13-year-old Esha Singh displayed an outstanding show at the 62nd National Shooting Championships as she eclipsed over established names like Manu Bhaker and Heena Sidhu to clinch 3 gold medals on Thursday.
Esha went on to win in the Women’s, Youth Women’s and Junior Women’s 10m Air Pistol competitions. On her way, she left behind the likes of Heena, Manu and Shweta Singh to produce an all-round performance.
Esha registered a score of 241.0 in the Women’s final to leave behind Youth Olympic games champion Manu who concluded with 238.9. Shweta, who was representing ONGC at the event, finished third on the podium with a score of 217.2.
Manu Bhaker was India’s flag bearer at the 2018 Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games, where she became India’s first women to win a gold. Earlier this year, she had also won the two gold medals at the ISSF World Cup to become the youngest Indian to ever achieve the feat.
Nagpur : With an aim to promote wine drinking culture in the city, ‘Nagpur Agro Development Association’ would be organizing sixth edition of its annual ‘Nagpur Wine and Food Festival’ at Chitnavis Centre on December 1 and 2. Interacting with media on Thursday, chief coordinator Sharad Phadnis said this time five wineries — Sula from Nashik which controls over 70% of the industry in India, along with Gover Zampa Rhythm Winery, Good Drop Wine Cellars and Fruzzante Wines would be participating in the event. A visitor would be provided with an entrance kit for Rs400 donation coupon, consisting of wine tasting coupons, tasting glass, brochures related to wine education and other information about our club,” said Phadnis, who was accompanied by other coordinators Deepak Khanuja and Sudhir Kunte.
Khanuja informed that every year, they were getting an overwhelming response from the wine lovers, who thronged the venue in large numbers. “Last year, over 2,500 visitors, belonging to all the age groups, visited the festival and this year we’re expecting over 3,000.”
Kunte said the main attraction would be ‘grape stomping’ on both the days, which would exclusively be for women. The organizers have brought a huge wooden vat from Nashik where women can carry on stomping while dancing to the tunes of music and even win the prizes.
Khanuja pointed out that though the city boasted of big names in the hotel industry, culture of drinking wine was lagging. “Even today, wine is still served in glass. There is another misconception that old wine is better to taste, but it’s completely wrong. Any wine should be consumed within three days of opening the cork, otherwise it turns into vinegar. Always prefer fresh wine and check the dates before consuming it,” he said. Kunte added most of the wineries are located in Nashik and adjoining areas as weather there suits them, but Buldhana in Vidarbha has one winery names Ambrosia.

लोकसभा निवडणुकीसाठी जिल्ह्यात बॅलेट युनिट आणि कंट्रोल युनिटसह प्रथमच व्हीव्हीपॅट (व्होटर व्हेरिफिएबल पेपर ऑडिट ट्रेल) चा वापर करण्यात येणार आहे. व्हीव्हीपॅट हे प्रिंटरप्रमाणे काम करणार असून मतदानाच्यावेळी मतदान कक्षामध्ये बॅलेट युनिटसोबत व्हीव्हीपॅट जोडलेले राहील.
मतदार मतदान करताना व्हीव्हीपॅटच्या स्क्रीनमध्ये ७ सेकंदापर्यंत एक पेपरस्लीप डिस्प्ले होईल. त्यानंतर पेपरस्लीप व्हीव्हीपॅटच्या ड्रॉपबॉक्समध्ये जमा होईल. मतदारांना ही स्लीप सोबत नेता येणार नाही. या स्लीपमध्ये उमेदवाराचा बॅलेट युनिटवरील अनुक्रमांक, नाव व निवडणूक चिन्ह मुद्रित झाले असेल. अशाप्रकारे व्हीव्हीपॅटमुळे ज्या उमेदवाराला मत दिले आहे, त्याच उमेदवाराला मत पडले आहे, याची खात्री मतदार करू शकतो.

स्वामिनाथन आयोगाच्या शिफारशी लागू करा, वनहक्क कायद्याची अंमलबजावणी करा, शेतकऱ्यांना कर्जमुक्त करा यांसह विविध मागण्यांसाठी देशभरातून दिल्लीत धडकलेल्या शेतकऱ्यांनी आज रामलीला मैदान ते संसद असा विराट मोर्चा काढला. सकाळी दहाच्या सुमारास निघालेला हा मोर्चा पावणेबाराच्या सुमारास संसद मार्गावर पोहोचला. तिथं या मोर्चाचं सभेत रूपांतर झालं. यावेळी देशभरातून आलेल्या शेतकरी नेत्यांनी सभेला संबोधित केलं.

