Cricket fever is ready to grip Nagpur once again as the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) prepares to host the 1st T20 International of the “IDFC First Bank T20I Trophy” between India and New Zealand at the VCA International Stadium, Jamtha, on 21st January, 2026.
This much-awaited clash marks a historic moment for the city, as it will be the first bilateral T20 International between India and New Zealand at Jamtha. The last time the two teams played a T20 match here was during the ICC T20 World Cup in 2016, making this encounter even more special for local cricket lovers.
Jamtha Stadium Ready to Welcome Fans
The Jamtha Stadium is fully geared up for the big match. Free and adequate parking facilities have been arranged for spectators, and free drinking water will be available throughout the venue to ensure a comfortable experience for fans.
The New Zealand team will arrive by a chartered flight from Indore on 19th January, 2026, while the selected Indian T20 players will assemble in Nagpur by 19th January, 2026, adding to the pre-match buzz in the city.

- 1st Session: 7.00 pm to 8.25 pm
- Innings Break: 8.25 pm to 8.45 pm
- 2nd Session: 8.45 pm to End of Play
Ticket Sale for VCA Members
Tickets for VCA Life Members and VCA-affiliated clubs will be available offline only from:
- Dates: 13th January, 2026 to 15th January, 2026
- Venue: Bilimoria Hall, VCA, Civil Lines, Nagpur
- Time: 9.30 am to 9.00 pm
A member can collect tickets for themselves and up to four other members by producing valid VCA Membership ID Cards. A representative may collect tickets for a maximum of four members only with an authority letter and valid ID cards.
Each Life Member & Affiliated Club is entitled to one complimentary ticket in the air-conditioned Members’ Box. Members may swap their ticket with a lower denomination ticket if desired. Additionally, members can purchase up to four tickets of any denomination.
Ticket sales for members will strictly close after 9.00 pm on 15th January, 2026.
Selected schools will also receive tickets at concessional rates.

Ticket Sale for General Public
Tickets for the general public will be sold online only through VCA’s official ticketing partner:
- Platform: “District by Zomato” mobile application & district.in website
- Sale Starts: 17th January, 2026
- Time: 10:00 am onwards
Each individual can book a maximum of two tickets, linked to one mobile number and one Email ID.
Offline Redemption of Online Tickets
Online tickets must be redeemed offline at:
- Venue: Bilimoria Hall, Civil Lines, Nagpur
- Dates: 18th January, 2026 to 20th January, 2026
- Time: 9.30 am to 8.00 pm
🚫 There will be NO ticket redemption counter at Jamtha Stadium.
Ticket Sale for General Public
Opening of Stadium Gates
On match day, the Jamtha Stadium gates will open at 4.00 pm (IST), subject to police permission.
Transport & Public Facilities
- Free drinking water will be available.
- Spectators are advised to use cash payments for food purchases due to possible network issues.
- VCA has requested Nagpur Municipal Corporation to operate additional city buses.
- Maha Metro has been requested to run extra services up to New Airport Metro Station.
- Shuttle buses will operate:
- From New Airport Metro Station to Jamtha Stadium
- From VCA parking near Ultra Tech Cement Plant to Jamtha Stadium T Point
- From New Airport Metro Station to Jamtha Stadium
Important Entry Rules for Spectators
- One ticket = One person
- No re-entry allowed once a ticket holder exits the turnstile-covered area
- Alcohol in any form is strictly prohibited
- Entry will be denied if tickets are damaged, defaced, or tampered
