SRINAGAR : Jammu University entered into quarterfinals by crushing Nagpur University by a huge margin of 119 runs in the All India T-20 Cricket Tournament, being organised by Kashmir University.
Batting first, Jammu University scored a big total of 211 runs. Skipper Rajesh Salhotra top scored with 59 runs, while Vishal Sudan made 46 runs, Deepak contributed 45 and Dr Noor chipped in with 25 runs.
In reply, Nagpur University bundled out for 92 runs. Rajesh, Sumit, Avtar and Balwant claimed 2 wickets each, while Niranjan Singh claimed one wicket. Rajesh Salhotra was declared as the man of the match for his all-round performance.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director Sports and Physical Education, JU and Sham Lal Sharma, Manager of the team lauded the efforts of the players and support staff for this huge victory.
