंगलांच्या जागेचे प्रकरण उच्च न्यायालयात असल्याने झुडपी जंगल वगळता सर्वच जागांवरील नागरिकांना ५०० फुटापर्यंतच्या जागेचे पट्टे वाटप करण्यात येणार आहे. तसेच प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजनेंतर्गत सर्वांना अडीच लाखाचे घर देण्यात येणार असल्याचेही पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी घोषित केले.
नागरिकांना मुलभूत सुविधा प्रदान करण्यासोबतच प्रत्येकाच्या जीवाचे रक्षण करणे ही शासनाची जबाबदारी आहे. राज्यात कोणत्याही व्यक्तीला उपचाराविना जीव गमवावा लागू नये, यासाठी शासनाने आयुष्यमान योजना सुरू केली आहे. याद्वारे आजारावर उपचारासाठी शासनाकडून पाच लाख रूपये मदत दिली जाणार आहे. याशिवाय सर्वांना नेहमी अन्न मिळावे यासाठी सर्वांना अन्न पुरवठा या योजनेद्वारे ऑनलाईन प्रक्रिया केली जाणार आहे. या योजनेद्वारे केशरी शिधापत्रिका धारकांना आरसीआयडी क्रमांक ऑनलाईन करावे लागणार आहे. या दोन्ही योजनांचा नागरिकांना पुरेपुर लाभ मिळावा यासाठी प्रत्येक नगरसेवकांनी आपापल्या प्रभागातील नागरिकांना भेटून विमा काढणे तसेच प्रभागातील रेशन दुकानांमध्ये जावून ऑनलाईन करण्यासाठी शिबिर घेण्याचे आवाहनही यावेळी पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी यावेळी केले.
प्रारंभी गांधीबाग झोनच्या सभापती वंदना येंगटवार यांनी पालकमंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांच्यासह आमदार कृष्णा खोपडे, गिरीश व्यास, महापौर नंदा जिचकार यांचे स्वागत केले. संचालन जनसंपर्क अधिकारी अशोक कोल्हटकर यांनी केले.
NAGPUR :Sadbhav Engineering announced that Nagpur – Mumbai Super Communication Expressway (a Govt. of India undertaking) vide its letter dated 05 January 2019 has declared 05 January 2019 as ‘Appointed Date’ for the following project.
“Construction of Access Controlled Nagpur Mumbai Super Communication Expressway (Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg) in the State of Maharashtra on EPC Mode for Package 5, From Km. 217.023 to Km. 259.900 (Section -Village Kinhiraja to Village Kenwad) in District Washim”.
Construction period of the above project is 30 months with Defect Liability Period of 48 months and contract value of the project as per contract agreement is Rs 1620 crore.
NAGPUR : Prisoners of the Nagpur Central Jail in Maharashtra who have taken up academic courses will now get their queries answered by teachers through a new inclusive radio counselling facility started for them.
The ‘mediated phone-in radio counselling’, launched by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) here on Tuesday, will help prisoners in their academic studies without compromising the jail’s security, IGNOU’s regional director P Sivaswaroop said.
The ‘virtual classroom’ facility was inaugurated by Deputy Inspector General, Prisons (eastern region), Yogesh Desai and Sivaswaroop at IGNOU’s Gyan Vani radio channel studio here.
Prisoners’ education is a universally accepted principle to bring a change in their behaviour, make them academically strong, and to help them stand on their feet after release from jail, Sivaswaroop said. While IGNOU has been offering various academic courses, this student-teacher interactive call back facility was not available for prisoners as they do not have access to phones in jail, he said.
“To circumvent this difficulty, an innovative method has been adopted by IGNOU here. Prisoners will now listen to lessons imparted by teachers on the FM radio channel. They will write their doubts/queries on a paper and give it to the IGNOU’s jail coordinator,” he said.
The coordinator will immediately call the Gyan Vani studio from the jail office phone and read out the prisoner’s queries. The teacher in the studio will then provide answers on the radio channel, Sivaswaroop said.
Desai claimed that the ‘phone-in education’ programme was being started for the first time in the Nagpur Central Jail where several prisoners were pursuing academic courses offered by IGNOU.
नागपूर : एक लाख रुपयांत तीन लाखांच्या बनावट नोटा देण्याचे आमिष दाखवून राज्यभरात कोट्यवधीने गंडा घालणारी टोळीला डीसीपी हर्ष पोद्दार यांच्या पथकाने अटक केली. त्यांच्याकडून साडेचार लाख रुपयांच्या नोटा पोलिसांनी जप्त केल्या. टोळीचा म्होरक्या फरार झाला असून तिघांना अटक करण्यात आली. आरोपींना न्यायालयाने गुरुवारपर्यंत (ता. 10) पोलिस कोठडी सुनावली आहे.
पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, शनिवारी सायंकाळी सहायक पोलिस निरीक्षक ओमप्रकाश सोनटक्के यांनी प्रतापनगर हद्दीत खामला रोड, सीतानगर, शनिवार बाजार नागपूर येथे शैलेश भय्याजी रणदिवे (30, वैशालीनगर, पाचपावली), कौस्तुभ चंद्रकांत टिकले (27, कामगारनगर) नितीन ऊर्फ लखन रूपचंद लोखंडे (28, रा. केळापूर दहेगाव, जि. वर्धा) यांना अटक केली होती. तर टोळीचा म्होरक्या संघपाल गाणार हा फरार झाला होता. ही टोळी गुंतवणुकीच्या तिप्पट बनावट नोटा पुरविण्याचे आमिष दाखवत होती. कुणी पैसे घेऊन आल्यास तोतया पोलिसांचा छापा घालून त्याला लुटत होती. पोलिसांना पैसे द्यावे लागतात, अन्यथा अटक होईल, अशी भीती घालून पैसे उकळत होती.
बदनामीपोटी हेरलेला सावज पैसे देऊन स्वतःची सुटका करून घेत होता. अशाप्रकारे संघपाल गाणारने नागपूर पोलिस दलातील काही पोलिस कर्मचाऱ्यांना टोळीत सहभागी करून घेतले होते, अशी माहिती आहे. बनावट नोटांचा व्यवहार होत असताना पोलिस छापा घालत होते. त्यानंतर लुटलेला माल आपापसात वाटून घेतला जात होता. कौस्तुभ टिकले याच्या खिशातून एका वृत्तपत्राचे ओळखपत्रही पोलिसांना मिळाले आहे.

While the trailer of the movie left us floored, the titles track of it is no less. It is not just melodious but is as good as the original song which starred Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala.
