नागपूर : मध्यंतरी अजनी स्थानकावर हलविण्यात आलेली नागपूर-मुंबई- नागपूर दुरंतो एक्स्प्रेस २० फेब्रुवारीपासून पुन्हा नागपूर स्थानकावरून धावणार असून, ही गाडी समाप्तही नागपूरलाच होईल.
१२२८९- १२२९० नागपूर-मुंबई-नागपूर दुरंतो ही गाडी मुळात सुरूच नागपूर स्थानकावरून झाली होती. त्यातही नागपूर स्थानकावरील वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण होम प्लॅटफॉर्मवरून ही गाडी सुटायची. सुरुवातीच्या काळात तर या प्लॅटफॉर्मवरून सुटणारी ही एकमेव गाडी होती. मध्यंतरी प्लॅटफॉर्म क्रमांक १ वर अॅप्रॉन दुरुस्तीचे काम सुरू झाल्याने नागपूर स्थानकावरील काही गाड्या अजनी, बल्लारशा, इतवारी येथे हलविण्यात आल्या होत्या. त्याचवेळी दुरंतो अजनी स्थानकावर हलविण्यात आली होती. अॅप्रॉनचे काम पूर्ण झाल्यावर या गाड्या पूर्ववत नागपूर स्थानकावर येतील, असे त्यावेळी सांगितले जात होते.
जवळपास महिनाभर हे काम सुरू होते. या काळात दुरंतो अजनीवरून सुटायची. नागपूरवरून मुंबईला जाण्यासाठी दुरंतो ही सर्वाधिक लोकप्रिय गाडी आहे. त्यामुळे या गाडीला नेहमीच गर्दी असते. रेल्वेने सुरुवातीला ही गाडी अजनीला नेल्यानंतर अनेक प्रवासी नागपूर स्थानकावर यायचे व येथे आल्यावर त्यांना गाडी अजनीवरून सुटणार असल्याचे कळायचे. त्यामुळे प्रवाशांची बरीच धावपळ होत होती. दरम्यान प्लॅटफॉर्म क्रमांक १ वरील अॅप्रॉनचे काम पूर्ण झाले आणि ज्या गाड्या नागपूरवरून अन्यत्र गेल्या होत्या, त्या नागपूर स्थानकावर परत आल्या तरी दुरंतो मात्र अजनीवरूनच सुटत होती.
त्यामुळेच ही गाडी नेहमीसाठी अजनीवरून सुटणार असल्याचे बोलले जात होते. नागपूर स्थानकावरील भार कमी करण्यासाठी काही गाड्या अन्यत्र हलविण्याची गरज आहे. त्याचा भाग म्हणून दुरंतो अजनीवरून चालविण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला होता. मात्र, सारे प्रायोगिक स्तरावरच सुरू होते. शहरातील प्रवाशी संघटनांनी दुरंतो अजनीवरून चालविण्याला विरोध केला होता. अलीकडेच भारतीय यात्री संघाने डीआरएमना यासंबंधीचे निवेदन देऊन ही गाडी नागपुरातूनच चाललावी, अशी मागणी केली होती.
नागपुरात ज्या प्लॅटफॉर्मवरून ही गाडी सुटते तो होम प्लॅटफॉर्म वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण आहे. आता २० फेब्रुवारीपासून म्हणजे गुरुवारपासूनच दुरंतो नागपुरातील प्लॅटफॉर्म क्रमांक ८ वरून आपल्या जुन्याच वेळेनुसार सुटणार असल्याचे मध्य रेल्वेच्या नागपूर विभागाने कळविले आहे.

नागपूर: तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी नागपूर महानगरपालिकेच्या आयुक्तपदाचा कार्यभार स्वीकारल्यापासून कामचुकार आणि नियम न पाळणाऱ्या कर्मचाऱ्यांची चांगलीच कोंडी झाली आहे. काही दिवसांपूर्वीच तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी बैठक सुरु असताना मोबाईल वाजल्यामुळे एका अधिकाऱ्याला झापले होते. यानंतर पुन्हा एकदा तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी कामावर जीन्स घालून आलेल्या कर्मचाऱ्याला फैलावर घेतले.

नागपूर, 19 फेब्रुवारी : ‘बाबा मी जगणार नाही’… असे म्हणत नऊ महिन्यांपूर्वी लग्न झालेल्या एका 26 वर्षीय तरुणीने गळफास घेऊन आत्महत्या केली. सासरच्यांकडून सुरू असलेला छळ असह्य झाल्याने तिने हे टोकाचं पाऊल उचलंल. ही धक्कादायक घटना नागपूरातील जयप्रकाश भागात घडली आहे.