जम्मू : जम्मू विद्यापीठातील प्राध्यापकानं क्रांतिकारक भगत सिंग यांना दहशतवादी संबोधल्यानं विद्यापीठात तणाव निर्माण झाला आहे. प्राध्यापकावर विद्यापीठ प्रशासनानं कारवाई करावी, अशी मागणी विद्यार्थ्यांनी केली आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांचा आक्रमक पवित्रा बघता, विद्यापीठानं प्राध्यापकाला निलंबित केलं आहे.
राज्यशास्त्राचे प्राध्यापक तजुद्दिन यांचा एक व्हिडिओ व्हायरल झाला आहे. त्यात ते भगत सिंग यांना दहशतवादी संबोधताना दिसत आहेत. त्यांच्या भाषणाचा काही भागच व्हायरल झाला आहे. विद्यापीठातील विद्यार्थ्यांनी हा व्हिडिओ पाहिल्यानंतर त्यांनी शुक्रवारी प्राध्यापकाविरोधात निदर्शने केली. काही विद्यार्थ्यांनी याबाबत विद्यापीठाच्या कुलगुरुंकडे तक्रार केली. प्राध्यापकावर कारवाई करण्यात यावी, अशी आक्रमक मागणी त्यांनी केली. भगत सिंग यांनी भारताच्या स्वातंत्र्यलढ्यात मोलाचं योगदान दिलं आहे. मात्र, तजुद्दिन त्यांना दहशतवादी संबोधून द्वेष पसरवण्याचे काम करत आहेत, असा आरोप विद्यार्थ्यांनी केला आहे. या वादानंतर तजुद्दिन यांनी स्पष्टीकरण दिलं आहे. ‘त्यावेळच्या परिस्थितीनुसार भगत सिंग यांचे जीवन आणि त्यावेळच्या शासकांच्या हवाल्यानं मी हा संदर्भ दिला होता. भारतीयांसाठी भगत सिंग हे क्रांतिकारी होते, पण त्यावेळच्या शासकांसाठी ते दहशतवादी होते असं मी म्हणालो होतो. पण कुणाच्या भावना दुखावल्या असतील तर मी माफी मागतो,’ असं तजुद्दिन म्हणाले.
तजुद्दिन यांनी दिलगिरी व्यक्त केली असली तरी विद्यार्थ्यांना विरोध मावळला नाही. त्यांनी तजुद्दिन यांना हटवण्याची मागणी लावून धरली आहे. दरम्यान, कुलगुरुंनी या प्रकरणाच्या तपासासाठी चौकशी समिती स्थापन केली असून, अहवाल मिळेपर्यंत तजुद्दिन यांना निलंबित केले आहे.
A fire broke out on the sets of Shah Rukh Khan starrer move Zero in Film City, Mumbai on Thursday, reported quoting police. Around four fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to put out the fire.
Shah Rukh Khan was on the set when the incident took place in the evening, the report said. The actor was unhurt and rushed out of the spot, the police told. The fire was confined to electric wiring, electric installation, lights, shooting materials, ropes and curtains, Vinay Rathod, Deputy Commissioner of Police told.
The smoke was seen rising out of Film City in Goregaon. No one was hurt in the fire. The cause of the fire is yet not clear, he added. Shah Rukh, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer Zero is all set to hit the screens on December 21.
However, before the film’s release, it has already run into trouble with some Sikh groups raising objection to a scene where Shah Rukh can allegedly be seen wearing a Kirpan, a Sikh holy symbol. The petitioner, Amritpal Singh Khalsa, sought removal of scenes where SRK has been shown wearing a ‘Kirpan’ – a part of Sikh faith – stating that the “display of the Kirpan in such a way is blasphemous.”

नागपूर : नागपूरमध्ये अंगावर काटा आणणारी घटना घडली असून दिराने वहिनी व चार वर्षांच्या पुतणीची हत्या केली. हत्येनंतर त्याने वहिनीच्या मृतदेहावर बलात्कार केला असून या प्रकरणी पोलिसांनी विकृत आरोपीला अटक केली आहे.
