Plastic Free Market Event In Itwari On Friday

In view of ban being imposed by the Ministry for Environment, Forests & Climate Change on single use plastic from July 1, the members of Amarswarup Foundation and Pulak Manch Pariwar have organised a programme on Friday to create awareness about avoiding use of plastic and promote cloth bags.

They are organising the programme ‘Kabaad Se Jugaad’ for making plastic free market areas. It will be held at Shri Shwetambar Tapgachh Murtipujak Sangh, Bhaji Mandir, Itwari, at 9.30 am.

Radhkrishnan B, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator of NMC, Dayashankar Tiwari, former Mayor, Abha Pande, Member, Maharashtra State Women Commission, Manishbhai Mehta, Trustee of foundation, will be the guests of honour. On the occasion, the guests will distribute cloth bags to the people.