‘तू चांगली दिसत नाहीस…तू कुरुप दिसते’ असं म्हणत पती, सासू व नणंद या तरुणीचा छळ करायचे. तिला मारहाण करायचे. अनेक महिने तिने हे सर्व सहन केलं. त्यानंतरच तर सासरच्यांकडून मुलाचं दुसरं लग्न लावून देण्यासंदर्भात चर्चा सुरू झाली. हे सर्व तरुणीला असह्य होत होतं. एकेदिवशी तिने हा त्रास एका क्षणात संपवला. ‘बाबा मी जगणार नाही, मला हा त्रास सहन होत नाही’; असं म्हणत या तरुणीने गळफास लावून आत्महत्या केली. या प्रकरणात मुलीच्या सासरच्यांवर गुन्हा नोंदविण्यात आला आहे. किशोर कुमरे (वय 35), त्याची आई लक्ष्मीबाई कुमरे, बहिण पूनम कुमरे व पुष्पा मसराम या सर्वांवर गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे. तर रोशनी किशोर कुमरे (26) असे मृत तरुणीचे नाव आहे.
आरोपी किशोर हा एका खासगी कंपनीत काम करतो. नऊ महिन्यांपूर्वी त्याचे लग्न रोशनीसोबत झाले होते. लग्नानंतर सासरचे रोशनीचा छळ करीत होते. लग्नानंतर काही महिन्यातच ती या त्रासाला कंटाळून माहेरी गेली. यानंतर नातेवाईकांनी मध्यस्थी करीत प्रकरण मिटवले. रोशनी सासरी परतल्यानंतरही तिला सासरच्या मंडळींकडून मारहाण सुरू होती. 10 फेब्रुवारी रोजी किशोरने रोशनीला मारहाण केली. त्यानंतर रोशनीने वडिलांना मोबाइलवर फोन केला. ‘बाबा मला खूप त्रास होत आहे. आता मला हा त्रास सहन होत नाही. मी जगणार नाही’, असं ती बाबांना सांगत होती. यावर बाबा तिची समजूत काढण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत होते. मात्र रोशनीने फोन कट केला आणि ओढणीने पंख्याला गळफास लावून आत्महत्या केली. पोलिसांना तपासादरम्यान सासरच्या त्रासाला कंटाळून आत्महत्या केल्याची बाब समोर आली आहे. देवराव नारायणराव कंगाले (वय 55) यांनी केलेल्या तक्रारीवरुन सोनेगाव पोलिसांनी आत्महत्येस प्रवृत्त केल्याचा गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे.
नागपूर – फडणवीस सरकारच्या कार्यकाळात राज्यात ५० कोटी वृक्षारोपणाचे महाअभियान राबवण्यात आले. मात्र, अभियानावर ठाकरे सरकारमधील काही मंत्र्यांनीच शंका उपस्थित केल्याने वृक्षारोपणाच्या चौकशीचे आदेश देण्यात आले आहेत. दरम्यान, महाआघाडी सरकारनेही राज्यात ५० कोटी वृक्ष लागवड करण्याचा संकल्प केला असून त्याला माजी मुख्यमंत्री वसंतराव नाईक यांचे नाव दिले जाणार आहे. राज्याचे वनमंत्री संजय राठोड यांनी सोमवारी ‘दिव्य मराठी’शी बोलताना ही माहिती दिली.
वन विभागाच्या प्रधान सचिवांना ५ वर्षांतील वृक्ष लागवडीची चौकशी करण्याच्या सूचना देण्यात आल्या आहेत. या संदर्भात मंत्री राठोड म्हणाले की, मंत्रिमंडळातील सहकाऱ्यांनी आपल्याला चौकशीची मागणी करणारी पत्रे दिली आहेत. त्यामुळे आपण हा निर्णय घेतला आहे. प्रधान सचिवांना चौकशीचे आदेश दिले असून याच आठवड्यात प्रधान सचिव नागपूरला येऊन यासाठी बैठकही घेणार आहेत. कोणी किती वृक्ष लावले? त्यापैकी किती वृक्ष जगले? याची चौकशी होणे आवश्यक आहे. त्यासाठी सॅटेलाइट इमेजेसच्या माध्यमातून नेमक्या वृक्षारोपणाची माहिती काढावी लागणार आहे. या चौकशीला किमान दोन महिन्यांचा कालावधी लागणार असून मार्चअखेर किंवा एप्रिलपर्यंत त्याचा अहवाल येईल, असेही वनमंत्री राठोड म्हणाले.
लिम्का बुकने घेतली होती दखल
माजी वनमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांच्या पुढाकाराने राज्यात ५० कोटी वृक्षलागवडीचे महाअभियान फडणवीस सरकारने राबवले होते. त्याची लिम्का बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रेकॉर्डने दखल घेतली होती. मात्र, पर्यावरणाच्या क्षेत्रात कार्य करणाऱ्या संस्था आणि कार्यकर्त्यांनी या वृक्षलागवडीवर सातत्याने प्रश्नचिन्ह निर्माण केले आहे. आता वनमंत्र्यांनी चौकशीचे आदेश दिले असल्याने नवा राजकीय वाद निर्माण होण्याची चिन्हे आहेत.