इंदोरात राहणारा चंद्रशेखर बिंड (२६ वर्ष) हा औषधांच्या दुकानात कामाला आहे. तर त्याच्या नात्यातील भाऊ हा ट्रकचालक आहे. तो पत्नी, चार वर्षांची मुलगी आणि वडिलांसह नागपूरमध्येच राहत होता. दोन दिवसांपूर्वी चंद्रशेखरचा भाऊ ट्रक घेऊन सातारा येथे गेला. तर त्याचे वडील गावी गेले होते. याचा फायदा घेत चंद्रशेखर बुधवारी दुपारी भावाच्या घरी गेला. भावाची पत्नी आणि चार वर्षांची मुलगी घरी एकटीच होती. घरी गेल्यानंतर वहिनीने चंद्रशेखरला पाण्यासाठी विचारले. याचदरम्यान त्याने वहिनीची गळा आवळून हत्या केली. हा प्रकार चार वर्षांच्या मुलीनेही पाहिला होता. म्हणून त्याने चिमुरडीचीही हत्या केली. यानंतर त्याने वहिनीच्या मृतदेहावर बलात्कार केला आणि तिथून पळ काढला.
संध्याकाळ झाली तरी घरातून आवाज येत नसल्याने स्थानिकांना संशय आला. त्यांनी घटनेची माहिती पोलिसांना दिली. पोलिसांनी घटनास्थळी धाव घेत दरवाजा उगडला असता हा प्रकार उघड झाला. पोलिसांनी सुरुवातीला आकस्मिक मृत्यूची नोंद केली होती. मात्र, शवविच्छेदनात गळा आवळून हत्या केल्याचे स्पष्ट झाले. तसेच मृतदेहावर बलात्कार झाल्याचेही उघड झाले. यानंतर पोलिसांनी हत्येचा गुन्हा दाखल करत तपासाला सुरुवात केली. दिर चंद्रशेखरवर संशय आल्याने पोलिसांनी त्याची कसून चौकशी केली. चौकशीत त्याने गुन्ह्याची कबुली दिली आहे.

नागपूर : झाशी राणी चौकातील विदर्भ मराठी साहित्य संकुलातील ट्रिग फोर्स गार्ड कंपनीला कर्मचाऱ्यांनीच ८५ लाख ७३ हजार रुपयांनी गंडा घालण्यात आल्याचे प्रकरण उघडकीस आले आहे. विनोद दत्तू कान्होलकर (वय ३४,रा. जयताळा)यांनी दिलेल्या तक्रारीवरून सीताबर्डी पोलिसांनी चार कर्मचाऱ्यांविरुद्ध फसवणुकीचा गुन्हा दाखल केला आहे. गौतम सनकाळे (वय ३८,रा. जयताळा), योगेश चवलढाल (वय ४२,रा. अंबाझरी ले-आऊट), गजानन अंजनवाड (वय ३४,रा. नांदेड) व रविकुमार गंजीराला (वय ३४), अशी गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आलेल्या कर्मचाऱ्यांची नावे आहेत. ३० मे २०१५ ते २५ जून २०१८ या कालावधीत चार कर्मचाऱ्यांनी या रकमेची अफरातफर केली.
चौघांनी एलव्हीटीपी, इन्फ्रा आयरन व परमानंद ट्रेडर्स कंपनीमध्ये १३५५ सुरक्षा रक्षक तैनात करण्यात आल्याचे बनावट दस्तऐवज तयार केले. प्रत्यक्षात मात्र या कंपन्यांमध्ये सुरक्षा रक्षक तैनात करण्यात आले नव्हते. तीन वर्षांपर्यंत चौघांनी बनावट दस्तऐवजाच्या आधारे या सुरक्षा रक्षकांचे वेतन काढले. हे वेतन बँकेत काढण्यात आलेल्या बोगस नावाच्या खात्यात जमा केले. त्यानंतर चौघांनी ही रक्कम स्वत:च्या खात्यात वळती केली. तीन वर्षांत चौघांनी ८५ लाख ७३ हजार रुपये स्वत:च्या खात्यात वळते केले. राहणीमान बदलल्याने चौघांवर कंपनीच्या अधिकाऱ्यांना संशय आला. त्यांनी कंपनीत तैनात सुरक्षा रक्षकांबाबत माहिती काढली. या कंपन्यांमध्ये सुरक्षा रक्षक तैनात नसल्याचे स्पष्ट झाले. त्यानंतर सीताबर्डी पोलिस स्टेशनमध्ये तक्रार देण्यात आली. सीताबर्डी पोलिसचे स्टेशनचे वरिष्ठ पोलिस निरीक्षक हेमंतकुमार खराबे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली उपनिरीक्षक चव्हाण यांनी चौघांविरुद्ध फसवणुकीसह विविध कलमान्वये गुन्हा दाखल करून तपास सुरू केला आहे.