For the uninitiated, the song is the remake of 1942: A Love Story’s song with the same name. While that song was composed by RD Burman and sung by Kumar Sanu, the new version has almost the same composition and has been sung by Darshan Raval and Rochak Kohli.
This film will reportedly see Sonam Kapoor playing a homosexual girl in love with another girl and Anil Kapoor will be seen playing her father who will oppose her for doing so. Rajkummar Rao will be seen as Sonam’s friend who also loves her. The name of Sonam’s love interest has not been revealed yet but rumour has it that it is Regina Cassandra.
Apart from this film. Sonam will also be seen playing the titular character in The Zoya Factor will Dulquer Salmaan.
नागपूर : आज महिला सक्षमीकरणाच्या बाबतीत बोलले जाते परंतु महिला सक्षमीकरणात आजही अडचणी आहेत. त्याचे मुख्य कारण म्हणजे आज प्रत्येक क्षेत्रात महिलांनी आव्हाने स्वीकारली आहेत. याचाच त्रास पुरूषी प्रवृत्तीला होत असल्यामुळे आजही महिलांवर दबाव येत असतो. याच पुरूषी प्रवृत्तीचा महिलांना त्रास होत असल्याचे प्रतिपादन पत्रकार सरिता कौशिक यांनी केले.
नागपूर महानगरपालिकेच्या महिला व बालकल्याण समिती व समाज कल्याण विभागाच्या वतीने शहर समृध्दी उत्सवांतर्गत आयोजित ‘महिला उद्योजिका मेळाव्याच्या’ दुसऱ्या दिवसाच्या उद्घाटनप्रसंगी त्या बोलत होत्या. मंचावर पत्रकार संघाचे अध्यक्ष प्रदीप मैत्र, आयबीएन लोकमतचे प्रवीण मुधोळकर, राजेश्वर मिश्रा, टाईम्स ऑफ इंडियाच्या बरखा माथुर, दैनिक भास्करच्या दिप्ती मुळे, महिला व बालकल्याण समितीच्या सभापती प्रगती पाटील, उपसभापती विशाखा मोहोड, समितीच्या सदस्या दिव्या धुरडे, रश्मी धुर्वे उपस्थित होत्या.
पुढे बोलताना सरिता कौशिक म्हणाल्या, महिलांना जरी त्रास होत असला तरी प्रत्येक आव्हाने त्या लिलया पेलत आहेत. प्रत्येक क्षेत्रात यशाची शिखरे पादाक्रांत करीत आहेत. नागपूर महानगरपालिकेने महिला उद्योजिका मेळावा आयोजित करून आव्हाने स्वीकारणाऱ्या अशा महिलांना बळ दिले आहे. या मेळाव्याच्या माध्यमातून महिला आर्थिकदृष्ट्या सबल होतील, असा विश्वासही त्यांनी यावेळी व्यक्त केला.
पत्रकार संघाचे अध्यक्ष प्रदीप मैत्र म्हणाले, महिला सक्षमीकरणाच्या दृष्टीने नागपूर महानगरपालिकेचा हा उपक्रम अभिनंदनीय आहे. नागपूर शहराची बहुतांश क्षेत्राची धुरा महिलांच्या हाती आहे. महिला सक्षमीकरणासाठी नागपूर देशात एक आदर्श उदाहरण ठरेल, असे त्यांनी सांगितले.

महिला उद्योजिका मेळाव्याच्या निमित्ताने दुसऱ्या दिवशीही स्त्री कर्तृत्वाचा सन्मान करण्यात आला. योग शिक्षक असलेले दाम्पत्य हरीभाऊ आणि सुषमा क्षीरसागर, स्वाध्याय शिबिराच्या माध्यमातून ताण तणाव मुक्तीवर व्याख्यान देणाऱ्या तृप्ती नेरकर, पत्रकार रेवती जोशी-अंधारे, सामाजिक कार्यकर्त्या नाहीद फाजील, व्यावसायिक छायाचित्रकार संगीता महाजन, उद्योजिका विनी मेश्राम यांचा सन्मान चिन्ह देऊन प्रमुख पाहुण्यांच्या हस्ते सत्कार करण्यात आला.
लोकशाही पंधरवाडा जनजागरण
राज्य निवडणूक आयोगाच्या वतीने २५ जानेवारी ते १० फेब्रुवारी दरम्यान लोकशाही पंधरवाड्याचे आयोजन करण्यात येत आहे. या निमित्त व्यापक प्रमाणात जनजागृती करण्यात येत आहे. नागपूर महानगरपालिकेच्या वतीने आज मेळाव्याच्या ठिकाणी सोडण्यात आलेल्या ‘बलून’वर मतदार नोंदणीचा संदेश देण्यात आला. ‘उठ मतदारा जागा हो, मतदानाचा धागा हो!’ यासोबतच ‘मतदार नोंदणी करा, लोकशाही बळकट करा’ असा संदेश देण्यात आला. मतदार नोंदणीबाबत जनजागृती करणारे फलकही मेळावा परिसरात लावण्यात आले आहे.
दीपाली साठेंच्या गाण्यांवर रसिकही थिरकले
सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमाच्या मेजवानीत बॉलिवुडमधील ‘प्ले-बॅक सिंगर’ दीपाली साठे यांच्या संगीत रजनीचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. साठच्या दशकापासून अगदी आतापर्यंतच्या गाजलेल्या गीतांची मैफल दीपाली साठेंनी रंगविली. गायक आणि श्रोते यांच्यातही जुगलबंदी रंगली. दीपाली साठेंच्या ‘परफॉर्मन्स’ला यात्रा बॅण्डने सोबत दिली.
NAGPUR :Hotel Radisson blu is back on news again, this time too but for wrong reasons. At the recent raid of food and Administration officials followed by the complaint of worms found in food there, the police have now busted a high profile sex racket being run from the hotel’s room.
The cops have also arrested two persons and a girl engaged in prostitution. Sources said the girl, who hails from Kolkata has been reportedly staying at hotel’s room no.202 for the last 10 days. She was reportedly called on contact by the local agents and has been entertaining the customers in the room only.
Acting on a tip off, the cops sent a dummy customer to the hotel on Monday evening and swung into action as soon as the prostitution racket was confirmed.
Police have also seized a diary with numbers of VIPs in it. Investigation was on till the filling of the news.
Nagpur : Nagpur Metro Coaches manufactured by Chinese train manufacturer — CRRC will be arriving in city next week. Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) is simultaneously working on different fronts to accomplish the Herculean task to run the Metro in March 2019.