नाईक यांच्या जन्मदिनीच अभियानाला सुरुवात
महाविकास आघाडी सरकार राज्यात ‘वसंतराव नाईक हरित महाराष्ट्र योजने’ अंतर्गत ५० कोटी वृक्षारोपण करणार आहे. दरवर्षी १० कोटी वृक्षांचे रोपण केले जाईल. १ जुलै रोजी वसंतराव नाईक यांच्या जन्मदिनीच वृक्षारोपणाच्या अभियानाला सुरुवात होईल, असे वनमंत्री राठोड यांनी सांगितले.

नागपूरता. १७ : नागपुरातील विवेकानंद स्मारकावर ‘व्हॅलेन्टाईन डे’ च्या दिवशी तरुणाईला आश्चर्याचा धक्का बसला. आकर्षक स्वरूपातील ‘माय हार्ट माय नागपूर’ हा सेल्फी प्वाईंट बघून तरुणाईने एकच गर्दी केली. सोशल मीडियावर ट्रेंडिंग झाले. मात्र, यामागे असलेल्या सामाजिक हेतूला आणि अभिनव संकल्पनेला जाहीर करताच तरुणाईच्या नोंदणीसाठी उड्या पडल्या. आवाहनानंतर पहिल्याच दिवशी उपस्थित तरुणाईने ‘सच्चे दोस्त’ बनण्याचा संकल्प केला.

Nagpur, February 16, 2020: ICICI Lombard, one of the largest private general insurance companies in India, organized a rally today at Vinayakrao Deshmukh High School & Junior college, Lakadganj, under its Ride to Safety initiative. The company has conducted such drives in Mumbai and Delhi earlier. This rally aimed to raise awareness around road-safety measures, predominantly amongst two-wheeler riders along with the pillion riders.
The rally was attended by senior dignitaries from the traffic and transport department of Nagpur along with ICICI Lombard’s senior officials. Mr. Chinmay Pandit, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Nagpur along with Mr. Jerry Jose, Head-Human Resources, ICICI Lombard flagged off the event.
Among the different vehicle categories, two-wheelers account for the highest share in total accidents (35.2%), of road accidents in the country, as per the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in 2018. Non-wearing of helmets by two-wheeler riders caused 43,614 deaths and accounted for 28.8 percent of total road accident deaths in the country during 2018.As per the statistics shared by Nagpur City Traffic Police although the overall road accidents in Nagpur declined by 9.84% in 2019 there was still a 4.8% rise in overall fatalities.

नागपूर – नागपूर मौदा मार्गावर शनिवारी सकाळी रस्त्यावर उभ्या असलेल्या कंटेनरला भरधाव ट्रॅव्हल बसने धडक दिली. या अपघातात बसमधील चार प्रवाशांचा मृत्यू झाल्याची माहिती आहे. तर 12 जण जखमी झाले आहेत. जखमींवर नागपुरातील रुग्णालयात उपचार सुरू आहेत. मृतांमध्ये 2 महिला आणि दोन पुरुषांचा समावेश आहे. या बसमध्ये 30 प्रवासी होते. लग्नावरून परतत असताना हा अपघात झाला.
नागपूर पोलीस दलातील कर्मचारी अमित झीलपे यांच्या लग्नसमारंभावरून वऱ्हाड परत येत होते. दरम्यान वऱ्हाड घेऊन निघालेली बस नागपूर-मौदा मार्गावरील शिंगोरी गावाजवळ रस्त्यावर उभ्या असलेल्या कंटेनरवर धडकली. या अपघातात मधील 4 प्रवाशांचा मृत्यू झाला तर 5-6 जखमी झाले आहेत. जखमींवर नागपुरातील मेयो रुग्णालयात उपचार सुरू आहेत.

Nagpur – The first consignment of Nagpur oranges was flagged off to Dubai on 13th February 2020 from Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Total 1500 crates were loaded in the refrigerated container from Vanguard Health Care(VHT) facility. Nagpur mandarin in one of the best mandarins in the world. Production of this fruit crop in the central and western part of India is increasing every year. Mrig crop (monsoon blossom), which matures in February – March, has great potential for export since arrivals of mandarin fruit in the international market are less during this period. According to Maharashtra State Agriculture Department 40 lakh hectare. the land is under orange cultivation in Nagpur District and major orange growing pockets are Warud, Katol, Saoner, Kalameshwar and Narkhed in Nagpur and Amravati districts. In the whole region, only one variety of Nagpur Mandarin is grown.
For the implementation of the Agriculture Export Policy, (AEP) Nagpur District is being developed as a cluster for Nagpur Orange by APEDA. The APEDA officer in Mumbai has been nominated as a nodal officer for implementation of AEP and cluster development of Nagpur orange.
