This 20-year-old little lady dreams of being an entrepreneur. With the aim to bring easy and affordable daily clothing for the people in Nagpur through her dream project The Banjara Bazaar(TBB). TBB aims to become one of the affordable, trendy and easy way of styling for the people of Nagpur city.
Planning to set up a designing house over time by setting up The Banjara Bazaar in the first place Simran states the vision behind The banjara Bazaar, as a thought of bringing different styles from different cities and streets to the trend. The products would be made available throughout the market, and there will be no consolidated space for selling the products.
TBB being her first project, Simran is enthusiastic about having a launch event like the city has never seen before along with many more events in the upcoming months.
We asked her about the story behind TBB and her dream of being an entrepreneur.
Simran :-
I was born and bought up in a little town Wadsa, near Chandrapur. I completed my junior college from Christanand. Being from a family of Chartered Accountants and businessmen, I shifted to Nagpur for Chartered accountancy course without my choice.
My choice was to be an entrepreneur and writer. I loved nothing else as much as literature. Walking along the wrong crossroads of Chartered Accountancy for around two years I finally realized the fact that we need to take a stand for our dreams before they die. Breaking the stereotypes like one cannot achieve big in life without a proper degree course like chartered accountancy I took a drop.
Being a CA dropout and an aspiring writer wanting to be an entrepreneur the eagerness to learn things made me join the tie up a branding, marketing and event management company. At tie up I started working as a content writer and started learning multiple things from marketing to designing.
Today I take my first step in the business world with my startup, The Banjara Bazaar. I believe that one must not bother about how they will manage; one must give a start to the things they love. As the passion for making things work enters your nerves, nothing would stop you. Having a strong aura is the necessity to accomplish better things in life.