Two rakes of three coaches each will reach Nagpur next week. Maha Metro will take permission of Research Design and Standard Organisation (RDSO) and Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) to run it safely in Nagpur. Officers of Maha Metro received the coaches and inspected them in Chennai. The coaches have safety measures for children, senior citizens, LED bulbs, emergency doors, time-table, announcement system, interior designs and other facilities.
The coaches will be used on 38 kms railway length on the corridor connecting two-ends of the city. The company will supply 69 coaches and provide train maintenance services for next 10 years. The stainless-steel body train coaches are designed to run at a maximum speed of 80 kms per hour.
नागपुर : नागपुरात क्रीडा संस्कृती रुजविण्यात महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावणाऱ्या खासदार क्रीडा महोत्सव ला १२ जानेवारी रोजी प्रारंभ होत आहे. नियोजनाच्या आणि प्रवेशाच्या दृष्टीने संपर्क साधण्यासाठी सुरू करण्यात आलेल्या विभागीय कार्यालयाचे उद्घाटन रेशीमबाग येथील आई फाऊंडेशनच्या कार्यालयात मनपातील सत्तापक्ष नेते संदीप जोशी यांच्या हस्ते पार पडले.
यावेळी मनपाचे क्रीडा सभापती नागेश सहारे, नगरसेवक बाल्या बोरकर, सुनील मानेकर, डॉ. शरद सूर्यवंशी, ॲडविन ॲन्थोनी, राम वाणी, गुरुदेव नगरारे उपस्थित होते. फीत कापून कार्यालयाचे उद्घाटन करण्यात आले. यावेळी बोलताना सत्तापक्ष नेते संदीप जोशी म्हणाले, खासदार क्रीडा महोत्सवाच्या माध्यमातून विविध खेळांना आणि खेळाडूंना प्रोत्साहन देण्याचा प्रयत्न होत आहे. लाखो रुपयांच्या बक्षिसांची लयलूटही यामाध्यमातून होणार आहे. मागील वर्षी खासदार क्रीडा महोत्सवाला उदंड प्रतिसाद मिळाला. केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या संकल्पनेतून आयोजित या महोत्सवात यावर्षीही नागपुरातील प्रत्येक खेळाडूने या महोत्सवात सहभागी व्हावे, असे आवाहन श्री. जोशी यांनी केले.
क्रीडा सभापती नागेश सहारे म्हणाले, खेळाडूंना स्पर्धेची संपूर्ण माहिती मिळावी यादृष्टीने विभागीय कार्यालयाची सुरुवात करण्यात आली. या कार्यालयात प्रवेश अर्जही उपलब्ध आहेत. खेळाडूंच्या सोयीसाठी असलेल्या या कार्यालयाचा लाभ खेळाडूंनी घ्यावा, असे आवाहन त्यांनी केले.

Nagpur :Central government and Maharashtra Bank employees and autorickshaw drivers are going on strike on Tuesday to protest against BJP-led government’s policies. Pharmacists had also decided to down their shutters but now they will only submit memorandums. However, the BJP-affiliated trade union Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has decided not to participate in the strike.
Autorickshaw drivers affiliated to 16 different unions in the city, under the banner of Teen Seater Autorickshaw Chalak Samyukt Sangarsh Samiti, will stage an agitation at Samvidhan Square from 12 noon. The strike, which is a part of the two-day road blockae by the Samyukt Sangharsh Samiti, will be held as the government failed to listen to our grievances, said Harishchandra Pawar convener of the joint forum.
“Autorickshaw drivers are losing their employment due to wrong transport policlices of the government and also due to low fares offered to commuters by cab aggregators,” he said.
Nilesh Nasre, secretary of Confederation of Central Governmement Employees’ and Workers, said that many central employee will strike work on Tuesday and Wednesday over ten demands including filling up of vacant posts, cancelling the order the order to scrap posts that have been vacant since five yeas, paying arrears of HRA, increase in minimum wages, etc.
“Employees of Income Tax, Accounts and Audit, DPA & T, Postal III, Postal IV, RMS, IBM, GSI, DMI, CGHS, Civil Accoun,” he said. Maharashtra State Bank Employees Federation members will also go on two-day strike.
Meanwhile, employees of three state-run power companies — MSEDCL, Mahagenco and Mahatransco — went on a token strike on Monday. They were opposing restructuring of their companies and appointment of distribution franchisees in Mumbra-Shil-K Kalwa and Malegaon.

NAGPUR : With four tiger deaths in Vidarbha in last 8 days, wildlife continues to suffer in the region due to lack of protection and monitoring by the foresters.
In a shocking incident, two six-month-old leopard cubs were harassed after they were found abandoned near Koylari village in Sadak Arjuni range, 120km from here in Gondia Forest Division. The mother leopard is feared missing. According to Gondia deputy conservator of forest (DyCF) Yuvraj S, one cub was found on Sunday evening while another was the as traced in the same area on Monday morning. “Both the cubs have been shifted to Sakoli for better treatment,” he said.
One of the cubs was seen by locals near a brick kiln. They informed the forest officials at range office but as the staff along with rapid rescue team (RRT) arrived two hours latter, a motley crowd of villagers had thronged the place and ome of them even dragged the cub and harassed it.
The village where two cubs have been found falls in Navegaon-Nagzira Tiger Reserve (NNTR) corridor and is in the buffer. Wildlife continues to suffer as buffer zone has not been handed over to the tiger reserve, which is mandatory as per Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. Twenty days ago a full-grown leopard was shot dead in Gothangaon range range near Navegaon National Park. Both the accused who shot the leopard are out on bail.
According to Anil Kumar Nair, Wildlife Trust of India’s (WTI) Central India Tiger Conservation Project lead, the cubs look extremely weak as their mother seems to be missing.
“We shifted one cub to Kohmara from where it was shifted to Sakoli for better treatment. Both the cubs are under shock, especially after being attacked by people and loss of their mother,” Nair added.

It will be helmed by MC Mary Kom director Omung Kumar, who last directed Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari starrer ‘Bhoomi’. It was hailed as Dutt’s comeback venture.
The biopic based on PM Modi’s life has been titled as ‘PM Narendra Modi’ and the shooting will kickstart this month. The first look poster of the ambitious venture will be unveiled on January 7, 2019.
The Narendra Modi Cabinet on Monday approved a proposal for a 10% quota that is to be used to give reservations to economically backward sections of upper caste communities. The quota would require a Constitutional amendment to make it happen.
The Cabinet approval would give the government the go-ahead to explore amendments to Articles 15 and 16 of the Constitution, sources have told Media.
However, with only the Budget Session of Parliament left before the elections, it is highly unlikely that the government would be able to get such an amendment passed in time for coming 2019 lok Sabha elections. However, a bill for the Constitutional amendment is likely to be moved in Parliament on Tuesday.