The first meeting was held on 30th October 2019 last year under the chairmanship of District Collector, Nagpur. After the meeting, a cluster development committee of stakeholders was constituted consisting of APEDA, National Research Centre for Citrus(NRC), Nagpur, Agri Department of Nagpur District, VANAMATI Nagpur, Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board (MSAMB), Dr.Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (Dr PDKV), Nagpur MSME, Plant Quarantine Nagpur and MAHA Orange.
Subsequently, a Buyer-Seller Meet cum Training programme on Nagpur Orange cluster was held on 5th December 2019 at VANAMATI, Nagpur. Around 150 farmers from Nagpur District, Farmer Producers companies and seven exporters attended the training programme. Technical sessions and interactions between farmers and exporters were conducted in the training programme. The main focus of the training programme was to increase the exports of Nagpur orange in the Middle East countries and to brand Nagpur orange in the Middle East. It was also explained to all exporters the importance of labelling each fruit and crates of Nagpur orange while exporting.
A field visit was organised on 6th December last year with APEDA, MCDC, State Agriculture Department and exporters to orange growing area at Warud, Katol, Kalameshwar of Nagpur and Amravati districts. After the field visit exporters showed interest for exporting of Nagpur orange. The interested exporters again visited the same orange growing pockets in the month of January this year.
One of the exporters procured oranges directly from the farmers of Warud Taluka and brought them to APEDA funded VHT Facility at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. At VHT pack house the oranges were graded and sorted. New plastic crates were designed and developed by the exporter to carry 10 kgs per crate.
The International Trade in 2018 for orange was USD 10183 million. India produced 8781 thousand tons of orange in 2018-19 (orange includes Mandarin, clementine).
नागपूर: विदर्भातील कोट्यवधी रुपयांच्या सिंचन घोटाळा प्रकरणात सीबीआय, सक्तवसुली संचलनालय, एसएफआयओ, आयकर विभागाचे मुख्य आयुक्त आणि केंद्र सरकारला प्रतिवादी करण्याची याचिकाकर्ते अतुल जगताप यांची मागणी मुंबई हायकोर्टाच्या नागपूर खंडपीठानं फेटाळून लावली. या यंत्रणांना प्रतिवादी करण्याची आवश्यकता नाही. गरज भासल्यास चौकशी अन्य यंत्रणांना देण्याबाबत आदेश देऊ, असं कोर्टानं स्पष्ट केलं.
विदर्भातील सिंचन घोटाळा प्रकरणाची चौकशी सध्या एसीबीमार्फत करण्यात येत आहे. या प्रकरणात सीबीआय, ईडी, एसएफआयओ आणि आयकर विभागाचे मुख्य आयुक्त आणि केंद्र सरकारला प्रतिवादी करण्यात यावे, अशी मागणी करणारा अर्ज याचिकाकर्ते अतुल जगताप यांनी नागपूर खंडपीठात दाखल केला होता. त्यावर आज सुनावणी घेण्यात आली. यावेळी कोर्टानं याचिकाकर्ते जगताप यांनी मागणी फेटाळली. सध्याच्या परिस्थितीमध्ये या यंत्रणांना प्रतिवादी करण्याची आवश्यकता नाही, असं सागून ही विनंती अमान्य केली. आता या याचिकेवर १३ मार्च रोजी अंतिम सुनावणी होणार आहे. दरम्यान, या प्रकरणी गरज भासली तर, चौकशी अन्य एजन्सीला देण्याबाबत आदेश देऊ, असं कोर्टानं स्पष्ट केलं आहे.
नागपूर 13 फेब्रुवारी : हिंगणघाटच्या घटनेवरून सर्व राज्यात संतप्त भावना असतानाच आता नागपूरजवळही धक्कादायक घटना घडलीय. नागपूर जिल्ह्यातील सावनेर पोलीस स्टेशन अंतर्गत पहलेपार परिसरात एका महिलेवर एका पुरुषाने एसिड सदृश द्रव्य फेकले. संबंधित महिला सरकारी रुग्णालयाची कर्मचारी असून ती त्या परिसरात एड्स संबंधित सर्व्हे करायला गेली होती.
त्यावेळी अचानक सुमारे 25 वर्षीय तरुणाने समोर येऊन महिलेवर अॅसिडसारखा पदार्थ टाकला.
द्रव पदार्थ त्या महिलेच्या हातावर पडला आणि ती जखमी झाली. घटनेच्या वेळी बाजूला खेळणाऱ्या दोन मुलींवरही त्या द्रवाचे काही शिंतोडे गेल्याने त्यांना ही त्रास झाला. त्या किरकोळ जखमी आहेत. त्या सगळ्यांना रुग्णालयात दाखल करण्यात आलंय.
तर त्याच वेळी बाजूला उभ्या असलेल्या एका महिलेच्या गळ्यावर त्या द्रवाचे शिंतोडे गेल्याने तिला गळ्यावर भाजले आहे. अॅसिडसारखा पदार्थ फेकणाऱ्या तरुणाचं नाव निलेश कान्हेरे आहे अशी माहितीही पुढे आलीय.

