Pune has become the ninth destination on Akasa Air’s domestic flight network. Having said that, the airline will begin daily direct flights between Bengaluru and Pune on November 23, 2022, operating twice a day.
In Akasa Air’s network, Pune is the second city in the state of Maharashtra after Mumbai. Commenting on the announcement, Praveen Iyer, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer, Akasa Air, said, “We are delighted to add Pune to our fast-expanding network as our second destination in Maharashtra.
Connecting two of the most important IT hubs in – Pune & Bengaluru, will not only offer enhanced connectivity and options but also provide Akasa Air’s signature experience with our dependable, warm & efficient service coupled with affordable fares.”
The double daily flights between Bengaluru and Pune will begin on November 23, 2022, with the second frequency beginning on November 26, 2022. Furthermore, the country’s newest airline has announced that it will add a sixth and seventh frequency between Bengaluru and Mumbai beginning November 23, 2022.
From November 23, Akasa Air will operate seven daily direct flights between Bengaluru and Mumbai.
