India registers more than 3.8 lakh daily cases, becomes fastest country to exceed 16 crore vaccinations

In just 109 days India becomes the fastest country to exceed 16 Crore cumulative vaccinations as the Nationwide Vaccination Drive expands. A total of 3,38,439 won the battle against the deadly coronavirus and are recovered in the last 24 hours. Taking to the cumulative tally of Cured/Discharged/Migrated to 1,69,51,731.

Meanwhile India continues to register more than 3.5 lakh daily cases in the second wave of COVID-19 increasing the woe of healthcare systems with 3,82,315 new cases in the last 24 hours. The tally of Active Caseload reached 34,87,229 today; comprises 16.87% of the total Positive Cases.

A net incline of 40,096 cases recorded from the total active caseload the last 24 hours.

3,780 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. The Death tally of Country reached 2,26,188 due to the man-manipulated virus.

Meanwhile 7 States/UTs Meghalaya, D&D & D&N, Tripura, Lakshadweep, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and A&N Islands report No death in the last 24 hours.

Acting swiftly on vaccinating the country more than 6.7 Lakh (6,71,285) beneficiaries of age group 18-44 Vaccinated under Phase-3 of Vaccination Drive.

India becomes the fastest country to exceed 16 Crore cumulative vaccinations as the Nationwide Vaccination Drive expands. India took only 109 days to achieve this milestone as India’s Cumulative Vaccination Coverage stands at 16,04,94,188. More than 14 lakh (14,84,989) vaccination doses administered in the last 24 hours.