मुंबई, 13 फेब्रुवारी : अभिनेता इरफान खानची प्रमुख भूमिका असलेला अंग्रेजी मीडियम (Angrezi Medium Trailer) हा सिनेमा मागच्या काही काळापासून वेगवेगळ्या कारणानं चर्चेत आहे. या सिनेमाचा बहुचर्चित ट्रेलर नुकताच रिलीज झाला आहे. ज्यात हिंदी मीडियममध्ये शिकलेला इरफान खाननं आपल्या मुलीच्या परदेशातील शिक्षण घेण्याच्या स्वप्नासाठी झटणाऱ्या बापाची भूमिका साकारली आहे.
ट्रेलरच्या सुरुवातीला इरफान खान त्याच्या मुलीच्या शाळेत भाषण देताना दिसत आहे. त्यानंतर त्याची मुलगी त्याला परदेशात शिक्षण घेण्याची इच्छा बोलून दाखवते. मात्र समस्या असते ती या शिक्षणासाठी लागणारा पैसा कुठून आणायचा. पण इरफान आपल्या मुलीला आश्वासन देतो की, वेळ पडल्यास रक्त विकून तुझ्या फीचा पैसा उभा करेन. पण 3 कोटीची रक्कम जमवणं सोपी गोष्ट नसते… त्यात अनेक समस्या येतात. हा ट्रेलर तुम्हाला हसवतो, विचार करायला लावतो. काही प्रसंगी डोळ्यात पाणीही आणतो आणि पुन्हा हसवण्यात यशस्वी ठरतो.
अंग्रेजी मीडियम या सिनेमाचा ट्रेलर रिलीज होण्याआधी इरफान खाननं एक भावूक व्हिडीओ युट्यूबवर शेअर केला. या व्हिडीओमध्ये त्यानं प्रकृतीच्या कारणानं या सिनेमाच्या प्रमोशनला उपस्थित राहता येणार नसल्याची खंत व्यक्त केली.

वर्धा 13 फेब्रुवारी : हिंगणघाटमधल्या जळीत प्रकरणाने सर्व राज्य हादरून गेलं होतं. मृत्यूशी झुंझ देणाऱ्या त्या पीडितेची लढाई सात दिवसानंतर संपली होती. नागपुरच्या ऑरेंजसिटी हॉस्पिटलमध्ये तिच्यावर उपचार सुरु होते. मात्र डॉक्टरांनी प्रयत्नांची शर्थ करूनही ती वाचू शकली नाही. या प्रकरणातला आरोपी विकेश नगराळे हा सध्या तुरुंगात आहे. त्याला या घटनेची माहिती जेव्हा पोलिसांनी दिली तेव्हा त्याचा चेहेरा निर्विकार होता अशी माहिती समोर आलीय. त्यानंतर पोलिसांजवळ तो बोलताना त्याने प्रतिक्रिया दिली की, माझ्यामुळे सगळ्यांनाच त्रास होत असेल तर मला गोळ्या घालून मारून टाका असं तो म्हणाल्याची माहिती समोर आलीय.
विकेशनेच हिंगणघाटमधल्या एका चौकात पीडित प्राध्यापिकेच्या अंगावर पेट्रोल टाकून जाळलं होतं. त्यात ती 40 टक्के जळाली होती. या प्रकरणावर सर्व देशभरातून संतप्त प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त होत आहेत. या प्रकरणाचा खटला हा फास्ट ट्रॅक कोर्टात चालविण्याची घोषणा राज्य सरकारने केली होती. प्रसिद्ध वकिल उज्ज्वल निकम हे सरकारतर्फे पीडितेची बाजू मांडणार असून आरोपीला कठोर शिक्षा होईल यासाठी प्रयत्न करणार असल्याचं त्यांनी सांगितलंय.
आरोपीला सकाळी 6 वाजताच केलं कोर्टात हजर
हिंगणघाट जळीत प्रकरणातला आरोपी आरोपी विकेश ऊर्फ विक्की नगराळेची न्यायालयीन कोठडीत रवानगी करण्यात आली होती. त्याच्या विरुद्ध नागरीक आक्रमक असल्याने त्याला पहाटे 6 वाजताच न्यायालयात हजर करण्यात आलं होतं. सकाळी पहाटेदरम्यान न्यायाधीश रत्नमाला डफरे यांच्या न्यायालयात त्याला हजर करण्यात आलं. सुरक्षेच्या दृष्टीने पोलिसांनी गुप्तता पाळत हजर केलं.
