Nagpur: A youth slipped into the deep waters of Kanhan river near Kamptee while enjoying picnic along with his friends. The deceased has been identified as Prashik Wanjari (21), a resident of Naya Godam area of Kamptee town. Police sources said Prashik had gone to Mahadeo Ghat area with friends for a picnic in the afternoon. Prashik ventured into the river for swimming with his freinds While swimming, he entered in deep water and drowned. Staff of Kamptee police arrived at the spot after being informed by the youths. The body was fished out in the evening. New Kamptee police have registered a case of accidental death.
