If you are looking for a day out from the rising heat and monotonous daily routine in Nagpur city, Zilpi Lake is an excellent idea. Located near Mohagaon village. Information about Zilpi Dam Irrigation Project.
Official Designation of Zilpi Dam Irrigation Project is ” Zilpi Dam, D – 04419 “. However the local and popular name is ” Zilpi Lake / Zilpi Talav “. Zilpi Dam was constructed as part of irrigation projects by the Government of Maharashtra in the year 1974 It is built on Local nallah . The nearest city to the dam is Hingna in Nagpur District of Maharashtra. The dam is an Earth fill Dam . The Length of the dam is 409 m ( 11341.86 ft ), while the height of the dam above the lowest foundation is 18.85 m ( 62.1719 feet )

Sonegaon lake is a neat & clean place in lush green surroundings. Two beautiful small temples of Lord Ganesh and Hanuman are situated on the bank of this lake. Residents in the vicinity come here for a morning /evening walk to enjoy nice weather and cool surroundings.

Adasa (Marathi: आदासा) is a village in the Saoner taluka of Nagpur district in Maharashtra. It is located at a distance of 43 km from Nagpur. Adasa is famous for its magnificent temples. The most popular among these is the Adasa Ganesh Temple, one of the eight ashtavinayaks in Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region, dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The village of Adasa is also home to the Lord Mahadev Temple.

4. Raman science.

The Raman Science Centre, Nagpur is a constituent unit of the National Council of Science Museums, Kolkata, Working under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.
This center is established in the year 1989 for the popularisation of science among the masses and students in particular of the Vidarbha region. The name Raman was given due to the fact the Sir C. V. Raman, the first Indian Nobel laureate in Physics, has a Nagpur connection while he was associated with the Auditor general’s office in Nagpur

7. Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekri.