एमसीआर देत आरोपीची जेलमध्ये रवानगी झाल्याची माहिती आहे. पोलीस याबाबत गमालीची गुप्तता पाळत आहेत. पीडितेवर नागपूरच्या ऑरेंजसिटी हॉस्पिटलमध्ये उपचार सुरू होते . तज्ज्ञ डॉक्टरांची टीम प्रयत्नांची शर्थ करत असली तरी पीडितेची प्रकृती सातही चिंताजनकच होती. एका तरुणाने प्राध्यापक असलेल्या पीडितेला पेट्रोल टाकून जिवंत जाळण्याचा प्रयत्न केला होता. त्यात ती 40 टक्के भाजली होती. त्यानंतर तातडीने तिला नागपूरला हलविण्यात आलं होतं. पेट्रोलच्या धुरामुळे तिच्या श्वसन नलिकेत धुर गेला आणि ती भाजली गेली.
नागपूर : तलवारीने केक कापून वाढदिवस साजरा करीत त्याचा व्हिडीओ फेसबुक व व्हॉट्सअॅपवर अपलोड करणे युवकाला चांगलेच महागात पडले. फेसबुकच्या आधारे पोलिसांनी युवकाचा शोध घेत त्याला अटक केली. त्याच्याकडून दोन तलवारी जप्त केल्या. सिद्धांत दिवाकर चौधरी (वय २४, रा. भिलगाव, यशोधरानगर) असे अटकेतील युवकाचे नाव आहे.
सिद्धांतचा दूधविक्रीचा व्यवसाय आहे. ३० डिसेंबरला त्याचा वाढदिवस होता. त्यादिवशी त्याने तलवारीने केक कापला. याचा व्हिडीओ त्याने फेसबुकवर अपलोड केला व व्हॉट्सअॅप स्टेटसही ठेवले. याबाबत पोलिस उपायुक्त नीलोत्पल यांना माहिती मिळाली. नीलोत्पल यांनी विशेष पथकाला शोध घेऊन युवकाला अटक करण्याचे निर्देश दिले. विशेष पथकाचे सहाय्यक पोलिस निरीक्षक प्रशांत डी. अन्नछत्रे, विनोद सोनटक्के, रवींद्र राऊत, मृदुल नगरे यांनी युवकाचा शोध सुरू केला. तलवारीने केक कापणारा युवक सिद्धांत असल्याचे स्पष्ट झाले. पोलिसांनी त्याच्या भिलगाव येथील घरी छापा टाकला. घराची झडती घेतली. गोठ्यात लपविण्यात आलेल्या दोन तलवारी पोलिसांनी जप्त केल्या. सिद्धांतला अटक केली. त्याला यशोधरानगर पोलिसांच्या स्वाधीन केले.
नागपूर- तब्बल पंधरवड्यानंतर मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी बुधवारी महापौर संदीप जोशी यांची अनौपचारिक भेट घेतली. या भेटीकडे अनेकांचे लक्ष लागून होते. शिष्टाचारानुसार, आयुक्तांनी महापौरांची भेट घ्यावी, असे असताना मनपातील या दोन प्रमुखांची भेट झाली नव्हती. बुधवारी हा योग आला. सुमारे १५ ते २० मिनिटांच्या या भेटीत शहरातील विविध समस्या व प्रकल्पांवर उभयंतांमध्ये चर्चा झाली. आता गुरुवार, १३ फेब्रुवारीला होणाऱ्या विशेष सभेकडे सर्वांचे लक्ष आहे.
मुंढे हे २८ जानेवारीला मनपात रूजू झाल्यानंतर त्यांची महापौरांशी भेट झाली नव्हती. त्यामुळे अनेक तर्कवितर्क काढले जात होते. पदग्रहणानंतर आयुक्तांनी मेट्रो रेल्वेच्या अॅक्वालाइनच्या लोकार्पण सोहळयात महापौरांशी केवळ हस्तांदोलन केले होते. त्यानंतर महापौर मुंबईत असताना आयुक्त नागपुरात होते. महापौर नागपुरात परतल्यानंतर आयुक्त बैठकीसाठी मुंबईत होते. मधल्या काळात आयुक्त व महापौर दोघेही नागपुरात असताना ही भेट होत नव्हती. त्यामुळे उलटसुलट बातम्या चर्चेत होत्या. आयुक्तांनी महापौरांची भेट घ्यावी, असे नगरसेवकांकडून सांगण्यात येत होते. तर, महापौर हे आयुक्तांशी मोबाइलवर चर्चा झाल्याचे सांगत होते. परंतु, दरम्यानच्या काळात आयुक्त मुंढे यांनी कामाचा सपाटा लावला होता. स्वत:चा ‘जनता दरबार’ही सुरू केला होता. या दरबाराला नागपूरकरांनी मोठी गर्दी केली होती. याच काळात महापौरांचाही ‘जनता दरबार’ सुरू होता. त्यामुळे पुन्हा वेगवेगळया चर्चा सुरू झाल्या. अखेर बुधवारला या दोघांच्याही भेटीनंतर वेगवेगळया चर्चा व तर्कवितर्कांना विराम मिळाला.