Sources have said the new quota would have to be implemented in a 50+10 percent formula. This is meant to apply to direct recruitment and for admission in higher educational institutions. The reservation for the economically backward sections of the upper caste communities cutting across religious lines are the intended beneficiaries of the quota.
The ‘economically backward’ tag would be applicable to ‘upper caste’ families that have an annual income below Rs 8 lakh, own less than five hectares of agricultural land, own homes smaller than 1,000 sqft, own residential plots below 100 square yards in notified municipalities or 200 square in non-notified municipality areas.
नागपूर – चुकीच्या गाडीत बसल्याचे लक्षात येताच आई व मुलीने चक्क धावत्या रेल्वेतून उडी घेतली. यात आईचा घटनास्थळीच मृत्यू झाला तर मुलगी गंभीर जखमी झाली. ही दुर्दैवी घटना शनिवारी दुपारी १ वाजताच्या सुमारास अजनी रेल्वेस्थानकावर घडली. कल्पना खरवडे (४५) रा. महाल असे मृत आईचे तर रिना खरवडे (२७) असे जखमी मुलीचे नाव आहे.
लोहमार्ग पोलिसांकडून मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार कल्पना यांच्या पुतणीचा पांढुर्णा येथे लग्नसोहळा आहे. त्यात सहभागी होण्यासाठी दोघीही घरून निघाल्या. दुपारी नागपूर रेल्वेस्थानकावर पोहोचल्या. जीटी एक्स्प्रेसबाबत विचारणा करीत दोघीही गाडीत चढल्या. गाडी दिल्ली मार्गाने जाण्याऐवजी विरुद्ध दिशेला बल्लारशाकडे जात असल्याचे त्यांच्या लक्षात आले. डब्यातील प्रवाशांना विचारणा केली असता चुकीच्या गाडीत बसल्याचे समजले. यामुळे दोघीही घाबरल्या. तेव्हापर्यंत अजनी स्थानक आले होते.
अजनी स्थानकाच्या फलाट क्रमांक २ वरून जात असताना गाडीचा वेग काहीसा कमी झाला होता. घाबरलेल्या मायलेकींनी कसलाही विचार न करता एका मागून गाडीतून उडी घेतली. यात डोक्याला गंभीर दुखापत झाल्याने कल्पना यांचा घटनास्थळीच मृत्यू झाला. तर रिना यांच्या दोन्ही पायांना गंभीर दुखापत झाली आहे. या घटनेनंतर रेल्वेस्थानकावर एकच खळबळ उडाली. घटनेची माहिती मिळताच लोहमार्ग पोलिस आणि रेल्वे सुरक्षा दलाचे जवान घटनास्थळी पोहोचले.
रिना यांना उपचारासाठी मेडिकलमध्ये नेण्यात आले तर पंचनाम्यानंतर कल्पना यांचा मृतदेहसुद्धा मेडिकलकडे रवाना करण्यात आला. नावे आणि वेळ एकच असल्याने घोळ दोघींना पांढुर्ण्याकडे जाणाऱ्या जीटी एक्स्प्रेसमध्ये बसायचे होते. ही गाडी दुपारी नागपूर रेल्वेस्थानकावर येते. अगदी त्याच वेळी विरुद्ध दिशेला जाणारी जीटी एक्स्प्रेसही नागपूर स्थानकावर येते. नाव आणि वेळेतील समानतेमुळे मायलेकींना गाडीबाबत योग्य माहिती मिळाली नाही आणि घात झाला.
Nagpur : Union minister and city MP Nitin Gadkari caused a flutter when he praised the late prime minister Indira Gandhi. Addressing the gathering of women at the gathering of women at the inaugural of exhibition put up by women self-help groups, Gadkari said he did not believe in caste and reservation politics.
Gadkari said, “This nation had leaders like Indira Gandhi. She got better of many stalwart male leaders of her time. Did she get any reservation?”
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has frequently criticed Indira Gandhi especially for imposition of Emergency. Gadkari later also mentioned women leaders from BJP like Sushma Swaraj, Vasundhara Raje and Sumitra Mahajan. “Women should get reservation and I will not oppose it. “Need is to increase our skill and knowledge. If we have a good knowledge, party will come to your home and give ticket. Therefore, the NMC (Nagpur Municipal Corporation) should train women and increase their skill and empower them. At the same time, some sections and women need reservations,” he said.
The exhibition was organized at Reshimbagh ground, adjacent to RSS’ Hedgewar Smarak, on Sunday evening by NMC. Gadkari praised the civic body for distributing e-rickshaws worth Rs 1 crore to persons with disabilities.
“It is historic initiative. E-rickshaw is my brainchild. I faced a lot of problems when I brought a bill about e-rickshaws in Parliament. Some people even went to Supreme Court. Now e-rickshaws are all over the nation,” he said. Last year, the civic body distributed 70 e-rickshaws. Now, the NMC will be distributing 70 more.
Gadkari also suggested that NMC should run city buses on wet garbage being collected from the city. He advised Central Nagpur MLA Vikas Kumbhare to do branding of saoji food.
At the exhibition, the NMC has facilitated 300 stalls. The exhibition will continue till January 12.
After Ishqiya and Udta Punjab, director Abhishek Chaubey is back with the dacoit drama Sonchiriya. The makers of the upcoming film released its trailer on Monday, and as expected, it is immensely gripping and power packed.
Sonchiriya is grabbing eyeballs for its stupendous casting, that includes Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Ashutosh Rana, Manoj Bajpayee and Ranvir Shorey among others. It is a rustic and rooted tale set in the valleys of Chambal in the 1970s.
The trailer depicts inter-gang wars between the dacoit groups, fighting to acquire control of central India back then. And all this, as the government issues crackdowns on them. Bhumi, on the other side, plays a fiery woman who can easily pick guns to save her honour.
The trailer shows Sushant, Ranvir and Manoj as dacoits who fight for control as Ashutosh’s character is trying to clamp them down. And amid all this, Sushant’s character is planning to go against his group and surrender, in short, be a rebel.

Nagpur : In a sensational incident, a tiger was found dead in compartment no. 13 near Motha village jungle under Chikhaldara Range of East Melghat Division of Amravati Territorial Circle on Friday afternoon. This is the second case of tiger death in Maharashtra this year. The first death of one-year-old female tiger cub occurred in Khursapar beat of Deolapar Forest Range in Pench Tiger Reserve on January 3.
