Nagpur: The Army Recruitment Office, Nagpur, under the aegis of HQ Recruitment Zone, Pune, is going to conduct the Agnipath Army Recruitment Rally from September 17 to October 7 in Nagpur. The rally will be held for volunteer male candidates from 10 districts of Vidarbha including Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, Amravati, Bhandara, Gondia, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Akola and Yavatmal.
The rally is being held for enrolment of Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Pass, Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Pass and Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical categories/entries in the Indian Army. The details of age, educational qualification and other criteria for enrolment in the specified categories in the Army are given in the notification published by Army Recruiting Office, Nagpur on July 5.
Online registration will remain open between July 5 and August 3. Candidates can do online registration through the website joinindianarmy.nic.in which is mandatory. The admit cards of registered candidates will be sent to their registered email from August 10 to August 20. The recruitment of overall Agniveers for Indian Army will take place under 71 Army Recruitment Offices (AROs) and 2 Gorkha Recruiting Depots which come under 11 Zonal Recruitment Offices (ZROs).
As of now, the registration is open only in 40 AROs and the remaining 31 AROs would be issued shortly. In Maharashtra, ARO Aurangabad, RO (HQ) Pune and ARO Mumbai are also recruiting Agniveers along with ARO Nagpur in the first stage.
