The Maharashtra Election Commission has initiated the process of updating the voter list for the upcoming Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad) elections. This drive includes the Graduate constituencies of Pune, Aurangabad, and Nagpur, and the Teacher constituency of Amravati.
If you hold a graduate degree and wish to participate in these elections, you can now complete your voter registration conveniently online.
Deadline for Registration
The last date to apply is November 6, 2025. Eligible graduates are encouraged to complete their registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Online Registration Process
Follow these simple steps to register as a Graduate voter:

Visit the official Election Commission of Maharashtra portal: https://mahaelection.gov.in/Citizen/Login

Select “Graduate Voter Registration”.

Enter your mobile number and verify using the OTP.

Confirm your inclusion in the existing Lok Sabha or Assembly electoral roll.

Choose your district and assembly constituency.

Enter your Part Number and Serial Number from your existing voter ID (available on the national voter search portal).

Select your Graduate Constituency, then fill in your personal details — full name, date of birth, and address.

Provide educational details such as university name, degree branch, and year of passing.

A passport-size photo (JPEG, under 100 KB)

Your degree certificate (PDF, under 200 KB)

A valid address proof, such as Aadhaar, passport, electricity/water/gas bill, rent agreement, or property document.

Review your application carefully and submit it. You will receive an application ID for tracking.
Offline Registration Option
For those who prefer the traditional method:

Use Form 18 for Graduate constituencies.

Use Form 19 for Teacher constituencies.
Submit the completed form along with all required documents at your nearest Tehsildar or electoral registration office.
