AMPL Proudly Announces the Launch of Automotive Renew in Nagpur

Continuing the 75 year long progressive journey with the endeavor to take proactive steps in the Automobile Industry, M/S Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL) is proud to launch “Automotive Renew” – a Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) at Kamptee road, Nagpur, armed with coveted License granted by Government of Maharashtra.

Keeping in view the development in Automobile Industry & also keeping in view the vehicular pollution being a serious threat to the Country, “Automotive Renew” a state-of-the-art RVSF with all modern tools and equipment and a team of trained and dedicated professionals was inaugurated by Shri. Vivek Bhimanwar, IAS, Transport commissioner, Maharashtra. This initiative will ensure de-registering of all the End-of-Life vehicles (ELVs) and scrapping them as per international standards.

Mr. Bharat Sanghvi, Chairman, AMPL a pioneer in Auto field has added another feather in the cap by transforming the organization & commencing AMPLs first RVSF Project in Nagpur.

During the inauguration ceremony, Shri Vivek Bhimanwar emphasized on the importance of sustainable practices in the automotive industry and the role of RVSF in achieving the nation’s environmental goals. He concluded by highlighting such initiatives “mark a benchmark for a cleaner tomorrow”. Mr. Sachin B Sanghvi, Executive Director, AMPL, a technically qualified business professional, is taking the initiative forward with a team of dedicated and experienced professionals.

Mr. Sachin Sanghvi strongly advocates for a pollution free future and as a leader of a responsible business house has keenly adopted this “Environmental, Social and Governance” (ESG) initiative of the government. “Automotive Renew” is geared to ensure ELVs dismantling is done in a scientific & systematic manner, abiding by all statutory guidelines of de-pollution and de-risking to ensure recyclability of maximum material out of ELVs as per international standards and guidelines. More initiatives like these will not only help in achieving the vision of a pollution free future but also contribute to the circular economy by providing organized input material at sizeable quantities for various essential products. On the financial side this will not only help in reducing the fiscal deficit by reduced imports of scrap, it will also give a strong impetus to the make in India campaign. Given an opportunity Automotive Renew will plan to have more such RVSFs in the near future.

The planned capacity of the Project is 25000 vehicles per year. This would include all automobiles from two wheelers to high-capacity tractor trailers.