Beat Guard P P Salve and Forest Labour Tukoji Nikhade were on routine patrolling when they noticed carcass of the tiger. They informed Chikhaldara Range Forest Officer C B Kherde about the incident. He immediately reached the spot along with staff for investigation. Similarly, Saipun Imam Sheikh, Divisional Forest Officer, and Sanap, ACF, also rushed to the spot.
Veterinary Officer from Paratwada also reached the spot The post-mortem of the tiger was done on Saturday as it couold not be done after sunset as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). However, the cause of death would be known after getting post mortem report. Prima facie it appears that the tiger died due to old age. As per forest officers, no injury marks were founds on the carcass of tiger. Sheikh said that he would inform about the cause after after getting post-mortem report.

Sydney: Virat Kohli on Monday became the first Indian captain to register a Test series win in Australia. India and Australia played out a draw in the fourth Test after continuous rainfall over the large part of Day 4 and Day 5 affected proceedings and Australia’s chances of equalizing the series. With the anti-climax, India won the series 2-1.
In 11 previous attempts, India had only drawn a series in the longest format twice, while losing nine. Bishan Singh Bedi had led India to a series draw in 1977-78 tour, after which Sourav Ganguly had done the same in 2003-04 tour.
The 33-year old also became the first Indian captain to record two overseas series wins with victories in three matches. The right-handed batsman had previously led India to a historic whitewash against Sri Lanka in 2017. The Delhi player also became the first Indian skipper to register three Test match wins in a series outside the Asian subcontinent in 50 years. It was Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi who had done the same with a 3-1 series win against New Zealand in 1967-68.
With the win, Kohli also surpassed Ganguly as the most successful Indian captain in overseas conditions in Tests format with 12 wins to his name. He also joined the elite list comprising of Bishan Singh Bedi and Mushtaq Mohammad in becoming the most successful Asian captain in the format in Australia with three wins.
Nagpur : The six Metro coaches, which have been manufactured by China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC), left Chennai port for the city on Saturday. They were shipped from China to Chennai.
MahaMetro officials had gone to Chennai and they inspected the coaches after unpacking them. They were then again packaged and sent to Nagpur by road. MahaMetro will hold a ceremony in the city when they reach here.
These coaches will be used in commercial operation of Sitabuldi-Khapri and Sitabuldi-Hingna Road stretches, which is expected in March. More coaches are expected to reach the city from China by that time. At present MahaMetro has three coaches leased from Hyderabad Metro.
The design of the new coaches is same as that of the leased coaches. All the facilities provided in both are the same.

पुढे बोलताना ना. नितीन गडकरी म्हणाले, बचत गटांनी उद्योग सुरू करावा, उत्पादन घ्यावे, त्यांच्या उत्पादनांची त्यांनी मार्केटिंग करावी आणि त्यातून आर्थिकदृष्ट्या सबल व्हावे या संकल्पनेतून महिला उद्योजिका मेळाव्याची संकल्पना मांडली गेली. तत्कालिन महापौर अर्चना डेहनकर यांनी सुरू केलेला हा मेळावा अविरत सुरू आहे. विदर्भातून येथे बचत गटाच्या महिला येतात. नागपूर महानगरपालिकेने या महिलांना आता प्रशिक्षण देऊन त्यांच्या कौशल्यात भर घालावी. महिलांनीही अभिनव कल्पना समोर आणाव्या. काहीतरी नवीन केले तर बाजारात त्याला मागणी असते. आता नागपुरातील महिलांना प्लास्टिक गोळा करण्याचा मंत्र दिला. नागपूर महानगरपालिकेने हा उपक्रम सुरू केला आहे. ३ ते ४ रुपये किलोचे प्लास्टिक २० रुपये किलोने नागरिकांकडून विकत घ्यावे. डांबरी रोड ठेकेदारांना त्यांनी ३० रुपये दराने विकावे. आता डांबरी रस्त्यांमध्ये प्लास्टिकचा वापर करणे बंधनकारक केले आहे. त्याचा फायदा या महिलांना होईल. असे कचऱ्यातून मिळकत करण्याचे नवनवीन प्रयोग करा, असा सल्ला ना. नितीन गडकरी यांनी दिला. नागपूर महानगरपालिकेने दिव्यांग बांधवांना ई-रिक्षाचे वाटप केले, याचा आपणाला अधिक आनंद असल्याचा गौरवोल्लेख त्यांनी केला. नागपूरकरांनी या महिला उद्योजिका मेळाव्याला भेट देऊन आणि त्यांनी तयार केलेल्या वस्तू विकत घेऊन उद्यमशील महिला बचत गटांना प्रोत्साहन द्यावे, असे आवाहन यावेळी केले.
अध्यक्षस्थानावरून बोलताना महापौर नंदा जिचकार म्हणाल्या, महिला उद्योजिका राष्ट्रनिर्माणासाठी मदत करते. घरात जर उद्योजिका असली तर घरातील बालकांवर आपसूकच चांगले संस्कार घडतात. नागपूर महानगरपालिकेने आयोजित मेळाव्यासाठी सातदिवस पुरसे नाहीत. महिला बचत गटांच्या महिलांना महिला बचत गटांच्या महिलांना प्रशिक्षण मिळावे यासाठी कायमस्वरूपी प्रशिक्षण केंद्र आणि बाजारपेठ मिळावी, यासाठी आमचे प्रयत्न आहे आणि त्यासाठी आम्ही कटीबद्ध आहोत. राज्य शासनाच्या मदतीने लवकरच नागपुरात महिला बचत गटाच्या उत्पादनांना बाजारपेठ मिळावी, यासाठी खास मार्केट तयार होत असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले. महिला घराचे व्यवस्थापन योग्य प्रकारे करतात. त्यामुळेच व्यवसायतही त्या उत्तम लीडर ठरू शकतात. हेच हेरून नागपूर महानगरपालिकेने महिला बचत गटांची बांधणी सुरू केली. त्यांना उद्योग करण्यासाठी सहकार्य केले. आता त्यांच्या उत्पादनांना बाजारपेठ मिळवून देण्यासाठी अशा प्रकारचे महिला उद्योजिका मेळावे आयोजित करून त्यांच्या व्यवसायाला एक दिशा देण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत आहे. मनपाच्या महिला व बालकल्याण समितीचे यासाठी त्यांनी अभिनंदन केले.