गुरुवारी मनपाची विशेष सभा आहे. या सभेत आयुक्त मुंढे हजर असतील. गेल्यावेळी मनपा व नासुप्र यांच्यात नियोजन प्राधिकरणाच्या अधिकारावरून आयोजित विशेष सभा आयुक्तांच्या अनुपस्थितीमुळे स्थगित करण्यात आली होती. या सभेत नासुप्रबद्दलच्या मनपा सभागृहाच्या भावना आयुक्तांमार्फत राज्य सरकारपर्यंत पोहोचविण्यात याव्या, अशी सभागृहाची भूमिका आहे.
नागपूर : सेंट्रल एव्हेन्यूवर भरधाव वेगाने दोन दुचाकीस्वारांची समोरासमोर एकमेकांना जोरदार धडक बसल्याने झालेल्या अपघातात दोन तरुणांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. मंगळवारी दुपारी भावसार चौकात झालेल्या या अपघाताचे चित्रण सीसीटीव्ही चित्रण झाले. हा अपघात एतका भिषण होती की, एका दुचाकी स्वाराचे डोके मेट्रोच्या खांबावर आपटले आणि तो यात गंभीर जखमी झाला.
अभिजीत जंगम (२१ ) आणि मोहम्मद जुबैर मोहम्मद साबिर (२० ) अशी मृत तरुणाचं नाव आहेत. अभिजीत जंगम आणि त्याचे दोन अन्य मित्र जुबैर आणि शिवम यांच्यासोबत ट्रिपल सिट पल्सरने भरधाव वेगाने सेंट्रल एव्हेन्यूवरून जात होते. गांधीपुतळ्यापासून ते अग्रेसेन चौकाच्या दिशेने जात असताना भावसार चौकत चितार ओळीतून एक दुचाकीस्वार आला, तोही वेगाने होता. या दुचाकी स्वारांचे चौकात एकमेकांना धडक लागली.
या अपघातत अभिजीत आणि जुबैरचं डोके मेट्रो पिलरला जावून आदळले. यात दोघांचा मृत्यू झाला. तर शिवम आणि दुसरा बाईकस्वार गंभीर जखमी झाला. हा अपघात सीसीटीव्हीच चित्रित झाला आहे. हे दोन्ही बाईकस्वार भरधाव वेगाने जात होते, हे सीसीटीव्हीत दिसत आहे. हा संपूर्ण परिसर वर्दळीचा असतो. तरीही हे दोन्ही बाईकस्वार वेगाने बाईक चालवत होते.

Stated to be Sunny Deol’s third directorial venture, the movie narrates a love story that strives to understand the emotion and essence of a first-time romance, with all its innocence, doubts and complexities. Bringing to life this story are the captivating debutants i.e. Deol Scion – Karan Deol along with the charming Sahher Bamba in the lead. Along with a quintessential love story, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas has a holistic music album comprising fun and heart-warming tracks. The title track ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ that is a rendition of Dharmendra Ji’s old song successfully struck a chord with the audience with its soul-stirring lyrics. Making the soundtrack more interesting is the debutante Karan Deol’s rap in the song ‘Aadha Bhi Zyaada’. Also, giving an ode to the carefree life are the peppy songs ‘Ho Jaa Awara’ & ‘Ishaq Chaliya’ that get you hooked at the very first go.
Commenting on the title of his debut film and its importance, Karan Deol said, “I am a die-hard romantic and starting my acting career with a romantic film is ideal. Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas was one of my grandfather’s iconic songs and the film is a tribute to the evergreen song. Hence it is not only special but is also something I am very proud to be associated with. He had told me once, that acting is technically reacting and reciprocating to actions and I should not complicate it.
I intend on keeping these pearls of wisdom in mind going forward as well. While the movie is a love story, it also has an active aspect to it, which is unveiled as the film progresses. To sum it up, the film is about external factors that influence the love of the couple and try to stop the romance from blossoming. Commenting on his grandson’s debut film, the proud grandfather Dharmendra Ji says, “It was an emotional moment for me when I got to know my grandson decided to join the industry and continue our family legacy. I remember telling him to be a good observer as life is a beautiful struggle. It is also very important for an actor to be like a sponge, absorbing and learning new things because this is a very unpredictable industry. When the film was about to release, I had the same jitters as if it was my own film releasing but at the same time, I was also excited. And, Karan did make all of us proud. Actor turned director Sunny Deol commented, “Although this film wasn’t my first stint as a director, it gave me a feeling like no other film has. I was launching my son and directing his debut film, so there was nervousness but more than that my excitement had no bounds. Set against picturesque mountains of Himachal Pradesh, the movie revolves around the life of Karan Sehgal (Karan Deol), a mountaineer who runs a trekking camp, Ujhi Dhaar. On the other hand, Saher Sethi (Sahher Bamba), is a hard-to-please video blogger who enrolls with Karan’s company for a trek with the intention of exposing the overpriced trek. Over the course of one week, the two who are poles apart sail through adverse conditions during the trek, share emotional outbursts and form a connection. While both are attracted to each other, they don’t realize it until they bid each other goodbye post the trek. However, their contrasting backgrounds come to the forefront which influences their love story.

