Nagpur : MahaMetro has decided to shut its services for a day on every Monday , from next week. The move came after it received a lot of flak from commuters who turned up in large numbers at its five stations on Monday, only to be informed by officials there about stoppage of services for maintenance.
Since its launch on March 7 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Metro has launched its passenger services on route between Khapri Metro Station and Sitabuldi Interchange Station. It also covers three more stations — New Airport, Airport South and Airport.
Another route from Subhash Nagar to Lokmanya Nagar passing though Hingna is yet to be opened for public, as work is still incomplete.