प्रास्ताविक महिला व बालकल्याण समिती सभापती प्रगती पाटील यांनी केले. प्रास्ताविकातून त्यांनी महिला व बालकल्याण समितीने वर्षभर केलेल्या उपक्रमांची माहिती दिली. महिला व बालकल्याण समितीच्या माध्यमातून ५०० महिलांना वर्षभरात उद्योगाच्या माध्यमातून रोजगार उपलब्ध करून देण्याचे उद्दिष्ट समोर ठेवून कार्य सुरू आहे. ३८ प्रभागात बांबूच्या स्टॉलवरून महिला बचत गटाच्या महिला पौष्टिक भोजन देतील. महिलांचे बॅँड पथक, महिलांचे भजन मंडळ यासाठी टाकाऊतून टिकाऊ वस्तू बनविण्याचे प्रशिक्षण अशा विविध उपक्रमांवर त्यांनी प्रकाश टाकला. शहरातील गरीब वृद्धांसाठी वृद्धाश्रम सुरू करण्याचा मानसही त्यांनी व्यक्त केला.
प्रारंभी केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांनी महिला सक्षमीकरणाची मशाल पेटवून महिला उद्योजिका मेळाव्याचे उद्घाटन केले. महिला सशक्तीकरणाचा संदेश देणारा बलूनही ना. गडकरी यांच्या हस्ते आकाशात सोडण्यात आला. यानंतर ना. नितीन गडकरी, महापौर नंदा जिचकार व अन्य मान्यवरांचे स्मृतिचिन्ह व तुळशी रोप देऊन स्वागत करण्यात आले. कार्यक्रमाचे संचालन स्मिता खनगई यांनी केले. आभार कविता खोब्रागडे यांनी मानले. कार्यक्रमाला महानगरपालिकेचे पदाधिकारी, नगरसेवक, नगरसेविका, उद्योजक, गणमान्य व्यक्ती उपस्थित होते.

यावेळी विविध क्षेत्रातील कर्तृत्ववान महिलांचा सत्कार ना. नितीन गडकरी यांच्या हस्ते करण्यात आला. शहरातील कुत्र्यांसाठी निवारा तयार करणाऱ्या स्मिता मिरे, बाईकवरून हिमालय, मानस सरोवर अशी भ्रमंती करणाऱ्या गौरी डोळस, मुस्लीम महिला, मुलींच्या प्रश्नांवर काम करणाऱ्या रुबीना पटेल, अज्ञान महिलांना शिक्षणाच्या प्रवाहात आणणाऱ्या संगीता राऊत, मूक-बधीर असतानाही श्रिया प्रकाश खानझोडे यांचा सत्कारमूर्तींमध्ये समावेश होता.
सांगितिक मेजवानी, विविध उत्पादनांचे स्टॉल्स
महिला उद्योजिका मेळाव्याच्या पहिल्याच दिवशी उपस्थितांसाठी सांगितिक मेजवानीचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. कलावंतांनी एकापेक्षा एक सरस गीते गाऊन रसिकांना रिझविले. मेळाव्यात सुमारे ३०० स्टॉल्स लागले असून महिला बचत गटांची उत्पादने विक्रीस उपलब्ध आहेत. मेळावा १२ जानेवारीपर्यंत असून प्रदर्शन दुपारी १२ ते रात्री १० पर्यंत तर दररोज सायंकाळी ६ वाजता सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात येणार आहे.
Actor Alok Nath was granted anticipatory bail on Saturday after an FIR was registered against him by screenwriter and producer Vinta Nanda alleging rape 19 years after the incident. The City Civil and Sessions Court at Dindoshi was hearing his plea seeking protection from arrest.
On October 8, Ms. Nanda posted a Facebook status, recalling Mr. Nath’s misconduct on the sets of the popular 90s TV show Tara. The post talked about how Mr. Nath ‘viciously’ molested the protagonist of the show.
It said, “I can remember more liquor being poured into my mouth and I remember being violated endlessly.When I woke up the next afternoon, I was in pain. I hadn’t just been raped, I was taken to my own house and had been brutalised.
I couldn’t get up for my bed. I told some of my friends but everybody advised me to forget about it and move on. My company was closed but I got a job to write and direct a series for Plus Channel. The man found his way through the casting route and became one of the lead actors on the show.”
Soon thereafter, the Cine And TV Artistes’ Association sent a notice to Mr. Nath, demanding to know why he should not be debarred after the harassment allegations. On October 18, Ms. Nanda submitted an application for FIR against Mr. Nath. She is the third woman to approach the Mumbai police after the #MeToo movement broke out.
नागपूर – अल्पवयीन मुलीवर अत्याचार करणाऱ्या क्रूरकर्मा बापाला वाडी पोलिसांनी अटक केली आहे. धाकदपटशाहीसोबतच बेदम मारहाण करीत हा नराधम गेल्या दोन वर्षांपासून बापलेकीच्या पवित्र नात्याला काळिमा फासत होता. शेजाऱ्यांच्या दक्षतेमुळे ही घटना उघडकीस आली.
पीडित मुलगी 14 वर्षे वयोगटातील असून, दहाव्या वर्गाची विद्यार्थिनी आहे. 12 वर्षीय लहान भाऊ आणि बापासह ती वाडी हद्दीत वास्तव्यास आहे. आरोपी बाप गवंडी असून त्याला मद्यपानाची सवय आहे. त्याची तीन लग्ने झाली असल्याचे कुटुंबीय सांगतात. पीडित मुलीची आई अनेक वर्षांपूर्वीच घर सोडून गेली. तेव्हापासून आरोपी हा मुलांचा सांभाळ करतो. पीडिता बारा वर्षांची असताना 2016 मध्ये आरोपी दारूच्या नशेत घरी आला आणि पोटच्या मुलीवरच तुटून पडला. मुलीने विरोध केला असता तिला मारझोड केली.
भीतीपोटी तिने बापाचा अत्याचार सहन केला. या घटनेनंतर हा नराधम सातत्याने मुलीवर अत्याचार करीत राहिला. तिने विरोध करताच कंबरेचा चामडी पट्टा आणि हाथबुक्कीने बेदम मारहाण करायचा. जिवे मारण्याची धमकी द्यायचा. बदनामी आणि भीतीपोटी ती गप्प राहून अत्याचार सहन करीत होती. मैत्रिणींनासुद्धा तिने याबाबत सांगितले नाही. यामुळे बापाची विकृती वाढतच होती. गुरुवारी रात्री आरोपी दारूच्या नशेतच घरी आला. डोक्यात सैतान संचारल्याप्रमाणे त्याने पुन्हा मुलीला ओरबाडण्याचा प्रयत्न केला.
परंतु, या वेळी मुलीने त्याला नेहमीपेक्षा जास्त विरोध केला. यामुळे चिडून आरोपीने मुलीला बेदम मारहाण करण्यास सुरुवात केली. परिणामी तिची सहनशिलता संपली आणि ती मदतीसाठी ओरडू लागली. शेजाऱ्यांनी प्रसंगावधान राखत पोलिसांना सूचना दिली. पोलिसांनी घटनास्थळ गाठून मुलीला सोडविले. चौकशीत तिने आपबिती सांगितली. पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल करीत आरोपीला अटक केली. तपास सुरू आहे.