In a big blow to the Indian team, dashing opener Prithvi Shaw has been ruled out of the first Test match against Australia, as per the update by the BCCI on his injury.
India is scheduled to play their first game at Adelaide, starting December 6, and Shaw’s absence will be a massive dent to the Indian team plans ahead of the big game!
The statement released by the BCCI read, “Shaw underwent scans this morning and the reports revealed a lateral ligament injury.”

Nagpur: Social Service Branch busted a sex-racket run in an independent house in Nandanvan police station area. Police has arrested the pimp, Shanta Gedam alias Sushila (50),a resident of Sarode Nagar. Acting on a tip-off, police sent a punter inside the house and later conducted the raid on getting the confirmation call. Nandanvan police has registered a case under PITA act.
Nagpur : Work on two reaches of Nagpur Metro — Sitabuldi to Mihan (reach 1) and Sitabuldi to Lokmanya Nagar, Hingna Road (reach 3) — is progressing as per schedule and will be complete by March 2019.
According to MahaMetro officials, the entire project will be ready by December 2019. Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari had set a target of completing the Nagpur Metro by December 2018. While Metro officials did not counter him publicly, they submitted December 2019 as the date of completion to union ministry of housing and urban affairs (MoHUA).
Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis had told the Metro would roll out by November 2017. However, the at grade section of the Metro got Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) certification in April 2018.
A source in MahaMetro said that there were five components of the Metro work — Viaduct, stations, electrical, information technology (IT) and telecommunications and signalling.
“Work on viaduct of reach 3 is about 95% complete while stations are 40% complete. Of these, Lokmanya Nagar, Subhash Nagar and Institution of Engineers are 75% complete,” he said.
“The viaduct of reach 1 is around 95% complete while stations are 60% complete. The construction of National Highways Authority of India’s (NHAI) double decker flyover is, however, less than 95% complete,” said the source.
MahaMetro may complete all works by March 2019 but it will not be able to start commercial operations until it gets certification from Research Development and Standards Organization (RDSO) and CMRS.

गुरूवारी (ता. २९) नागसेन विद्यालय कामठी रोड येथे स्वच्छता अभियानांसदर्भात जनजागृती करणारी चित्रकला व निबंध स्पर्धा आयोजित करण्यात आली होती.
स्पर्धेमध्ये एकूण ३५० विद्यार्थ्यांनी सहभाग घेतला. निबंध स्पर्धेमध्ये रा.बा.गो.गो. शाळेतील शाहिना फकरुद्दीन अंसारी या विद्यार्थिनीने प्रथम क्रमांक पटकाविला. तर याच शाळेतील रोशनी खरवार या विद्यार्थिनीने चित्रकला स्पर्धेमध्ये द्वितीय क्रमांकावर बाजी मारली. याशिवाय चित्रकला स्पर्धेतील इयत्ता पाचवी ते सातवीच्या गटामध्ये बोरगाव हिंदी उच्च शाळेतील रोशन अंसारी या विद्यार्थ्याने चित्रकला स्पर्धेत तृतीय व याच शाळेतील शांती मुकेश शाहु या विद्यार्थिनीने निबंध स्पर्धेमध्ये तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त केले.

INDIA: CRRC Dalian has rolled out the first of 23 three-car train sets it is building for the Nagpur Metro. Formed of stainless steel bodied cars with a 16 tonne axle load, the trains have a design speed of 80 km/h and can carry a crush load of 974 passengers.
