Huawei launched its latest Nova series smartphones, the Nova 3 and Nova 3i in India last month. While the Nova 3 is set to go on open sale in India starting later this week, the Nova 3i will be available in the Iris Purple shade starting today on Amazon.in.
So far, the Huawei Nova 3i was available in just a single color in India – Black. Starting today, customers can choose between Black and Iris Purple color options. Unlike the Black color variant, the Iris Purple gradient color makes the Nova 3i look much more unique. However, do keep in mind that the Nova 3i is expected to be sold out within minutes of the sale kicking off. Which is why it is recommended that you be ready to place your order exactly at 12 PM.
Huawei Nova 3i: Price in India, Offers
The Huawei Nova 3i is priced at Rs.20,990 in India and is available in a single memory configuration. If you have an ICICI Bank credit card, you can get the Huawei Nova 3i with a 10% instant discount on opting for the EMI option. Customers holding an HDFC Bank debit card can get a 5% instant discount on the Nova 3i when using the debit card EMI option. Apart from the instant discount offers on ICICI and HDFC Bank cards, Amazon is offering No Cost EMI on select HDFC Bank debit cards as well as Bajaj Finserv EMI cards.
Huawei Nova 3i: Specifications, Features
The Huawei Nova 3i features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The panel covers 85% of the NTSC color space and has a 2.5D curved glass layer on top. When it comes to performance, the Nova 3i runs on HiSilicon’s new Kirin 710 12nm mid-range mobile chipset clocked at up to 2.2 GHz with an ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. Like the more expensive Nova 3, the Nova 3i also comes with Huawei’s GPU Turbo system that improves graphics processing efficiency by 60% while lowering energy consumption by 30%. In the memory department, Huawei Nova 3i comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Further expansion is supported by the handset, although you get Hybrid Dual-SIM slots instead of a dedicated microSD card slot.
At the rear is a 16MP + 2MP dual-camera setup with f/2.2 aperture and an intelligent camera app that uses AI algorithms to recognize 22 categories of 500+ scenes. Thanks to the intelligent scene recognition feature, you can expect to capture great shots without having to fiddle with any settings whatsoever. The Nova 3i also features a dual-camera setup on the front with a 24MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The front cameras also support AI scene recognition and an AI-powered Portrait and Beauty modes. Additionally, the dual selfie cameras come with HDR Pro, allowing for real-time preview even when you are taking photos and videos in direct sunlight.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and Dual 4G VoLTE. The smartphone is fueled by a 3340mAh capacity battery, although it does not come with fast charging support. Some of the other key features of the Huawei Nova 3i include a 360-degree Face Unlock, Histen 5.0 sound effect, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of size, the smartphone measures 157.6 x 75.2 x 7.6mm and weighs in at 169 grams. The smartphone runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 custom UX out of the box with AI-assisted features like image searching and smart shopping similar to the Samsung Mall app on Galaxy smartphones.