Nagpur : Having failed to give contract to a particular private agency, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) city transport department has cancelled the tender for giving advertisement rights on 387 Red buses. The decision has been taken even as NMC’s legal department has suggested to open bids received for the tender.
The controversy over the tender is causing financial loss to the cash-strapped civic body. The new city bus service Aapli Bus launched in December 2016 is facing a financial loss of over Rs100 crore per annum.
The civic body is delaying payment to the three operators, programme manager DIMTS and two ticketing agencies every month. Despite these problems, the city transport department has not given advertisement rights on buses for the last two years. The tender process was initiated six months ago and cancelled on December 31 last year.
The controversy started after bid of Om Advertisers, having advertisement rights of buses of the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) across the state, was not accepted though a day was remaining for the deadline. The agency filed a petition in the Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court levelling serious allegations against the NMC. The bid was accepted following HC directive.
Later, the department slowed down the process and planned to cancel the tender. But the NMC legal department suggested that the bids should be to opened.
An official from the department said tender has been cancelled following directives of city transport committee chairman Bunty Kukde. “Total five agencies participated in the tender .Four agencies have taken objection on accepting bid of fifth agency. Therefore, Kukde directed to cancel the tender,” the official said.
Nagpur: The city police, led by police commissioner BK Upadhyay, on Friday returned valuables worth Rs 84.51 lakh recovered by the cops to citizens at a programme at CP Office.
Police returned items of around 221 complaints, some of whom have been hoping to get their valuables back since 1999. Most of the items were taken away during thefts, chain snatchings or robberies.
In regular cases, if police have recovered any stolen valuables, the owner of the items will have to go through legal and administrative processes to get these back.
Addressing the gathering, Upadhyay claimed that even after this programme, the city police will be doing all the work to give the stolen items back to citizens.
“People buy these items through their hard-earned money. When we return their items, they feel very happy. Even I was a victim of theft twice during my early years in service. I know some items have sentimental value more than the cost,” the CP said.
Several citizens shared their experiences and thanked the police department for their pro-active approach.
Nagpur : Praising the contribution of Government Dental College and Hospital (GDCH) as far as oral cancer awareness is concerned, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “Now, upgradation of existing facility and upcoming super speciality hospital will change the face of dentistry in the region. This will double the existing capacity of this 50 year old College and Government will support GDCH to get it developed.”
Fadnavis was speaking during the unveiling of plaque of bhoomipujan of construction of dental super specialty hospital held at GDCH on Friday.

It was Fadnavis who had initiated the proposal of super speciality hospital during monsoon session this year. He said that upgradation of GDCH would help in treating oral cancer cases very efficiently. Expressing concern over rising cases of oral cancer, Fadanvis pointed out, “Nagpur has become the capital of oral cancer due to kharra and tobacco chewing. Fortunately GDCH has done lot of work in bringing awareness about this dreaded disease in masses. The team of GDCH regularly visits rural area and tell people about the ill-hazards of tobacco chewing. Considering this aspect, Oral Cancer Treatment Centre will be created at dental Super Speciality hospital.”
Fadnavis informed the audience that upgradation of GDCH would help increasing the Under Graduate intake from 50 to 100. Dr Sanjay Mukherjee gave introductory speech. Renuka Deshkar compered the programme and Dr Sindhu Ganvir proposed a vote of thanks.

भारत हा युवकांचा देश असून, सध्या भारतीय लोकसंख्येचे सरासरी वयोमान 27 वर्षे असून, त्यांना रोजगार दिल्यास हीच लोकसंख्या देशाच्या विकासाची गती वाढविण्यात महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावेल. भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था ही चीनपेक्षा जास्त वेगाने विकसित होत आहे. त्यामुळे रोजगार हवा असणारे आणि रोजगार देणा-यांमध्ये ‘येस’ने पूल बांधण्याचे काम केले आहे, असे सांगत मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी युथ एम्पॉवरमेंट समिटच्या माध्यमातून हजारो बेरोजगारांना रोजगार उपलब्ध करुन दिल्याबद्दल प्रा. अनिल सोले यांचे कौतुक केले. विदर्भात नैसर्गिक संसाधने विपुल प्रमाणात असून, येथे नवनवीन उद्योग उभारणीला आवश्यक तो कच्चा माल मोठ्या प्रमाणात असल्याचे रोजगार वाढीस अनुकूल वातावरण आहे.
उद्योगउभारणीसाठी आवश्यक असणारी वीजही ऊर्जामंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी स्वस्त वीज देण्यासाठी डिफरेन्शीएल टँरीफ देण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. त्यामुळे विदर्भात सर्वात कमी दराने वीज उपलब्ध करुन दिल्यामुळे उद्योग येत आहेत. त्यामुळे येथे रोजगाराची सर्वात मोठी संधी असल्याचे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी सांगितले. देशांमधील सर्व राज्यांमधून महाराष्ट्रात सर्वात मोठी रोजगाराची संधी असल्याचे इपीएफओच्या ऑनलाईन अकाउंट नोंदणीवरुन लक्षात आले आहे.
कारण देशभरात इपीएफओच्या अकांऊंटची संख्या 80 लाख असून, त्यातील 25 टक्के अकाऊंट हे एकट्या महाराष्ट्रातील तरुण उद्योजकांचे असल्याचे नुकत्याच जाहीर केलेल्या अहवालातून समोर आले असल्याचे मुख्यमंत्री श्री. फडणवीस यांनी सांगितले. गेल्या काही काळात राज्यातील तीन लाख तरुणांना कौशल्य विकासातून रोजगार मिळाला आहे. कौशल्य विकासाच्या माध्यमातून स्वयंरोजगाराच्या संधी मोठ्या प्रमाणावर असल्याचे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी सांगितले.
गेल्या पाच वर्षांमध्ये हजारो तरुणांना रोजगार मिळवून देण्याचे काम फॉर्च्यून फाऊंडेशनने केले आहे आणि आजही करत आहेत. बेरोजगारी देशातील प्रमुख समस्या असून, नोक-यां देण्यावर मर्यादा आहेत.
