The Union health ministry reported that India’s COVID-19 total rise to 4,33,193,396 on Tuesday. There were 9,923 new cases and an increase of 79,313.
Figures updated at 8:15 a.m. show that the death toll has risen from 5,24,890 to 5,24,890 with 17 more deaths. Active cases account for 0.18% of all infections. The ministry reported that the national COVID-19 recovery rate stood at 98.61%.
The active COVID-19 caseload saw a rise of 2,613 cases in 24 hours. It said that 4,27,15.193 people have now recovered from the disease, while the rate of death was 1.21 percent.
According to the ministry, the nation has received 196.32 million COVID-19 vaccination doses so far under the nationwide immunization drive.