नागपूर- आम आदमी पक्षाने दिल्लीत भाजपचा दणदणीत पराभव केल्याने स्थानिक कार्यकर्त्यांमध्ये उत्साह संचारला आहे. तब्बल पाच वर्षांनी जल्लोष करण्याची संधी कार्यकर्त्यांना मिळाली. या विजयामुळे विश्वास उंचावलेल्या नेत्यांनी नागपूर महापालिकेवर आपचा झेंडा फडकवण्याचा निर्धार केला आहे.
‘आप’ ला लोकसभा व विधानसभा निवडणुकीत महाराष्ट्रात चमक दाखवता आली नाही. मात्र दिल्लीतील विजयाने महापालिका निवडणुकीसाठी कार्यकर्ते सज्ज झाल्याचे निकालानंतर केलेल्या ‘रोड शो’ वरून दिसून आले. ‘आप’ ला घवघवीत यश मिळाल्याचा निकाल जाहीर होताच सिव्हिल लाइन्समधील पक्ष कार्यालयात मिठाई वाटून जल्लोष करण्यात आला. त्यानंतर मिरवणूक काढण्यात आली. व्हरायटी चौक, महालपर्यंत ही मिरवणूक काढून दिल्लीतील विजयाकडे जनतेचे लक्ष वेधण्याचा प्रयत्न करण्यात आला. ‘आप’ चे संयोजक देवेंद्र वानखडे, जगजितसिंह आदींनी मिरवणुकीचे नेतृत्व केले.
अरविंद केजरीवाल यांनी पहिल्यांदा मुख्यमंत्रिपदाची सुत्रे स्वीकारल्यानंतर देशाची राजधानी दिल्लीला विकासाचे मॉडेल म्हणून समोर आणले. शाळांचा दर्जा सुधारण्याचे वचन ‘आप’ ने पूर्ण केले. महिला सुरक्षेवर भर दिला. सीसीटीव्ही लावले, ग्राहकांना भुर्दंड बसणार नाही, यासाठी मोफत वीज दिली. अन्य राज्यांनीही दिल्लीचे अनुकरण सुरू केले. तेथेही मोफत वीज देण्याचा विचार करण्यात येत आहे. राजधानीत बदल होऊ शकतो तर राज्याची उपराजधानी असलेल्या नागपुरात का नाही. नागपुरातही ‘आप’ हे शक्य करू शकते.
महापालिकेत सत्ता असलेल्या भाजपने शहराचे वाटोळे केले आहे. शहरातील ४५० अधिक शाळांपैकी निम्म्याहून अधिक बंद पडल्या आहेत. महापालिकेच्या दीडशे रुग्णालयात सोयींचा अभाव आहे. डॉक्टर्स नाहीत. शहर बस सेवा खासगी कंपनीला दिली. त्यातून उत्पन्न येण्याऐवजी महापालिकेला फटका बसतो. पाणी पुरवठ्याचे खासगीकरणाचा शहरवासियांना लाभ नाही. उन्हाळ्यात भीषण टंचाईला सामोरे जावे लागले. जातीय तेढ निर्माण करून राजकारण करण्याचे काम भाजप करत आहे. महापालिकेत सत्ता आणून शहराचा चेहरामोहरा बदलवणार, असा विश्वास ‘आप’ चे संयोजक वानखडे यांनी व्यक्त केला.
देशातील बड्या नेत्यांना जनतेने यापूर्वी खाली खेचले आहे. त्यामुळे भाजपची सत्ता जाईल आणि ‘आप’ ची सत्ता येईल. विकास हेच आमचे ध्येय असून महापालिका निवडणुकीसाठी आमची तयारी सुरू झाली आहे, असेही वानखडे म्हणाले. ‘आप’ ने सुरुवातीपासून वेगळ्या विदर्भाला पाठिंबा दिला आहे. छोट्या राज्याने विकास शक्य असल्याचे सिद्ध झाले आहे. वेगळे राज्य झाल्यास विदर्भाचे चित्र बदलेले. त्यामुळे वेगळ्या राज्यासाठी आमची भूमिका आक्रमक राहील, असेही वानखडे यांनी सांगितले. येत्या काळात संघटन बळकट करण्यासाठी अबंरीश सावरकर, अशोक मिश्रा, कविता सिंघल, गीता कुहीकर, शंकर इंगोले, भूषण ढाकुलकर, अॅड. राजेश भोयर, पीयूष आकरे, कृतल वेलेकर, अजय धरमे, प्रशांत निलाटकर यांच्यासह पक्षाचे अन्य नेते व कार्यकर्ते तयारी लागले आहेत.