The train sets are being delivered under a Rs 8·51bn contract awarded by project promoter Maharashtra Metro Rail Corp in October 2016 and signed in March 2017. This covers the supply of the fleet, commissioning, staff training and 10 years of maintenance.
MAHA-Metro is a 50:50 joint venture of the national and Maharashtra state governments. Construction of the two-line first phase of the Nagpur metro was officially launched when Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid a foundation stone on August 21 2014.
The 19·7 km north–south line will connect Automotive Square with Mihan City on a mostly elevated alignment with an underground section at the southern end and 15 stations.
At Jhansi Rani Square there will be an interchange with the 18·6 km east–west route connecting Prajapati Nagar with Bansi Nagar with 19 stations.
All but two of the stations will be elevated. The network will be electrified at 25 kV AC, and Siemens is supplying CBTC signalling.
Initial test running on a 3·5 km at-grade section of Line 1 began in October 2017, using two Hyundai Rotem trainsets which Maharashtra Metro Rail Corp had leased from Hyderabad ahead of the delivery of its own fleet.

गोवर-रूबेला लसीकरण मोहीम महाराष्ट्रात २७ नोव्हेंबरपासून सुरू करण्यात आली आहे. ९ महिन्यांचे बाळ ते १५ वर्षापर्यंतच्या मुला-मुलींना ही लस देण्यात येत आहे. बालकांमध्ये लहान वयातच प्रतिकार शक्ती वाढावी यासाठी ही मोहीम राबविण्यात येत आहे.

नागपूर : दोन दिवसांपूर्वी खेकडे पकडण्यासाठी गेलेल्या मामा भाच्याचे मृतदेह रात्री उशिरा नाल्याच्या शेजारी आढळून आल्याची घटना हिंगणा तालुक्यात समोर आली आहे. उमेश दयाराम मरस्कोल्हे (वय ३४) व सागर विनोद आत्राम (वय १४) दोघेही रा.खडकी अशी मृतांची नावे आहेत. उमेश हा सागरचा मामा होता.
उमेश दयाराम मरस्कोल्हे हे आपला भाचा सागरसह दोन दिवसांपूर्वी रात्री उशिरा खेकडे पकडण्यासाठी हिंगणा तालुक्यातील किन्ही शिवारातील नाल्यावर गेले होते. दुसऱ्या दिवशी दुपारपर्यंतही ते घरी परतले नाही. त्यामुळे उमेशच्या आईवडिलांनी हिंगणा पोलिसात तक्रार दाखल केली. दोन दिवसांपासून मृतकांच्या नातेवाईकांनी आणि मित्रांनी संपूर्ण हिंगणा परिसर पिंजून काढला. त्याचवेळी हिंगणा पोलीसही उमेश आणि सागरला शोधण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करत होते.
दरम्यान, किन्ही शिवारातील शेतकऱ्यांना खडकी परिसरातील शेतनाल्याच्या बाजूला उमेश आणि सागर या दोघांचेही मृतदेह आढळून आले. त्यांनी तत्काळ हिंगणा पोलिसांना माहिती दिली. पोलिसांनी दोन्ही मृतदेह ताब्यात घेऊन उत्तरीय तपासणीकरीता पाठवले आहेत. आज शवविच्छेदन झाल्यानंतरच मृत्यूचे नेमके कारण समोर येईल. दोन्ही मृतदेह शेजारीच पडून होते. परंतु, त्यांचा मृत्यू नेमका कशामुळे झाला, हे प्रथमदर्शनी कळू शकले नाही. त्यामुळे दोघांचा मृत्यू हा अपघाती आहे की घातपात याचा तपास हिंगणा पोलीस करीत आहेत.
New Delhi: Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh will soon make a splash on silver screen with his Marathi entertainer ‘Mauli’. The film’s teaser had been unveiled on November 8 this year which had left fans excited and curious about the trailer.
On Thursday, the actor took to Twitter and shared the trailer of the film.Well, that was surely some jaw-dropping action and a ‘paisa vasool’ performance fit in a 2 minute, 50-second long trailer!
Deshmukh’s last Marathi outing ‘Lai Bhaari’ was a blockbuster and now he is back with yet another biggie. Riteish can be seen kicking some butt in this actioner.