रोजगार कसे निर्माण होतील, यावर लक्ष देणे आवश्यक असल्याचे सांगत मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या विशेष लक्ष देण्यामुळे मिहानमध्ये रोजगाराच्या संधी निर्माण होत असल्याचे नितीन गडकरी यांनी सांगितले. सध्या विदर्भातील मिहानमध्ये 50 हजार रोजगार मिळवून देण्याचे लक्ष्य असून, त्यापैकी 27 हजार तरुणांना रोजगार दिला आहे. येत्या वर्षात 50 हजार युवकांना रोजगार मिळेल. पायाभूत सुविधांची वाढ करताना रस्त्याची कामे सुरु आहेत. त्यातून विकासाचा वेग प्रचंड वाढत आहे. त्यामुळे येथील युवकांना रोजगार उपलब्ध करुन देण्यात येत असला तरी त्यांनी रोजगार देणारे व्हा, असे आवाहन केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांनी युवकांना केले.
विदर्भात सर्व प्रकारची नैसर्गिक साधन संपत्ती मुबलक प्रमाणात उपलब्ध आहे. त्यामुळे उद्योगनिर्मिती आणि रोजगारही मिळणार आहे. मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या विशेष प्रयत्नामुळे येत्या काही दिवसांमध्ये नागपुरात आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ प्रकल्पाचे काम सुरु होत असून, संत्रानगरी तसेच टाइगर कँपिटल असल्यामुळे आंतरराष्ट्रीय पर्यटनासही चालना मिळणार असल्याचे नितीन गडकरी यांनी यावेळी सांगितले.
नवनवीन तंत्रज्ञानामुळेही रोजगार निर्मिती होणार असल्यामुळे बेरोजगारी कमी होण्यास मदत होईल, असा आशावाद श्री. गडकरी यांनी व्यक्त केला. केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांनी विदर्भात मेट्रो, ड्रा़यपोर्ट, सिंचनासाठी पाणी उपलब्ध, विमानतळ, आयआयआयटी, आयआयएम, लॉ युनिव्हरसीटी आहे. त्यामुळे विदर्भातील विकासाचा वेग प्रचंड वाढला असल्याचे सांगून गडकरी यांनी व्यावसायिकतेकडे लक्ष देऊन नवनवीन टेक्नॉलॉजी आणून उद्योग उभे राहावेत, अशी अपेक्षा व्यक्त केली. तसेच यावेळी लक्ष्मणराव आयटीआयला तंत्रज्ञान विद्यापीठ बनविण्यासाठी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी लक्ष घालण्यास सांगितले. आजापर्यंत साडेनऊ लाख कोटी प्रधानमंत्री मुद्रा योजनेतून वित्तपुरवठा करण्यात आला असल्याचे सांगितले. देशातील 22 लाख युवकांना वाहतूक क्षेत्रात रोजगार मिळाला.
मात्र, मध्यंतरी त्यांच्याकडे विनावाहक कारचा प्रस्ताव आला होता, असे सांगून गडकरी यांनी विनावाहक कार देशात आणून बेरोजगारी वाढेल, यामुळे त्यांनी तो प्रस्ताव नाकारल्याचे सांगितले. पूर्व विदर्भातील चंद्रपूर, गडचिरोली जिल्ह्यात वनोपजावर आधारित उद्योगांना चालना देऊन स्थानिकांना रोजगार मिळेल, याकडे वित्तमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांचे लक्ष वेधले. तसेच नुकत्याच राज्य मंत्रिमंडळाने नॅरो गेजचे ब्रॉडगेजमध्ये रुपांतर करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. या निर्णयामुळे मुंबई मेट्रो आणि लोकलच्या धर्तीवर ब्रम्हपुरी – उमरेड- पवनी – रामटेक – मौदा- वर्धा – भंडारापर्यंत मेट्रो तथा ब्रॉडगेज रेल्वेने वाहतूक होईल आणि या भागाचा प्रादेशिकस्तरावर विकास होईल, असे नितीन गडकरी यांनी सांगितले.
युथ एम्पॉवरमेंट समिट कार्यक्रमोच आयोजन नागपूर येथील स्व. वसंतराव देशपांडे सभागृहात आज फॉर्च्यून फाउंडेशन, जिल्हाधिकारी नागपूर, इसीपीए, नागपूर महानगरपालिका द्वारा करण्यात आले होते. उद्यमशील युवकांच्या महामेळाव्यात रोजगार व स्वयंरोजगाराच्या विविध संधी एकाच छताखाली उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आल्या आहेत. ही समिट तीन दिवस चालू राहणार आहे.
या युथ एम्पॉवरमेंट समिटमध्ये जवाहरलाल नेहरु पेार्ट ट्रस्ट, वेस्टर्न कोल लिमिटेड, मॉईल, नागपूर मेट्रो, कौशल्य विकास विभाग, मिहान, राष्ट्रसंत तुकडोजी महाराज विद्यापीठ नागपूर, उद्योग विभाग, सामाजिक न्याय विभाग, पर्यटन विभाग, नेहरु युवा केंद्र, नँशनल स्कील डेव्हलपमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन, मेढा, महा ऊर्जा, महागँस, दिनदयाल कौशल्य योजना, राष्ट्रीय नागरी उपजीविका, मनपा, प्रमोद महाजन कौशल्य विकास योजना, बार्टी, अण्णासाहेब पाटील आर्थिक विकास महामंडळ, गोयल गंगा इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रा. लि. आदिंचे स्टॉल्स वसंतराव देशपांडे सभागृह परिसरात लावण्यात आले आहेत.
यावेळी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या हस्ते प्रधानमंत्री मुद्रा योजनेच्या लाभार्थ्यांना धनादेशाचे वितरण करण्यात आले. तसेच रोजगार प्रशिक्षण पूर्ण केलेल्यांना प्रमाणपत्र, महिला बचत गटांनाही धनादेशाचे वितरण करण्यात आले. यावेळी मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते युथ एम्पॉवरमेंट समिट आणि वृक्षदिंडीच्या सीडींचे विमोचन करण्यात आले.
आ. प्रा. अनिल सोले यांनी आपल्या प्रास्ताविकात महाराष्ट्रासह मध्य प्रदेश आणि छत्तीसगड येथील 106 कंपन्या सहभागी झाल्या असून, त्यात नागपूरच्या 44 कंपन्याचा सहभाग असल्याचे सांगितले. या मेळाव्यातून एअर इंडियासह विविध एअरलाईन्स कंपन्यामध्ये 193 मुलांना रोजगार मिळाला असल्याचे सांगितले. येत्या तीन दिवसात 22 सेमिनार होणार असून, आतापर्यंत अडीच हजार युवकांना रोजगार मिळाल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले. वित्तमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांचेही समयोचित भाषण झाले. कार्यक्रमाचे संचालन श्रीमती रेणुका देशकर यांनी केले.
