Nagpur : Recently a programme on Vigilance Awareness was organized at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies & Research (DAIMSR) by Bank of India (BOI) Nagpur Zone.
BOI endeavours to promote integrity, transparency & accountability in Public Life through observance of Vigilance Awareness Week. Accordingly BOI intends to encourage all stakeholders to collectively participates in the prevention of and fight against corruption and to raise public awareness regarding the existence, cause and gravity of and the threat posed by corruption.
In order to create the awareness among the students on the ill effects of corruption, BOI has conducted Elocution & poster presentation competition for the students of DAIMSR.
Vilas Parate, Zonal Manager (Nagpur Zone), BOI, stated, “we are celebrating this vigilance awareness week and the theme this year is ‘Corruption Free India’. We specially want the future of India i.e. Youth minds to participate in this campaign & make India corruption free.
10 students participated in poster making competition where the theme was ‘ill-effect of corruption on the society’, where Chetna Somkuwar, Nikita Gajbhiye, & Sanskruti Domde bagged 1st ,2nd Prize & 3rd prize respectively.
Even elocution competition was organized on the theme of ‘Role of Youth against Corruption’, where Kunal Mendhe, Swarup Gondhane and Pradnya Anand bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.
Prof. Anup Dhore, event co-ordinator stated ‘Students actively & enthusiastically participated in both the competitions; I fully give the credit of the success of the event to my students”. Guests were introduced by Ms. Ashwini Pillai & Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Anushka Parwar.