‘Mauli’ is produced by Riteish and his wife Genelia Deshmukh’s production house, Mumbai Film Company. The movie has been written by Kshitij Patwardhan. It has been helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, who collaborated with Riteish on his last production venture – “Faster Fene”.
The film will hit the screens on December 14, 2018, avoiding a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’. In fact, SRK even thanked Riteish for his big gesture of shifting the release date of his movie a week ahead.
The music is composed by the famous jodi of Ajay-Atul and ‘Mirziya’ actress Saiyami Kher plays the female lead.
NAGPUR : A woman and her four-year-old daughter were found dead under mysterious circumstances at Waddhamna Takia on Wednesday. The two were likely to have been murdered with pillows but the fact is yet to be confirmed.
Bodies of Pratibha Bind (28) and Ragini (4) were found on the bed. The cops were alerted by a neighbour, Anita Panpaliya. The deceased had urinated and defecated on the bed, which is a prima facie sign of forceful asphyxiation, said police.
Pratibha’s husband Rakesh, a driver, is currently away. There was an internal feud among the family members. Wadi police have registered a case of accidental death.
Nagpur: In another horrible crime against women, a man attacked his girlfriend in Chimur taluka, Nagpur, and stabbed her 16 times with a knife. The crime was done after the girl’s family had opposed their marriage, enraging the jilted lover.
After attacking her, the youth tried to kill himself by consuming poison. Both the victim and the accused were seriously injured and are being treated in a hospital in Nagpur. The accused, 22-year-old Chetan Suresh Gajbha, is a resident of Nandara in Chimur taluka. He had been in a love affair with the victim for the last four years.
Chetan went to the girl’s parents with a marriage proposal but they refused. Angered by this, he decided to kill his girlfriend. When the victim came from her college on the next day, he stopped her and stabbed her 16 times with a knife.
The victim’s friend rushed back to the village and informed locals about the gruesome incident. Meanwhile, Chetan tried to kill himself by consuming poison. Both of them were immediately rushed to the sub-district hospital for treatment.
The girl’s condition was critical and hence, she was shifted to another hospital in Nagpur. The accused’s condition also worsened and he has also been shifted to Nagpur for treatment.
नागपूर : तिकीट विक्री घोटाळ्यानंतर आता ‘आपली बस‘ च्या चालक आणि वाहकांनी मिळून तिकीटाची अफरातफर केल्याची गंभीर बाब समोर आली आहे. नागपूर महानगर पालिकेच्या परिवहन विभागाच्या समितीने तपासणी केल्याने हा घोटाळा उघडकीस आला. आपली बसच्या चालक आणि वाहकांनी व्हाट्सअॅपचा ग्रुप तयार करुन तपासणी अधिकारी यांच्या ग्रुपवर लोकेशन शेअर केले होते. त्यानुसार प्रवाशांना तिकीट दिले जायचे.
तिकीट विक्रीचे इटीएम मशीन व कॅश कार्ड घोटाळा मार्चमध्ये उघडकीस आला. त्यानंतर एप्रिल २०१८ पासून आपली बसमध्ये वाहन चालकांना मोबाईल वापरण्यावर बंदी होती. मात्र, त्यानंतरही मोबाईलचा उपयोग चालक व वाहक सर्रास करत होते. तेव्हा कारवाई करत चालक आणि वाहकांकडून १२ मोबाईल जप्त करण्यात आले. तेव्हा त्या मोबाईलच्या व्हाट्सप ग्रुपची तपासणी करण्यात आली. तेव्हा परिवहन पदाधिकारी आणि अधिकाऱ्यांच्या लोकेशनची शेअर केले असल्याचे दिसले. परिवहन समितीने संबंधित प्रकरणाची पोलिसांच्या सायबर सेलकडे तक्रार केली आहे.
महानगर पालिकेचा परिवहन विभाग तोट्यात आहे. परिणामी उत्पन्न वाढविण्यासाठी अधिकारी आणि पदाधिकारी प्रयत्न करत आहेत, असे असताना बसमधील प्रवाशांकडून पैसे घेऊन तिकीट न देण्याचे प्रकरण उजेडात आले आहेत. वाहकांना निलंबित केल्यानंतरही स्थिती सुधारली नाही. तोट्यातील मनपा परिवहन विभागाचे उत्पन्न वाढविण्यासाठी अधिकारी आणि पदाधिकारी प्रयत्न करत आहेत.
