But that has been pushed ahead one more time, as Tiger has decided to do another film under Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner. NGE had been planning to make Heropanti a franchise for the last one year and they have finally found the perfect script that seamlessly fits into the mold of the actioner. NFN’s Giftmilk programme launched for 4,000 students of government schools in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra

Gadchiroli, 28 February 2020: Shri Meenesh Shah, Executive Director, National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), and Shri Deepak Singla, IAS, District Collector, Gadchiroli, launched NDDB Foundation for Nutrition’s (NFN) unique and novel ‘Gift Milk’, NFN’s Giftmilk programme for about 4,000 students of around 26 government schools in Gadchiroli district on February 28, 2020 at Z P High School, Kurud.

NBCC India Ltd. and NBCC Services Ltd. will be funding the Giftmilk programme under their CSR allocation. The Bhandara Milk Union will provide 200 ml fortified flavoured pasteurised toned milk to each child per day on all school working days. The programme was also attended by the Chief Executive Officer and Education Officer, Zilla Parishad Gadchiroli, school teachers, parents and local community.

NFN was set up by NDDB during its Golden Jubilee Year 2015-16. Its noble mission is to provide a glass of milk to every child to address malnutrition among government school children.

NFN mobilises donations from various institutions under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to supply milk to the school children through the network of dairy cooperatives. NFN has been distributing Giftmilk for around 12,000 children studying in Government schools in Nagpur district under the CSR assistance of Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Private Limited.

The Giftmilk programme has received positive responses from schools across the country. So far, NFN has provided 85 lakh units of milk to about 51,000 students in 126 government schools in seven states namely, Delhi, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh.

In line with NDDB’s commitment towards working for the betterment of Vidarbha and Marathwada region, NFN’s Giftmilk programme aims to nurture the health and happiness of the children of the region for a better future and contribute to the country’s efforts to eradicate malnutrition.

The iPhone maker in August expressed its interest in kicking off its branded retail stores in the country by saying “eager to serve” customers through online and retail stores.

Cook, 59, during the annual shareholder meeting, offered the reasoning behind going with its own outlet – “I don’t want somebody else to run the brand for us.”

Apple products have long been sold by third-party Apple authorized distributors and retailers, who also seemingly handle most of the marketing right now.

“We wouldn’t be a very good partner in retail,” Cook added. “We like to do things our way.”

Apple CEO did not offer specifics on when exactly we can see the Apple stores in the country.

If we go by a previous report, Apple would start selling its devices through its online store sometime in the third quarter of this year. The company was originally speculated to start its online retail business in the country in the first quarter.

In addition to its online store, Apple is rumored to have plans to open its first physical Indian store in Mumbai. Some reports also indicated the launch of a similar store in New Delhi at a later stage.

New Delhi: Olympic champion Abhinav Bindra says Indian shooters have the “potential” to win multiple medals, including gold, at the upcoming Tokyo Games.

The 37-year-old Abhinav Bindra remains India’s only individual gold medallist at Olympics but heading into the next Games, he is extremely hopeful of welcoming new entrants into what has so far been a “lonely club”.

“Going into the Olympic Games we have he the potential to win multiple gold medals, a realistic shot at winning medals at the Olympics,” Bindra told PTI.

The number of Olympic quotas in shooting currently stands at a record 15 after a highly successful 2019 that saw Indians top all the Rifle-Pistol World Cups and the season-ending World Cup Finals.

This was after they drew a blank at the 2016 Rio Olympics, following which radical changes were recommended by a committee, headed by Bindra himself.

Taking into account the Indian shooters’ incredible performance in recent years, Bindra is optimistic of returning from Tokyo with a rich haul.

“There are chances of coming back with a good haul. I have my fingers crossed,” he said.

Indian shooting’s best show at the Olympics remains the two medals won at London in 2012, but if the exploits in recent months are anything to go by, the country can easily emulate or better than in Tokyo.

Bindra is also very impressed by the young shooters’ ability to compete at the highest level with such remarkable consistency. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Bindra made history by winning a gold medal in the 10m air rifle event and ended India’s excruciating wait for an individual gold medal at the Summer Games.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach recently thanked Bindra and Niccolo Campriani for their project ‘Taking Refugee’, under which they are helping refugee athletes to qualify for the Tokyo Games.

New Delhi: The Congress government in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday announced a three-month exemption from the State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) to the upcoming Taapsee Pannu-starrer film Thappad. The film, directed by Anubhav Sinha, deals with the issue of domestic violence and is set to release on Friday.

A top official of the Commercial Tax Department said the film was exempted from SGST in view of its subject and message. Single-screen cinemas and multiplexes have been asked not to collect SGST on tickets of the film, the official said.

At present, film tickets carry 18 percent GST – SGST and Central Goods and Services Tax at nine percent each. In the film, Pannu plays an upper-middle-class educated woman who is forced to continue in her marital relationship even after her husband slaps her. Taapsee Pannu delivers a spectacular performance as a submissive and vulnerable wife whose life could have been poles apart if she chose a different path

Pannu was among members of the film fraternity who had condemned police crackdown on students of Jamia Milia while accusing the government of trying to stifle the voices of dissent against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

Recently, Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak was declared tax-free in Madhya Pradesh even as BJP supporters called for a boycott of the film over the actor’s support for the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University who were attacked by masked goons.

New Delhi: Tiger Shroff has shared the song teaser featuring his rumored girlfriend Disha Patani, who has performed a special dance number in his upcoming film, Baaghi 3. Titled Do You Love Me?, the song teaser shows Disha grooving to intoxicating beats in a two-piece black costume.

Tiger had earlier shared a glimpse of Disha’s look from the song and wrote, “#Doyouloveme hai sawaal? Suno gaana ye kamaal. Mach jayega dhamaal. Jab tu naache mere naal.” The song will be out on Thursday.

Disha had starred in Baaghi 2 and has returned for a dance number in the sequel. Baaghi 3 stars Tiger and Shraddha in lead roles while Riteish Deshmukh plays Tiger’s brother and Jackie Shroff as their father in the film. Shraddha had earlier featured alongside Tiger in the original.

The makers had released the wedding song Bhankas last week. It is a recreated version of the song Ek Aankh Maru from 1984 film Tohfa that featured Sridevi and Jeetendra in lead roles. It shows Tiger and Shraddha dancing at Riteish and Ankita Lokhande’s wedding in the film.

The trailer of the film was liked by the audience as Tiger is seen running through explosions, skidding under war tanks, getting scratched and bruised, all in sub-zero temperatures of Serbia. There was also a scene where Tiger is seen running shirtless with multiple explosions behind him.

Talking about how Baaghi 3 was a difficult film for him, Tiger said in a social media post, “I don’t think I’ve ever been as scared doing action as I have been during Baaghi 3. every day I used to wake up anxious for the challenges the day ahead had to offer and every night I used to be carried to my room by my amazing team.”

Baaghi 3 is the third installment of the action-thriller franchise Baaghi. Helmed by Ahmed Khan, and produced by Fox Star Studios India, the film is set to hit the theatres on March 6.
