Nagpur : Hundreds of curious Nagpurians gathered at the railway track near Mominpura on Saturday to witness the shoot of Nagraj Manjule’s debut Hindi directorial Jhund, which is based on the life of Nagpur man and slum soccer founder Dr Vijay Barse.
Amidst tight security, the shoot went on for several hours in the narrow lanes of the area. The film that stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role has been generating a lot of buzz ever since the news of it being shot in the city broke.
Quite naturally, when the shoot has finally kicked off, the people of Nagpur went berserk. A few of them admitted that they reached the spot hoping to get a glimpse of BigB.
“We thought we’ll get to see Mr Bachchan but guess we’ll have to wait for some more time,” aid one of the onlookers. While a few left disappointed as they couldn’t manage to reach the actual shoot location due to tight tight security arrangements.
BigB is likely to arrive in the city next week to shoot for the major chunk of the film.