New Delhi : Supreme Court has allowed medical aspiring candidates above the age of 25 years to appear in the NEET UG 2019 exam. However, the apex court has also specified that their candidature will be subject to the final outcome of the case on validity of CBSE’s decision to fix upper age limit. The official NEET UG 2019 notification was released on November 1. The notification specified the upper age limit for students as 25 years as on the date of the examination which means any student above the age of 25 on May 5, 2019 is not eligible for the NEET UG exam this year.
However, with the current SC directive such students can now apply for the exam with the condition that their eligibility status will be subject to the final ruling in the case.
From 2019 onward several entrance exams have been handed over to National Testing Agency (NTA) which was constituted for the sole purpose of conducting entrance and competitive exams and relieve other bodies such as CBSE of these duties.
NTA began the application process for NEET UG 2019 exam on November 1, 2018. Supreme Court has also asked NTA to extend the deadline for application process to allow such students to apply for the exam. Earlier the last date to apply for the exam was November 30, 2018, which is tomorrow.
The upper age limit for NEET UG has been a point of contention for students earlier also. Supreme Court had, in 2017, scrapped upper age limit for those aspiring to appear in the NEET, but dismissed an age relaxation petition in 2018. Meanwhile the candidature of Open School students is also subject to the outcome of the Special Leave Petitions/Appeals filed by the Medical Council of India.
Mumbai : The Maharashtra govt on Thursday proposed 16% reservation for the Maratha community under ‘Socially and Educationally Backward‘ category.
“We have completed the due procedure for Maratha reservation report and we’re bringing a bill today. However, we are yet to complete the report for Dhangar reservation. A sub-committee is appointed and soon a report and Action Taken Report (ATR) will be tabled in this house,” Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said in the state assembly.
Welcoming the government’s move, Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs arrived at the state assembly wearing festive headgears and claimed credit for the reservation. Arjun Khotkar, the minister of state for animal husbandry and dairy development, said that it was a moment of celebration for everyone.
A two-page action taken report (ATR) on the State Backward Class Commission’s (SBCC) recommendations on Maratha quota will also be tabled along with the Bill, a government source said.
Asus’ Republic of Gamers branded gaming smartphone (Asus ROG Phone) has been launched in India. The phone is priced at Rs 69,999 , and will be made available on Flipkart starting November 29.
Announced at this year’s Computex trade show in Taiwan, the ROG Phone is an Android-powered smartphone with high-end specs and a slew of compatible accessories that promise to offer the top-notch experience for mobile gamers.
Basically, the ROG Phone is aimed at hardcore mobile gamers who want powerful specifications and console-like features on a smartphone. The device features a 6-inch AMOLED Full HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 1ms response time, and also supports HDR.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor that is overclocked at 2.96GHz, along with the world’s first 3D vapor-chamber cooling system and an AeroActive Cooling Case that comes bundled with the ROG Phone.
There’s even a second USB Type-C port and headphone jack on the side the AeroActive, allowing you to easily charge it while using it in landscape mode.
The handset also features a set of ‘Air Trigger’ ultrasonic sensors that Asus say allow the shoulders of the device to act as extra buttons. Interestingly, these are programmable, meaning you’ll be able to use it with any game that supports remapping the controls.
It sports 8GB RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage. On the back, it sports a 12MP f/1.7 primary sensor with a 120-degree wide-angle lens and an 8MP secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture. There’s an 8MP front-facing snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
The device comes with a rather generous 4,000 mAh battery. Barring its high-end specifications, the ROG Phone has dual front-facing stereo speakers, along with support for Aura RGB lighting (which can be customized). The smartphone runs on ROG UI, based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
What’s interesting though, is the set of compatible accessories that will be supported by the ROG Phone. There’s a TwinView Dock that basically enables dual-screen gaming and packs in a quad-speaker sound system, two physical trigger buttons, enhanced cooling mechanism and a 6,000 mAh extended battery.
Then there’s a Mobile Desktop Dock that allows you to hook the ROG Phone up to a 4K display, mouse, and keyboard. And not to forget, there’s the Gamevice controller with WiGig Dock that features dual analog joysticks, dual triggers/bumpers, a D-pad that you would expect with a gaming controller.
