28 ventilators failed at IGGMCH due to short circuit

Nagpur: The problem of maintenance at Government hospitals continues unabated. Failure of 28 ventilators at Indira Gandhi Government Medical and Hospital is another glaring example of negligence on the part of the Government.

28 ventilators are learned to go fail due to a short circuit at the hospital. The patients were immediately shifted to other rooms. No death has been reported.

The incident at Bhandara Government Hospital in pediatric departed led to the announcement by the government of the audit of all its hospitals.

However before any corrective steps could be taken, a similar incident due to a short circuit has been reported from IGGMCH on Sunday.
