As we know after the first and second wave of Covid-19 pandemic, it is anticipating that the third wave will arrive soon. In this situation, the Zilla Parishad(ZP) is insisting that women between the ages of 18 and 44 should be vaccinated as soon as possible in the rural areas to prevent the third wave. But considering the availability of vaccines, vaccination in this age group has not started in the district yet.
In order to prevent the situation get much worse, the ZP has demanded vaccination from the Central government. The second wave of coronavirus infection in rural areas had a major impact. A third wave is now being predicted to affect young children. It is expected to cost around Rs.10 crore to enable the health system in rural areas. Two ambulances will be provided in each tehsil to cope with the third wave. And for vaccination in tribal areas Ramtek and Parseoni of the district, the Zilla Parishad will conduct counselling and public awareness through the officers, teachers and staff.
