Sitabuldi cops detain 4 juveniles, recover 10 stolen motorcycles

Nagpur : Four juveniles involved in more than 14 offences were held by Sitabuldi police and 10 motorcycles and seven mobile phones collectively worth Rs 5.61 lakh were recovered from their possession. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone II informed that a teenager was held by the police on Thursday when he was trying to committ a robbery. During questioning, the boy revealed names of the others involved in various crimes reported in recent months.

The juveniles were sent to reformation home by the police. The juveniles have committed nine offences registered at Sitabuldi, two at Kalamna, one each at Nandanvan, Mankapur and Ganeshpeth Police Station area. The police have also busted a gang of robbers for looting passersby in Sitabuldi area. The accused have been identified as Akshay Bansod, Akash Ganveer and Nikhil Tembhurne.

According to DCP Pandit, the juveniles were also the part of this gang of robbers. The action was made by Police Inspector Jagvendrasingh Rajput, PSI S B Kale, A P Raut and staff including Ajay Kale, Omprakash Bhartiya, Vishal Ankalwar, Pritam Yadav, Sandip Bhokre, Pankaj Nikam and others.
